    1. Hibiscus at Burning Man

This video was posted the night before this dream on reddit.
It got me really curious about Burning Man and I read up on it before going to bed.

      I'm driving home.
I decide to take the country road, which I love.
It's nearly always empty and is full of corners with very good visibility.
In other words it's quite safe to drive really fast, and you barely ever go over the speed limit doing so.

A village is coming up so I attempt to slow down, but something is wrong.
      The brakes are fading... badly!
I'm going downhill struggling to stop, the brakes aren't biting.
I enter the village quite a bit too fast but manage to come to a full stop after quite some distance.

What happened? I haven't had any brake fading since I changed to aftermarket brakes, and I wasn't even pushing them that hard.
Plus brakes don't just loose all their bite that quickly, they would have gradually started fading.
I get out of the car to check on the brakes and the pads are quite literally on fire.

No way... I try to recall if I was racing, but even if I was this couldn't possibly happen.
I get back in the car still trying to remember my driving, and start driving slowly to cool the brakes down.
I can't seem to recall my driving at all.

And then it hits me. I'm dreaming!
I immediately remember Burning Man and decide to go there.
I close my eyes, and imagine myself walking on the Playa.
Why did I close my eyes? I can teleport with my wings, this seems unsafe.

I open my eyes and find myself already at Burning Man.

      "Huh... that was easy..."

I notice a woman in front of me, staring at me quite intensely.

"No, it wasn't. I brought you here."

      Interesting.
I scan her aura to see if it is Faye messing with me, but I quickly realize it is not her.
It's the "hibiscus girl": Another mysterious woman / Emotional and sensory overload - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
The last two times she was wearing clothes with a hibiscus drawn on them, but this time she's wearing the actual flower behind one of her ears.

      "Well... hello there."
      "Come!"

She grabs my hand and drags me away.
She blinks the both of us a considerable distance ahead, and we end up in a location where people have set up all sorts of art pieces.

      "Beautiful, isn't it?"

I investigate all the pieces carefully.
They are very different from each other, but every one is beautiful in its own individual way.
There's everything from over-sized mechanical spiders shooting flames to tiny crystal sculptures.

She grabs my hand again, and gives me this look that clearly states that she is in control.
This is the second time she just dragged me into another dream.
I don't really mind, because I find her very interesting, and her presence is... quite arousing.
She's extremely attractive and quite sensual.
      I'm drawn towards her.
But I sill feel the need to be at least partially in control of what is going on.

"We're going to climb that sculpture"

She points at a tubular structure.
I resist the dragging and she looks at me.
I stare deeply into her eyes and grab strongly onto her arm.

"No, we're not. We're going dancing."

I smile, and pull her to a new location through my eyes, the way she has done it to me before.
I get us into some sort of club they have constructed here.
There's a center pillar giving support to a huge tent.
We stand on a small platform attached to it, a few meters above the ground.
There's neon-lights everywhere, in all kinds of colors, lighting the place up.
Some follow the rhythm of the music.
They are playing vocal trance. (A bit like this starting at 2:30)

The girl is visibly surprised that I just dragged her here.

      "Dance with me!"

She's unsure for a second but then smiles.

      "Sure"

She leans her back against me and we dance slowly to the very atmospheric music.
I really enjoy it. She smells very nice... it reminds me of lavender.
She brushes through my hair with her fingers... I wish I had such good hair in waking life.
The flashing of the lights turns my vision slightly blurry.
She turns around and closes here eyes.
She moves in for a kiss, and it's absolutely magnificent.
      I feel full of energy.

I can feel how much she is enjoying this.
      But then something startles her.
She looks at her hands and starts fading away.
She manages to look at me one last time before she completely disappears.

I decide that she must have woken up, how unfortunate.
My vision is blurry as well, I need to get out of here and stabilize.

I teleport outside where it is dusk now.
I rub my hands vigorously to stabilize the dream.

I walk along a path with more sculptures on both sides.
I meet many people, all very different from each other.
They're all extremely nice, everyone is smiling and says hi.
I wonder if Burning Man is anything like this in waking life.

Some guy explains to me how to build these tubular structures and I end up helping him extend one of his sculptures.

    2. 01/25/2012 - "With Friends Like These..."

      "With Friends Like These..."

      http://www.dreamviews.com/blogs/onei...e-these-30065/
I was with a group of old friends, and a couple of people I don't recognize. I know JS and MA were there (old friends of mine - a failed couple), and it was weird to see them all buddy/buddy again. We were at someone's home, and one blonde girl in the group had been crying about something. Obviously something of a private issue, we'd gone into one of the rooms and she was telling me about what was going on, while I tried to console her. She leaned into me and I put an arm around her, just as some of our friends appeared in the doorway. Suddenly, one of the other girls in the group (though I can't remember who) seemed to get really jealous of the (completely innocent) attention I was giving this girl. She said something under her breath, like "oh, she's good..." turned around and walked off.

