    1. Fear and Flight

by , 09-07-2015 at 11:07 PM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
I was in an area with other people. There's a haunted house. I think it's some sort of a challenge. The mode feels like Battle Royale. There's a haunted house. We were supposed to go in and last inside or defeat monsters. The first ones to enter soon ran out through various exits. I didn't have the courage to go in.

Then there was one guy who said he wants to go "up" the tower and challenge/defeat/outlast the monster there. I told him to be careful. After a while, I got worried, so I went in. I was afraid. I encountered a zombie-like creature in a hallway/dungeon and ran back out. It was a different place.

It was inside a mall. I felt a surge of energy. I ran forward, evading creatures, and used energy pushed out through my palms and feet to "fly" forward and slightly upward. I felt exhilarated.
    2. Vampire, short DILD

      by , 09-05-2015 at 08:39 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
My house have turned into a huge castle. I was inside it with my siblings. The living room has changed into throne room, and my brother was a king. He told me that I must leave, being banned by him from his kingdom. When going out of the house, the trapdoor to the attic opened, and someone jumped down, landing in front of me. It was a young female. She had red hair and she was wearing a blue dress. Looking at her face I saw that she is a vampire. I immediately ran back into throne room, and told everyone about the vampire. The king immediately ran after the vampire. I followed him outside. Everything got a film grain and browny shades. I saw my brother running after sister, and thought "Back in time?". I opened the doors to castle and went inside.

Suddenly I found myself in a city. It was a warm summer noon. I was in an alley surrounded by tall buildings. It was leading to train station. I recalled that I was in that city before. It was a city from dream "Siege", which I have visited at the date 2015-08-23. I have attained lucidity. I made a successful nose plug RC, and ran towards the train station. It was place near the sea. Having no idea what should I do, I decided to finally learn flying. As I started to fly, I had a weird feeling. It was like I felt gravity working upon my body. I thought about a good way to fly, and I've got an idea. Position of my legs was controlling the height of my fly. When I had the legs straight, I was flying forward, slowly loosing height. When I lowered my legs, I was flying up, and when I bended my knees I was flying down. I was also flopping my hands like a brid does with it's wings. I made a few barrel rolls, flips and other evolutions. The dream slowly started to fade away, and I have waked up.

    3. #208. Coastal GTA

by , 08-30-2015 at 04:11 PM (Things to Run Away From Really Fast)
My husband and I are hiking around a lake. The sky is blue blue blue and the colours are crisp and vibrant.

In the dream, this place is actually Medicine Hat with mountains (but in reality it's more like Kelowna.) I'm looking at the glaciers up in the mountains as they melt and shift and change, feeling the warm sun and the cool breeze on my skin.

We need to get back to the town, quickly, but we're partway across the lake. I'm trying to use my phone and Google Maps to figure out the fastest route back to the town. We may need to hitch a ride on a boat.

We're back in the town, and a friend, G, is helping us load supplies into a white Beetle. He's supposed to drive it a little ways, but instead he drives off with it.

That would only happen in a dream, right? Well, at least that makes dealing with this easy.

I lift off the ground and fly after the Beetle, wondering if car speed counts as flying at superspeed. I'm trying to use telekinesis to latch onto the car, but I end up peeling off the back bumper instead.
    4. LD: Bringing Tom DeLonge Back from the Dead

      by , 08-27-2015 at 05:45 PM
I had a short--but interesting-- lucid dream this morning.

I had done an unintentional Wake Back to Bed--meaning that I woke up at 2:45 and couldn't get back to sleep. I decided to use this to try for a lucid dream. I took me a while, but I finally drifted back to sleep, my mind thinking about lucid dreaming.

I remember being on a train, which seemed more like a roller coaster, as it winded up and down through a beautiful city. In the front of the Train I saw Tom DeLonge standing and entertaining the people around him. I don't remember what he was doing exactly, but people were laughing and enjoying it. I was envious that I wasn't closer. Finally the train stopped. I wanted to go on it again, but I was with a group of people that didn't want to. I reluctantly walked away.

The next thing I know is that I'm on this mountain. It was full of streams and waterfalls. It was pretty much like another amusement park ride. I was with my friend Sherri and were were slipping down these channels of water. We were having a good time. At one point I saw this area that I wanted to get to, but it was too high. I had somehow seen it from another angle and it was a beautiful blue pool. After more slipping and sliding, I again saw the area that had the blue pool. We were somehow above it now, but the only way in was to drop about 20 feet down a waterfall. We knew we couldn't do that so we turned around and came the way we went. We were shocked to find that that way also dropped steeply into a tall waterfall.

As we came to the edge, I grabbed a large rock that was jutting out. I caught us right before we would have plummeted below. I saw that the water below us was quite shallow, and that it would have injured us if we had fallen in that rocky shallow pool. As I clung to the rocks I wondered what I was supposed to do now. I couldn't go down, but there was no way to pull both of us upward at this point.

Before I got too panicked, I suddenly thought I might be dreaming. In that instant I knew that was true. I told Sherri that we were dreaming, and that I was going to let go, and we could fly.

I grabbed her around the waist just in case she couldn't fly. Even though this was a dream I wanted to take care of my friend. As I let go I started to fly up into the air, but then the weight of my friend started pulling me down. We gently fell back into the shallow pool below. I stood up. I told Sherri that she could fly if she wanted to. I started flying again.

I flew back to the top of the waterfall. I knew that if I followed the water back I would end up in that beautiful blue pool. I was really drawn to that area. I had to see it up close. I realized Sherri wasn't following me, but decided that it didn't matter.

I flew up and over the ridge and down the stream to where the blue pool was. I looked at it, soaking in its beauty. I then noticed in the water there looked to be a body. I had to pull it out. I dove down and grabbed it. The body was in an open box that reminded me of a coffin. I pulled both the body and the box out. I propped them up against a large rock.

Now that we were back out of the water I looked closer at the body. To my surprise, I saw that it was Tom DeLonge. His body lay, still, in the box. He was wearing a dark blue t-shirt with faded white writing on it and dark colored pants, and his brown hair was dripping down on his white face.

How could this be? Tom couldn't be dead. But I reminded myself that this was a dream. I could bring him back to life.

