    1. #46 - Lucid #5

      by , 11-05-2014 at 01:20 AM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)
      Black: Non-dream
      Blue: Non-lucid
      Red: Lucid

      Note
WBTB at ~5, ate a banana, was pretty good. Did 7 short SSILD cycles followed by 2 long ones, then for every 5 minutes or so afterwards I did another 2 short SSILD cycles to maintain the awareness.

Lucid Dream - Almost fought Goku...
Me and E are in the same house, we're looking for something, I think I remember where it is. She's in the lounge and I recall it being somewhere near the TV, so I head there and move towards the direction of the TV. She is in the centre of the room and kind of gasps at my sudden appearance in the room, and it felt like she was infatuated with me. Felt a bit weird because IWL we pretty much hate each other. I rustle around in the cabinets beneath the TV and there's a whole bunch of damn cables in the way. "Wait a minute... What am I doing here?" I kind of just realize that this is all a dream, I don't even bother doing a reality check.

"stabilize now...... stabilize now.... STABILIZE NOW!" The last one I yelled out and the world around me brightened a bit and became more clear, the echo of my shout rings around the room a bit. Oddly enough I noticed now that I was in a kitchen on the 1st floor of a 2 story house, opposed to being on the 2nd floor of a different 2 story house. E was gone now too. I feel like later I should try summon her back. To my left is a fridge, I approach it, the feel of my feet touching the ground is so real. I can see all the individual dust particles that have settled or were floating around the world. I head towards a some carpeted stairs and go up, I'm met by a typical baby-proof gate. I see a toddler walk out of his room rubbing his eyes, he looks at me and I realize he is me as a kid. I continue on, the baby-proof gate mysteriously gone now. I look around and see something I couldn't possibly describe accurately... It was Luffy's brother Ace (from the One Piece anime) and he was made of bubblegum, including his clothing and hat. He was there, then he wasn't. Then I saw a poster in a nearby room that had him and Luffy with there foreheads pressed against each other in an eye-glaring brotherly stare down. The thought that I could summon Luffy just blew me away, I'd be able to hang with him! Awesome. I think to myself that he's behind the door in that room with the poster, and then rush around. But nope, there's a pimply brown-haired 20 year old hipster dude just sitting on the edge of the bed texting. Then somehow I'm given this container of pills called "Black Elite Pills", which in the dream meant that they're what Goku uses to power-up to his Super Saiyan Black Elite level... Which doesn't exist, I know, but I thought it did in the dream . I see Goku in the room sitting at the computer playing games and I decide to pop open the container and eat a whole heap of them, "Hey Goku, let's do this." I throw him the container, and we're getting ready now to duke it out. But I'm awake now. Slowly the clarity of the dream must have been fading away, and I hadn't noticed.
    2. Another World

by , 11-04-2014 at 12:23 PM (One Up Seeker)
      1. I was inside of a tall tower on a gloomy world that I had never been to before in my dreams. The sky was a dark indigo and partly cloudy. I walked up to the top of this tower and went to the top balcony level where the tower opened up to the sky. Once I got up here I met two girls, one blonde, one brunette. The blonde was wearing a costume that somewhat resembled the one that Tinkerbell wears. It was a really short green dress that only reached to a little ways past her thighs. I sat down to the left of this blonde girl, she looked to be in her early 20's or even younger.
As I sat down I heard the two girls start too talk about past lucid dreamers. I became curious and joined in on the conversation. I asked what they did with past lucid dreamers that had been here before, and the blonde bluntly told me, "Oh they all just wanted to have sex with us, so we did." Immediately I became some sort of lucid, but I'm not sure if it was a fake lucid or authentic one. "If you did it with them, why not do it with me?" I asked. "Ok, why not" the blonde replied. She then scooted near me closer, but she moved towards me kind of slowly as though to create a type of sexy approach.
Finally she got right next to me, "You can get on top of me now, I don't mind" I said(lol sounds so weird, I know). With my help she then got on my lap. Holy crap, when she sat on my lap her dress didn't even reach past her thighs, its like it shortened. I ran my hands across her legs and thighs, it was time. I pulled it out and started banging the blonde. But that's not the important part, I discovered something else, something that would alter my lucid dreaming forever. After I finished having sex with the blonde girl I remember flying off somewhere.
After flying for some time I encountered another DC. I'm not sure whether it was a male or female, but whoever it was, they were extremely intelligent. I remember asking them, "How can I stay in Lucid Dreams as long as I want?". They replied to me, "Simply know that you never have to leave this place, that you control when you wake up." After this a chain of events occurred, but I don't remember them. I thought with that reasoning though, that I don't have to wake up until I want to, and it worked for the entire dream. The only thing that made me wake up after some time was the fact that I knew I had school and I didn't know if I would be able to hear my alarm, so I woke myself up. Other than that, I literally had no problem whatsoever staying in the dream .

In the end, I have no idea whether or not this was a real lucid dream, if felt pretty real, but at the same time, the way I achieved lucidity seemed a bit off. Plus, my recall of the beginning of the dream where I first gained lucidity was a bit fuzzy.

      11.4.14

      Last night bed at 9pm - 2:30am

also slept a lot yesterday from 9am to 2pm, coz I wasn't feeling well last few days, and I'm still not good

      DR:

I'm at some kind of a family compound. Outside in the very large yard, or field. It's surrounded by a fence, but inside is just dirt or dry grass, as if it was fall or winter.

Somebody is trying to come in in a homemade helicopter. I realize something and I get him to take me home from there to my mom. It's far away, another country or even continent.

