Dream - Lucid Finally! Lucid again at last, even if it was brief...and very strange. I was in the car driving around my neighborhood. I was talking on the phone to my friend Dakota about what we're going to do tonight. I could hear ukulele music in the background. He asked me if I could let him get back to entertaining his guests, and I said sure. I got off the phone with him. I was then in my bed again. Oh, it was just a dream. I kept hearing what sounded like a local radio station that I listen to frequently. I thought maybe it wasn't a dream and that I had left the radio on in my car. Or maybe it was the radio in my room (haven't had a working radio in my room for years in waking life). This lasted for awhile as I laid in the bed with my eyes open. I thought my mom had come home at some point. Then, I was in a bedroom with Dakota. I was leaving, because his friend was coming over. When they entered the bedroom door, I left, giggling because the person who entered was Shelton, a guy who Dakota thought was an asshole. I found it funny because Shelton had once cracked very bad taste gay jokes around Dakota, who is gay. And now, it looked like Shelton was gay too. Then, I started to see colors and shapes swirling around in black space. I still was hearing that damn radio station. I then felt the familiar buzzing sensation. I knew I was about to enter a dream, so I concentrated the buzzing to my head. It came in a few short waves, and I felt myself tumbling. The dream then formed around me. I was in my bed laying on my stomach. My head was way off the pillow. I got up and counted my fingers briefly. I went out into the hallway, and there were these weird, almost modern/futuristic-looking button things coming out of the walls at random places. I'm still hearing the radio station as I try to press the buttons in, some that were located next to my brother's room. The pressure I put on them kind of hurts my hands. I then turn to my left and go towards the bonus room. I open the door, and the cushions on the couch in there are all in a neat pile on top of the couch. In the middle of the pile sat a black cat. I figured it was probably one of my family's cats, Boots. I go up and pet her head, saying hello to her. She looked up at me as I did this. She then looks out the window above the couch. The walls start to fill in around the window, until they got to her head. They slowly started to close around her head. I tried to get her out, but she was stuck. I turned around in horror and covered my eyes. I then turned back, and the cat's body was white and fluffy, like my cat, Belle. She somehow then pulled her head out of the tiny space. I then awoke into the buzzing sensations again. I was still hearing the radio station. I concentrated hard on that. A familiar song was playing, I forget what it's called, but it's by The Band Perry (I think that's how it's spelled). I felt myself tumbling again, this time almost wildly. I opened my eyes and was in bed again. I got up and counted my fingers, counting six and then seven on my left hand. I could feel that I was going to wake up soon. I tried to turn the light on in my room by flipping the switch because it was so dim, but it failed. I looked to my left, and there was my full-length mirror. I looked at my reflection. I looked relatively normal. I could feel myself about to wake up, so I decided to try to enter it. I walked up to it and pushed my way through the mirror. I then felt myself falling, the buzzing and tumbling sensations were back. I felt myself falling fast. For some reason, I thought to myself "300 miles per hour is 30 miles per hour Earth time". Weird. I then saw these flashes of what looked like still frames from Family Guy flying by. I then saw in what looked like heat vision. I saw the mirror above me, and my hands reaching up towards it as I fell through black space. Both the mirror and my hands were orange and blurred (hence why it looked like heat vision). Then, I was laying on my floor, looking at my hand. It looked like time was going backwards very fast, and my hand got smaller and smaller, morphing and twisting, until it finally looked like a baby's hand. I woke up and the radio station had stopped. It was super freakin bizarre, because for a lot of the first part of this experience, I legitimately thought I was awake, and was hearing my radio from somewhere.

Date: 09-20-10 Length: Unknown Vividness: 10/10 I was dreaming that I was in a huge house while traveling around with my girlfriend, Dakota, and her mom. It was night time, so I went to sleep. I had a dream inside my dream. In that dream, I walked into the bathroom. Everything was foggy and wet, and I could barely see anything. I realized that, since it was so foggy, this must be a dream. I did a RC to be certain, and sure enough, I was dreaming! I screamed, "YES! I'M DREAMING!". Literally a second later I went head first and jumped through the glass, and straight out the window. I forgot to stabilize my dream, so instead I began flying around. It wasn't working very well and I began falling. I flew by a mirror and when I looked in it, yet everything seemed normal. I was trying to think of things to do and thought of making a person appear, unfortunately this only caused me to wake back up in my first dream. I got up from the bed, walked to the door, and told Dakota about my lucid dream. Halfway through, however, I realized my dad (who I haven't seen in a while) is lying right there. I jumped up and hugged him and we both started crying. My friend Tema runs in and does too. Someone else says something about getting a delicious dish, called the carpaccio from my favorite sushi restaurant, Pirahna. My dream ended there. -frenchblablabla
Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] Night of May 20-21 I'm in the upstairs bedroom of a house. Built into one wall is the entrance to a long slide, which I go down. The first part of the slide is plastic, tubular, and constantly curves back and forth in random directions. After a bit, the plastic tube slide connects smoothly to another section of slide, this one made of polished, light-colored wood. The wooden portion of the slide turns through 90-degree corners in between straight runs, and it goes through a series of spacious rooms that are made of the same light wood. Later, I'm back in the upstairs bedroom again, with some other people who want to go down the slide. I describe to them what the slide is like. Night of May 21-22 I'm in the main hallway that runs through the middle of my church. There are tables lined up in the hallway, and I'm sitting behind one of them. Other people from my church are sitting behind the other tables. We're all talking to each other about the church activities we do. [This was all day residue. This dream was essentially a replay of what I had just done that day in real life at our church's spring talent festival. I count this dream as further evidence in favor of the hypothesis that dreams are produced when your brain is recording the day's experiences in long-term memory.] [I had a lucid dream in the next cycle, but I've forgotten a lot of the details. The following paragraphs contain what I do remember of that dream.] I realize I'm dreaming and think, Oh, cool. I'm dreaming. That means I can do anything I want to. I find myself in a rectangular room in which all the walls are full-length mirrors. I look at my reflection and notice that I have my long hair and bangs again [which was the hairstyle I had for most of my life until last October], and that my bangs are chopped off all unevenly, with