    1. Another Mars Mission, LD #133

by , 11-10-2014 at 01:53 PM (Lucid Time!)
Yet another mars mission dream. In this one, three spacecraft came down to the surface of mars. Two of them had malfunctions and were unable to take off so everybody had to pile into the third spacecraft. The captain of the mission flew everyone off safely in his; the smallest spacecraft.
For some reason there were a bunch of Minecraft Trees on mars while he was taking off. There was also this large pyramid made out of red stone that they flew past.
When they returned to earth, the Captain was in an airplane hangar giving a speech about what inspired him to bravely fly everyone on one spacecraft. He showed a cartoon drawing that a girl had given him in middle school of a space captain punching an alien in the face. It had some quote about courage and being brave that I cannot recall now. The girl that gave him that sketch was his crush in middle school but she had died due to leukemia.

I found myself in the car with my mom driving. I was already fully lucid. I instantly went to my goal; my questions for Manei. We were pulling into my subdivision so I told myself that Manei would be at my house when we got there.
I began saying to myself "I'm dreaming." My mom asked me why I was saying that. I told her that this was my lucid dream and that I was on a mission to find my dream guide and ask her some things. I began rubbing my hand on the inside of the car, feeling the leather and stabilizing the dream.
When I pulled up to the house there was nobody outside. I told myself that Manei would appear when I got inside the house. We got out of the car and I looked around. Certainly not the clearest and most stable lucid dream I had seen. It was a cloudy, overcast day and the dream was a bit hazy. But definitely par.
I go inside, and she's nowhere to be seen. Just my dad in there. I decide to take the DawnEye approach and call her on the phone. Just then the phone rings and I pick it up.
      "Hello?"
      "It's me."
...I'd know that voice in any dream.
      "Where are you?"
"I'm at Marcus' house. I didn't expect you to get lucid tonight."

My dad took the phone away from me in a rather rude way and started talking to her. He seemed really cranky and, in a rather rude way started asking her who she was and what she was doing talking to me. I could hear Manei on the other end, she got all giggly and didn't respond.
I looked around for another way I could possibly manifest/find her. The dream ended. (I didn't wake up, the dream ended.)

I got some pretty awesome synth beats in dream music while I was waking up. They didn't last very long though.
    2. #49 - Cliff fall accident/Offerings...?

Dream 1 - Cliff Fall Accident
Me and my dad are talking on the edge of an outback road and we're look over the cliff next to us. Below us are a bunch of trees and bushes on the hill, and below that is a wave cut platform and then the ocean. I see a couple people sprint down the edge. I ask my dad "How are you supposed to run down a cliff?", "well how do you think?" he replies, "I mean you could let the momentum carry you and then slingshot off a tree branch to slow yourself down or something". There was a cat on the cliff-face behind us, I remember that my mum had been climbing down the hill, I look around for her but I can't see her. I look back for the cat but it's gone too. I move a couple branches out of the way and spot a slumped body by ocean. I enter a panic-overdrive state and somehow just catapult myself down the cliff, slingshot off a branch and land next to her. "MUM!!!" I screamed, tears rolling down my face. There's an eel caught on a couple branches and it starts wriggling free, it has 2 beautiful blue stripes along its back going from head to tail. My mum gets up and snatches at it, "damn, almost had it". "I thought you were dead mum"... "Nah I just scraped my hand", she shows her left hand, it has a 1cm deep flesh wound in it. I offer her some bandages from my right hand (I don't know how I got them) she says "No thanks, I want some real bandages", "These ARE real bandages...", "No they're not" "Argh damn it mum -.- you're being immature".

      Dream 2 - Offerings...?
So there is this ancient queen, we make offerings to her to open these conduits that will bring her back into the material plane. There are 5 conduits, they look like giant eyes, and they're situated on the top of a wall. By this wall is a deep black shadow, he is the king, and he is orchestrating the summoning of the ancient queen because they're lovers. Their shadows kiss as some point, it seemed romantic. I then accidentally kicked his TV (Which was a projection onto a cardboard sheet, nailed into the wall), he gets pissy at me. He's trying to tell me off but the connection is bad on the TV and he has to re-tune it, like tuning into a radio station. By the time he finishes retuning the TV we're over it.
    3. #45 - Poetic Racing/Geology Field Camp/Airport

Couldn't write this up yesterday, had trouble getting onto DV.