Now I'm at home. I'm heading to the restroom when my mom is calling me. I go to see and she has some pyjamas on the bed, asking me if I want to take some with me when I'll return back to where I came from. They are very cool looking, gray and black and white, and soooo soft. But I don't want to take hers away, as I did last time. And I feel sorry now for not bringing those back to her now, since I could have had, having a ride and all.

Now my dad is there too. We have the courtains opened and I'm looking outside at some dark cloud, which has a "leg". I think I see it getting longer, and another cloud has a part that is also protruding down and getting longer and bigger. I say "wow, you guys we are getting a tornado". The hanging parts are now in shape of a tornado and spinning wildly.

By the time I grab my camera, they are so close that all I see is blackness. I ran to doors and close them, yelling at everybody to do the same. In case some window opens, it won't suck us all out.

It goes right over the house. I am excited. I go out on the kitchen balcony. My aunt is there and I ask her how they protected themselves from tornado. But she is busy. Her daughter (my cousin K) is in wedding gown, getting married. She says we should hurry, coz they are starting to gather.

My mom says she has no dress for a wedding, coz they didn't tell her on time. I also don't have anything, since i only grabbed one bag when I was going there.

I ask about my friend who came with me yesterday and was sleeping over, and mom tells me she went home already. I remember she has family in town.

I'm looking out the living room window again. I tell my mom "you won't believe how often I have a dream about me looking out this window". And I see the tennis courts across the street.

Suddenly its pitch dark outside. I see an anourmous cloud of large, black birds flying by. They are mostly or all crows, flying in neat formation, all same speed. Some of them look at me. I once again scramble for my camera to take pictures, coz it's an incredible sight.

Now from the other direction, from south to north, there are people flying in the air. They are standing up as if walking. Most if not all are male, all dressed in business attire. I regnize one of them as an american actor. He has a bloody lip. I look at others and most of them have some sign of trauma. They are all somber, not talking, not looking around.

I ask a question and one that looks like the actor answers "time". I ask to clarify and he says "we are running out of time".

    4. Young-adult fiction dream characters (How did this get under the radar?!)

      by , 11-04-2014 at 12:27 AM (Journal #86)
11-03-2014: It's been a while since I last posted here. Yes, I have had some strange dreams over the past three years, but either they went too fast or I haven't had the time or bad days have caught up to me...repeatedly.

However, the one last night was pretty memorable. I was able to also match the description of the dream character as well. She had brown hair and brown eyes, a petit build, wearing a beige bubble jacket, dark blue jeans with black high top Chucks (Converse Chuck Taylor All-Stars, for those who don't get the popular term) with either aqua green or sky blue shoelaces.

She also looked around 14 or 15-17 years of age, and politely asked me and another character on a bus as she walked by, "Is anybody sitting here?" I didn't get to see what happened next, as I woke up around 6:30~40-ish. I believe she appeared in one other dream I had a couple of months ago, stemming from a strange YouTube video I saw detailing the uploader's views on reactions if YouTube user davemadson was terminated, and one of which had a screaming little girl that likely came from an episode of R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour that aired on Discovery Family (formerly The Hub). (On a sad note, he DID have to close down his channel on April 7, 2014 because of his busy personal life AND Microsoft discontinuing support for Windows XP that day--and I didn't even subscribe to him.)

However, it was likely the girl from last night's dream but with the same clothes clinging to me, holding on to my left arm like she's scared of somebody. And yes, she still had the same (either) medium or dark brown hair and brown eyes. Again, I didn't know what happened next like the dream last night, as I woke up early.

One of my life goals is to write a YA story, or young-adult novel. And as I'm writing this entry, I'm considering making her the main character. As I listen to a lot of music, I am also considering what kind of playlist she might have (personally, I would like it to be '90s mixed with today) as well. I am also in my 19th year writing (got my first computer/word processor in 1994, didn't start writing until 1995). In regards to the dream character, I haven't given her a name yet. I am also considering creating teenage boy characters where James Lafferty and Miko Hughes are inspirations/ideas (this is starting to become a trademark habit of mine) as well that serve as an interest to her. However, I'm not sure whether to base the story in California or North Carolina yet.

I have found out in recent years that writing a story that takes place in North Carolina is a lot harder than writing one that takes place in California. This has been going on since late-2003 when I took a creative writing class in my senior year of high school. And I also learned that writing a young-adult novel is a tall order and I've got my work cut out for me. So that means I'd better get going and not let life distractions get in the way of achieving said goal. Until next time...WM86
    5. More Dreams

      by , 11-03-2014 at 07:08 PM
Dream 1: I was Effie Trinket from the Hunger Games for Halloween, so I had this dream on Halloween night. So anyway, I dreamt that my marching band was getting ready for a parade and this one clarinet player named Makenzie asked me what I went as for Halloween. I pulled out my phone to show her a picture of me in my Effie Trinket costume, and showed her my picture. Makenzie didn't believe me and told me that I was crazy, even though she saw it with her own eyes, and threw my phone on the concrete and it shattered into a million pieces. Then, in the middle of the parade, I was playing my piccolo and somehow it blew up and then the entire band blew up and I was in some of my family's friends' (who we haven't seen in like six years) basement. The older brother named Alexander (who's like 21) was playing a teeny tiny xylophone. I asked him why and he stuck out his tongue at me. Then, I was skiing into a huge pit of cotton candy and then I woke up.

