Lucid Dreams
First lucid dream of the year! I don't have much time to describe it, so. My cousin was gonna be a daddy. I sent him a message to congratulate him, but I messed it up. Then, I asked him if we could be business partners. After that was done, I went to a weird room where two people who were supposed to be my best friends were. One of them said they wanted to play a game, but the other said they were too tired. We decided to play one round. The game was weird and boring, something about poetry. There were other people there, plus my dog. I was weary of a cable, and I started thinking that one of my best friends wanted to kill us all. Then, my other best friend mentioned the storms. I had no idea what she was talking about, so I went to the window and opened it. The roads were covered in... I dunno. It looked like the city had been taken over by a swamp. I looked at that and thought "OMG THIS IS SURREAL HOW DID IT HAPPEN BECAUSE OF ONE STORM THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE" "...wait a minute. THAT. IS. IMPOSSIBLE. THIS IS A DREAM!" So I slapped myself in the face a few times and felt no pain. I decided to jump through the window and fly. I did that and, as I was falling, I thought "well, I didn't REALLY do a RC, so I may have just killed myself..." But, at the last second, I started flying. I flew around the destroyed roads and, for some reason, sang the Dragon Ball Z theme. It was fuuunnn! And that was it!
After my WBTB, I WILD into my living room at home. I realize that I’m an idiot and didn’t pick anything to do for this lucid (maybe because I wasn’t entirely expecting another lucid so close to the last one). I try to think of anything that might be interesting to try out. I somehow recall a lot of people on the forum saying that meditating in a lucid is an awesome experience, but considering how I don’t meditate in real life (and when I try to, I get too distracted by my ADD thoughts), I’m not sure if I should try. But, no better options come to mind, so I figure, what the heck. I sit down in the classic meditation pose, and I actually start to levitate off the ground a bit. The sights and sounds around me seem to get much clearer. So far so good, I guess. Surely this’ll be easier than in waking life with all of its distractions. In this case I was wrong. My dad walks in the room. (Story Time: Whenever I’m home on break from school, I’m basically full-time tech support for my parents. Apart from fixing computers/phones/TVs/cable boxes/etc., my dad will often interrupt whatever I’m doing about every 10 minutes to ask me some question about his phone/computer/Facebook. The answer is always something so simple that he could’ve Googled it himself, but he insists that I help him. As you’ll see, this habit of his has carried over into my dreams…) He sits down and immediately starts blabbing something about his phone acting up. I remind myself that this is a dream and try to ignore him, but it seems to make him louder. I finally get up and walk out of the room, but he follows me out, still talking about his phone. I run upstairs, go in my room, and lock the door. I can still hear him outside the door, now raising his voice to a shout. Ugh, this is ridiculous. I crack open the window, get a running start, and jump outside, flying off away from the house. Unfortunately, before I can get back to meditating, the dream destabilizes and I lose lucidity. I’m now in this movie theater with a couple friends to see the latest Disney-Pixar movie. It’s supposedly an IMAX movie theater, even though it’s really just a really wide curved screen that stretches across the entire front of the room. The room is much larger than an actual movie theater, and it looks like it seats a few thousand people. Me and a couple friends are off to the left side, about 10 rows from the front. For some reason, though, the seats are angled off towards the left wall, so I only see a small portion of the left side of the screen until I turn my head really far to the right to see the rest of the picture. We sit through the first few minutes of the movie, when the movie pauses. Some lady walks to the front of the theatre, and 3 more flat projector screens lower from the ceiling, showing a slide about some charity organization. I can somehow see her nametag from where I’m sitting, which says Hanna on it. She introduces herself as Hanna Montana. “I know what you’re thinking, but I’m missing the last ‘h’. So no, I’m not a widely-adored pop superstar.” I turn to my friend next to me. “To be fair, neither is Miley Cyrus.” My joke made 3 rows around me start cracking up, and my friend even spit out his drink from laughing so hard. We sit through the movie (which amazingly is only about 10 seconds long), and me and my friends kind of hang out in the theater for a few minutes afterwards. A police officer walks up to my friend Joel and tells him that he’s gonna have to come with him. I try standing up for him. “What seems to be the problem, officer?” “Well, this hooligan was spotted last night causing a ruckus during a showing of Star Wars, and so he’s been banned from the building. Yet somehow, he managed to crawl his way back in here past our security.” Joel walks out into the aisle, with the cop behind him. He gets to the top of the stairs, and suddenly makes a run for it. The cop quickly pulls out his taser and shoots him before he even gets out the door. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to see Joel falling to the ground (because man, that would’ve been hilarious to see IRL). After the movie, I head home, jump on my computer, and play some Minecraft. It’s a weird version of Minecraft in that it’s played from a top-down perspective, making it kinda hard to see what you’re actually building. I somehow discover a secret passageway that leads under this nearby lake, but when I travel down it, I get stopped by this massive scorpion. I’m now fighting it in first person, but I realize all my weapons are gone. The scorpion has pretty strong armor too, so it’s gonna be impossible to fight him in this state. Still, I give it my best shot. I run around him, dodging his tail strikes. He charges towards me, knocking me down, though I do manage to land a few punches on my way down. It doesn’t hurt, obviously, since it’s just a video game, though everything else about the experience feels pretty realistic. After a trading a few more blows, I’m down to one health, while the scorpion has barely taken a scratch. Oh well, it’s not like I had anything valuable in my inventory, guess I’ll just die then. Suddenly, a glowing arrow shoots from the entrance of the passageway, one-hit killing the scorpion. I look in the direction the arrow came from, and see this guy with jet black hair and a leather jacket standing at the entrance, bow extended toward the monster. I go to thank my mysterious savior, but he just raises his nose at me. “Ha, how could you even come into a