    1. Food. Break up, homeless, stranger. Jacuzzi. Violent childrens' movie.

      Awake|Dreaming|Lucid

I'm in a big room with many shelves. I bake some cakes and eat them. I look at one of the shelves and there are a lot of cakes and food on it. I want to eat it but then I think about how the food is plastic so I can't eat it. The children who were here before me made the fake food as a memory for them.

Notes: My last DJ entry was about plastic candy. Now it's about plastic food. We had a lot of cookies at home two days ago. Little Daniel ended up eating almost 10 of them.

I'm with my girlfriend and we walk home to her. We talk and she wants to break up. I am very sad and go outside her apartment building. To the right there is a homeless man that I go to. There are two other kids there as well. I think they joined the homeless man the same time I did. He is to teach us how to survive without a home or money. First he teaches us how to see the difference between two animals that you can eat. He points at a hedgehog and tells us to remove the pointy sticks from its back. We do so and it's very easy. The hedgehog doesn't seem to bother. After all the sticks are gone it's a furry rat instead. The old man comes to us and it seems as tough he is trying to be bitten by one of the hedgehogs. The hedgehog bites him and he says to us that this is how you can easily fix your wound from a hedgehog. He takes the fur just above the hedgehog's nose and rips it of. The hedgehog starts to bleed there. The poor man takes the fur over his wound and starts to rub the fur against it. He says it's important to rub it against the right way. We spend time with him but later on I am alone. There is snow and I lie next to the apartment house. It is cold and I just want to disappear. I fall asleep and when I wake up I can't feel my body because of the cold. There is a lot of snow over me. I see my ex girlfriend who dumped me and her family. She isn't angry with me. They carry me inside the house and warm me up.

Notes: I dreamt about being poor and walking to a poor man some nights ago. I have just finished reading Rich Dad Poor Dad IRL and thought a lot over the things they taught. They discuss the big gap between the poor and rich in the USA and how some people are extremely poor.

I'm in a jacuzzi with another person.

Notes: I'm not sure if I just thought about it or actually dreamt it.

The incredibles are walking home. The fast boy is shot by a villain in the head and there is a lot of blood. I think to myself that it seems weird that a child's movie would have this kind of violence. The fast boy isn't actually dead but faked it. The fast boy puts his hand in the villain's mouth and pretend that he has a gun and moves his hand all around in the villain's mouth really fast. The invisible girl is also there but she isn't invisible. The villain resists and is able to break free from the fast boy.

Notes: I didn't remember this dream until I had written down the other three dreams.

    2. 16-07-18 Alien First Encounter, Superhero Punchout, The Time War

      by , 07-18-2016 at 03:03 PM
I was once again in my old family house. There was an alien in the basement, and I knew it. The basement door was still closed, but I knew it was going to come out. I opened my camera app on my phone. I wanted to record it - footage of the "first encounter" would make me rich and famous. My mom came out the hallway, and I warned her to get out of the way, as the alien was coming. It burst out of the basement. It was dark green in color, almost spherical, and quite slimy. It had a few teeth in its wide mouth, but not very large ones - they didn't look too practical for eating meat. And eyes that were far too small for it's big, headless shape (it was basically just a fat green torso with no head). I thought it was scared, as it shrieked and rushed past me at great speed and, I think, disappeared into the garden - into the night. It covered me in goo as it flew past. I got some good footage, though! That night, I slept on some blankets on the floor, alone in the living room - close to the garden door. My mom slept upstairs. At some point, I noticed my cat (Fleurtje) was acting weird. She ignored me completely, and if I approached her, she hissed and attacked. She bit me in the finger at one point, and almost broke it! I had to struggle to get her off of me. I "knew" that the alien had bodysnatched my cat. Or had morphed into my cat, like the monster from "The Thing". Then, it was my other cat, Sylvester. I rushed upstairs to warn my mother. To my amazement, even that incident wasn't enough to convince me to sleep upstairs.

The camera moved through a wide corridor or tunnel, and showed a lot of Marvel superheroes fighting out a massive free-for-all battle. They looked a little generic, with cheap costumes. Clearly stand-ins. I thought to myself that the rest of the franchise would be full of retcons, as they couldn't possibly stick to these cheap looking actors and costumes. Anyway, I was now standing by one of the heroes, clearly a main character. We were confronted by another, who had yellow glowy eyes that either drove you mad if you looked into them, or just killed you. Fortunately, my buddy revealed that he was blind. He had these (also almost glowy), milky-white eyes. I was more interested in my surrounding world. I saw the skyline of the city. Extremely modern, almost futuristic-looking skyscrapers. Massive flags hung by their sides, some red, some blue. The red flags looked like the German flag during World War 2, but with the Canadian Maple Leaf logo instead of the German cross. The blue flags had a star I think. I figured this was Canada, either in the future, or in another universe (or both). I yelled to the heroes that I suspected Canada had become Nazi.

There were a lot of events in this dream universe preceding these events. The general plot was this: the world was at war with aliens, creatures resembling the Necromorphs from Dead Space (perhaps the same bastards I encountered in my first dream?). The war was not going well at all. To make matters even more weird, time was bent "onto itself", and our war in 2016 was now happening at the same time as World War 2. The future and past had been merged. I was in conversation with two high-ranking individuals of the US military. One looked like actor Zeljko Ivanek (Blake Sterling in The Event, Danko in Heroes), the other was a taller man with short, light-grey hair. Both generals, probably - judging by their uniforms. Ivanek told me we were to avoid interfering with the events of World War 2 as much as possible. He asked if I remembered a previous operation, in which operatives came in contact with people and events from that war. I said yes. He handed me an envelope, containing what I think was an item (an old fashioned skeleton key?). Inscribed on it was a date relating to a historic event of the war. Ivanek said that after the mission, the date had changed - implying that the operatives had accidentally changed the timing of a major event of that war. I noticed Ivanek's skin was a strange tone of green. Anyhow, I think we were on an important mission, possible a last ditch effort to end the war against the aliens in our favor. I remember clumsily climbing through a window to get outside and link up with the others (?).

    3. 11/17/2014 - "Picking a Fight with Spider-Man"

by , 11-18-2014 at 03:46 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
I've had a couple of dreams, over the last few days, that I still have to expand from notes. However, this morning's dream involved Hukif's Lucid Dare, so I wanted to type it up as soon as I had the time. I don't know if it counts as a success or not, but it was a pretty good one - albeit frustrating...