I looked at his face again and concentrated. After a moment, I heard him suck in a breath of air. I felt a wave a relief. Then his eyes started to flutter open. He looked dazed for a minute, then focused on me. I waited.

Then, to my surprise, his arms reached out and grabbed me and pulled me against him. He pulled my face close and I felt his lips on mine as he started to kiss me. I couldn't help but kiss him back.

I briefly thought about breaking away from the kiss, so I could create my halo. I also thought that maybe Tom would like to see his halo as well. But, like how it is with most dream kisses, I was drifting into a deep bliss. I knew there was no way to stop it. All thoughts of doing anything else vanished, and I completely gave in to the kiss.

    5. Two lucids in one night, and control training with my dream guide

      by , 08-26-2015 at 01:33 PM (Mouka's Mind Palace)
      One:

So tonight I flew to the moon again. Sorta. I went lucid and decided if I focused mostly on my flying and strengthened that, it would help me in other areas. Since flying involves ki, as do the big attacks I want to learn. Like... how am I supposed to fire off a successful Solar Kamehameha if I can't even control my ki enough to fly? So yeah.

I aimed for the moon again and this time it was a bit more smooth of a flight, still sorta shakey, and as soon as I landed on it, I saw this huge asteroid floating just above it. It was totally going to hit the earth, and I guess I could've stopped it, but I didn't really care I guess? I mean, I'm hanging out with the bad guys trying to learn a move that can destroy a solar system, so the earth is doomed anyway.

There was a door there on the moon so instead of hanging around to see the asteroid, I went through the door. On the other side was a long hallway with glass windows everywhere, so I tried to summon up someone to tell me where I was. This girl with green hair and a billion face piercings showed up, and instead of talking to me, she took me into a room and kept trying to make out with me. I told her I didn't really float that way, and also that it was weird kissing someone with facial piercings. So she started taking them all off and that's when I nope'd outta there and ran back into the hall. Seru was hanging out out there and as soon as I saw him, he smiled and turned away and then flew off down the hall. So I took off after him. My flight was kind of shakey so I realized I was still controlling my flying and he wasn't, he was just sort of leading me on. I noticed he did help me with some other things, like floating through walls and stuff. He would fly around randomly and I flew after him, through walls, outside, inside, etc. I felt like he was testing out my flying abilities so far.

The last thing I remember, though probably the last thing that happened, was I pulled out of the glass windows in the hallway into the outside, and the hallway was kind of suspended in the air and I could smell the beach and hear water. That's when I woke up.

      Two:

Next dream started out non-lucid. There was a new Disney movie that was a crossover between Little Mermaid and Cinderella. Like they met and had adventures or something. I'd acquired an illegal bootleg of the movie from it's premiere before I came out in regular theaters and I got together with most all of my family and we sat around in a living room and watched it. The quality of the tape was really really poor and we were all disappointed and I was a little embarrassed I didn't check the tape beforehand. But we watched it anyway.

A few minutes in, the image on the TV became really clear and vivid, and there was a scene of Cinderella standing on the beach looking bored, and the camera panned over a long pier that ended at a platform with a boat and some people mulling about. This was not part of the movie. I looked around and all my family members were just frozen, like they stopped existing.

When I looked back to the TV, Seru was just standing there underwater, looking at me. And I suddenly became lucid again, but I couldn't control what I was doing, I just knew I was dreaming. I was pulled into the TV and down into the water, and I guess into his mind? I don't know, I just realized I wasn't in my own body, I was hanging out and seeing things in his first-person perspective, like I was just along for the ride. He sent me this weird questioning feeling, but I wasn't sure what he was trying to ask. He looked up and I saw we were directly below the platform. He shot through the water underneath the pier until he got halfway to the end, then he stopped and crouched down low and sent me another questioning feeling. I had this weird feeling like he was trying to fall into the background and suddenly I found myself in complete control. The questioning feeling he was giving me faded away and instead he seemed amused.

I was totally in control. I was totally Seru! I mean WHAT.

Well, I wasn't really him, he was still hanging out in there, but I still was in control of his body. Could a lucid dream get ANY COOLER than actually being a badass dude with infinite power and dream control? NO WAY.

I wanted to test out some of his abilities, not any of the destructive ones, but I wanted to see how he flew and how he teleported around. I thought to shoot up through the water into the air, but real-Seru kinda sent me a thought telling me not to get the attention of the people on the platform because they would be annoying and follow us. And he couldn't banish them since I was in control. So I continued along the bottom of the pier and the water grew more shallow until I was attempting to crawl along all sneaky. I thought I was far enough away so I shot up into the sky and hovered there. It felt AWESOME! Like, I didn't even struggle to hover there! Usually once I stop flying and stay still I fall, but I had DREAM GUIDE POWERS, heck yes!

I looked around. We were in some kind of small bay leading out into the ocean. On one side of the bay was a beach, and on the other was sheer cliff. The pier extended out from the beach to the cliffs. I smelled the beach and heard the water, and I realized that was where I was being led to by Seru before I woke up the first time. He totally invaded my non-lucid Disney dream and pulled me back there and gave me lucidity.

Wtf how is that even possible?

Anyway, apparently I wasn't far enough away because the guys on the platform started shouting and were running down the pier in my direction. Real-Seru felt annoyed but also amused. I took off over the cliffs, across some grasslands, getting my bearing on things. I felt a little weird at first, since I had wings there and I had to figure them out, but I noticed when I lifted them my flying was much more smooth. Like, super smooth. It was epic. In the middle of the grasslands was a log cabin-ish house. Real-Seru was focusing his attention on it, so I went down there and went inside.

In the entryway, I opened another door and saw what looked like the room I'd been in when I watched that Disney movie. He shot me another questioning feeling and an image of teleporting doors. Apparently trying to teach me some door teleportation... not something I've ever had any luck with. So I backed out of the room, closed the door, and reopened it. Nothing. He gave me an impatient feeling. I didn't focus enough. So I imagined being at a new place and opened the door again. IT TOTALLY WORKED. I was in some fancy room with a fireplace in a completely different house. I walked in and looked around at all the statuettes and furniture and kind of was amazed that my mind rendered this scene so quickly. It made me feel hope that I could teleport to a city if I wanted to.

