Non-dream Non-lucid Lucid Dream fragment - Skydiving I remember jumping off from something in the sky (probably a plane but I don't know). It was so high up, when I jumped there was a plane in the air somewhere below me so I swooped down near it. I wasn't the only one jumping either, and it was more like I was flying than actually falling. I remember circling around the cockpit and looking inside, the pilots were stunned to see me. I then let myself fly near the wing, the suction from the turbine seemed to be pulling me in but I managed to push myself away from it with willpower. I think I skydived about 3 times? Dream - Pool Party I wake up in a building, it seems like some sort of residential hall or lodging. The floor is wooden and I think I was sleeping on it in a sleeping bag. I remember seeing my friend John, the time was about 8-9 so he decided to go ahead of me and head to class at uni because we didn't have karate practice today. Karate? I seem to have signed up for the karate club and now I know it's also supposed to be the first day of school. I look around and pack my bag, but I notice the instructor for the karate club actually getting ready for something so I realize there is club activities today.. And for some reason in the area that I originally woke up in? I walk over and stand on the yoga mat. Putting down my stuff and trying to shift my sleeping bag, bowl and 2 spoons out of the way for some space (apparently I had breakfast unknowingly). We start with some aerobics stuff which really disappoints me, I was really looking forward to sparring because in the dream I seem to be a skilled fighter . Some music turns on and the karate teacher starts moving around doing some dance that we all follow, I try to keep up but I have no clue what to do and end up doing everything slightly behind everyone else. I'm not wearing any shoes or socks and I feel like there's crumbs all over the damn ground too. I try to kick it away while dancing and end up shifting it onto another persons mat by accident. The dance thing kind of ends and some kind of poncy pool party happens. Yes, there is now a pool in my room O_O. We get complimentary omurice-pancakes, which are actually just normal pancakes that are really bland. I recognize some of the people as having similar faces to some old friends in high school, the girls are quite pretty and seem to have a really upper-class vibe. Most of them are in bikinis and board shorts. There's a lady from the karate club going around and offering these incredible looking melted chocolate balls. They look so good but you have to pay for them. I realize that there's no point wasting money on them so I just ignore them. I spot one of the characters from the Home and Away TV show cast (just googled it, his name is Luke Mitchell or 'Romeo Smith' on the show). He's encouraging people to dance to the music but I pat him on the back and politely excuse myself, I have to get to class. My class starts at 10 and it's nearly 9. I can't quite recall if it was part of this dream but I remember driving/being driven down a road in my home town (it felt like it happened earlier but the dream logic would mean it happened last?).
I had another lucid dream this morning. It was one of those lucid dreams where you wake up and panic a little because you can't remember much of it. I backtracked and found I remembered some of it. I'll share what I remember. I had been in my grandparents' house when the dream started. And that's where I became lucid. My grandparent's house shows up in a lot of my dreams--probably more than any other house. I have a whole lot of happy memories connected to that place. At some point I became lucid and did some stuff. It kind of kills me that I can't remember what I did. But I do remember going to the front door. I thought something like, "Well, I'm still lucid and dreaming after all that, so I might as well go out and do something outdoors." As I flew out the door, I thought of how many times I had been lucid and flown out that same door. I vaguely remember flying around. At some point I decided that I would take off my shirt. I started to do so, but for some reason I had a harder time undressing. Usually my clothes just sort of fall off me the moment that I think about it. But this time I was having difficulty pulling my shirt off over my head and flying at the same time. Before I got my shirt completely off, I saw a high school down below. I decided to pull my shirt back down if I was going to interact with the students. I saw three students walking outside the school buildings. I needed to do something interesting in this dream since I felt that I was mostly just wasting time to this point. I flew up and hovered in front of a girl. She was tall, thin, with straight honey brown colored hair. She had high cheek bones and light brown eyes. I don't remember what I said first. But she didn't react the way I wanted her to. So I decided to tell her that she was in my dream. She nodded and still didn't say much. How boring. So I went up to the guy next to her. He looked much older than a high school student. He had dark hair that had some curl in it. He had an obvious 5 o'clock shadow. If he had gone another couple of days with out shaving, he would have had a very full beard. I also told him that he was just a dream character in my dream. Like the girl he didn't seem to care. He didn't think it was weird that I was flying right in front of them. I then kissed him. He sort of kissed me back, but without much enthusiasm. Well, that was it. I had had enough of that kind of attitude. I somehow had a blanket with me, and I threw it around this guy, pinning his arms to his sides. I was going to kidnap him. Once he was pinned, I grabbed him and flew to the top of the highest building on campus. I said something like, "Well if you don't care that this is just a dream, then you shouldn't care if I let us both fall off this building." Still, I got no reaction. How rude. So with my arms around him I slowly leaned out over the edge until we were both falling. We didn't fall very fast and we gently fell to a grassy lawn below. The guy was calm and expressionless. This wasn't going the way I had wanted it to. How could I go so wrong? Could this be my most boring lucid dream ever? And I think the answer is "yes". Because I woke up shortly after that.