level 12 cave without any weapons? Maybe you should go back and do the tutorial levels, you noob!” The world around us fades out before there’s a bright flash of light. Fair warning, the next part reads like a novel. It was a pretty long, detailed section of the dream. I don’t remember all the dialogue that occurred, but I do remember most of the emotional connotation of it, so I based the dialogue on that. I’m now in this huge wooden cabin, getting out of this strange white capsule on a metal track. As I get up, I have a rush of false memories in my head that give me a context of what’s going on. I don’t really know how I know these facts, I just kinda suddenly know them. I’m somehow 50 years in the future - I have no clue how I got here, but I’m here. Much like in the book “Ready Player One” by Ernest Cline, the world thrives entirely off of virtual reality. People basically live their entire lives in their personal VR capsule. The cabin I’m in is an “access point”, a place where people can bring their capsules and connect directly to the “hub”, the worldwide center of VR activity. The tracks on which my capsule was positioned were used to physically take users to the hub, and during the journey, the capsules would begin the boot-up process before finally being connected at their destination. Speaking of capsules, mine wasn’t the best. I seem to recall getting one of the cheaper ones - it was enough to successfully connect to the hub, but it wasn’t meant for the incredibly realistic experiences boasted by VR companies. The screen in the eyepiece wasn’t that high of a resolution, and haptic feedback - the equipment that simulated a sense of touch - was pretty terrible. Everything you touched, from a hard granite countertop to the soft fur of a kitten, registered as the same stiff poke - there was no variance on how hard it poked you, you just knew you had touched something because you were poked. But I was fine with it, I couldn’t really afford much more than that. And of course, my “mysterious savior” was Johnny Blade. Of course, that wasn’t his real name, but he had used that username to climb the e-sports ranks, so it was what everyone knew him as. Because of his gaming success, he had a ton of sponsorships from all the major e-sports advertising companies, and was on the cover of just about everything. He was a pretty big celebrity. Unfortunately, he was also a pretty big douchebag too. His hair color - which was reflected in all of his video game avatars - was an obnoxiously dyed shade of black that apparently made some sort of fashion statement. That, tied with his signature leather jacket, made him look like a mix between a 1950’s greaser and Biff Tannen from Back to the Future - with just about the same attitude. Lucky for me, he exited his game of Minecraft shortly after I left, and just so happened to exit to the same access point as me, conveniently on the track next to my capsule. “Well, the least you could do is thank me. I saved your precious level 1 armor,” he sarcastically remarks. “We all know you must have spent a long time on acquiring it, so I didn’t want you to have wasted your life. Lord knows you don’t have much of life to waste.” “Oh, rest assured, if I had half as many sponsors that you have kissing all over your disgusting feet, I could’ve just bought all the armor in the shop. And I guarantee I wouldn’t be half the snob you are about it, either.” “Jealous, much? Maybe if you spent as much time practicing as you do whining, you might be able to make a name for yourself. Anyway, I don’t have time for this. Network interviews, photo shoots, you know how it is… Oh wait, no you don’t. Adios, peasant!” Oh man, I want to slap him so bad. I don’t care if he has lawyers at his beck and call, someone needs to teach him a lesson. I walk back over to my capsule, ready to go back into the hub, when I spot Johnny’s capsule still on the track, unlocked and open. I hesitate for a moment before walking over to inspect it. As to be expected, his capsule was state-of-the-art. Stater-of-the-art than state-of-the-art, in fact, as his sponsors often gave him plenty of new equipment prototypes months before they hit the markets. Well, if someone needs to teach him a lesson, I think I just found my curriculum. I size myself up - we have pretty similar builds, even though I’m about an inch shorter than him. I lay down in the body-shaped contours of the capsule. It’s a tad snug, but it’ll work. I sit up to press the launch button on the side of the track. I always thought that was kind of a design flaw - that you or someone else had to press the start button on the track outside the capsule before it would launch. I guess I never had that problem on my capsule, since the door closed pretty slowly on it anyway, giving me plenty of time to position myself correctly. Unfortunately, the capsule door shuts almost immediately once I press the button, shoving me into it in a weird, squatted position. My head didn’t even make it to the head portion of the machine. This is bad. For one, I’m quickly feeling uncomfortable, as the cramped position I’m in is putting a ton of pressure on my arms and neck, so I don’t know how long I can stay stuck like this. Second, I can feel that the capsule has already launched down the track, meaning in a few seconds I will be connected to the hub. Normally that wouldn’t be a problem, but in my current position, I have no way to get to the controls to close the connection, return to the access point, and exit the capsule. Meaning I will most likely be stuck there a very long time, with no way to escape. I manage to tilt my head upwards towards the head hole, and push upwards with my legs until I can kind of wiggle my way upwards. Thanks to the anatomy of the human body, and the human-body-conforming shape of the capsule, I can’t squeeze my head through the neck hole. I can barely look up through the hole and see the boot-up screen on the display. It’s fairly simple - a plain black screen with some green text in the top left corner, probably to show version info and all that. I also manage to see some kind of emergency-release latch in the neck area. Hoping that the latch will help enlarge the neck hole so I can slide my way up, I pull it. The capsule door flings open, and I’m quickly thrown out of the machine. I quickly realize what’s happening, and try to grab onto the door as I’m flying out. My hand just barely scrapes the edge of the door, but I ultimately miss and watch as the empty capsule continues rolling down the track out of view. I take a moment to assess the gravity of the situation. Or rather, the lack of gravity, because I soon notice that I’m just floating, almost like I’m helplessly drifting through space. The track that the capsule was on simply fades away, and I’m left floating in a sea of black, with nothing around me. Until I notice up in the sky, off in the distance, floating green text. The boot-up screen? But, I’m