    1. July 11, 2018 Non-Lucid

by , 07-12-2018 at 08:25 AM (Deep Inside The Lucid Dreamer's Subconscious)
I was in a city with my friends. Moo and I were going back to the house everyone was sleeping at. We were about 50 feet in the air on little chairs. We were trying to steer the chairs in the wind towards the house. I remember I had gotten really close at some point but had gotten blown away. It didn't feel dangerous but this isn't possible in real life and if it was it would be dangerous. We eventually get into the house and I see Bahar and Kolby are waking up. Ky is there too. The room is dark with a stair case in the middle that goes to a visible 2nd floor. When we were flying in the air it seemed like it was fall with a strange festival going on.

I go outside and now there's this pool with people hiding items inside. The idea is that the swimmers can swim and find valuable things but it's supposed to be rare. Every few seconds the water would become clear and you could see a bunch of shiny objects laying about, then the water would become extremely murky. I was following the story of an attractive girl who had gone back into the house and was now engaging with two men at the same time. She goes into the bathroom after and realizes she was somehow ugly in her view but the guys couldn't notice. She was freaking out. It seems like she traded the ability to see in that pool to get shiny objects for being pretty. Now she thought she was ugly and there was mud covered all over the shiny objects anyways so it didn't even matter that she had them.
    2. 18-02-04 Things Again

This series of 'dreams' happened while I was drifting in and out of consciousness, and as such I had some minor control over the plot. I could recall the plot of the last dream, and the next dream would usually somewhat share narrative threads with the previous ones.

I'm on a derelict cargo ship of sorts, and it's being attacked by a blob-like Thing. The creature is made of a kind of organic, living 'liquid' capable of taking any shape. Its 'skin' is a luminescent orange. When shot or otherwise injured, the dead tissue turns a dull grey and the dead liquid turns hard in that spot. However, the creature could regenerate, and much faster than we could injure it. I'm pretty sure it could assimilate organic matter is touched, too. It grew in size until it was like a giant kraken enveloping the ship completely, its limbs even going inside the vessel, through its hallways. I thought that the only thing to do was perhaps nuke it. The creature, and especially the orange luminescence, was based heavily on the Uroboros virus from Resident Evil 5 and Revelations 2, a game I'd played the day before.

I was chased into my old family home by a Thing, but this one was sapient. It was like a combination of Pennywise and The Thing. I was more of an observer in previous dreams, but now I'd caught their attention. I ran upstairs, into my old room, and through the window. I jumped out into the farmer's field below. The Thing had take the form of a dinosaur-like creature, like a kind of Velociraptor. I knew I was likely screwed, as the field was a wide open space and the raptor would surely run faster than me. Luckily, I drifted close to consciousness in that moment, and I could switch the dream to the next scene.

This one took place in a forest, and involved a guy and a girl he loved. At some point, the girl was taken by 'It', into a bunker. The bunker door closed behind them, and I knew a nuke was going to go off any time now and wipe him (and everything else) out. At this point, the line between genuine dream and waking fantasy blurred. I 'saw' or 'fantasized' a scene, years later, where the guy was on a motorcycle, riding on a long road through a desert wasteland, accompanied by a band of bikers/resistance/survivors who had picked him up after the previous scene with the girl. I felt pretty sure that later in the plot, he'd meet the girl again.
    3. Rejected

      Rejected.
I don't remember much of this dream right now. I had it earlier in the night, and I left a few notes, but I don't really remember anything but the notes I put down. I'll try expanding on them if I can.

The first thing I recall is feeling my hair and noticing it was longer than I have ever had it before. It went a bit past my shoulders. I actually really liked it and decided to keep it that long. I went to a mirror to check it out, and the style made me look kind of feminine. I sort of morphed between male and female for the rest of the dream. I saw a girl with blonde hair and glasses, kind of nerdy looking, that seemed attractive to me but I had a feeling I should stay away from her. I don't recall how I first saw her. At one point I was driving across town and went to Toys'R'Us to do some last minute Christmas shopping. I wanted to get a gift for this girl, but also something for my niece and nephew. I can't think of exactly what it was I was looking for. It had something to do with either music or books, and it could be done on a tablet, but I didn't want to buy a tablet. There was a loud advertisement around the corner with a light shining on said tablet, but I really wanted the real thing. I ran into my brother here who was also shopping, and he told me not to go for this girl because it'd be a mistake.

I didn't care. I was infatuated and nothing would change my mind. I stopped to visit the niece and nephew on the way home and noted that they were staying in a small single-wide mobile home all by themselves. They're only children, so someone would have to go there and take care of them. The whole family was present while I was there, including the kids' parents, my brother, and my parents. There were no lights on inside the house.
I decided to return home. I confronted this girl and got utterly shamed. She had no interest in me, she was of the opposite political spectrum and was engaged to be married within 3 days. I remember being laughed at by Mark Dice at one point for even going near the liberal lunatic. lol.