Through a mortal lens I saw glimpses of the immortal. Imperishable dimensions built on the foundation of eternity. I found myself in the dark. It was unlike any darkness I have ever known. The sheer blackness was all-consuming and governed as far as I could see. I questioned my visual capabilities and soon learned I was not blind, yet I could not see. Whether it be my hand from my face, all was the same. The darkness was so deep, so thick, I felt as though it had seeped inside my very body. All around me I heard only screaming, moaning, and growling. It was as though I had stepped into a sports stadium, but the crowd screamed rather than joyously cheered. I was falling, doing such at a speed like a descending bolt of lightning. I felt it in my gut, I was falling. In that moment I believe I left my body. For a fraction of a second there was an indescribable sensation that I had moved beyond my mortal sleeping body. When the sensation ceased, I found myself in surroundings anew. It was blurred, and fog was present, but I could clearly make out a solid ground which I sat on. It was whiter than snow and I stood up. I was wearing a white gown of sorts. There was a building just beyond me. Behold, it was large and white and looked as though made of precious stone or crystal or pearl. I saw a wall with many pillars and an array of stairs leading up to it. There was clearly a gate which was closed. I felt the presence of another being with me, yet I saw no one. I heard the mumbling of a voice, and my surroundings were silent save for a swift wind-like sound. No others were present. In that I awoke.
#420 - DILD - 5:27AM I was experimenting with meditation pre-bed and after a brief awakening. This dream is the after effect. Sadly, lucidity was short, but the non lucid part was just as interesting. I am late for work and I get there just before lunch break. There is some sort of potluck in the break room and I go ahead and help myself to a plate. My old boss is there and she is mad that I got into the food already, but I don't pay her much attention. I recall eating some brisket, corn and (I think) mashed potatoes. After I eat I am at the smoker tables outside talking about the meal. I find out that I was supposed to pay $2 for a plate and some people are irritated about it. I tell them I will pay the $2 later. Bethany asks how I like the brisket. She says it was made by her family and has been smoking for a whole year. She adds that when customers ask to have something smoked, they put the brisket back in. I say, "Wow! A whole year? Funny... it didn't taste smoked." I thought I should have looked for the barbeque sauce. I am going into the bathroom. The entryway is long and maze-like. I quickly see that the bathroom is now co-ed. I remember how I joked about this. I feel odd walking up to a urinal as ladies come out of stalls. The urinal is very strange. There is an extra back wall with partition in the middle of a watery toilet bowl hole in the floor. It appears that this is a shared urinal. I pee getting it mostly on the floor. I have a thought that this seems a lot like one of my dream signs; strange bathrooms. Before I can think too much about this, I am distracted by the feel of my right foot touching bare on cold moist tile. I quickly pick it up and rest it on my other foot that has a shoe. I am really worried about getting floor pee on my foot and I try to forget the fact that it's actually too late. I focus back on my peeing and see there is now a realistically colored, plastic penis sticking up out of the water. This really freaks me out and I decide I am done peeing. Billy walks up to the other side of the urinal and I think to make a joke about the plastic penis, but I feel this is all too awkward. I wash my hands and step out of the restroom. I am now in what looks like a really awesome cafeteria. I wonder when they remodeled and someone says it only took one day. I remark on this and the man seems to think I was scoffing. I assure him that I was just impressed by how fast they put all of this together. I see some pop machines and an intricate snack bar with the Pizza Hut logo. I say something to the man working the snack bar in Pizza Hut uniform and then pass by a salad bar. I look down the long room and see lots of tables and booths full of people. I turn right and see more vending machines and a strange public shower thing like at the beach. There is a sign that reads, "Warm your feet." My feet do feel cold, so I put my bare foot in the water. It's nice and warm, but I am getting totally wet from the over-spray, so I leave. I back up and see a hallway down to the right of all the people seated at restaurant booths. In the hallway is a large, bald, white man with a basketball. He looks pretty fierce and is staring me down has he bounces the ball. I try to ignore the man and intend to walk past him, but I am distracted by the many over-head dryers blowing warm air on me. It feels really nice and warm and I'm much dryer now. There is some slight memory gap or glitch and I am in the same hallway, but I am trying to get into a large slit in a wall. It's tight and I have to pull myself up a bit, but the strain of my muscles feels nice and I have lots of strength. However, I start to feel claustrophobic, so I pause. The bald man starts screaming at me, "Run! Get through! Scream like it's the Apocalypse!." I give a huge effort and I am suddenly past the opening in a very small triangular attic. I see that I have removed some metal plate from where the large slit in the wall was and I drop the screws that are in my hand. There are more openings ahead and to either side of me that look even more tight. The feeling of claustrophobia grips me again, but now something finally clicks and I realize this is all just a dream. I feel relief from my discomfort and tell myself that no opening is too small in a dream. All fear leaves me as I squeeze myself through a very small hole. I get caught at the waist, but I relax and let myself pour out like liquid. I am outside, several stories high and I jump down. The feeling of falling grips my stomach so tight that my whole body tenses up and I grunt a bit. I smile at the illusionary dream sensation as I gently touch my feet to the grass on the ground. It's a bright, sunny day and as I look at my hands, I marvel that I am completely immersed in an environment that's generated in my own mind power. I look up and see I am outside of my workplace. I am on the south east side where there are no entry ways. I recall being really impressed with the oddities inside and want to work my way back in. I try to take a step forward, but I am surprised that my feet have zero traction. I begin to loose my sense of gravity and the dream starts to collapse. I incorrectly assume that I am waking up and forget to try stabilization. I lose lucidity and have a short segment where I see the crazy bald man back inside the hallway with the dude from the cafeteria. Baldy forcefully kisses the other guy who seems disgusted and pulls away. He starts to storm off, but pauses and rushes back to return the kiss. Thankfully, I wake up at this point. This dream may have been partially inspired by The Internship with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson.