not in the capsule. And even if I was, I shouldn’t be able to see this, I’d still be cramped in the bottom half with the display out of sight. Yet here I was, floating in a surreal sea of nothingness. I pondered this until a bright flash of light brought me back to my senses. I’m now riding a motorcycle down this street in a suburban neighborhood. Behind me is a cop car with its lights on behind me. Oh great, they found out I stole Johnny’s capsule, and now they’re taking me in. I contemplate running, but I decide to play it cool, it could just be whatever game Johnny was playing last (besides Minecraft, I guess). It’s probably best to just wait it out and see what happens. I pull over to the side of the road, and the cop pulls up behind me. He exits the car and walks over to me. “Johnny Blade?” I stay silent. I don't want to say anything that might give me away. “Your presence has been requested. Follow me.” He gets back in his car and pulls ahead. I follow behind him for a bit, until we pull into a driveway in front of this red and white dojo, which seems somewhat out of place in a suburban town. The cop gets out and motions me towards the front door. I dismount my motorcycle and walk up the stairs of the porch, and slowly open the door. The inside is a bit of a pig sty. The carpets are covered in cigarette burns and assorted stains, some of which look to be of questionable origin. I walk into a room to the right, where there’s a group of men wearing white suits and sunglasses. The leader of the group, who looks slightly like Mark Wahlberg with a beard, laughs and motions to his cohorts, who quickly point their weapons at me. “Well well well, Johnny Blade.” Why does everyone keep calling me that? “I haven’t seen or heard from you in years. Didn’t think you had the nerve to show your face around here.” He stands up and walks slowly towards me. “Did you finally decide to hold up your end of the deal? Or did you already forget?” Holy crap, what did Johnny get himself into? I have to keep up the charade, since everyone seems to think I’m the real Johnny Blade, just because I stole his VR capsule. But I have no clue what he’s talking about. I should probably play it safe, just say something non-threatening to disarm the situa- “Well it was kind of hard to remember it in the first place, considering all the bull crap you were spewing last time I was here.” Of course. Let me just piss of the first guy I meet here, with all his friends ready to blast holes in me with one innocent flick of a finger. I rest assured in the fact that I’m still in the VR capsule, so any “pain” will be nothing more than a few shocks or prods to my chest from the haptic feedback. The guy laughs again, and motions to the guy next to him, who pulls his trigger, firing a paintball into my ear. Paint splatters all over the side of my face, and my ear starts ringing from the impact. I wince in pain - that actually did hurt quite a bit. “That was a warning shot. Kind of a warm up for my men. Rest assured the next bullet will be very much real.” I reach up to wipe the paint off the side of my face, when a very scary thought crosses my mind. See, VR capsules, no matter how advanced, don’t have haptic feedback around the ears or face. This is both a safety measure (you don’t want people poking each others’ eyes out in VR) and a technical limitation of the equipment (there’s too much stuff like visual/audio/olfactory equipment and oxygen tubes in the way for there to be any haptic equipment there). Yet I definitely felt that paintball hit and splatter, I definitely feel the paint running down my face, and my ear is definitely ringing. There’s no way to simulate that. This has to be real. But wait, what about Johnny Blade? They all called me Johnny Blade. I definitely don’t look like Johnny Blade; how could anyone make that mistake? Plus the whole boot-up screen. This couldn’t be real - I’m still in the machine. Aren’t I?... aren’t I? I am saved from answering this question, as I soon wake up.
08.01.2016The Train-Like Restaurant & Fabricated Memories (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID So, I’m going inside a restaurant with a female relative, and the environment itself is akin to a Denny’s. The flooring consists of a bland, dark green carpet with some blotches in it, and the walls are dark brown, with no attempts at hiding the creases of the planks utilized to sustain the composition. The lighting is surprisingly bright, and most of the area seems to be dark, and I noticed the light seems to conform to wherever our current proximity is. I’m not sure what I’m wearing, but I’m getting flashes that I’m probably wearing a sky blue dress shirt with some black dress pants, and brown shoes; maybe even a Khaki/vanilla colored dress shirt with similar colored dress pants as well. So, as we’re going inside, there’s a Hispanic waitress that asks us how many people, and I recall putting my hands up for “two,” but noticed it was putting up for 3, but the waitress inferred that it was for two instead. I quickly put my right hand down, and tried to shrug off the awkward situation. The waitress is wearing a black shirt, pants, and an apron as well. She looks like she’s in her mid-40s, a bundled up hairstyle-like a ponytail that’s scattered about at the ends, and has some makeup that makes her visage a little bulkier, but not in terms of fat. There was something attractive about it, but I can’t fathom precisely why. She has the menu on her left hand, and it’s a vanilla sheet of paper that’s protected by a laminate with some brown leather borders. She’s waving it left and right, and a few nuances of going forward and backward all while making sure it doesn’t touch her thighs. She was quite an elaborate way of walking with swaying her hips side to side, and I’m tempted to look at her rear because she’s moving like a pendulum. She turns her head to the side, and I feel she noticed, and she quickly turned back to the front to continue guiding us where to go. Just when she thought she would find a table for us, I glanced over to my right of a Non-Smoking section stated for verbatim. As she’s preparing to make a complete 180 to eventually ask us if this table will be alright, I asked her if we can go into the non-smoking section. Before I bother listening to her retort, I noticed the table we would’ve sat around had some random dream characters that were already preparing themselves to eat, which was really awkward for the waitress to suggest. She eventually guides us through the non-smoking area, and this environment is starting to feel like some grandiose train with several layers going laterally for some reason due to the how every time we go through a door, it’s like going through the train’s door and mini-hallways before going to the next section. There was this old school vibe behind the train, but it was fairly maintained in appearance. We eventually reach to the other end, and noticed