      11/17/2014
      "Picking a Fight with Spider-Man"

      Spoiler for Short-Version:

I 'awoke' in my bed. Looking around the room, I could tell that things just seemed 'different'. Eventually, I came to realize that my TV and entertainment center had changed shape and size. There was also a strange feeling about me. I felt like I was in a bit of a daze. Like I wasn't quite 'with it'. I pulled up a glowing clock in front of me (I don't remember if it was on a watch or a cellphone), and I checked the time. Instead of numbers, the clock face began to morph into random letters. A calendar appeared, instead of a clock. I immediately knew that I was dreaming.

Looking at my hands, I attempted to bring the dream into more clarity. It seemed to work, but the room was still dark, so I couldn't quite see exactly what level of detail there was. I took a moment to think about what it was that I wanted to do, stepping over to the bedroom window. I knew I wanted to be outside, so I put my hands up to the window and pressed forward, phasing through the glass and leaning halfway out, taking a good look at my surroundings. It was a still night, and I believe I remember it feeling a little brisk. From the look of the neighborhood, I was back at my old home in Canterbury (again), and there was a single house across the ditch, which had green Christmas lights on it. It was one of the only things I could see, in the dark.

I remembered Hukif's Dare, about trying to fight Spider-Man, so I floated the rest of the way through the window, and up onto the roof. Instead of my normal roof, it seemed like I was now on the conjoined roofs of some big, sprawling city, with old-fashioned architecture (such as London). I flew up a few levels, from one rooftop platform to the next. Up ahead, I could see Spider-Man. He was a few levels higher than me, so I elevated to his position and saw that he seemed to be working on something; building some sort of structure. I couldn't tell what it was, but there were barrels of material and scraps laying around. He was clearly focused on what he was doing, and didn't seem to pay me any mind.

He simply ignored me, when I called down to him for a fight, continuing to work on whatever it was he was working on. I thought I might try antagonizing him a bit, so (having forgotten that one of the caveats of the dare was that I had to fight him without using any dream powers) I slung my hand out and made Spider-Man's trademark gesture, effortlessly causing a string of webbing to fly out of my wrist and cover him from chest to boots. He made some comment about how he didn't want to fight me, sounding as if the idea completely bored him to tears, and then he ripped his way out of the webbing, which flickered away and disappeared like some low-tech video game effect.

All of a sudden, there was a series of explosions, closing in on us from a higher point upon the cluttered stacks of rooftops. Spider-Man said that there was a very powerful villain coming, and he began scampering in the other direction when the explosions began blasting in toward us. I quickly followed him, flying Superman style as we rushed to evade the incoming ordinance. I couldn't see who was actually chasing us, but I was amazed (no pun intended) at the way Spider-Man moved - flipping and twisting and landing on the smallest of surfaces before rebounding off and tucking into all sorts of various, aerial maneuvers. It was a trip to watch, even while making our escape.

Finally, we got back down to the edge of the rooftop on which I had begun. I flew over the side and landed to the ground in front of my bedroom window. I believe I was going to phase back through the window, to head inside, but it was right around here when the dream reset itself.

I was back in my room, on my bed, and looking around in the dark. This time, my TV was on, so there was a dim glow that I don't believe was there, the first time around. Spider-Man and the heavily-armed mystery villain were nowhere to be seen. Still lucid, I sat in bed for a few moments and attempted to ground myself into the dream again. I started rubbing my hands and feeling around on my arms, to focus on the texture. This time, I could see a strange black set of tattoos, which ran halfway up my arm. The were symbols, or abstract objects, which kind of looked like the bones of a spinal column, from my wrist to the top of my forearm.

Getting out of bed and walking to the TV, I wanted to try and use it for a scene change. I can't remember what program was showing, but I pushed my face up to the screen and attempted to 'go into' the TV, itself. After a few moments, everything had just gone dark. I pulled my head away and saw that what was once a TV, had transformed into some sort of cabinet or dresser. Frustrated, and attempting to test my level of control in this dream, I levitated myself a couple of inches from the floor, checking to see if I could stay afloat. Then, after a few seconds, I lowered myself to the ground and slung my first down at it. My fist smashed into the ground with incredible force, and I could feel a sonic boom shake the walls of the home. From what I could tell, I still had at least a little control over things, here.

I knew I wanted to try my hand at Spider-Man, again, but I didn't want to have to waste the time in going to find him. I 'willed' for him to be in the room with me, and he soon walked in through the bedroom door. The lights were on, by now, and he just stood between me and the dresser, as if silently waiting for an explanation as to why he was summoned. I asked him if he wanted to spar, and he simply made some dismissive gesture. He just wasn't having it, apparently, and I was getting nowhere. I decided to try attacking him, again. At first, I was going to try webbing him again, but I remembered about the rules. So, I tried throwing a few punches. It just felt really awkward, and I was hitting nothing but air. I even tried DBZ-style 'rapid-fire punching', but it was just like he wasn't even there. I couldn't tell if he was moving too fast for me to see him, or I was just punching 'through' him. Going for broke, I jumped up and threw a double drop-kick right at his chest. It was powerful enough to knock him back against the cabinet and send me hovering across the room and smashing into the wall behind me. Ultimately, though, he brushed it off and stood up straight once again.

I was growing more and more frustrated, and I really didn't want to end this dream in a complete failure, since this jackass was too stubborn to want to fight me. I wanted to fight someone, at least. Phasing back through the window, I took off into the (still night) sky, leaving Spider-Man to his anti-social self. Screw him, anyway. I wanted to fight Goku!

The dream went into this really weird, very trippy flight sequence, where the sky would turn this kaleidoscope of colors while I went on my search for Goku. There were weird creatures flying around, and some of them were talking all kinds of nonsense. Everything turned 2-D and cartoonish. Total DBZ environment. It actually looked a lot like I was flying through Snake Way.

The clouds cleared, and I was then flying over a mountainous terrain while one of the creatures were telling me about how some villains were hiding in the caves and building a huge 'space craft' (and that this was inherently bad, for some reason or another), so I decided to go and find them. I landed at the mouth of a cave and wandered into the darkness, growing slightly anxious at what I might find, but trying to keep my anxiety down, so as not to produce a nightmare. While walking through the winding tunnel, dragging one hand along the rocky wall in order to keep myself grounded by feeling around the environment, I was suddenly confronted by two alien henchmen. Immediately, I curled my hand into a fist and charged a sphere of energy around it. It even made the familiar sound effect of a ki blast charging, from the DBZ cartoon (though it was unintentional, and it was funny when I heard it, because it was completely unexpected). I quickly spun in place and fired two blasts from my hand at the henchmen, the explosions filling the hallway with smoke and debris. When the smoke began to fade, I saw that at least one of them were still standing. I dashed toward him and tried swinging a barrage of punches. However, all I got was the 'underwater' feeling that I sometimes get when trying to punch things. Through the smoke, I could hear the alien laugh and say something like "you're funny," in a completely childish manner. Just as this was beginning to frustrate me, the dream scene changed again.

