This dream had an incredible scene. I was by the waters of the Pacific Northwest Unites States by the water. I think I was in a cove or maybe by a saltwater "river". The clouds would roll in and out making it sunny or cloudy at any given moment. The landscape was beautiful pine forests with a sandy shore in some places and rocky in others. the water was slightly stained. I was in a small cove when I spotted a pod of orca milling(playing) in the area. I got so excited I almost jumped. There was a raised wooden viewing platform and I immediately went over to it to get a better view. On my way up the stairs an orca was splashing enough water to send some of it over to me as i climbed the stairs. It was a spectacular sight looking out. Watching this family of orca swimming, playing, and socializing with each other. The family bonds so obviously strong in this pod. Most of the orca swam down river but one decided to stay, I think maybe for me. It played around right in front of the stand as if to show me some things. It was a massive orca, the biggest of all the family rolling on its back and sending water everywhere with powerful inverted tail lobs slapping the water with powerful force. I wanted to go see the whole family and I began to walk down river to where they had begun playing again. Walking down the rocky part of the beach I looked out over the water. I could not believe where I was. As i got to the sandy side of the beach I also was in the forest now by the water. Two adult orca were laying in the sand looking across the water. I walked up in between the two and they both looked back at me. I was slightly nervous being near there tail knowing one blow could knock me unconscious. I got near there mid sections and petted them both at once but they rejected it and slid back into the water. With my confidence hurt I went to the waters edge where a smaller one was playing by the shore. I reached down to pet it but it quickly made an effort to swim away. Now I was getting a little disheartened until finally a small calf swam over to me, excited to see me. It rolled around and let me pet it for a bit. We looked right in each others eyes and all I saw was joy, playfulness, and curiosity. It was not afraid. I was over-joyed with finally getting to interact with one. I understand this is never my choice, the orca will always determine whether or not they want to interact with people an i have no choice but to respect their decisions; but i'm glad the calf gave me a chance to interact with it, I feel honored. It swam away back to its family and I watched a little bit longer. Sad they were all leaving but happy I got to see them. That was the last I saw them.
Lucids two nights in a row! Nice. This one started out as a regular nightmare rather than through sleep paralysis. I was watching The Lion King with my brother like we did when we were kids, and I was sitting there playing the original Pokemon on my old Game Boy. Then suddenly dad came running into the room all psychotic, laughing with a gun in his hand, and we freaked out and ran away. He chased us and caught my brother, and I heard horrible gunfire and so I ran down the hall and locked myself in a room. He was banging at the door and I was so scared and kept trying to push through the window glass, but then I noticed my hands on the glass. My fingers were all funny and I immediately recognized it as a dream and went lucid. I turned around from the window and the room was pure white, and the banging had stopped. So I left the room and found myself in another house I couldn't get out of, but this time it was all white and there was sunlight everywhere. ...but I was still locked in. In one of the rooms was a grey alien, which was a little weird, but when I walked up to it and poked it, it disappeared. Now back in the hall, I just told myself "You know, I can never find that guy when I search, so I'm just going to sit here and wait on him." So once again I was sitting on the ground in the hallway, surrounded by white and sunlight, calling out to Seru all pitiful-sounding. I heard a noise at the end of the hall, and leaned over to look, and there he was standing there looking at me and smiling. Yay, it worked! I went over to him and asked him if he could break me free from the house again, and he said yes. He flew up through the ceiling and I flew up after him, but this time I didn't just hit the ceiling instead I went right through it. Then we were up in the air and I was looking in awe at all the landscapes surrounding me. In front of us was this massive flower garden, fields and fields of all different species, it looked so rainbow-speckled, and it was so vivid I just couldn't believe it. I wanted to go down there immediately, but then he told me to look at the rest. So I looked to the right and there was a vast ocean and a beach that stretched forever, and far in the distance in front of us, past the flower fields, was a giant wall. Like the Great Wall only much higher. We landed on top of a tall fence overlooking the flowers, and out of all the different flowers, rare ones and such, this one common blue-purple pansy stood out, and I really wanted to keep it because it was so vivid but I also didn't want to ruin the field at all. I was curious about the wall so I asked him what was beyond it. He said there were mountains as far as the eye could see. Well... the call of the unknown lured me in and I wanted to go over the wall. He took off into the sky and I flew after him, towards it, buuuuttt... then my husband's alarm clock woke me up! Haha, well that's okay. I got a sweet vivid lucid dream, a dream guide, and fun places to visit next time.

