    1. Hold on to the bottle

      Comments: A bit behind on journaling, today's entry to be posted later, and sorry for any typos.

      Total sleep time: 6 1/2 hrs

      Pre bed: multivits, l-arginine

      Dream quality and recall: dreams were vivid, started earlier (3+ hrs after sleep), dream content was normal this time (referring to l-arginine). Recall - I was lazy

      Early Fragment1: I was left with the impression that this was lucid, but very little memory of it. It had to do with seeing some objects from Xanous's OBE? The only more or less clear visual memory is of small cotton-like object/s. >>> goes to category suspicious

      Fragment2: In my parents' place, some disturbing noise

      Dream3: I thought it was interesting and easy to remember. We all know how this ends.

      WBTB: missed the usual natural wake, woke up a bit later, and I drank the whole latte although I knew it was not such a good idea. Struggled for quite some time, but did not look at the clock as not to add up more anxiety.

      Dream4: In my parents' place, aunt is also there and starts eating, this distracts me. I casually lie on the couch, three blankets and a bottle of plum sauce.

      Dreamlet5: some rasta guy

      I drift in and out of sleep. In bed, I want to sleep. I continue with my efforts to fall asleep.

      Dream6 WILD: I'm in those strange states where I am semi-consciously controlling what I'm doing, trying to have the dream form around me and hold on to it. The first thing I notice are my hands, clasping a bottle. Slightly confused as I think for a second I am still in bed, I keep my eyes closed. Still not fully in the dream, I know that the key to my integration today has to do with me holding the bottle of I think then alcohol or plum sauce, so I apply as much pressure as I can. Then the surroundings become clearer and I know I am successfully there.

      I am sitting on a bench in my neighborhood, no DCs in sight. I begin touching the surface of the white bench to stabilize. I look up and see a few ghost-like transparent but black birds in the sky. I check out my surroundings but I have an issue moving my head, and then identify that the problem is coming from my right eye, which gets some sort of tunnel vision. I don't want to move my head too much to avoid waking up, so I ignore this and decide to walk on the street.

      I make a few steps and then my right side is paralyzed, so I lose balance and fall. Oh, no, not this thing again! The feeling is very hard to describe, but it's like I am feeling the physical body's atonia with my dream body, which makes me lose control over parts of the dream body. I try to ignore the issue, drag myself forward a bit and think that maybe concentrating on some tasks will fix it. I remember four tasks. I don't think I am able to get to Xanous at the moment. There are no DCs around to interact with. I think about transformation but nothing seems to happen. What did the guys say to do in such a case? Try floating up. Doesn't work. I have no dream control at all.

      It is also cold, and I notice my blanket is nearby so I want to reach for it. The last thing I remember is looking above a building and seeing a large dark military helicopter above it. It is also ghost-like transparent. I am not very interested in it, I look down, struggle for a little while and then give up. I wake up. I am too caffeinated to fall asleep although I try.

      Note: This was not scary in any way, but it was really annoying.

    2. Lucid this week

      (WILD)I entered the lucid dream when I could see through my eyelids, I instantly jumped out of my bed, I opened my curtains and marveled at how wrong my mind recreated my window, its all skinny now but in waking life it is big. Suddenly I shoot back into my body and my sister is shaking me try to wake me up but I can't move but I mumble to her that I'm just paralyzed for a bit and to hold on, but then I think how could she have gotten into my room when it was locked, so I shoot back into lucid and get up and she is gone, I walk out of my door and run through the kitchen and go outside, I don't know why i didn't try to change scenes, i just know that I was intrigued at how well it all looked yet things were different. I saw my neighbors through the window and they looked different (damn woke up because certain people insist upon stomping around the house with all the force they can muster up)
    3. Giants in the Antarctic

      I had a dream last night that was kind of nightmarish. My coworkers Dan, Dustin, and I were all giants; like Gulliver's Travels size, so that as we waded through the ocean the waves lapped up against our knees. We were wading our way down towards Antarctica. Why? When you're that tall, why not?

      We got to the south pole, and from my perspective, the entirety of the Antarctic continent was about the size of an extra large pizza with a conical shaped mountain in the center. We stood around it, gawking and joking about how small it was in person. For some odd reason, I remember dipping my finger into the waters just offshore of the continent and schools of tuna would swarm around it. They would disperse and reconvene as I raised and dipped my finger, so I did it for a little bit out of amusement.

