    1. I Have Super Powers!!! and the Pube Machines

      by , 07-05-2015 at 09:13 AM
      DILD #1:

I had an earlier dream where I was flying around with Dreamer at night. She was carrying me in her arms, but she was having difficulty flying because I was so heavy. I tried telling myself that I was as light as a feather, didn't work very well.

      DILD #2:

I had another dream where I was waiting for a plane to take me to perth, but I was in the United states for some reason. I didn't know when the plane was supposed to leave and then I realized I didn't have to leave for another 3 days.

I slowly realized it was a dream and wandered around the airport for awhile. I watched workers furiously trying to clean airplanes and get the luggage on board. I also stole some food from vending machines and ate it while I calmly explored.

After awhile I decided that I wanted to do some tasks. I tried to remember some but got very nervous and worried about waking up. I woke up almost immediately, remembered some tasks, then waited to deild. I was shaken awake in the dream (back at the airport) by this chubby African girl. She was quite pretty and she had a really thick accent. I thanked her and wondered if she was one of those traditional dream guides that people keep talking about. I had her follow me around because I figured that she might be helpful.

I began walking around the halls looking for a painting; I said to myself, "There will be a painting behind me!"

There was, but then I heard the African girl say in her thick accent, "There's no painting there."

The painting immediately disappeared. I walked around a corner while saying to myself, "There is a painting around that corner!"

There was, and I made it fly into my hands with telekinesis. I was staring at it when the girl pulled at my arm. I looked back at her and she had a friend with her now. I looked back at the painting and it was now a map of Europe. I was getting a bit frustrated with this naughty DC that kept messing with me. I looked away and back at the painting again and it looked like a black and white illustration of an assembled jigsaw puzzle. I figured that was good enough so I threw it on the ground and made it grow and stretch until it was big enough for me to dive into. I guess that I should also mention that this entire time the annoying girl dc was pulling at my shirt incessantly. She was QuiTe annoying! But I tried to just ignore her.

The painting was on the ground and I was ready to dive in! I got in the standard diving stance and then dove in head first, right into a hard, solid floor. I slowly got absorbed into painting as I rested there. The world was black, I figured that I must have been in the black part of the painting so I walked until it got white. I could see more black lines off in the distance. Not the most exciting experience, but I thought it made sense. I jumped out of the painting and decided that I was now in a hospital instead of an airport. The two African girls are still there following me around. I saw this blonde lady receptionist that reminded me of one of the girls from Dr. Who. I beckoned her to follow me too as I walked outside.

It was dark and wet, and there was snow gently falling all around. I saw an old friend standing out on the curb. I figured he would be a helpful dc. I asked him if he had the mysterious seeds I needed (while also reaching in my pocket to find some just in case he didn't have any). He pulled a handful of assorted seeds from out of his pocket. They looked like an array of various nuts - cashews, almonds, macademias, and pistachios. I chose the only one I didn't recognize and threw it in the dirt. I stood there, staring at the ground with my motley crew of acquired dream characters. We eagerly waited for it to grow.
Got too excited and woke up.

      DILD #3:

I was at my parents' house in Colorado. My mom was cooking a vegan feast with green chili and beans. She was telling me that I should do some things for my dad so that he would be more likely to help me out if I needed it. I got really upset and said that it wasn't right that I had to do things like that as an exchange in order to have his love and support. I think I threw a tortilla in my rage. My dad came downstairs and started talking about facts and figures, keeping everything rational and away from emotions, where it was safe. I noticed that I could draw lines on the wall with my mind and I thought for a few seconds that maybe I just had super powers. Then I realized that I was dreaming and I walked outside and started to fly. I was having trouble flying but I was still enjoying it. I woke up after a few minutes of flying around the neighborhood.

      DILD #4:

I was watching an 80s movie with Dreamer that had Brendan Fraser with long hair in it. It was about a group of hackers that were rebelling against these humanoid machines that had kidnapped another genius hacker for her brilliant programming skills. The hacker group had somehow managed to make it so that the machines couldn't see them, all except for one special machine that had the sense of smell, he could still smell them when they were near him. Brendan Fraser was running down the street from these special machines that had been built specifically to entice him. They had huge lower bodies that were covered in knotted pubes, it was supposed to attract him because that is what he was supposedly into, but it just looked ridiculous. He eluded them behind a wall when one of the machines saw me watching from a distance and she spat flames at me. I said to her, "Are you serious?" then shot flames back at her. It singed her slightly then I suddenly felt very poweful. I made all of the machine women in the area erupt in flames that were so hot that they turned to ashes.