I had two recent dreams that were almost lucid. Or maybe semi lucid. They were early on in the night so my memory about them is not as vivid. I remember acting like I was lucid but there was no 'Aha...I'm dreaming!" moment. Maybe I will write them up as lucid, but with the explanation here that I'm not entirely sure. I do know that I wasn't lucid enough to decide to do whatever I wanted. I pretty much went along with the existing dream. Dream 1: I was out in the snow with Jeff. I somehow knew that things weren't real (not sure if I knew I was dreaming or I had control over things). But I suddenly knew that the coldness of the snow wouldn't affect me. I took off my clothes and rolled around in the snow and made snow angels and enjoyed the feeling of the non-cold snow on my skin. Dream 2: I don't remember the beginning. At some point I knew I had control and could fly (again, not sure if I was completely lucid or not). I was with this guy. I don't remember who he was but we were supposed to be doing something together and he was not happy with me running off. I ran to this tall wall and started climbing it. It was several stories high. When I got to the top I stood there and just let myself fall backwards. When I hit the ground I got up and proceeded to climb the wall again and do the same thing. It seemed that the guy and other people were watching me in disbelief. I found that exciting and wanted to keep doing it.
I take a picture of my mom's dog and cat as they are both sitting in the kitchen right next to each other. They both smile and look at the camera. The perfect shot. Funny how both the dog and the cat look alike, and also look like my dad's weird dog he has. My sister wants to see the picture, but when I look at it, they aren't looking at the camera anymore, even though I already took the picture. I look for another picture, but all I have are photos of the Simpsons in real life. Mostly weird ones, like a tiny animated devil sitting on a chair, with Maggie poking her head around the side, and Marge in the background. Or a photo of Mr Herman. Suddenly I am on an airplane right next to an animated Mr Herman. Apparently he's a really fat guy, I'm not sure where his character comes from. He says, "I'm Mr. Herman!" and suddenly we're both falling from the plane. Now I'm watching us fall, hit the ground, but all cartoon like. I stand up, the cartoon effect disappears, and there is a big bottle of whiskey in front of me. Kind of like Goldschlager, but with red bits instead of gold. Must be cinnamon flavored... An old friend next to me tells me I should have drank it earlier, but I can still drink it now. It seems like a tasty idea, so I reach for it, but wake up because I can't feel my arm, and my shoulder hurts. Arm =/= shoulder. ...All of this in an unplanned nap on the couch with the cat on me!
In this dream, I was being chased by dream figures on top of 40 foot high shelving unit in a warehouse. I had no idea how I got up there, or even why they were chasing me, I just knew I had to get away somehow. Soon I was trapped at the end of a shelving unit with nowhere to go, except down, way down. The concrete floor was 40 feet below, and they were closing in. I was scared to death about jumping, and I knew they were going to push me off as soon as they reached me. Several more dream figures stood on top of another shelving unit across an opening area, and they were simply watching with interest. Then for no particular reason at all, I became lucid (This often happens to me). Defense was the first thing that came to mind, so a 10 inch butcher blade appeared in my right hand. The pursuers stopped dead in their tracks, time stopped, and then I remembered my conviction for no violence. I held out my left hand and drove the knife right through the top of it and I let go of the handle, and then I raised my stabbed hand to show the pursuers what I’d done. I didn’t feel a thing except for slight pressure. Whispering voices echoed through the warehouse from horrified onlookers, eyes opened wide, mouths a gasp, and then somebody said, “Gross, I can’t believe he did that!” (Just between you and me, I couldn’t believe what I’d done either). Then I pulled the knife out of my hand and the wound healed instantly (except for a slight mark on one side). I said, “See, you can’t hurt me, I’m dreaming!” In an effort to further make my point; I tipped the section of shelving over, which I was standing on, and I fell quickly towards the ground. My stomach dropped through the roof of my throat as I fell, and I was actually very scared (even though I was lucid), but I was determined to hit the ground without waking up. I fell 40 feet and landed flat on my face, and then the shelving unit landed on top of my back. Again, no pain! In complete stupidity, I said, “See, I didn’t feel a thing!” The dream figures all started to laugh and giggle, as I wormed and squirmed, to try and get out from under the collapsed shelving unit. Then something quite unexpected happened, 5 or 6 dream figures started to jump off the shelving units, from 40 feet up, just like I did! I couldn’t believe it; they were doing belly flops onto the concrete floor! They were lying on the ground, uninjured, rolling around, and laughing hysterically. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing! I then woke up. I strongly recommend stabbing a knife through your hand sometime in a lucid dream. It really quite the experience!