Later, we were all in some enormous mansion. Walking around, exploring the place, I had become slightly lucid. I specifically remember telling a couple of the girls to remember that this was a dream, in the off chance that they would remind me, should I forget. After some time, we found out that there were these huge guys in black coats walking around this mansion, who looked like Mr. X from the Resident Evil series. They were lumbering juggernauts, and were kind of creepy, in the way they just wandered about aimlessly. I ended up getting into a fight with one of them, in a hallway, where I did something of a 'fade-away' Hadouken blast, turning around while in motion and sliding backward, away from the monster, while shooting the beam of blue energy at him. While doing this, I happened to notice that I could see my reflection in the metal face of one of the double doors I'd just dashed through, surrounded by blue light as a fired away at him. I remember thinking about how it was such an amazing little detail that my mind threw in there.

After doing some more exploring, it was revealed that this mansion was owned by a coven of vampires, who were attacking us around every other corner. I remember a small vampire boy biting me on the hand, but I sort of 'fortified' my hand by will, causing him to be unable to penetrate my skin with his fangs. A few more skirmishes followed, which I was handling without too much trouble, but I began to notice that the people in my group were starting to come up missing, one by one. Soon, it was just me. Curious as to just what might have happened to everyone, I set out on a search for them, eventually losing my lucidity.

There was some kind of transition here, and I felt like I was just coming back to the mansion, after some extended period. The entire house was now covered in ice and snow. Some rooms and wings were completely shut off, as if it hadn't been lived in for decades. I was still searching for my friends, though, climbing through these icy corridors and removing blockades from places where it seemed no one had tread for ages.

Finally, I walked into a large courtyard of sorts, enclosed in glass - something between an 'inside' and an 'outside' type of room, if that makes any sense - kind of an upscale back patio. It was very elegant, as was everything else in the mansion, and looked like it might be some aristocrat's den - There was well over a dozen vampires in here, and they were all just milling about, doing their own thing. A few of the males were sparring, and I then looked over toward a set of tables and chairs, seeing some of the females lounging around in white bathrobes. This looked more like a resort than a coven of vampires. It was then that I noticed that I recognized some of the females. They were the missing girls from my group. They seemed to recognize me at the same time. Immediately, I was lucid again, and I walked over to them, getting a few less-then-welcome glares from some of the other vamps in the room. The girls sauntered sexily up to me, smiling invitingly. They began telling me about great their new vamp lifestyles were, trying to seduce me into becoming 'one of them.' Even though I was aware that I was dreaming, I couldn't help but feel betrayed by them, as I had been really enjoying their company, earlier in the dream, and they'd just left me to search for them by myself. They tried to put me on a guilt trip for declining their offer to stay there with them as a vampire, but I told them that they were the ones at fault, for choosing to stay behind, and that I was gonna just go my own way for the rest of the dream. (Funny that, even though I was aware that it was a dream, I felt so betrayed by their having been lounging around here with the vamps while I wasted half of my dream searching for them. Lol.)

Inevitably, as these girls began to make me out to be the bad guy in this, the other vamps began circling in around me. Finally, the head vampire gave the order to have me killed. An enormous, absolutely insane fight ensued, where I took on this entire courtyard of vampires at once. (The action felt a lot like in the game Arkham Asylum, which I had been playing lately.) Everyone was basically just coming in at once and I had to pull off sick combos to take them all out, moving from opponent to opponent fluidly, cutting through their numbers so quick that they barely had time to gain any sort of upper-hand. During the fight, while near the large fireplace at the head of the room, I caught sight of a small box sitting atop the mantle. Showing a little ingenuity, I stuck my hand in the box, willing it to contain a bunch of stakes and other weapons, which I immediately used in battle, taking out the gang of undead attackers and causing the head vampire to finally take his shot against me. This dude was huge (and reminded me of Kingpin from the Daredevil movie). He swooped in toward me and, in a defensive reflex, I manifested a pistol into my hand, barely having enough time to swing the barrel up and shoot him in the leg, before he was standing directly in front of me. The shot obviously did nothing to him, and I was actually somewhat emboldened by his resilience. I remember muttering something to him like "Oh...a tough guy, eh?" We then had a short hand-to-hand battle. I don't remember much of it, but I know that I completely out-classed him. The very last thing I remember from the fight is grabbing him by the back of the head and shoving his face into the glass enclosure around the room, spider-webbing the glass with a loud crack. I don't remember actually killing him, though.