      Motel fire
I spent a good deal of another dream recalling a memory that I don't believe exists. I was sure it was a past dream that I was recalling. I can't get all the details right now, but basically I was in an enclosed motel. It was oval shaped with doors and elevators split between 4 floors on either side. On the main floor was a very nice black marble. Very shiny and clean. On one said was the entrance, on the other was a waterfall and a giant eagle.
The motel appeared to be my place of employment, and my family was staying there for the weekend. A fire had broke out and everyone quickly grabbed their belongings and walked out of the building. The fire went on for several minutes, but it seemed to have been contained fairly quickly. I remember seeing big black clouds of smoke raise from the building, as there didn't appear to be a roof over the main part of the motel. The lobby area was mostly covered from the elements due to the floors above it, and the building connected over to other offices and businesses. I fabricated the story a bit as I was recalling it. I made it seem as though my family had lost everything in the fire and that we had to start anew, but that would not be the case as this was just a weekend stay.

I snapped by to reality (Or so I thought), and realized I was sitting on a sofa at my first job, talking to old friends. Nobody seemed real interested in my story. I walked outside and sat on the steps of the building talking to a coworker. We were all waiting for the newspaper truck to arrive to give us our papers that we would distribute to our customers. This person I was talking to was quizzing me and my brother to pass the time. She asked us a few questions and we had gotten them right. The last question was a hard one, and one I almost got right, but my brother leaned behind him and looked inside the door at a piece of paper on the inner door. It had said the answer to the question that was asked. The person asking the question got mad and took down the paper and hid it because my brother cheated. I went back inside and talked to an old friend Tim V. Tim never worked at this company before, but my dream self didn't seem to notice. He had aged a bit since I last saw him, but I could tell it was definitely him. I asked him how he's been and he started talking about his life issues and how depressed he's been.

      Hide and seek

I was running around some old, abandoned farmstead. It was really foggy all around. I was chased by a strange horse that tried to eat me. I was running away from it, avoiding obstacles and climbing up buildings. In several places I saw some glowing shards, picking them up made the surroundings brighter. I jumped down from one of rooftops and the horse immediately attacked. I pointed at it with my thumb and it illuminated the horse like a flashlight. The beast was afraid of light and escaped, but whenever it came back to darkness, it tried to attack me. I ran into a barn and climbed up a wall. The horse turned into an evil clown. I tried to climb higher so it won't get me, but mistakenly collapsed a wall on it and escaped.

      DILD

I was about to leave my house, when I met some girl entering it. . I told and gestured her to leave, but it only made her clothes disappear. She stared at me confusedly. With another gesture, I made her breasts grow bigger, then another one appeared and shouted that she'll make me end the same. I just left my house and got to a road outside, thinking if this is a dream. I made a reality check and moved on. I tried to fly, but couldn't. I couldn't jump too high as well. I recalled one of advanced tasks of the month and looked at the sky. Instead of moon or sun, there was a strange mix of them. I tried to turn the moon blue, but it didn't work. Then I thought about visiting one of my pals. I tried to get there with high jumps or flying, but they weren't working too well. Instead I found a way to traverse far distances with just a few steps. Looking around on my way, I noticed that everything looked like more than ten years ago. I got to my pal's house and met her brother. I asked him where she went - apparently she was with parents on backside of the house. I noticed that she's only like 4 or 5 years old when I got there. I thought that I'm younger like all the DC's I saw, but I wasn't changed at all. I sat on a bench, and the dream ended.
    5. Nightmare - Aliens - Textile work - A girl | 2 dreams | Restaurant - The Sims 4

      by , 06-21-2017 at 08:56 AM
Ok, I don't know if you understand the title but I do so whatever. I got four dreams on Monday, but I was busy. I tried to write them here on yesterday too, but website was sooo slow I gave up. But here are the dreams:

#1 This was a nightmare. I remember wathching some scary pictures. There were normal people and ghosts in them. I only saw two pictures until I woke up.

At this point I tried to get myself motivated to get a LD (MILD) but it didn't work.

#2 There were only aliens on Earth (expect that I was a human, I think). The aliens were big and colourful. They ate something, propably meat. This dream was really interesting.

#3 I was in school and had textile work. One girl (who actually didn't have textile work IRL so...) was talking about how every girl had like A for it, expect me, apparently. I felt a little sad for it. She was mean.

#4 I was in school again, and talking to another girl. She talked about her crush. She described him. It didn't sound like it, but apparently she was talking about my crush. I told her that I liked him too. I think I had this dream because I'm always so jealous.

So those were the dreams I had on Monday. I had two dreams yesterday, but they were a little boring and I don't remember them that much. I also tried WILD in the morning, but my siblings were noisy so I failed. Here are the two dreams for today, however:

#1 I was on a restaurant. Its food was not the typical kind, but it was good. The restaurant had dark brown walls and a weird mascot. I think I went to the actual kitchen after eating.

#2 I was playing The Sims 4 with my favourite family, butI then its dad made a fire so I immediately quit without saving. Then I played it again avoiding the thing (not a stove) that caused it.

