    1. Fortune Cookie and Putting on Shoes

by , 09-02-2014 at 07:59 AM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
I'm standing in a strange room, not really sure where, and realize I'm dreaming. I feel a bit mentally tired for some reason, so I decide to mostly just go with the flow of the dream rather than change it a lot. There is an army general looking guy in front of me, like the Russian guy from November Man. At least that's the role he's playing in my dream. Since I'm dreaming, I hit him across the face a few times to teach him not to be so evil. He just sits there and doesn't do anything, then gets up and motions for me to follow him. He walks over to a door, and opens it to a black void and steps through, disappearing out of the room.

I tell him to, "wait, I just need to find a fortune cookie" as I remember one of the Tasks. I reach into my right pocket expectantly, but its empty. I try my left pocket - empty. I reach into my back pockets, and they are empty too. I notice a shelf on the wall, full of bags of chips. "There's always fortune cookies stashed away on the back of shelves like this" I tell myself as I reach far back. I have to stand on my tip toes to reach back to the end, and I push all the chips over to the right as I feel around back there. Then I feel it - "A'ha!" I'm excited to see what it has to say. Before I open it, I wish that whatever wisdom I receive from this cookie, that it is beneficial for everyone and helps me as well in profound ways. I unwrap it, break it open, and scarf down half of it as I pull the tiny paper out. I notice that it tastes just like a regular fortune cookie.

I look at the fortune, and everything starts to get really blurry and the room starts to spin, everything starts fading as well. It seems like I'm about to wake up. I tell myself that, "I'm in control here, I can do what I want!" and remind myself that I'm dreaming, I have a dream body, and I'm standing in this dream room, about to read a fortune cookie. I'm holding the fortune upside down, so I rotate it right side up. As I do so, the lettering all changes to become very cryptic. I remember from looking at it upside down that it said something to the effect of, "It's godly to have no delusions, but look in your garden" I want to get a more accurate impression of the punctuation, spelling and so forth, but the more I look at the fortune, the more cryptic it becomes until it's just dots and commas, maybe a y and a j on there, but the message has completely changed. I look away and look back, but it is still losing clarity - mark by mark on the tiny paper.

I decide that I've milked that task for all I can so far, and remember the shoe task. I sit down at the table in the same room, and put a shoe on each foot. They just spontaneously appeared in front of me as I sat down, and my feet were just wearing socks, so it was really smooth. They even fit! Just regular running shoes. The room spins a little, and I'm now standing in a hallway, walking through a dorm building to my room. I really have to go to the bathroom, but I again remind myself that I'm dreaming, focus on my body, and my environment, and some sort of plan. That's it, a plan! What was I doing? I remember the shoes task again, but am not really sure I ever tied my shoes.

I walk into my room, the middle of which is a shower, surrounded by bunk beds. I don't see anyone else in the room. The lighting is rather dim, and I'm dressed like I'm about to take a shower (well, not dressed at all it turns out). The water turns on by itself, and the whole room seems to have become a shower. As the water pours down on me, I enjoy how warm and relaxing it feels. Now for the shoes. I normally wouldn't put shoes on in this situation, but I'm not satisfied with how it went earlier. Bending over, shoes again appear next to my feet. Some sort of running shoes again. I put them on, and tie a granny knot on each shoe - now soaked through and through from the shower.

Having to go pee really bad, I question just going in the dream, but don't want to wet myself IRL, so I hold it. Holy crap it burns I have to go so bad though. I remember drinking a 1/2 gallon of water just before bed, so it's probably an accurate signal.

I lose lucidity, and find myself on a boat, being excommunicated from my town, sent south along a river to Mexico or somewhere. Basically anywhere but where I was. It is a nice day, and I enjoy the sun as my room mates and I are floating down stream. I ask where they think we're going, and they don't know. Then my room mate RZ grabs onto a rope, and opens a sail, then jumps off our boat onto a raft. Pulling at the rope, he builds up some tension, then leaps off the raft and flies through the air, leaving us all behind to watch him fly away.

Then I wake up, having to pee, but not that bad.
    2. Trails of Breadcrumbs (brief WILD + 2 DILDS)

      by , 09-02-2014 at 12:37 AM
After several promising WILD attempts failed for no good reason over the last couple weeks, I was afraid I was headed into another dry spell. Then last night, when I wasn't planning to lucid dream at all—having only seven hours to sleep before getting up early for a busy day—I had spontaneous lucids all night during the few short periods I managed to sleep at all, and had to sacrifice even more sleep writing up my notes promptly (as a matter of principle). I should have known better to drink that big mug of coffee before bed on a night when I was likely to be prone to anxiety anyway, but now I can report that caffeine + anxiety make a great lucid trigger!

I went to bed at 12:30am. Knew I needed to wake at 7:30 and intended to go to bed earlier, but I never find it easy to go to bed before midnight unless I'm sick or already exhausted. Woke at 2:30am and realized that the coffee was a mistake: I was now wide awake. To counter the insomnia I started doing counting and deep breathing, basically just like my WILD practice but without the intention to LD. I counted to fifty, one number for each full breath cycle, then left off counting and did the breathing only. I'm not sure how much I actually slept—it felt like I spent a long time in a transitional state—but it was 3:45am when I woke up fully again, this time after slipping spontaneously into the very briefest of WILDs.