The girls had stayed out of the fight, but were still obviously pissed at me. I was more than satisfied with the dream, though, and fearing I would forget many of the details, I told them that I was leaving them to go back to the real world, and that they could just stay 'down here' and be pissed, for all I care, traitorous bitches that they were. Lol.

The very last thing I recall was looking out into the night, through the glass wall, and seeing some underwater lights moving around in a pond or pool, just outside, as if there were two people scuba-diving, out there in the winter cold. I then woke myself up.

    3. Harry Potter, Love Triangles, Fire Goddesses ... and a Lot of Other Crazy Stuff

      by , 02-15-2012 at 01:20 PM
Wow, one of the most detailed dreams I’ve had in a while…

It’s one of those dreams where it’s like, I’m kind of watching it but I’m sort of a part of it also. I don’t know, it’s confusing. So, I’m supposedly watching a Harry Potter movie or something. There’s some part where Harry Potter is standing on this big stone wall and looking around, and he’s talking with this guy in a yellow raincoat. But that seems to be the only part that’s actually about Harry Potter.

Then it switches to some subplot about some love triangle thing. Like, there’s this goddess lady and her husband is cheating on her with this other lady. So like, the three of them are in a bunk bed. The goddess is sitting on the bottom bunk, while her husband is making out with his girlfriend on the top bunk. So, the goddess lady gets super pissed and catches the house on fire with her mind powers. And her husband is all like, “Oh no! My beautiful mansion!” And she’s like, “I’m going to burn this whole house down unless you come down here right now and make sweet love to me!” And he’s like, “Uh … no.” Then he and his girlfriend jump out of the top bunk and run away.

The goddess lady is very angry about this and jumps out of her bed, too, and starts chasing them. I’m chasing after them, I guess, but I’m not really a part of the story. The goddess also has a younger sister apparently, and she starts running around with all of them, too. She has this magical glowing purple dress, and it’s the only way they can all find their way around in the dark. So, I’m going after them but then I lose track of them and go into some random room, where I run into Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. And somehow I know that the house is full of “Alice in Wonderland” characters, and that they were supposed to be kept in captivity but now the goddess lady has freed them all. So, it’s absolute mayhem and whatnot.

I run out of the room and across the hall to this other room, and go inside. At this point the dream seems to change plots or something. Basically, there are all these people in the room throwing toys at each other. The whole floor is absolutely covered in toys. And somehow, I know I’m supposed to join in. So, I go to one side of the room and start throwing toys at the people on the opposite side of the room. I’m standing behind this dollhouse for protection, but it falls down. Then I find this plastic Pegasus toy, which I used to have when I was younger. Just like in real life, its wings are always falling off. Only the dream version of the toy is much more complicated and the wings have like, multiple parts. And I can’t find all the parts to put it back together again.

Maybe another dream? Or just another part? I’m at this My Little Pony fan club, and I have this miniature figure of Sweetie Belle that I’m playing with. I’m sitting at a table with some other girls and we’re all talking about the ponies and which ones are our favorites, etc. We get into a conversation about some robot pony that doesn’t actually exist on the real show… (I knew it was only a matter of time before I started having My Little Pony dreams.)

Another part, or another dream maybe … I go into my grandparents’ house while they’re on vacation. I go upstairs and open the attic door. I notice that the stairs are suddenly different; they’ve been replaced with this blue, spiraling staircase. And I’m like, “Huh, that’s new.” Well, then I call upstairs for their cat, because I know she likes to hang out up there. I hear her meowing and she comes running eagerly down the stairs. I pick her up and start petting her, and I take her downstairs to the first floor.

When I get downstairs, I find that my grandparents have gotten back from their vacation and are sitting in the living room. My uncle is with them. He starts this conversation with me about all these stupid books he’s been reading. But I haven’t read any of them so I’m just like, “Uh huh…”

Then I have to go, so I go outside. I step right onto my college campus. I realize I have to go pick up a package, so I head towards the mail room. But, then I realize I don’t have my wallet, which has my I.D. card and other such important things in it. And I figure I must have left it in my grandparents’ house, so I try to go back there.