There was a huge circular aquarium with a giant monster fish in it, it looked kind of like a Coelacanth, but it had creepy Piranha eyes and mouth and was about the size of a school bus. On the wall next to the aquarium was a giant skeleton of the same fish. I desperately wanted to go examine the skeleton but I was so afraid of the live fish, he kept swimming at me and snapping, I thought he'd break through the glass. So instead I just admired the damn thing from afar. At one point, I joined up with a tourist group who were being led around the rest of the aquarium by a dude who looked like he didn't even want to be there. We went down some stairs, and I found myself in this amazing room underwater with a big window opened up to the bottom of the ocean. The water reflected off the floors and walls and the whole room was just bathed in this wild blue waving pattern. The guy said we were actually at the very bottom of the ocean and that we were a few miles underwater. Which kind of terrified me, since deep water has always creeped me out. Then I noticed that there was no window glass, the water was just suspended there, like maybe there was some kind of invisible force field holding it back. I took my hand and reached out into the water, and was shocked that it actually went in. But instead of crushing my hand, like I thought a few miles of deep water would do, it was super light. I moved my hand through it and it was like moving it through air, only I could see the water moving. It was a total trip. Later the guy wound up having some personal problem and herded all the tourist group into a room while he took care of whatever business he had. We all sat in there bored and impatient, and I felt very put-out by it. For some reason, I was given moderator status over an art group because the founder didn't have the time to deal with it anymore. As soon as I was given the reins, this guy submits three pieces of "art" explaining why I suck as the new moderator. They were really insane reasons, too. The main ones were because I didn't add a Sonic category under the video game art, and because I never invited these two specific artists to join the group. I tried to be polite to him and told him that if he wanted a Sonic category, all he had to do was request it, and that I wasn't going to pester people about joining because membership was free to everyone anyway. He got all butthurt about it and started screaming at everyone. I was hiding behind some boulders because I was naked. I have no idea why I was naked, what the heck. But I was super friggin hungry and saw a bunch of people eating pizza, but I couldn't join them because I had no clothes. On the ground was this teeny little shirt, but when I put it on, it didn't cover up anything so there in the rocks I stayed. This woman with long, sandy hair noticed me and invited me over to her hotel room to help me out. We ate pizza and she gave me a bed for the night, and I guess she gave me clothes because I suddenly had clothes again? The next day we wound up with cutesy little crushes on each other and she left for work and I went on my way. I tried calling her later but she was avoiding me. Apparently someone told her a lie about something horrible I did, and I just had to find her and clear my good name, so I went up to her work but she refused to come out and talk to me. I was in a huge estate, looking out the window over a big lake. As I watched, I noticed a big black shadow under the water swimming away from the estate so I kept my eyes on it. A little ways in, it poked up its head and I saw it was a dolphin. There was a whole school of them. Then I remembered Cory's sister had a canoe so I decided to get it and go out there on the lake to check out the dolphins, and the canoe had a motor on it apparently. Me and someone else took the canoe out along the edge of the lake that was up against the estate to where the dolphins were, and as we headed out there, I felt like the canoe was slowly sinking but I wasn't too sure so I kept my mouth shut about it. It turned out it was sinking, and it started going under as soon as we got out to swim around with the dolphins, but then we realized the lake was super shallow, like shallow enough to stand in. So we left the lake, hauling the canoe to shore. Later on I walked out there by myself, still along the edge of the water by the estate, and I was really careful as I stepped because I was afraid the water would drop off into deeper spots. Then I saw a big railroad crossing stick