Dream 2: I once had a dream that I was at a huge water park with my family. My brother and I were going on these awesome water slides in which the floor dropped out of them and we shot down the tube and it was awesome. Well, when we got up there, each of the three slides had something wrong with it. The first one had no water, the second one was clogged with people, and the third one was working fine except for a huge gap in the middle of the slide. You had to slide down well enough to throw your body weight over the gap to the other part of the slide. We were about 200 feet up, and it was SUPER scary, but my brother went down first. He made it over the gap, but then, WHAM!!! He flew over the slide and onto the roof, which was just a net. Since the lifeguard wouldn't rescue him, I had to. I had to climb up over 200 feet in the air and rescue my brother from a net. It's terrifyingly high up, so I don't look down, even though I'm not afraid of heights. But I'm wet, so that gives me a better chance at slipping and falling. I grab his hand and slowly inch down the net, until it snaps and we plunge down, screaming at the top of our lungs. We land safely in the pool. Yay! We get out and my little sister makes me play Barbie dolls with her. "We're at a water park!" I shout, "let's do something fun!" Then, I realize we're hungry, so I see a rusty old pickup truck and a trail of cranberry muffins leading down a highway. My little sister drives us, and we almost run off the road, so we decide to get out and eat the trail of cranberry muffins and see where it leads us. By the time we reach the McDonald's, we are too full from all those muffins, so we decide to go back to the water park. Back at the water park, I see my eighth grade social studies teacher in the little kids' play area, going down a slide that a lifeguard said I was too big to go down the last time I visited the water park.
    6. A couple non-lucid dreams but then DREAM CONTROL

by , 11-03-2014 at 05:14 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I don't remember much from the first dream I can remember from last night. I do remember being at a museum where supposedly the first "selfie" from the year 1010 could be found. It wasn't taken with a camera, of course, and it was actually a complete accident. Apparently a family had gone skydiving and the imprint from where their faces had hit the ground became fossilized, so this "selfie" was just a fossilized impression of people's faces. I was disappointed when I saw it, though. It was just a chalk outline of where the people had fallen, and someone had actually drawn these people on the piece of rock, which I thought was kind of wrong because it was in a cartoonish style and therefore inaccurate.

After that, I recall talking with some guy about Cruisin' USA (an old N64 racing game I used to have; I eventually traded it in a few years ago because, every time nostalgia told me to play that game, I was let down by the awful graphics and the cars' terrible handling). We then heard music from that game coming from somewhere nearby, so we started wandering around the floor of my residence hall trying to figure out which room someone was playing it in.

I woke up from that and had another strange dream when I went back to sleep. My parents were both visiting me at college, and I recommended that they see the Rocky Horror Show (my school's theater production this semester). I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard it's awesome. At some point, I remember noticing that my parents had left, so I started looking for them to see if they were still around. I ran out through the back door (I was in my house now for some reason - technically my old house, but my family just moved this summer, and I've hardly spent any time in the new house because I left for college a few days after we moved and have only been home for one weekend since). When I didn't see my parents there, I ran out the front door and saw my mom's car still in the driveway... packed full of my fraternity Brothers. That was confusing at first, but then they all shouted, "Thank you for helping your mother!" It turned out my mom was in the car too and had recruited them all to say that for some reason.

I woke up again but went back to sleep again. In this next dream, there was a floor event in my residence hall. I saw Jackie, one of my fraternity Brothers (we refer to everyone as a Brother regardless of gender), which surprised me because I didn't know she lived on my floor or even in my building (in reality, she does not). Anyway, the "event" was that everyone would be given a big crossword puzzle to take with them and do throughout the day, and whoever finished it first could return it to get a prize.

For some reason, at some point, we ended up outside by a road intersection off-campus. I decided to leave early and return to campus, which is when things started getting strange. By the time I was back on campus, I found it really hard to walk forward. There was some slight wind at the time, so I thought that could be attributed to the wind, but the wind didn't seem strong enough to interfere with walking. I thought it was strange, but I saw that everyone else was affected in the same way, so I figured it was probably just the wind after all.

When I got back to my dorm, I realized I'd forgotten to take a crossword puzzle from the event, so I decided to text Jackie to ask her if she could bring one back for me, but I didn't have her number, and I didn't know who else I could ask. I also remember getting a bunch of texts from my boyfriend throughout this dream and the last that I felt kind of bad about not having the time to reply to.

The dream suddenly because a Sims 3 game, and, since time can be sped up in the game, I accidentally fast-forwarded time (on the fastest setting) to a couple hours later before finally pausing it. I knew for sure now that I wouldn't be able to ask Jackie to get me a crossword puzzle because there's no way that "event" would still be going on. I also felt bad about not replying to my boyfriend's texts now that even more time had passed.

I realized after awhile that something didn't look quite right about the game interface, though I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was that was different. I did an RC when I noticed that and counted six fingers. I was dreaming! I counted again just to make sure. Seven fingers. Definitely dreaming! Instead of being all clueless as usual when I become lucid, I said out loud, "Now, this is where the fun begins."

Since I had no plan for the dream, I ran around, looking for something fun to do in a dream (I was no longer playing Sims anymore). I found a buffet table. I could eat! No, no, that's something I can do while I'm awake. Then, I spotted an empty glass and an empty silver pitcher on the table and decided now it was time to learn to exert some control over the dream. I decided that, if I poured the "empty" pitcher into the cup, I'd be pouring a drink out of it instead of nothing. I decided it'd be "something like eggnog" (the first thing that came to mind), but not quite the same, because why drink something in a dream I can drink in real life? The drink that came out was white and a little thick, but it didn't taste at all like eggnog. It was creamy, though, and kind of sweet, and... fizzy? I was actually surprised when I tasted something that was slightly fizzy because I wasn't expecting that.