He sent me an urging feeling like he wanted me to try that. But before I did, I noticed this cat on the table looking at me. Oh my god, it was SO CUTE. Like all its cute features were multiplied in cuteness by a hundred, and... I just wanted to hold the cat real quick haha. So I picked it up and cuddled it, and got a disapproving feeling from real-Seru. He probably just didn't like the idea of his body cuddling a kitten. I wish I could've seen it from third-person, it would've been hilarious.

Suddenly I heard people coming into the house, they were coming for me, the guys from the pier. Real-Seru was urging me toward the door, but I was so freaked out by the sudden change that I jumped out of the window and started flying, kitten in tow. SUPER annoyed feeling from real-Seru. He'd wanted me to teleport away using the door, me jumping out the window with a cat wasn't part of his "training", haha.

I held out the kitten while I flew and concentrated, and it disappeared. How did I do that? I have no idea. SERU POWERS.

My flying was still smooth. There was another building, it looked like a grocery store, and I figured I could go down there and find another door to mess with. I descended through the roof and landed in the refrigerated foods aisle, and all the shoppers freaked out screaming and ran away from me. At first I was confused, but then I remembered I was still Seru, so they probably assumed I was gonna eat them or something. I hovered, and then shot off down the aisles, testing out flying in small areas. It was a bit rough, I kept running into shelves and forgetting to keep my wings up for stabilization, and also people kept running away from wherever I was which was really distracting. Real-Seru was getting a huge kick out of it though, could feel how giddy he was. We got to a door, probably leading to a backroom or something, and he grabbed my attention and focused on it. I landed and walked up to it, totally ready to attempt a teleportation to a 'busy' scene, something I've never been able to do. I thought of a city and opened the door, and there it was!

I stepped into the scene. It was a quaint little city scene, with square buildings on each side and lots of people walking around. It was night and street lights were on. It looked like something out of a Leonid Afremov painting. As soon as the people saw me, they started running as well. Real-Seru was giving me this feeling like 'do whatever you want now, you teleported' so I jumped in the air and flew down the street, focusing on various things to change my heading. My attention kept falling to the people running around and each time I thought about them I'd shake a little in my flying, but overall I did awesomely. I woke up at some point as I was flying around.

    6. Ocean Walk Again

      by , 08-26-2015 at 08:18 AM
Morning of August 26, 2015. Wednesday.

Dreaming of walking on the surface of the ocean (or in some cases a lake or river), in both lucid and non-lucid dream segments, was more common when I was much younger.

In the first part of this dream, my family and I (as we are now) seem to be living in a large apartment building. It seems to be a very old building which has not been maintained by the owner and is seemingly in a larger city (possibly in America though this is not certain). There are a few other tenants but not any I recognize to any extent, other than getting an impression that Leonard S lives there, perhaps across the hall. I eventually falsely “remember” that we are also renting a small house somewhere in a less urban area (reason unknown - it may relate to either place being randomly problematic at certain times). There is a vague concern about having enough money to keep renting both places (in real life we have only done that in the process of moving and perhaps that is implied in my dream, though the back story is vague).

I am walking through the long hallway at one point and keep noticing, here and there, old hair ties of various darker and lighter colors; some thicker, some thinner and in various stages of wear; that had been dropped. (My hair is presently short so I do not use them for a ponytail, though my hair has usually been very long throughout my life.) The hallway also has a lot of dust and looks like it has not been swept for a long time. I decide to pick up some of the hair ties and also think about sweeping the area as there are also small bits of paper and other debris. When I am in the apartment though, I hear someone else sweeping and get the impression of an older lady starting to maintain some of her building for the first time in years for whatever reason. I also get the impression of dust somehow coming through the mopboard (skirting) area into our apartment though this does not concern me, especially as I vaguely realize that it would not be possible (ironic since I am flying after this).

Later on, I start flying around over various buildings with no particular destination in mind at first. Eventually, I come to the ocean. A huge creature that looks like an orca whale though much bigger emerges vertically from the water and remains upright and mostly unmoving (and is no threat). It does not seem to have any eyes or other features, only the smooth cylindrical body (slightly too long for a real whale). I cannot decide what it is. I still fly around in the area. I eventually walk around on the water near a large dock that borders a building. (I get a vague idea that I created the “unfinished” creature as well as bringing up small islands in the distance beyond, but these vague impressions are not reconciled, including with a subtle secondary unseen presence I am not sure about though I seem to be communicating with “her” somehow as I am flying around - though “she” seems to be everywhere and much larger than me somehow.)

In the last segment of my dream, I remember that many of my relatives have died, including Carol and Marilyn. However, I find myself with an unopened thick small plain envelope that was apparently sent to us by Marilyn just prior to her death. It dawns on me that (due to its atypical thickness for an otherwise ordinary letter) it may contain money, though that is not what I notice when I open it. I take out a large Japanese fan (that is then too large to have fit in the envelope though I do not consider this distortion) that is mostly white. At one point I get an impression that I can talk to her but only because time is quite distorted (and I am not sure where I am in time). It seems extraordinarily odd that people can cease to exist. It does not seem to make any sense of how this is possible, though vaguely, I am also aware of time being in “layers” where people still exist in certain layers and scenarios and I am trying to remember what “time layer” I am in and whether or not I can talk to or visit certain people.
    7. DILD and WILD, thanks SENSEI!

      by , 08-25-2015 at 07:11 PM
Fucking breakthrough!!! Pre wbtb DILD, post wbtb chain of WILDS. triggered by the sensei comp! I have 12 minutes of frickin audio notes to
      transcribe...

      Pre WBTB DILD

I'm on this gameshow and I can't figure out the point of it but I'm standing in a big black room where these different groups of people are doing weird superhuman feats. I wonder how they are happening. One person is like floating up in the air and their hands are glowing and they fall to the ground and everyone cheers. Everything is happy and exciting. It gets to my group and people are yelling at me "just feel it, just go with it, just do it!!"