I was then at my Aunt's house (but it was different than it is in waking life), and sitting on her couch. I was still lucid, and beginning to think that this dream wasn't going to be lasting much longer, so I began trying to backtrack and go over the past events of the dream in my head, in order to keep the memories fresh in my mind. My cousin came out from a bedroom, and she had another (gorgeous girl) with her, whom was also being identified as another cousin, even though she was a complete stranger to me. They said that they had just voted, for their first time, and were tired after doing a lot of studying on the candidates and the voting process. It was around here, when I noticed that neither of them were wearing any clothes. Unable to resist, I started sizing up the unfamiliar girl, and getting a little 'hands-on'.

Not wanting the dream to fade, I looked at my hands again, not wanting another premature scene change. I noticed that the weird tattoo I'd had before had returned, and it was now going all the way up my arm, to the shoulder. When I looked back at the girls, I saw that they had similar markings up their arms, as well as parts of their faces and heads. It was very tribal-looking, and kind of cool, but I already had my intentions set. The unfamiliar girl and I began to fool around on the couch, but just as things were starting to really get going (keeping it vague and appropriate, since I'm writing this at work ), I felt the clarity of the dream slipping away from me. I tried to run my fingers along her skin some more, to keep things going, but I was already stuck with the idea of waking up, and the thought of the dream ending pulled me too far away from it all to get it back.

Having just barely gotten inside this tattooed beauty, I woke up.

    4. 10/27/2014 - Untitled Fragment; "Coke Challenge"; "Superhero Scapegoat"

by , 11-06-2014 at 02:45 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
(I was attempting to complete Hukif's Lucid Dare; challenging me to fight Spider-Man, without the aid of Lucid Powers. After waking up and doing a few brain-teasers, at about 5 a.m., I went back to sleep with the intention of finding and fighting Spider-Man.)

      10/27/2014
      Fragment One
      Untitled

I was at an outdoor festival with friends. A specific girl I was chilling with was absolutely gorgeous (tall, exotic, dirty-blonde hair. Reminded me a little of AP), and we were getting really cozy; hugged up on each other and dozing off while I was rubbing my fingers along her thigh.

      Dream Two
      "Coke Challenge"

I had a false awakening, where I woke in my Canterbury bedroom. There was barely any light coming in through the window, but I could tell that the room was different (from my present one), but couldn't recognize how. While I was trying to figure it out, a young boy walked into my room, immediately alarming me because I always keep my door locked when I sleep.

He stood in the shadows of the doorway, trying to grab my attention, talking about how I should come and try the "coke (cocaine) and [something?]" that he'd just made. I sat up in bed and started questioning him about who he was and how the Hell he got into my room. He seemed to try to avoid my questions, remaining suspiciously quiet and just standing at the open doorway.

"This is a dream, isn't it?" I asked, rhetorically.

The moment I became lucid, the dream transitioned (or ended).

      Dream Three
      "Superhero Scapegoat"

I was back with the girl from the original dream, and we were walking down the sidewalk of a city street. There was a bank, off to our left, and we turned to step inside...walking right into the middle of a bank robbery in progress.

The thieves were running in and out of the back of the bank, taking turns leaving carts of money for short periods, before coming back in and grabbing as much more as they could. I don't remember actually seeing any employees or customers. With one of the carts being near to us, my lady-friend and I simply couldn't resist grabbing onto the handles and rushing over to the door with the cart, trying to wheel the money out. (Not that I would have ever done that, in waking life, but it was just made sense, in the dream. Lol.)

There was some cloth hanging from the car (with a design on it like the gray and black plaid on my PJ pants) and it got stuck in a closing door on our way out. Before we could get ourselves unstuck, a man with a gun appeared before us. It was the alleged 'boss' of this operation, and he was looking to get onto us about trying to steal 'his' money. I also remember that there was some lackey helping him out, a midget who was dressed in some sort of animal costume. He didn't stay long, though.

The crime boss, ironically, turned us in to the police, convincing them that we were the ones who orchestrated and executed the entire heist. Strangely enough, though, he said that there was one other person helping us: Spider-Man.

While we were being escorted toward the police station, so was the Webslinger. He was surrounded by about a dozen officers with automatic weapons trained on him, walking solemnly toward the front steps of the precinct. I could see a large, armored vehicle nearby, which is what I think they delivered him in. Even with his mask on, I could tell by his body language that he seemed completely defeated and dejected while they ushered him to jail.

That's the last thing I remember.

      (Damn! So close! )
    5. Giant Iron Man From 2002

by , 09-06-2014 at 10:54 PM (My Dream Goals)
I was floating in a red void in the 3rd person with a giant iron man in front of me. This dream was recurring, and for some reason I thought it was a nightmare, so I'd become lucid at this time, although I'd usually wake up as I did not know what you could do with lucid dreams. If I remained asleep, the giant iron man would punch me and I would begin to tumble and float to the right. I'd pass a few random objects and some sort of moaning cartoon characters before landing on a gray floor. I would see a black ghost/spectre thing, and I'd wake up a few seconds later.

If you would like to see the dream, watch this video:

    6. Harry Potter and the Tribulation, Now with More Vampires [graphic]

      by , 07-02-2014 at 04:27 AM
06-26-2014 -- [Almost a sort of fever dream ... very stream of consciousness, with me kind of slipping in and out of sleep, trying to remember the odd bits I was just dreaming, except the moment I slip back into the dreams, everything is different than it was a moment ago ... makes for a very confusing and difficult to remember dream.] Starts where I am Harry Potter, being chased around what mostly seems to be the muggle world, but slowly it is changing to where I am not so much being chased, but fighting off some sort of possession. Usually I am pretty successful at this, but at one point I am riding along on a bus when I start being possessed, and somehow this time I cannot fight it off. I am being taken over and being forced to rape a teenage girl. The problem is, whoever is possessing me is gripping my manhood and kind of stretching it and fluffing it and making it larger and larger. Meanwhile the girl is getting younger and smaller by the moment, and by the time I start to do this horrid thing, I am sticking an organ about two feet long and eight inches thick into a helpless toddler who more or less explodes around me. Then it is just over.

I am sitting somewhere, reading comic books, and I find that somebody has released a superhero comic about the book of Revelations, the rapture, the tribulation, and the mark of the beast. And somehow, in the dream, this is much more moving and hard-hitting because it is written about an absurdly unreal super powered character going through the tribulation period. Then suddenly I am a little kid, standing on a field, playing soccer with a bunch of other little kids, and playing really, really badly. None of us know how to play or have any athletic talent. Just very weird stuff.

