Memorable Dreams
Nice character died There was an adventure beforehand. While I and a group of other people were fleeing from monsters that shoot some form of projectile, he was hit and immediately killed. I sort of got sad as if he was a character from a movie that died, thinking that it's sad that they didn't continue on with his story. The character might not have been human. Disastrous tree portal There was something about entering a portal through a tree. It's sort of like a certain tree, where you do a certain thing with the bark and it opens, letting you go in and freefall into a different world of some sort. It appears it is like a trap, as I end up in a weird abandoned building, with strange lighting. It's like it's always dusk outside, the yellow light leading up the ghostly and dark hallways. It feels like the home of somebody who has died. All lights are off, and it seems like somebody just abruptly left. Everything seems like a still-life painting, with things laying around as if they were just about to be used. It's totally silent. I walk through the corridor, which is located on the second floor and on the east side of the building and is pretty narrow. On the right side are the aforementioned windows, and to the left are several doors. Suddenly, some sort of woman appears. Cut to some sort of video clip, showing several catastrophes, such as a rollercoaster accident. In the end, it always zooms into the face of the first person who dies, just a second before it happens, showing their scared, screaming faces. At some point, I am in a sort of white void, with a single patch of forest as a representation of the tree portal and the area around it. There is some sort of large person about it, about 4 meters in height. He is male, and I seem to trust and know him. He gives me advice on how to get back into the normal world. Cut back to the corridor. There is a woman there, I know she is a demon, presumably from the advice I got. I hide in a cupboard of sorts, or maybe behind a door that was set down in the corridor, but she finds me. Quickly, I think about the weak points of the human body, but I don't remember. Then, shortly after, I see a knife right of me on a window sill. I quickly grab it and ram it into the heart of the woman, but she just laughs, so I ram it into her stomach and then, finally, I slit her throat and then I ram it in her throat. Then, she is dead.
Another nap dream I was at a hotel where we were filming, kind of resembled the Hilton Hotel in the south of Amsterdam, I can't recall exactly what I did in the dream again but for some reason, the security guards stationed in the small building across the hotel couldn't stop laughing at me after something I did. The film crew had finished the scene and got on the bus to move locations, they left without me. So I walked all the way to the next location. The street I was running at resembled the busy street behind the neighbourhood I was born, as I kept running the location randomly went from that street into an alleyway from what seemed to be some sort of theme park castle. In the castle, there was an Elvis Presley impersonator working who was annoyed with me as I had to go down the stairs next to him, but he started jamming on his guitar and a large crowd of people slowly went down the stairs step by step while bumping on the rhythm of the guitar. I lost my patience and slid down the stairs via the railing where I exited through a window. I tried getting back into the building through other windows, but they were all too narrow for me to fit in. When I was finally able to enter one of the windows, I ended up in a storage space for a theme park. It had a bunch of decorations and animatronics stored on there behind security bars. As I was walking through the storage space, I was completely visible to the outside public of the theme park, so I tried running back to the window but made the grave mistake of looking back if anybody saw me, and suddenly I hear police sirens and notice on a large monitor that there was a news report playing that showed live camera footage describing me as a "fugitive without a face mask" and I was so scared that I pretty much forced myself to wake up as I was hoping this was all a dream, and relieved when I did wake up.
I was in an open area that had incredibly rich color. I realized that I was dreaming and recalled that it had been a long time since I was lucid. I was very aware of the dream, and it immediately felt far more stable than my usual lucid dreams. The scenery was also far richer than I am used to. I was in a wide open field with bright bold grass on flat green hills, like a digital place. The single tree next to me had very green leaves and red apples, but nothing had texture to it. Everything was more like a surface mesh made of triangles. I was astounded by it and took note of how lucid I was, how stable it was, and how fantastic the perceptual experience was. I was enjoying perusing around this weird digital mesh world for about two minutes until all of a sudden another character showed up. A building appeared, it was a school, and we walked in together right before the dream ended.