I hear a big voice "TONY, YOU'RE GONNA FLY! YOU'RE GONNA TELEPORT!" I'm wondering, what's happening? There's a waterfall. Like a glowing waterfall. It's a waterfall of lucidity. I realize that the gameshow is Sensei's competiton and i'm watching other people have their turns. I step in the falls and i feel the power of lucidity wash over me but i don't have any control. People are yelling "GO WITH IT!" I can feel this power, this realization that i'm in a dream but i don't have any control. I want to look at my hands but i can't do anything. I step back and the feeling is gone for a second. I step back into the glowing waterfall and I'm thinking about sageous' book for a second and this rush comes over me and it's beautiful. I think about what i want to do in this situation and i start to leave the moment and I'm back in my body.

i had a WBTB and my daugter puked during my wild attempt. had to get that cleaned up and tried to go back and hold still but it took me an extra hour to fall asleep. I wilded right into my bedroom. i got heavy hands and flashes of pictures. For a while i saw a whipping pattern of light and some noise and i tried to make it into a dream but couldn't think of anything to dream.

      Wild, Remember, then flying.
From the wild I end up in my bedroom. I can tell that I’m dreaming because the room is very dim and unstable. I am rubbing my hands together. I have a very narrow strip of vision. I’m looking at my hands and nothing is clarifying. I look around and say out loud “I’m in my bed and I’m asleep” the room gets more clear after that. I walk to the wall and start rubbing the texture of the wall. I go through the hallway to the living room and go outside. I leap into the air and start flying, soaring over my neighborhood. I land on top of a neigbor’s house and I look in a window and it’s my bedroom! I’m reminded that I’m dreaming again and I run to the edge of the roof and jump and I’m flying. I think about how I can teleport and climb to the top of a building, like an office complex. Dream fades.
      School sex then battle!
In the hallway of a school like a Hogwarts, fancy boarding school and I see a pretty thin girl that looks like amy schumer. I remember that I'm lucid and my sex drive takes over. I ask her if she wants to come sleep with me. We walk through a door and it’s a bedroom and I start grinding on her. I tried to do thing where you start humping and it turns into sex but it doesn’t, it just stays dry humping. She’s wearing a pink tube top and has blonde hair. I never finish and I end up going back into the other room. I am lucidish during this.
In the other room it’s now a big combat hall like at the end of the karate kid. I’m fighting a guy and I have chi powers. I can lightly tap my opponent and he’ll fly across the room. He looks like captain lou albano, big fat guy with long stringy beard and rubber bands. He’s wearing a karate gi with a black belt tied around it.

      False Awakening
I’m talking to my friend ced after the dreams and I’m showing him my phone. Telling him that I’ve been having trouble LDing but now I’ve got dreams… “here’s 4 minutes worth, here’s 8 minutes worth.” He says, “wow, that’s great dude!”

    8. Escaping from the police

      by , 08-25-2015 at 08:30 AM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
I was in a desert city. I wanted to get back home, but I didn't knew the way, and for some reason, police was after me. I have stolen a car, and then I wanted to drive away, but I was stopped by the police barricade. I saw a motorcycle, moved out of car and drove on it away from the barricade. Suddenly the sand desert turned into a glacier. There was a ramp in front of me, and I drove over it, and flied in the air for long time.
    9. A dog attack, and flying to the moon

      by , 08-24-2015 at 06:02 PM (Mouka's Mind Palace)
I was living on some kind of farm area and there was a chain link fence between my house and the neighbor's. My dog Loki escaped from the house and went running over to the fence, and at the same time I saw the neighbor's two bigger dogs, like both retrievers or something, run over and snarl at her. Loki was just walking along obliviously while these two dogs tore at the fence to get to her, and for some reason I was stuck at the door and couldn't go running after her, so I was watching helplessly and screaming. The two dogs tore through the fence, one went through the middle and the other went under, and they attacked Loki and I could hear all her whimpering and I was just flipping out. The two dogs eventually backed off and I ran over and Loki was lying on the ground covered in blood with a huge gash on her belly, and I started crying because I thought she was dead, but I looked and her eyes were open slightly and she was breathing, and when I picked her up her tail wagged a little. So I rushed into the garage but the car was blocked by someone's car who was visiting the house, and I screamed for Cory so his friend moved the car and Cory and I got in our own car and drove off to the vet. I was sitting in the passenger seat with Loki all distraught. It took a long while to get there, and when we stopped Cory got out but we were at CULVER'S... he came back to the car with two pints of ice cream and I was like WTF! I woke up pretty shaken.

I had a lucid dream, I don't remember how I became lucid, but it happened while I was standing in a dark grassy field looking out over a starry night sky. I rubbed my hands together to stabilize myself and scanned the horizon for the moon. It was pretty low on the horizon and slightly covered by some dark trees, but as I looked at it, I thought "I wonder if I can still do that ki flying thing... aiming for the moon would be a huge success." So I did! I focused my attention on the moon as a goal and I jumped into the air, flying towards it. I almost fell at first, and kind of dropped to the ground a bit, but I ignored it and kept my focus on my goal, and soon I was flying at super human speeds with the moon growing bigger and bigger. The moon was coming up pretty fast, so I threw my legs forward so I could land on my feet and descended. The moon was pretty small... it was like the size of King Kai's planet. I wandered around and looked at all the craters, then sat down and ran my hands through the sandy ground. Moon dust! The stars in the sky were even more awesome on the moon. I noticed off to the side was a little deep cave, so I leaned over and thought it would be cool to have moon-people, so I cleared out a bunch of rocks and stuff blocking the entrance and I saw some movement inside. But then I woke up.

I was in some kind of school-type setting, with a bunch of other people, and this guy kept checking me out and starting hitting on me and stuff. When he came over, I leaned over and whispered to him that I was going to go in an empty room down the hall, and that he should come out five minutes later after me, so we could meet up without everyone in the class knowing what was going on. So we met up in the empty room and had sex. Right afterwards, all the other people decided to move to that empty room, so we had to gather ourselves really quickly and pretend like nothing happened.

There was a mini-dream I had when I dozed off, it just involved me picking up daddy long legs spiders and one of them kept biting me. I looked at him walking along my arm biting me over and over and I was just all "Why you gotta do me like this, bro?!" Bah.

    10. Flying Is What I Do

by , 08-15-2015 at 03:44 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #463 - DILD? 8:15AM -

Become lucid in a new dream scene and fly around. I see anderj101 and high five him. I then explore a place that I used to work and have fun breaking glass.
I wake after 4am and intend to get lucid as I return to sleep. There is a very vivid dream about a tarantula loose in my house. Its was too fast and bites me but I go back to get it from under a bed. I somehow sneak under a sheet and squash it when I see it's silhouette.