      I turned my attention back to the continent, and the was a yellow mamba snake coiled around the mountain wearing a yellow cloth hood (?). Dan and Dustin encouraged me to grab it and toss it, but I was so terrified I couldn't move (actually sleep paralysis). I tried to back away from the snake, worried it would turn around and strike, but I literally could not move because my body was still in sleep paralysis. Eventually my bod came to and in turn I awoke from the dream. Snake averted!

      ...but I didn't write it down. Shame on me. I vaguely recall that it felt like I was repeating a previous dream. In the lucid dream, I was explaining to a DC that I had had this dream before and I knew what would happen next. That went on for a while. Then I took control, changed the scene and had some dream sex. It felt like at least 45 minutes total. When the dream finally ended, I was left in SP for several minutes. It wasn't uncomfortable. It felt interesting.

    5. Meeting Table Fellatios

      I woke up this morning very early accidentally and for no reason, I switched position to sleeping on the back and after a while, I tried to move and I was in sleep paralysis. I wasn't terrified by the idea of falling into a coma as usual but I heard my dad's voice calling me, and at first I ignored it but then I thought it might be something important, so I woke up from sleep paralysis intentionally, reality checked and realised that the voice I heard was a hallucination. So I fell back to sleep on my side.

      Sleep paralysis again after a while, so I sat there this time trying not to mess everything up and waited for a dream to form. Suddenly, a dream scene forms. It was a big meeting room with a large table, with students from my class sitting around. For no apparent reason, I was not that rational and awake in that dream, though I was completely lucid with no doubts. Anyway, due to my fuzzy brain at this moment, I started forcing blowjobs to some girls from there. I think some of them weren't in the mood but there were some which had no problem.

      I think though I didn't get a blowjob at the end but it was fun. As I didn't instantly write down this dream, I think maybe I got one but can't remember it that well. Anyway, then some moment, the dream faded at phases, Once it was all black and then a scene was there with people and things everywhere. This time I was thinking about what I was thinking when I was awake about doing in my dreams, like eating, flying and other, but due to the fuzzy dream, I couldn't.

      Sometime, I woke up, and that's all!

      After a day at the fair, me and the band congregate on a beautiful cliff over-looking the ocean which was litt beautifully by the moonlight. It would of been incredibly relaxing had I not remembered this dream. As the band is talking I hear the water becoming agitated and I immidiately grab our drum major and run off to the side where the cliff circles a wall and a gap becomes clear. I get ready to jump it but stop just before because it was too large. I lose my footing and plummet towards the ocean and I know what monsters wait below. I then find myself struggling to escape the dreamworld. My window in RL becomes visible but the dream is still trying to take hold. I feel my bed start to shake me kicking It trying to awaken somebody so that they can come wake me. I finally manage to break free but unable to move as I am now in sleep paralysis for a few minutes until I finally regain control. (this was my first SP encounter)
    7. Fake paralysed arms

      I was watching on as two people were resting in a hollow in the ground out in the wilderness. Suddenly they were surrounded by soldiers, pointing rifles at them. The soldiers, upon finding out who they were, put down their rifles and said they were there to rescue them. The woman claimed that her arms were paralysed. I took her to a nearby park bench where we all sat and played cards. I suspected that her arms were fine, so I started to torment her by putting things near her hands etc. Eventually she got mad and just grabbed things, and then everybody saw that her arms were fine. We all laughed about it (including her).

      Here was a lucid dream where I had fun but ran into some serious dream control trouble. Still wondering what I might have done differently here.

      Lucid #9: Sunny Day "Sleep Paralysis" (August 14, 2012)

      I'm walking outside of my childhood home on a bright, sunny day. I'm drinking in the scenery "lucid living" style. I get the sense that I'm dreaming and find myself lucid.

      I'm calm and I rub my hands together, enjoying the beauty of the scenery. Everything looks very vivid in this dream, with none of the darkness I'd struggled with before. Just to check, I ask for "maximum lucidity" anyway, but nothing additional happens.