and was afraid to go past that, but I didn't have to because the dolphins were right there, so I stood among them and it was just the coolest thing ever. There was only one big one, so I guess it was the mother, and a bunch of little ones, and I grabbed onto the fin of the mother and she swam me out further into the lake where I discovered a secret chamber. It was a bit weird to get in, you had to duck under some shallow water and then come up on the other side. But the chamber itself was creepy, it had mossy stairs and a few sarcophagi, but... it also had a mini-fridge, so I filled it with neat orange soda imported from Germany that said on the cans that it would get chilled in the fridge in under six minutes. Which I thought was bullshit, by the way. It said it in German, like 'Unter sechs minuten!' or something, whatever. My dog Loki figured out my new hiding spot pretty quickly and would come down there with me. But later I discovered there was a scary something down there in the depths of the chamber, but I can't remember what it was, just that it was terrifying. To keep the scary something away, you had to avoid specific areas of the chamber, and I forgot and at one point I was running out of the chamber in terror.
For the record, it was painful to wake up and realize this was only a dream. I have not actually seen a real living orca yet sadly I was in the back seat of a white Chevy Suburban with my step-grandfather driving and step dad in the passenger seat. we were driving at night over a bridge over the ocean in a coastal region, perhaps florida, when I look out over the water and see a pod of Killer Whale (Orcinus orca) coming up for air, swimming along the bridge. I immediately got excited and shouted "Look there are Orcas swimming" or something along those lines. I then repeatedly and seriously told the driver "stop the car" "stop the car" and he started to slow down but never stopped, so I ended up opening the door while we were still moving and hopped out. I stumbled across the ground a short distance before running over to the side of the bridge. I laid down on the bridge and looked into the dark water. A curious orca calf surfaced to see what I was. I reached down for it trying to pet it, positioning myself closer to the water until i strained to far and fell off the bridge into the water with it. I touched it, but I had to get myself up right after my fall. I searched the water for a while around where i fell and could not see the orcas much. I swam over to a small sandy island, about 50 feet or so in diameter, so it was small. It had a lone palm tree leaning down over the sand and a small sand dune. I was in a bay area, with houses above sea walls around the waters of the island. It was now mid day suddenly. The orca swam around the water and the biggest one came onto the sandy island about half way. I approached it and it made a hissing noise at me, followed by showing me it's teeth. I was a bit startled and I stumbled backwards and fell on the sand about 3 feet away where he stared me down for a period of time presenting his teeth as if to warn me. Neither of us moved for a good 30 seconds. I felt a bit scared and surprised. I finally had the courage to stand back up and walk back. It swam off around the island before eventually coming back on the island under the palm tree and just relaxed. I stood there and watched it for a moment, observing the orca before walking up to it and touching its tail. It seemed surprised and worked its way back into the water quickly. It swam around the island once more. I stood on the small island and simply watched it swim by. It came back onto land this time about halfway looking at me with a weary look, as if trying to tell me it needed help. I thought it was probably hungry and decided to find food for it. when I got back into the water everything turned dark again and I quickly found some sort of prey, maybe a stingray. I took a small spear about the size of a knife and jabbed into it, bringing out of the water and back to the island. It was day again on land. I walked over to the orca, took the ray off the knife, and placed it in the orcas mouth. I was finally able to stand next to it and pet it. It now trusted me more and I could feel it. I then woke up The orca had a pattern that was not a normal pattern. I also do not know what gender it was, but its tall dorsal fin suggests it was a male. It had a white mosaic looking pattern on its tall dorsal fin and some white tribal art work "dash" line around