And, that’s all I can remember.
    4. 2-13-2012

      by , 02-15-2012 at 07:28 AM
It was late at night and I was driving to someone’s house in Seattle. I wasn’t exactly sure who the person was or why I was going there but I felt nervous about it. I pulled over, got out of my car, and had to walk down a dark street where darker alley ways and bums polluted my path. When I got to the house I walked through the back door. I made a straight line through the house all the way to the front door. On my way I witnessed a murder but pretended as though I wasn’t bothered by what I saw so that I too wouldn’t get killed. As I made my way to the front deck a man gave me an object with brick like dimensions that appeared to be tightly packed in a black garbage bag like substance. It was obvious what I was being handed. It was a ginormous brick of cocaine. I was given an address and told that I was to deliver that brick there. I quickly agreed and walked off. Curiosity got the best of me and I opened it a little to “taste test” it. A bum me and what I possessed. I put the brick in my black purse and began walking very quickly to my car up the hill. The bum was now chasing me. He got to me and tried to yank the bag out of my hands. I pulled the bag right back and began yelling at neighboring people to help, shouting things like “this bum is trying to steal my bag!!” Some people came and helped. I ran to a bus. It was now light outside. I hopped on the bus and so did the bum. We fought for the bag again but I won and the men on the bus helped. Everyone, including the bus driver, was on my side. I sat on a seat alone. The bus driver was pulling down a famous dock that seemed to wiggle as you drove and this made the passengers nervous. We all laughed. The bus driver noticed that police had been fallowing them since I got on the bus. I assured the bus driver that it must have been because of the bum and the driver agreed. I grew nervous. At one point on the dock I looked out and navy ships, several squad cars, and police helicopters were all waiting for the bus to pull over. I began “magically” breaking up the brick into smaller bags and stuffing them into my bra and underpants. I told the driver to let me off at the next stop but to keep the bum on for a few stops after me so that he didn’t try to rob me again. The dream cuts to a scene of the man who handed me the brick talking to some of his associates. He apparently set me up to see if I could handle myself well. If so, he was going to make me his mule. I was very angry about this. Dream cuts to a scene later. I have broken out of prison and blaise is with me. There is a puppy in prison too but he dies from a radiation related injury and I am incredibly sad for the little dog.

    5. Worlds Collide

      by
      Hyu
      , 02-15-2012 at 02:19 AM (Hyu's Adventures)
It's been quite some time since my last DJ post.
I'll try to be more active on DV again, and I'll probably post some of the dreams I had during my absence.

Random music for no good reason:

The day before this dream I had surgery on my foot.
Nothing serious, but I still needed a massive bandage and pain meds for the healing process.
This made it rather uncomfortable to sleep, and sure enough, after just ~6 hours of sleep I woke up.

The pain wasn't bad as long as I didn't move... however that's exactly what I wanted to do.
I must have slept in an awkward position because my left leg (where I've gotten surgery on) was very tired.
I didn't want to move though, because I knew it would hurt.
The pain meds were on my desk where I left them, out of reach without getting up.

I just wanted to go back to sleep, but it just didn't seem to work.
The strain on my left leg kept me awake, just barely... I kept drifting in and out of consciousness.
This was coupled with random thoughts that didn't make much sense.

I kept trying though, and after some time, in a brief moment of clarity, I noticed that I was feeling vibrations all over my body.
I knew this feeling all too well, because it happens quite often when I attempt to WILD.
I haven't done that in a while, but for some reason I thought that because of this I could now transition into a dream.
      (I wasn't really thinking clearly)

I try to levitate out of bed as a means to separate my dream body from my physical body.
At this point I can clearly feel the existence of both.
It seems like the stronger the vibrations, the less I feel my physical body.
Attempting to levitate seems safer to do, because I don't run the risk of moving my physical body.

I slowly start to drift upwards.
There is no more gravity and the blanket is gone.
I land on my bed and start rubbing my hands in fear of loosing the dream.
It is only then that I realize that I've just cheated my way into sleeping... sort of... well not really, but I'm asleep, that's all that counts.
I check my foot and it's all normal. No bandages, nothing.

It's rather dark. I was hoping rubbing my hands would fix this, but it didn't.
I flick the light switch in my room, but nothing happens.
Meh, would have been too easy.
Afraid to see myself in bed I leave by jumping out of the window.
(Seeing myself makes me uncomfortable and has woken me up in the past.)

I land softly and walk into the street in the hopes of the dream being lit up by the streetlights.
      But it doesn't help.
I don't want to wake up, I want to stay asleep as long as possible.
This is why I'm afraid to try spinning, or use other techniques to change the scene... if I fail I could wake up.

      I rub my hands again.
      "Oh come-on, work already!"
      It doesn't.

I try to make it rain with my mind, thinking it won't work because the dream is unstable. (dark)
But for some reason it does.
I feel the rain drops on my skin, and as the feeling becomes more intense, the dream finally becomes properly lit.