Brief WILD: The transition was really interesting, because there must have been a point when I was already asleep, but I still thought I was awake. I know I was confused about this because I was under the impression that while lying in bed I was selecting and leafing through fantasy-game themed magazines from a low shelf that was just to my right, apparently in the bed with me. Of course in waking life there is no such shelf set up in my bed nor any magazines of this kind within arm's reach, distinct evidence that I had dreamed the whole thing. But as I was flipping through through the magazines, I was also well aware that I was in the process of trying to fall asleep, and I even noticed a curious phenomenon: when I closed my eyes, I could still make out blurry forms and colored shapes corresponding to the content printed on the pages I was reading. This made me think that reading through closed eyelids might be a great technique for encouraging REM onset, because it was stimulating pictures to form in my mind. A great technique indeed if you can do it while you're already dreaming! But I didn't realize that at the time.

Eventually I felt the onset of that bodily dislocation that suggested I was close to a WILD transition, and encouraged it. Sometimes I levitate, sometimes I rock or rotate, but this time sinking felt more natural, so I let the sinking sensation grow while thinking, "Down, down," until I felt that the transition was complete. Then I easily "got up" out of bed. However, I still didn't have much control of the dream body, so I discovered that I couldn't stand or walk yet. Instead I collapsed face down on the floor and had to crawl. This didn't alarm me, because I often lack full motor coordination right after the transition. The environment was recognizable as my bedroom but still very murky. My mind felt incredibly active and clear, by contrast—probably because I was barely asleep.

I remember thinking distinctly, "Oh good, I haven't lost it"—meaning the ability to WILD, given that my last few attempts have gone nowhere. I crawled toward the bedroom door and remembered my task, "Fairy tales." Then I paused, realizing that I would need to improve my integration before trying to leave the room, as my WILDs tend to destabilize if I try to rush things. I thought, "Time for some clean-up"—but alas, there was no time, as I woke promptly at this.

Such a disruption was not unusual, as my early WILDs are normally strung together by multiple DEILD chains (for some reason this seems to be almost the only time I can successfully and instinctively DEILD, so I've never even counted those DEILDS as distinct dreams; instead they end up seeming more like segments of the same chained WILD). Unfortunately, I could tell at once that this time I had woken up too fully to DEILD, and even though I held very still and sought a way back into the dream, I could feel that I had surfaced past the point of re-entry, so I got up to write this. A bit disappointing, but not overly so as I have to get up insanely early tomorrow for a full day of activity, so no time to write more without cutting into sleep.

5:50am: up and writing again after two more DILDs. Both times I thought at first that I was awake in the house, but instinctively realized that I was dreaming.

DILD#1: As soon as I realized I was dreaming, I remembered my task, still determined to carry out my "Hansel and Gretel" experiment. I was already deep enough in dream to feel well-coordinated, so after getting lucid I went immediately to the kitchen and grabbed some bread from the counter. It was the end of a baguette. Last time I tried this the dream destabilized shortly after I left the house and started dropping crumbs, so this time I decided to begin more cautiously by starting the trail of bread crumbs while I was still inside the house. I walked from the kitchen to the living room, tearing off pieces of bread and dropping them on the floor. Meanwhile I was thinking to myself with amusement, "Oh man, I'd better really be dreaming. If we wake up tomorrow and it turns out I've left bread all over the floor, my husband is going to say this lucid dreaming thing has to stop!"

But I was sure I was dreaming, despite the stability and lifelikeness of the environment, so I asked myself how I could tell. I thought it would be a good moment to test the differences in self-perception between dream and the waking state. No sooner did I turn my attention to my body than I felt it—yes—that subtle tingling in the limbs that I have always associated with dream. The sensation used to be extremely prominent, especially earlier in life when lucid dreams occurred only rarely and spontaneously, but now I hardly ever notice it unless I pay deliberate attention. Unfortunately, this re-orientation of focus on my physical senses meant that I began to notice something I was hearing as well: the sound of my husband's breathing in the bed next to me. This reminded me of my body asleep in the bed, which promptly woke me up.

Upon waking, I could still hear the breathing just as I had in the dream, but with one peculiar difference: in the dream, the sound was distinctly coming from my right, but when I woke up I remembered, of course, he is sleeping to my left. Perhaps the discrepancy can be explained if I was sleeping on my left side with my left ear against the pillow so only my right ear could hear clearly? I forgot to take note of my position when I awoke.

DILD#2: After going back to sleep, once again I was doing stuff around the house under the impression that I was awake when I noticed once again: am I dreaming? Yep, pretty sure I am. Okay, well, back to work then. I remembered that I had taken the bread from the counter in the last dream, briefly worried that I might not find any more, but casually "expected" to find another loaf and sure enough it was there. I started dropping crumbs while I was still inside the house again, then went out the door to the back patio. I was still anxious about destabilization (I have tried this task several times before and haven't gotten very far, and tonight's previous episodes demonstrated that waking up abruptly was indeed a hazard) I so thought, okay, I'll just walk around the pool in circles and continue dropping crumbs until the dream shows some receptivity.