its eye. everything else seemed correct though. Side notes for viewers: Orcas around the U.S. west coast and New Zealand coasts are low in numbers. With about 80 Souther Resident Killer Whales(SRKW) on the U.S. west coast and less than 200 around New Zealand. There are other groups in danger as well. They are an endangered species. The Southern Resident population took a major blow back in the 70's where seaworld and other marine parks hired divers and boaters to capture and take away orca calfs from their family right in front of them. 45 captured and at least 13 were killed in the process. These sentient and highly intelligent animals have very strong social and family bonds. of the 45 captured from the southern residents, only one is still alive. 6.12.15 Still night shifts, so sleeping from noon till 9-10 pm. Except today, because I had to go to my second job after first one. Got home at 1 pm, bed at 3 pm - 9:45. Bunch of dreams 1. A child slides down the stairs that look like stone stairs in my moms apartment. He slides head first and his head hits the floor 2-3 times. I feel bad, even when I didn't do it. 2. I'm on a wooden deck, very high up in the sky. It's attached to some building. The deck is overlooking a bay and I can see in the distance the Liberty Island and Statue of Liberty. I'm taking a picture of a child with the statue, then I ask him to take mine. More people are there, just sitting, wrapped in blankets and coats because it's windy. 3. I point to an apartment overlooking the bay in New York. I show it to this kid. Tell him either me or him has to move there. It belongs to the owner of New York sports team. I'm sad we have to separate, and I know he is too. 4. I'm walking on the edge of grassy playing field. Lots of people to my left, playing all kinds of sports and games. It's the Olympic games. People in white uniforms playing with volleyball, showing off their skills. But the game is not volleyball. As I'm walking, I realize the games are televised and I wonder what will people think seeing me on TV, why am I there, how do I look and if it's even legal for me to be waling there. But I'm sure it is. 5. Now I'm walking on the edge of the water. There are some puddles on the walk path and I see bunch of marine animals in them. There is a beautiful and huge octopus, and another one, smaller. One of the tentacles is hanging out of the water. Tons of soft coral, anemonies, crabs, I don't want to step on anything, and don't wanna be grabbed by the octopus. I pull out my phone and want to take picture of them. Looking for an angle where sun is not reflecting off the surface, but I can see what's under water. I see that few times when sun shines right through. Have to wait for it few times because it's kinda cloudy and clouds are moving fast.
I had a moment of lucidity this morning. I did a WBTB and then got to sleep in. I found myself walking through an underground cave system. I was with Spike from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We had gone back 50 years in time so he could fight this guy and hopefully receive information that would really help us in our very complicated situation. At some point I thought "Hmm. What are the chances that I am actually hiking in a cave right now? This is a seriously cool place. There is probably more of a chance that I'm dreaming right now than in this cave." I had really mixed feelings about it. I wanted to have a lucid dream. But I didn't want to abandon this epic quest I was on. I concentrated and started to float. Yep. Dream. But my next thought was that this ability would come in super handy for the fight Spike and I were about to face. In the end I lost lucidity while keeping my flying ability. The story line of this dream was too good to let go. Earlier in the night I had another cool dream where I found a golden ring with the power to make me invisible. I also could fly. Everyone was chasing me. I had a hard time getting away even with flight and invisibility. Too many low ceilings. At some point in the dream I turned into a hobbit. I remember someone grabbing my hairy feet and knowing that was going to give away my identity. At some point Gandalf was in the dream too and the story in became complex. I had another dream where I was whale watching on this small boat and there were whales and dolphins all aound us very close. I was always just a little too slow with my camera to get a good picture. It's great to be able to sleep in sometimes. My dreams are always so much better when I do.
