Non-Lucid Dreams
Non-dream Dream Dream 1: It is my turn to present at our departments large meeting. I am going to present a mixture of old data and new data that my boss threw together. (Once again) I didn't even look at the slides before presenting. I am doing a horrible job presenting the material. People start leaving, talking and roaming around then the meeting ends. I am off the hook for good - apparently this is the last meeting. Dream 2: J - the bartender at the bowling alley - is a gasoline salesperson. I am explaining some difficult math to her about evaporation rates of the gasoline. Dream 3: I am on a guided kayaking tour on a river with my wife. I am being an idiot - going too fast and being reckless. I start fucking with a bear and then it realizes that I have food in my backpack. It fake charges me about five times. It is very smart and I think it is talking to me. I run and hide in a bathroom and then a gift shop. The bear finds me. I realize that it is not food in my pack that the bear wants, but perhaps something I have done to the locals pissed him off. There are now two bears chasing me. I trick them somehow and get a head start back to my car. I would have made it easily but someone was with me and slowed me down. The bear catches me. Dream 4: I am in my house but there is no furniture. It looks just as it did when we first bought it and put the fresh carpet in. My cats are there. The black one is HUGE and V is whiter than usual. They are both purring like crazy.
The dream setting starts on a cliff side, the cliff is easily accessible until you get about 10 yards from the top, and my male friend and I are climbing this mountain. We are currently about 20-25 yards from the top and we are moving up towards the top slowly and methodically. We each take a different route to get to the top and we meet in the middle, however my route seemed to lead to the quickest way up and in real life I would be the one leading the group on a trip like this. However once we reach the 10 yards to get up at the end, we encounter an obstacle, the cliff ahead of us too tall and steep for us to climb up and its the only way up. I have a small pickaxe with me, one used for mountain climbing and since we are having trouble getting up this part we try to think of a way to get both of us up safely. Quickly enough I see that the cliff seems to be burnt in some manner, however it has more of the qualities of some what seems to be an old lava flow. Its just the right consistency for me to whack some holes for us to climb up. So I start beating on it with my pickaxe making a large indent in this cliff side so I could pull myself up. I struggled up as I got up but was greeted with a nice view of a highway. I thought this seems out of place for sure and I remember to help my friend up. When he gets up there he says something about "Kristoff Krane", the artist I listened to before sleeping. This made me partially lucid for a moment because of the randomness of it but it also inspired me. I was gonna freestyle. Kristoff Krane does freestyle rapping and I am a fan of anyones freestyle but I especially like him. I dont remember what I said in this freestyle but I felt like it was bad. As I finished though, I was feeling very self aware and being in the woods makes me feel as if im hunting. So I start looking around more and I see a white building and a fence. I realize and say aloud "Private Property, we gotta go." I quickly see two fences and a clear path down one side of the mountain, and we start charging down a small hillside thinking to get on the highway somehow. Well as we get down further I see that this building is built into the mountain and its wide open for some reason and we are looking into it from our position in between the two fences. My former male partner now turns into an unknown female whom I seem to be only recently acquainted with, however we share a past experience that makes me seem to be the one who is helping her. My female partner is ahead of me and without noticing has got caught in some kind of wire trap that has her feet, she is looking at the highway through the fence, when I realize I am caught in one too. I get a burst of adrenaline as I see security personnel from the building coming our way and I look at the small wires holding me. The trap is attached to the fence on the side of the building and I move the wire trap along the fence somehow unhook the trap. I am free and my partner see this. She says "GO NOW, leave me here, Ill be fine" very seriously and I know this is my only chance. For some reason I was gonna go into the building, I hadn't planned this but I seemed to just know to go there, as if my partner had told me to do so. I easily sneak past the guards because they are focused on getting the girl, and I very simply walk past people in the building, which I now am seeing is some kind of laboratory. I walk directly over to a corner of the lab that has some kind of giant machine. I quickly jumped into a part of this machine which somehow was like in the movie Tron. I was talking about this movie earlier in the day with a friend. I was aware of me traveling through into a different world of some kind and I was turned into a mechanical ball then pushed by some kind of large robot and propelled down a tunnel. I traveled down this tunnel for what seemed to be a large amount of time, but that only made me tired of traveling and since I was a ball I had no way to propel myself, hence the robot pushing me in the beginning. The tunnel seemed to be taking me somewhere but as I went on I realized gravity was pulling down on me and the tunnel up ahead was going upwards. I awoke when I didnt have enough momentum to travel further up the tunnel.