So I began circling the pool counterclockwise, dropping crumbs as I walked. When I reached the area just behind the pool I noticed the place where I had encountered "Boneface" in a previous dream and wondered if anyone would be waiting there, but no DCs were visible. However, the dream was starting to respond: already I was no longer circling the pool but on a path, walking through an environment that no longer resembled any place I know in waking life. The path led me through a dense suburban neighborhood, but I saw trees in the distance and figured a forest must be out there somewhere. I needed to reach the forest to proceed with the "Hansel and Gretel" plot.

I continued dropping breadcrumbs as I walked along the path, but then I remembered—hang on, if I'm doing "Hansel and Gretel," then obviously I can be Gretel, but I'll need a Hansel! I tried to summon him, calling out "Hans! Hans!" and "Little brother!" The dream responded promptly but unexpectedly: a little dog showed up, with long wavy fur in brown and white patches, and started trotting along with me. It looked just like a toy spaniel, but smaller, about the size of a chihuahua. I shrugged and figured, "Okay, good enough." Maybe he would turn into a boy later on, or if not, whatever. (I've always been able to summon animals easily, but have less success with human DCs, so the results weren't that surprising.)

To get more into the spirit of things, as we continued to walk along the path I started singing a song about our journey—how we had left our parents' house because there wasn't enough food, and hoped to find some in the forest. (I just realized a discrepancy in the story: if food is so scarce that they have to leave home lest the family starve, why are they wasting bread by dropping it on the ground? Or is that why mom wants to kick them out, the flagrant bread wasters!)

The dream felt very stable but I knew I couldn't be in very deep because I was having trouble with the song: rhymes weren't coming easily, like they do in deeper dream, and my melody was very simple (The Hobbit was on TV last night, and my song ended up with a similar tune and rhythm to the "goblin town" song from the movie, though naturally with very different words). When I got to the end of a line and couldn't find a rhyme, or even a suitable word, I just sort of hummed over the blank spot and kept going. Improvise! So I sang a number of stanzas in this haphazard way, dropping the bread in smaller and smaller crumbs since I was getting near the end of the loaf, while little Hans the dog trotted beside me on his tiny legs.

Finally we made it to the edge of town, and there it was ahead of us! The forest! Would we go in and find a gingerbread house, a threatening witch? I was looking forward to what we might discover. But I felt sorry for Hans and wondered if he might prefer to be carried. I picked him up and put him on my right shoulder (he was so small). No sooner had I perched him there then at once I clearly and distinctly heard a voice saying my name in my right ear—it was my RL name, and it woke me up. This happened immediately after I put the dog on my shoulder so I had the impression that he had been the one speaking, but the voice was clearly a woman's and, as far as I could make out, it sounded like my own voice.

Anyway, that woke me up past DEILD recovery so I got up and wrote again. It's now after 6am. Nothing like a short night before a busy day in which I have absolutely no time to spare for dreaming to really bring on the LDs, eh?

    3. The Sexy Time Traveler

by , 09-01-2014 at 09:32 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #359 - ?

I forgot most of this one as since FA got me. I need to make more effort doing an RC before I enter dream notes upon waking.

I am not sure how I got lucid but I recall being in my living room. I try to do the Patronus spell again. I shout the spell really loud. I am overly aware how loud I am and hear my foot steps on the hardwood. The floor boards creak loudly and for some reason I worry that I am actually making noise. I worry that I will wake up my wife and kids.

I have a FA and enter the dream into my DJ but I have difficulty seeing and typing.

      #360 - DILD - 5:30AM

I have a feeling that I never really woke up from the last dream, but I am not sure of how much time had passed since. I go ahead and get out of bed like I had done a WILD.

I feel extremely weak and have to crawly my way out of the bedroom. I give the floor a good like to help stabilize and crawl some more. I pause and wait a moment. The view of the hardwood up close looks so real that I question if I am really dreaming or not, but at that moment I see my vision become wavy and slightly unfocused like trying to see underwater. I recognize that as typical dream vision and crawl some more. I have a moment when my face is on the floor that I can also feel the back of my head resting on a pillow. I try not to think about this. I have a thought that I need more "cosmic energy" and I focus on absorbing some from someplace above me. This seems helpful and I am able to stand up.

The room is really dark so I try light switches. No luck. I go ahead and head out the front door. I notice I have been chewing something like flavorless gum and my jaws feel a little tired from it. When I step outside, I take the gum out and examine it in the moonlight. It's just a wad of pink bubble gum. As I am looking at it, I notice that I am still chewing the same piece. Another dream glitch. I put the gum back in my mouth but stop chewing as I forget about it.