that there’s some tables perpendicularly placed in front of us. They’re covered by white sheets, and the base and legs consist of a caramel brown color with a subtle nuance of yellow to it. There’s some people sitting to the right in front of us, and one that comes to mind is a certain co-worker of mine, but I’m not interested in going into detail on that. So, we’re sitting down, and we finally prepare for what to eat. I remember there were other dream characters that were talking and asking people certain questions like their childhood, etc. I think I pitched in at some point, and started having flashes fabricated out of nowhere. It’s like each flash was a pocket dimension for me to experience those moments that I never really experienced before. These little conduits were transient, but somehow gave me the implication that I had these experiences before, even though I explicitly can say with confidence that these were merely fabricated. Some things that came to mind entailed me running around this tropical beach area where there are some fancy houses around; like some large backyard where there’s this gregarious hangout, and everyone has a spirited disposition. I see remnants of my visage as a child, and me moving around with joy, and then said entity twirling around to face towards me smiling, and then dissipating. I go back into being aware of the current environment with the restaurant section, and things start fading out from there. _________________________ 08.01.2016Eating Tacos with Shane West & Asian Lady (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I’m walk through more hallways that vibe off the vibe that I’m in some train, but still feel a bit too large for the notion. Things are darker than the previous dream, and the orange lighting is the dominate feature that bleeds into the brown-colored theme of the walls, furniture, and cabinets as well. There’s this surreal vibe I’m picking off from the dream, and based on my emotions at the time, it seemed that I’m going through a resting period from some kind of conflict, or objective that was chaotic, I think. Whatever the case, I move forward to an area that looks like a mini-bar, and it seems that it’s already at its closing period, and I noticed an Asian female is all by herself sitting down preparing to munch down on some late night food. She has this waitress outfit where the black dress on top of the white dress shirt she’s wearing is up to her upper thighs for eye candy. She’s really cute, and the puffy white shoulder compartments augments this appearance. She seems to be pretty comfortable with me being around, even though she’s not paying too much attention to me. I noticed that Shane West is also preparing to sit next to her, and asked her while pointing at some Tacos, “Are you going to eat that?” She makes the “No” gesture, and he proceeds to sit down. I go forward, and go around the side and asked her if I can eat some as well. She moves around to sit next to the middle of me and Shane West, and she continues eating. I sit down, and I take that as a “yes,” and proceeded to take one of the tacos. The Taco itself was an absolute guilt trip; ooey-gooey cheese that’s dripping on the sides very slowly. I can see the viscosity glaring at me along with the warm ground beef, and the vegetable toppings with lettuce, tomatoes, and such drenched on the top. I knew it was a dream, and it’s not like I’m cheating on a diet, or anything. I take one long bite where I get my teeth into the taco, and moved my tongue around as if I was trying to caress it, and took a long series of chews to absorb the bulkiness of it all. I can feel the cheesy juices going into my throat, and I let out those “Hmm..Hmm..” sounds. I told her that this is really good, and started to munch them down one by one. I felt a slight disturbance in my stomach, but I didn’t care. The tacos were awesome, but I found the pairing with Shane West, the Asian lady, and me was odd.
I took 50 mg of Melatonin last night (again) and I just had the most amazing dream ever and it wasn't a sex dream this time. I was in school again, this time in computer class and we had this sub teacher who was really mean, stuck up etc. I get myself in trouble by being a smart ass - she said something to some other student and I whispered under my breath telling her to suck my dick. She comes over and sticks her head as close to mine and yells, WHAT DID YOU SAY? I stood up and told her I didn't say Sh*t, and she gets close to me and repeats herself and I said, Lady back off me and she gets closer and I say it again and she gets closer still so I push her away from me and she comes at me and pushes me up against the wall with her hands in fists grabbing my shirt. I punched her in the face and she went down, she told me to go to the office and that she was going to call the police. I went to the door and turned back and the whole class stood up and started cheering for me and clapping and about half the class left with me to support me and say she put her hands on me first/I was defending myself. This time in my dream it was my actual high school. For some reason the office was in the library so I sat down with most of my friends and we went in one by one to tell the story, at this point I forced myself to wake up because I wanted to write this down so I guess that really means I am aware I am dreaming. I wrote it down and then copied it over to 3 of my online diaries and this site here.
I don't know why, I'm lucid since first moment. I did a WBTB (without the back to bed part, I woke up and stayed awake in my bed) and attempted an SSILD. I'm lucid since the first time. I'm at the same square as in the last DJ entry, except that this time there is grass on the floor, with beautiful paths made of cobblestone. Kids are playing, some of them are running, some of them just playing with some toy cars on the grass. There are some benches around this park-square, kids' parents are sitting on those. As in nearly all of my dreams, it is dawn time. Really beautiful sunrays are irradiated from the sky. I decide to go for a walk - Whoa, this is really vivid and beautiful, the grass, the paths... I decide to levitate a bit, instead of walking I go levitating to another "patch" of grass, like those fairies in the films. I crouch on this grass and try to stabilize, I rub my palms and then I start touching the grass, which really wasn't grass, but really small round leafs of some herb, the touch is kinda "cold" like some dew , I also smell it, smells like grass (what a coincidence!). I think: - With this I should feel more my dream body and not my waking one. Wait, my waking one, I shouldn't have said that. My dream starts to fade away. I'm in the void now. - Quick, I got to think about something before I leave the dream. I start feeling my body. - This is it I wake up. Well, at least the dream was longer than the other ones and I could stabilize, at least for a while.