The whole night of dreaming felt stressful, like there was just some part of each dream that made me stressed out.

      Dream 1 - Poetic Racing
Intensely sporadic images of random animated over-the-top car racing, similar to the movie 'Redline' (which I had watched before going to bed). Insanely nonsensical, there was poetry too that felt unfinished. Like the sentences had been started but were left hanging.

Dream 2 - Geology Field Camp
Out in the paddock there's something like 50+ tents full of students. We're camping out on farmland for the 2 week field trip as part of a university paper. I get up during the night to go take a leak, but I just couldn't find a good place to go. I ended up going further than I needed to, and I must have woken some of the other students up. They came up to me and asked me where I was going and I told them I was looking for a good place to go, they joked around a bit saying stuff like 'why'd you walk out so far man' and I agreed, since I thought it was dumb and odd too (possibly an inkling of the feeling I may be dreaming). I then head back to find a closer place to go, they kick a shovel my way that I can use to dig a hole or something, and I whistle back in thanks. Unfortunately, my whistling triggers a super loud alarm which wakes everyone up! "Oh come on Alex! Jesus what the hell man", I just feel super stressed out, like 'oh god...' I just knew it was going to piss everyone off and they'd be talking shit about be for ages.

      Dream Fragment
Somewhere at school, my friends showed up but it was really awkward due to an old 'love triangle' we used to have. The guy was dating the girl and we nearly had a fight because of the history.

      Dream 3 - Airport
Me and my mum are driving to the airport, crazy random stuff starts happening to some of stuff the in the scenery, it just changes each time I look. The planes at the airport change into words, the change into vibrant colours, they stretch out, shrink, flatten, enlarge, and move to random places. The then change into beautiful retarded white horses, one of which was walking backwards with its head on the ground. We arrive at the airport and try to find a parking space, but they're all taken. We see a car back out and move in to try take the space, but we're outside the car now and the car has shrunken to the size of a book. I position it in the parking space which just feels to narrow, and there is an Indian man with his daughter sitting in a trolley, he's texting and is oblivious to our efforts of parking. He also happens to be quite close and when I finally manage to re-enlarge the car (first I had tried to wet it by rubbing saliva on it. Weird. Then I threw it on the ground) it nearly clipped the daughter in the trolley. The Indian man had a rant off at me and I had to remind him it was his fault, since he was texting and should have being paying attention (Sounds pretty harsh, but he wasn't very nice). Me and my mum continue into the airport, which appears to be more like a supermarket. I tell my mum that we should check out the horses and see if its safe to show to my daughter, we head over there but now they've changed AGAIN. One of them looks like a unicorn, one of them has a rhino horn. Some of them have long blonde flowing hair. Some of them look like rhinos, one had a fake rhino nose and long blonde hair. There was also a pygmy horse with stumpy little legs galloping around, all of the horses + rhinos had white fur. My dad shows up with my daughter and she's had her hair done, my mum is impressed and asks if he did it but he said no, it was her other grandma that did it.

    4. A couple non-lucid dreams but then DREAM CONTROL

by , 11-03-2014 at 05:14 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I don't remember much from the first dream I can remember from last night. I do remember being at a museum where supposedly the first "selfie" from the year 1010 could be found. It wasn't taken with a camera, of course, and it was actually a complete accident. Apparently a family had gone skydiving and the imprint from where their faces had hit the ground became fossilized, so this "selfie" was just a fossilized impression of people's faces. I was disappointed when I saw it, though. It was just a chalk outline of where the people had fallen, and someone had actually drawn these people on the piece of rock, which I thought was kind of wrong because it was in a cartoonish style and therefore inaccurate.