At first all I can remember is the sound of a television show, or something like it, and I was irritated because the voices, of different characters, were apparently done by two of the same people, both with annoying, high-pitched and screechy voices, or, at least, that was how I thought of it then. Then, I was signing up for a gym and was looking at the different options and programmes they were offering. They had a chart full of icons and a description next to them, telling customers that they offered tailored routines for various sports and specialities. I didn't like the idea of specialising so much and having to pay for it, but decided to choose swimming, as it seemed right. However, it turns out that this wasn't any normal gym, as it was actually a training centre that taught skills and habits, though I'm pretty sure there was a physical aspect to it, somehow. In order to make the challenges harder, you would swap your mind into one of the bodies they provided. For each speciality, they offered numerous different arenas that had difficulty levels from beginner to advanced members. I decided to try one out. I'm not sure how the transfer happened, but it seemed easy and natural. The swimming challenge area that I had chosen looked much like a typical, large swimming pool, except that there was nobody about. I looked at the body that I had been given. It was a creature about four feet tall with pink skin and a thin elephant-like trunk, and it looked pretty ugly. I might have come face-to-face with it in my real body at some point. I started thinking about the implications of body-swapping, since to have your mind transferred into a different body meant that the information was being lost from the old body, and that was possibly a form of death. I was calmed by the fact that it didn't feel that way, but I did recall an odd sensation of an ending coming when the transfer happened. Later, I decided to have a look at one of their hardest swimming areas. It was a pond surrounded by mud, the bottom filled with broken glass and detritus, the water, which was extremely cold, not really looking like water but something unidentifiably different, and all manner of other hazards around. The body that you were swapped into was weirder than the last one, and it was a transparent, featureless amber-tinted ovoid, which had no apparent means of propulsion but was able to swim around anyway. This was the second time I swapped bodies in a dream, at least as I recall.

The first dream I had was of very little importance. I don't remember much of it, literally the only piece of it I can recall was Mulder from the X-files was gay. It didn't really make sense. The second dream that was actually memorable started out with me and my sister Rose at the park. I've been chanting a reminder in my head the past few days to attempt one of the DreamViews monthly challenges where you shrink your perspective down to the size of a tiny bug and explore the world. I finally remembered to do that in this dream, but it didn't last as long as I would hope. So, back to the plot. Rose and I were walking around with my niece in a stroller, like we have actually done in the past- nothing seemed out of place. I actually visit this park frequently in real life, it's down the street from my house. We walked along the pathway going through the grass and saw a small commotion over by the Park&Recreation office building, that's also next to the main playground. We made our way over to the side of the building and saw what everyone was buzzing about. There was a strange red-orange orb of energy hovering next to the sidewalk near the street. The orb had a dark ominous larger field of energy surrounding it, but you could tell the it the dark energy was radiating out of the smaller red one. I began to analyze my setting, trying to figure out what that could possibly be. It felt dark, and foreboding. I started to become lucid just then, I'm not sure if it was out of luck or if my critical thinking during the day is just paying off. I decided then that I wanted to get rid of that energy in the park. I attempted to create a orb of white and good energy to blend with the red one and nullify it but my white energy didn't seem to last very long. This is the part where it gets interesting. I decided to take an alternate route. I wanted to harness whatever this orb was, it obviously was of great importance in my head. But I also was reminded of my goal of shrinking, so I decided that if I DID get to explore the world of a bug or bacteria, it would be a well precaution to absorb the energy of that orb before going under, incase of any potential difficulties. I calmed my mind and focused on the perspective of my size. I wanted to make focus on both making myself smaller and the things around me larger. I focused my intent and closed my eyes for a technique that I usually use to summon things in front of my vision, but instead- I opened them to be standing next a forest of grass! I made my way just through a few blades and onto the side walk. The building next to me was much, much larger than it had been before and the projectile of my vision made the dark orb look like a red sun. This new light made the orb seem even more ominous, and what happened next- I guess I should have left undone. I began to expand the orb in my mind before I attempted to absorb it. I made it grow in size about twice as large as it had been but then, it ripped appart my dream. I guess it turned into some sort of black whole, the world went dark and I saw shapes of space and matter flying into it's spot until everything went dark and the dream ended. I woke up later, excited about the incredible visuals of the explosion but... it was unfortunet that I didn't get to roam around as a tiny me a bit longer.