Later, I find myself on a hillside over looking a park and a lake. I step off into the air and glide across the area. I suddenly remember that I am dreaming and tell myself this is just what I do now [flying]. There is a young couple picnicking on a blanket below. I wave at them and expect them to be impressed that I am flying. They ignore me. Of course, why would they care? I turn, slowly gliding like I'm in creative mode in Minecraft, and see anderj101 gliding in a opposite direction. His body is in a crucifix position with a goofy grin on his face. I high five one of his out stretched hands as I pass by. I say, "Hey man! What's up?"
He doesn't reply, just continues to glide past like a Jesus figure. For some reason I think that I have been seeing him everywhere in my dreams. I laugh a little at his silliness and consider going after him to get him to talk to me. Something tells me this will crash the dream if I do. I very vaguely recall having been lucid just prior to this dream and my talking to DCs is what crashed it. I continue on as the dream turns dark anyway.

I make walking motions in the air and wonder why I am back to this again. It seem to think that I had just DEILDed, but I am not sure if this is true. I flap my arms and make more walking motions until I find myself hovering over a parking lot. It is now way harder to fly and I resort to hulk jumping. I pounce on several cars and notice a dream glitch where my position suddenly changes and I land on the pavement rather than the red truck I was about to smash. I hear Darlene from work yell at me and tell me to "throw away this magazine". I turn ato see her and several other co-workers at some picnic tables. I walk to her curious what she was talking about. Then, I notice the building. I say, "Hey! This is the old 13th street facility." I'm super curious to go in there after all this time and I forget about Darlene and her magazine.

As I enter the building, I worry about dream length. I tell myself that I really need hard set goals before bed or I'll just wander like this. I decide that if I try to make this super fun and interesting then I have nothing to worry about. The interior is totally remodelled and I am bummed that my dream is making stuff up. Then, I recall that Mercy Hospital owns this building now so maybe they would have remodelled in waking life. I become impressed with my subC for adding in the possibility.

I look around and see a lunch room with cubbie/cube storage and lunch boxes lined on top. It seems to be decorated with apples and rulers like an elementary school, but I totally ignore this. There is a large wall of small square panel glass that leads to a reception window to my left. I follow it, but no one is around. I really want to get to the other side so I start punching the squares of glass. I enjoy the feeling and sound of glass breaking and get really caught up in it. I soon wake up to the sound of my wife getting ready for work in the bathroom.

    11. Lucid Overdrive

      by , 08-14-2015 at 09:31 AM
Morning of August 14, 2015. Friday.

My dream starts in an unknown building which seems to be a two-storey halfway house for both troubled and homeless youths and adult recovering alcoholics. Richard B (have not seen him in over twenty years) is leaning out a window on the second floor and hammering nails into the outside of that window frame for weatherization and is being filmed for some sort of instructional video. (I am not sure why he is doing it from the inside rather than having a ladder set up on the outside; it would be more feasible, and in fact, to complete the job would be impossible from the inside.) I clean up a room fairly quickly and there is also some painting of at least one room going on.

At one point, I am lying on a mattress in a large room. I get the impression that my mother (deceased) has kept me awake all night from moving potted plants around and doing other things (such as preparing business letters), which is problematic, as I am too tired to get up and go to some sort of school event or other scheduled meeting (though I am aware it is near the last day of school). However, I am also aware that my going to this event is not necessary or I may be wrong with what I am thinking as I may not have to go after all.

Later, I seem to be about twenty years old or younger and am in a room where the house mother (a male that seems to be my foreman from my old Ford Taurus manufacturing job) is writing on a chalkboard. (A “house mother” is typically a strong stocky male that oversees a halfway house.) He has written on the chalkboard (in cursive handwriting) a message concerning about seven or eight new tenants. I read the writing and note that it starts with “Let us all welcome the new tenants, two of whom are from the Karaoke and Lansing tribes” and this is followed by about seven or eight surnames including mine being about the fourth one. I do not sharpen my focus to read all of it, so it is probably not relevant to remote viewing (although the term “Karaoke tribe” actually does exist, oddly enough - which is apparently a group of people who go around singing in various venues and based in La Mirada, California, which I had not known of previously).

Later, I am in the same room, but only one other tenant is present other than the house mother. I say fairly loudly and clearly, “I am going to test if this is a dream.” The two others do not seem to mind. I focus and, while standing, lift both my knees up and hover in the air, rising to the ceiling in eventually a standing position. “Well, it looks like this is a dream,” I say casually, and the two others nod, smile, and agree.

From here, we all fly out from the building through a window on the second floor. However, I fly too close to the building and bang the right side of my head on the eaves. It does not hurt that much, but I feel a strange vibration, like my head is a bell and has just been rung. I note that the others have flown off elsewhere.

When I fly around, I am astounded by the beauty and clear detail of the fictional setting. I then start to think, well, it is time for an outdoor romantic interlude. I fly down near an area where I notice a younger version of my wife in a turquoise bikini, though there are two young males around that may be her younger brothers, though they do not seem familiar otherwise (in other words, not resembling any of her real brothers). An older chubby lady keeps coming out of the house and going back in (and Zsuzsanna does a couple times as well). I am not sure why my wife is seemingly living here at the time. The lady reminds me of a young version of Clara Peller (from the “where’s the beef?” commercials). Eventually, I take my wife behind a shoulder-high hedge that runs parallel to the house’s property line on the right side of it, but annoyingly, the other three people keep coming out and randomly walking around the hedge. I try to shoo them away, but eventually give up and just do what I had intended. Briefly, my wife seems to transform into a part of the hedge and back again which seems a bit strange, but I do not focus on it, and I fly off again shortly after fulfillment (which is quite visual).

From here, I explore another building with amazing clear details, seemingly on the second floor again. I walk by a room that has a low table (about knee-high) that has an image with a teddy bear on it (and there are many other clear details). It looks painted or like a very large decal. The image is quite complex and I am almost certain in afterthought that it is the print of a postage stamp (though I could not find any image close to it anywhere). The teddy bear is in a sailor suit (blue with thinner white stripes) and there is a lot of blue and beige in the image including a beige border. It is sitting near other toys, including a pull-toy of a duck. Exploring other rooms, the visual clarity is almost overwhelming. (My wife reminded me of a cross-stitch design she did similar to the image that was on the table.)