After that, I recall talking with some guy about Cruisin' USA (an old N64 racing game I used to have; I eventually traded it in a few years ago because, every time nostalgia told me to play that game, I was let down by the awful graphics and the cars' terrible handling). We then heard music from that game coming from somewhere nearby, so we started wandering around the floor of my residence hall trying to figure out which room someone was playing it in.

I woke up from that and had another strange dream when I went back to sleep. My parents were both visiting me at college, and I recommended that they see the Rocky Horror Show (my school's theater production this semester). I haven't seen it yet, but I've heard it's awesome. At some point, I remember noticing that my parents had left, so I started looking for them to see if they were still around. I ran out through the back door (I was in my house now for some reason - technically my old house, but my family just moved this summer, and I've hardly spent any time in the new house because I left for college a few days after we moved and have only been home for one weekend since). When I didn't see my parents there, I ran out the front door and saw my mom's car still in the driveway... packed full of my fraternity Brothers. That was confusing at first, but then they all shouted, "Thank you for helping your mother!" It turned out my mom was in the car too and had recruited them all to say that for some reason.

I woke up again but went back to sleep again. In this next dream, there was a floor event in my residence hall. I saw Jackie, one of my fraternity Brothers (we refer to everyone as a Brother regardless of gender), which surprised me because I didn't know she lived on my floor or even in my building (in reality, she does not). Anyway, the "event" was that everyone would be given a big crossword puzzle to take with them and do throughout the day, and whoever finished it first could return it to get a prize.

For some reason, at some point, we ended up outside by a road intersection off-campus. I decided to leave early and return to campus, which is when things started getting strange. By the time I was back on campus, I found it really hard to walk forward. There was some slight wind at the time, so I thought that could be attributed to the wind, but the wind didn't seem strong enough to interfere with walking. I thought it was strange, but I saw that everyone else was affected in the same way, so I figured it was probably just the wind after all.

When I got back to my dorm, I realized I'd forgotten to take a crossword puzzle from the event, so I decided to text Jackie to ask her if she could bring one back for me, but I didn't have her number, and I didn't know who else I could ask. I also remember getting a bunch of texts from my boyfriend throughout this dream and the last that I felt kind of bad about not having the time to reply to.

The dream suddenly because a Sims 3 game, and, since time can be sped up in the game, I accidentally fast-forwarded time (on the fastest setting) to a couple hours later before finally pausing it. I knew for sure now that I wouldn't be able to ask Jackie to get me a crossword puzzle because there's no way that "event" would still be going on. I also felt bad about not replying to my boyfriend's texts now that even more time had passed.

I realized after awhile that something didn't look quite right about the game interface, though I couldn't quite pinpoint what it was that was different. I did an RC when I noticed that and counted six fingers. I was dreaming! I counted again just to make sure. Seven fingers. Definitely dreaming! Instead of being all clueless as usual when I become lucid, I said out loud, "Now, this is where the fun begins."

Since I had no plan for the dream, I ran around, looking for something fun to do in a dream (I was no longer playing Sims anymore). I found a buffet table. I could eat! No, no, that's something I can do while I'm awake. Then, I spotted an empty glass and an empty silver pitcher on the table and decided now it was time to learn to exert some control over the dream. I decided that, if I poured the "empty" pitcher into the cup, I'd be pouring a drink out of it instead of nothing. I decided it'd be "something like eggnog" (the first thing that came to mind), but not quite the same, because why drink something in a dream I can drink in real life? The drink that came out was white and a little thick, but it didn't taste at all like eggnog. It was creamy, though, and kind of sweet, and... fizzy? I was actually surprised when I tasted something that was slightly fizzy because I wasn't expecting that.