I then walked over to a spot on the parking lot pavement and dropped a seed in the earth. A clone of myself separated from my body and walked off but the body that I was watching the dream from stayed to watch the plant grow. A long, vine-like plant grew straight up from the ground until it was about 5 feet tall. It then sprouted these bright red flower buds at the very top. I walked away to look for something inanimate to talk to and I decided that a car would be a good choice. I said to the nearest car, "HEY, how's it goin'?"

The car suddenly had eyes and a mouth but it appeared to be sleeping. I tried again, "Hello, are you awake?"

I noticed that I had a text message from some stranger that wanted to help me saying, "Hi, can I help you?"

      I responded, "Who are you?"

Then a green-haired bully came from out of nowhere and started attacking me. I threw him to the ground to subdue him then the dream ended. I tried to stay still to wait for another dream to begin.
I had a false awakening with my old friend from a previous dream and I was telling him about the lucid dream I just had and I was showing him the weird text message that interrupted me. Haha, woops.
    2. A definite dream guide, and breaking free from the nightmares of the locked house

      by , 06-30-2015 at 06:06 PM (Mouka's Mind Palace)
Lucids two nights in a row! Nice. This one started out as a regular nightmare rather than through sleep paralysis. I was watching The Lion King with my brother like we did when we were kids, and I was sitting there playing the original Pokemon on my old Game Boy. Then suddenly dad came running into the room all psychotic, laughing with a gun in his hand, and we freaked out and ran away. He chased us and caught my brother, and I heard horrible gunfire and so I ran down the hall and locked myself in a room. He was banging at the door and I was so scared and kept trying to push through the window glass, but then I noticed my hands on the glass. My fingers were all funny and I immediately recognized it as a dream and went lucid. I turned around from the window and the room was pure white, and the banging had stopped. So I left the room and found myself in another house I couldn't get out of, but this time it was all white and there was sunlight everywhere. ...but I was still locked in. In one of the rooms was a grey alien, which was a little weird, but when I walked up to it and poked it, it disappeared. Now back in the hall, I just told myself "You know, I can never find that guy when I search, so I'm just going to sit here and wait on him." So once again I was sitting on the ground in the hallway, surrounded by white and sunlight, calling out to Seru all pitiful-sounding. I heard a noise at the end of the hall, and leaned over to look, and there he was standing there looking at me and smiling. Yay, it worked! I went over to him and asked him if he could break me free from the house again, and he said yes. He flew up through the ceiling and I flew up after him, but this time I didn't just hit the ceiling instead I went right through it. Then we were up in the air and I was looking in awe at all the landscapes surrounding me. In front of us was this massive flower garden, fields and fields of all different species, it looked so rainbow-speckled, and it was so vivid I just couldn't believe it. I wanted to go down there immediately, but then he told me to look at the rest. So I looked to the right and there was a vast ocean and a beach that stretched forever, and far in the distance in front of us, past the flower fields, was a giant wall. Like the Great Wall only much higher. We landed on top of a tall fence overlooking the flowers, and out of all the different flowers, rare ones and such, this one common blue-purple pansy stood out, and I really wanted to keep it because it was so vivid but I also didn't want to ruin the field at all. I was curious about the wall so I asked him what was beyond it. He said there were mountains as far as the eye could see. Well... the call of the unknown lured me in and I wanted to go over the wall. He took off into the sky and I flew after him, towards it, buuuuttt... then my husband's alarm clock woke me up! Haha, well that's okay. I got a sweet vivid lucid dream, a dream guide, and fun places to visit next time.