I am now in the street. I see a car with one headlight make a left turn. This reminds me of my DeLorean goal. The dream darkens and I stop to focus for a seconds. I begin running and the dream comes back into focus with better lighting than before though it's still nighttime. I begin expectedly searching for a DeLorean and soon a silver car comes rolling up. It's not quite right. It looks sort of like the time machine but more like a Jeep Liberty with a Mr. Fusion on the back. I decide this will do and I walk around to the driver side. The car looks a lot more like the DeLorean now. I call out, "Doc?" as I slide up the driver side door. A light-skinned woman that looks like a plus size model in black underwear and bra steps out. She's very attractive with beautiful black hair. I find myself completely dumbfounded and aroused. She picks up a jean jacket and drapes it over her shoulders. She seems to be a little uncomfortable being so under-dressed. She's saying something about looking for her lost cat but I can't seem to follow.

I have sexual thoughts and the dream breaks down to something like an imaginary fantasy of having her bent over next to the car. I realize that is starting to happen and I pull away, trying to focus, but the dream quickly collapses.

I am now non-lucid and I find myself hovering over a small kitchen full of several DV members. I am looking for Dreamer. I feel that I need to tell her something urgent about her dream interpretation. I feel that she really needs to take a break from things. and I am really worried about her. ( I have no idea why)

I slightly wake and try to reach for my DJ but can't move. I decide to DEILD and enter vibrations. The sensation feels unpleasant compared to how I have been WILDing lately that I can't seem to get anywhere with it. I wake up after a few seconds.

    4. Forest Flight

by , 09-01-2014 at 09:02 PM (Xanous' Dream Journal)
      #358 - WILD - 4:44AM

I watch HI and soon notice that I have a PS3 controller in my hand. I am walking into a large garage. I feel like maybe the HI is now a full dream and I hesitantly take control. I drop the controller not really knowing why I had it. On the other side of the garage I exit and find myself in a wooded area a long a peaceful dirt road. The area looks a lot like Cyrodiil.

I remember that want to produce a Patronus. I wave my imaginary want and shout, "Expecto Patronum". I think I start to see some blue energy but the dream become really unstable and dark. I rub my hands and focus.

I find myself in an uncontrollable flight over the forest. I try to direct myself but I am unable to. The scenery is so amazing that I surrender to the direction of the dream and just enjoy the experience. I zoom over a blanket of green trees as I dip down into valley's up alongside rolling hills. The area is a lot like what you would see in the Ozark Mountain Range. My flight soon becomes more sporadic and I experience some intense ups and downs at great speed. I feel my stomach rise into my chest as I fall into a shallow creek. I enjoy the feeling so I leap up into the air at let myself fall.

I wake slightly and lose lucidity. The was something about my boss and I needed to answer his text message. I realized that I left the Playstation 3 on and I need to go find the controller again so that I can respond to the text. I realize this makes no sense and I wake immediately.

    5. The river! and a deerdog

      by , 09-01-2014 at 06:22 PM
Earliest dream I can remember was some sort of steam punk dream where I was on a platform by the ocean and this guy was working on a car. In the next dream I was hanging out with my parents and my dad said that I could NOT watch hockey because it would mess something up. What the hell do I care, I don't want to watch hockey. I went in another room and there was a deer/dog there. It was enormous and it made me feel a little uncomfortable. I think I ended up watching hockey anyways. Don't know why. After a minute or two I had a feeling it was a dream and I tried to move stuff with my mind, wasn't working at first but then a door flew open really fast. I remember trying to fly and use powers but they weren't working. The next part that I remember, I had just had a false awakening in a kitchen from a lucid dream. I went looking for some paper to write a couple words down when I realized I was still dreaming. The two words I wrote down about the lucid dream were "Balloon Fight". The pen didn't work so I just etched the words into paper to help me remember, but now I only remember the words and not the dream .

After that I went outside to look for something to do. I flew up a little bit then jumped in a river but the river had gone dry. There was nothing there but mud. So I pretended there was water flowing and I let it carry me for a while until water started to actually appear. I felt like I was on a water park ride. I was going around sharp turns and through tunnels and then I went off a waterfall cliff and the dream ended.

Another dream started back in the kitchen. There was some sexy girl standing near me, completely naked, and she had the most beautiful ass. I bent her over the counter and fucked her for a good several minutes before the creepy deer/dog from my previous NL dream came up beside me and stared at me. Made me really comfortable, I wonder what that was all about. We both stared back at the strange creature. I went outside and was determined to enjoy a calm and peaceful dream. I jumped into the same river, but there was water this time. The sun was a lot warmer as well (in color and sensation). The trees and grass around me also radiated light. Reminded me of an HD texture pack in minecraft. I floated down stream for awhile, feeling content. I had a warm, peaceful sensation in my chest. The river took me to the ocean where I sat on the water and stared off into the distance. The sky was painted with streaks of orange, red, yellow, and purple. Pretty sunset. I had one of those feelings that bring me out of meditation, a split second of doubt in myself. A giant water appeared on the horizon. I got excited and felt adventurous so I charged towards the wave and crashed into it just to teach it a lesson. Dream ended.