I realized while I was drinking it that I was wearing my retainer, and my reaction to that was my one fatal mistake. I decided I should take my retainer out, but, instead of doing something quick like tossing it on the floor (who cares what happens to it if it's a dream and not real life?), I decided to find the case for it and put it back in its case. That was my big mistake because everything went dark, so I realized I was waking up because this had torn me away from what was keeping me occupied. Once I started to feel myself lying in bed, I knew that was it. I opened my eyes, disappointed I'd caused myself to wake up because of something so silly but also proud of myself for having had some control over not just myself but the dream environment itself.

I did one final RC just to ensure I was awake. Five fingers. I counted again. Five fingers again. Yep, definitely awake this time.

    7. Highest Recall Rate Yet!

      by , 11-03-2014 at 04:14 AM (Sharpshoey's Lucid Journey)
I woke up a lot of times last night and I was really happy with the recall that I had. I was sure I'd get an LD from all the MILDs I did while going back to sleep, but I'm still happy even though I didn't LD. Maybe it was because I was really tired so I was able to MILD for only like 5 seconds before my mind drifted off.

      Dream 1
I am in the NFL and I am a superstar running back. I kept on evading tackle after tackle.

      Dream 2
I am in this house and there are these monster type things going around killing people. There was a scene where a security guard was looking at something, and a monster snuck up behind him and stabbed him. I was standing in a bedroom and someone asked me something and I was sure that I knew who did it, because I was the best detective ever.

      Dream 3
I was in my teacher's classroom with one of my friends, who isn't in that class IWl. It had something to do with basketball too.

      Dream 4
I stop my car at a stop sign by my old Elementary School. I am going to Open Gym for Basketball.

      Dream 5
My mom thought someone stole a red towel that she had, so we all got in the car and drove around looking for it. I saw a house with a red towel hanging out to dry and I thought that was it, but then I saw another house with a red towel. I then realized that all the houses had a red towel hanging out to dry and I was wondering how we were going to figure out which one was ours.

      Dream 6
I have a bible study at my house because the person who's house we usually go to has something else to do. B pulls up in my driveway in a silver car. The driveway goes right up to my front door, instead of having a sidewalk like IWL. I look around and the house is really messy and disorganized. I make a mental note to apologize when the people come in. I know my mom will be mad because the house is dirty and people are coming over and she doesn't know about it.

      Dream 7
My mom suddenly knew how to speak Spanish and was teaching me different words and we were having some mini conversations. I had chicken nuggets in the over and I took them out to eat. I was wondering what time I should eat the chicken nuggets at.

      Dream 8
I am in a class at my school...it's not an actual class I have. There are some people in there from my church who are the kids of the church staff. We get to go home early that day and they have to go directly to church to help clean up and I feel bad for them because that would be a total waste of the rest of the day. I am then in the band room of the middle school I went to. There are pictures and videos of nude people dancing and some of my teachers are in them. I am sickened by the sight of that.

      Dream 9
I am sitting in a circle of chairs in the library talking about how many computers you should own and which computers are the best.

      Dream 10
I am outside another kid's house. His neighborhood is a really long street and there are a bunch of houses on each side, with perfectly green lawns. M, E, J, and another kid are having are playing football. E is in a white shirt and it for some reason got soaking wet. She is really hot and I stare at her chest. The other kid is now just in his underwear, and the other's comment on how he always does that. He was looking around for his clothes. I see about four little kids playing football behind my car which is parked in the driveway. I exclaim that I recognize one of the kids from a basketball camp. I then say that we are best friends. I go on my Ipod and look on Instagram, nobody has liked the pictures I've posted and I feel bad about that. I think that my next post should be of me at open gym, but I think that may be a bit stupid and won't get any likes, so I decide not to. I then try to decide if I should get Twitter.
    8. Met Claudia Black + some dragon stuff

      by , 11-02-2014 at 09:09 PM
I woke up in my room, but i had like 7-8 fingers, and then I just "wow, i'm actually dreaming"
I rubbed my hands and focused on my breath. Everything was a little bit blurry, but it got very clear after a couple of seconds.
"Where's my dreamguide?" I asked out loud. Suddenly, my teacher appeared (yes, my TEACHER).
"Are you my dreamguide?" I asked. She answered yes.
      "Well, show me something brilliant."
My room turned into air nothing and everything just floated in the air. It was pretty amazing.
And the best: a dragon came flying. That was awesome..
      I jumped on it.
"Fly me to a cool sci-fi celebrity!" I yelled on the dragons back.
The dragon flied higher and higher, straight up. A VERY big, portal appeared right in front of me and the dragon flied in there.

BANG, and the dragon's gone. I stood in a luxury house and Claudia Black sat in the sofa. She looked at me and smiled. Awesome. Again.
I got a little bit excited, so she began to fade, but I rubbed my hands again and yelled out loud.
We talked for a long time. I asked why I was there, and she answered that I was there because I wanted to ride dragons with her, and then I just laughed so hard.
She asked me why that was so funny and I laughed even harder, but the dream just faded away and I lost my lucidity..

      It was freakin fun anyway

It goes without saying that I’ve slacked off lately. On this journal, for one thing. I’d also completely stopped even trying with the dreaming, for another. In fact the more I think about it and question it, the more I realize that my life in general was starting to fall back into the same old rut that it always does.

But yesterday, I started trying the reality checks again. Not as religiously as before. I had taken no B6. Hell, I wasn’t honestly even planning on writing down my dreams when I woke just out of pure laziness. Yet, somehow, after all this time away… And after my first day “back” being such a half-assed effort… I had a lucid dream.