So, those were the dreams I've had recently. No LDs, but I guess I'm still happy.

    6. Skeletal dino, a date, some lucidity

      by , 06-16-2017 at 10:34 AM (Letaali's Dream Journal)
LD 95 - Hungry Jurassic Visitor
I'm at a large store or mall with friends. I sit close to the others as they try to play a game on an old TV. It's a black CRT TV and the video quality gives it away too. I have an electric kettle with two spouts. One is blue and the other is white, like the rest of the kettle. I drink tea straight out of it. After a while I walk away alone.

The mall turns into a public indoors swimming pool. I go to the showers and saunas before going to the pool, like you are supposed to. When I get to the pool, I see a tower with several levels to jump from. I visualize jumping from 6 m diving board, backflipping onto the 3 m diving board below to gain more height, then spinning and flipping like crazy in the air, before diving into the pool. My visualizations have turned into the dream, and I actually dive into the pool after the crazy jumps. It takes a while to resurface, and the pool is full of people now, so I struggle to make it past them in time and fear I might drown, but I make it.

In the swimming pool, I realize I have no clothes on, no swimwear of any kind. A pretty woman was getting really close to me. After a bit of fooling around I said I had to go and asked if she wanted to meet again. She did. I went to the showers again and thought about heading home.

Dream skips to a big red house surrounded by forest. Reminded me of my dad's childhood home, but there were many differences. There were planted flowers, apple trees in front of the house, young birch trees and other trees near the house. The house was on a bigger hill too. A random DC, a boy was on the yard. I was looking after him. Felt like I was his big brother. He was constantly doing something dangerous, I couldn't take my eyes off of him. He gave me his ice cream and I accepted it. He ran off towards the front of the house and I followed, trying to eat the ice cream on the way. The apple tree had some low hanging branches with a beehive I had to avoid.

After clearing the trees, I saw my mom in front of the house. I talked to her from a distance, then suddenly a skeletal dinosaur appears from behind the house. It's the Spinosaurus from Jurassic Park 3. Mom doesn't realize the danger before I yell for her to run. She runs in one direction, I run in another. There's a pile of those birds from the movie "Up" next to the house. I hide behind them. The dinosaur finds me. The fear of death clears my mind, my focus on survival is absolute. In this moment of clarity, I become lucid. I raise my hand in the last possible moment towards the beast to stop it from eating me. I start humming a song, focusing on charming the dinosaur. I can see the beast calming down for a moment, then breaking free from my control. I keep trying, but every time the beast breaks free. I start thinking that I'm trying too hard, usually that ends the lucid dream. Well, guess what happened.

I woke up and chained back to the previous dream shortly after.

      Julie
I'm with my brother and dad. I tell them about the previous dream in detail and I get transported back into it. I'm in my apartment, cursing to myself. At the pool I didn't get the girl's name and we didn't decide when or where to meet. How am I supposed find her? I feel really bad about it.

I make my way to university, into a weird lecture hall. The male teacher is making jokes, students seem to like him. The teacher asks one student to draw a penguin on the board for some reason. To my surprise, the girl from the pool is sitting close to me. She passes me a purple piece of paper when the lecture ends. It says her name, Julie, and that she would love to still have a date.

I talk to a friend in front of a bathroom mirror. I have some weird red spots on my face. Perfect time for those, I think sarcastically. My friend says I look fine. I look for trashcan to throw the purple piece of paper, since I don't need it anymore. There's no trashcan anywhere, and when I find one, a cleaning lady says it's not for paper. I've wandered into a massive hallway now. A doctor collapses nearby. Medical students rush to help and I do too. I want to help. One student asks me to ready the IV attached to the stretcher. I have to set it to drip slowly? I'm not sure how to do it. As the doctor is lifted onto the stretcher, he does it himself by compressing an inhaler looking part that's attached to the IV bag.
    7. Girl, Portal, Tomatoes, Asuss Power, Minecraft, Run

by , 04-23-2017 at 04:28 PM (Fantastical Adventures)
-1-here was this girl that walked in place at night for some reason, which prevented the escape of some characters. Trying to reason with her was futile. I opened portals for easy travel to her parents, which signed up for all the things. These things would reveal the girl's location if she came within range of one of them. Reasoning with her was impossible.
      [New Scene]
I was sitting at a wood table eating salad with lettuce, cheese blocks, and...tomatoes? I hate tomatoes. Why didn't I become lucid then?
-2-A cool antagonist I forgot about had a source of something called Asuss Power. The source looked remarkably like a Minecraft Wither Skeleton Skull. I took it and ran into the ocean, then insta-mining my way down and away. I was getting chased by another antagonist unsuccessfully.

    8. Escape from heaven to hell, or heaven to Earth.

by , 01-04-2017 at 07:57 PM (Awake to take in the view...)
Last night's (non-lucid) dream was pretty cool. I was in heaven, in a field, so apparently I had died or something. Two guys there were trying to move from heaven to hell. As to why they would want to do that, I have no idea! Then, there were two ladies there who wanted to move from heaven to Earth instead.