      My hands look surprisingly normal so I study the sky for a while, enjoying the look of the clouds and the fact that I can stare into the sun without feeling any discomfort.

      When I try to move, though, I suddenly realize that I'm flat on my back, completely paralyzed. It's as if the idea of my physical, paralyzed body is intruding on the dream scene.

      I struggle to move for a bit, not succeeding. Finally, I attempt an in-dream out of body exit. (This would be a second dream body exiting what I know is my first dream body -- a delightfully weird idea.) I manage to peel a second set of arms out of my paralyzed arms. As my new head and torso start to exit, though, the dream scene collapses and
      I'm awake in bed.

      This one's a real head scratcher. I'm not sure what I should have done differently here apart from trying not to get that mesmerized by the dream scenery. Perhaps I just need more practice with OBE-style exits.

      An alternative idea that I had was to imagine that I'm getting dragged down into the ground. That's a bit too "Nightmare on Elm Street" for me, though, so I don't know!
    9. Bleeding Effect

      I had a really scary FA, where I was really awake, and I could see things! I'm in a room that isnt my own (i didnt notice until later) this ghoulish figure was moaning and leaned over like a slouch. His eyes glowing slightly greenish yellow.. He kinda looked like my brother. Anyway the First time i noticed him i told him to go away, he did - then he'd keep coming back... I could barely say "go away" I managed to get my leg out of my bed to kick him. My foot hit the wall and i hurt my foot - that was when the dream was replaced by my real room..

      Getting shivers just writing this! Was this some sort of hallucination?
    10. Sleep-Paralysis and Glowing Aliens.

      Fragment 1:
      I can't exactly remember what the beginning of this dream was about, but I remember feeling guilty and happy at the same time throughout the start of it. A strange combination if you ask me. But anyway, the first thing I can clearly remember is being surrounded by glowing lights, that kind of in a way resembled stars. It was beautiful. They were all kinds of colors. It felt like I was floating in space, or suspended in mid-air. Then a figure faded in, a young male, attractive, yet alien. His skin was a shade of navy blue and his pupil-less eyes glowed like the lights surrounding me. He had long wispy hair, the same shade as his skin. And there were spots on him that were translucent, and showed the same glowing light as the stars beneath his skin. He took my hand and caressed my face. Then, this is when I realized I was dreaming. Because one, I thought, "Oh no, I shouldn't feel attracted to this thing, I feel like I'm cheating on the person I love." And two, I realized that it wasn't normal to have an alien thing touching my face with his hands. Then I guess, the dream became lucid and I pushed away. I woke up from the realization of it (which I wish I wouldn't have because I seldom have lucid dreams.) And then I drifted back to sleep.

      Fragment 2:
      I had the feeling that I was awake, but I couldn't quite wake up. I couldn't control myself, and it seemed like I was drifting away from my body. I felt afraid, scared. I saw floating open-mouthed faces close to mine, but I couldn't open my mouth to scream. I could tell I was in my bedroom, though. I think I may have been in a state of sleep-paralysis. It's not the first time it's happened. But it was still frightening. Once I finally woke up I didn't dare go back to sleep. I was too afraid, which was silly. I know that dreams can't hurt me. But regardless, it wasn't pleasant.

      I wish I could remember more details. My dreams were actually somewhat interesting this time.
    11. 2/3 Sat: Getting Back to Lucid

      I haven't written in my dream journal in several months but I'm trying now to get back into the habit.

      Magazine, Polar Bear
      I'm with my sister and I think my mother. We are at a zoo, but the style of the architecture is like a Japanese monastery alongside a quiet brook and a wooden bridge. We are writing an article about the zoo for a magazine. I remember the image of arranging blocks of text and pictures on a white template.

      Then we are looking at the polar bear and I admire how it's fur looks when it's all wet. But then the bear sees me and gets angry. He leaps over the railing of his pen and starts chasing me. I turn and run along the brook to the bridge and across. I feel that if I can just get across the bridge and over one more fence that I will be safe.

      Then the bear chase scene repeats twice more. The last time, the bridge looks different and I am confused that I am going the wrong way.


      I woke up pretty frightened. Just a dream.... Just a dream.... I couldn't get back to sleep. After about an hour of failing I got up and read for a bit. Eventually got back to sleep, not sure when.