little sections that end in different lengths. I either exercise, or just think about, two or more of the dream abilities I've already learned [I'm not really sure, because I don't remember this part very well], and then I decide to try an ability I've never tried before: changing my appearance. I close my eyes and visualize what I want my reflection in the mirror to look like when I open them: I want to see myself as an old woman, with my hair gray, but still long. I open my eyes, only to find that it didn't work. My reflection still looks the same as it did before. The thought of trying to shapeshift into some kind of animal crosses my mind, but I decide not to because no animal that I particularly want to turn into comes to mind. [Different dream, later in the night.] I'm visiting my boss's house, which is huge and very nice. My boss gives me a very kind, generous compliment about my after-school teaching. He says something along the lines of, “You're a great teacher. You treat them like people.” [“Them” meaning the students.] I'm very flattered. I go outside my boss's house. There is a small, private jet parked outside. A group of people I know and I are about to leave on a trip somewhere in the jet. Before we leave, I decide to go and use the portable restrooms that are located on the opposite side of the grassy field I'm in. One of them is a standard portable restroom, and the other is bigger and wider; it was removed from a commercial airplane, I know. [It made sense in the dream.] I can't get into either of them, though, because my mom is blocking the entrance to them. She tells me that I can't come in because P. is in the restroom right now. ------------------------------------------- Side notes: In real life, I have two jobs, each with a different boss. The boss who appeared in my dream was not the one from my after-school teaching job; he was the one from my office job. It makes sense, though, in a sideways kind of way, that Office Boss would compliment me on my teaching in a dream. Two things that I know I really, deeply want are for my teaching efforts to be appreciated and for Office Boss to like me. I think my mind just combined the two desires and had Office Boss express appreciation of my teaching. (Office Boss has seen me teach in real life, but only once.) This dream, and the one I had on March 26 about being hired for that one job (which I did not get hired for in real life, by the way), lead me to this observation: Sometimes, when you really, really want something to happen in real life, your mind will grant you your desire in a dream. Cool, my first attempt at forging. It was unsuccessful, but I'm not really surprised. I'm looking forward to continuing to work on that skill. I begin to understand why we have a thread devoted to pictures “for daily lucid inspiration.” Lucid dreaming is beginning to feel routine and unremarkable, even when I'm in a lucid dream. It felt that way in this one. My initial excitement about the phenomenon has worn off. Now I see why one would want a source of daily lucid inspiration.
Dild Today I was blown away as the true potential of lucid dreaming was revealed to me. As I rested in my bed early morning, In hopes to go back to bed and possibly have a lucid dream. As I slowly drifted in and out of dreaming, I became aware of it, and gained lucidity. Initially, this lucid dream felt like the majority of my other lucid dreams- hazy, boring, detached, possibly on the verge of waking up, more of a daydream were I have to push myself to be creative.- but then things started to change. I grounded myself, and let the lucid dream slowly sink into place. Overtime, the dream continued to gain clarity and focus. Two aspects of this dream that I had only dreamed of having (no pun intended) were also slowly becoming present: 1. A dream that keeps on creating itself. I found this interesting that I was still surrounded by huge ever-changing plot lines; normally it's like my creative dream mind detaches. 2. The world felt magical and peaceful with such vivid and inspiring colors. I have had only one lucid dream that actualy carried this feeling into the dream, all of my others have felt dull, boring, and slightly colorless This was a huge step for me, because these two aspects are what I truly love about dreams! The dream I had was roughly and hour long, so I'll just jot down some of the interesting events. Basically, I was in a house trying to ground the dream and not wake up. Now here something happened that has never happened before. I started spinning, as fast as I could, a quick close of the eyes, astounded upon opening them that I really did in fact teleport! It finally worked! Not only that, but I also manipulated my environment. I would close my eyes, count to three and then point as I opened them. I don't know why I did this, but for some reason it worked! I decided to slow down from all the dreams I'm having, and think about my dream goals, I honestly think that I completed every last one. One that I'll mention, was looking in a miror. This held a lot of significance for me, because of all of the symbolism that a miror has. I heard that mirrors can be scary, so I was interested to see what my subconscious portrayed me as. As I slowly walked towards the mirror, I saw two black and white objects slowly merge into one. It was my brothers face, with a surprised look on his face, head and eyes fixed on something above me and to my left. Really an amazing experience, and I'm trying to find significance. Like I said, I really just wanted to capture the achievements of this dream then the experience itself, which to say the least was the most successful LD I've ever had! Edit: I just realized that this is most likely due to the fact that I was on a rem rebound cycle tonight. The day before I only got an hour of sleep. It was worth it

Dream - Lucid I remember feeling myself fall back asleep this morning, and I entered a lucid dream. I felt the tumbling sensation as I entered the dream. I opened my eyes, and was in my bed. I got up and went towards my window. Everything seemed to flow really laggy for a minute, but it fixed itself. I looked out the window. My view was totally different than what it really is in waking life; I saw a road and some stores as opposed to a backyard. I decided to try to phase through the screen. It felt solid. Instead, I broke through it and flew out the window. I woke up and went back to sleep. I remember being on a boat on a river. I remember standing on the edge of the boat next to someone, and watching the water lap up the sides. Then, I remember seeing myself in a mirror. I looked pretty normal. I looked to my right and there was another mirror with my reflection. To my left, another. I was surrounded by mirrors. I then remember walking down some hallway and thinking to myself how real and vivid it all seemed. I then decided that I wanted to find out why I am the way I am (big question, I know). I found a surface to draw a portal on. I wrote "why" and drew a huge circle around it. I colored it in, as usual, and jumped through. I ended up with very little vision. I could only see something in the left corner of my vision. It looked like an upside down picture or movie. I remember thinking at first it looked Egyptian, and then I thought I had just woken up, so I just went back into the dream. I tried the portal again on wall wherever I was, and entered it again, acquiring the exact same result. Looking back, I know I didn't wake up after the portal, because I wear a sleeping mask and can't see anything when I wake up.

Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm traveling to Epcot on a highway. The highway is elevated relative to the park, which is long and narrow, and lush and green. There is a giant, inflated jack-o’-lantern in the center of the park. I’m dismayed to realize that the jack-o’-lantern has become the park’s de facto icon; it was never meant to be. [Different dream.] I'm at a summer camp somewhere. [The day before I had this dream, I'd suddenly, randomly come to the nostalgic realization that it had been a very long time since I'd been to a camp of any kind. Thanks, brain! :-) ] I arrive at a wooden pickup station (sort of like a bus stop) at 8:15 A.M. [I think], in time to get picked up by a horse-drawn, wheeled wagon. I climb up into it and sit down on one of several benches. The wagon takes me and several other campers to an Old Western town where a reenactment activity will take place. When I get there, I'm really glad I got up in time to catch the wagon, because the town is pretty cool. There are a bunch of animatronic figures that re-enact the shootout at the OK Corral. They have guns that fire styrofoam bullets, which stick to designated, smooth, flat target areas on the other animatronic figures. I move out of the way and take cover while the shootout is going on, not wanting to get hit by the bullets. When the shootout is over, a large bunch of balloons comes floating toward me. I understand that it’s to transport me back to the point where I entered the town. I take hold of the ribbons on the balloons and allow them to pick me up and float me over some buildings to another part of the town. I touch down in front of some town official, possibly the mayor or the sheriff. He asks me, “What do you think of the town?” “I think I’ll stay,” I answer. When I say this, what I mean by it is that I want to get a souvenir picture taken in period costume. There is a kiosk nearby where you can do this. I’m about to do it, but when I look at the signs on the kiosk, I see that the pictures cost $5.00 each. I don’t want to pay $5.00 for a photo, so I change my mind and turn away. [Dreamskip.] I’m floating with my bunch of balloons again [I think], heading toward a theme park with a roller coaster. I’m thinking about how theme parks are architectural works of art, and should be appreciated as such. [I waited too long to start writing this, so I don't really remember what happened between the end of that scene and the beginning of the next one, nor do I remember how or why I became lucid.] I'm in the entrance corridor of a big, fancy office building with a beautifully decorated interior. In front of me is a long wall with a door in it, and a sign next to the door indicating that these are the offices of a financial company. I know that it's a subsidiary of another company, and that it's in charge of the other company's finances. I think, Okay. I'm going to try to walk through a wall again. I start walking forward, thinking about that goal. I begin to pass through the wall, and the room on the other side becomes visible. I continue moving forward. Even when I've gone far enough that I should be all the way through, I can still see parts of the ornately-decorated wall; they linger in my vision, semi-transparent and seeming to stick with me, like the strands of a spiderweb stick to you when you walk through it. I think, Just keep going forward. They'll go away, and you'll get through. You can do it. I keep moving forward, and the last strands of the afterimage of the wall finally fall away behind me, leaving me standing in the financial offices. There's no tactile sensation this time, though, unlike in my previous lucid dream when I went through the car door; this time, I don't feel anything at all from the wall. I'm happy and proud that I've finally walked through a wall without leaving a hole in it. I wander through the financial offices a bit. There are employees of the company there, walking around, going about their everyday work. I think, I'm invisible and inaudible to them. Or, if I am visible, I just look like another employee. Somehow, I just know intuitively that one or the other of these things is true. Eventually, I end up in front of another long wall, this one made of mirrors. [I don't remember now how I got from one scene to the next.] When I find myself in front of this wall of mirrors, I think, Now that I've figured out how to walk through walls, I'd like to try out another dream ability. I wonder if I can create a portal. Remembering what I read in somebody’s DJ here on DreamViews, I use my right index finger to trace a circle on the mirror-wall. [I don't know what exactly made me pick this destination, but] In my thoughts, I pick “heaven” as the destination that I want to be on the other side of the portal. When I'm finished drawing the circle, the area inside it doesn't transform into a portal; instead, it swings inward, like a door on a hinge. I go through the doorway. The doorway is on one of the short sides of a rectangular room. The floor, walls, and ceiling of the room are all the same dark, metallic slate-gray color. At the opposite end of the room is a raised stage, also that same color, and on the stage is a smaller-than-life-size, cartoon lion. He's very definitely alive, though, and I know who he is immediately. I kneel down on the floor where I am and exclaim, “My Lord Aslan!” [Hmm. Well. That's reassuring.] [I don't really remember how I got to the next scene. I remember attempting to create another portal and finding only darkness on the other side of the circular door because I hadn't been thinking of any particular destination, but I don't remember whether that was before or after the above scene. In any case, here's the next scene that I do remember.] I'm now outside the building I was in before, walking across a grassy field. I happen to glance down at my feet and notice that I'm barefoot, and that I appear to have an unusually large number of toes, sticking out at odd angles and overlapping each other in unnatural ways, just like my fingers sometimes do when I look at them in dreams. I look down again, and this time I see that I have eight toes in a neat row on my left foot. It makes me smile to discover that toes can exhibit the same odd behavior as fingers in dreams. I'm very pleased with my achievements so far tonight, but no other ideas for new abilities to try out come to mind, and the sky and the grass are so inviting, so I decide to fly. I kick off the ground with my right foot and take off. I find myself being forced backward by some unseen, unidentified force, just as I have many times before when I've started flying. I move my fists into the position I learned from my dream dad in my previous lucid, with my left fist close to my chest and my right one further away from my body, and move them back and forth relative to each other, trying to use that new technique I'd just learned to gain control over my flying. It works. I stop feeling the unseen force, and begin flying forward. [That’s the last I remember of my dream.] I woke up and found myself still in sleep paralysis. I didn’t feel any vibrations this time, though; it just felt like my arms and legs were really heavy, and like I couldn’t move them even if I tried. I waited a few seconds before moving my arms from their position up over my head. I didn’t even remember putting them there before falling asleep. A few minutes later, the feeling goes away. ----------- Side notes: I get to check another goal off my list of lucid-dreaming goals! Yay! I really look forward to continuing to improve my intangibility skills. Now that I've more or less gotten the hang of going through things, my new big goal is to get good at defining, creating, and getting into dream environments of my choice.