The other night I had this dream it started off I was on a bus. I don't remember where I was going but it looked like part of the town next to me for the program. But for some reason it was like it was coming from Toronto instead. I think I was thinking if the program wasn't open yet I would hit Tim Horton's on the corner for an Ice Drink. But then it kind of goes into this mall. I think I went an esclator and at this point or at the bottom of the escalator someone I haven't seen since March 2020 from the day-program. Anyway for some reason in her hand is a napkin, serviette (ie normally something you wipe your face with after eating messy things) and on it was some very messy (ie the drumsticks were very runny) chicken drumsticks. She offers me some and I think I said no but somehow by this time we were like outside like in one of those areas that were around in either Disney Parks or Universal Parks where there were places for like eatting purposes during Covid. Anyway this friend from the program and I were going through this sort of "Food court patio area" and she could get pass. But when I tried to get pass two girls who looked familiar to me (maybe schoolmates of mine, and they both had blonde hair) had the same chairs out so far back-to back I couldn't get pass and then they didn't seem to hear me until I literally yelled and then they finally pulled back in (the two weren't even talking to each other). And then somehow the next thing I know I was in what looked like the program building but wasn't. And outside of this sort of half door one of the facilitators(In normal times, during the programs I have let's just say a complicated relationship with this particular facilitator). She told me to talkl to them I don't remember what said but all of them were drinking from mugs (and one of them I think had an Hogwarts mug while another had a winnie-the pooh one). Anwya for some reason as the dream ended I for some reason stick my hand in my pocked and bring out a former runny but now sticky chicken drumstick. And then dream ended right there
I've been having some quite strange dreams lately, last nights was no exception. I was spending the day with a little person version of The Rock, and we were going to watch a wrestling match. We go in, and get settled into our seats. The arena was lit up with tons of lights, and the ring was a very pristine white. Cue the music, and- T-pain. Of course, it was also a little person version of T-pain. He is speaking into the microphone looking for a challenger, when my friend Little The Rock launches into the ring, and lands in a splits. It was so bizarre I woke up.
I'm not going to add this to my count as this wasn't a proper LD but man... This is the sort of thing I want to talk about but no one seems to understand or relate to. My LD count has been low lately. Probably most due to my horrible sleep schedule and busy life right now. Not sure it will ever slow down. Given what happened last night, I might just need a bit more focus and some regular WBTB to over come my dry spell. Anyway, once again, it was within the first 30-60 min of sleep. I found myself in a familiar dream state where I struggle to move. It wasn't long until I realize I was transitioning to OBE/dream state. At some point I just laugh out loud. My voice sounded hoarse and strange. I say, "Ok. I give up." I relax and then things get so amazingly trippy its hard to describe. Of course, I get the usual vibrations but just in my arms and hands this time. My body begins to have a floating sensation and I drift around a jumbled up visual field. I try to let the dream form but as it does I keep getting visual overlays of random things (shapes and textures) and I cant seem to get my body to grip to anything solid. The entire time I have audio distortions very similar to the times that I used to trip on mushrooms. There was a deep, wet, squishy, liquid sound with high pitch tones going up and down. Very cool, familiar and trippy. It's all so hard to describe but I really enjoy the hell out of this kind of thing and it all happened naturally. Unfortunately, it only lasted about a minute or two before I woke up but I'm glad I was able to remember it so clearly. By the way this so of thing has been happening off and on for a few months. Mostly they are junk dreams, or pre dreams, early stages of sleep that I become aware in. Most of them are not that interesting. I should probably start trying to wake back to bed and take advantage or whatever is going on with me lately. Maybe it's just mild sleep deprivation and nothing really special...