I had these two reoccurring nightmares when I was child. The first one was being chased by a Sasquatch, as a result of watching The 6 Million Dollar Man, and the second was falling from a tall swaying skyscraper, thanks to the movie, The Towering Inferno! My mom told me to simply realize you are dreaming, and then make friends with your fear. Back then in the 70s there was no such phrase as Lucid Dreaming, and nobody really knew too much about it, except that it was possible to become consciously aware in your dreams. It took a few months, but I was able to become Lucid during my nightmares. The Sasquatch Attack! I was running through the forest, being chased by this Sasquatch, totally terrified, and then I remembered what my mom said, “Realize you’re dreaming and make friends with your fear.” I stopped in my tracks, and turned around to face the Sasquatch. It was 7 feet tall, hairy, and was real nasty looking. I stayed calm, knowing I couldn’t get hurt in my dreams. I raised my arm to shake its hand. The Sasquatch also raised its hand! I introduced myself. I've never had this nightmare again. Problem solved thanks to lucid dreaming. Falling from a Skyscraper! The nightmare would always start off with me holding onto the ledge of a tall skyscraper, which was swinging in the wind. My grip would loosen, and then I would fall, and wake up just before hitting the ground. This time, as I was falling, I realized I was dreaming, and I was going to face my fear. Absolutely terrified, I decided to hit the ground, because you can’t get hurt in your dreams. Right? Wrong! I hit the ground, and it knocked the wind out of me, and it did hurt. I rolled over and looked up at the swaying building, got to my feet, and checked for damage. No damage! I was okay. BTW, I still have this nightmare occasionally, but I’ve since figured out you can simply fly away, and not hit the ground.
This lucid was particularly long, and I was quite caught up in the action, so parts of my memory are foggy--will do the best that I can! I am in a futuristic society, and am experiencing this dream via observation (I have no body). A traitor is being drawn out of hiding by his friend, a high-ranking politician. They are sitting in a living room, having a chat, when the politician friend pulls a surprise interrogation. The traitor is caught of guard and does not know how to respond. The politician is very friendly, and suggests that even if the friend confesses, he can use his influence to get him out of trouble. It seems that the traitor has been teaching a young kid how to LD, and the dream seems to compare this to watching stars--very innocent with a bit of wonder. They have been having 33 minute long lucid dreams together. Transition to a fellow walking down the street (may have been LouaiB, though I am not entirely sure about this). It is night, and then neighborhood scene is very peaceful and lovely. Suddenly, this man stops and says, "This is a dream!" He then realizes he has had six lucid dreams that night, and he's very put out about this, as he feels he has "stayed awake most of the night lucid dreaming" The next moment I am aware, I am in darkness, surrounded by a myriad of loud voices coming from all different directions. "Stop!" I finally shout. "I know this is a dream!" Everyone stops shouting, except for one small voice. Hanging there in space, I decide to focus on this one voice, and use it to help me rebuild the dream from out of darkness. Slowly, listening to the voice, I find myself lying in bed (but still in total blackness). I then begin to feel my body sliding backward, and off the back edge of the bed, as though the whole thing had been tipped upwards. I realize that this is just dream sensation (similar to a WILD) and decide to help the dream by slipping backward off of the bed. I fall through darkness. As I am falling, Al Bundy's head (from Married with Children) appears in front of me, laughing: I continue falling, wondering what in the hell incubated this dream and realize I am in some sort of air duct. Looking up, I see some falling object, breaking the laws of gravity as they fall faster than I do: pillows! I get really excited about this, and start punching pillows. I feel my excitement begin to rise, however, and try to calm down a bit so that I don't wake up. I finally end my fall by landing in a huge pile of pillows. I find that by directing my awareness to the pillows, I can make them explode into clouds of feathers. I do this several times, before trying to channel energy into a pillow for the same effect. This doesn't work (although the pillow does heat up) in part, I think, because I am thinking too much about it. I don't care enough to keep trying though, and toss the pillow away. I exit the pillow room through a metal hallway. Off to the right is a small room, with my dream guide (!) sleeping in a chair. His feet are up and he has a snooze bubble expanding and contracting from his nostril. While this may have been a false memory (as I have no memories of ever having met a dream guide), I think it was actually part of the dream that I had forgotten from earlier. I decide not to wake him up, as we had already had some kind of interaction earlier in the dream. I walk up three short steps, and enter into a large make-up room (with mirrors like you would see in an actress's make-up room). There are mirrors all around, but this make-up room has no walls, and it is not possible to explain what is around the make-up room--it is just nothing at all. I see a woman on the other side of one these big mirrors and tables, and decide to see if she is good looking. As I move to get a better look, I realize it is my sister I say hi to her, and she replies, "Good, you're up." "Nope," I say, moving past her, "Still dreaming." I make a note that the dream is trying to send me false awakenings. I manage to see my own reflection in the mirror: I am wearing a grody white nightgown, my hair looks unwashed, and my eyes are bloodshot. Basically look like I've fallen off the wagon. I exit this area into a smaller living room, where I see some people from waking life that I know. They are all prepared to go to a wedding, and are dressed very nicely. At this point, I receive a false memory about needing to be awake for a wedding, but I am not fooled. Two of the people are an old crush and her husband. I take this opportunity to tell old crush how beautiful she looks. The husband tries to shake my hand, but he is super tall in dream, which pulls my arm way up into the air. I pull his arm down and shrink him a bit I then pat the third person, a kid playing with a dog, on the back. The kid tells me to wait until he is done petting the dog. The dog is groaning and basically enjoying being pet. As I am watching the dog, the dream begins to destabilize. I stop for a moment to feel whether or not this is real instability, or made up instability, but it is real and I wake up. All in all, I slept an entire sleep cycle, and estimate I was lucid for approximately 25-30 minutes. Probably one of the most novel adventures ever, especially falling through the air duct. I am constantly amazed at the creative power of the dreaming mind.