I suppose this particular heaven wasn't all that exciting.

Somehow, in their efforts to travel back to earth, they managed to take me with them. I felt like I was waking up into the land of the living, and suddenly we were in some restaurant located inside of a shopping mall. The two girls were really nice, and I talked to them a bit, but I honestly don't remember why they wanted to go back to Earth. I think they said they had "unfinished business" or something.

There was also a guy with a dog that was performing in a show or something. It's a bit fuzzy in my memory though.

Then, we all got on an elevator to go down to a lower floor. The guy with the dog was on it too. There were a lot of people in said elevator, but it was very large and roomy so it didn't feel crowded. It was a glass elevator, so you could see the lower floors of the mall. Anyway, there was a needle of some sort laying on the ground.

And get this: It moved of its own accord, and immediately began stabbing me. I actually felt the pain. My mind immediately jumped to the conclusion that some sort of organization had built this needle to...do something malicious. But I don't remember what! :')

That faded, and I was outside in a nice neighborhood with some large houses, some of which were under construction. There was a large crowd of people walking towards one of them -- I think the one that was being constructed -- and I remember a pretty girl with a pink strapless blouse, which had a pattern of diamond shapes on it in a variety of colors. She was pale and neither skinny nor overly heavy -- just perfect.

The last thing my dream journal says is "something else as part of dream." I don't remember what that something was, though. I was starting to get really tired and had less than an hour before waking up, so I just went back to sleep I think.

    9. Making Rainbows (DILD)

      by , 12-17-2016 at 03:34 PM
Ritual: I'm coming out of my longest dry spell yet, but it was clearly a problem of motivation. Even when I had the superficial motivation to LD (I always do), the deeper motivation that makes it actually work was thwarted. In time I came to recognize the reason for this. At the end of last semester I started talking to a colleague that I knew was very interested in dreams. Even though their interest had been shaped by Freudian principles, I ventured to reveal my interest in (and practice of) lucid dreaming in the hope that we might have an interesting dialogue across perspectives. Well, the colleague promptly stopped talking to me, and I was so annoyed and embarrassed that it took a terrible toll on my dreaming. Not just lucidity—even the quality of my NLDs and my ability to remember them faded drastically. And even after I finally diagnosed what was causing the problem, I couldn't seem to dismantle the emotional block. I would just get irritated whenever I thought about it. I think this combined with the natural cyclic tendencies of my dream practice—I have too many interests and hobbies so all of them seem to wax and wane at various points to make room for one another—but hopefully my dreaming is now on the verge of a comeback. I can't think of a better New Year's resolution.

I went to bed early last night (11pm) hoping that would help to get lucid, and for good measure spent some time browsing DV. I woke up a few times during the night and it seemed like it was going to be a bust, since I barely had any dream impressions. But the last dream I had before waking (at around 7:45am) was lucid and controlled and clear, if not ultimately successful in completing my intended task.

DILD, "Making Rainbows": I was in a warehouse-like space with tall shelves crammed with every imaginable object, though everything looked old and used. I was having a conversation with someone about the place, though I don't feel like there was anyone walking with me; I think I was speaking aloud, but the other person was answering in my mind. I was observing that many of my own dreams (the comparison suggests that I did not yet recognize this as my own dream) included environments just like this, crammed full of objects, often taking the form of stores, libraries, archives. I proposed the hypothesis that these kind of object-archives were a metaphor for the mind, for the way it stores impressions or information. I wondered if I could put that idea to the test. (This idea suggests that I did recognize that I was in a mentally-constructed environment. What did I think it was, if not my own dream? Maybe the dream of the person I was talking to.)

This next section is ambiguous in that I can't be sure if I had the name and was looking for the object or holding the object and was looking for its name or shelf location, but it was definitely a matching exercise between object and name. The object was a tool of some kind, flat strips of somewhat oxidized metal bent into a particular configuration with a short chain attaching some sort of polygonal fastener. It vaguely resembled one of those old metal spring traps, but not exactly, and its function was unclear. I had never seen or heard of such a thing, but I learned that it was called a "streng." I either got the name at the outset from the voice I was talking to and then found the object, or (and I think this is more likely since I have memories of holding the object as I walked), picked up a random object and then had to find out its name by looking for its shelf. But this is a false dichotomy... dreams don't always divide so neatly between what, in waking light, seem like the logical possibilities.

At any rate, I was putting the idea of this warehouse as a kind of memory archive to the test by trying to match an object with its name. The mental effort took, I reasoned, as long as it actually took me in the dream to find the shelf. Given that it sometimes takes me a day or more to recover some sought-after piece of information from memory, this doesn't seem too far-fetched. I'm sure my archives are, like my physicial spaces tend to become, terribly cluttered with extraneous matter, making it hard to find anything. I actually commented at one point, looking at all the crap on the shelves, "I can't stand to throw anything away." But the details that make this whole exercise less plausible as a valid hypothesis of mental functioning was the object itself: neither the name "streng" nor the metal object it described corresponded with anything in waking life. The whole process seems at best to have been metaphorical.