I had a short lucid this morning after accidentally falling asleep after my alarm. Still, it was long enough to knock out 2 more TOTMs. After the WILD transition, I am in a Village Inn restaurant (conveniently, where I ate last night). I make sure to RC and stabilize, because the whole dream is kind of fading in and out. For some reason I feel like flipping the table I was seated at, as some sort of RC or something. I honestly don't know what I was thinking. Maybe I was just trying to get some sort of reaction out of my DCs. I recall the TOTMs that I haven't done yet, and remember the drinking/getting high one. I walk back to the kitchen and open the door to this refrigerator, to find one convenient beer sitting on the bottom shelf. I twist off the top, and as I take my first sip, I immediately lose my balance and fall over. Man, I'm such a lightweight. I try to get up but keep falling over, until I somehow fall face-first into this small hole in the concrete. It's not very deep, so my body's still like half-way out of it. I take a moment to restabilize, since the dream is still pretty shaky. While I'm at it, I decide to try my hand at getting high. I imagine a blunt between my fingers, and inhale deeply. It takes a couple tries, but I eventually am able to make a huge puff of smoke when I exhale. I start to feel a bit lightheaded, but the dream is pretty stable now, so I crawl out of the hole. I find myself in a ditch beside one of the sidewalks at my college. There's some kind of electric wheelchair race going on down the sidewalk. But everything seems to be going in slow motion, most likely because I'm high. My vision is really distorted too, almost like tunnel vision. I look down at my hands, and they seem really inflated, kinda like rubber gloves when you blow them up. It all seems, well, like a dream, which makes a lot of sense.* I shake off the high and everything returns to normal. I think of the next TOTM, which to change gravity for a DC. I watch the people on electric wheelchairs race past me, so I decide to try it on them. I focus on one of them, and try to make him lift off towards the sky. On my second try, I finally succeed, and he and his wheelchair start flying upwards. I stop exerting my energy, and he falls back to the ground. He doesn't really react much, he just quickly gets back on his wheelchair and rejoins the race, like a very determined computer-controlled character in a racing game. I remember the last task is to enter the void, but I don't really feel prepared for that, with the lack of stability my dream has already had up to this point. Instead, I go flying off towards the finish line of the race, and see several of my friends walking towards this huge baseball stadium. They're carrying a ladder over to the stadium so they can take some of the decorative tiles off the outside of the building. I have no clue what they need them for, but just to show them how it's done, I fly up to the tiles and pull off a few for myself. I notice the dream starting to destabilize, but since I don't really have anything else planned for the lucid (and it was an accident that I fell asleep anyway), I just let it destabilize and wake up. *In the words of Dan from Game Grumps, "Every time you talk about the effects of marijuana, it drives home 50 times over how you've never smoked weed once in your life..."
Low lucidity dream. I'm on my bed, in the dark, feeling heavy and relaxed. I start to get a rocking sensation, left to right, and I push my dream body out. I fall off the bed and use it to get back up and find the window. I get out and walk a little alog the wall into my vision come in and I can the the front garden, sunny and quiet. There is no sound but the wind, but I still feel uterly at ease, relaxed and almost floaty. I exent my hand out of my field of vision and catch the hand of Eli, pulling him to me. He's wearing a faded white sleveless Tshirt that show all the freckles on his shoulders and arms, a dark jeans and leather boots. I snuggle against him and he smiles before asking me "What about your silvery man?" and of course my answer is "You first." I start to run out the garden, pulling him with me. I lost lucidity pretty much right after that, but according to Eli we didn't leave the road in front of my house and the dream didn't go one a lot.
Hey hey long time no see. I have been out of practice with my LDing for sometime but I got a very very low level one recently so figured I'd type some details. The dream was cool, I was running through quite a maze from docks by an ocean. they went for twist and turns all over the place. must have gone for miles. At some point i was laying down on a dock and there was this orca anthropomorphic person laying there looking at me. Then I realized I was in a dream, and the orca person began trying to eat me alive, and I tried to help it accomplish that goal, but I couldn't fit. So we just started doing other stuff. I was lucid, but barely. Kept on the edge of losing it. Thats really about all I can remember. I think, dont know for sure, that I had one other low level one before this and forgot to record it. Until I remember for sure though I'm not going to count the other one.
So it’s been a long time since I’ve typed up any of my dreams on here. And it’s 2016 now, which I guess means it’s resolution time as well. So in addition to striving for 100 lucids this year (which I managed to accomplish last year ), I’m also going to strive to type out every single one of my 100 lucids. And since I had two good ones last night, there’s no better time to start than right now. I’m in an episode of the Office, where I’ve just been hired by Dunder-Mifflin. There’s a conflict over where my new desk should go, since it’s currently stashed away in the corner with the rest of the storage supplies. While everyone else is arguing, I walk over and search the storage area and find a neat flute/ocarina thing. It’s even kinda Legend of Zelda themed, with the sound holes on it shaped like the Triforce. However, instead of being rounded in shape, it’s more straight, like a very wide recorder or flute. I’m told it’s a beat-box ocarina, specifically made so you can beatbox while playing it. I try it out, and the song I make sounds pretty cool, but because of the weird shape of the mouth piece, I pretty much flood it with spit. I wake up here, much before my actual WBTB alarm is set to go off. I go back to sleep, but I don’t recall any dreams before my alarm goes off. I get up for a bit, and then try to go back to sleep, which, much to my dismay, takes quite some