I found myself in a forest. There was no sign of other life except for the vegetation. The area immediately around me had been cleared to make way for a mirror framed in silver. The frame had ornate carvings of drills and leaves on it. When I saw myself in the mirror, I had unkempt black hair. I realized I was dreaming. I had reached the forest outside Denn in the Land of Aud. I focused on what I wanted to look like and let the features morph in the mirror. The mirror’s surface started to bend toward me as my eyes turned green and my clothes turned into a black and gold robe. I had become the dream self I envisioned, Presence, and in doing so completed the first of WakingNomad’s tasks. At this point, I tried to remember another task. Surely there were more, right? I stared intently into my deep, green eyes as I struggled to recall… Nothing came to mind. I decided I would just step into the mirror and see where it went. As my body merged with the mirror, everything went black.
Falling, Jen, Mirrors Method WILD Lucidity B Vividness B Control C I was in bed, trying to fall asleep, not really trying to WILD. I start to have hallucinations and I just enjoy them for a while. Then I have that "wait, am I dreaming or awake" feeling. So I imagine myself falling through the bed. I have found this to be the most reliable method of transitioning into WILD. So, sure enough, after a few seconds, I fall through the bed. I'm falling through darkness with a few flashes of white light surrounding me. I think Hmm, what should I do? The last time I was falling in a WILD I just kept falling for like 10 minutes. I recall a recent goal: summon Jen and tell her I'm over her. Jen is my ex-girlfriend. But I'm thinking too much and not paying attention to the dream. I snap back into my bed and become conscious of my body. Time to fall again. I re-enter the dream, again falling through the bed. This time I imagine landing somewhere. After a few moments, I land inside a building. It seems like a hotel. I'm in a hallway dimly lit by lamps. An old woman is leading me through the hallway toward a room. We enter a room with impressive double doors. The room is mostly dark, lit only from the lamps in the hallway through the door. I notice a bed and an set of drawers with a modern look and bright orange paint. Strange. I turn and say goodbye as the women walks out the door. I remember I was going to summon someone. I step out into the hallway and shout to the woman: "I'm expecting a guest. Could you show her in when she arrives?" Confident that will work, I step back into the room. I try the light switch, but it doesn't work. Oh, right. Of course. I think I should just leave the doors open to let the light in. I turn to and see that the double doors are now made of glass. I catch my reflection in the glass. I try to look at it more closely, but then I see a girl walking down the hallway toward me. The girl walks in. It's not Jen. She has long black hair and is wearing black jeans and a black coat. She has an obnoxiously large purse on her arm. She is short and a bit frumpy. Her face is definitely not Jen. I smile politely and she smiles at me. Maybe I said something but I don't remember. I turn her around and gesture toward the door for her to leave. I turn away, looking around the room, as if to give the dream a chance to try again. I notice a mirror in the room and walk towards it to see my reflection. I catch a glimpse but again become aware of a girl walking into the room. The next girl is also not Jen. She is very tall with dark hair. She is wearing a dark top but only a tiny black thong for bottoms. And she has knee-high black boots. I admire her long legs for a moment, mesmerized. I snap out of it as she walks up to me and puts her arms around me. It's still not Jen. I am a bit annoyed. Then it occurs to me that this very tall woman might actually be a transvestite. Not a pleasant thought. I'm knocked out of the dream and back in my bed. I'm still in sleep paralysis so I try once more to fall through the bed. And once again I am falling. All black with flashes of white light. I think to re-enter the hotel scene. But I land in a room that's quite different. It's dark and still. Some light comes through a large window on the wall. Outside, it is raining with flashes of lightning. The room is ornately decorated. It's hard to describe. Imagine a study or library in an old castle but slightly more modern. I walk across the room and catch my reflection in the window glass from a distance. I look older. I'm dressed in a nice gray suit and I have a neatly trimmed beard. I look pretty sharp actually. Is this me in ten years? The reflection in the window flickers with the light outside so I turn to the wall where I see a mirror. I look closely but don't see much because it's dark. I look more like my usual self, with no beard. It looks like I'm wearing something over my head covering my ears like headphones. I lean in until my face is right up to the mirror. I still struggle to make out some detail. I'm not sure what I'm looking for. Then I feel that I'm being pulling to the mirror. This could be interesting, let's see where this goes. I'm pulled into a dark tunnel and seem to fly for a bit into the void. Then the dream fades and I wake up.