      Lucid, Can't Move
      I start with a false awakening. It's quite dark. I look down toward my feet and see my room looks very different from what it should. I am confused, I try to think where I am and what time it is. I realize I am dreaming but without much clarity. I concentrate on my body for a moment as I prepare to move. I am afraid I am feeling my physical body and if I move I will wake up. I try to push that thought out of my mind and just do it. I try to sit up but instead hover and tumble as if weightless in outer space. My body just drifts through the air; I am paralyzed and can move my limbs or neck.

      I drift through the room toward the door. I try to observe the place but it's very dark and unclear. As I float through the door and then the ceiling and walls, the scene seems to change, but always a dark room cluttered with unidentifiable objects. In one room, it seems to be a dark night club and I think I see people but they are all frozen and don't move.

      After about a minute of this, I sense that I am not just floating but rather that someone is holding me and guiding me along. I speak weakly "Who?". Then with more confidence in my voice, I say more clearly "Who is holding me?" I try to turn my head to look but can't hardly. I start to be become unnerved and force myself to wake up.


      Lucid, Come Fly With Me
      I begin again with a false awakening. It is similar to the previous dream: a dark room that seems somewhat like my real bedroom but unfamiliar. This time, I hear my mother's voice from the next room. She's saying something about missing the bathroom. I think, wait, do I live with my mother? I have to think about that one real hard. No, I don't. This is a dream.

      I sit up in bed and the dream is quiet unstable. My mother enters the room. I get up and walk towards her but she gets pulled back and disappears in the void. I turn toward the bathroom, I suppose instinctively as something I do when I wake up. I hear another voice. Not my mother. It sounds like a younger girl. I turn back to the door to look at her and I see faintly a pretty girl with brown hair. She's half invisible and the whole dream is still quite unstable. I walk toward and reach for her but she's floating away. It's like she's just an image on my retina that don't get closer as I move. I follow the image of her through several doors and hallways. Her image morphs and fades in and out.

      I slow down, I try to focus. I stop walking and just look at my surroundings. Things become clearer and the girl in front of me becomes solid. I grab her hand and say "Hi, you're so beautiful." I lead her through another door and we are outside. It's sunny, though we are in the shadow of the building we just exited. It seems like a garden-style condo complex. I lead the girl toward the sunlight, not sure where I am going. As we pass a doorway, I spot another person peeking out the door. It's another girl, this one blonde and with a bright blue dress. I take her hand and lead both girls out to the edge of the building where there are some trees. I turn back and look at the girls. They are both very pretty. I see now that the first is wearing a red dress under a leather jacket. They have earrings and make up and handbags. They look sharp.

      Without really thinking, I climb the tree and use it to get on the roof. I help the girls up as well. I want to fly and I want them to fly with me. They don't seem convinced that they can. I try to explain that they can. I'm not sure exactly what I said.

      Then my recall skips. I think maybe I flew away alone and landed elsewhere. I can begin to recall again being in a different part outside of the condos. The sun is vividly bright. Looking down at the white sidewalk makes my eyes strain. I look up and see yet another girl. This one with a bright magenta dress. Looking at it too makes my eyes hurt. I walk closer to her to get a look at her face. Then everything fades away and I wake up.
    12. polar bear mesmerism; canal and plane crash

      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

      I was in an audience, probably on the far left side, a few rows back from the front, in a zoo-theatre. On the stage were two workers, one at the front of the stage and one at the back. The one at the back of the stage wore a white jumpsuit and cap and may have been mopping the floor. The one at the front stood before two "polar bears."

      The two "bears" stood up and were on the right (my right) side of the stage. The stood next to each other, side to side, so that it was hard for me to see the one in the back. The one toward the front, however, did not look much like a real polar bear, but like a mix between a polar bear and the huge, shaggy dog on Sesame Street. It was all shaggy, and its face, except a huge, black nose, was covered over with shaggy fur.

      It was like I had come in in the middle of the worker's act. He was telling everybody how he could freeze a polar bear so that it wouldn't hurt him, even when he got close to it. He was now standing right in front of the front polar bear (which towered over him), repeating the words, "Don't move, don't move." He may also have been stroking the bear's right arm.