I had a dream which was sort of lucid. I was aware of some things, but I was still really connected to the dream's story line and didn't even think to abandon it and complete my goals. Teleportation and Time Travel I was driving through an unfamiliar big city (dream sign). I came up on a big hill and started to go down. I realized that I couldn't reach the brake. I also realized that I wasn't even in the drivers seat. What was I doing driving a car from the passengers side (another dream sign!)?? The car was picking up speed. I would soon reach the bottom of the hill and crash if I couldn't get to the brake. I stretched my leg. My foot kept getting caught on things in the way. Finally when all seemed lost, my foot touched the brake pedal, and I was able to apply pressure until I stopped. I decided that I really didn't want to be driving here in this big city. I needed to go back home. But then I looked over and saw that I was about a block or two from the ocean. Suddenly Tanya was with me. I said, "Let's go walk on the beach for a few minutes before going back, shall we?" I made a left turn to try to find a place to park, and we were suddenly on foot. We walked past all these cool looking restaurants. I wanted to go in one, but decided to do that on the way back. We continued to walk. I noticed we were both pushing baby strollers. I think it was little Charles in mine. Not sure who the other baby was. As we got closer to the beach the shops were further apart, less fancy and looked a lot more run down. A guy came out of one as we approached. He held up some things he was selling. It reminded me of being in a foreign country. I told him I wasn't interested in buying anything. Suddenly he pulled the strollers (and us) into his shack and handcuffed the strollers to a pole. I was feeling quite afraid. I don't know why I didn't think to scream for help. But then I realized something. I'm lucid, I thought. (I wasn't lucid enough to create a whole new dream scene, but I was lucid enough to know I had power over the situation). I told Tanya to grab my hand and close her eyes, and I would get us out of there. I pulled us all close and closed my eyes and transported us back to the busy shop area. Not only did I do that, but I had transported us back in time by a couple hours--so the bad guy wouldn't come after us. It was such a feeling of accomplishment. I knew I had never done anything quite like that in my dreams before. I think I lost lucidity after that. I remember meeting up with Jacob and looking at things in one of the shops.
night of 5/7/15 #1 There is an arsonist who has been burning buildings and homes down in my area. I am working with a DC to identify him/her. We go to our "dream lab" to work on the problem. The lab is accessed by falling asleep and then in the dream going to our lab? While in the lab at work a man appears to us and asks if we know where a certain person is at. We tell the stranger the location of the person he is looking for and he promptly disappears. After he leaves we realize that he must be the arsonist as there is no other way that he could know about our lab and how to get there. We also realize we know where he will strike next as we just provided him with the information. We leave the lab and instantly appear outside of a house. It is nighttime. I call up to an open window and my nephew appears. The arsonist has not yet struck and I feel relief. #2 I am in my living room, it is dark, the only light is ambient light coming from the streetlights outside. I instantly realize that I am dreaming. I say "I am dreaming, I am going to walk over to the door and go outside." I find it very difficult to move, as if I am in water or surrounded by gel or something. I struggle against this for a few seconds and the dream starts to fade. I wake up and mentally review the dream. As I fall back asleep I catch some beautiful psychedelic HI. #3 I am being carried to a beach on the back of a co-worker. We pass an old blue car. My oldest friend is seated in the driver's seat. I call out to him and he gets out of the car and joins us in our walk to the beach. Next we are outside of a blue wooden building. We all have large, strangely designed shotguns with rotating magazines? My friend says "watch this" and shoots an electrical wire protruding from the building. It emits some sparks and leaves a hole. I turn to my right and see a kite tethered to the beach, blowing in the wind. A large eagle swoops down and becomes entangled in the kite string. It falls to the ground, wrapped tightly in the string. I immediately feel that I must help the large bird. I walk over and pick it up, cradling it in my arms. I walk down to the beach, looking clearly into the birds eyes. I dip it in the ocean, baptism style to clean it off. I exit the water and my friend cuts the string that has been binding the bird.