Finally decided to start writing down dreams on this site. I've just recently decided to attempt lucid dreaming again (I've got pages of dreams from 2011, starting again) It's my Birthday, and a troop of little kids are leading me to a room. it seems to be my old room, with small tables on the back right corner. The tables are littered with random junk, and two giant presents: one plain box, and a giant cup or something. The kids keep telling me to open them, but I'm refusing to do so. Eventually, I give in and open the cup. There's nothing in it, thanks a lot. I turn over to the second one and open it. Inside is a yellow box, and in that are Lego toys. "Aww Mom, I don't like these anymore!" One of them happens to be a knock-off toy, which used to be a part of recurring dreams a long time ago. etc etc Next, I'm in a music class for trombones (I play the trumpet btw, never played the trombone.) We all walk into a room and line up at the wall. I hold up my trombone and see what it feels like holding it up. The slide is a little sticky though. I also worry that the back of the instrument will hit the wall seeing that we're against it, but it doesn't. Eventually, the music teacher tells me to hold my trombone the right way, and I look over to my classmates. The others are standing at attention with their trombones folded up (?). I then fold up my trombone as well and follow suit. Next, I'm playing some game where a bunch of people have to fight one boss. It starts out as all of us in a cave trying to fight this guy, and I keep dying since I always go up close to him. Eventually it turns out I'm playing TF2, and if you know the game, we're playing the Saxton Hale mod I'm assuming. The map has a tower in the center with a spiral ramp going to the top and the boss always seems to be right there. Buildings surround the tower, completing the map. In the game, it seems that players can call in help, such as crit rockets coming in from the buildings directly at the tower. I start out as Scout, but when I look down at the buildings I see a whole clump of medics all jumping around. I realize that they're all setting up a plan to take down the boss by gathering lots of ubercharges. I then join them - switching to a medic, replacing my Vintage Kritzkrieg to a Quick - Fix (weapons). Eventually, we all swarm up the ramp to the top of the tower where the boss is waiting, and we all start healing ancd ubercharging this single Huntsman Sniper who is standing right beside the boss with his bow drawn. Before I know it we are all jumping around down the ramp and celebrating, I'm assuming we won the fight. Weird how I dream about old toys and games I haven't played in a while. By the way, I remembered the trombone dream while taking a shit and thinking about instruments.
This is a really vague fragment because I was tired from a little indigestion episode last night and didn't recall when I woke up. I only recalled while I was on my laptop when I realized I didn't recall my dream. It was lucky that I am quite practiced when it comes to recall salvaging so I caught the essence of it. It is something about me playing a game in my school dormitory. It is a fantasy game, and one of my quests are to stab Xerxes.