Then I am Harry Potter with the comic book again, and I am freaking out a little, because I have been in at least four different Bible studies in the last couple of weeks with four different groups, and all of them have been about the tribulation period and the rapidly approaching end of the world. And I am really getting scared, because I have also recently been bitten by a vampire, and have the two deep, drained puncture wounds in my wrist to prove it. I know about the vampires in the book of Revelations, and combined with all these recent Bible studies and my possession and the horrible thing I was forced to do, I am almost convinced that the tribulation period has already begun, the rapture has already happened, and I have been left behind, along with all the people that I thought were good Christians who I looked up to. Its terrifying.

Which is how I find myself 20 or 30 feet in the air, kind of perched on a telephone wire, dressed as Batman, thinking about everything while staring down at the Celebration Bible study below me, which I am supposed to be attending. I'm just trying to get my mind together, and figure out if I can even still attend the Bible study at this point. But a young punk down in the group (who is now Batman, and I am not) spots me and starts yelling at me. I am holding up the group, and who do I think I am? And if I am so irresponsible, and it means so little to me, maybe I shouldn't be in the group ... so I quit on the spot, and walk away, only to find myself standing in a rehearsal hall with Tom D. He's working on top of a huge (as in 40' diameter) silver balloon. I fly up there and face him, and explain that I have left the group, and how I fear we've missed the rapture, and I suddenly remember having almost the exact same talk with him a couple of weeks ago. But now there is the vampire bite and the comic book, and a couple more Bible studies, and it just keeps getting more serious.

And suddenly I am on a freeway interchange that I have dreamed about before that is part Orlando, part California, part Nebraska. On one side is a very built up city, and on the other is a flat farmland rural area. I am in a car with some lady that I can't put a name to, and we just finished a visit to some out-in-the-middle-of-nowhere amusement park (think Magic Mountain) and are debating what to do next week while making multiple lane changes between at least three freeways on a massive cloverleaf. We then pull off on a shoulder that is covered in overgrown wild flowers as we try to decide where we want to go to eat.
    7. A bunch of superhero movies I've never actually seen, faerie folk and idolizing writers

      by , 09-24-2013 at 09:08 PM
Fragment involving Ben Affleck and people complaining about a Fantastic Four movie.

      (Woke up. Back to sleep.)

X-Men fragment involving Erik and Charles (as played by McKellan and Stewart) having an argument about something involving a young man, a mutant who lives with them; one of them leaves with the young man. Scene changes so that this is a movie I'm watching, I'm explaining to someone who just came in that this was the last time they saw each other for 9 years. On screen, it's now some kind of opening credits for the Avengers showing various backstories, some actual Avengers characters (Loki, Banner, "Hawkguy", deliberately misspelled - nothing for Iron Man though he shows up later for the fight sequence), mostly characters made up for the dream, one guy with a Buddhist hell motif, leading into a fight sequence in New York, complete with a very dramatic soundtrack featuring classical singers.

Scene changes, ditches the TV framing. Dream's now following a man in a suit who's standing on a New York street, looking up at the Avengers flying around fighting each other, when this woman says to him, "But do they care a touch for the wedding of the moor folk?" Moor here meaning the type of land, moor folk meaning faerie folk. They hold each other's gaze for a moment, she grins, he laughs, low and strange. She continues, "You weren't thinking, were you?" She's a red-haired woman with an Irish accent, wearing a veil, though the wedding she mentioned isn't hers, and looking very out of place on the streets of New York with a bunch of flying lunatics duking it out in the background.

(Woke up. Reflected that this was obviously inspired by a conversation yesterday, about the spin-off show starting today and how I still haven't gotten around to seeing the Avengers movie, and how that must have made me subconsciously remember the X-men movie that I also haven't gotten around to seeing - completely forgetting at the time about the Affleck dream which seems to have actually kickstarted this whole superhero thing. Although I haven't seen the latest Batman either, so I guess that still fits the theme. Anyway - decided to finally get around to watching that movie before the spin-off airs, went back to sleep, and making that decision seemed to do the trick, no more superhero dreams tonight.)

Fragment involving driving to the beach with IRL acquaintances and seeing Iolaus on the side of the road, looking out over a river.

False awakening - don't remember the actual waking up part, but I was in my IRL home talking about the previous dream scene as a dream, and went on to talk about skinny dipping and Xena (separate topics). Over-steeped the tea while I was talking and went to toss it out, outside.

Outside I'm on a city street, and the trash can I use is right in front of a bookshop. Looking over the books in the window display, I start thinking about idolizing people and forgetting that they're only human, and eventually seeing their flaws and feeling let down, although you're the one who put them on a pedestal in the first place. Thinking about viewing the work and the writer separately as a balancing act, being able to see a writer's flaws as a person and to love their stories without the one contradicting the other. And the flip side of that, thinking about the stress on people who are idolized.

As I walk back to my apartment, I pass a cafe where a writer I know (a DC, no resemblance to any IRL writers I'm aware of) is sitting at a table with two women young enough to be his daughters or granddaughters. I stop to talk, and I say to him something along the lines of, yeah, you're idolized and you're only human, but the way you use your young, impressionable groupies is seriously creepy. One of the women gets up and leaves. The other stays.

But when I'm back in my apartment (which no longer bears any resemblance to IRL) and making a fresh cup of tea, I turn around and find that the woman who'd stayed is now sitting in my kitchen. I offer her a cup, she says no. She tells me haltingly that she's thinking about getting a job to support herself - maybe working for a political campaign, maybe going back to college, getting a degree and working in publishing - instead of relying on her writing.

    8. Critiquing dream magic applications, books, Bush, witches and Superman.

      by , 08-24-2013 at 09:44 PM
3rd person. A military camp at night, raining hard, ground's mostly mud, the dogs and eagles used for running messages are having a rough time of it - at which point the dream switches to 1st person. I'm standing outside the dream, watching it, complaining to a woman with me about the use of animal messengers. "These people can create magic doorways linking one place to another, why are they still using messengers? Why do they even have supply lines?" She tries to say it's probably just shorthand, but I'm not impressed by this excuse. It annoys me that magic is only being used for flashy combat techniques and such when it could be put to so much better logistic use, it's a complete waste of manpower.

The next ASOIAF book comes out, and I skim the first few chapters and find a pleasant surprise: another Melisandre POV chapter. I settle in to read.