I realized while I was drinking it that I was wearing my retainer, and my reaction to that was my one fatal mistake. I decided I should take my retainer out, but, instead of doing something quick like tossing it on the floor (who cares what happens to it if it's a dream and not real life?), I decided to find the case for it and put it back in its case. That was my big mistake because everything went dark, so I realized I was waking up because this had torn me away from what was keeping me occupied. Once I started to feel myself lying in bed, I knew that was it. I opened my eyes, disappointed I'd caused myself to wake up because of something so silly but also proud of myself for having had some control over not just myself but the dream environment itself.

I did one final RC just to ensure I was awake. Five fingers. I counted again. Five fingers again. Yep, definitely awake this time.

    5. The Struggling Artist

      by , 10-28-2014 at 03:28 PM
      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #252: The Struggling Artist

I’m power-walking up a hill with Mom, describing a dream from earlier in the night where she’d had me take her to a spooky house to ghost-hunt. “That’s just over the hill!” she says, and as she walks up ahead, I become lucid.

She speeds away over the hill, which now looks oddly vertical and impassable. When I follow the line of the hill all the way up, I see a ceiling, and realize that I’m now indoors. It looks very much like my childhood home. I remember my intent to try bonus Task of the Month (play an instrument that doesn’t exist in waking life) with Dreamer, so I attempt a summon, saying something about how now we’re going to do the concert that we talked about. I also dimly recall that Dreamer is actually playing music right now in waking life. (True!)

I try a few different varieties of summon, first assuming she’s there, then reaching my hand behind my back, and finally the old “spin around, there you are!” Each time, I get a flicker of presence but I’m just not able to properly finish the summon. I wander into a version of my parents’ bedroom and I see Dad snoozing on his right side. Through the window I see that it’s morning outside.

I still want to try playing a dream instrument, so I hook my right pinky and left thumb together to form a pantomime trumpet. I blast a few notes into this “trumpet” and it sounds like very realistic but very, very poor trumpet-playing. I’m pleased that I made some dream music this way, but I still don’t consider this to be the success that I was going for.

I walk past my blissfully snoring dad to the window and start phasing through. I briefly get hung up on the mini-blinds but after a moment of calming down, I’m all the way through. I drift down to the ground (for some reason I’m on the second floor, unlike waking life where this room would be on the ground floor.) I again attempt to summon Dreamer, by imagining that she’s behind me. It doesn’t work, and I spin around for a few more of these attempts before deciding to focus on the instrument for a bit.

I hover on my back for a while, looking up at the reddish early morning sky, imagining that the dream instrument will take shape in my hands. I feel a sensation like bubbles pressing gently against my fingers, but I can’t seem to turn this into anything musical. I descend back to the ground, coming back to my feet again. There’s a pine tree here like when I was a kid, and I grab a hunk of bark off of the tree in frustration and stuff it in my mouth to gnaw on it. It tastes about like you’d expect, and I blow the chunks of bark out of my mouth in a big, satisfying spray. I’m not sure what to do now and I move half-heartedly toward the deck as
      the dream ends.

    6. Dad and a Giant Spider

      by , 10-28-2014 at 12:05 AM
Well, this marks my return to Dream Views! Hopefully, after this week, I'll be back to posting all my dreams and actually trying to lucid dream!

I dreamed that I was back at my parents' house for a visit, and my dad was there. It seemed that I knew he was or had been dead, and he obviously knew he'd been absent for a long while.
He was walking through the downstairs of the house, trying out all the lights as though to make sure mom and I hadn't broken them in his absence. I followed him for a time, reassuring him that everything worked and that he'd left things in good hands.

Eventually, I left him to it and went to check out some boxes of my belongings that I must have left there when I moved out. While rummaging through these boxes, I spotted what seemed to be a massive toy spider. I was about to pull it out when I noticed that it was moving, and realised that it was real and very much alive! This spider had a red back and was easily 9 or 10 inches long, leg-span included. Now, I like spiders - I rescue them from the house and from work, and generally leave them alone if no one else has spotted them - but this monstrosity was not something I could cope it. I cried out for my mom to come and help (she's got no fear at all!), but she was obviously busy. I think I put the box down to go and convince her that whatever she was doing, this was more important, but before I could leave, the spider made it out of the box and scuttled off.
Finally, far too late, mom arrived on the scene. I explained, and we spent a few minutes poking around and trying to find/catch the beast.