Talking about my health It's night, and I'm laying in bed. Someone whom I don't remember is laying in a bed somewhere in the room. We're sending each other messages in the form of newspapers we write with magic, possibly with a wand. We tell each other about our health, apparently. Towards the end he says something along the lines of "You shouldn't complain so much" and that makes me mad, so I just go to sleep, possibly after a remark from my side. - I transiently wake up, and, after a minute, I go back to sleep. - Harry Potter-ish lucid I am around the street where I live. I see teenagers, behaving somewhat like Ron and Hermione, and I go to them. Suddenly we're in a sort of organization, and we walk behind a house, where we're hidden, and we practice magical spells. I say that I'd especially like to practice forbidden spells (I seem to refer to forbidden in Hogwarts), which the characters behaving like Ron and Hermione seem to like. Small scene change, I'm now walking away from that practice area with the characters I'll just call Ron and Hermione now, for convenience. I spontaneously become lucid. I think for a moment of what to do, and I decide to grow dragon wings since I've always wanted to experience flight. I tell them to watch what I can do, and I try to grow the wings, focusing. But it doesn't work, so I just remark: "Hm, doesn't work..." Scene change. Semi-lucid now. We're in a classroom, apparently in Hogwarts. There's an old, grumpy-looking woman who's the teacher. I'm sitting next to Ron. He says we're getting tests now, and as he says that, the teacher puts a piece of paper on each of our sides of the desk. Still semi-lucid, I decide to do the test. When she gave everyone a test, she says we should start, and I take out a pen. Now lucidity is gone. I talk for a while with Ron, not noticing I should work on the test. As the teacher walks by, I quickly take my test and try to look as if I'm working, and the teacher seems to simply ignore the fact that my test is empty, despite having had 5 minutes of time to work on it. I try to work on the first task, which is to rearrange a given set of letters magically into a specified sentence. I try to think really hard and see if I can remember the spell, but I don't, so I reluctantly put my hand up to ask the teacher. She comes over to me, and I tell her I don't remember the spell. She simply says that one surely wouldn't need more than a pen to finish this test, in a sort of humiliating way. I don't really care that she tried to humiliate me, but more about the fact that it seems pretty incompetent that she doesn't even know her own test. So, I just look around the class, and I spot a boy constantly farting, and the boy behind him clearly not enjoying that, putting his head down on his desk in anguish. That second dream was nice, just a spontaneous DILD. Just annoying my dream control didn't work, and that I forgot about stabilization and increasing lucidity. The farting boy clearly represented my totally mature classmates in real life, although the boy was a bit closer to the age where one would usually be expected to do something as immature as that.
The environment is dark colored and I'm with a party of grown ups. I'm able to choose a companion that will help me out and I scroll through the selections. They are all grey looking and pretty boring but with different shapes. One is formed as an egg, one is a bit scary, one is looking very tired. I look at about 15 of them until I am interupted. A party member's zombie is eating her up. The zombie is streching its mouth really much so that the whole head fits in its mouth. I'm in my brother's bed and I'm sick. Every time I breathe out a green round rubbery candy with white powder on it rolls out. Some older people from the last dream walks in. They are telling me I have some kind of disease and they seem a bit disgusted. I taste one of the candies and they are pretty good. Notes: I hid in my brother's bed yesterday. I notice it's a dream and fly up. I hit a cloud wall and fly through it. I keep on flying and hit another cloud wall. I keep on flying and see the third cloud wall but the dream becomes unstable and I can't remain.

Date of Dream: SUN 25 OCT - 2020 Dream No. 766 - Fiddly Hospital Gown The dream started in an unknown outdoor area, with two girls from unfamiliar video games talking to Riku. I didn’t know who one girl was at all, but I thought that perhaps the other one could have been Shiki from TWEWY. For the first scenes, Riku was in his KH3 appearance. Later in the scene, there are many groups of two girls with a video game character. Characters I remember seeing were Mario, Link, and of course Riku; there were many others but I couldn’t identify them. Towards the end of the first scene is where I came in to be able to be a part of my own dream. There was a hologram showing me who was participating in the story at the moment and giving me the option to switch characters (between Riku and Sora), I decided to keep going with Riku and so two girls continued to interact with him. It was almost at the tail end of the scene that I felt it would be easy to get Riku in this dream. And so onto the next scene, I started calling for him. The next scene was playing in the backyard of my house as I was walking down the incline while continuing to call for Riku. My voice seemed to be a bit quiet at times but I was able to control it and get it to a reasonable volume that I thought I would be heard at. At the bottom of the incline, in-front of the music room, Riku appeared in his KH-DDD (15yo) appearance, but I have forgotten our first interaction. The scene did transition to my ‘fortress’ (a repeating reference to an environment I used in my childhood fictional stories) but Riku left as he didn’t think I needed him anymore. As I wondered around the corridors of the fortress, I thought to myself, ‘since it’s easy to get Riku this time, is there anything else we can use him for?’