      The bear didn't move, and it only seemed to be slightly annoyed by the zoo worker. The zoo-worker then said that this was all a matter of training, and that on some days the training still didn't work. So it was kind of a dangerous thing to do.

      The bear now turned toward us in the audience. I was now in the very front row, on the very far right side, very close to the front polar bear. The bear, turning to us, made a weird motion with his arms, like a magician's gesture, and made a "sshha!" sound, which was also supposed to be magic.

      Nobody reacted to the bear. I don't think anybody knew or cared what it was doing. But I understood. The bear wanted to hypnotize and freeze somebody else. He wanted the hypnotizing relationship to be reciprocal, so that he could feel he had a little control over the situation. So I did my best to act hypnotized and frozen, to make the polar bear feel good.

      The worker was now over at the left side of the stage. He lifted a baby polar bear out of something like a cradle or one of those clear hospital beds for newborns. The baby bear looked like an actual animal. But it was long and greyish, like a seal, with arms and legs like a polar bear.

      The worker said the baby bear was just at the beginning of its training, so that the worker's ability to freeze the baby bear would be less predictable. But the worker thought he could do it. But as soon as he tried, the baby bear took a swipe with his sharp claws at the worker's mouth.

      The worker said, "Whoa!" and put the baby bear back in its bed. He then told the audience, "Yeah, I don't think we can do it today. The baby bear isn't being agreeable."

      Dream #2

      I, possibly as someone else, was in a small boat in something like a Venetian (?) canal at night. I saw myself as if from behind and separated by ten meters or so.

      The canal was much wider than usual, and it was in the midst of a town that looked almost as if it were made only of wooden frames and scaffolding. The whole thing was very still, and it was lit from above with something like stage lights.

      My small boat was close to a small, wooden dock, at which knelt a kind of young, handsome, Arabic man. The man had a moderate mustache and a slightly stubbly face. He wore robes and a small, wrapped headdress. He had given me some kind of advice, which I accepted. I was now rowing, or simply drifting, away in my boat.

      I was now in an airplane, possibly with my brother. The plane was crashing into the ocean, not far from some small island.

      There was some kind of narration over the event, possibly as a memory from a female passenger. She said something about how everybody was acting okay as the plane crashed. But, she said, once the plane flipped upside-down, it was extremely difficult for everybody to stay composed. It was even painful.

      I hadn't remembered the plane flipping over. I thought, Is that really how it's going to happen? I don't know if I can take it!

      But the plane flipped over and crashed into the water. As it flipped over and crashed, I seemed to be separated from the whole situation, as if only imagining in my head all the different painful possibilities of being flipped upside-down in an airplane, crashing my head against the ceiling, etc.

      There was a lot of panicked feeling, but it all kind of faded away. The scene faded into my brother and I floating in the boat on the canal. We had drifted out toward the center of the canal. We sat up and began rowing our way back to the sides.

      There had been some huge storm and flood in the canal. My brother and I had barely survived. But the water levels were now back to normal. Things were calm.

      We were rowing our way to a portion of the canal that was light with morning light, not dark, like the previous portion of canal (still) was. We rowed in the water between two long, wooden docks. On the platform at the end of and between the two docks stood the Arabic man. I realized that the advice this man had given me had saved me and my brother.

      I somehow left my brother on the front end of the left dock. I rowed back toward the end.

      I approached the man. He either reached out or bent over to help me up to the dock. He also had an object in his hand. It looked like some kind of NERF toy. It was a hot-pink circle outline against a black circle of fabric, like some kind of pad for catching velcro balls.

      I was very grateful for the man's advice. I wanted to prove it in a really personal way. So I asked the man, "How do you say 'thank you' in Arabic?"

      The man asked, "Arabic?" He stood up and looke a little confused, maybe even uneasy. I noticed that a couple other men were with the Arabic man. They were all doing some kind of work in the city behind them. The city may have been white stone buildings or more of the wood-frame structures. The whole scene was bathed in gentle, yellow sunlight.

      I was worried the man wasn't Arabic. But he finally answered something like, "Meretas," or, "Muhretas."

      I was still in the boat, rowing back toward the front of the dock. The man walked alongside me, or a little behind, on the left (as I had approached them) dock. The man and I were discussing something.