1 minute 36 second read. Tuesday morning, 5 May 2015. An Ocean Walk near my Middle School (leg mobility) Dream # 17,669-01. It is early afternoon. I am with Zsuzsanna near the ocean. However, with common surreal irregularity, the “ocean” replaces the southeast grounds of my middle school in Arcadia, Florida. I appreciate the beauty of the water’s scintillating surface. Zsuzsanna walks over an area of the ocean’s surface, and I notice a small school of fish underneath. I get the impression that the water is deep. I walk on the ocean’s surface with her, but we do not go more than ten feet from the “shore.” (The “shore” integrates with the sidewalk that encompasses the large building.) I see a small shark underneath the water, so I am concerned about Zsuzsanna’s safety. The shark passes underneath her a few times, so I tell her to come over to where I am. She walks atop the water’s surface and is eventually on my left (modeling our sleeping orientation). She moves away when the shark jumps from the water, illogically floating vertically upright near me, but I do not feel threatened as it taps me on my left shoulder and ear a few times and on the left side of my left leg as it “dances” before returning to the water. (It does not go near Zsuzsanna.) During this time, it had transformed into a grouper about three feet long. Later, I am on the ground. It has sparse grass and sandy soil. I use telekinesis to attempt to change it. The ground’s surface and the grass move with a rippling effect. I do this for a few minutes until most of the blades of grass move to one area. Although my lucidness is high, I do not consider how my mental influence has this power solely in the dream state. I make the ocean’s surface move under my will, but there is ambiguity where water and soil seem to have the same properties. However, it is like a mirage (like looking at something through heated air). I have a false recall of how this type of control of the environment works sometimes, but not always. Being tapped by the floating, dancing fish is an incentive to become more aware of my body through increased somatosensory phasing (and leaving REM atonia). That scenario is followed by mentally arranging and separating illusory patterns.

#423 - DILD - 6:08AM I'm at Subway. Some man is being a jerk to a woman and she leaves him and comes to sit at my table. She becomes very flirty and ends up asking me to join her for diner later. She's older, but extremely attractive (she looks a lot like Zooey Deschanel) so I say 'yes'. I tell her that she is very beautiful and she responds with a flirty smile. Later, I am walking up a sandy hill with sparse vegetation and I get the idea that I am very near the ocean. I'm preoccupied with the conversation with the woman and I keep replaying certain parts in my mind. I keep thinking that I sounded like an idiot the way I told her she was beautiful, but I think I am just being paranoid because she still wants to see me again. I suddenly become semi-lucid as I walk up this hill realizing that I no of this would ever happen. I anticipate seeing the ocean as I reach the top but the hill seems to morph in an odd way so that I never quite reach the top. I am non-lucid in some industrial building. I see the woman again and we have some pleasant conversation that I can't recall. I then leave and somehow become lucid as I step outside. I look around and see that I am at some shipyard with storage containers all over the place. I get the feeling that I am in 'the bay area' and still near the ocean. I feel a love for this area and feel like I remember it from somewhere I lived long ago. I am overwhelmed with a feeling of nostalgia and I shout, "I LOVE THIS TOWN!" I walk along a type of boardwalk among the multi-colored storage containers. I see some containers are floating in the water and decide to play around by jumping from one to the other. I notice that though I can see water I can't see out into the bay because there seems to be a high wall of storage containers surrounding the area. I end up having some trouble jumping far enough and I barely grab on to the edge. I have to pull myself up on top and I find the effort is exhausting. This happens several times and I wonder why I am not able to just fly around. When I stand up, I am now on a concrete area inside a warehouse. There is an metal can like paint thinner would come in and has some logo on it. There is a green label with black letters that read "Ivory". My brother walks up looking overly disgusted and annoyed to the point that it seems cartoonish. He says, "Oh you've been talking to Ivory [the woman]. Good! Take her out of here. See that can? It's says 'Ivory'. Take anything that says 'Ivory' and get it out of here. He turns, storms off, and I wake up.