. I then looked over to the corridor leading to the hospital and agreed with myself that I could have him take me for elevator practise again. It was then that I went into the corridor myself but was shuddering at the sight of the four elevator doors, all placed next to each other. As I walked out of the corridor again, I called for Riku; but he wasn’t coming straight away. At the end of the corridor I was walking down, I saw my dad in an office, behind a tinted window. Apparently he heard me calling for Riku as he pointed to the right, signalling to me that Riku was in another office that was identical to his but just a bit further down. And indeed as I got to Riku’s office and called him, Riku himself (KH-DDD 15yo appearance again) signalled for me to wait and that he would join me soon. I went back and thought I’d wait near the elevators, but after looking at them again, I changed my mind. Walking backwards again, I was hoping to be put out of my misery and thankfully I was met with Riku now coming towards me. As we stopped to talk, I told him that we were in the hospital area, and so to put on a hospital gown, just for general safety and precautions. He slipped on a blue gown with three buttons and a tie string to close the back. He looked like he was struggling to close the gown as he asked me for help. The buttons weren’t too bad to do up, but the tie string was very flimsy and even though I was being very careful, I almost broke it by the time I had tied it successfully. I then still had to put my gown on but Riku couldn’t help me as he was the unfamiliarised visitor; however, I managed to catch the attention of a ‘staff member’ walking by and he was happy to help me close my gown, doing it quicker that what I did with Riku’s. Riku and I were then ready to go as he carefully escorted me towards the elevators. I shivered as Riku pressed the central button and we waited for one to open. The second one out of four did, Riku coming to put his arms around me as he took me in (now not in our hospital gowns anymore though). As always, I perched my head off his shoulder as I tried to get a grip on my fear. Weirdly, the inside of the elevator was nothing but four sides of empty, white plastered walls, just looking like the empty room of a house. I saw the elevator numbers going up to 14, and so I wondered why… I had no idea what floor Riku was going to select when we went in at the start. He told me he selected a floor that would help me get a reasonable amount of exposure; so he evidently selected the top floor. As the elevator was still ascending with him holding me, I woke up. Date of Dream: FRI 23 OCT - 2020 Dream No. 765 - The Special Cobbled Pathway I can’t remember much about this dream. From where I can remember, I cannot recall the purpose for me having to take a certain route through an area. Either I was getting away from someone, trying to find someone, or get somewhere through this detour. As I closed my eyes, I noticed each of my dream guides coming in a sequence to help me. First of all was Dreamy WB as she hugged me and escorted me (both of us walking across the cobbled pathway). Next was 18-Volt who picked me up (and hugged me in a way while doing so) and lifted me over this massive barrier. Riku was last, and he picked me up to carry me to the end but I could tell he was struggling with gravity. I can’t remember anything else about this dream. Dream No. 765 Dream Guide: Dreamy WB, 18-Volt & Riku Lucid?: No
Talking to my mother I was talking to my mother, possibly about a vacuum cleaner. Ghost leviathans: the return My father is watching a video about Subnautica on the living room TV. Once it ends, he clicks on a second video, and the title alarms me to the fact that it might be about ghost leviathans. He starts by flying from the sky down to the water, like with the freecam command. Then he's playing normally and swimming at the top with a seaglide. Then he swims down and I repeatedly tell my father to pause since I with my thallassophobia don't quite enjoy it. He pauses it in the last second before a ghost leviathan would've appeared. Buying dogs I am in a supermarket with my mother, and we see a basket of pugs being sold. We decide to buy them. Then we are at home, which is apparently a farm, built in a weird area right in the middle of the border of 4 or more biomes. There also seem to be some strange temporal and general anomalies in reality. Then I am going to sleep, and on my way, I see that two of the pugs have lied down together on my mother's legs, and I wonder if that can even be comfortable. It also seems we just recently moved, since I felt a bit uncomfortable sleeping there. The next day, I see an old woman sitting on a clearly very old and abandoned swing, on a moderately large, totally overgrown field of grass. There might have also been a seesaw made of solid wood, which has by now totally rotten. I don't know what happened in between, but now she's awake. She tells me she's supposed to have been in a coma for 20 years, and that I apparently woke her up 10 years too early. I tell her that I'll put her back in a coma and that it will feel like only 5 seconds have passed, and so I do that.