After all of this vivid imagery and flying around and sensual movement and sharpening my focus at least four times throughout my longer dream (with a strange concern about my in-dream breathing at one point, where I have to stop and catch my breath a couple times), I decide to let it go, as my head is starting to feel a bit in “overdrive” and I wake immediately.
    12. Guided flying, and music in the sky

      by , 08-12-2015 at 10:14 AM (Mouka's Mind Palace)
Went lucid, though I don't remember how. I was out in a greenway-type path with trees around me, and I was super happy because I wasn't stuck in the damn locked house for once. I attempted to fly by jumping up into the air, but only managed to jump super high and then fall back down to the ground. I was pretty upset, but then I remembered something Seru told me in a past dream, how I should aim for a landmark in the distance and focus on getting there rather than the act of flying itself. He says when flying with ki, you don't focus on the act of flying itself, just your intention and your heading. Sooo... I looked off in the distance at a tree and decided I wanted to go there, jumped up and flew off towards it. Slowly at first, but then I was able to speed up and I was moving crazy fast. Then the dream started to fade out and I wound up back in my body.

After that I lay still and attempted to re-enter the dream, like during my last lucid, and I was successful. This time I was standing on a sidewalk, and there was a tall brick wall on my right with vines on it. I walked down the sidewalk, running my hands along the brick to help stabilize the dream. The sidewalk kept going out into a field, and off to my left I saw many people that were kind of phasing in and out. I was looking for my dear ol' dream guide. I stopped walking because I heard "Fly Me to the Moon" playing from up above, and then I saw Frank Sinatra fade in before my eyes and walk up to me. But when I saw him, I knew. It was my dream guide, and he was Frank Sinatra for some weird reason. I asked him and he gave me that little knowing smile of his, the one he has on his original form. I knew it was because of the significance of that song from real life. He pointed off into the distance down the sidewalk, which was now running down the middle of an open field, and told me to fly off in that direction. I was reluctant at first because of the flying thing, but he was using that god-mode dream control of his and sent me flying. I flew a little bit above the sidewalk, enjoying the wind on my face, not really sure where I was headed, just going wherever he sent me flying off to. Music started to play as I flew, music I've never heard, like my mind was making it up. It was a very beautiful song, some pop-style song about a heartbeat. I remember being annoyed that I wouldn't remember the song once I woke up. As I kept flying, some military-style buildings showed up on my left. They were like military museums like the kind you see on army bases, with the old cannons and missiles and tanks sitting around out front on display. I landed right near them, and just kind of looked around, wondering where I was and if I was on an army base I used to live at. There on the sidewalk in front of me was Seru who was currently not Frank Sinatra, and he had his arms crossed and thought everything was just soooooo funny. I was all "Hey, you're just sending me around randomly!" and he was just like "I 'guided' you, didn't I?" What a dick. But I did get to fly around a bunch, and I wasn't stuck in the house, so maybe it was a good thing? He was helping me with my flying, too... so okay maybe he wasn't being a dick. It still felt like he was messing with my head though.

    13. Catbird Fish (DILD)

      by , 08-11-2015 at 08:39 PM
Ritual: It's been over a month since I've done any deliberate dream practice, due to a combination of low motivation and being really busy in WL, so this morning I woke up early to feed the cats and decided to turn it into a WBTB. To reinforce my intention, I took a very small amount (2mg) of galantamine, backed up with alpha-gpc and l-theanine. I lay on my back and tried to concentrate on my intention to get lucid, but my focus was almost completely lacking, and eventually I dozed off only to be startled awake by my own snoring. I turned on my side and fell asleep without any further efforts.

I am in a store that specializes in custom-made, artisanal candy and chocolates. There is a table covered with samples, and I am surprised to see one set labeled with the names of my dad and a cousin, apparently commissioned by them for some event. It consists of three types of chocolate meant to be dipped into three different flavored creams. I want to try all three, but there is only one sample of each flavor and I am competing for them with other customers, so I miss out on one or two.

My disappointment is eased when the lady proprietor brings out more samples, but these turn out to be biscuits and candy, rather than the chocolates on the first table. Still, they are very appealing in all their colors and textures, and I am standing over the table unapologetically sampling one thing after another when I feel a strange tremor in the floor. The motion becomes more intense, and the other customers start to panic because they think it is an earthquake, but I recognize that it is a different kind of motion. It doesn't feel like the ground is shaking under the building, but rather like the building itself is sliding over the ground, which is of course impossible, unless...

"Don't worry, everybody!" I say authoritatively. "This is a dream." I open the front door to see if I was right about the movement, and sure enough, the whole building is sliding sideways through a forest at great speed. While I wait for our journey to end, I continue munching confections: I was particularly enjoying one fennel-flavored cookie shaped like twining leaves and tinted delicately green. Recalling that I was planning to resume my diet tomorrow in waking life, I figured I should take advantage of this opportunity to stuff my face with calorie-free dream food!

The building eventually came to a halt, and I went outside to explore the new environment. I recall it was now an urban area, but some of the transitional details are vague. Somehow I met up with my husband and another guy, no one I recognized, and we drove through the city in a really nice convertible sportscar (modeled on the picture of the BMW i8 he showed me last night in WL). I think we were going to see a movie but maybe it wasn't showing (I don't remember watching one) so we went back out to get the car. It was parked some distance away, so to retrieve it faster, I concentrated on making it drive itself back to us, and to speed things up even more, I had it fly through the air.

"Thank you, robot valet," I said, as the car gently landed in front of us at the curb. My husband got in the driver's seat, and I got into the back again, but when the DC squeezed into some weird sidecar niche, I climbed over to take the passenger seat. For some reason the car had a British layout, so the driver sat on the right with the passenger seat to the left.

Since I had demonstrated that the car could fly, we took off directly into the air to avoid street traffic. However, our flight path didn't feel stable: we were getting buffeted in strange ways. I pointed out that while this car was incredibly aerodynamic on the ground, it was not designed for flying: a sturdy little pod would be better for this purpose. We dropped back down to the pavement and now the car performed beautifully, hugging the ground with impressive traction even though the streets were wet, and roaring forward at incredible speed.