In the dream I was looking for a mouse that had gone missing (can't remember from where/what/who). I then went searching for it and someone told me to go talk to the chicken guy, who was a man with a chicken wing a head (but sometimes it was just part of his head, but that alternated during the dream). I then found him behind this fence and he dropped the mouse I was looking for that kind of floated to the ground like a leaf before scurrying off. I caught it and the chicken guy let me have it (even though it was originally his) and I ended up becoming friends with him. I was then searching through tubs, containers - anything I could keep the mouse in. He wa really tame and didn't run away if I set him on the ground. I then turned around and the chicken guy from before was running off with the mouse. I was angry at him stealing the mouse like that, soon I was in a bus and he was in one too, falling to the ground 'battling' next I was in a plane flying over the ocean.

I forgot to add a song to my last DJ entry! I can't think of any music that fits this dream, so instead, here's what I'm listening to as I write this: I'm at an office in a clinic. I'm sitting on a simple chair in the very middle of the room. I've been waiting here for some time, bored out of my mind. A nurse is supposed to join me in order to give me the results from some kind of medical test that was performed on me. After some time a nurse finally enters the room. She tells me that she has good news, that they have finally figured out what is wrong with me. The nurse suggest beginning treatment immediately. I'm ecstatic to hear this. However, I now also realize that this is a dream. The nurse somehow notices that I have become lucid. She seems sad because of it? We are interrupted by a doctor barging into the room. She immediately steals the nurses charts from her hands. After looking over them she sends the nurse away. "I will take care of this." I don't like this. The nurse seemed very competent and kind, whereas the doctor seems uninterested in my health. She is just here to do her job and get paid. She couldn't care less about who I am or how I feel. After grabbing something from a drawer she pulls up another chair and sits right in front of me. She holds a syringe and a vial containing an odd purple liquid. "Hold out your arm for me." "Okay." I hold out my arm as she draws some of that liquid into the syringe. I want to ask her about what is actually wrong with me, and about what the devil she is about to inject me with. But I don't ask anything because I feel really uncomfortable. The color of that liquid strikes me as really odd. Are you supposed to inject purple stuff into people? She grabs my arm tightly, presumably so that I don't move. My skin offers little resistance to the syringe. The needle punctures it easily. I'm pleased that it doesn't hurt. She injects me with a large quantity of the liquid. As she retracts the syringe she smiles. And not the good kind of smile. The I just fucked you up and I'm a psychopath kind of smile. Blisters start forming very rapidly all over my arm. They quickly grow to the point where they are about to burst. There's a huge amount of liquid in them. And I sense them pulsating. (I'm not googling a fitting picture for that...) WHAT THE FUCK! I notice the doctor as she attempts to go for my other arm. Oh hell no. I slap the syringe out of her hand and quickly get up. I am now in full panic mode. I turn towards the only door in the room and charge at it. Due to fear of the door being locked I throw my entire weight at it, attempting to break it open. The lock gives in under the force emitting a shattering sound and separates from the door. Blinded by a bright sun I try to reorient myself. Wait what? I'm outside? I quickly realize that I find myself stranded on top of a skyscraper. There's only one door leading back into the building and that's where I came from. This doesn't make any sense! Also the skyscraper is really thin. Like only 5 by 5 meters. I have nowhere to run. The doctor emerges from the room holding a much larger syringe this time around. Like, a meter long. She's holding it like an assault weapon. "Come over here. You need your medicine!" I don't think so. I look back at my arm and it looks even worse than before. The biggest blister bursts open and some thick yellow goo starts to ooze out of it. It is utterly disgusting. Oh but it gets worse. So much worse. Fat wasps start to climb out from inside the blister, through the puncture. There's goo all over them, and they immediately begin to climb my arm. I contemplate attempting to rip my arm off my body, but I understand that this is not possible. The doctor approaches me slowly, carrying the overly large syringe on her shoulder. But then, during all the panic, a short moment of clarity. I am dreaming. I try to forcefully forget about the condition of my arm, knowing that it will return to normal. The doctor is getting uncomfortably close to me, and I have no room left to move backwards... Oh for fucks sake! The name tag on the doctors lab coat... It reads "Dr. Faye" There is just barely enough time to go from full on panic to being seriously pissed. "Fuck this, I'm out of here." I stretch out my arms, and let myself fall backwards, down the skyscraper, looking at the sky all the way down. Weeeeeeeeeeee ... Uhm... This scene is going to change before I hit the ground yes? My vision fades just before I hit the ground. Good... *BAM!