Bizarre but nice adventure-like dream It starts out on the view of a sort of maze-like structure. It appears to be floating in a pitch-black, destructive void, and only anything within the maze is safe. The colors within are weird, it's like everything you can see is just something like digital edge detection, where only some edges are white or dimly colored, and everything else is just pitch black. The geometry is also unstable, and it appears that sometimes, if you walk into a wall, you just go through it and disappear into the void, so you have to try to just stay on the paths. At some point, I appear to be on a wall, and it's paper-thin, yet unbreakably hard. Then I am at a door within the maze, and it's the only part where there is any normal color and geometry. It's blue and decorated with what appears to be runes or some sort of other symbols. It's like the door in Snowdin from Undertale, where one can fight Glyde. Then I am there with a friend, and it appears we can find treastures behind it, but there is some danger associated with it. We have a sort of key and as we approach it, a sort of cutscene plays where it just swings open, with only blackness shown behind it. Then we're behind it, and it looks like Waterfall from Undertale, but the layout is totally unrelated. We're walking through lots of water in a narrow and rather linear tunnel, with the colors being the usual from Waterfall: blue-purplish walls, blue water. I'm in a sort of 2D view, and I see that, behind the walls bounding the tunnel, there is only that same void that was outside of the maze. We walk along it, my friend being quite a bit faster than me, and at some point, we find a wooden chest with gold lining and open it. Out of it seems to jump some type of items, only one of which I really saw, which was a sort of long, white and modern looking gun. I imagine using it, and it appears that this is now related to Terraria, as I think about fighting a Terraria boss with it. I try to pick it up by walking against it, but it only responds by sliding away, so I try to "press a button" (not sure how or what actually happened when I tried it). I don't know if I managed to pick it up in the end, but my friend alarms me of the fact that we might be chased by something. I get really anxious, and my friend responds the same, so we run away towards the maze as fast as possible, now in a 3D view, with things being sort of translated to a Minecraft-like look, along with how I and my friend look. I find that double-pressing "W" makes me run (and gives me an effect sort of like the Hermes boots from Terraria) and I manage to run faster than my friend. Wow. That was some great recall. The dream also had a strange feeling associated with it, especially in the dim, empty tunnel. It's like it was too silent, and there was just something wrong or missing, which evoked this scared but interesting feeling.
Seeing as I cannot maintain a self-imposed schedule for more than a couple days at a time, I have decided to move onto a new format. Because adding the number of days I missed to the day counter takes too long and actually requires me to use my brain (Or a calculator). I will post a new 'log' whenever I feel like, just to make things easier on myself. The dream counter will stay the same however. Fell asleep at: 2:00 PM Woke up at: 3:15 PM Dream 121: Magical Mutant Madhouse I'm in a place resembling the interior of the Spencer Mansion from RE1 mixed with a cheap Rio Grande Valley home. The lighting is both yellow and white, presumably coming from different sources. The dream is in the first person, and I believe that I'm actually playing Resident Evil 8, and that I can pause the game, save, and load a previous save whenever I can. I "spawn" in what I believe is the entrance of the house. An L-shaped counter towers over me as I crouch down behind it. A dog is prowling around behind me, and a whole bunch of crazy mutated residents (A la RE7) are wandering around in front of me. I believe that this spawn point is needlessly unfair and try to reload the save numerous times. On one of these attempts I try to sneak around the evil residents when one of them, the mother (Resembling Lady Dimitrescu AKA 'tall vampire lady') spots me. I manage to reload the save before I die. On my final attempt, I decide to just bum rush my way towards a steel door to the rightmost corner of the room. I accidentally tumble into one of the Lady's daughters (None of the family members resemble the characters from the game, by the way), a college age girl with a black t-shirt and long black hair. As she falls forward, I see that she "melts" into a puddle of gray goo as she hits the ground, and I nearly fall face-first into the puddle. I assume that this is her "power." Behind me, another one of the Lady's daughters uses what I assume to be magic to 'hulk up' as she notices my presence. I pick myself up and keep running whilst crouched as she barrels towards me. I manage to open the steel door and shut it behind me, locking it from my side. Before I say anything, I spot three more young women behind me, huddled around a steel desk (In fact, everything in these corridors seems to be made of steel). They seem to be talking amongst each other about the other members of their family. I hurriedly sneak past them, further heading into the unlit steel hallways. I take a left, and as I reach the end of this hallway, a mysterious person grabs and restrains me from behind. They claim that they're going to set the both of us on fire using the two exposed wires in their hand. I