Flute Solo As a favor, I've asked a teacher to come play a piece of classical music for me. Now, another teacher and I watch as she performs an arrangement of it for solo flute. I had been worried she would refuse, so I'm glad she's doing this. She's quite good. In fact--is she somehow playing two lines of music at once? I listen closely but am unable to decide. Perhaps she's just switching between the two lines of music depending on which one has the moving notes. She reaches a climax in the music with lots of fast, leaping intervals. During the slower section after that, she interrupts the music to say to me, "Have fun practicing that." (An ensemble in which I play will be learning the same piece, soon.) A phrase later, she stops playing again to say something else, and eventually she stops playing the piece altogether, once it's clear that there are just a few slow chords remaining. The other teacher, who has been holding up a triangle in preparation to play it with the last chord, mimes teetering on the brink of playing then falling over from the waist. She's obviously saying she's disappointed that the flautist didn't properly finish the piece. After this, I think there's one more piece for us to go over. Standing Room Only People standing in the back are having a hard time seeing the presenter, so they keep shifting around in a counter-clockwise direction. Even though I'm back there with them, I think the constant shifting is more annoying than not being able to see. Cynthia, standing next to me, agrees. (Cynthia's a college housemate of mine, a year older than me.) Suddenly, the whole audience starts moving. Apparently the presenter noticed all the milling around in the back and decided to try to fix things himself. So now those people have made him interrupt his presentation. I hope they're happy. As we're moving around, I stretch my arms over my head. Realizing that my left arm is behind Cynthia's head, I decide I might as well put my arm around her shoulders. It's a bit of a cliche, but I need all the help I can get. At first, Cynthia doesn't react. Then she moves my hand from above her shoulder to under her armpit, and says, in a surprised voice, "Glieuaeiel, you've put your arm around me." Like she's known all along that we're interested in each other, and the only slight surprise is that I would choose now to make a move. Then she calls me a first-year, which is an unfair dig at the fact that I'm younger than her (since in fact I'm a third-year). She's always been one to worry about not acting her age, though, so maybe it really does bother her. Anyway, it's actually a bit uncomfortable walking around in this position. [I guess the arm-around-the-shoulder thing is best used when nobody's moving.] The presenter is saying something about wizards and what effect the concept of wizards had on our childhoods. Shortly, everyone starts moving around again, and I get separated from Cynthia. I wonder if I should try to find her again, but I decide she'll be fine on her own. I try to help out by moving some music stands, but then I realize that I'm not sure where they should go. Still holding the stands, I find a seat near the front of house left, then set the stands in front of me. Someone reaches past me to grab one of them, and I realize that the stands were supposed to be distributed so that everybody gets one. I keep one stand for myself and hand the last one to another person sitting near me. Frags: A survey about preferences in fiction genres uses the word "tranny" to mean "the protagonist of a science fiction novel." It must have been written by someone old, who didn't realize that nowadays the word is an offensive term for something entirely different.
Dream - Lucid I was in a dark cave, I think, and was with a group of other people. There was also this woman and her grown son, who was mentally retarded. We had brought both of them down for some reason; they were not conscious, at least the son wasn't. The "camera" zoomed out and showed me, and I killed the woman with a hammer-type thing. A little blood splattered onto the "camera", but not much. Apparently, me and this group of people then removed the woman's lips, and set them on top of the son's own lips. It showed us laying the pair of lips down on top of his. It looked flawless, as if they were his own lips. Then, we were watching some movie in the cave. It was like Jurassic Park, but with a weird twist. The non-dinosaur themed theme park where everyone was opened up to another dimension, one where dinosaurs still existed. It then looked like they were in a desert, and a T-Rex ran up and started to chase everyone. The graphics looked really bad, like it was an old movie; the T-Rex was moving way too fast, and it looked like he was a computer image superimposed onto the desert scene. The T-Rex then ran by this line of people, and ate the head off of one of them, flinging the body aside. Then, it was like the T-Rex was chasing us, the movie-goers. He was running towards the camera. I remember seeing a group of people sitting behind me, taking notes on the movie. I believe I was also taking notes. I know I dreamed more than this, but I slept really hard last night, and can't remember many more details than that. On the upside, I needed the sleep pretty badly; insomnia has been kicking my ass to the curb lately. I feel a lot better today than I have for awhile. Yay for sleep!

I was in a dance recital for ballet. There were five of us. After a while, one other girl and I (we were in front, and the other girls were behind us) couldn't remember what to do. She started improvising, so I just copied her. After a while, I noticed that the other girls were no longer on stage. I pointed that out to her and suggested we go backstage. We did, and I saw my friend Lizz there - at least, I thought I did. "What are you doing here?" I asked her, kind of surprised to see her because she lives a couple hours away. I can't remember her response, though, but then I realized it wasn't her. "You look a lot like one of my friends," I continued. "I mean, a lot - not just like you look similar, but you look like you could be twins or something." I kind of just walked away awkwardly after that.