Well, first I had a dream about being lucid. Like that first one, awhile back. And now I’m sure beyond a shadow of a doubt that they were just dreams and not actual lucidity. Because the lucid dream that followed was so different, so amazing, so absolutely unbelievable that there can be no doubt in my mind that the other two weren’t lucid.

And it left me so excited, so amazed, that I know there’s no going back now. I’ll take all this more serious than ever before. I read somewhere once that once you have your first one, everything changes and you’ll never want to return to not having them. That your dedication and drive will multiply after just the first experience… How very, very true that has turned out to be.

I remember nothing about the first dream, other than the fact that it was about me being lucid. I didn’t write it down when I woke up you see, because even after that I had no intention of writing/trying too hard.

I question if maybe me dreaming about it was me trying to become lucid, and then somehow failing, but my subconscious continues to build the dream as though I’d succeeded. Just a thought.

Anyway, on to the lucid dream…

I don’t remember exactly how this dream starts, or at what point I decided to reality check. Though I’m feeling that it was probably very soon into the dream. Because I was laying in bed, and I was very tired. My suspicion is that the rule of reality checking every time you wake up is what got me (which is funny because I barely ever remember to do that, which is something I now intend to remedy), because I think that in the dream I’d just woken up. It’s what all signs and images in my memory point to, anyway. I did the pinched nose reality check, and it was seemingly succeeded. Despite being a bit excited at this discovery, I was so tired that I convinced myself that it hadn’t really worked, and I almost went back to sleep. Then I checked something else though, despite the tired haze. My hands, I believe. I looked at my palms. I don’t remember how they looked like but I do remember that for a brief moment this strobe light type effect started to happen around me, and that was the point where I realized I was definitely dreaming. There was a whoosh, a pop, or something. I can’t explain it. But when that happened, everything became much more in focus.

I guess it’s the rush that I’ve read about. They say you get a surge as your senses and mind come alive in the dream, the moment you realize it’s a dream. Now I finally know what that feels like.

Anyway, I was still overwhelmingly tired. So much so that it felt like a huge weight was on me. But I knew I was lucid, and I wanted to get out of bed. I did so very, very slowly. Both for the sake of attempting to keep myself very calm, and also because the tiredness was getting to me. Once I was up though, the tiredness vanished instantly.

I walked out of the bedroom and into the living room. This house was, in many ways, like my actual home. The rooms were in a slightly different position. The living room especially was an almost mirrored version of mine, with two bedroom doors on the right wall (facing the front door) and a door opposite the front door leading into the kitchen area. There was a little bar/low ceiling thing int he kitchen area near the back wall, though it didn’t take up the entirely of the back side of the room. Just like 1/3 of it, or so. I remember locking the bedroom doors ‘cause I felt frightened like something might come out of them. Not sure why.

Now that I think about it, it was my brother’s bedroom that I was sleeping in at the start of the dream. I lived alone. Not sure what was in that other bedroom, ‘cause that room doesn’t exist in this house. I never went in.

Two things happened next, and I can’t remember which came first.

One of them is that I wanted it to storm. So I closed my eyes, commanded the dream to give me a roaring thunderstorm.. And it did. I could hear the thunder, see the lightning through the windows, hear the rain pounding down. It was so very wonderful.

The other was… Cats. I think there was already a cat in the living room when I entered, though I’m not positive. Either way, at some point I decided to add cats. I think it was my way of testing the water instead of just trying to add people straight away. I remember adding a lime green cat, an electric blue cat.. There were two others by the time I was done, making four total (counting the one that I think was there already.) Can’t remember if I closed my eyes and asked for them, or simply willed them into being.

With both of those things though, and the things that are yet to come, one thing I definitely noticed is that I didn’t always get what I wanted on the first try. If my belief that I could do it wavered at all, it wouldn’t work. And even if I believed I could make things happen but didn’t MEAN IT when I said what I wanted, it wouldn’t happen then either. I had to believe it and to mean it with all of me. It’s going to take some practice. Eventually though, I’d always get it. Some times on the first try, some times it would take two or three.

Another thing to note before I move forward is that I was never too much in control of my surroundings. I know I changed the weather (and will again soon), summoned the cats, and teleport once later in the dream.. But for the most part, I just let the dream world build itself around me. Then again, it’s worth mentioning that I couldn’t convince any of my dream characters that I was dreaming. Which in itself helps show that I wasn’t in complete control anyway. So of course the world was mostly building itself. Still, it was worth noting.

I went outside for some reason. I don’t recall why. The storm was no longer happening once I went outside, so I guess I lost control of it. Brian pulled up in the front yard in his truck. The front yard did not resemble my real one. A small lawn with one tree on it, and the road very close the porch. Brian wanted to hang out, and I talked him into getting out of his truck. I don’t recall how but I made him believe we were going to fly. I held him by the wrist, focused.. And up we went. Not very high, mind you. I never got more than maybe 20 or 30 feet off the ground. Not sure why. I’m wanting to think that going higher seemed hard for some reason. Brian, despite thinking that this wasn’t a dream, seemed to find this whole ordeal perfectly normal. I released his wrist at some point to see if I could keep him flying without me, and I could. So down the road we went, past street lights and trees, until we got into a town setting.

At an intersection, we came across a group of what I remember being strange-looking people. Jordan was among them though, and I stopped and said hello to him. I don’t recall much about our interaction, and I don’t remember where Brian wandered off to but he disappears around this time too. In fact this whole small block of the dream is very blurry in my memory. I recall flying low down an alley with lots of things hanging overhead, including several fire escapes.

Someone was joking around with me at one point about how I never walk, and that I’m always flying. So I land for a few seconds just to be like “see I can walk!” then I laugh, swear off walking, and go back to flying around again. I made it snow at some point during this, and I do remember that with a bit more clarity because it took me quite a few tries. That plus the blurred memory makes me wonder if the dream was trying to pull me back into it.