(Rain has been an amazing tool to keep my dreams stable in the past. The constant feeling of raindrops keeps my senses focused in the dream)

I decide to slowly walk through the street and see if I find something interesting.
I'm too afraid to attempt to teleport somewhere else. If I mess it up and wake up there's no way I'll be able to fall back asleep.

Suddenly, I realize that I have changed location.
I am now in Germany, in front of a friends house.
      How did that happen?

My friend C. comes out of the house.
      "Can't sleep either huh?"

It's weird hearing him speak perfect English. We talk German with each-other in waking life.

"What are you talking about? You're not making any sense, this is a dream."

He looks confused but shrugs it off.

"I have to show you something, follow me."

I follow him into his room where he points at his tv.
There's a newscast... something about another dimension merging with our's.
It's rather confusing. It quickly becomes apparent that it's about the dream plane though.
It is merging with the waking world.

This confuses the hell out of me, I'm fully aware I'm dreaming, but the whole situation is built around being awake.
Then I spot Faye on the couch. She makes me a sign to stay quiet, not to tell that I know about the dream plane.

"Can you believe this? This is so weird! Do you have any idea what this is?"
"Ehhh, haha, yeah... it is weird, isn't it?"

Probably the most unconvincing thing I've said in my entire life.
I wonder why Faye wants me to stay quiet about this...

... I am now at the location where the tv broadcast is occurring.
It's in some sort of park, I don't think I know this place.
There's some sort of spatial disturbance in the air, and I can see spirits from the dream plane trying to cross over.
It's a rather surreal experience. (at this point I actually believe that this is really happening.)
I try to spot Yuya on the other side in the hopes that she can cross over but I can't find her.

My friend is there again, rambling a bunch of nonsense... that we're all going to die among other things.

Spirits are now crossing over and materialize on our side. Some politicians have appeared and are greeting them,
and welcoming them into our world.
Other people are protesting the situation, waving signs with the word "Spirit" crossed out.

      "HEY!"
      "Faye!... What?"
      "Snap out of it!"

The scene freezes, except for Faye and myself.
She grabs my hand and drags me away.

I realize that I drifted out of lucidity.

"I thought you were trying to stay asleep, what the hell are you doing?"
"Err... yeah. I nearly lost it there."
      " "nearly" huh? "

We arrive at some sort of cafe and we stop at a table.
Faye looks like she's about to scold me.

"I know, I know... constant awareness."
      "That's right."
"But it's difficult right now, I have an injury in the other life."
      "Excuses!"
      "Maybe..."

A waiter brings us a coffee and Faye hands it to me.

      "Drink! This will help."

I drink the coffee and it feels like the caffeine rushes directly into my head.
I am now thinking clearly and my vision is perfectly fine even though it's still night.

I walk down the street with Faye and we talk about a few things.
She's trying to keep me asleep.
After some time I realize a minor oddity.

"So... technically I'm talking to myself right now eh?"
"I've told you before, it's quite a bit more complicated than that."
"That's quite an understatement. I know you've tried to explain it before, but I still don't really get it."
"You have a good idea, that's enough."
"But I want to know more."
"You don't understand every detail of the universe either, yet it doesn't prevent you from living in it just fine."
"It doesn't prevent me from trying to understand every last detail of it either."

      She smiles.

The street abruptly ends. There's nothing but darkness behind it.
I turn around. Darkness is catching up with us, there's maybe another 10 meters of street left.

      "End of the line Hyu."
"Aww, I don't want to wake up."
"It's alright, you've been asleep for a long time, it's nearly time to get up anyways."

That makes me feel a lot better.

      "Bye bye, Hyunkell-san"
I reply in a funny way:
      "Goodbye, dreamguide-o-saaan"

She sticks her tongue out in a cute way and laughs.

I wake up. It's been over 7 hours since I went to bed, so I decide to get up.
To my surprise, moving my foot doesn't hurt nearly as a bad as I thought it would.

Me and a group of male people from my place of education were all dressed in military clothing and we was inside some kind of flying vehicle. One of them said something about an attractive woman and there were these weird flashes of where I live. A part of the vehicle opened up and we had to jump. I woke up before then.
    7. Floating above the Earth and getting yanked back into my body.

by , 02-14-2012 at 11:13 PM (Chronicles of the Cosmos)
I remember having a dream where I was floating above the Earth without my body and I could see in panorama! As a matter of fact, I was able to see FAR better than I could while in my body and wearing glasses....... I was almost out of Earth's orbit when I got scared because I didn't know anything about space or where to go--and it felt cold. Then something yanked me ALL THE WAY back down to Earth, through the roof of my apartment, and smack dab into my body which was sleeping in bed. It fkn hurt! It really did.... I awoke immediately and I still felt the tingling sensations in my palms, fingers, legs, etc. from slamming into my body. It took a few minutes for the sensations to go away completely. I'm surprised it didn't kill me, lol.....