* OH GOD FUCK WHY... Oh... I thought I went splat there for a moment. But I actually just landed on my back in a new scene. I get up and begin to orient myself. My arm is back to normal, so we're off to a god start. Oddly enough I seem to have ended up in some kind of garage? Like, a pit box for race cars. Usually if I change scenes without thinking of a destination I land on a certain beach. I end up there quite often, but not this time for some reason. I rub my hands together, trying to purge my mind of the images of my arm. Then I spot it. A suspiciously large object hidden beneath a white sheet. I know exactly what this is! Pulling away the sheet reveals my xg bike. AWW YEAH! I walk around it inspecting it from all angles. The polished exhaust manifolds reflect the bright lighting in this garage. I touch them and slide my finger all the way back to the end of the exhaust pipes. Thinking about it, I haven't raced this in many years. I did have a dream about it a long time ago, but I don't think I raced it. Deep Dreaming - Barfight - Earth from Space - Exploring Childhood Dreams - Yuya - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views I could use my lucidity to attempt to resolve my current dream issues. But I decide to postpone it. The dream is stable and I know that is going to be wonderful if I race. Yes. I need some me time. Dreams are about having fun. I don't feel like resolving complex issues right now. I climb onto the bike. It feels exactly right. I flip the switches on the dashboard. ECU, FUEL, IGN. And it lights up in vibrant neon colors. I spot a pair of noise canceling plugs, resting next to some sunglasses on the fuel tank. I promptly stick the plugs into my ears. This nullifies all sound completely. I also put on the sunglasses, which fit nicely. I detach the auxiliary oil supply, which was keeping the engine nice and warm. I gently feather the throttle, and kick the starter hard. The engine roars to life. The sudden sound pressure feels like a punch to the stomach. It almost hurts. My entire body vibrates, as it resonates with the sound emitted by all 20 cylinders. Even though my hearing is muffled, the sound is painfully loud because it is amplified within this garage. The sudden vibrations greatly increase the quality of my dream. My vision is colorful and sharp now. All of my senses are engaged. I am in a pit box. There's a race track right outside. I pull the clutch all the way back and shift into first. A loud mechanical "clock" is emitted by the transmission and the dashboard display changes from N to 1. I lean my weight all the way forwards, feather the throttle and just let go of the clutch. After some wheel spin I am propelled out of the pit box and begin driving down the pit lane. I flip on the "G" switch on my dash board. This turns on an odd device that provides high amounts of downforce without causing any drag. Almost as if gravity was magically increased for the bike. With a precise foot press the engine changes into second and the bike wobbles forward and backward a bit. I start to gain speed and once I'm onto the track I punch it. At first the revs climb slowly, but then once I make it past 7k rpm I hear both turbos slowly spinning up, providing an enormous boost in torque. This violent increase in power actually catches me off guard and I accidentally change into 3rd. There is some more wobbling and the engine emits a rather unhealthy sound as I have starved the turbos from their much needed exhaust pressure. This is to be expected as I shifted way too soon. I gain some more speed before I need to slow down for a sharp hairpin. The brakes are loud and cause some vibration, but they are perfectly precise and very powerful. I shift back into second and engine screams up for a split second as the internal computers match the engine speed to that of the gearbox, followed by a loud rumble due to unburned fuel exiting the exhaust pipes. I throttle up gradually as I am exiting the corner. The turbos spin up again. This time I'm determined not to shift early. I grab the handles tightly, holding on for dear life. The acceleration brutally increases all the way through 10k, 11k, 12k, 13k rpm. The front wheel begins to lift off the track and I quickly shift into 3rd. This time there is no wobble. The gearbox computer executes the shift precisely the moment when my foot presses the shifting pedal. The front wheel slams back onto the track with a loud tire screech. Two lines of blue leds on my dashboard grow towards each other as the rpm increase, indicating that I am within the power band. I take it all the way up past 14k, until red leds at the end of the blue led strips light up, indicating that it is time to shift... I am now in 4th, doing close to 500km/h, as I enter a long corner. I lean my body into it, bringing the glowing orange exhaust manifolds into my field of view. The forces on my body increase, until eventually belts in my pants pull together automatically to cut off the blood flow to my legs. This just barely prevents me from passing out. I am unable to breathe until I exit the corner and the forces normalize. I lift my body up a bit, so that I emerge above the protective wind shield. The air pushes against my face hard. It hurts. I am so alive right now. I try to scream as loud as I can. My lungs can just barely overcome the air pressure. But there is barely any sound. The engine is just too loud. I cannot compete. But that doesn't matter. This is MY dream. I am alive. I am in control. After some laps the dream fades. I don't care. The contrast between "bad" and "good" adrenaline was quite interesting. Could have done without the bad part though. The images are still burned into my mind. x_X