NON DREAM DREAM LUCID I'm sitting on the floor, next to my friend, J. We're writing stories or something. Suddenly, I notice my hand has a weird message written on it. In real life, I had written "DREAMS!" on my hand with pen, so that when I looked at it in my dream, I would notice it said something else. Well, it worked. Looking at my hand, I became lucid, because now it said something else. It still said "DREAMS!" on it, but underneath that, I saw the sentence "It's an oracle!" I performed a reality check, and sure enough, I was dreaming. J, who is still sitting next to me, suddenly becomes angry. Her face gets rounder and her eyes are further apart. She starts growling. I hardly have any time to be scared before I'm suddenly lying down in my bed. It's not a false awakening, because I still know I'm dreaming. My vision is blurred, and I slowly and blindly step out of my bed, trying to walk around. That's when I notice I'm standing on the ceiling. Weird, I think to myself, as I slowly flip around and land on the ground the right way. I will myself to have clear vision, and I do. Not knowing what to do next, I walk over to my window and look outside. It's daytime. I randomly see Leonardo DiCaprio standing there, as his character Cobb from Inception. At first I'm afraid that he's gonna try and steal my thoughts and ideas like in Inception, so I try to scare him away. I do so by making scary faces at him through the window. He slowly backs off and runs away. I almost immediately regret scaring him off because I wanted to interact with my DCs. So, I walk into the backyard and see him standing there by the bushes, towards the woods. As I begin to approach him, I am interrupted by my grandpa's friend, P, walking towards me. P is carrying my crying brother and asks me if I could help figure out what was wrong with him. I agree and take my brother, and P is gone. I ask my brother, "What's the matter?" Still crying, he says "The Xbox won't let me be Player 1!" I shrug and decided to help him, just because. Following him inside, I realize the Xbox is set up in the kitchen, and the TV is attached to the fridge. I don't know how technology works in the dream world, so I randomly press a few buttons on the controller. But it seems to work because he stops crying and runs off to go to the bathroom or something like that. I start to go back outside but remember to check my hand, just to see what else it says. It still says "DREAMS!" and "It's an oracle!", but now it also has random scrambled letters written on it, too. I step outside, and as soon as I do, my vision gets blurry again. I suddenly hear voices around me and I know I'm near people, but I can't really see them. I recognize some of them as people from school. They are frantically warning me that I've entered the 2nd dream level, the dream within a dream. They told me of how there was an explosion and everyone was in danger. Looking at the ground with my vision still blurred, I could barely make out what I guess were supposed to be fragments of blown up bomb. I kept struggling for clarity and finally achieved it. As soon as I did, I remembered how Cobb was still outside, and I feared that he'd been harmed. I shouted out, "COBB!" and ran over towards him. He was still in the same spot by the bushes, except he was lying on the ground, half dead. He looked weird. He was blue, with a bleeding face, cracked skin, and he was wearing a Native American headdress. I kept reassuring him he'd be ok, and he didn't respond. Suddenly, a group of about 3 or 4 people ran over to him (I don't know who they were) and revived him. He was fine. It was now darker outside. Randomly, my best friend H appeared next to me. We were looking on our phones for a new tuxedo for Cobb, because he was going to Vegas for vacation, apparently. H found a snazzy looking suit and showed it to me. Of course, the suit model was Eames from Inception. I agreed that it was a nice suit. H disappeared. I decided that I would once more try to change my appearance like I have in other dreams. I closed my eyes and made a mirror appear in front of me. I remember the mirror was one of those big full body mirrors, with an intricate design on the gold frame. I closed my eyes and told myself that when I opened my eyes, I would look like Zooey Deschanel, who I failed to look like in another lucid dream of mine. When I opened my eyes, the only thing that changed was my hair. Then I decided that since everything seemed to be going along with Inception, I'd try and change myself to look like Ariadne. This time, all that changed was my hair and my clothes. I even got Ariadne's little scarf she always wears. I woke up. My first thought was, "Nooooo! That dream was too short!" But as I reviewed the dream in my head, I realized I was very lucky I lucid dreamt at all, and I had an amazing lucid experience.
NON DREAM DREAM LUCID I am standing in my bedroom, and it's nighttime. I look at my bed, and notice something strange. I can't really explain it, but I see what looks like one of those colorful decorative window stickers kids make, but it was in the shape of a cartoonish old lady, and it was big. I realize I must be dreaming, because what I currently see is never usually there. I do a RC, and suddenly everything becomes vivid, because I can still breathe through my nose even though I'm pinching it shut. I'm not sure what to do, so I slowly walk out of my room and into my hallway. As I'm walking down the hall, I remember reading about how reflections look weird in the dream world. So I poke my head into my bathroom and look in the mirror. The only thing that's different is the fact that I have lots of bangs covering my face. I shrug it off and continue walking down the hallway, into my living room. I'm standing there and I decide I want to try and change my environment. I close my eyes and concentrate, telling myself that when I open my eyes, I'll be in a completely empty, solid white room. Err, I failed. I was still standing in my living room. Then, I wanted to try and change my appearance. I look in the mirror in the living room, and (probably because I had just watched Elf in real life) tried to change myself to look like Zooey Deschanel. Well, that didn't work either. I also remembered how technology usually doesn't work correctly in dreams. So I see my laptop on the table and try to turn it on. It does, but the internet isn't working and Google is wacky. That's when my brother walks out of his room, eating an apple, and keeps bothering me, trying to figure out what I'm doing on the computer. I want him to leave me alone but he keeps irritating me. Yep, he's pretty much being exactly how he is in real life, even the apple eating. Suddenly my mom walks out of her room, and yells at my brother to go back to bed because it's too early. But she doesn't seem to see me. I wake up, very happy.