    8. 2nd Lucid Dream Feb 13, 2012

      by , 02-14-2012 at 09:43 PM
I am in a classroom on a bed listening to a class discussion about historical figures, in English class. The people in the class are acting normal for the most part. The area I am in is a cubic room, very bright, and with a light design all around of a flowery decor. I go to the bed in the class and at first think of going to my dream journal, which isn't there. This is my first sign that I may be in a dream, so I plug my nose and instantly realize that I'm in a dream at this moment due to the breath I am still able to take through my nose. Suddenly my body is lifted up and I feel and hear the shock of electricity and thunder through and within my body. The dream is now very blurry and I feel sick (maybe because I have a cold in real life). I try to keep calm this time because I don't want the dream to end quickly like last time. I find this very difficult. I look around the room and it's the same room as before, but the people are now gone. I look and see instead the imprints of shadows sitting around me, I hear a faint static and thunder all around me, with these shadows only barely in my sight. I decide to do the spin around technique to try to add some clarity to the images around me. I felt indecisive over whether I wanted to change locations or just make the dream clearer. So the class becomes a bit clearer and brighter but only for a moment, then I am back in darkness. At this point the only light is a blue almost ethereal light as though the lightning is spinning around the room, engulfing it. I stumble towards the exit of the room. The door at the exit of this cubic room is a metallic dark green door with a bronze handle, it's size is rather normal. As I reach for the handle I hear a loud echo in the darkness reverberate through my body with a clear easily understood message. "Not everything is as it appears", the message brings another thunderous boom of static through my body. As I look out of the room, I see a corridor, almost as dark as the room I was previously in. I am now both very excited and incredibly scared at what I may see in this corridor, especially after the message that nearly shattered me. As I look around the desolate corridor, my focus is fading. I don't see anything frightening, but the message and feelings of electricity were definitely enough...I wake up, half paralyzed, with my heart pounding in a flurry. Still a very cool experience
    9. Hijacked House Party, Crazy Food Fight, Exploring The New House

      by , 02-14-2012 at 07:02 PM
I'm on a roll with lucids lately! This night turned out to be more interesting than I had anticipated. (Not that I suppose I ever expect certain things out of my dreams....) I smoked a bowl of wormwood before going to bed so I'm sure that helped, though it's hard to say because I've never used it before. But anyway, on with the dreams!

      #1 - Hijacked House Party

The dream starts with my parents and I having moved into some enormous new house that looks like only extremely rich people could possibly live there. There was a good amount of time in-dream spent with me wandering around the house checking things out, but most of it I don't remember other than sliding around the floor in one room because it had a smooth wooden flooring (like a school gym or something?) and two gigantic TVs, one on each side. I saw my dad walking around in the room next to me and overheard that my mom was going somewhere and saw them go outside, so I went outside through the other door in the room I was in (there were two front doors right next to each other ) to say goodbye to her. After she drives off I walk back inside to find that there's a party going on with loads of people over. :O I walk around and go to one corner of the room where some people are talking about a new Pokémon game pre-release. There are a bunch of (imaginary) Pokémon games on the floor and I point out that the one they're talking about now being "pre"-released I've already had for a long time, as well as a bunch of these other games. They just brush me off and keep talking, and I pick up one of the games and pull a Game Boy Advance out of thin air and put it in. I believe it was at this point I became lucid, it's hard to remember exactly (but I'll get to that). I'm walking around the party watching the game load up and laughing because it's happening so terribly, it doesn't even remotely work correctly. Eventually I just drop the GBA out of my line of sight, never to be seen again, and start focusing on my surroundings. I tried to stabilize by looking at a table with an interesting oak pattern on it and touching it to see how real it felt. After that I started listening in on conversations and heard that the party was being thrown by this girl D who I went to high school with. I decide to shift the attention to myself so I change everyone's perception of me to D (I don't think there was any actual shapeshifting involved accept maybe some clothes switching, everyone just suddenly saw me as her) and they all started complimenting me on having such a great party. (This actually made me sad when I woke up because she died of a drug overdose not that long ago, but I didn't remember it in the dream.... ) After that I woke up.