I waited for awhile and another dream started at a giant rec center. I was in an olympic sized pool area, sitting maybe 40 feet above the water on a platform. There was an obstacle course up there which I tried to complete for maybe 5 seconds before I fell into the water. Everything went dark but I could still feel the water around me. I swam to the surface and lept through the air like a dolphin, then back into the water. I was afraid I would get lost in the water since it was so dark. I found the bottom then pushed off and got out of the pool. There was a DC waiting for me that was clearly my dream GF. She had dark skin and beautiful brown eyes. She gave me head for what felt like 10 minutes. I can't control myself . Then I picked her up and held her against the wall while we fucked. Dream eventually ended.

Another dream started in a podcast room with Adam Levine and some other music people. I sat down on the couch across from his desk with all the sound equipment. This sexy punk looking girl was sitting next to Adam, I made her stand up and get naked with my mind powers. She had a penis. I said to her, "why must you have a penis my dear?" She just shrugged and walked over to the couch, still naked. She gave me and this other guy that I was sitting next to bags filled with..spray paint? I would never do such a thing while awake. But I thought, why the hell not it's just a dream. My bag's spraypaint was silver, the girl's was gold, and the other guy's was lime green. I put the bag up to my mouth and breathed deeply. I started to feel dizzy. We all made jokes and talked and laughed and enjoyed ourselves for awhile until I woke up.

I started off in my car where I realized I was dreaming. I got out and immediately felt the sun's warmth on my skin. I then stabilized by touching the road and looked at my hands only to see a ton of little indents from the pavement. I noticed I only had 2 fingers so I looked at my other hand and it had 4 I believe. I started at my hands until they look normal (In the dream I thought that when my hands looked normal that I was fully stabilized).

A guy then pulls a gun on me but doesn't shoot, he puts it away then pulls it back out again. I do some Dragonball Z hand shit and make him fly about 30 ft away from me. I then tried to set the grass on fire, and it worked. It was awesome. The dream ended shortly after since I always seem to become aware when my dreams are becoming close to ending.

      Time fell asleep : 11pm - 12am
Time awoken from lucid : 7am
Before bed : Had tv on until asleep, fell asleep on my right side, 40-50mg diphenhydramine (Benadryl)
      2 day LD streak now.

    7. Escape To Create!

      by , 09-01-2014 at 10:45 AM

      First Dream

I got in a fight with girl DCs and ariana grande.

      Second Dream

I was lucid and blankets and pillows were monsters trying to hurt me by stabbing me with their sharp edges. That was before I and my family were drawing or creating something.

      Third Dream "Escape To Create!"

I remember being in a restaurant where a secret group hiding from authorities was. Me and my mom were there and I was trying to help a Chinese man cook his dish by washing a lettuce. My mom laughed but somehow I offended someone in the group and they tried killing us. We managed to run outside though and were going to take a huge ride with lots of people. Unfortunately the ride made one stop than had to go back. So we left in search of a good place to hide. I overheard two girls talking about how it sucked that their next 50$ ride would have to be at night and felt the same way. My mom and I entered a house after that and I saw girls and boys around my age there. I got happy and saw that some of the girls began to swoon over how cute the boys were. I didn't go crazy but started fixing my hair in the mirror and thinking if I would end up with one of the boys myself. But I was too shy to walk up to them. That's when a guy who was a dance instructor (maybe 25) started dancing and the scenery started changing. Everyone started dancing and singing in their own groovy way. The guy than picked up a table and made me laugh cause he was spinning it like a cool trick. Than a girl tried to show me a dance move she called the surf. I tried it but was really shy. I noticed the boy I liked in the dream looking at me and covered my bashful face. When I looked he came up to me smiling and we started to talk. There was another girl talking and walking with us too. Than all of a sudden she told me to try doing a dance move. I tried but than slipped really quickly I landed on the ground. I noticed the ground was covered in ice and took a piece of ice off my head in a dizzy manner. I started to hum a part of a melody looking at the boy I liked. He started to hum his own part to it than I hummed one more time. A lady came out of no where happily saying how cute we were. But I felt like I was going to die from a brain concussion from the ice so I was disappointed. I told the boy "If I die, please remember my face," He said he would and I think I said this cause I really liked him and didn't want to be forgotten. After a bit a picture popped up in first perspective and it was all I could see. It was a cartoon of a girl guide saying before I go on a adventure I will find a friend whose not afraid of heights, who is not afraid to be themselves and likes to have fun. Than I woke up.

      Dream
      Lucidity

I was in another country that was very communistic. Laurie was with me at first while a flood was happening. I had my AR15 and my AK strapped around me and was wearing a battle dress uniform. I saw a lot of people trying out to be cops but they were wearing a student flight tshirt. I went into a castle and did parkour. I was then with some girl telling her about lucid dreaming and she told me to whisper because that stuff was banned. We started going to a party but I still wanted to tell her about lucid dreaming. As I went to the top of the tower by doing parkour, I reached my room and saw a girl going through something in my room. I figured I'd sneak up on her and ask what she was doing, so I crouched down and sneaked towards her. I told myself "Too bad I can't use Blink and suddenly realized that I was in a dream!
I used blink and teleported closer to a counter for concealment. I increased stabilized and increased lucidity before blinking towards the girl again. I got close enough and asked her what she was doing and she turned around, obviously startled. I tried to pull her closer to me with magic but couldn't and slowly started to wake up.
    9. Are you Dawn?