March 16, 2011 Lucid Dream 200: A Safe Haven, Free of Infection Series: 108 Stars of Destiny, Episode 6 DEILD Category - Action ...I transitioned pretty smoothly back into the dream state. I was staring at a dark sky. I sat up and noticed I was laying in the middle of the street. I stood up and looked around. The buildings were all dilapidated and many windows were busted out. I figured I was in the same environment as the previous dream. I wondered if there were still zombies everywhere. I then noticed someone running toward me off in the distance. I got a weird feeling that there was something behind me, so I took flight immediately. I looked down where I was and saw about 20 zombies close in on where I was previously standing. I flew out into the distance away from the city and toward a forest. The forest was thick, but not very deep. I flew through it in seconds and landed on the other side. I was now standing in a massive field. The previously high grass was bent over, yellowed, and dying. Of into the horizon, I could see a massive smoke cloud and fire bursting into the sky. I wondered if there some sort of explosion. I began to jog across the field when I noticed a huge black cloud approaching. As it got closer, I noticed it wasn't a cloud at all. It was a huge swarm of creatures. I zoomed in my eyesight by focusing on one of the creatures and imaging that I had an optical zoom installed in my right eye. They appeared to be man-sized, infected locust. I'm not a big fan of bugs in general, so I turned and hauled ass out of the field. I took flight and flew over top of the forest and back toward the city. I could hear the buzzing of the locust approaching me from behind. I was soon swarmed by the huge locust. I managed to fight off a couple of them, but was ultimately knocked out of the air my their massive numbers. As I fell, everything went pitch black. I felt my body slam hard into the ground, and my vision slowly came back into focus. It was now night time. I was in some sort of construction area/heavy machinery junkyard. There were massive steel beams connecting piles of trash, old cars, and giant machinery. The only light was produced by small fires scattered throughout the maze-like junkyard. I heard someone approaching and I knew it meant trouble. I ducked down behind a massive I-beam, but the guy spotted me and began shooting. I stood up and walked slowly toward him. He fired his whole clip into me and I just kept walking. The bullets felt pleasant. Like a gental massage. I ripped the gun (uzi) out of the soldiers hand, put the barrel to his head, and blasted him. I noticed an Umbrella patch on the soldiers arm sleeve. I then figured I would search for Chris Redfield and try to recruit him for my dream army. I took off running through the junkyard and got in a few shooting matches with some more umbrella soldiers wearing hunk-like masks. I won these easily as I performed some nifty acrobatics. A lot of dive-shooting and some hand-to-hand combat that ended with bullets to the brain. I finally found Chris shooting at some zombies infected with las plagas. I joined him in the gun fight. We shot down a couple zombies that had the parasite sprouting from their heads. I noticed that there was a massive group of zombies approaching us. Chris motioned for me to follow and we took off running toward a Jeep. We both jumped in and took off. There were now 5 of us in the Jeep. Me, Claire Redfield, and some other guy was in the back seat. Chris and Barry Burton were in the front. I asked where we were headed and Barry told me there was a place called, "Hilltop Haven." It was apparently free of infection. I offered to fly the jeep there, but they said we were almost there. I began to imagine zombies running out onto the road. A few moments later, zombies began wandering out into the road. Chris was screaming, "Wooooo Haaaa!" and flooring it. Zombies were being pummeled by the jeep. I cheered along with them and Claire started crying. I looked at her and she said, "What has the world come to?" I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her. I told her that it would be ok. I handed her a gun from the floorboard and told her to release some frustration. She then shot the guy who was sitting next to us. I was a little shocked and she smiled and said, "He was bitten. I noticed it earlier." I thought, "Well, shit. So much for helping a guy out by finding the antidote." We arrived at a large fenced in area at the very top of a hill. The fence was a pathetic-looking chainlink fence with barbed wire on top. I laughed at the thought of a zombie hoard being thwarted by this fence. Chris must have noticed because he told me to stay away from the fence. He said it had some crazy amount of high voltage running through it. Naturally, I walked right up to the fence and touched it. Electricity sparked as i touched it and I jerked my hand away. I looked and my hand had blue electricity flowing off the end of my fingertips (like in the demonstrations). I got back in the jeep and we entered the area. We pulled up to a decent sized log cabin. Claire grabbed my hand as I exited the vehicle and we entered the cabin. I told Chris that the dream will likely be ending soon and I would like him to join my army. He accepted as long as Claire had a position in the army as well. I agreed and obtained two more Stars of Destiny. Me and Claire through the cabin which had doors separating each room. Sometimes there were two or three doors back to back that you had to open. Finally we found the master bedroom that had a giant mirror running along the wall. I looked into the mirror and noticed I had dreadlocks. I started doing jumping jacks and my reflection was lagging behind. I awoke while playing in the mirror with my slow reflection 108 Stars of Destiny NEW 9 - Chris Redfield - The Justice Star NEW 10 - Claire Redfield - The Dedication Star Series Details Welcome to the epic dream series known as, "The 108 Stars of Destiny." I have been getting interrupted sleep the past several nights. I casually decided I could use this to enter REM instantly upon closing my eyes. I did this once recently while stressed out (Night Hike on a Freeway). This might be the first dream I ever remembered in which I was aware of being asleep prior to the dreaming beginning. I saw an image emerging from the blackness. It looked almost like a small flower shaped hole in the dark. I could see a well light sepia tone scene emerging on the other side of it. -I became so excited at viewing a dream form from blackness that I woke up. I laid still. I was