3rd person, following a woman who works at a newsstand that former president Bush II used to walk past every day as part of his routine, a long time ago. Now he's here with a bandage around his head, blood showing through, looking dazed. This happens twice. Both times he's found and picked up by his own security, but the woman is thinking to herself he 'looks the way he did in 2004,' meaning on the verge of death. The second time this happens he nearly walks into traffic, looking as if this isn't something he wants to do but is unable to stop himself. Unable to think straight, his mind is following an old routine.

A woman took me back to her home and left me to sleep, and now I'm hiding behind a door and watching her tend to a crying man, seeming to comfort him. In actuality, the scarf she wears around her hair is soaked in tears; this is how the witch feeds.

(Woke up with comparisons to Circe on my mind for that last one. Back to sleep.)

3rd person following a couple who meet for lunch every day, sitting at the outdoor tables of a cafe in a major city. He's a writer, and she used to read his stories during her breaks and tell him what she thought at lunch, but with this most recent book she finds she's got less and less time for it and finds herself making excuses: "I had a few moments in class, but..." He dislikes that she seems to feel obligated to read it, and tries to tell her there's no reason she should be spending all her free time on his writing, but when he says this out loud it just sounds like they're drifting apart. He gives her a peck on the cheek as they stand up from the table, and as he leaves he passes two women bending their heads together for a kiss.

I'm running some kind of transdimensional superhero team (though everyone here's wearing suits and ties, thank god, or casual clothes in Banner's case; no spandex in sight), and we've just encountered this reality's version of Superman, a version who grew up not on Earth but as the only living creature on a dead planet, raised by recordings, never understanding what had happened to everybody else.
    9. Marvel vs DC, James Bond and Future Knowledge, Risk and Mind Reading (Fragments)

      by , 01-24-2013 at 06:58 PM
01-24-2013 -- [Was sick yesterday, and dozed a lot, which means a very bad night of sleeping last night. Seems like I was waking up every 10 to 15 minutes. Because of this, though I had some great dreams or dream fragments, I couldn't take the time to write them down, or I'd have never gotten back to sleep. So, all I could do was memorize a general setting, so we'll have to see just how much of these I can manage to recall.]

Playing some sort of computer game, hints of maybe Runescape or Roller Coaster Tycoon, but its a live version, not playing on the computer. Anyway, I am running around and planting some seeds or placing some flowerbeds or things like that, and I soon find myself running through some odd rooms that kind of make me think of the flash powder factory.

Buried deep in this factory, something is going on, and people's lives are being threatened, and suddenly there is a super hero there to help save the day. I am thinking it might be Aquaman. Darn it. This was the earliest fragment of the night, and also one of the most interesting, but more and more of it is gone.

Anyway, we're now doing things in this area (not that I spend enough time in the flash powder factory to be sure that is where this is, but it is a place with odd rooms, obstacles and traps to make your way through) and there are a soon two or three heroes to help us. But if there are super-powered beings to help us, surely that'll mean there are super-powered beings against us, as well.

Sure enough, as we continue to fight through the area, we start being attacked by other super-powered beings. For our protection, the heroes are loading us into a sort of shuttle craft and launching it, hoping to get us away to safety ... if it can withstand the attack of the bad guys. I think there was some throwaway comment about Doctor McCoy not having a chance to test it because of the timing.

So there are super villains surrounding the shuttle as it takes off, and almost immediately the floor is buckling from multiple hits as I *think* Doctor Octopus is under there pounding on it with all his mechanical arms, and as the floor breaks in, the entire shuttle shakes apart. Suddenly we having flying or powered heroes (Superman, Iron Man, the likes) grabbing us and trying to fly after us, while similar heroes and villains are trying to stop them and catch us, all as shuttle bits rain down on the Earth. It was a rather cool scene.

      ---

I was down at the corner house at Hickory and Greenleaf, and we were in the process of putting up some Christmas decorations without the owner's approval, when the owner came bursting out with the cops. Somebody had been doing something bad around the place. I was afraid I would be in trouble, but the owner of the house says he isn't worried about the people that add to his Christmas decorations, even if he doesn't understand why they do, and I explain that we just like the two houses on the ends of the block to be really well decorated as they help to represent the neighborhood and draw people in to look at the decorations. Weird.

      ---

Half watching, half living a James Bond movie, that may have a small bit at a super market (I can remember just a hint) before a chase started. James was chasing the villain through a long tunnel in a mountain, while we're kind of watching the chase on some kind of monitor. We can see they are about to exit the tunnel, and we're right about the timing. But suddenly things shift to a meeting room where M and a couple of her people are meeting with another high government official, and it turns out to be the guy that James was chasing. He's within the government, itself, and they don't yet have the evidence to bring him down.

Soon I find myself standing in what half feels like a class room, and half seems to be a store in a mall. I have just finished watching the James Bond movie, and in a discussion about it, I end up winking at a sort of cute girl. Unfortunately, just about that time I start to recognize some things, and realize that I have been through this before, and some crooks are just about to attack this place.

Sure enough, four or five thugs burst into the room and start shooting. I act like I've been hit and collapse to the ground, while everybody else is running around screaming and getting shot. I start grabbing other people's legs and telling them "Get down, you fools!" and some listen and some don't. Eventually the bad guys quit shooting, and start to check on who they have and what shape they are in, and begin making threats for the information they want.

I've bided my time, and when they aren't expecting it, I strike back, knock some of them out, and me and some of the others make a break for it. As we make it out of the building we were in, but are still crossing the lawn to the parking lot, we see an attractive young woman still pushing her grandmother's wheelchair away from the scene, and we'd hoped they would have already gotten out of here, but I remember from the past time that they don't have anything the bad guys want, so I urge for us to keep on running, and tell them to continue fleeing as I can.

As we reach our cars and start driving off, I'm shown to have known what I was talking about, as the crooks run right past them, to reach their cars and continue chasing us. Soon we're driving through the streets, being pursued. I think eventually we have a confrontation in a mall parking lot, along with the cute lady, her grandmother, and her kids, who have been dragged back into things, but most the details are gone. Still a fun dream, though.

      ---

I'm not sure which came first, the game or the diner, so I'm just going to put the game first. I am sitting at a small card table somewhere, with a game of Risk before me. I am considering playing a game with myself, but find each color only seems to have 15 or 20 army pieces which aren't going to be enough to play with. So I am looking for the box, hoping it will contain more army pieces.

As I am looking, a couple of other people decide they are going to play, also, and sit down. But if we are going to play, there are things we need to do, including deal out the cards to claim the territories and roll dice to decide who is going to go first. So one guy, who might be Dave D., rolls his die, and I roll mine, and since I only rolled a one, it looks like he'll be going first. So I am in the middle of dealing the cards out into two piles, and two more people decide to join, so Dave grabs another stack of cards, and starts dealing them out for the other two people, and we have to redo the rolling to see who goes first.