Non-lucid Lucid First dream I had during the night was a dream of me scrolling the DV forums (wish I did a RC then) and after that I woke up Second dream, I went roller skating and saw a guy I know from school in it, one thing I noticed was that I was EXTREMELY short as well. Somewhere in the dream I went off with some random guy with long sandy blond hair, talking about something whilst walking amongst beams and ropes. During our walk, he managed to slip and fall and broke an arm. Next, I appeared in a massive house, I had a pet tiger who didn't look like a regular tiger, he was fat and round and had a head was the size of a boulder and he often growled like a dog. Somewhere during that part of the dream, I got upset over something (can't recall what) and I started seeing copies of the same person and I thought they were stalking me. Later in the dream, someone gave me a tour of a room where they head heaps of pets (from cats, dogs, a pelican (who was super aggressive). Next I was in my front room of my house with heaps of birds and somehow ended up in my room. I went to turn on a light and it lit up some kind of billboard hanging on my wall and I thought, that's not what the light is suppose to do, tried to do finger through hand, didn't go through, but as soon as I plugged my nose and breathed out "I'm dreaming!" I think. I stop myself, since I became a little excited and my dream started fading. I shouted "stabilize!" but the dream faded out Woke up in my bed, with my laptop sitting there (false awakening), thought that can't be right, did the nose plug again- - I became lucid again. But as soon as I plugged my nose and became lucid, I started falling into nowhere. I saw text flying past me, then it went grey and I just kept falling and falling, I tried to concentrate on teleporting somewhere by imagining a door to the Great Hall in Hogwarts, I even tried demanding vocally "take me to Hogwarts!", which didn't work so I thought what else can I do in a lucid, jokingly thought sex, then a sound of a voice message being activated intruded my dream with someone starting to talk about sex and I thought "I don't want this" and I felt myself losing lucidity as well so I forced myself awake. Woke up, and saw the remains of my dream being sucked away right before my eyes at the speed of light. It was a failed attempt at controlling, I'm still unsure if I dreamt of being lucid at one point, but I definitely became aware at some stage. The only good thing is that I managed to get a RC into my dream, which is something I'm quite proud of. It means I'm getting there . Will try again tonight.

I was with a large group of people (perhaps around 15 or so), standing in a room that seemed to be much to large for us. For example, the bed next to us was incredibly big- it would have taken probably 100 of me stacked shoulder to shoulder to even reach the mattress. In any case, I was pretty confused until I saw a group of giants walking through the door. The group of people I was with seemed not to be to alarmed, but I decided it was probably smarter to hide, so I sneaked under one of the beds. Despite our small size, the giants were able to see us immediately. They referred to us as ants, and they had a particular taste for us. Alarmingly, the giants also had an instinctual response of pecking, sort of like a chicken, if they stood in front of any humans. They would be standing, but, as soon as they moved before a group of 5 or so, they were able to immediately eat each one. They're speed was incredible and I was glad I was hidden. At least 2/3 of the group were immediately wiped out, but we were able to escape the room because of an odd trick we discovered. So long as you were speaking in the second or third person, the giant would not be able to immediately peck at you. They could still crush you, but this was avoidable. At one point a giant stood over me, so I kept repeating "you, you, you" and was able to escape. I'm not sure what happened up to this point, but it turned out only 3 people of the group were left including me. I was by myself at the time, riding a motorcycle on a long, mountainous road with a giant behind me, on foot. He was running as fast as he could in order to eat me presumably, and I was doing my best to lead him astray from the 2 others in my group, who were currently trying to kill the head giant. As I was riding around I taunted the giant, until I felt I was sufficiently far away, and told him that his boss was about to die. He didn't believe me until I showed him so green napkin with the time on it, at which point he realized he needed to run back. He attacked me, knocking me incredibly high in the air, and during my fall turned around. I was scared I would be killed on my landing, but miraculously landed on a "soft rock" In particular, I remember rising, and at the peak seeing so much of this mountain, which was pretty cool, and then falling, though I wasn't scared of the fact. Coincidentally, I landed near a school or university. I walked in and noticed everyone there that I passed was a black women. They were all confused as to why I was walking through the place, but I just continued walking past them until I met a girl I knew. She may have offered me food or similar, but, more generally, she did what she could to revitalize me. Where I was felt less like a school, and more like a distant kingdom, in which all the inhabitants were black women. The girl I knew was possibly the princess. My mind jumped to the 2 others in my group tackling the boss, who was a giant, but only his giant head was visible. Again, the two would talk in the second or third person, avoiding the other giants, and, though I don't remember exactly how, they were able to blow up the head giant.