      Third dream (Lucid)
I recall doing something I don't remember than sitting down on a dinning table thinking about what to do. Than out of no where a guy I thought was my younger brother put his head over my shoulder and stared at me. I was like "whaaaat?" In my head than something about his facial expression gave me the idea I was in a dream. I asked him "Are you trying to tell me I'm dreaming?" He nodded and I got up happily. I started to call for my dream guide Dawn than noticed the scenery was changing. I walked around hoping Dawn would pop up but saw a lady bringing a butter knife to the kitchen. I started to walk fast and thought to myself "Don't think of her stabbing you. Don't think about the lady taking the knife and stabbing you on the back."I felt a little touch though but the lady just passed by me without harming me. After that I called out for Dawn multiple times than went to my room. I saw a boy on my bed and asked if he was Dawn my dream guide and he said no, shook his head than said something a dumb DC would say. Something about a queen and a flower I think. I got annoyed and started calling out for Dawn again. I sat on my bed after the boy disappeared and wondered when he would show up. Surprisingly someone showed up behind me(Not Dawn) took my hands and hugged me. I was confused but sort of intrigued by the event. Unfortunately the dream changed and I was walking in a empty room by myself waiting for the dream scenery to change. But instead I appeared on my bed and couldn't move after the thought of SP popped into my mind. A invisible little girl began to taunt me and I felt pain in my stomach. She always likes to do that...I told her to shut up because shes just a dream character. After a bit I woke up. Than I had a non lucid dream I don't remember.

After writing this down I think it could have been Dawn cause he use to hug me a lot but I'm not sure. : P

      Dream
      Lucidity

I was with a group of people driving to Santa Rosa to visit the Blue Hole. I counted my fingers and looked at my watch, which was going crazy, and realized I was dreaming. My car was parked and I went into a small office-like building and got a blowjob from one of the girls. After a few seconds, I kept going through the office, exploring it. Many times I said "When I open this door, I'll be at the bottom of the blue hole!" but it didn't work. I left the office and decided to look for water and try and find the meaning of it. I flew and came upon a park with kids playing. The park reminded me of Anna Becker Park in Belen. Still flying, I was able to control my elevation and rise and lower at will. I asked a guy where I could find lakes, rivers, or the ocean but he replied "Oceans" as in 'There is non in NM' I got mad and before I flew away, I used water magic on his legs to hopefully trip him. I flew out of the town, which still looked like Belen, and flew over some houses, looking for water. The further I went, the more the wind started to pick up. Eventually, it was not possible to keep flying forward because the wind was too powerful. I still tried flying forward and made note of how pretty the houses were. The powerful wind caused me to turn around and I saw a big, flat mountain with torches lighting up a dirt road/trail. There was a man jogging on it and I thought the mountain looked awesome, but kept looking for water.
Eventually, the wind got too strong and I thought it'd be easier to walk than to fly. I went into a house and was teleported back to the office I had first gone in to. This time, the office was filled with children. I asked a girl "What does the water in my dreams represent" and she looked at her handkerchief and then back at me and said "Alex and Christa". She walked away and I followed, asking "What about them?" She was about to tell me something but I woke up.

I had a very short lucid last night. All I can remember of it is becoming lucid, doing a clarity technique and then exploring around the house I was in.

      #357 - DILD - 7:27AM

I have some wakefulness for a while but it's too late for any LDS. I eventually feel sleepy and make a really poor attempt at WILD.

I am at work in just my underwear. I feel the need to pee so I go to the restroom. I feel embarrassment for being in just my underwear and wonder how this sometimes happens. I wonder why my wife didn't tell me or why no one freaked out about it. I look down and see a neatly folder set of clothing. The sweat pants and shirt says, "Seneca Indians". I wonder if Amanda put this here for me. She's nice enough that this would probably be her way of helping. As I put the clothes on, I know this will just add to my embarrassment. I hear someone try to open the bathroom door but I have it locked. It's Jeremy and I hear him say something rude about me to Darlene. "Where is Mike anyway?"
I think, "I'm in the restroom, asshole. I'm trying to get dressed." I hear him walk away.

I decide to pee now and as I pass the mirror, I see my own black and white striped shirt rather than the red Seneca Indian shirt. I look down at myself thinking this can't happen. I mutter, "Of course. I make my own reality." I accept this has to be a dream. I look back at the mirror and see my face. It look about aright to me, but my shirt has changed again. Now I am wearing a women's navy colored low V-neck with with a white under shirt. I have some small breast and think that If I am going to be a woman I should do this right. I focus and will the breast to grow larger. I feel awkward that I am getting aroused by this. I decide to try something else, so I look away thinking that I will look different when I turn again, but unexpectedly wake up.

I recall another LD from earlier but I just can't remember it. Something about talking to a DC and she's staying something really strange. It was short and lead to a FA. 3 LD's unaided total. Not bad even if my memory was poor.

I meant to have a WBTB galantamine but was way too tired to pull myself out of bed. I fell back to sleep thinking of lucid dreaming.