After this improvised task was complete, I wondered what to do next and remembered, sinced I'd just browsed DV before bed, that I still had a couple unfinished TOTY. At this point it occurred to me that if I'm now taking conscious control of my intentions and the dream environment, I must be lucid, but it didn't feel like there had been any qualitative change in my mental state. Rather, the difference between being non-lucid and lucid seemed in this case to come down primarily to whether I was acting spontaneously within the structure of the dream (as in my former task) or whether I was accessing memories and intentions that I had earlier established with waking consciousness.

I wondered if I should try basilisk or leprechaun, and decided on the latter. Its no wonder that I'm stuck on these last two. I think I have a mental block against leprechauns because my mental imagery is composed primarily of cheesy cereal commercials; maybe that's why I have yet to actually meet one. Meanwhile I keep avoiding basilisk because it explicitly instructs killing DCs, which I am reluctant to do. I have no problem killing NPCs in RPGs and computer games, or experimenting with different ethical alignments in those environments, but dream feels different, like the stakes are higher. I'm not sure why. At any rate, given the options, I went with leprechaun again.

Would it be possible to create a rainbow indoors? I thought it over and figured that in dream, that should be entirely reasonable. And even though the shelves in this warehouse were only a bit over head-high, the ceiling itself was vastly higher overhead: the space was huge. So I started trying to conjure a rainbow. At first nothing happened. I put my hands together in front of me, touching at the sides with the palms up, and tried to use this as a focus to create a rainbow directly from my hands, arcing upward. I managed a weak one a few times, but they quickly fizzled out.

A young girl, maybe eight years old with blonde hair, noticed what I was doing and approached with an offer to help. "Sure," I said. I don't remember exactly what form her help took, she might have just added her concentration to my own, but with it my rainbows were getting better. I managed to make one finally that had bright colors, though there were only four of them and they were oddly separated into tube-like strips resembling neon lights, and shining with the same fluorescent intensity. Good enough for the task? I gazed at it critically, annoyed that there were only four colors. In response, the second tube from the left split down the middle and became two different colors. Good enough, I figured, and started looking for the end of the rainbow. But then that one flickered out, too.

Every time a rainbow failed, I regrouped and tried to improve my concentration. The four-color failure made me realize I needed to focus on what the colors of a rainbow actually were, so I started chanting them as I concentrated: "Red orange yellow blue indigo and violet...." I had a hard time keeping them in the right order, and after I woke up I realized that I had completely left out "green," an interesting difficulty given that while awake, I can easily and accurately recite the colors of the rainbow without a second thought.

The little girl continued in her role as my assistant, and now that I was working on the getting the colors straight we managed to produce a bright, very proper-looking rainbow. Best of all, it touched the floor right in front of us, so all we had to do was dig, presumably, to find the leprechaun and his gold. But no sooner had we rushed up to the spot than the rainbow disappeared again. This was getting annoying.

Just then I became aware of a commotion in the building. We were now standing outside one wide entrance to the warehouse, which opened onto what looked like an atrium of a shopping mall, still an enclosed space but walled with plate glass windows. People were rushing over to the windows in excitement, and through the windows I could see the people outside down below (we were around four storeys up) moving in the same direction.

The view through the glass looked out over an urban street and the row of buildings on the far side, beyond which the city ended at steep brown hills of nearly barren rock and earth. Everyone inside with us was pointing and staring at the hills, or hurrying outside to get closer to them, and the moment I looked out the window I could see why. An extraordinary rainbow had spontaneously appeared outside, and its end was clearly visible where it touched the side of one of the hills. The rainbow actually resembled the four-colour neon one that we had created earlier, but this one was exceedingly large and bright.

The hills were probably at least a mile away and too steep to climb by foot, so I knew I would have to fly. I started pushing out the large square glass panes in the wall above me, wondering if this was the most efficient way to leave the building, or if I should just walk the thirty yards or so to the exit everyone else was taking. (The exit occupied the space to our right that had formerly led into the warehouse, which was no longer visible.) The exit led onto a sort of sky bridge that crossed the road, so it would also be a fine place to take off from. I chastised myself for wasting mental energy deciding between trivialities and decided to just continue with the window.

After pushing out four panes to make a larger square, I grabbed the girl's hand and asked, "Have you ever flown before?" She shook her head. "Well, hold on tight." I levitated both of us up and through the space I had made. I did not feel physically obstructed by the metal frame that criss-crossed between the four panes of glass I had removed, though I felt a bit annoyed by the way I had so blithely floated through it. It felt careless. I mean, why bother taking out the glass at all if I was just going to pass ghost-like through the frame? I realized that again, I was letting myself getting bogged down with unnecessary and unhelpful mental baggage, but I've never felt comfortable "cheating," even in dream.