I was in a luxurious hotel/building of some kind, with wood paneled walls and red/purple carpets. I am with a rag tag group of friends, old and new, from completely different places and times. We were surrounded by a lot of military leaders and important people both from films/TV shows I had watched and from real life, such as Obama and other people who I knew were important. Suddenly the dream is chaos as a number of assassinations start to take place; I see a group of these high ranking officials step into an elevator to plummet to their deaths, purple smoke fills the room and there are bodyguards and spies pulling out guns and starting a shoot out. Me and my friends also pull out firearms and join in, covering behind a sort of lobby like desk. One of my friends shouted "Why can't we all be friends" then a man in a grey suit who I know is my ally, grabs another guy and jumps out the window, I grab a grey cushioned, steel frame chair and jump out after him (hoping to use the chair to break my fall I guess) we plummet a huge distance before landing, the chair crumples under me and I survive, but I feel like i have broken my ribs. Looking around I have landed in a sunny park with people riding bikes/relaxing, I look back and see the building I jumped from, a huge grey tower block, with small windows. I can see the window from which I jumped. Somehow I end up in a doctors office at a high tech lab called "Black Villain", probably for my ribs. I remember seeing a pale blue poster on the wall, advertising "Carbonatate" Headphones. I also see the doctors clipboard, which has a drawing of a ball, with a line across to a man who seems to be fist pumping, I can tell this is supposed to represent him in good health.
I am writing this late at night, but I actually took some notes this morning so I can remember this dream fairly well. The ending made me wake up really early so I took notes then went back to sleep, but we'll get there. The first part of this dream I remember was being in a jungle area with a lot of wooden fortifications, tree forts, and things of that nature, inhabited by gnolls and some other creatures from World of Warcraft. I was some rogue-type character, and I somehow "knew" that I was level 1 and I knew my way around the area because I had "done it before," presumably as another character. This seems to occur a lot in dreams, and I should probably start looking for it as a dream sign, but that's a little tricky due to the disconnected feeling associated with playing a video game, which is what most of my dreams feel like. Anyway, there were these relic type objects scattered throughout some of the forts, and if you destroyed a few of the ones in a certain area, you could gain a new base, more money, or other rewards. So I was climbing around stealthily and assassinating a lot of the gnolls as well as destroying the relics. After doing this for a while, I moved to another area which was a huge frozen mountain area and the dream took on a new feel. I was now a part of a 5v5 battle in this area, a la League of Legends. I was Sejuani, which is odd because I never play her. After a small teamfight on top of a small plateau, I chased down another character who had escaped with little help. I can't remember for the life of me who it was I was chasing. It may have been Katarina, because I vaguely remember that it was a female with red hair. After giving up on the chase I explored a bit, still Sejuani. There were several wild white wolves in a rocky area and I just stampeded past them, turning to strike them a few times to get them off of my tail. I eventually came to a sheer cliff with a wall on the left side, and the wall and floor had many wooden "supports" sticking out. There was something valuable on the other side but the cliff was extremely windy, threatening to blow anyone who tried to cross off of the edge. I dismounted whatever Sejuani's mount is and suddenly became myself again. I skittered along the edge of the wall, holding onto the supports, and managed to get to the other side very easily. I recovered the treasure and began to make my way back, but suddenly the wind picked up even more. It pushed me back towards the cliff and I almost fell, but managed to grab onto a wooden pole at the last moment. I tried pulling myself up with it, but it ripped out of the ground and flew behind me. Now crawling, I was avoiding enough of the wind to get back to the wall. However, the wind was so intense that it kept ripping out the supports as I tried to hold onto them, and I nearly fell several times. During this time, I was "talking" to someone who wasn't there, and they made some comment about the reason the surface was so slick was because it was "good rust" and "bad wood," which struck me as very odd. I was about halfway back when it finally threw me off of the edge and I fell while laying on my back. I heard someone else talking about this bottomless cliff going on for eternity and getting infinitely colder as you fell, so I braced myself for the death I was sure would come and I felt the air growing colder quickly. However, it only really affected my ears for some reason, and they still didn't really feel all that cold. I could see blurry trees begin to move up into my field of vision, and I quickly realized that I was going to hit the ground and not freeze. My last thoughts were "Goodbye world," and then as I thought of my loved ones, "I'm sorry." Rather clichéd and deep for a dream death. When I hit the ground, everything went black and my back felt warm and dull, almost cramped feeling. And then suddenly my eyes opened and I was laying in my bed, hot under my blankets and sweating a bit. It was two hours before my alarm was set, so I took notes and went back to sleep. Sadly, I don't recall any further dreams.