"Where are we going?" I asked. Even though I wasn't in the driver's seat, as the dreamer I felt like I was actually the one steering. My husband said he wanted to pick up some things from the Hall of Records, and helped me locate the building. Inside, it turned out he was retrieving some parcels that had been mailed to him. He mentioned that one package was three days late, because the sender had needed to mail out a movie script first. "Why didn't he just bring them both to the post office at the same time?" I asked, to which there was no satisfactory answer. The parcels contained research materials, and now that my husband had them in hand, he wanted to do some work. "Okay, you work," I said. "I need to go do something."

I had remained partly lucid the whole time, but I had been enjoying the dream enough to let the narrative play out. Now that things were wrapping up, I remembered that I had planned to catch a fish for the TOTMs. I went around behind the building and conveniently found a stream flowing by. The water was shallow and crystal clear, so I peered in to see if I could spot any fish. What I actually saw swimming underwater were... kittens!

"Actually this will make things easier," I reflected. Now I wouldn't need to bother with a fishing rod, hook, and bait. Kittens were much easier to catch! I dangled a length of ribbon over the water until a kitten surfaced and started batting at it, then lured it closer to me until I could scoop it right up in my arms. I concluded that the creature I had caught was a "catbird fish" (I'm not sure why it wasn't just a "catfish," but this was the term that seemed right at the time) and knew I should examine it closely so that I could write a clear description in my report.

Once I was holding the animal, it was no longer the size of a tiny kitten but had swelled into a plump armful. It was no longer quite cat-shaped, either: now looked more like a stuffed animal with the bodily proportions of a totoro: big rounded torso and very short arms and legs. Although my "catbird fish" didn't physically resemble a fish, I sensed that there was something fishlike about its bones, even if I couldn't see them.

I studied the head first, which was still cartoonishly cat-like overall, but with significant differences. The mouth was very unusual: more narrow and vertical than that of a real cat, almost beaklike the way it protruded, but with large exposed teeth. There were two large incisors on the top and bottom, but both sets of incisors were adjacent to one another in the center, more like those of a rat than a cat, but wider and flatter.

After studying the mouth closely, I looked back up and saw that the round, wideset eyes were now completely white. I recalled noticing normal pupils before and wondered if they were rolled back in the head. Just when I was thinking that the creature was starting to look a bit scary, with its weird mouth and whitened eyes, suddenly it spoke up in a very friendly voice: "Hello!" I responded in kind, smiled at it, and continued my examination.

It had the fur of a cat, brown tabby stripes with patches of white here and there: a white triangle on the throat and chest, a little white on the belly, and white gloves. I checked and determined that all four paws were white. After looking over the creature thoroughly, I returned the "catbird fish" to the stream.

The environment had shifted around me: the stream was no longer outside, but occupied a room in a building that had put together exhibits pertaining to different countries. I wondered which country had supplied my "catbird fish," and looked around until I saw the words "This is Canada," inscribed under the surface of the stream. I wondered what other countries were being exhibited—somehow I knew there were supposed to be five of them—and if I could find any rooms with bodies of water suitable for fishing. It would be cool to catch dream fish from several different countries!

I wandered around the building looking for the other exhibits, but to my disappointment, all the others were closed. I went to the front desk to ask about this, and became even more incensed when I noticed a sign informing me that the price of admission was $898.99. I complained angrily to the desk clerk: how could they justify charging so much when only one of the five exhibits was even open?! He simply pointed me to a second sign, which listed a complicated set of refunds that reduced the price of admission to only $1.25.

"Oh, alright then." I figured $1.25 was a reasonable fee for the one exhibit I had seen, and was willing to pay. I had a bunch of change in my left hand, and started trying to count out five quarters into my right palm. The first few attempts inexplicably failed due to the shifting numbers and appearances of the coins. "This is really hard to do in a dream," I commented, and wondered if it would be easier if, instead of trying to shift the correct number of coins from left hand to right, I put them directly down on the desk as I counted.

I started making a little pile of quarters, but had only counted out two before coins that had initially resembled quarters turned out to be square when I set them down, and I had to start a separate pile for them. The third round, quarter-sized coin that I managed to produce had a square hole in the center like those old Chinese coins, and the fourth one had three triangular holes, but by this point I realized that this would never get done if I was too much of a perfectionist. All I needed was one more vaguely quarter-shaped coin to complete my stack of five, but suddenly all the ones still in my hand appeared to be the wrong shape and size. I picked something arbitrarily to finish the stack. I was well aware of the irony of going to so much effort to pay for something in a dream, but since it was so unexpectedly challenging, I felt that it would be a good exercise to try to see it through!

    14. The nightmare basement, and a balcony at dusk

      by , 08-07-2015 at 08:08 AM (Mouka's Mind Palace)
I suddenly became lucid during a regular dream when I looked down and noticed my hands looked strange. I was in a house... again. This time I didn't feel trapped, but I felt hopeless and unable to do anything, with no dream control at all. I walked through the house, intending to go outside, but then out of the corner of my eye I saw a square hole cut into the wooden floor. It was just big enough to climb down, and it seemed to radiate evil and darkness, with a staircase going down it... so I went down it. It seems I have this weird fearlessness in my dreams that I fail at in real life. I think its my determination to find what I want, like I'm so sick and tired of my lucids not working that I've stopped giving a fuck about nightmare things. They're only in my way, after all. As I walked down the stairs to the bottom, I turned the corner and the first thing I saw was a spider web with crazy things in it, like the big black scribble I remembered seeing on a nightmare creature in a dream a few weeks ago. I kept walking, down a huge wide hallway that was dusty with a hard packed dirt floor. It was dark but I could see a little in the distance. There was a tall, lanky grey alien standing a little bit ahead of me, and he moved closer, blinking in and out, without actually moving his body. When he finally got to me, I was just like FUCK YOU and slapped out my hand, and he turned transparent and faded away. I continued walking. I was looking for Seru to come break me free, but I was frustrated that I couldn't find him and he wasn't showing up when I called. Then I felt my dream fading and I returned to my waking body, but I lay perfectly still and attempted to re-enter the dream.