We flew high over the street and buildings bordering the city, and I realized how startling the experience of flight must be to someone who was unaccustomed to it. Indeed, the girl felt very tense at my side, and murmured plaintively, "I want to sit down." I felt it would be cruel to ignore her terror, so as soon as we cleared the city, I aimed for a flat outcropping of rock at the base of the hills. We came down fast and landed hard, much harder than I had ever landed when flying on my own, so I attributed it to her fear weakening my own buoyancy. As soon as we landed, I asked her, "Are you alright continuing?" She shook her head and I prepared to take off on my own, but even as my feet left the ground I felt myself waking up and was unable to forestall it.

Lately, I've been having dreams involving embracing, kissing, and affection, mainly with women whom i cannot put a name to. I'm mainly thankful that these dreams do not seem to involve me ex, as my feelings for her remain strong and difficult to deal with. However, a dream that took place the other night stood out to me. I find myself in a strange building with many windows, accompanied by this girl I've been seeing lately. There are things that happen in this dream, but I cannot remember most of them. But I do vividly remember a particular instance, similar to how I remember things from my childhood. A girl who attended my high school makes an appearance. I always sensed that she liked me in high school, but I never made a move. In the dream, there seems to be a mutual level of attraction between us. We kiss in a room that has windows and is visible from another part of the house. Afterwards, I immediately am with the other girl I've been seeing in real life, and she confronts me about kissing the girl from my high school. I can't remember what I said, but whatever it was convinced her that my kissing this other girl was not a big deal, and she quickly forgives me. We embrace, and all between us seems okay. That is all I can remember. It seems as though I've been having dreams like this every night. Last night I was in an absurd situation with a blonde girl at a dinner table. I know there was a lot more to this one, but as usual, I cannot remember. I can't say that I do not enjoy these dreams, but I fear that soon my ex lover will enter them. If that occurs, I imagine I'd wake up with such pain and find myself in tears.

At my parents house, it is evening time and all the lights are on. There is a giant ant or maybe a few roaming about. I find them terrifying, like dr who from when i was little.
A dog appears from nowhere and snaps them up. Ir is a small daschund like dog, although it has fine shiny hair all over and is more light brown than dark. I don't usually like dog or am at least wary of them.
When I was little our neighbour had an irish wolfhound and a scottish deer hound that were both as big as them, in the end they put them down as they got to feirce. Anyway they used to chase us and sometimes would jump over our fence into our garden Oo this was very scary for me as I was only little at the time and they were at least twice my height. We did have a black labrador when I was a toddler, this dog reminded me more of that.
The dog went and laid on my clothes in a chair, I went over and felt compelled to hug my face into its fur. It did not move. I felt warm and protected.
Next a girl appeared, again from nowhere and acted nonchalant, as she helped herself to food. We never used to lock the front door, so I assumed shed just walked in.
She spilt a load of water when making coffee, but it was more like a flood (emotions?).
We went for a ride in a car, the girl and I, it was now daylight.
I can't recall what happened next but I was looking for where a lady lived, flying high up in the sky.
I spyed her house on a small street that was a mews of converted properties.
From above I could see steps cut from rough hewn stone, like they had been cut out of a mountainside. They're was an arch the length of the property with a metal grid underneath (castle style?).

    12. Vague suggestions of lucidity.

by , 11-06-2016 at 05:12 PM (Awake to take in the view...)
A few days back, there were two nights in a row where I was having dreams like Inception or something. Essentially, I knew that I was dreaming, but then I would have false awakenings inside of the dream. So I would think that I was awake, but I was actually still sleeping.

In one particularly memorable dream, I was part of a laboratory experiment on sleeping. The idea was a bit absurd, now that I have my waking brain to analyze it: If I drank water during a dream, when I was thirsty, would I still be thirsty upon waking? I fell asleep inside of the dream, and took a nice long draught of water. I woke up inside the laboratory dream and found that no, I wasn't thirsty anymore! The scientists were all excited, and so was I. Then I woke up for real, and realized how cool that was. Unfortunately, I was still thirsty, so I took a drink of water for real.

Experiment result: If you are thirsty during a dream, you should just fall asleep inside of the dream, and drink water within that dream. xD Or just wake up and drink water for real.

In another dream, I think I knew I was dreaming and so I flew, but I wasn't conscious enough to think of anything more than that. -_-

Last night is a bit more hazy, and I have an insane amount of homework to do today so this will be a quick summary:

      - A little girl who was left behind on a haunted island (with spirits and such) finally got found, rescued, and reunited with her loved ones. I think that I helped her somehow, but I honestly don't remember. I had a degree of lucidity in that one.
      - Another dream happened where I became lucid while driving a car through some mountains. Decent amount of city around me. I was singing and thought it would be a brilliant idea to practice my singing voice in my dream, where nobody could hear me. However my logic wasn't working too well and for some reason I thought I was actually singing out loud and was going to wake up my roommates. This caused me to wake up and realize I wasn't. -_-
      - I was in some sort of theater, and asked everyone in the room something like, "Hey! Who here knows they're dreaming right now?" My brother was there, too. I was hoping that someone else would remember, or maybe there'd be a shared dream or something, but I honestly can't remember what anyone said...
      - I was watching some sort of advertisement, and there was this girl in a swimsuit who was sort of attractive except she had one of those gross spray-on tans.
      - I have a vague memory of some sort of romantic/sexual dream, but I sadly can't remember it. Maybe I'll have a continuation of that theme tonight? :O We will see. That would be awesome!