struggle and try to turn the sparking wires back on my assailant, while also trying to reload my save (Apparently, in the dream, reloading saves is a manual process, and having both my arms restrained was interfering with the process). My attacker manages to set my jacket sleeve on fire, which I shove into their face, managing to break free of the grab. I turn the wires back on them, and they are now completely wreathed in flame. I barrel through the door leading outside. I immediately throw my jacket off and lock the door behind me, and only then do I notice I'm on the roof of the building. It looks like the roof of a school or office, not a house or a castle. The sky is cloudy and pouring rain. I find myself walking up a spiral staircase leading to another roof while being accompanied by two police officers. I explain to them what happened in the house. I get an overpowering sense of dread, as I'm being reminded of Ethan Winters' interactions with the police during RE7. A while after getting to the roof of yet another building, open another door, and we see that we are inside of a schoolyard. It is here where I see a kid expend purple energy whilst throwing a baseball to another kid. I panic as I think the kid is another one of those psychotic magical mutants, and that he was going to murder the other kid. The other kid catches the ball, though, and continues playing. I ponder this, "Why is this kid not a raging psychopath like the other 'Magic Mutants?' Maybe not ALL of them are evil after all." I then turn to my right and see an already bulky guy in a tight red shirt and white shorts 'hulk up', and charge towards me. Just great. I nonchalantly walk into the gym (using the same door we used to get in the schoolyard, for the record) and see another kid use purple energy to throw baseballs. Then the dream ends. Spencer Mansion Interior: From the PS1 version because, as I said, the mansion in my dream looked incredibly cheap. Schoolyard: I swear the courtyard from my dream looked almost exactly like this, although not quite as JPEG-y.
Harry Potter once again I am on a broom with someone. We're flying around this rural and foggy area, and it appears lord Voldemort is chasing us. I act as a guide, and it appears this is a video-game-but-not again, and I tell the other guy on the broom that he should use the neon rocket ability thing from inFamous: Second Son (the R1 button thing for neon) and aim at Voldemort's head. He seems to be pretty bad at aiming and I get annoyed by him not just firing at certain points at which he could've hit. The environment seems to be like the area where a tunnel in Just Cause 3 is, where you fly your first wingsuit course, but, instead of the tunnel, it's just a road on a cliffside, on which there is nothing to tunnel through. There's also a bridge above some sort of foggy mudflat, being devoured by the tide. It looks like the golden gate bridge, just way smaller and the colors quite desaturated. Around the bridge, I told the guy with me to fire the rockets. I also had the Second Son UI pop up as he tried to do that. This game includes so many different things from media that I probably have to hope it doesn't get copyrighted. And why Harry Potter again? This is also a rare occurrence of dream characters actually existing, and even behaving like they're human. But good that I've managed to recall this that much.
Sunday is my WILD night. 10:35 five minutes WBTB, then WILD attempt but I wasn’t in the right mindset, I had problems with both concentrating and falling asleep. After some time, I went to sleep normally (setting the intent for watching for the dream and my favourite “if I see something = dream”) but had problems falling asleep. Non-lucid I am running from someone, I think it’s my brother, but I don’t remember why. I try to be smart - choose a different direction than he expects and changing direction often. I am running through some town, keeping my pace. Then I get to some kind of club, I am in a room and there are people. They are hanging six persons, they all already have the rope around their neck and they are told the sentence. I think they are traitors. But in the last second, the execution is stopped and they let them go, it is like a learning experience for them. I really like the club. They meet every week and I think I want to visit again next week to become a member. They leave and I am alone in the room. There is a huge duvet, filling a large part of the room. My brother appears and I try to hide in the corner, behind the duvet. He can see only the top of my head but he notices. I try to tell him something and I tell him about that club. Then there is a woman on a mattress. I don’t know why but I think she’s evil. Getting lucid I suddenly notice that I am doing something, seeing something and not trying to fall asleep anymore. Obviously, I am already sleeping and dreaming. And I can see that this isn’t some shaky half-dream, this is perfectly stable. Time to have fun. I want to leave the club room but the evil woman is still there, holding my hand and preventing me from leaving. With my other hand, I reach behind me, like trying to reach for something that could be used as a weapon. I can’t see anything in my hand but I try anyway and stab her. It works, she looks hit and in pain, holding her stomach. To be sure, I stab her again (and it works again, although slightly less this time) and I leave the room, entering a corridor. I go down the corridor, I walk very quickly, much more quickly than humanly possible. I don’t worry about the stability