As I lay there, I went into sleep paralysis while waiting which just kept going and going until I finally gave up. But when I opened my eyes and sat up, I found I was back in the dream. It was super unstable though, so I focused on my surroundings, feeling things and noticing the sounds and smells... dank and musty. I was touching a metal bar or table and it was cold and hard. I continued down the hallway and came to an opening that was on the right side of the hallway. It was some kind of balcony open to the evening sky and the sun was going down. The ground outside was almost pitch black but the sun was bathing the balcony in a nice orange glow. But I couldn't get off it and go outside. I turned around toward the hallway and looked down it and figured I'd just sit and wait for Seru since that always seems to work. Arrogant domineering asshole, always wanting to be the initiator in any situation... Just then I saw some sunlight breaking through the hallway ceiling, illuminating it with rays of light and, and he was standing far down at the end of the hallway. He moved towards me but I couldn't see his face then, because it was in the shadow. When he came close, he jumped into the air and flew past me quickly, through the balcony into the evening sky. I jumped up and flew after him, breaking through the house and off the balcony as well. I flew behind him for a while, even though he was going pretty damn fast and I had a hard time catching up to him. But I was able to slowly catch up and fall in beside him... I was afraid he'd look over at me and have some creepy nightmarish face since I'd found him in the nightmare basement, but once I was parallel with him, he looked over at me with a smile and he looked regular. I guess moods and setting doesn't have any effect on a dream guide. I was so damn happy that he broke me out of the house again that I reached over and kissed him... it was a really vivid kiss, and felt real. Which was weird, because I can still imagine the feeling. When I did that, he stopped and wrapped his arms around me (what a sweetie. still an arrogant asshole though) We did some fun pervy things, but then I remembered I wanted to ask him something, so I asked if he really was my dream guide or if the last time I asked him was just a fluke. He reassured me that he was, but then he stopped and gave me a strange look, and I realized the dream was fading away again. Never got to finish my pervy stuff. Pityyyyyy.
    15. LD: Bending Skills

      by , 08-06-2015 at 07:28 PM
I got up at 3:15 and tried for a WILD. I laid there and laid there and felt the time pass and pass...until I finally saw the sky outside my window brighten. I was pretty discouraged. But this was the first morning in a long time where I was going to be able to sleep in. I finally decided that if I kept trying for a WILD, I would just stay awake. So I decided to just get into the most comfortable position and just try to sleep and hope for a DILD. I often have that happen when I can't WILD.

As I was drifting off, I heard my dog barking. It was making me angry, because I really needed to go to sleep and not be bothered by barking. I finally got up and went outside. I was surprised to see that there were at least 6 other dogs that had gotten into the back yard. No wonder my dog had been barking. But when I looked for him I couldn't see him among the other dogs. Suddenly the yard was full of kids and teenagers. They helped me get the dogs out of the yard and would help me find my dog. As we went down the road I saw the that number of dogs had increased to about a dozen or so.

Something about this wasn't right. And really, who were these people I was with? Could I be dreaming? It suddenly seemed much more likely that I was dreaming then walking down the road with all these random dogs and people. I took a jump up....and continued to fly.

      Yes!

I very quickly remembered my goal of practicing all my bending skills. I flew to a big tree and sat on a large branch. I cupped my hands in front of me and concentrated on making fire. At first nothing happened. I wasn't too worried because fire is the easiest one for me, and I have had quite a lot of practice over the years at creating fire. So I continued to concentrate and soon saw little heat waves coming up off my hands. With a little more concentration I saw a little fire form within my cupped hands. That was good enough for me. I wanted to move on to water.

I looked at my hands. The fire slowly faded away and in it's place I saw that my hands were filled with water. That was easier than I thought it could be. I have only one memory of water bending in all my lucid dreams and that was years ago--and that cup of water had already been on the table. So I was thrilled that the water just came to be. Now for the next part. I concentrated again on the small pool of water in my hands. Soon I saw a section of water start to snake up. I pulled it with my mind and made it twist and turn. I finally made it head to my mouth where I drank it all down (that had been my plan all along--and it was quite satisfying--the more interaction with the water, the better, I say). I then saw Jeff next to me. He said he was hot. I filled my hands with water again, and this time focused on it until it became ice. It was not quite solid, still kind of slushy, but still intact enough for me to pick it up with one hand and give it to Jeff. He seemed happy with it so I moved on.

I saw that I was in the park next to the airport. I flew over to the fence and saw some small rocks sitting on the fence. I concentrated until those pebbles floated over and into my hands. I then formed a dust devil and those rock went swirling up into the very small dust devil in my hands.

I felt very satisfied that I had been able to do all four elements.
At this point I think I had a false awakening. Or I lost lucidity.

I was in what was supposed to be my backyard. I was looking at my tomato plants. I noticed that I had a lot of ripe tomatoes. Many more than I had remembered seeing before. I then noticed that my squash plants were also covered in these big cool looking squash, some orange and other pink with green on one end. As excited as I felt seeing all the squash, part of me started doubting. Again, I decided that there was more chance of me being in a dream than all these squash suddenly growing in my yard (had I even planted squash this year?). No, I was dreaming again. And that was okay.

I suddenly thought about all the bending I had just done. I wasn't quite finished. I wanted to make a bigger dust devil. I concentrated on the ground in front of me and made a 6-7 foot dust devil appear. At first it was just made from random dust and debris. But then I wanted to be creative. I used my mind to lift some reddish colored sand at the base of the dust devil. I watched as it started to swirl slowly up the dust devil. It was so fascinating that I did it again with more sand. Then again. The dust devil had all these swirling stripes, spinning and spinning. I focused again and made the patterns even more complex. It was beautiful, intricate, and so symmetrical. I was in awe.

But then I remembered my next goal which was to summon some new music by Angels and Airwaves. I had been wanting to do this for a while. I hadn't been successful the last time. I hope to be this time. I saw Daniel next to me. I asked him if he had a radio or music player of sorts. He said yes, and pulled out this funny orange and yellow colored box. He pushed a button and music started playing. I told him I needed to hear some Angels and Airwaves...but not just any old Angels and Airwaves, but something new. Something they hadn't created yet. He messed around with it. Several more songs came on, but none of it was what I was looking for.
Then the dream faded. And I couldn't get back.