time. Fortunately, the WBTB works and I transition straight into a dream. I’m standing in the backyard of my old childhood house. I stabilize, and am suddenly amazed at how vivid everything is. I try to think of what to do, and for some reason I decide to just try to fly up as quickly as I can. I squat down a bit, and then launch myself up at a pretty impressive speed… straight into a cloud. I can’t see anything above or below me, it’s just a huge fog, so the dream quickly destabilizes. I’m not sure if I really woke up or just had a FA, but I transitioned into a new non-lucid dream. I’m now in this weird game about alien abduction. I have to keep these cats in the bottom of this Egyptian pyramid from being abducted by these small UFOs that were coming to take them (if you’ve ever played the UFO mission in Majora’s Mask, it’s kinda like that). It’s difficult, but on my third try I manage to pull it off. I then spend some time playing with the remaining cats in this strange little area in the basement. I wake up again, write down this dream, and then transition back into another dream. I’m now in my old childhood bedroom, which is now set up like my current dorm room. My two roommates and I are all in bed, and one of my roommate’s friends is lying in a sleeping bag on the floor. The roommate and the friend have some kind of argument and the friend storms out. I realize this is weird, but I’m still only kind of half-lucid. I go to get out of bed, only to feel some weird crawling on my arms and back. I turn the light on to find these creepy bugs all over my bed. They’re each about the size of a penny, and they’re shaped kinda like stinkbugs, but with all different colors. I try swatting them off of me, but they keep flying back on me, trying to burrow into my pants. I run over to the computer and do a quick search to find out how to get rid of them. I’m too preoccupied to type, so I just voice search it. “Hey Siri, search for ‘small, colored bugs that swarm your bed and itch like crazy!’” Soon after I get a response. “The African Dung Beetle. Prefers dark places, like your buttcrack.” I soon remember that this is just a dream, so I quickly stabilize, which makes the bugs disappear, or at least not itch anymore. I try to think of a better thing to do than flying like last time, so I decide on some TOTMs. I start with the easiest - find a book and read its title. I walk over to the bookshelf, where all my toys were stored as a kid. I finally find a book and pull it out. It’s a fairly big book, about 300 pages, and on the cover in purple text is the title: Ensuring Your Wedding Cake is Adequately Sized and Appropriately Proportioned for Maximum Portability (Because He's Going to be Taking It Home With Him) I find this incredibly hilarious, so I lose control of the dream, and it transitions to a new scene. I’m now on this weird island, heading to go crash some kind of wedding. I remember that I’m dreaming, so I try to think of the next task to complete. I decide to summon Sensei, both to fulfill the TOTM and to get some help with dream control. I tell myself he’s somewhere at this wedding reception. My vision zeroes in on this one tall, stocky blonde guy (which I know for a fact isn’t what Sensei looks like IRL, but whatever), so I walk over to him. “Hey Sensei.” He laughs. “No one’s called me that out loud in a long time.” “So I still need help with firebending. I just can’t get it down consistently.” “Well, show me how you’ve done it.” I do my normal motion, which is kind of a forward thrust of my wrist, like Spiderman launching a web. Much like usual, nothing happens, even after two or three tries. “Ah, I think I see your problem. It's not so much a thrusting motion as it is a throwing one… Have you ever tried throwing playing cards?” He hands me a deck of cards, and sets up a few bottles on a table near us. He then shouts “Go!”, and starts throwing the cards like ninja stars at the bottles. Not to be left behind, I start throwing them as well. After a few throws, I get the hang of it and quickly pick up speed. I exhaust the deck and slam the empty box on the table. Sensei smiles and tosses his last few cards at me. “Now try it.” I back up a few steps and try the card-throwing motion, and manage to successfully create a large fireball. “Better,” he says. He then snaps his fingers, and the cards that are scattered all over the table and the floor start floating and go back into their boxes, kinda like the dishes in that one scene of The Sorcerer's Apprentice. “Man, how do you get that good at dream control?” “Lots of practice.” I reach over and take a slice of cake from the table next to me, and I'm about to stick it in my mouth, but I wake up.
I woke up from a dream and noticed I had a steak knife in my hand. I figured that's what incubated my previous dream about an infomercial for a steak knife sharpener. I remembered my intention to do an RC when I wake up. I did a nose plug and could breathe. I looked around and saw that my room was in a different layout. I got up and jumped into a void. From the blackness, I tried to imagine the ocean in order to create one. Instead, I ended up in another room. I tried again and got the same result. I called for a book and reached out to the side to be handed one. It was a somewhat hefty hardback book which had the title "If you're trying to figure out the science of what you're trying to do, slow down. I noticed I had lost my balance and was spinning all over the place. Undeterred, I tried to read the book but it was all too blurry and confusing. I woke up.

An elderly woman is forcing me and some other people to stand on a lake known to be dangerous. She appeared to despise anyone who attempted to ask her for help. She seem to be able to signal the dangerous monster beneath the lake with hand gestures. However instead of the monster below attacking us it quickly drag her from the wooden chair she was sitting in to the bottom of the lake. My mother who is also here, ask me if I wanted anything from her. I said no as it would be no use. We could all hear her screams from the ocean depths. I didn't get to see what the creature look like nor did I understood why everything can float without sinking in this lake. The dream transition to a different scene. I find myself in father room. As I get up and walk in to the livng room, I realize I am dreaming. I see the living room bathroom door is open with no one inside. My eyes look up upstairs to see the light on and the sound of someone closing a door. I went in to father room again and continue to think about Lding.