      I was working a little too hard to make the man feel at ease. I still felt like I had somehow offended him by asking him how to say "thank you" in Arabic. I felt like he now also regarded me suspiciously. I was trying to prove I wasn't suspicious.
    13. Fragment 1/3 - Sleep Paralysis

      Notes:
      Haven't had good recall lately... These three fragments are from the past two days.

      This was a false awakening. I was on my bed, and had just 'woken' from a previous dream. I wanted to get up and do something else, but I was stuck in sleep paralysis. I experienced some weird hallucinations; when I opened my eyes near the beginning of the episode, I saw tiny stars from the mario games that were floating near the ceiling. I remember squeezing my eyes shut and finding myself in a large garden with trimmed hedges, grey stone for walkways, and lots of pollen in the air. That must have been the 'dream' that was forming, but I soon lost it.

      I came to the unconscious conclusion that I was dreaming, and tried to snap out of it, on the verge of shouting because the SP hallucinations were becoming frightening (these ones were mostly tactile, not visual - my eyes were closed now). However, the level of lucidity was incredibly low, so it could have simply been part of the dream plot, not real awareness. The viewpoint changed from first- to third-person sometime during this part of the dream.

    14. Most Terrifying Dream - Visitor and Knife-Based Pain

      Two hours after waking up today, I took a nap, because I was hoping to enter SP and have a WILD. Instead, I fell asleep normally and then entered multiple false awakenings. What happened next was one of the longest and most effed-up dreams I've had. When I woke up, I did a record amount of reality checks. Where in the world did this come from, why is my subconscious so demented, and why did it have to happen when I was attempting a WILD?

      It was afternoon. I was outside, and the sky overhead looked normal for the time of day. I was walking along the right side of my house, sandwiched between the house and a long, straight wooden fence that extended down it. This fence was ashen in colour and seasoned-looking, with uneven, ragged boards that were slightly pointed on top. There was green grass everywhere, and the exterior of the house itself was made of ruddy red bricks with light-coloured cement in between. I was headed to the backyard, where I "knew" the house's garage would be. When I rounded the back corner of the house and reached the yard, it was an extremely strange setup.

      There was the same, tall wooden fence as the one along the side of the house, but this one was much taller, probably twenty feet tall. It fenced in the entire yard on three sides, then connected to the fence I'd just walked along. Because of the yard fence's height, it blocked out the view of everything outside the yard, although I could see tall, normal-looking trees going at least ten feet past the height of the fence. The presence of the ridiculously tall fence and trees caused it to become darker in the yard, since there wasn't as much room for light to get in.

      I looked to the left, at the yard. There was just straight brick on the house; there were no doorways or anything to get in and out. There was just more slightly-overgrown grass, and the garage. This garage was painted white and looked rustic; a few patches of paint here and there were flaking off. The garage door was open, but I didn't see any cars.

      Then, someone from my school's graduating class walked out. I recognized her immediately, and she looked normal - she had long dark brown hair, freckles, and blue eyes. I had invited her over, and now it was time for her to leave. I smiled and waved as she walked past me, leaving through where I'd just come from.

      Then, I saw my dad walk up beside me.

      "Hey [Puffin], can you help me for a sec?" His voice sounded a bit muffled. I didn't think this was odd.

      He led me down the right side of the house, where I had entered the yard from. Once we got past it, the area wasn't the front yard or driveway of a house like you'd expect; instead, it was another backyard. The setup for this part is very hard to explain because of how complex it was. The side of the house we'd just walked down opened up into a square-shaped lot (probably 60x60 feet), completely closed-in by the same tall fence, and on the other side of the fence you could see more trees. A few of these trees even arced over the fence and above the yard a little; their branches and trunks were thick and gnarled. However, they didn't cast any discernible shadows of their own; the whole yard was just in one solid pale shadow, darker than the back yard. The terrain of this yard slanted up five or six feet towards the back of the lot, especially on the left side.