of the dream at all but when things get slightly blurry from my speed, I slow down and touch the wall. I notice that I wear gloves and can’t feel much but it doesn’t matter. Doing magic The corridor gets wider and I want to do my goal - magic. I want to do two spells, inspired by the books I am reading at the moment. For the first spell, I use the word “Lux” and a simple gesture with my hand, it should result in a werelight hovering above my palm. I try it for the first time but I still have the gloves, so I take them off. I try for the second time, nothing, for the third and fourth time, nothing. I remember that the hero in my book had to practice this for a long time, I probably just need more practice too. For the second spell, I try “Impello” which is basically telekinesis. I use it on a small ball and it levitates approx. one meter above the ground. I realize I have to use my willpower to keep it floating and to guide it, it isn’t just the word and the gesture. More magic and Jedi mind control I have a memory gap here. I took everything too quickly, locations shifted quickly and I don’t remember all details. I remember trying the impello spell again. This time, I shouted the word and focused on the gesture with my hand. I moved a ball (or something else, bigger?) up, then to a side, and then I lost control or overdid it a bit and it flew with a great speed maybe twenty or thirty metres from me, falling on the heads of some DCs. I found it funny. I guess I need more practice with this too. I also remember trying some Jedi mind control and the moving the hand thing on some DC but I don’t remember why. He said “these tricks” but did what I wanted. Flying I am on the stairs of my school and I think I could fly, maybe jumping from the top landing. But I am not sure. Then I am in a large hall, it is a mall or a marketplace with a roof. I want to jump from somewhere but all higher spots and the upper floor with a gallery are not accessible. So I try the superman style, with my hand up. It works and I can touch the ceiling but then I look down and it’s like in those cartoons, I am looking down for a second or two and then I start falling. I fall on my legs and partially on my hands too, cushioning the fall, the impact is a little bit hard but ok. I try again but this time it’s different, it’s like I am teleported to the ceiling and I levitate there like no gravity exists and I can examine a chipboard tile in the ceiling. I can remove it but decide to stop damaging the building and get back down on the floor - I am there instantly. I am not sure how much time I have left but I suppress the thought. Surely, I have plenty of time. No reason to think otherwise. Passing through a wall… or a gate The next goal on my list is passing through a wall. I don’t like the walls around but there are big doors, more like a gate and it is closed. Good enough. I try to pass through the gate and I can feel its solidity. I tell myself “there is no wall… or gate” and continue the movement. I don’t pass through but the gate opens like it was never closed and I am on the other side. Eating There is another hall, this time with many small shops and stalls. I am running out of ideas on what to do… I know, I want to eat some food. I go around the stalls but it’s all just clothing. Then there is a table with packages of tights or some underwear and among them jars of pickled gherkins. I casually open one of the jars (a woman DC with a kid, standing nearby, throws an offended look at me but I don’t care) and take the longest gherkin. I continue to walk and bite a piece of the gherkin. It tastes as it should but it’s also weird, like eating a gherkin first thing in the morning, just after brushing your teeth. Very sour and somewhat off, I don’t like it. I want to find something better. There is a small shop with vegetables. I walk in, seeing some carrots (small, raw, and dirty) and potatoes. It is very small there, there’s a fat middle aged woman shopkeeper, a counter and space for maybe two people. I can see they have some salads behind the counter and I decide to get some. I remember the discussion I recently read online about “can I get” vs “may I have” and choose the proper version “May I have a small salad” (in English, which isn’t my native language but I use it in dreams often because I live in an English-speaking country). The shopkeeper nods and asks me something which I have problems understanding. She wants to know if I want something else. I say “No, just the salad.” She asks if I want ketchup with it. I say “maybe some dressing” but this time, she doesn’t understand me, so I say “just the salad”. While she is putting grated carrot and something else into a small plastic cup, I notice there are some cakes too. I would prefer them over the salad but too late. A big fat man appears behind me and I don’t like it because he blocks my exit and my plan to take the salad and leave without paying could fail. The shopkeeper puts the cup on the counter and asks for money. I know I don’t have any but try to find some in my pocket anyway. Nothing. I want to leave but the shopkeeper and the fat man are angry. The vegetable in the cup changes into water with red sugar and starts to boil. I know I am doing this but it wasn’t my intention to do it. It’s like my magic has got out of control because I am in an uncomfortable situation. I squeeze around the fat man and I tell them that they should be grateful to me for showing them such an interesting magic trick. They are confused. I walk out and wake up. My heart is racing.