Morning of February 28, 2015. Saturday. This is quite honestly one of the most ludicrous dreams I have had in years, if not decades…You have been warned. I am near the ocean in an unknown and otherwise unfamiliar region. There is a concrete bridge over one area fairly close to the shore. Over time, I notice activity in the water, which appears to be at least two sharks. I am not bothered by the presence of sharks even though I am fairly close to the water’s edge. At one point, I notice one shark jump onto another one. Looking more closely, I see that they are apparently mating in this way. Not only that, it becomes a bizarre scene. The female shark is on the bottom but is also on a jetski moving normally through the water and actually seeming to be in control of it (I am not certain if she had eaten an implied human rider prior to this - though it seems likely - where else would a shark get a jetski?). The male shark is on her back but eventually appears to have human-like legs at the rear that help him balance over her as well as stand on the jetski. There is a lot of suggestive motion and drama and it goes on for several minutes rather rhythmically and with no sense of comedy or lack of logic. Later on, a few other (unknown) people are in the area. A very long giant (but thin) snake is on the shore (though I see part of its body in the water at one point). It is not like a sea serpent, just like a giant coral snake or similar. I watch its huge head look down at me at one point but do not feel remotely threatened. When it gets closer to me, I start thinking about old monster movies. I start thinking that the motion of the snake is starting to look like stop motion animation from the 1960s. From here, there is an idea that the giant snake is knocking down skyscrapers that line one area of the shore. I start watching the action and become aware of a scene that looks mostly like pieces of walls and furniture raining down for a very long time - almost like a continuous “waterfall” of broken pieces of chairs and tables and small random pieces of the buildings, mostly cascading in the same general areas throughout, which makes it seem unrealistic. (I am not lucid at any point.)
I have a job where I have to cut the tails off of lobsters to sell them to people... I am shown how to do it, but really don't want to do that to any lobster. It looks too painful. I look back at the lobsters and see through the normal reality of things. I see a female lobster as in actuality a fairy riding a red dragon through the ocean. Then a male fairy, also riding a red sea dragon comes over and gives her a dandelion puff flower. They pass it between themselves using a dried cone flower, and swim off into the sunset. The guy jokingly launches a jet of water at her, pretending to try and soak the dandelion, but always misses.
Morning of February 6, 2015. Friday. I am swimming underwater in the ocean, in an area between Antarctica and Australia. However, the map I view at a few different later occasions in-dream is incorrect. Relative to Antarctica, it has Australia in the same general location as where the bottom of South America would be in reality (rather than the other side). This incorrect concept and related vivid imagery does not trigger any thoughts of error at all. The map’s location is not defined; it is more like a dream within a dream that I mentally visit for some reason, though looking somewhat like a computer monitor. I am looking for millions of dollars in old coins at the bottom of the ocean. It actually seems like I am only about twelve or so feet underwater at the most. Most of the ocean bottom is white sand and light-colored rock. There are pirates rather loosely involved in the plot, but there is no conflict and the group only appears a bit later. However, there is one male who is tied to a weight or underwater object in a way where his head is just able to remain above the water. This seems like some sort of punishment (I am not sure if they are intending to come back for him). I try to help him while I maneuver in a small boat but am unable to. It is quite enjoyable exploring the underwater realm. I am still able to breathe somehow, without any gear. I find everything from fairly modern pennies to Spanish Doubloons, which I hold in my hands at times, some of the coin types being in clusters on their own in certain areas. I am “collecting” the coins and occasionally other items, which also apparently end up in an undefined additional realm, like some sort of abstract “pocket” location somewhere. (I do not see them again after I “collect” them - I am apparently teleporting them to a safe location where I live.) At one point, another male swims with me. I think he is the captain of a ship but I am not sure of his identity or whether or not he is actually a pirate. He may actually be connected to the British Navy. At any rate, he seems to have only mild interest in the treasures on the ocean bottom though I do have a vague sense that others may be exploring the area and taking coins and such in a day or so. I want to find as many as possible before others arrive. There is one smaller cluster of about five silver coins that are actually fake Spanish Doubloons. Several real Lincoln pennies are also closely scattered in the same area with various levels of brighter shininess down to dull coppery matte. The other male does not seem impressed by the cheap replica coins and I feel slightly embarrassed when I pick them up to show him. He seems to want to focus on these rather than nearby very valuable coins. Other than various types of coins, there are also old pocket watches here and there (association with time being valuable, making sense of time, or time in investigating dreams being valuable - being underwater represents exploring the deeper levels of the self). I am not sure if the submerged man is going to be freed (he possibly represents everyman or how I see everyman), but I greatly enjoy exploring the ocean floor. Oddly however, I do not notice any fish or aquatic plants at any point.