      #356 - DILD - 4:37AM

Something causes me to look out the window and I see cut up tree limbs from the neighbors house in my yard. In waking life we have had property line arguments so this really gets me stirred up. I go outside and see whole trees have been cut up but there is a huge limb on the neighbors side. I can't seem to tell if the trees broke from a storm of it they had been cut down. It looks like a little of both. I don't want to fly off the handle it was all innocent. Out of habit I look up and see a huge daytime moon with a green planet joined to it. There are clouds or some sort of mist or steam coming from it. I recognize this dream sign and nose plug, a little surprised that I blow through. I note that I am dreaming, but almost immediately forget about it as my attention turns to a DC. I remain at least semi-lucid but I am really caught up in the emotion of the dream.

The neighbor wife comes out and I talk to her about it. She gives some innocent explanation about the limbs. I feel relieved and told her that I thought her husband was just being an ass again. However, I'm looking at the tree stumps and they really look cut now. I walk past the neighbor woman and go to my house to talk my wife. I note how dream-like and wavy the woman's face is as I pass. There is a tree stump that is a part of my house wall. I pull on it and it feel soft and rotten. I can see inside my house. My wife comes out and we spend some time debating what happened to the trees. After a moment I realize that I got lost in the story of the dream. I do several nose plugs, regain full lucidity. I tell my wife that "I am having a dream" and I walk away.

The neighbor husband is coming up the street in his horrible old Ford truck. In waking life, he always parks much farther up the street than necessary to be fully under the shade of the tree and hardly leaves me any space to park in front of my own house. It always drives me crazy so I take this chance to vent some anger. I step right in the middle of where he likes to park and as I flip him a double bird, shout, "FUCK YOU MOTHER FUCKER! FUCK YOOOOOOUUUUU!" He stops waiting, but not getting out. Now acting on impulse I drop my pants and some how manage to rub my nuts all over the asphalt and curb. Then, for good measure, I pee on every part of it I see. As the tree gets a good watering, I have a moment when I worry that I may pee the bed, but I notice there is no physical sensation. It's all visual.

Now I pause. I realize I am being completely crazy and wasting a lucid dream on a bunch of nonsense. I recall I have a two part goal in mind, but I can't seem to remember any of it. The scene around me starts breaking apart and I know that every time I try this hard to remember something I either wake up or lose lucidity. I try anyway.

The next thing I recall is being on the street non-lucid. I see my father-in-law and his friend Kevin in a mail truck. I grab on asking for a ride acting completely crazy like a monkey. Kevin says 'no' but I do it anyway. Then, he says, "It looks like Christmas at your house."
I say, "No. It's not." I look as we pass see a very different house with huge windows. All of them are open and it looks like everything is a huge mess. "Oooh. Don't look in there." I do some other crazy stuff and wonder what Kevin thinks of me now.

I have a memory gap and find myself jumping on a pile of fresh tomatoes. I lay there a moment as the tomatoes collapse into a hollow center. Juice runs down from my weight crushing them. I hear talking and FIL and Kevin are there. I was hiding but I guess they found me.

I walk and the area morphs into a living room. I take a disc from the entertainment center and recall how crazy I was just a moment ago. I laugh out loud and cover my face. I wake up.

    14. My first DJ entry - lucid dream turns into a little nightmare

      by , 08-31-2014 at 06:08 PM
      Hi

This is my first english DJ entry, so I try to give my best

I am situated on a big meadow and look into the sky. It's morning and the orange shining sun is sourrounded by purple but also dark clouds. I am fascinated, because skys like these are very seldom in my dreams. Suddenly I am lucid, I can't remember what was the reason for it. So I started to fly a little bit, but unexpectedly I feel my real body. I land and move my dream body and my eyes. It works! Happy about the stabilizated dream I look aorund. I'm standing on a beach, as beautiful and rare like the sky. The water is colored in a dark blue and I hear the rustle waves. I make some steps in the sea while noticing that I wear my pyjama. Some time later I discover some dolphins. I want to swim to them, but than I see them bleed. More and more I became turbid (? I don't know the word for it. It is the opposite of lucid). I am only standing there and staring at the dream situation. The dark blue water turns into red and suddenly two submarines appear of the sea. The men in it begin to shoot at me and I start to running away in a field. Moreover they throw multicolored balls at me. I notice that the situation is hopeless and wake up...