      Then I woke up.
    7. Parade of Shrek costume

      Parade of Shrek costume (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was doing psychic and mediumship readings, I believe from the podium and I had quite an amount of attendees. After a spit second, the event ended and I was now in a small house, where I believe that I was sharing with someone. I was in a small room in front of my computer, which was very different from my waking computer. I could see from my door how someone was calling me. A made up female friend was about to take a shower, but she was on a swimsuit, and she was extremely hot and sexy. She was happy i was looking at her and seemed she wanted to play.

I had a FA where my dad was in the room, followed by another FA where my wife woke me up and told me something about cooking food in the oven.

My dad was visiting and he called me to my cell and told him to meet outside. I exited the building (I was not longer in a house) and apparently, was a hotel on the mountains. I met with my dad and we started to walk, until we heard a lot of people talking in Spanish and eating a lot of European food. I suddenly saw a lot of people walking by, but all of them had a Shrek costume on.

However, many of them had the costume painted on their bodies and they were naked. They had a ton of tons of greens and like scales or something, some looked very weird.
    8. Meditation Leads to Floating

      by , 10-26-2014 at 01:24 AM
      Non-Dream Dream

I am meditating and it causes me to float. I float over to my parents house in Anaheim and pee in their shower. We start playing a card game that I am making up as we go. It uses baseball cards. One player puts a card down and the next person has to match the card #, team, jersey #, lefty/right, etc (players choice). My dad argues with me saying that David Ortiz bats righty.
    9. #39 - Pedal Plane/Flying Boat

      by , 10-25-2014 at 10:29 AM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)
      Black: Non-dream
      Blue: Non-lucid
      Red: Lucid

Didn't fall asleep until 2am, tried FILD and SSILD together but only had a brief moment of 'hmm is this a dream' which I was okay with, it was a pretty cool dream.

      Dream 1 - Pedal Plane
So I meet a stranger, he has these blue overalls on. We team up, he's extremely bad-ass, got a cold demeanor about him but is on a quest to do good. He gets into bad ass 'ranger' clothing, like Aragorn or something out of Lord of the Rings... We go on a short-lived adventure to save the kingdom or something, but on our way we find out something changed and we can't do anything anymore. We're in typical New Zealand bushy scenery the whole time, travelling alongside a small stream. The stranger is back in his blue overalls again, and walks away down the stream, I shout out "I'll just stick with you for a while until I find out where I'm going next" since we no longer had any reason to stay teamed up. He says "Fine with me", and sounds subtly happy about it but doesn't show it. I grab my stuff and run to catch up with him, the stream we've been travelling along has grown bigger by now. A couple of people are canoeing up it, the stranger says he'll handle it and proceeds to talk to them. One of the people is the spitting image of a friend, M, and the other is a random girl who is apparently nutty... They converse and M mentions that the way ahead is blocked my a massive boulder landslide about 100 metres high. There is a plane he mentions that is man-powered by a pedal bike too. I spot it stuck in a tree, he said he would have used it had it been possible to get it down and to a decent launching area. I just go for it, I hop on and start pedalling like crazy, the planes propellers rotate like crazy and the plane manages to get off the tree, and over a cliff beneath it. I fall down and jump off the plane, I grab a super-flexible branch on a tall tree that's at the bottom of the cliff, it flexes down all the way to the ground and I land softly. Dayum.
I turn around to see an expansive green grassy field, to my left is a car park. I look up and the bike from the plane is plummeting downwards, it has a pole beneath it that was attached to the plane and impales car. <-- my expression. I know somehow that this is the car of the nutty girl! I hear a scream from the hills above, I just turn around and bolt onto the fields. To my right I see her sprinting out of the bushes and chasing after me just shouting random stuff about beating me up (I found this funny in the dream, like I could talk her down and joke to her about it innocently being an accident or something ).
      The dream ends here.