Whatever the case, things become clear again and I tell the dream that I would like to “return to home base”. After a try or two, I was back home with all my little multicolored cats. I decided that I wanted to try to summon someone that I wasn’t overly familiar with being around in person, as a bit of a test. So I closed my eyes and called out for Lilith to appear. At first I didn’t think it worked, but then I noticed her smiling at me from behind the bar thing in the kitchen. I started to talk to her, though she didn’t exactly look like her. Close, but a few things here and there were off. At some point during our interactions, a humanized Fluttershy appeared and started to hang out with us. Probably a red flag, since that’s a bit out there. Because soon after that, I felt the dream start to slip away from me. I realized it was happening, but my research on how to hold on slipped my mind, and very soon I lost control and woke up. I think I got too worried and worked up when I felt it starting to get away from me, hence the waking. I need to study more on how to hold on to it for next time.

      Work On:
–Write down every dream the moment I wake from it. Every time.
–Dream check more at home. Make it a habit at all places, at all times of the day. Not just at work.

      Current Dream Signs:
      –Work
–Amy and Andy’s House (Perhaps Amy and Andy themselves as well? Unsure.)
      –Yylvis, The Fox

    10. Coles and Town Shooting

      by , 11-02-2014 at 09:05 AM
1st. I remember walking down a street and there was this large brick building, I went inside and I had to go past the lobby even though no one was there I still felt like it was a big deal. When you walked through the lobby doors the was a very gradual slope or possibly just long stairs, there were windows on one side and the flooring was just a really shitty red carpet that you would find in old(ish) buildings. At the end of the stairway there was a large are although nothing too big. There was a class room directly opposite of the stairway and next to it a door. I didn't expect there to be a class there and just wanted to leave now, but I soldiered on (Dream Neason is such a trooper!). This led to another hall with steps at the end, tonnes of Coles logos on the walls (because why not??) And then a turn to another door, when I tried to open this door it was locked so I headed back. As I was walking through the small hall door way Jake Sut walked through and scared the shit out of me.

I then ended up going to the plaza after that, it was partially empty and some parts were even decorated for Christmas as I was walking through there was this weird circle elevator although it only led to a platform about a metre of the floor. An old couple then walked by and went up the down escalator. I went to do the same but every time I tried it would speed up and at one point my feet were scraped against the bottom of the escalator, so I had to walk around and go up the up escalator but once I was up I realised that it was fucking pointless and continued to wander around the plaza until my dream ended.

2nd. I’m not sure how exactly this dream started although I remember there being lots and lots of hype around a certain person. He claimed he would kill the whole town. There were literally hundreds of police in the surrounding area. At some point I ended up going home to my room. The lights were off and the curtain was shut although I still had this weird fear that I was in aim and could be taken out at any moment. Often I would turn the lights and blinds off although they’’ My dad would always come in to check on me although one of the times I had this weird sense of deja-vu one of the times, so strong that I knew he was in the kitchen and that my dad knew he was the murderer. I walked out to the kitchen and he was sitting in a lawn chair.

Despite the fact that I knew he wouldn’t hurt me I was still fucking scared out of my mind. He gave me a beer and told me to drink, it tasted like a liquified potato disguised as a beer. He talked to me about other stufff and then decided to leave and get back to business. As soon as he walked through the door the police swarmed our house and arrested him. They asked him a few questions although I can’t remember what the answers to them were but I remember he got a few people laughing, soon after I woke up.
    11. Vacations Can Be Murder

      by , 11-02-2014 at 02:50 AM (Keitorin's Dream Log)
‘I’m’ on a ship that’s sailing through a body of water. It passes the same piece of log with ropes tied on it three times, and there was some story about sunken ship(s). As it gets to third one, one of three(?) girls mentions it worriedly. Another says something like ‘it’s just a legend’.

There’s a view of a boat ahead paddling past the log, and the left paddle almost hits a piece of wood sticking out from the log.

The ship is parked next to something like a sandbar in the water. The mood feels like a vacation, everyone’s preparing to relax and have fun. The girl who was worried before gets off the ship and goes onto the strip of sand stuff and feels safer there for some reason.

There’s a little girl playing on the circle at the end of the sandbar and a ‘ritzy’ couple sitting off to side with their small dog.

Scene changes to inside the ship. A couple is trying to have sex but their child keeps interrupting. The man tells her to go do something and not come back until she reaches ‘zero’.

The couple canoodling scene changes into one of a NC-17 rated horror scene, a mix between the Halloween movies, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Criminal Minds shows. I unfortunately remember parts of it and I woke up feeling sick and had a hard time getting back to sleep. So I’d rather not have to type it up. @_@

The girl’s voice sounds, saying ‘here there are’ and such. She brings a worker/cook (she’s wearing a uniform and apron) with her, who starts screaming when she sees the scene of carnage – and the killer who’s causing it. The killer reminds me of Jason and Michael. Think he was even wearing a mask, but he had near shoulder length kinky red-ish hair.

The girl is screaming too. They run. The girl had short, mousy brown hair and was about ten or eleven years old. The worker was middle-age or younger with her light-colored hair put up.