You know why this night was so successful, though? Affirmations plus sufficient sleep! The night before, I told myself I WILL lucid dream tonight, and I guess that determination worked its way into my subconscious. Plus Daylight Savings Time helped a TON. Woo!

Don't read ahead unless you're an adult, I've tried keeping some of the descriptions to a minimal though.

      Dream
It's sunny and I'm walking along a sheltered wooden deck outside, like a walkway you might see at the zoo. As I was walking I saw cute girls walk past in leggings, I flirted with one of them and it felt unrealistic which clued me in that it was a dream. I became lucid and immediately went cave-man mode, no stabilising or anything.. I just walked up to the cute girl and groped her, kissed her and many other things I managed to go all the way and even finish which isn't something I've ever had in a lucid dream. A weird thing I noticed was that she kept disappearing yet was still there, it's hard to explain but basically she went invisible or something..

    14. [28-10-2016: PE lesson, a favor, waterslide & mall DILD, mirror DILD]

      by , 10-28-2016 at 06:12 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      PE lesson

I was in my old school, I left changing room and went to sports hall. We had a new PE teacher. I was just about to enter the sports hall when I noticed that I don't have one of my shoes on, and the other had an enormous hole in it. I passed by students from other class and entered the hall. The teacher took some old shoes from a cardboard box and gave them to me. I took them on and started tying them.

      Failed WBTB attempt

      A favor

With two classmates we were in a city, wandering around blocks of flats. It was a sunny but cold day. We were going to a house of some girl one of classmates wanted to invite to a prom. We got outside her flat, there was some dark haired girl outside, standing with her mother. Classmate asked me to do him a favor and ask her mother if her daughter will go with him to a prom. I went to that mother and asked "Could your daugter go on a prom..." She cut in and asked me about her name. I didn't knew it and stood there in silence. After a while I explained "Well, I'm doing a favor for a friend who is too shy to ask her out." She said "I see..." I went back to these two dudes and suddenly we heard a voice shouting through megaphone. Her mother was angry at us.

      Waterslide DILD

I woke up in a bed in other room than usually, confused. I felt as if I wore a jacket, but when I moved my hand over my body but haven't felt any jacket. I started suspecting that this might be a dream and made a nose-plug RC. It confirmed that it was a lucid dream. I got out of the bed and moved towards doors. I used them to teleport outside. It was really early morning but it wasn't that dark. I was standing on the middle of the road, completely naked. Staring at the way the road led, I got an idea to make a waterslide. I jumped on the ground and created a wildly flowing stream of water flowing along the road. I slided across whole village, increasing or decreasing flow of water until I got close to my friends house. There was an enormous shopping mall in the middle of the road. It looked like it was just recently open for business. I entered it, it was really dark inside. In the darkness I could see all the clothes shops - there were only clothes shops with mannequins. I clapped my hands expecting the claps to turn lights on, but it wasn't working. I got a wild thought that these mannequins could turn alive and attack. I immediately got a feeling that I'm surrounded, that thousands of them stare at me at the same time, I felt lost. I managed to calm myself and stabilise the dream a bit, thinking "Wait, they can't even turn alive if I don't allow them to do so!" I continued along the shop. Suddenly I lost lucidity.

      Mirror DILD

I woke up in a bed in another room again. Immediately I realised that it's a dream and made a nose-plug RC to confirm it. I got out of bed and moved to hallway, there was a huge mirror hanging on a wall. I waved my hand in attempt to telekinetically smash it, but it only made the dream much less stable. The reflection in the mirror showed the hallway in strong moonlight. I woke up.
    15. 21/10/2016 Meeting a classmate

      by , 10-21-2016 at 09:08 PM
I went to bed at 2:30. Fell asleep at 3:30 more or less. Woke up at 7:30 and recalled some dreams:

I dreamt being in the house of my grandfather. I was with my grandmother and my sister Sofia. We were conversating, i was about to leave. Suddenly we hear a noise... that came from my stomach. It sounded like a fart, but i didn't fart, lol. I said that the air was adjusting in my body, but nothing went out.

I was on the school yard. It was dark. There was a lazer at the end of the pitch, like the one that come from root powers in Avatar the leyend of korra. It pointed at me and wanted to kill me. There were cameras everywhere, so everywhere i went the cameras would recognize me with infrared light and the other lazer would aim and shoot. I couldn't get to the other lazer because it was about 120 meters away. I manage to move... and go to a lower ground so the lazer had no chance to shoot me. It was tough but didn't have to be so tough since i just could do that. Anyways there was the sports teacher, called Diego. In the dream he was not in good mood, maybe he was involved in that lazer stuff... I was not going to hang with him, no matter what "authority" he had in the school (actually in this dream the teachers had no authority whatsoever. I think im letting go that ). So as soon as i started walking away and turned my back on this teacher for good the headmaster came. Again. He could order, yell, whatever, but i gave him no authority. He didn't even talked or if he did he said something about economy... but it was related to Diego's Class. So i was not interested, not going to get involved and waste time on it so i left. Nobody complained.