09.21.2012Alyzarin's Videos (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I only remember Alyzarin giving me video links to show clips of herself. I think she was hanging around with people, I'm not sure, or maybe she was just making some YouTube video about herself._________________________09.21.2012Oil-spill Roads (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I'm waiting outside for a shuttle bus of some sort to go somewhere. I look at the roads, and there's oil covering the middle area of it.
[Monday, September 17th, 2012] (Alex stayed with me last night. We both had some lengthy discussions and came close to a fight, but we settled it rather civilly and got somewhere. We talked about chakras, spiritualism, Budhism, techniques, and philosophy. Alex got too loopy to stay awake towards the end and but we had a rather heated... physical debate before sleeping. Then we passed out talking about silly things like turtles and fireflies and my computer's lights. xD The last thing I remember is focusing on my root chakra to try and feel it. I had some interesting dreams when we finally slept, two of them. But only the last bit is coming to me right now... The first dream involved chakras- but isn't complete enough to worry about for now.) OH- WAIT NO- I was in a barren grassy landscape, and in a walled off area. There were me, and quite a few orphaned kids. In the center of the walled off plaza was grass and trees, but it was dry. Around the wall on the inside were buildings and rooms for us to live in. In one the bathroom area, there were showers and toilets and urinals and lockers. In the locker room, I remember a bully picking on all the weak kids, as if he were the only government here. He always picked on kids, but this time he was picking on real-life old friend, John, awkward, with red hair and heavy freckles. John was tired of being picked on, so he kicked the bully as hard as he possibly could in the go-nads. It looked like the most painful thing. I was like "HELL YEAH, serves you RIGHT!" though. That's as far as I remember from that dream. The second dream- Me and Alex are in a Super Arcade Warehouse. In the very center is a fantastic, extremely-sophisticated Mario-themed adventure roller-coaster tower ride. The building's lights are dimmed for a mysterious effect, but are offset by red and blue and green neon lights for excitement. The ride itself is a red steel spiral, all the way to the top. There are different levels where we have to complete a puzzle or a challenge to continue on to the next. Me and Alex sit in the center and it starts to rise to the top, going around the spiral on a track. Once we rise to a certain point, a piston pushes a red steel disc-floor to our level and machines re-arrange the challenge. The first one is a game of balance. The disc-floor will tip and turn depending on where you stand, but it takes awhile to go 'really' off-balance. On the otherside of the floor is a (!) button. We both get out and instantly, the floor is tilting towards us. We run to the otherside and slam the button down, only to have it tilt quickly to the far side. We jump quickly back to the car and it automatically starts back up again. We high-five and wait to the next level. The next one is different, we have to climb some stone spiral stairs to get to a "hall-way" like section. In the straight-section are floating blocks, hung from rope and at the end is a pole with a round platform at the bottom. We both punch the shit out of a block, she grabs a coin and I find a mushroom. I'm curious to see how they actually taste and pop it in my mouth. It tastes like cardboard, and I feel no different. Alex slides the coin into her pocket and we both grab the pole and stand on the round platform. It takes off upwards and we arrive at the next level along with the auto-piloted car. But for some reason, my completion-ism isn't as strong as usual and we decide to leave. It's getting kind of late anyways, we leap off the spiral back down to the tilt-platform and it tilts far enough and drops us down onto a bounce-pad at the bottom. We head out and I eye the games and other attractions. I notice that no one but a single man occupies the arcade. He's wearing a bartender/Gambler outfit. We reach the door and I wake up
Well, last night I my homework was amazing lacking, so I was able to go to bed around 9:30 instead of the typical 11:00. I blame my AP Chemistry for causing my late night excursions. I mean really, should it take me from 4:30 (when I get home) until 10:30 to get my homework done? Ah well, at least last night was better. Anyways... dream time! #1 - I remember this one started out and I was in this little byplane, way up in the sky. I was in the bak seat and whoever was in front was driving. Anyways, we decended in for a landing on this REALLY short runway (it was more of a stop and fall out of the sky deal). We managed to decend very nicely though and we were coming in for a smooth landing when I randomly went against gravity and floated straight up out of my seat. I looked down and realized I hadn't had my seatbelt on