Not sure at what time I went to bed. I think it was a bit past midnight. I woke up around perhaps 5 or 6 and went to the toilet. Afterwards I had issues falling asleep again. The lucids were all after my wake up moment. Women... It's dusk. I'm sitting in the back of my mom's car, on the left. My brother is sitting in the passenger's seat and my mom is behind the wheel. She's feeling tired and doses off a few times. Eventually she misses a curve in the road to the right and instead goes straight ahead. I feel like we're airborne for just a moment, passing over a ditch and land into a meadow. I don't recall it feeling violent or scary at all. There was a box where you'd normally have a console, though just a bit further to the back. I managed to exercise some control over the car by using it. Once we're in the meadow I get out. There's a police car parked here as well. I move towards it and notice that the two officers inside are sleeping. They wake up and join me outside. My mom starts walking over as well. I start explaining the situation to them and they tell me to walk along. We're kinda trying to diagnose my mom. I end up walking with the cops while holding a black granny bicycle. We end up at two houses placed in an L shape. The police want to raid the one on the left, but they're missing a flashlight. My mom walks over again, talking. The police need silence so that they won't lose the element of surprise. They decide to sneak into the building on the right, to get a flashlight over there for their raid on the building on the left. On their way out they are nearly caught, but they've managed. There are now two women, Nikki and Eva Mendez. Eva had something to do with sneaking the cops into the building on the right and is slightly upset by the fact that it was a close call. I'm standing somewhere with Nikki now, somewhere inside. We're in a sort of relationship and she made some promises, something along the lines of finding me a girlfriend just like her before she leaves. We're both undressed. I go to the toilet around the corner to pee. The force of me peeing makes it splash all the way up until my bare chest. I consider asking Nikki to arrange things for me with Eva. They're the same in the sense that they're both called Eva. I know that it's gonna upset Nikki a bit, but I know she won't be leaving and she should've told me. Ass The brother of my friend David has posted something on FB. I think it was directed at me. It made me feel like the guy is a total ass, despite having never met him. Man, I'm pretty certain that David will bring his brother when he's coming over, but I sure as hell hope he doesn't. Shy in class I'm sitting in class, in a row in the back. The class is pretty much filled, though I remember only 1 classmate specifically. The teacher had been explaining something to us and asks me a question. It requires a long answer. I know that this is a lucid, but I don't wanna do it. I don't wanna mess up either, just in case this isn't a lucid. I think I might've pushed a finger through the desk at this point to be certain. Red scorpion I'm lying in my bed, having just 'woken up'. There's a small, red scorpion on the ceiling, quite close to me considering that I have a highrise bed. I panick a bit and make an effort to slap it away. I'm not sure if I got it. Now my ass is itching. No! Why now? Is it the scorpion?! Why am I so afraid of the scorpion anyway? It's all just a dream. I think I did something more after this, but I can't recall what. Telekinesis! Or not. It's daytime. I'm walking around some shopping streets. It's got a little bit of a cold season vibe if I remember correctly. There are quite some people about and I sort of evade a few streetsales people, or people who are collecting for charity or something alike. I don't really feel like talking to them. Two metres further I spot two people selling newspapers though. I spot them by the colour of their jackets, which was either red or white. One of them is a former colleague. They are facing away from me. I walk up to the guy on the right, the former colleague. I congratulate him on having been awarded the prize for best newspaper salesman. We chat a bit and he offers me a free newspaper sample. I pass on the opportunity, recognising it as a sales tactic. I move on. I'm walking around in a semi run-down building. I walk back and forth along the same route a few times. I can't recall what's in the section which is still in good condition. I remember I said bye to someone over there though, perhaps my former colleague. In the section that's in mediocre quality is my optician. A blonde, former classmate I had a crush on is there as well. She walks away to a different area. I don't really feel like going to my optician, so I walk the other way again. I make sure not to pass the person I just said bye to again, cause that's just awkward. I walk to a part where walls are already crumbling. I clearly recall passing a big, dark green sign with golden letters that was only half intact. Guessing from the letters that were still there, it used to say Bibliotheekzaal [library room in Dutch]. I wonder what it is about this night that makes me become lucid so often. It probably has to do with the time of day. I'm having this thought as if I didn't just transition from non-lucid to lucid, but was in the same state all along. I walk a bit further and pass another crumbled wall, with a wooden plank put up against it. I'm standing in front of a door opening. The dark green door itself is swung to my side and to the left. The girl is there again. I decide not to pay attention to her. Instead I want to focus on the dream. I consider pushing my hand through the plank up against the wall, but it's not positioned very solidly. I might just end up pushing it away. Instead I decide to push my right hand through the door on my left. My fingertop rests for just a fraction of a second on the surface and then moves in. Sweet. I start thinking about how to describe this. It's like sticking your hand into a deep puddle of mud. Somewhere after passing my elbow the sensation becomes indescribable. I recall thinking exactly that: I have no clue how to describe this. I then pull out. There's a small wooden plank or a brick laying in front of me on a crumbled wall. I remember my lucid challenge with werty52. First person to perform telekinesis wins. My turn to finally win a bet! I aim both my hands at the plank/brick and attempt to make it levitate. I don't have full 100% confidence in it. There's some doubt in my mind that the object might remain there due to being cemented stuck. My vision starts to blur. I think the object is levitating, but I can't tell with 100% certainty. Fuck, come on! I try to stabilise again. I try to shout 'stabilise', but it's more like a soft shout, where you pretend to shout while actually whispering. I wonder if this is coming through to the real world. I shout 'stabilise' a few more times, but now in Dutch. In hindsight I was just doing it in the hope of it having an effect, rather than fully believing in the effect.