Then i took notes on the following dream but i don't remember very well the dream, so i don't understand them. I dreamt i think being in the apartment. Eri, my sister, was there and some friends of her: Magda and Emi. Then i wrote that my sister asked me why people were listening to different music. I said something like i don't know, none of my business, besides i was listening to my own. (It was like a question to complain).

I did a WBTB and one hour later i lied down in bed to try WILD. I failed. But i had a nice dream:

I was definitely on a dream... but not lucid. It was a dream city, so i don't know where it was. There was a building and a grill of an apartment in the third floor more or less set on fire. A lot of firefighters came with hoses to turn off the fire. They did it every action with no hesitation and a nice work. They said that the fire got up to the 8th floor (i only saw the grill on fire, but nothing else... lol And it was a sudden burst of fire, out of nothing. There was a man there though about to make an Asado (Barbecue)). I was on the bottom floor, in the streets actually. It was night. Some militars wander around to show people where the bathrooms were, and since i was one of the young people i had to help other citizens to get to the bathroom. Actually there was only a guy, 30 years old, looked like marine but just looked like, he wasn't militar. He didn't need any help since he followed the soldier. But as we came back and i saw him he was with no expression but i think he was kinda grateful i went. Then i go back inside the building and a classmate greets me, and she asked me if i could go with her to the bathroom. I thought i just came but ok, i could later talk to her (these nights i been wanting to interact with a DC real or fictional. She was real). We go to the bathroom and when we get in there were only three toilets separated by a transparent plastic sheet and with no doors. I thought ok, i might have to go out now. But before i could do anything i saw this girl walking in fron of me and going to the third toilet, she put down her pants and sat there and started peeing. "Alright... i guess" i said and went to the first toilet. Actually one couldn't see anything through these plastic sheets, but it was a shared bathroom and no privacy whatsoever. I took out my thing and started peeing as well. She finishes and waits for me outside the second toilet. Meanwhile i was not finished, and she starts to get harrased by a guy (probably of my age). When i first heard him i thought if i had to go to and engage in some fisticuffs. I was afraid, not about fighting, but about him nocking me or even killing me and she getting raped or something like that. So i remained calm, so far she could defend herself for a bit and i would be much more light when i evacuate all the urine from my bladder. Then i hear her say "don't spit at me". At this moment i was about to go out and just but i remembered that i would be better fighting if i had no sensation that i want to urinate. So i finally finished. It took very long, like 2 minutes dreamtime. I do three steps back and i saw that the bathroom was a bit different already (no more plastic sheets but the normal kind, more spatious, and with more people (people i knew and that actually could back me)). The first person i see was my friend Fran O (he was a thin guy. 2 years ago he started gym, and made a lot of muscles. Now he is in normal shape) with lots of muscles. I stared him at the eyes and he at me and we both knew we each had our backs. Then i turn to see this girl (which i won't name) and he was in front of this guy. I ask if there was a problem, and she tells me that he wanted to charge to use the bathroom. I stare at him at the eyes as well, but with no ill-will, however not friendly either. He was smiling, with a smile like or of evil or wicked fun. I asked the girl if she wanted to go and she said yes, lets go (she understood that no was for engaing in fist-fight). So throughout all that moment there were some preocupations but nothing went out wrong (the only thing unclear was the spit however, but when i asked her she didn't say anything so... since i didn't see it maybe it didn't happen like i thought it could). We walk out in the streets and back to the building. There was a restaurant and i wanted to wash my hands there. We were leaning on a desk, and she sees that there was no gas, after reading a poster. So we go outside and to a dining hall, where there were rooms as well (it looked like the old hospital of Rio Cuarto, but with orange lights and still at night). She was about to leave to her room, but i saw that i had some alfajores de maicena (small ones) and i thought that i didn't want them but i could share half with her. So she returned, maybe to say bye, and i offered her this half-alfajor. She thanks me and eats it really liking it. We go outside (like the outside door of the University [First time i dream with the university i think] and i saw a guy eating a lot of pizza. I tell him that he doesn't have to eat it all, that sharing it could be good. Then i go outside and eat the alfajor. With that tiny piece my mouth was full, it was a lot, and very sweet. I didn't want to eat something sweet at that moment, but too late. As we walked we talked about microeconomic concepts such as "needs and wants" and how we could translate it into spanish. She told me "expectation" or something like that (actually i think she told me something else). Then i woke up.

The last dream was just like any other dream, but just it was more memorable. Also during the dream i made right choices, because i didn't hurry.