Or so I thought. I'm in bed in the middle of the night and I still have the perception that my house is the huge rich house we moved into, but my room seems otherwise normal. I open up my phone to start typing up notes about the dream but music keeps mysteriously turning on and getting louder each time so I have to get up and turn it off or it'll wake up my parents. Whenever I would get up I would notice there were a bunch of strange things and gadgets in my room that were not normally there, like a camera aimed directly at my bed. However, of course, it didn't clue me in to anything and I brushed it off. -.- Then I actually woke up, cursing myself for not doing RCs whenever I wake up, and almost entirely forgetting the dream. Luckily I managed to get it back, obviously, but it's still kind of faint in my memory.

      #2 - Crazy Food Fight

This one I remember less of, just some key details. There was some kid trying to take over the world, we found him in a bank where we broke into a vault and discovered a restaurant in it. We sat down and started eating with him, but then it broke out into a food fight, then a fight where we were just throwing anything we could find, then half way down the line it turned into a third-person view of a really crazy Dragon Ball Z fight. The kid had both of his legs blown off, but he pressed some button that allowed him to escape and left Goku and Vegeta to train for several years while they awaited his return.

I have no idea where that came from, I never watched Dragon Ball Z and I haven't even thought about it in at least months.

#3 - Exploring The New House

I'm back in the new house we moved into from the first dream and I'm exploring it some more. I remember this one sort of in snippets. First I in my parents' bedroom at night and my mom was sleeping, and we discovered that there was a family of teacup pigs that lived in that bedroom. They were so cute!! Next was during the day some time and we were having a close friends and family party. Still in my parents' bedroom, Hammond Druthers from How I Met Your Mother (Bryan Cranston! ) couldn't stop marveling at how amazing the bed was. I walked out into the kitchen and found a cat who was apparently left by the previous owner, Lady Gaga. (We're living in Lady Gaga's house!! ) The cat was fat but cuddly and loving, he didn't mind that I just held him for a long time. :3 In a rare case of me actually remembering other senses from non-lucid dreams, I can distinctly recall how fluffy he felt. Though it did disturb me a bit that we seemed to have left our old cats (one of whom is actually not with us anymore in real life) behind at our old house too. :\ I went and found my dad to talk to him about it and some kids kept following us everywhere and making it hard for us to have a private conversation, but we finally managed to ditch them. I don't remember what my dad said, but I think it revolved around us just leaving the cats behind. T-T Heartless! (Though I guess that's what Lady Gaga did, too. >_>) I went walking back out in the kitchen, which I'm pretty sure was a separate kitchen from before, and talked to some family members briefly before wandering down another new hallway. The kids from before followed me down there and tried to attack me! They had these Q-Tips that would apparently give you an ear infection if they were put inside your ear, and they were trying to use them on me. I managed to overpower them and stuck one inside both ears of the first kid and one of the second, then it became a third-person view of some kid named Crush, those two kids, and a couple other random kids. They were still in the hall but it became dark and trailed off into oblivion and apparently a portal to hell opened up. Everything went monochrome and the kids all started hanging on to these ancient-looking stone columns which had appeared on the walls of the hall to resist being pulled in. Demons were manifesting from the portal and reaching out toward them, but none of the kids seemed frightened except Crush. They all tried to get him to look at the demons and called him a scaredy cat when he wouldnt, but then finally one of the kids left to turn on the lights and it all disappeared. Next, the two kids who attacked me were sitting under a tent in front of an empty grave dug in sand on the beach of the jungle. Another kid with a tribal look and a heavy African accent emerged from the foliage and told them that they needed to get Crush and tell him to go to some area and do something (the details of which I've totally forgotten) so that he can complete his destiny. They begrudgingly agree to do it, but it seems like they may be plotting something against him because they clearly don't like him, and I think they blame him for the ear infection thing. After that I woke up.

What is going on with my mind and this jungle?? I need to get lucid in it again and explore it more fully.
    10. Second time calling out my Dream Guide.

by , 02-14-2012 at 06:23 PM (Chronicles of the Cosmos)
This dream was not as clear as my previous.

My dream started off with me fighting off strange creatures that I couldn't make out. I guess you could say they resembled little gremlins. I was on the roof top of a house and they were jumping up there trying to get to me. Anyways, that's not important. Then I realized that I was dreaming and called out for my dream guide. I called for them twice and then this guy appears out of nowhere right in front of me. He looked like he jumped through a wormhole or something, lol.

He was not much help at all. I told him to help me fight these things or give me a spaceship so I can get away. He said something along the lines of "that's beyond my ability." Bottom line--he was useless. And then one of those things, like a small gremlin, jumped on his shoulders and started asking him questions. They did not attack him but they continued to come after me. I was beginning to get better at fighting them off and that useless guy was only able to cheer me on.......