Soon I find myself sitting in a diner, right as my food is being brought to me. I think I have a burger and some nice, crispy french fries. There is a guy sitting next to me, clean cut, seems friendly, very unoffensive. Seems like a cross between a Jimmy Stewart character and the 'Happiest Man in Springfield', just a really sweet, easy going guy.

Who doesn't seem to be from around here. He has ordered a meal and is waiting for it, but he doesn't seem to know what it is he is getting. He points at my fries and asks what they are, and I tell him they are french fries. The waitress comes up and asks him if she misunderstood him. Maybe he wants a baked potato instead? No, he says, some of these 'fries' should be just fine.

It's an old-style diner, which may make some sort of sense, because soon the buildings are shaking and bombs are falling from the sky, and it turns out to be in the middle of a battlefield somewhere in World War Two. I'm running out of the diner and looking for places I am needed, and I guess 'Jimmy' does as well.

Soon I see him standing near a soldier crouched with a radio (looks much like one of those little green army men from when I was a kid). It seems he can kind of read minds, even if he doesn't have nearly any clue of what it is he is hearing. So he is just babbling random thoughts and sentences in this guy's ear, of the various thoughts he is picking up, most of which are worthless, until suddenly he starts reading the orders that the enemy troops are being given, as they are being given, which is some very helpful information.

      ---

Probably at least one or two more fragments from the night, but I simply can't remember them at this time.
    10. Malfoys on a Killing Spree, Runescape Hunting, Superheroes and Deliveries (Fragments)

      by , 01-04-2013 at 06:41 PM
01-03-2012 -- [Bladder infection, only a nap on the third, and constantly waking on the 4th. Mostly very odd fragments, and stuff that is all over the place.]

I think this was a long, involved dream that I mostly can't remember. It felt like a cross between Harry Potter (for the characters), Game of Thrones (for the type and feel of the human evil and sense of betrayal throughout) and perhaps a hint of Wheel of Time for a Dark One-like sense of all-pervading evil in the background.

Almost all of the Malfoys and their relatives have gone on a complete killing spree, viciously murdering all over the place, except Narcissa, who has decided it is all a bit much, and she can't do this anymore. She decides to approach me (Harry Potter) and team with me to try and stop her relatives, while hiding that she has changed sides, so she doesn't get killed, herself.

There's a lot here, but I can't remember most of it. Eventually, we're bringing a battle to fruition in an area with a small hill between us an the enemy. We're sending some sort of combination of robot and golem to attack the enemy on the other side of the hill, and it lands on him, crushing him, as we move on to a major confrontation.

Soon Narcissa is standing next to her sister on a tennis court, along with me and what looks like Wolverine. She is pointing to many of her servants who are playing tennis, and commenting on how they all are in such good shape, and have the bodies of gods and goddesses, before telling her sister we are all going down, but she is going to start with the others that Narcissa has fallen for. She suddenly produces Wolverine-style claws from her own hands, and dices Wolverine up, blood, bits of body, and limbs splattering everywhere, very vividly, before turning to me, as Narcissa screams in horror. [Being that it is Wolverine, he might manage to heal, but in the dream I didn't think of that. We were both convinced we'd lost a partner and were probably going down.]

      ---

01-04-2013 -- First dream of night, really short, limited and fragmented: Playing Runescape, and everything is blending together. I am hunting lots of little blue implings, moving marmasaw plants, perhaps penguins, and all kinds of other stuff, all at the same time. just wandering around, grabbing things at the same time.

      ---

01-04-2013 -- More hunting bits as noted above, except I am now making grabs for tiny red, green and blue implings which seem to add to the stats of my red, green, and blue crewmen on the player owned ports minigame. I'm really trying to advance these characters, even while also getting involved in some of of dating situation (being set up on dates or something) which Melody has started.

Somehow I end up going out to some kind of church event (Church of the Nazarene setting, Pine Castle Methodist people?) that leads into a bit of super hero stuff. We're urging everybody to show up for some sort of meeting or revelation of something, where Superman will provide the answer we need. (Answer to what, I don't know.) I am Clark / Superman, dressed up as Clark right now, and we're gathering people around the Euclid overpass.

There turn out to be a ton more people than we expect, so many that they can't be counted, and they fill up all space as far as we can see. Far more than we expected. There is nowhere for me to duck into to change into Superman without being seen, so I more or less accept that I am going to have to reveal myself in front of everybody. I'm just beginning to undo my shirt to reveal the costume underneath, when something happens and everybody starts to disperse again, satisfied with what has occurred, so I start to button my shirt again.

Soon I am Spider-Man (not in costume) and Superman is traveling with me, as I am arriving back home at the Hickory house. The oldest kid from Home Improvement is there (Zachery Ty Bryan), and he's a bit of a punk, and is threatening us and saying he killed my sister. He is also making some very odd comment that goes nowhere, that the command staff of the Starship Enterprise has been replaced with doubles.

Superman, flying in with his x-ray vision, identifies a recently buried body in the ground at either Vinnie's house or Robby's, so it seems the kid was serious. Kind of ticks us off. We head inside the house, and it turns out we are kind of babysitting the kid, watching over him and trying to keep him out of trouble. This is difficult because he has somehow gained some of our powers. (We have them, too, he hasn't taken them from us, he has just gained them, as well.) Thankfully he seems more interested in pranking his younger brothers than using his powers for more major evil.

He is 'writing' on his brothers' shirt with water, then putting flour on it to write mean slogans in white. He is doing the same for his own shirt, but using it to add a number like a sports jersey. But of course, being in flour, it's making a bit of a mess. There is an attractive young lady who wants to take over his care, but we tell her we really think we're better suited to handle him, though we can't tell her why. ("Yeah, he's developed super powers, so we need to use our super powers to keep him under control." That'll go over well.) Just weird.

      ---

01-04-2013 -- Making a delivery somewhere down toward Fort Lauderdale, and have already dropped off the package. I'm thinking to myself 'wouldn't it be neat to run into Amy F. while I was down here?' and sure enough, as I glance into the open door of an apartment, there she is. It seems they are still moving stuff in to the new place. I try to say hello and make conversation, but she just glances at me, then ignores me.

I don't really know what is up, but I wonder if maybe she just doesn't recognize me, even though my picture is on my Facebook account, which is where I now know her from. [An acquaintance from high school who recently moved to Florida, and who I do now know from Facebook.] But anyway, she doesn't seem to want to acknowledge me, so I just turn around to leave.