I cement as much of the dream to memory, then push it to the back of my mind and start trying SSILD and FILD. I got a bit confused of how I was meant to do this, was I meant to do it at the same time? I ended up giving up on the FILD pretty quickly as I just got confused, but managed a few cycles of SSILD.

      Dream 2 - Flying Boat
I'm outside at my home (dream sign), bouncing on trampolines. There's three of them, each is slightly different, two are next to each other at the bottom of the slope in our backyard next to the apple tree, the other is slightly lower and is halfway beneath the trampoline I'm jumping on. I think I might have been doing back flips? Not sure. Anyways. I look up and spot a flying boat, this absolutely blows me away. It's so vivid and clear, it's coming out of a cloud and it's red and huge (like a cargo crate transporter boat). I think to myself how odd and amazing it is, and how there's no way that it could be real... Sadly I didn't get lucid. I notice the boat start to tilt, it's falling. I sprint off the trampoline and up the stairs to the deck. I turn around and see the huge boat crash into the ground. The impact created huge tidal waves of water that swelled and crashed over the trees and surrounded my house. Suddenly it's like we're in the middle of ocean during a storm, it's raining, windy, and now the sky is dark and overcast with flashes of lightning. I spot a wayward yellow boat float upside my house (which has somewhat turned into a boat, there is deck beneath the deck I was on now too). My dad shouts something about tying up the boat, I bolt down the stairs and grab a hook attached to some rope. I seem to fiddle around as if my right hand just became stupid or something, it's pretty much slapping the hook onto a rung but just bouncing off and I can't figure out why. I turn it around and try it again, it works. Yay. My dad says 'well done' or something and the dream ends.
    10. Gardening

      by , 10-21-2014 at 12:15 AM
      Non-Dream Dream

Dream 1: I am gardening in my backyard with my dad. He is messing everything up and pouring some white stuff into all of my garden beds. My brother is there too. All of the carrot and radish seeds I planted for my son's birthday party have sprouted.

Dream 2: I am at work with my boss, RL. We have a meeting to discuss new compounds with the chemists Wednesday from 5-6pm.
    11. Physics Exam

      by , 10-20-2014 at 12:10 AM
      Non-Dream Dream

Dream 1: I am running to my final exam up a hill through huge doors into the physics department. Then I run down some hills jumping like crazing yelling info about the exam to people behind me (cheating). I'm not doing well but I don't seem to care. So much more buy I dont remember - I think my dad was there too.

Dream 2: I am in an airplane.

Dream 3: I am driving to work for the big layoff meeting.

Dream 4: My bowling alley has an incredible daycare facility.
    12. Building a Pool and Indoor Baseball

      by , 10-15-2014 at 09:59 PM
      Non-Dream Dream

      Dream 1:

I am jogging through what looks like a bunch of freeways. One section in particular looks like the 405-101 interchange. There are a bunch of homeless people sleeping / living up against the fences on the side of the freeways. I encounter a young woman speaking to the homeless people and one of the guys offers to buy her car for $2000. I quickly intervene because I get the sense that these homeless people are trying to screw her over and I say something like "shame on you."

Dream 2: I am with my Dad (maybe whole family) in a one-street town. Can't remember much else about this one.

      Dream 3:

I have a gigantic backyard and I am attempting to build a very large swimming pool. It seems to be about 20-30 feet deep and as large as an olympic sized pool. I believe there is also a gas station in my back yard. Several friends (I think - can't recognize them) and co-workers show up to help. One of my friends, a young woman, steps into the back yard and is not paying attention. She falls into the pool and I am terrified that she would fall all the way to the bottom. Luckily there is a large cypress tree growing in the pool and she grabs onto it and climbs out.