I think I lost faith in dream guides after what happened last night. Meh.

    11. back in the saddle

      by , 02-14-2012 at 06:02 PM
      2am
In a grocery line with various super villains. I am annoyed because they have to register what they buy and state the purpose of said Items.

      930am
It's my first day on the job at a diner. I'm standing around and waiting to start working. I ask a table if they if they want drinks and then notice that they already have drinks. So I ask if they are ready to order. One girl at the table says she'd like to order off the menu.

I tell her that she needs to manage her expectations.

At a second table a woman sitting alone orders Steak and Green Chilies and a Rice milk with Vanilla.

I tell the cook the orders and he gives me a menu to study.

      -
I'm going out to a club with R and JP. I am naked and have to borrow clothes. I call my wife and tell her that I probably won't be home tonight.

We ride to the club in a windowless white van. Once we get there I hang outside while they all go in. Suddenly a big rig truck comes and smashes into to the van and pushes it across the parking lot of a gas station before leaving it dangling over a guard rail by an overpass highway.

    12. Remembrance

      by , 02-14-2012 at 04:50 PM
So just a few minutes ago, a tornado siren went off, this caused me to remember a dream I had recently. I'm not sure how recent this dream was but for some reason I feel I must share it here. Normally whenever I dream of tornadoes it's the repetitive dream I had about them since I was a kid. But not this time, this time I was laying under a pile of debris which had come from the house I was in. This house was now being torn to pieces by this tornado. As I lay there under it, I felt the force of the wind, heard the screeching as it blew. I remember being trapped there for so long it this very vivid dream. Eventually the dream just ended.
    13. Oh you sneaky little bastard... (Milestone, 200th dream written down in physical dream journal)

      by , 02-14-2012 at 03:56 PM (Robo's Dreams)
I am on a search and rescue team with my family in the middle of a forest. they are in a lower areas and I am on an elevated part. I climb down a wooden wall-thing, and see a spider in the dead center. I feel a tinge of fear, but I hold on and keep climbing down.

we regroup, and are about to call it a day. I don't want to give up yet, I look inside myself, and feel the presence of someone in a southwesternly direction (assuming I am facing north.) everyone agrees to seach there and then call it a day, we head in that direction.

I am the last to arrive. one member of the group is calling on what seems like a cell phone. the missing person answers and says something like, "Be quiet! the spiders are fighting and it's getting good!" I tell him to count his fingers, he might be dreaming. he says he counts 11, is he dreaming? I tell him not to jump off the cliff, but he might be. try throwing some fire or something. he tries, but if he did, I didn't see it. I tell him to count again, he counts 12. I tell him I want to see this.

When we meet up, he is a bald midget with chubby fingers. I try to count his fingers, but he keeps waving them around in strange ways, and I can't keep focused on them. I tell him he must be lying, but then I start waking up. he shruggs, as if saying, "Tried to tell you" when I am almost awake, my first thought is a friendly, "Oh you little bastard..."

    14. A Couple of memorable dream fragments 120212

by , 02-13-2012 at 02:33 AM (My Wapped Dreamscape)
The first of these was a couple of nights ago on 10th February:
I remember being on a spaceship heading away from one of many planets, I knew the area was uninhabitable for some reason (black hole, antimatter or something). The next thing I remember was heading back towards the planet, feeling nervouse, with some sort of process in mind to make it habitable.
The next dream was last night 12 February:
I felt in a panic as I needed to get something important to a friend or work collegue. I was on the bus heading down the main Leeds road, trying to make sure I had everything only to realise that I'd left without putting any shoes on. Very concerned, I tried to work out if I had enough time or money for buying a pair before we were due to meet up. I decided not to and on turning up had to admit my ommission to which this person said not to worry, he had a pair that would fit. I felt sure they were too small but not wanting to contradict him I put them on, at which point I woke up.
    15. He spit on me ughhh

      by , 02-13-2012 at 01:19 AM (LMR's Mental Adventures)
This was my second lucid dream.
It began by me walking around talking to my cousin and I said this is a dream. I was telling him to try lucid dreaming and he refused. Then i told him that I could see the thread in his shirt and even read the tag on his shirt. Then for some reason a child spit on me and ran away. I ran after the child with my superspeed and then I sent an owl after his two friends while they were somewhere about to intervene with my need to punch him. When I caught him I punched him in the face because I knew it was a dream and because I could. When his friends came back, they said "oh my gosh we just got chased by a bird" and I said "yea I sent it" then my little brother chuckled.