      In the middle of this yard, leaving three or four feet on each side for walkspace, was a big hole. The edges of this hole were smoothed out, and covered in grass, but then it steeply dropped off into blackness; it was very, very deep. Sometime when I was walking along the house, my dad had gone past me and ended up on the other side of the hole, in the far left corner of the yard where the ground was the most raised. Apparently he wanted to return to my side, but now the yard was littered with big, wide boards of slightly-destroyed wood. Most of them were irregularly-shaped, like the random pieces of paper a kid cuts out with scissors. My dad couldn't just walk around this field of wood, because they were filling the yard all the way up to the fence. But in the hole, there was a possible way to cross it. There were two very, very tall grey rocks with flat tops floating in the hole. Connecting the two rocks was a large, flat piece of dry grey wood. There were two other wood planks, and this created a bridge across the whole.

      On the middle plank, there was also a big, triangular-shaped rock that must have been four feet tall. It looked like it weighed a ton. My dad slowly made his way onto the planks (which wobbled a lot, and he held out his arms for balance, but he didn't look concerned). Once he reached the middle plank, he pushed the rock down into the big hole without any effort, and it disappeared. There was no way he'd be able to push it in real life.

      I decided to check in for the day and sleep. I walked away a few steps and looked at the brick wall of the house. Unlike before, when I saw no doors, now there was a basic white door with a gold doorknob. I opened it and walked into blackness. As I walked forward a few steps, I felt slightly numb, losing feeling in my body as I sometimes do when I'm lucid and the dream ends. And I did become slightly lucid at this point! However, the dream scene changed.

      I woke up in bed. But not really; it was a false awakening. I couldn't see anything around me because my eyes were still closed, but I knew the room was spacious and had a high ceiling that was painted beige, as were the walls. I knew the bed was an antique, with polished wood with fine details and rich colouration. I knew the bed had white bedsheets and a thicker white quilt on top of that. I was on top of the covers, lying on my left side.

      Immediately, I "knew" I was awake and resolved to DEILD. I breathed normally and stayed still. Although the third breath was a bit quicker and deeper than the others, which usually stops my DEILD attempts, I managed to get small vibrations rolling up and down my body. In the center of my vision, I saw a light blue square that was blurring in an outwards direction (almost like a tunnel). It expanded, and a blurry, pale scene formed in front of me. There were very abstract, blurry, dark grey shapes of people's heads and some desks. The only colors in this scene were darker, pale blue and greys. The scene then started to fade slowly as I started to fail the DEILD.

      As the scene faded, taking about ten seconds, I saw a very clear image in my mind's eye - it was a shoulders-and-up shot of a beautiful woman holding a baby up against her shoulder, one hand resting on the back of its head. I heard a woman's voice narrating something along the lines of, "most mothers prefer to hold their baby with two hands if they are pregnant." It was nonsensical but I didn't realize it.

      Once that image faded, I was back in bed with my eyes closed. I thought, 'let's try this one more time'.

      I managed to get the blurry square again, but it was darker than before and disappeared quickly, leaving me lying in bed again. I laid there on my left side for a few moments and breathed out normally. But I didn't get any results.

      Then I opened my eyes, giving up. I blinked once and looked up at the ceiling. Then, I suddenly heard an incredibly high-pitched, desperate scream, like something straight of a nightmare. It said, "don't look up!", and the "up" drew itself out into a long scream of its own. In the next instant, I was still looking at the ceiling, the yellow colors and window briefly flashed white like a camera had gone off, and I heard one of those sounds like in a horror film - it's like the sound wind makes when a big truck drives past you on the highway, minus all the mechanical wheel and actual truck noises. When everything was white, I saw the bright green outline of a tall church steeple, leaning over towards the right. This was in the corner of my vision. The 'outline' was most like someone had taken a simple photo and inverted the colors, so the blacks were white and the other stuff was green.

      The flash only lasted a moment, and then as the whiteness and church faded, I felt a momentary 'shift' or acceleration downwards, although I didn't actually move from the bed at all. It was like an invisible force had come into effect and was spiritually trying to pull me down. Then, I felt a hand strongly press me down into the bed, and roll me over onto my stomach, with the left side of my face pressed right against the bed. I couldn't see anything. At some point my vision had stopped working and everything had gone a dark, dark brown. My back was suddenly exposed and uncovered as I laid there, and then I felt a sharp blade slowly going into my back, dragging slowly along my rib. It started about four inches below my right shoulder blade, tracing along that rib. The knife was excruciatingly painful as it slowly cut its way through my skin, which seemed to give too much resistance to be realistic, but that only made it worse. I had never felt this much pain in a dream before. The cut went down along the skin and stopped when it got to the very side of my body. All the while, I was paralyzed, and I screamed like crazy.