We all move inside to play an indoor baseball game. There are several coworkers there - especially from TA's group. Other people that are participating include SC and BW from work, my one year old son and Kevin Cosner. The game somehow involves us splitting up into pairs and my son was the pitcher for a brief moment until I realized it might be too dangerous for him. I don't recall who my partner is but we are very vocal and having a great time. Towards the end of the game TA confronts me and says something like "I was hoping this game would allow you to come out of your shell." This really pisses me off because my partner and I seem to be having the most fun. SC and BW were partners and weren't talking to anybody yet TA still decided to call me out. I start yelling at her and say she is a weird and awkward bitch and several other things I can't remember.

      Non-Dream Dream

Dream 1: I am creating virtual cities and buying/selling people and accessories. The people / accessories can gain or lose value depending on their interactions with everything else in the simulation.

Dream 2: I am driving on a freeway with my dad and I am unable to negotiate turns. I am not drunk or on drugs but every time I need to make even the slightest turn I veer into other lanes or off the road. Miraculously I do not run into any other cars even thought the freeway is packed. I finally pull off the road and we go into a bar/diner. People in the place have large bags of weed.

Dream 3: Picking up my brother from an airport. Not sure where we are - perhaps Vietnam. It begins to snow and I am terrified of driving in the snow / ice but my brother's wife makes me. There are strange trains going all throughout the city and they frequently hit cars - but this is acceptable.

First dream I was playing this game, but it was like "fullscreen" so I only saw the game. It was 2d and very similar to mario and a mix of the impossible game. The characters were all pixely like the old mario games and your character was some chick running from TONS of people, the game was actually seriously fun and intense. You run from all these people and they're also in front of you, and theres tons of platforms you have to jump up or down to, to dodge them. I remember losing twice.

I had a dream were my Dad told me I needed to be an exorcist, and that my first job was to stop the goblins from getting up this flight of stairs. The stairs were surrounded by walls, like it was it's own room, and at the bottom had a door. It was really dark, too. My dad gave me this thing, it was shaped like a cow bell, except thin and it was thick at the top and thin at the bottom, and closed at the bottom. it had wavy lines on it, and the whole thing emitted light. In my other hand was a flashlight, and suddenly he gave me a table and he told me "flip this over and it'll probably generate lava" (for whatever reason, this made sense because of the game I played earlier, I guess there was some part about lava). So I placed the light-thing on the left side in front of the door, and the flashlight down on the rightside creating some kind of line of defense. My second line of defense was the upside down table, which never made lava. Also, I had some makeshift spear to kill them with. After all this, I opened the door and these shadowy creatures began to flood out and I couldn't hit them for the lift of me, and I chased them upstairs but to no avail. I closed the door so more couldn't get out. I thought of a strategy, I open the door and let one out and then I kill it. So I opened it and one came out, I hit it once and it flew back into the room. I shut the door and looked under the door, it was looking back at me. Imagine a brown, hairless dog with pink paws and the snout is instead a pink molerat snout. It was a nasty creature. I opened the door and started stabbing it in the face and I was utterly DISGUSTED and it wouldn't die so I had to jam it in over and over again. There was no blood at all (thank god) and as I did this my nose started to hurt, and then I woke up. The dream freaked me out...

Next dream I was in class with all these people. It was a mix of my homeroom and my english class. I talked to some people, that's all I remember.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

      Lucid #236: Chrome

I'm standing outside in a grassy field. I'm in front of a car that looks like a blue 50s Chevrolet. I'm marvelling at the chrome bumpers when I realize that I'm dreaming.

I take in the details of the Chevy for a moment. It's a beautiful car and looks either completely new or freshly restored. I rest my hand on the hood and to my surprise it crumples like paper, leaving a large indentation.

I rub my hand on top of the indentation, trying to bend it back into place. This works, but it sends ripples of motion throughout the car's hood. The car starts to move, and I step back as it rears up onto its tires as if they were hind legs! Now the car's standing over me. The front grille and headlights stare down at me like a face. The chrome bumper is turned up in a half-smile.

"What are you?" I ask. No answer, so I continue: "What do you represent?"

The Chevy moves its lips as if to speak, but no words come out.

"Are you Dad?" More movement from the bumper, but no more words before
      the dream ends.