      See you

    15. Powerless, In The Mall, Bottomless Ocean, and other stuff

by , 08-31-2014 at 04:57 PM (One Up Seeker)
      1. I was in some huge mall sitting down at a table with my family. Suddenly I became Lucid, but I stayed sitting down at the table just to see what was going on. My mom was sitting to the left of me, my sister was sitting in front of me, and my dad was sitting in front of my mom. On the table, my mom had a wine glass. There was a bottle of wine next to me, so I picked it up and poured her some.
She got really mad about it because I had poured too much in and then proceeded to pick up a paper towel and stuck it into her glass so it soaked up the majority of the wine to where there was only a few sips left to drink. She took a sip of the wine and placed it back down on the table. It was a deep red wine and was basically crimson in color. Suddenly, my sister picked up the wine glass and poured more wine into my moms glass.
Once again, my mom got really mad again and got a paper towel to repeat what she did before to soak up the wine. I figured that this was going no where, so I got up out of my seat and walked out of the store/restaurant we were at. I then remembered that I was supposed to ask a DC how to dilate time, so I started walking to find a store. Rather quickly I found a jewelry store and went inside of it. The interior was a dirty yellow and the carpet was pink (Ugh, nasty).
I went up to the store clerk and asked her in a low voice, "Do you know how to dilate time?". "Follow me to the back of the store" she whispered back. Once we got to the back of the store, she got on her computer and did something. It appeared that she forgot what she had brought me back here for. She was an old lady that was rather short and had long white hair. She was wearing what looked like a black nurse outfit.
I repeated my question to her once more, and she replied, "No I have no idea." Wow, I really did expect something alot more than this, considering that she whispered for me to come to the back of the store with her, but its whatever. I started making my way out of the store to ask somebody else. As I did so, I closed my eyes for a second and focused on my body too much and woke up
. (By the way, I am controlling that alot better now, I really only wake up when I try to feel my body most times.)

      2. I was inside of some huge house, and it was almost pitch black inside. No lights were on whatsoever, and I had no idea what was going on. Suddenly, I became lucid and tried to figure out what exactly was happening. I looked around me, but I couldn't see much. Somehow, it then came to me that someone else was inside of this house with me, and they were coming after me. I tried imagining night vision that would highlight where this other person was in the house, sort of like thermal vision, but it didn't work.
I tried using some powers but nothing was working. I was powerless and I felt defenseless. It didn't come to me that I could've just fought whoever was coming after me because I was really afraid. I started walking around to find a way to get out, but everything was locked and I couldn't break it. Out of no where I heard a weird girl voice whispering something. The whispers got closer and louder. Finally my eyes adjusted to the darkness, and now I could see alot better. To my left I saw a black haired woman with a white robe on walking towards me with her head down.
I ran through the house trying to be quiet while doing so. I eventually came to the garage area of the house and looked around, there was no where to go. Eventually I just closed my eyes and focused on my body. It didn't work and so I didn't wake up.
Later on though the dream ended and I did wake up.

      3. After a brief micro-awakening from the previous nightmare, I fell back asleep and went back into the exact same dream. I'm not sure whether or not I was lucid though. The house was a little bit different this time, and also a little bit lighter. I could see alot better and it seemed as though it was early in the morning. I "felt" the woman approaching me again and I started running. I remember running to the upstairs portion of this house and hiding in a room.
The woman came upstairs and started searching for me. I was hiding in a corner of the farthest room in the house, and I stayed dead silent while doing so. After a while of looking, the woman could not find me. Suddenly a few dogs appeared and the woman said, "Find him my little babies". There were 3 or 4 small dogs that started looking around. Two of the dogs came in front of the doorway of the room I was hiding in. They saw me and started walking in, but I stopped them by pointing into the other room away from me and they walked over to the other room.
Another dog started walking into my room and I pointed into the other room again but as I did so, my arm came out of the room to much and casted a huge shadow across the hallway. The woman didn't see my shadow and after seeing that her dogs didn't find anything, she called them back to her. At this point, The Woman was standing right outside of the room I was in, and only a few feet away from the entrance. I decided to prepare for whatever was going to happen next.
I looked around the room and on the floor I saw two long sharp objects. I picked the better one of the two. The object that I picked resembled a small plastic pipe that was navy blue in color and had a sharp point on the end of it. I picked it up and waited. I heard the woman talking to her dogs and I looked outside of the room to see what she was doing. She was still talking to her dogs, but now her back was faced towards me and there was one thing different about her now, she had the body of a big spotted dog, and the only thing human about her was her head.
I was a little shocked at the sight of this but nonetheless I stayed focused on what I was doing. As she continued talking to her dogs, I came up behind her and stabbed her with my sharp pipe object. She turned around and looked at me in shock. I saw that this wasn't killing her, so I stabbed her 5 or 6 more times, making sure that I pierced her chest. She fell to the ground, and I saw now that I had killed her. There was blood everywhere that I had stabbed her. I felt safe now and relaxed. The dream then ended and I woke up.

      4. I was underwater, just floating. I looked around me and saw that the water was a light teal, but as the ocean got deeper, the water turned gradually to a darker blue. I looked down and the ocean looked bottomless, it was as though I was just floating in outer space but I was underwater. In front of me I saw a series of poles. On these poles, there were snakes falling down off of them constantly. In order to get onto the platform on top of the poles, you had to grab onto the snakes and climb up.
As each snake was falling, you had to jump and grab the next one in order to go up. I started grabbing onto the snakes, and before I figured the whole system out, I found myself floating down. Once I figured it out, I climbed the snakes. They didn't bite me, they just went with the flow and kept falling down. Once I made it to the platform on top of the pole, I sat down. I was still way underwater, and I couldn't even see the surface barely.
As I sat down, I saw across from me more of these platforms. These platforms were all around. On the platform in front of me there was a group of 3 guys sitting down looking at me.