determined to re-enter the dream. I have never re-entered a dream to my recollection. This may not have been the same dream, but the vibe was similar. I was in the blackness, awake. A fully detailed dream location appeared. I was standing in the middle of the street looking at an old friends house I walk past on a regular basis. I lost lucidity for a moment. Then, as I watched, all these animals started to emerge from around the property. Raccoon's, cats, and then an adorable looking squirrel came hopping in my general direction. "This is a dream!" I said as soon as I saw it. (This moment is almost identical to: Super Lucid Blackbird Flying) I was thrilled. I turned around to take in the whole scene. When I looked to my left, there charging happily towards me were four large shaggy dogs: Black, White, Burgundy, and Golden. I was so shocked by the closeness - I instantly woke up. (*) Again I was laying in bed. I didn't move a muscle. This was not a feat of willpower, I was super tired. But internally determined to keep the dreams rolling. I was in the blackness awake again. I saw a distorted face emerging a few inches in front of me. All at once, a mirror appeared and I was looking into it at close range. This sounds scary, but I was lucid. I started making various expression in the mirror. I looked more handsome than in real life. My skin was perfect and my flaws were gone. (*PRECOGNITIVE*) When I woke up, I needed to pass that same house. I was planning to make it a good "reality check point." As I arrived I smiled. Looked at the house, then, I looked across the street. -My jaw dropped. Right there, about 25-35-ft ahead of where I saw them: Three medium sized dogs, black, white, golden - being walked by a 30-something woman wearing a hat. The burgundy colored dog was missing. The real dogs were medium sized not large. I don't recall ever seeing this group of dogs before, although it's possible. I usually do pay attention to the friendly animals I cross paths with in my neighborhood. In my first dream journal there was a tiny percentage of dreams that weren't quite precognitive, more like educated guesses Dream: 037 & Dream: 067. This 4-dogs dream is the first dream I'm aware of featuring: 1) So many different dogs together I don't know. 2) About 75% accurate and did occur asap almost at the exact location as in the dream. I learned over the years that dreams produce: abstractions of people, mind tricks, fake conversations, illusions, distortions, false memories, etc. I never gave precognitive dreams much serious thought. Supplements (before bed): 500mg of B5, and 200mg B6. First time trying this combination. I usually take one or the other. Generally, I've found these vitamins help with recall, but cause more shallow dreaming. This dream is consistent in general with past experiences without taking supplements.

I got this vivid dream, after my alarm sounded and I went back to sleep because I still had some time before I had to go to college. In the dream I immediately woke up again, and panicked when I saw the time. 1 pm! My class was starting right at that moment! I had to be in college and it's a 1,5 hour trip to get there. I texted some classmates I was going to be quite late. To my disbelieve, the moment I stepped out the door, rain came pouring down like a true tropical storm. I asked my dad to drive me to the train station, but he refused. At that moment I decided to stay home and call in sick. But before I could do that-after a scene I can't remember- I was suddenly outside, and the sun had already set. This last, short part is a lot more interesting, weird and vivid. I found myself outside, alone in the rain, in the dark, and I was only wearing boxers for some reason. I didn’t mind being half naked. Even though I was soaking wet, it wasn’t cold and there was no-one in sight. I ran down the street in which water was gushing down trough. After a short while I arrived at a weird looking building. It was quite modern and had a big glass wall near the entrance. From ouside you could see the big hall and some stairs along the sides. Some kids in nothing but blue plastic raincoats where walking up and down the stairs. The kids walking around at this late hour seemed to be boys around the age of 6-8. One boy in particular caught my eye. He was standing next to the door and staring right at me with his hands up against the glass. Suddenly I got cold and I decided to take shelter from the rain in the building which had already intrigued me. It had an eerie feel to it. I thought it was some kind of nursery/day-care because of all the children, but there clearly where no supervisors around. I entered the strange building which also had a sort of hospital-feel surrounding it. The place was flooded by the rain. The water was ankle-deep and the lights in the floor made it look quite pretty. The boys walking up and down the stairs didn’t pay me any attention and kept walking as if hypnotized. Only the boy by the door noticed me and kept staring. It wasn’t creepy, I was in awe of the place. It looked abandoned but still had something serene about it. I walked through the water, opened the door immediately to my right. It led to the toilet, a big bathroom with 3 stalls and a door at the other end. The place was not as well-lit as the hall, and a tiny bit creepy. The wall separating this room from the hall was made out of glass as well. I could see the boy staring at me again, trough the wall, his hands up against the glass. I turned to my right, towards the outer wall. There was a sink, with a mirror above it. At that point I remembered the reality-check technique for lucid dreaming vaguely. I started wondering if I was dreaming and looked into the mirror. I can’t remember anything weird. Aside from the fact of being half-naked in a flooded, dark day-care, I looked quite normal. The technique didn’t work. I looked away, and into the mirror again. Nothing. I looked away, to my left, for a second time. A little girl startled me. She wasn’t there a second ago, and was now standing right beside me. She looked up at me and had the weirdest of smiles. She was a bit older than the boys, probably around the age of 13-14. Unlike the boys in the hall, she was wearing normal clothes. Behind her, I could see the door at the other end of the bathroom. It was cracked open and golden light shined trough it, reflecting in the water. I turned around and noticed every child was now staring at me, not just the boy at the entrance. I got creeped out a little (though not a whole lot, considering the situation) and woke up soon after.