#482 - DEILD - 4:11AM I have a false awakening where there is some sort of party going on in my bedroom with the guys from work. There's some issue with the Playstation and I have to sort it out. I am a little annoyed they were being so loud and woke me up but I manage to go back to sleep. I wake slightly and move just a bit to get more comfortable and focus on DEILD. There are some very mild vibrations and I get too caught up in focusing on that causing my lucidity to dip a bit.As I wait, my wife rolls over closer and starts making out with me. I'm really enjoying this and wonder if she's woke up wanting to do it or if I am really just dreaming. Either way I don't care and just enjoy the moment. She starts talking about wanting sex and some other things that surprise me a little. I think this is probably a dream and while I ponder that I actually hear her begin to snore. I realize she can't possibly be making out with me and snoring at the same time and my full lucidity returns. Unfortunately my wife begins to toss and turn a bit and it totally wakes me up. After she settles down, I try to DEILD again only to fail. I am in the living room painting a mural on the wall. I am working painting a man and I keep having trouble with the white beard. I manage to get it to look right, but when I look away to reload my brush, the different color have blended together too much. I step back to the whole picture and I notice different sections that don't go. The man is too small and standing in trees and on the other end someone has painted furniture. I give up and tell myself I'll have to just paint over the whole and start fresh later. I decide to go back to bed for now and when I lay down thinking about all of this, I realize it's a dream. It's really dark now and my wife is talking a bunch of nonsense. It's so distracting that I can't even think. I shout, "SHUT UP!" Shocked at my out burst I wait for her to retaliate, but she is now silent. I chuckle a bit and wonder if I said that in my sleep because it sounded so loud and clear. I shout out again wondering if maybe I really am awake. I do a nose plug and blow through so I get up, but it all feels to real. I fall back into bed and then decide to just go for it. I get up and move out of the bed room in the total darkness. I shout, "HEY DREAM!" and then fall into an abyss. I enjoy the sensation of falling for a few seconds and then hit the floor. I realize I am back in the bedroom. It's still too dark, but I can see that much. I recall the make out session from earlier and find my wife. I'll spare the details, but I decided to have raunchy sex with my wife. It's a pretty lengthy segment for a lucid dream. Some how we move around the room this is all happening and end up in the bathroom. I notice the woman has shifted from looking like my wife to looking like some other woman. I really just want my wife, but realize this is the nature of dreams. I stand up in the bathroom and notice is nearly totally dark again. I recall a trick I was told about and blind summon a light from my pocket. I get some light when I flick it, but see some hideous monster with giant eyes looking at me. I put away the lighter and blindly punch at the creature as I move back into the bedroom. I quickly decide to forget I saw that and just wondering into the dining room. I try light switches and even find a huge breaker box. I flip all the switches, but I still can't see. I'm starting to get annoyed now and desperately look for any light source. I notice the fridge is open a bit and light is spilling out of it. I open and study the food items but they all look oddly distorted. I go back into the dining room and see a super bright light coming from a bowl on the table. It's too bright to look at, but only dimly lights the room. I get on the floor and study the wood grain for a bit to stabilize. Now the kitchen light is all the way on so I rush to it. When I get there the room distorts and morphs and the dream fades. I find myself back in bed looking at my phone. I have a snapchat text open. It's mostly non letter characters, but there is one sentence. "Fell a distance of ooooooohhhhh". I laugh decide it's a log of what happened to me during the earlier part of my dream. I scroll down but the phone zooms into much to see it all and bar of black makes it hard to see. I notice I scrolled past the word "sex", but can't seem to find it again. I've been taking screenshots of all of this hoping that somehow it will be on my phone when I wake up, but I know deep down it wont. Too bad. Now my daughters come in the room and for some reason this is so distracting that I loose all lucidity. They have swollen sores on there legs and my wife says it has to be bed bugs bites. Somehow I doubt it, but I get up and doctor their wounds anyway. After I do that my wife gets ready to leave and says she needs to take them someplace and she will be right back. I'm confused, but just say, "Ok." Then my son wakes up and runs into the room crying for her. I say, "Oh look. Mohinder woke up." That's not even close to his actual name, but in the dream I don't even find this odd. I have to hold him so my wife can leave out the front door. It's at this point that I wake up.
Wow I've been in a bit of a slump and haven't had very many lucids due to my hectic work/life schedule that's been causing me sleep deprivation. I think it's calming down now, so I need to catch up on the DJ especially after this morning. It's not that I've been totally dry, just really slow on the LD's. I've actually had several lucid moments the past month, but they are hardly worth mentioning now. #481 - DILD - 4:00am (December 14, 2015) There is something about a dude dying his hair then the scene morphs into me standing in a street in my underwear in some suburban area. There is a man talking on the phone with me as I watch a car park on the street with it's headlights lighting up the night. The man on the phone is saying something about a Japanese ghost. I feel some fear so I go into the house I am standing in front of. The phone conversations gets really weird and I hear a third voice talking. Something feels off and I tell them about it on the phone. No one answers and I begin to wonder if I am the ghost. No, that's not it. I now realize that I am actually dreaming. I look around the house. There is an open floor plan for the living room and kitchen divided by a bar/island and dining table behind that. I wonder into the kitchen and see the back wall is huge pane glass with a sliding glass patio door. It's too dark outside but I see the interior of the house reflecting back at me. I see a man pass by and disappear into the hallway on the opposite side. Also there is Tonya, a coworker from waking life, standing there looking at me. For some reason I turn around and randomly start doing dishes as I try to think what I want to do. I notice this but don't mind since it's preventing the dream from becoming stagnant and crashing. However, doing dishes in a lucid dream is really boring. Just do something cool. I look to the opposite wall and see a huge mirror. I immediately charge over there and effortlessly phase through it into a different house. It looks like a mostly white bedroom, including the walls, carpet and bedspread. There is an acoustic guitar on a stand in the corner of the room. I pick it up and start strumming and figuring the few chords I know. The song is a beautiful Mexican classical and I just play away until I wake up.
Bed early at 8.30 or so - was feeling unwell but after laying in bed soon started feeling better and drifted off to sleep early which was good. Woke up at 3am wrote down dream and decided to do wbtb until 4am Lay on back for wild at 4 and relaxed till looked at my watch at 6am - relaxed well and had a NL - good try - went on to side at 6 knowing I have to be up at 6.45am Got lucid twice - Attempted the Bonus and accomplished one of the Advanced Tasks 🌠 I am running down a steep sandy mountainside and a boat is going by in a river just opposite - I have been challenged to make it on to the large boat as it passed my strip of land so I have to move with a Flash ⚡️⚡️⚡️and I did. The boat slowly became a car and we moved along the sea/street - as we moved I realised I am dreaming and this is my dream 🙃😀 I say to the DC " This is a dream! Lets make this boat/car fly - 🛳🚘⛴ come on lets make it fly!' The car takes off and we fly evenly into the big sky - its then that I remember about trying the Bonus task of going into the void - I announced I am going into the void and every thing went black pretty soon ...I then remembered I had to create a new place/world but things didn't exactly go to plan 😬😉 I will try again soon - Maybe after reading BlairBros during my wbtb ...anyway - I was Lucid again and running up the side of a building after changing into a wolf/fox (this happened as a very spontaneouse thought within the dream ... like a natural progression but it is something I have been incubating a bit since having a few NL about Wolves 🐕 ) and along the top of the building I looked over at the building next to me and saw a load of people walking behind a wall and looking at me in a curiouse way So .. I shouted over to them that this is a dream and gravity doesn't work the same in dreams so anything can happen ... They might even start floating up into the air ..So in just a moment some of them started loosing their grip and starting to lift up into the air their faces looking a little perplexed