      For a second, I became almost semi-lucid, and I broke free of the paralysis, but when I moved it, was like my bones were stiff and gelled together or something. I turned around, a bit more onto my back and looked at what was doing this. It was a hooded figure, with a black robe like the grim reaper, and surrounded in something like grey smoke. There was a thin, lighter brown woven cord loosely coiled three or four times around his neck; this cord was made of long brown hair! I wasted no time and growled at this creature and attempted to kick him away, but I couldn't move my legs anymore. I tried to punch him, but I was totally paralyzed again.

      He turned me over and proceeded to cut another line into me, slightly further down my body along the next rib. It was really painful. This cut lasted about seven seconds, slightly less than the first, but then I felt another one, a bit further down still. The whole time, I screamed, and as the last cut ended, I saw a flash of another brief image: my vision turned a solid yellow, and I saw three abstract curves that were larger on one end and smaller on the other. The three lines gradated from red to dark brown, almost black, and only took up about a tenth of the total area of my vision; they appeared off near the left side.

      For a brief moment during the cuts, I was aware of my sister lying on the bed beside me, and she said something like, "I told you so", but I can't remember the exact words. The words she said were laced with pain as if she was getting cut, too.

      The dream finally ended, and when I woke up, I could feel residual stinging in my back. I didn't get up immediately, nervous that I'd entered another FA. It took a lot of RCs and a few minutes of lying stock-still in bed before I could get up and shake things out.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID ASTRAL

      I had like one hour more of sleep after a short time awake, so I intended to induce a lucid dream. Usually, WBTB has a 100% rate success for me, but I have little to no opportunity to do this on the mornings.


      Suddenly, I could see my arms resting under my pillow. I figured that it was not possible to see my arms because my head was on the pillow, in fact, I still could feel my head on the pillow. Also, I was wearing my sleep glasses, so it was physically impossible to see at all. I figured I could be dreaming, so I decided to move my arms and start to fly to make it stable. I could not move my arms, but I felt I was still moving. I wanted to do a Reality Check as I was not sure in what plane of existence I was. I realized I did not feel like in my dream body. I was hearing loud buzzing noises and I felt vibrations around my entire body.
      I realized I was about to Astral Project. I was well aware I was not dreaming, and obviously, I was not awake. I started to visualize white light around my body and asked for protection. I was having a hard time to completely separate from my physical body.
      I tried to complete one of Monroe's techniques that was appropriate for the situation I was on. I wanted to roll out from my physical body. My physical body was like a magnet, pulling me hard. When I got closer to bed to just roll out, my physical body started pulling me even harder. Eventually, I lost Astral Vision, but still felt the vibrations and also, double consciousness. My Astral body got paralyzed, but my consciousness was still out. I knew I was not going to complete separate from my body, so I remained calm to not ruin trance and attempt again.



      I felt my body in bed. I had no vibrations, no buzzing sounds and I could not feel my Astral self. I remained in bed until a dream started forming. I wanted to try to Astral Project, but I did not want to push my self too much so I allowed the dream to form.

      I had a FA in my room already knowing I was dreaming. I double checked to make sure I was in the dream plane. My physical body was not in bed and I had the lucid feeling, not the Astral feeling. I attempted to just float with though without success, then I jumped to fly with success, so I confirmed I did not project.

      Some weird guy tried to grab me for some reason. I focused on super strenght. I grabbed this guy and I squashed him until he was small as a paper ball. No blood, no gore, it just got smaller and smaller like a paper ball.







      I left my room and when to my living room as on several lucid dreams. As usual, the door was closed. I flew out home. I was night. I had no big goals for lucidity and I was not lucid enough (the dream was not good enough) for my major mediumship goals, so I decided to just enjoy a flight, as I love to see the stars and the moon. I planned to maybe go to the Sun as I never did before. Suddenly, I felt double consciousness and the dream obliterated.
      It was time for me to wake up... my inner clock alarm ringed.