Something to do with Nasa sending a probe to explore the supposed oceans of Europa. When it landed, it deployed this humanoid robot that was neurologically linked to me. Also I was fifty five years old, bald and fat in the dream. The probe started drilling into the ice and I followed. The ice was much thinner than expected. Only a couple dozen meters. When I landed in the water, I saw an alien. The alien was big about fifty feet high or so, all black, with a huge saucer shaped head and many eyes arranged horizontally. It had a vaguely humanoid body with arms and a cluster of tentacles for legs. It didn't have a mouth and communicated telepathically. It spoke to me in a strange voice, but was definitely able to speak English. It told me it wanted to return the audio sample that I had sent it. Something done by Synsun that they didn't do IWL but still had their sound. So they 'gave it back' and told me to leave unless I wanted war with their people. Though ultimately friendly they were territorial, and wanted this moon to themselves. I climbed out of the hole and sat on the surface next to the probe. I broke the neural link with the robot and came back to earth. The dream went on to something about a train crash. Something weird was going on and the train was crashing in very slow motion. There was also this thing where broken glass from the train would instantly absorb all of your blood if it broke your skin. I became semi-lucid here. I tried to take control of the train and stop it. I was late for my ARTH class and only had 20 minutes to drive to school and get to class. I started running around looking for winter clothes, but all I could find were some spider-man mittens.
I woke up this morning at around 7am and for some reason I couldn't go back to bed. I spent about an hour just laying there thinking about some things in my life but then decided I would just let my mind go blank. I was observing the patterns that my eye lids were presenting to me and was unaware that a dream scene had appeared. I was sitting on a beach when a very energetic kid stood up and started yelling while running towards the ocean. The thought of 'hell no I'm not going in there' came about my mind. My subconscious produced a reason for not going in, rough blue waves with a giant steamboat miles out to sea. Giant meaning 50 times the size of the Titanic. Suddenly, I was in my bed. I had remembered that I was trying to go to sleep and I was thinking about a song from ODESZA that has really trippy tones to it. I was looking around my room thinking I was awake, hearing this song play extremely vibrantly all throughout my house. Then, I woke up in my actual bed. It blew my mind that I had still been dreaming. Again, I was asleep. My dream scene had been in some field of some sort but jumped to being in a fast food restaurant. I had sat down with some friends in a booth when all of the sudden I just thought "this is a dream." Then I yelled, "this is a dream!" Everything became much more clear. I can't remember who was there with me, but it was a couple of friends and they were all laughing with me. I started rubbing my hands together, continually shouting "this is a dream!" Then I started doing math. "4+4 is 8, 6+6 is 12." It was like I had made up some sort of math song and I was chanting these things. There was food on my plate so I decided to try to change the food. At first it was some sort of breakfast like eggs, so I said "okay turn into wings" and waved my hand over the food. Nothing had happened the first couple of times, but then it had changed to some make-shift idea of wings on the plate which was progress for me. I had been looking around the diner when I realized I was losing the dream scene, so I focused back on my hands and rubbed them together for friction. I remember looking at my friends and thinking 'how do you tell the difference from real life and a dream? This is so real." I started to think about Inception and it freaked me out, how what if I couldn't tell what was reality and what was fake. It scared me a little. I started to spin around to stabilize the dream when it collapsed.