The beginning of this dream is only a vague impression of being with a group of lighthearted people. I was inside a two story house with a carpeted spiral stairway. I saw this one shady looking guy creep down stairs to what I knew was my bedroom. I heard a laugh track (like a sitcom). Suddenly, I felt worried he was about to steal my wallet. So I quickly headed downstairs. My room was undisturbed, I walked over to my nightstand and grabbed my wallet and keys. I turned to walk away. I noticed myself in a full length mirror mounted on the wall. I was wearing an outfit I didn't recognize. I had on a blue-gray shirt turned upside down. The fit was comfortable but in the reflection, my arms were out of the bottom end of the shirt. The short sleeves and collar were wrapped around my waist, unstressed and comfortable looking. I became embarrassed and took off my shirt, and put it back on the right way. I exited the house out the front door and crossed over a white wooden porch. It was broad daylight. Before me was a rather large amusement park looking expanse. It had walls with outcroppings and lots and building scattered between wide open grassy areas, and walled sections. (The layout is hazy - and changing.) I walked around the area and I recall interacting with a few people (this was hazy). I made my way over to a lively baseball diamond. A serious league style game was underway. (Not a huge fan of baseball but I watch now and then.) I decided to see how the game was going. A pitch was just then thrown and hit foul at my feet. I ignored it while the first basemen picked it up. A second pitch was hit foul at my feet, this time I picked it up and tossed it to the third basemen (for some reason), upsetting everyone and knocking him down flat and motionless. I zoomed over to check on him and this cartoon-like man zoomed over at the same time, beating me to the unconscious player. He jumped on top of him in a flash, and sparkles of yellow energy emitted into the air, video game style. This startled me. Something about this fast moving prankster was alarming. I sped off the field to do something different. When I was several field lengths away, the wild DC yelled out: "Catch this!" I spun around in time to see him launch the baseball at me in an arch from a great distance. As it came, it grew to the size of a football. I dodged. It crashed into a person standing nearby - utterly mowing them down with rotating white cutters. It was a pretty nasty looking way to die. I wanted to leave this chaotic character alone. I exerted great speed to loose him. (Something that works 99% of my dreams lately.) He gave chase and had no problem keeping up. (The visuals/recall get vivid at this point.) I weaved through a magical looking hallway with multiple portals in it. One had a golden force field that I easily slipped through. I thought I lost him for sure, turned around, and there he was emerging from a similar circular portal. Huge grin, about 15-ft away. I decided to walk away at this point. Running super fast zig-zags wasn't helping. I started to feel trapped. I asked him to show me the way out of this land. Now the DC looked a lot like the Madhatter. He gloated at my surrender and announced illustriously something close to the effect of: "I will gladly show the way out! But first, there is something else I would much rather show you." After the deadly baseball incident, I wasn't feeling curious. I said "No." Turned and kept walking slowly down a bizarre fun house like hallway. He said: "All right, all right. Right this way then." He turned off the main hall and opened white double doors to a suspiciously dark area... I said, "This isn't really the way out is it?" He looked at me sly and said, "You are right, but I really must show you one last thing before you go!" I said "No!" and hurriedly walked straight some more. -Then I woke up

Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm descending slowly through the levels of a house. When I realize what's happening to me and that this is a dream, I decide to stop in the third level down and explore it. I will myself to stop moving downward and to be standing on the floor, and achieve both of those desires. I begin walking through the rooms, concentrating both on the action of walking and on the scenery around me, knowing that my concentrated attention will keep the dream stable. There are some steps down into a large living room. I think, This reminds me of some of my friends' houses. Well, of course it does. That's where my mind must have picked up the images that this dream is made up of. I turn around to take in more of the room. While I'm doing so, I think, I need a mirror. When I look back at a particular section of wall a second time, a large, tall, rectangular, frameless, wall-mounted mirror has appeared there. [Cool! I guess I'm getting better at controlling the features of the dream environment.] I come up to the mirror and stick my hand into it. My hand goes right into the mirror and is obscured by silver mist, but I feel nothing at all. I still don't particularly want to try to go anywhere else that way, though, so I don't. However, on the floor to my left, I see a large, freestanding flatscreen TV [the same size and model we have in my real house], and decide to try to go through that. As I crouch down in front of it, I think briefly of a couple of specific places from my past that I would like to find on the other side of the screen. I then start going through it. I feel the screen snap when I start pushing through it, and feel the edges of its two halves dragging against my body as I climb into the TV. There's nothing inside but darkness. I ended up just waking up. [I failed to choose a single destination and truly believe that it would be there on the other side of the screen.] I went back to sleep and had another dream. I'm in a room with a bunch of computers, and someone is directing me to complete a series of questionnaires on one computer, which is on the aisle that goes down the center of the room, between the rows of tables. One of the questionnaires involves looking at frames from an animated TV show and identifying what show they're from. I recognize them as being from the Garfield and Friends TV show. From there, the dream shifts, putting me in that episode of that TV show. I'm standing right behind the protagonist, watching him/her [not sure] have a conversation with another character just outside the gate to a town. The setting appears to be a medieval fantasy story. I recognize that I'm dreaming. The conversation is finished, and the second character admits the protagonist and me through the gate. As I pass the gatekeeper character, I say to him, “It's good to see you again.” I start walking along through the open space in the center of the town, again concentrating on walking and on the scenery around me. As I walk, I cover my mouth with both hands and whisper into them, “I was actually talking to the town.” I can actually feel the warmth and moisture of my breath on my hands, which impress me with their realism. I pass by a shop building with off-white walls and a window, and go, “Oh, yeah.” I remember that I still want to try to walk through a wall. I turn to my right, walk right up to that wall and keep on walking. I can only get a little way into it. It feels like walking into a flexible, but thick, strong, and semi-solid piece of rubber. [That's the last I remember.]