    12. 10/30/14, 10/31/14, 11/1/14 Very Aware 2nd Half of Night, Girl Friday

      by , 11-01-2014 at 09:46 PM
11/1/14 I feel myself back in bed and start getting a WILD-like transition. I feel myself floating just millimeters off of my bed with my wife's arm around me as if it is holding me from floating off. I am fairly sure her arm is also just part of the transition and will myself to float up further to make sure I am fully in the dream and not just imagining that I am feeling a little light. I then start willing myself to propel forward through the darkness and settle on attempting to arrive at my favorite grassy sea beach. I fly for a good while but eventually have a false awakening of my son making a good deal of noise downstairs. I have a good amount of awareness and memory and remember that he went to bed already and it is highly unlikely that he is having a loud conversation downstairs in the middle of the night and that I should be dreaming. I go out of my room and try to float down the stairs but maybe I kind of float inches above the staircase on the way down. When I get to the bottom I hear my wife coming out of the room upstairs and decide to do a float from my living room up into the vaulted ceiling with a view to the loft area to show off to my wife's DC (any doubt that I am dreaming is fully erased by this point). I hear more than one person in the family room and float back down to go in there and half expect to see my son and his college girlfriend and maybe have some fun with her. Instead, I see Girl Friday get off of the couch and my son is there also. I tell her to "come here, remember how you really wanted to (give me oral)?" She looks like she recollects the same and I whip it out and she starts doing an okay job with it in her mouth. I say "oh remember, you wanted to lick it" and she starts to lick it and it is very, very nice! I look over and say to my son "she is good" and my wife starts to come down and still fully lucid I tell her to check out what is happening. This eventually comes to an end and I wake. I then have a series of short dreams with continued good awareness, some lucid, some semi-lucid, some unclear as my recall wanes: cherry pie like treat, I pour milk over it and add cereal flakes; Outside my house and I note how realistic the trees look and how well the dream replicated how they look; re-coated aluminum pan at M Blvd, I start to write down my dreams so far (in the dream) first on the table cloth, then on an envelope (later did just that IWL) ; amusement ride, swinging boat, cameraman acting tough and taking video of guy in middle seats (less thrilling) yet he is also in the middle seats on the other side of the center of the boat; in the back seat of an SUV with a video game screen in the middle just behind the front seats; short dream with a distant explosion; lots of short forced dreamlets related to all of the beautiful women who will be at an even I am attending IWL. During this series of short dreams it felt like I was on the edge of wake/sleep in an unusual way and I was testing my state at times finding that I could transition out of a scene with my eye clenches with accompanying vibrations. Very odd and I felt much more on the dream side of things than when I am trying to do similar things after a WBTB or late awakening and getting more traditional dreamlets that seem to occur more on the waking side of the equation. Hopefully I was actually finding success in staying aware but away from my waking body at times when I would normally return to bed and wake up too much, hopefully bridging the gap between the now shorter gaps between REM periods. Possible reasons for good night of lucidity: repeatedly asking myself what was I dreaming (earlier in the night); daytime awareness work with more dream actions (like RRCIS); some playing with CanisLucidus' "looking for the dream" may have been key in getting good replications of my home featured in the Girl Friday lucid and the lucid moment outside of my house with the trees later. Will just count 2 lucids tonight. 223 & 224

10/31 early lucid. Sexy women around. "If this were a lucid dream, I would...ah...I am dreaming." I interact caveman style with several women before focusing on one turning her on with dirty talk and actions before doing some float-flying. 222

10/30 Exhilarating, romantic and sexual lucid with a younger woman with small breasts. I particularly enjoyed cupping her breasts much like early sexual experiences. 221
    13. 10-30-14 The Forbes Road demon-man

      by , 10-30-2014 at 06:27 PM
My mother and my dog and I were driving around this secluded rural area at late evening. It was late in the year, and there was snow on the ground, but the sun was out. We saw a road that went off into the woods. The name of it was, as near as I can remember, Forbes Road. I recalled that I had heard it was a haunted road, but I didn't say anything. So we started down it.

By this time, it was getting dark. We came around a curve. There was a man with his car pulled over to the side of the road. He was out of his car. I turned off my headlights and got closer.

At first, he appeared normal. He looked like a rather fat middle-aged man with white hair. Then he saw me and he changed. His eyes glowed red and he looked sinister. For whatever reason I opened my door to see him better. My dog leaped out the door and onto the road, and suddenly the man made an abrupt lunge at the door, so I slammed it closed and drove off as fast as I can, leaving my dog behind. We then contacted the police and reported the incident.

The steering wheel on my car kept coming off during our escape.

Later, I got home. I lived by myself in a fancy house on top of a hill. It was Christmas time. I was the caretaker of this little girl in a blue dress. I told her Christmas jokes and raced her around the table. When I caught her, I tickled her. She had a great time.

My mother and I were eating at an Indian restaurant at the bottom of a skyscraper in Chicago. There were no other floors on the skyscraper, so there was no ceiling. All the light poured in from all the windows above.

The owners were both Indian, a husband and wife. They had the radio on to entertain their customers. It was tuned to a talk show. The announcer was interviewing an Indian man over the telephone. But the radio guy forgot what to call people of his nationality, so he referred to the Indian guy as a "tannish man". This insulted the owners of the restaurant, so they turned off the radio and made me play the xylophone instead.

An older guy had borrowed a pastor's truck for a few days. When he returned his truck to him, he kind of sheepishly admitted that he had accidently spilled some sour kraut in the front seat. He opened the door to show the pastor. Gallons of sour kraut were literally piled on the passenger seat, and it came spilling out the door and onto the ground. The pastor was furious.
    14. Semi-lucid planning how I'm going to do the fractal dare

      by , 10-29-2014 at 05:26 PM (4th DJ-Attempt)
Non-lucid, False Awakening, Semi-lucid and Additional notes

Went to take a nap, and I fell asleep while playing some Sudoku, the hard level with diagonals...