I try to walk back to my car, but oddly enough, I just can't find it. I am walking up and down rows of apartments, looking at the cars out front, but I just can't seem to find mine. Suddenly I stop and ask myself what car am I looking for? Was I driving the purple car? No. Red? I come up with a sort of off-white not-quite-beige four door sedan that doesn't really match any car I have ever driven, and start looking again, at least now knowing what it is I am looking for.

Somehow mom is there for a minute or two, and I visit with her. Then I pass back by Amy's apartment again. This time her guy is there, and decides to talk to me for a few minutes. He seems friendly, and we have no problems or anything. Oddly enough, Keffer and Tucker are there (my past landlord's Bijons) and he has opened the pet gate to bring stuff through, and is surprised when the dogs go running off through it. But he says he'll get them, and goes running after them.

I can hear him calling for them, and getting more and more frantic, so I follow him out. The dogs are running all over the place, and paying him no mind whatsoever, but when I start calling to them a couple of times they come running up to me, and I get them back inside the dog gate again. Never do see any sign of my car, though.
    11. Last few days' dreams: Political meeting, short lucid flying, superheroes with swords

      by , 10-16-2012 at 08:04 AM (Exterminate)
      Political dream 10/12

There was this huge building, it had about 3-4 floors but the shape resembled the worlds largest round barn in Marshfield, Wisconsin. It had many glass windows with futuristic feel to it. My mom and dad were downstairs, listening to Mitt Romney speak. In this timeline Mitt Romney had become President. I was on the second floor listening to Mitt Romney's brother, Scott. He was doing a press briefing for Mitt. I was impressed that he could answer every question given to him so well. Apparently he knew his brother better than Mitt knew himself. Throughout the press briefing Scott's phone kept ringing. I don't remember him answering it. He just held this large dinosaur of a cell phone in his hand and made witty comments about it any time it rang. He was interesting to listen to, but eventually I got bored and went downstairs to see if mom and dad were done yet.

      Short Lucidity 10/13

My aunt and uncle visited our house. They were looking at how different it was since they were last there. I was lounging on the double recliner in our living room which I normally use while browsing my laptop. My relatives were in awe of how beautiful our house was, which was odd. Our house isn't all that special in waking life. I never actually saw much of the house in the dream but it did indeed seem fancier than normal. I got up and found myself in a covered porch. It had a really nice glass roof and the walls were made of logs. I then went outside with my family, continuing the tour. While listening to their conversation I suddenly realized I was dreaming. I have no clue how I knew, but once I noticed I flew straight into the air. Both fists facing the sky I decided "Why not fly to outer space?" I looked down and the ground was so far away. I felt amazed by how easy it always is to fly, then out of nowhere I slam to the ground. I fall so quickly I am thinking "I am dreaming, but I will hit the ground so hard I may die. What is going to happen?" I blacked out for a second, and got back up. I felt sick out of nowhere, but decided to fly back into the air. I got a short distance up and the dream ended.
When I stated I felt sick, it is funny because when I woke up I felt really sick. I had a runny nose, headache, soar throat. I guess my symptoms started showing in my lucid. It is better now two days later, I have just a runny nose now, but still pretty interesting to note.

      Superhero dream 10/15

I remembered more about this dream once I woke up but I have not been thinking about the dream at all today so that may affect my recall.
I had spider-man's powers, a stranger had super strength, and my brother had some other superhero's powers. My main goal personally, as well as others was to get, or rather make, swords. I had mine perfectly planned out, what materials it would be made of, the colors, the size, the shape. I don't believe I ever got the full sword sadly, but I recall messing with my powers. I would swing webs to a tall building, and stick on the side of it. I could hear the stranger and my brother talking from inside the building. I don't remember what they were saying, but their conversation led me to believe they were villains. I then tried to see how many webs I could shoot at once. I sent two, then a third, and the first disappeared. I then heard some cops arriving, and swung away to avoid confrontation.

Not sure if it was the same dream or not, but later me and my brother were at home and it was night time. I heard a sound outside which turned out to be our mother making a surprise visit. We had something out in the open in the house that made us having powers dead obvious. Whatever it was must have been something only a super would have. We quickly hid the item and sat in our respective spots on the dual recliner as if nothing happened just as our she walked in. She was none the wiser of who or what we were.

    12. The White Death

      by , 08-12-2011 at 09:30 AM
This is an old dream, of which I recall visiting a large, white, featureless building on this rainy night. I was expecting to visit Dad, who had found employment there by some means as a medical coder. When I went inside, everything was as clear and as white as the building’s surface. Its residents, or employees, were strangely very pale and rather uncanny. They all spoke in monotone, and I swore that if I looked away, the entireties of their eyes blackened within my peripheral vision.

There were framed pictures throughout, group photos including the manager of this place and some CEO-type guy. Everyone in it was paler than a ghost, so I was somewhat disturbed as I searched for my Dad. I eventually came upon a room in which he was on a white desk, tapping keys on his white computer. When I approached him, I argued that we leave this creepy place before anything bad actually happens to us. He disagreed, whispering to me that his actions were all part of a plan to sabotage these people. I didn’t know who they were or what they were capable of, but I was certainly going to find out.

Dad and I exited the building, ignoring the hollow glances of the many pale men and women of the business. It felt like they continued staring at us even after we passed them by, suspicious of our actions.

It was a rainy morning at home, when I met an intruder storming our kitchen counter. I confronted him and beat him to submission while he screamed and jittered maniacally, leaving a trail of post-it notes yielding clues as to the nature of his organization. Dad took him away for interrogation as I reviewed each note. I don’t remember the exact details I found, but I do remember reacting as if I were horribly disturbed, and terrified of what these strange, pale people did that caught my father’s interests.

Dad returned with our handcuffed intruder, telling me that us two should “suit up.” I would have asked why, but circumstances made the answer obvious. So, boom! Like many more dreams I'll copy from my handwritten DJ, we donned our costumes and became Batman and Robin!

A moment later, more pale people (this time in Mardi gras attire) swarmed our house, visible through our windows as they ran about to attack the entrances with their many serrated blades. The first wave to enter our house was met with our hostage, who we threw into the crowd, disorienting our enemies long enough for us to beat them to pulps with our fists and our feet. We improvised by stealing the unconscious’ blades to confront the many intruders in our back yard, gradually fighting them off as we cleared wave after wave from each part of the house.

      And… that’s all I remember.
    13. Superheroes, flooding, and trains.

by , 05-06-2011 at 04:07 PM (Visions in the Dark)
This dream starts off in a big city with many tall skyscrapers. I think it may be New York city but I am not sure. I am a little girl of about 5 or 6 years old. I cannot remember the beginning of the dream but it has something to do with Batman, Superman and another superhero that I cannot remember now. They find me in a mysterious temple or something and take me with them back to their base in the big city. I discover while there that, despite having a child'd body and am very old and I do not age physically. I also discover that I can fly and at nighttime I fly above the skyscrapers of the city and look down at everything below.