but I was still puzzled. Either way though, it was quite interesting although I'm not sure why I didn't see this as a good opportunity to become lucidl. I then went and explored this farm we had landed at and that is all I remember. #2 - This dream had a strange feeling to it. At first it was like I was working on my game, typing away at some code. Then I guess I ran the project or something, because then all I could see was a screen with Sonic running along. It was one of those wierd things though where it is like you are in it, but you still have control with some invisible keyboard type device. Anyways, the other wierd thing is that the game was 3d (mine is 2d in real life), it was in this level called Crisis City (which is also not in my game) and it was the little chubby Sonic from the 90's (I'm using Modern in my game). Anyways, this level was going on for a REALLY long time. I swear, it was like I was there for an hour just going through this level. It was like I could see the end the whole time but in slow motion or something. Anyways, I FINALLY made it to the end and that is all I remember. #3 - I think this dream was my failed attempt at a DEILD last night. I think i tried to re-enter dream #2 but this is what happened instead... It was still a 3d Sonic game, except now it was Modern and on some level from Sonic Colors. Anyways, now I was at my computer watching a playthrough of this game and then the guy got to this part where he would not stop complaining about some really random glitch. He basically went and found this one area where if you boosted or something at the right time one of the enemies would get stuck in the ground by a couple pixels. Even though it didn't affect the gameplay at all, and was just one of things that you would usually laugh about and move on, he just would not stop complaining about it. It was then really wierd because I kinda just hopped through the screen or whatever and somehow fixed the enemie's placement with my invisble keyboard again. By this point it was more like I was in the game again and the playthrough guy wasn't there anymore. I seem to be having these invisible keyboard dreams a lot recently. Hmm... At least i got some good dreams last night.
Non-dream Dream Dream 1: I have two options for golf holes to play in my front yard. I can hit up my street towards the houses (222 yards) but it is risky. It is easy to mishit and damage homes. The second option is to hit across the street into the park. I took a 3 iron out of my bag to play the risky hole but I chicken out. Dream 2: I am spiderman and I'm putting people into jail. There is a playboy magazine with spiderman on the cover. Dream 3: My brother and I are back at our old house. I am sleeping in my old room and he is downstairs waiting for me to go do something important.
I'm probably in the role or is reading about Max in an alternate version of the webcomic Paranatural. I'm stuck with a rugby team and have to do fitness and stuff, and later got sent to some hellish camp or whatever. Later I'm myself and my parents dropped me and my friend on some kid science museum. She went and played on those kid slider thing (extra detail: she went headfirst) and I walked around and found some kind of gym. Later I had an FA except without the awakening part. I'm walking down for breakfast and the guys upstairs in the building were trying to spill drink on me even though we're like 5 metres away. They're celebrating about winning rugby or some shit and I reminisce about nearly losing. I kicked on a rope thinking that it was a trash but actually it's some delicate experiment and the teacher asked me to put it back in place. The amount of sports in this dream is ludicrous.
I'm sitting in the passenger seat of a car. My fiance is driving, his sister is in the back seat. We're driving down a country road. Suddenly, giant flaming meteors begin smashing into the ground all around us. The sun is huge and pale yellow, its sickly rays casting a dying light over the destruction taking place before my eyes. I'm upset, crying about something. I vaguely recall saying something like, 'No! I don't want it to end like this!'. The dream went on to have many more parts to it, but the memory is much too fragmented for me to piece together. I do recall some of the key things; the sun, dirt road, fields, nighttime, a swimming pool, an inn, betrayal, a leather jacket and a shopping mall. Some of these are recurring themes in my dreams, like the sun, betrayal and the shopping mall. I took to DreamMoods dream dictionary to interpret these things. 1. The Dying Sun: Significant disruption or serious problem in waking life. Some sort of pain or chaos. 2. Nighttime: Major setbacks and obstacles. Alternatively, death, rebirth, reflection and new beginnings. 3. Leather: Toughness or ruggedness; animalistic and instinctual nature; sexuality. 4. Jacket: Represents the image presented by self in waking life. May also symbolize a defensive and protective persona. That's all the more relevant information I was able to glean from self-interpretation alone. Slightly disconcerting.