.../I'm in the corner of our building. There's a garage door turning to the left side of the corner. Apparently it's part of our apartment. I take two low tom drums and sit next to the playground. I start playing some rhythms that I consider to sound like a war call. I like how it sounds and want to record this one. I see one of the patches is broken. There are a couple of punk kids walking around the neighborhood. I decide to go back into the house taking the two drums with me. Apparently the dream has ended and now I'm still laying on my bed 'thinking'. My 'thoughts' start to appear in front of my eyes, I don't consider this to be a lucid state, I just know that I'm not awake. Then I remember that I have the fractal dare in my things to do list. While I'm waiting for the dream to properly 'materialize'. I look for an image of a fractal where I could start this task. The whole floor turns into a cut shell structure like this:

I'm standing on the lines and notice it's diffracting in small portions of the same pattern to the borders like the borders of a crocheted doily.

I go there thinking that in order to perform the task, I must dive into those small structures. I think I have to zoom into those structures in order to do so. I knee on the web of lines and stare deeper into the structure. It doesn't take too much until I'm inside a huge 3D fractal structure of the same pattern. I think this is going to be awesome when I'm fully lucid. I turn on my back thinking that it's the best image I could come up with. When a thought (those very imaginative thoughts that only show up when I'm dreaming) gets into my mind: "What about if I cheat it? I mean, I could jump into foam bubbles and wallow on it! That's a fractal too". Then I remember it should be a romanesco and the task would be awesome too, like this one shell like pattern I'm wallowing on right now. I wallow extremely happy on this structure.
Then I turn and fall to my side and end laying upside down against the mattress which is leaning against the wall. It's very uncomfortable here. I think I could RC to confirm if I'm not already dreaming when some hands pull my feet to the other side of the mattress. It's my wife and she seems to be very horny. She kisses me but her tongue tastes a little bit disgusting and I don't like it's texture, but damn, It has been so long (?) since she doesn't do something like this. I go on with the play trying to drive her passion in the right way/...

    15. The House of Berevity (Lucid)

      by , 10-29-2014 at 01:56 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I was at work, and a man with black hair and a foreign accent came up and asked me where just plain loaves of bread were. I went to go point out the ones against the wall, but...they weren't there. I got very disoriented, not sure where I was anymore. I then told him aisle 13 had other bread on it. He said it didn't. I said that it did and walked a little ways to see if I could see aisle 13, but...it wasn't there either. It looked more like I was in a mall than the bakery. He went towards the area aisle 13 was supposed to be.

I thought for a minute...I was really confused. I then realized I was dreaming. Doh. Makes sense now. The dream around me started to change; I could see another scene peeking through the top right corner of my vision. I then was somewhere completely different. I was outside a large castle that had a forest around it. I was then inside said castle. The stone was blue steel colored. It wasn't smooth, but it was natural looking stone. I was standing by a spiral staircase that went upwards.

In front of me, there was then a man, a big, older man wearing a suit. He told me I was in "The House of Berevity" (he may have meant 'brevity', but he pronounced it 'berevity', I'm not entirely sure). He then was telling me why I was there, and I can't remember what he said, because a question popped up in my head that I wanted to ask. I then asked
      "How old am I?"
He seemed a little irritated that I interrupted him, but answered anyway, saying something about 'young', but that's the only word I caught, so I interrupted again and asked
"No, like how old am I?", referring to my soul, not my body, though I didn't specify.
      he answered,
      "Eight billion, seven hundred trillion."
      I liked that answer.

I wish I could recall more of the conversation. There was a reason I was there, but I can't recall what he told me. I feel as if we were walking up the staircase as we talked, or if not, we somehow ended up in the middle of it by the time our conversation was ending.

We were then about to part ways. He started to go up the stairs even more, when I asked him
"Wait! How do I forgive myself?"
He turned back around and looked at me, smiled a genuine smile, and said
      "You already have!"
I laughed out loud to express my joy. I was so happy to hear that!

I then woke up briefly, didn't move and went back into a dream. It stayed in blackness for awhile while someone was talking me through it so I wouldn't wake myself prematurely. I then started to have images forming around me, then the dream. I was good now. I started to walk around, feeling something that was there so I could stabalize the dream. I then noticed that I was in a field. It was daytime. I started to walk towards a patch of different colored African violets. There were some black ones, some yellow ones, and I believe some purple ones. I was afraid of being stung by bees at first, but then remembered that it was a dream, and I would be fine. I walked through them, feeling them brush against me, completely unharmed; no bees in sights. I kept walking through the field of flowers and started to weep because it was so beautiful.

I woke up briefly again, feeling as if I really had been crying, but again didn't move and went back into a dream.

This time, I was standing on the edge of a very high cliff. It was daytime and so vivid. Below me was nothing but clouds. I could tell there was a very high wind. To my right, poking through the clouds was a building with columns. Out from the building, there were hundreds of balloons flying out. There were huge patches of them, and then only a few at a time would come out. They were all red, orange, yellow, and black. I decided to try flying into this. I stood at the edge of the cliff, scared at first, but reminded myself that, again, this was a dream, and even if I fell quickly and to my "death", I'd be fine. I put my arms out and let myself fall off the edge. I fell for a bit, but the wind caught me, and I flew.

      ~

Sorry I haven't been around much. I have other things that I am currently focusing on, and need a break from concentrating on and writing out all my dreams. I have actually had some vivid NLDs lately. I also dreamed more last night, but did not want to type out all the NLDs. This one was a must share. I'll be on occasionally still if I have dreams that are interesting like these were (it will probably mostly be LDs when I have them that I will update with).