One night something happens and the whole city floods. Only the tops of the tallest buildings can be seen and despite that fact that many people probably lost their lives the superheroes are flying around the sky with me and laughing and joking and stuff. They also do not seem to be doing anything to reverse the flood and I wonder to myself why they did nothing to stop it from hapening in the first place.

We eventually return to a fancy skyscraper that has become a refugee camp of sorts. Many floors are occupied by people escaping the water but the very top floor is reserved for superheroes and their families and friends. The hour is late and in the main room their is a party of some sort going on and I am put into a room with other children to sleep. I am on a bed and the rest of the children are on the floor. There is no lock on the door however and many times drunk individuals, including drunk superheroes, come into the room and start arguing or fighting with each other. The noise wakes me up and I ask them to leave, pointing out that their are children trying to sleep. The last time this happens one male superhero (Cyclops or Gambit?) retorts sarcastically "You're not a child!"

The dream changes in landscape but I am still a small child. It is sunset and I am somewhere I do not recognize. It is a large hilly field, with a red brick building on one side and a forest on the other. On the other side of the red brick building is a river with a train bridge and a watch tower in the center of it. The field is also crisscrossed with traintracks that sometimes randomly change position. I am alone at first but then find my parents. We are close to the train bridge watching the trains. My mother says something about my father inhereting a train baron's fortune soon, because he is next in line. My father doubts this and says the person a head of him in inheritance is young. There are so many traintracks crisscrossed everwhere that it is almost impossible not to stand on any tracks. Trains come almost nonstop so we are constantly moving around from one track to another so we don't get hit.

Cats start appearing. Some of the cats I recognize from waking life, and other I do not, but almost all are dressed in somesort of clothing and all are on the traintracks, seemingly unaware of the danger of the approching trains, like they cannot see or hear them. I am panicking and trying to save the cats by picking them up off the tracks, just barely missing a huge freight train every time. Every time I pick up a cat it disappears and another cat appears somewhere on the tracks. My parents are indifferent and tell me that I am wasting my time. Finally that cats begin disappearing and the last cat, my first cat Bambi, is saved just and time, and she does not disappear as I hold her in my arms.

My parents are talking to a man in the watchtower on the bridge and they find out that he works directly for the train baron. My dad starts arguing with the man about the inheritance or something and my mother and I wander off into the traintrack covered field. The trains seem to have stopped for now. I look up in the sky and see the full moon and guess that it is close to midnight. My father eventully catches up to us and I ask my parent's where my brothers are. They do not know what I am taling about. I tell them that I have two older brothers but they claim that I am their only child. I think it is weird they say that because I am sure that I had two older brothers, but their denial neither upsets nor thrills me and I am quite passive and indifferent about the news.

The trains start coming again from all directions, but this time they glow neon colours and are very bright. Some are even see through, like ghosts. My dad tells me to stand my ground and the trains will not hurt me. I am too scared at first but with one train I jump away at the last second it nicks my hip and upper leg on the right side. I am scared and upset because I feel intense pain in my upper leg and hip and nothing my father says after that can convince me to not fear the glowing trains, whom he insists cannot hurt me. I cannot remember how this dream ends.

BTW in this dream, i have multiple superpowers. They just come to me.

There was a beginning to this dream but i don't remember. Anyways, me and another person are talking to eachother in a small room that's connected to a small hanger for planes. He shape-shifts into Jusitn Beiber. I give him a nasty look then shape-shift into a big black guy to mess with him. We keep shape-shifting for some time before we go outside.

Outside is the rest of our superhero team. I don't remember them all, but i do know that Professor Farnsworth from Futurama was one of them. One of them gives me a grenade and tells me, "We picked this up from our enemies. Why don't you give it a throw to see the power of it". I give it a large toss and it lands 30 yards away. A purple smoke emits from it with electricity running through it. Someone tells me to suppress it. I move my hand over it and focus on suppressing it.

It's too powerful for me to suppress. My team keeps telling me to suppress and keep saying its too much. Just then i finally couldn't hold it any longer and the gas breaks free. A 8 or 9 story woman appears. She starts destroying the city. Everyone in our team splits up and starts attacking it. I can't fly but i can jump fairly well. I jump up, charge a lightening ball in my hands, and shoot it at her. She barely moves from it.

We fight for several minutes doing the same thing and she eventually goes into a smaller size, and smaller and smaller. Then the genius i am, i throw another grenade, thinking this one was one of my grenades. She grows back to her previous self. Damnit i'm an idiot. Again we are fighting her and it takes many lightening strikes from me and general attacks from the rest of the team to bring her down.

Afterwords i am hanging out in our superhero place and most decide to go on a vacation of some sort. I didn't go for some reason. I'm hanging out at our place when i feel like going there. I teleport to them. I'm in a hotel room with one of them. We talk about something i can't remember. I teleport back. Some friends are over and we are trying to figure out what to watch. I suggest watching a show that has some cool battles in it. It turns out that we were the T.V. show that we watched.

Average non-lucid where zombies were attacking a friends house. I kept running down the stairs with a crossbow and shooting but never killing the zombies. It was kind of stupid for a zombie dream, but it was fun nonetheless.

Kind of proud of myself in the super hero dream. I have never teleported before, nor have i ever been able to shapeshift. So two new things kinda learned.
    15. Trains, Paint, Cows, and the Justice League-Assisted Escape from a Horrible Church Camp, Plus Wolves

      1. I'm on a train with a bunch of drow-elves.
      2. I'm in a classroom, sitting on top of a set of cupboards, making a watercolor painting of a bunch of pink butterflies.
      3. As an odd form of transportation, I'm among a bunch of people who chase cows to their next destination while riding small horses that can be switched for other horses on a bus. I think I eventually get kicked out because I'm too short for the next horse.
      4. I'm forced to attend a church camp. All I want to do is read a comic book I'd brought in peace and quiet, but everyone keeps bothering me because I'm non-religious. Eventually, I can't put up with it anymore, and with the help of The Flash, Green Lantern, Superman, and Wonder Woman, I escape (by opening a window, oddly enough). I try to steal a horse from part 3 of the dream, but instead, I have to take the long route home in order to shake pursuers. There's a lot of hiding in boxes and cupboards, and I don't think I ever manage to get anywhere.
      5. I'm running through a forest with a bunch of oddly-patterned wolves. Then we spot a deer, and next thing I know, I've turned into a wolf, too, and I help the pack bring it down.