    3. #93 - I remember more dreams when I'm stressed...

      by , 06-28-2015 at 01:30 AM (The Oneironaut's Odyssey)
      Black: non-dream
      Blue: non-lucid
      Red: lucid

      Dream 1 - Earthquake
I just remember a clip from a dream where I thought we were having another earthquake or something... At first I thought I felt tremors, then I thought that maybe it was an earthquake about to come, then all of a sudden the whole bloody world just started shaking violently. I think I tried ducking underneath something but I can't remember the context very well.

Dream 2 - Fresh baked bread
I bake bread from time to time to save money and because I enjoy it, it's a fairly new hobby and I made my best loaf last night.. I had a dream about cutting a piece off and then tearing it up to share around with my flatmates, they tried it and I knew it was good, but for some reason I think there was a lack of interaction and I was a bit skeptical to the realism of the dream.

Dream 3 - Fucking evil thing chasing me
The kind of fucked up dream where you just KNOW that something is after you even though you haven't seen anything... I was in a sort of combination between the chemistry labs at uni and the chemistry labs at my old high school, I was trying to get away from something and I ran into a room with an exit on each side. The doors were getting smacked on and the walls were closing in.. Like really fast.. I just knew I had to get out of there, at some point it became SUPER realistic as I kind of tapped into a semi-lucid state and decided to dispel the dream. At first I thought I had woken up and was pretty stoked, but then I wondered why I wasn't in my room O_O so I concluded that I must still be dreaming... Then I started getting chased again >_<
So now I'm back in the same room and the walls close in again, this time everything is fast-paced-super-realistic-action-like, I see a small window and run towards it pushing it open and then climbing through. I think something happens and I have to climb back inside, and everything is just chaos but super vivid.

Seems like the more stressed I am about something, the more stressful my dreams, which also helps me remember them a bit.
    4. Controlling Lucid Dreams

      by , 06-27-2015 at 09:01 PM
My experience with lucid dreaming has been a difficult one.

I was able to lucid dream as far back as I can remember (I guess around 3), but I am always unable to control them, I just realize I'm dreaming. Also, anytime I attempt to purposely induce a lucid dream, it doesn't work, but if I just go to sleep as normal, I will often have them. It's really confusing.

So, what would be a good technique to induce lucid dreaming? Most methods that I have tried, failed.

Also, does anyone have advice to better control my dream when I become lucid? Because they often go like this:

I realize I'm dreaming and think, "oh cool, I finally had a lucid dream", then things go bad (more on that in a minute), OR I'm in the middle of an extremely surreal dream and suddenly become conscious of everything being so over the top, I know I must be dreaming, and become lucid.

Now, when I say "things go bad", every time upon becoming lucid, my dream takes a turn for the worse. It will turn into a scary dream of some sort either with a psycho murderer suddenly appearing in my dream and trying to kill me, zombies chasing me, or a demonic entity attacking me.

I will repeat to myself repeatedly "this is just a dream" or "I'm in complete control" and will attempt to change the dream, but to no avail. So I end up becoming so freaked out by my dream induced "monster" and try to "wake myself up".

It's a never ending cycle that I have tried for years to break and it's beyond frustrating, so any advice on why this is happening or ways to change it will be GREATLY APPRECIATED.

      Thanks for reading.
    5. FIRE! Try to escape

      Entry 3

How long did the dream feel like: Two Days

So I am in this weird underground room, with a bunch of pipes lining the walls. It felt like I was in the underground subways-hot, cramped, stuffy. The room was quite big, like a warehouse. There is about a hundred people, all my age, or around there, working around the room. There was a metal door, that looked quite sealed-something was keeping us isolated from the outside. This is what the door looked like:
      Pet Peeves-sci_fi_door_decals_02.jpg
There was a pulsing blue light at the top of the door, and a red fire alarm to the right. The people were hustling around. They were working in a giant underground wheat and fruit field, in which I had not noticed until now. My lucidity kicked in, as I found it strange for a wheat field to be underground, in a large but stuffy room. I saw large shelves lined down the giant hall, filled with wooden crates and barrels. I turn back to look at the door and walk closer up to it. It was very small, compared to the enormous underground base. The blue light beeped whenever it blinked. It was like a ticking bomb, ready to explode. Then, all the sudden, the blue light turns red, a laser shooting right through me (which didn't hurt, it just went right through my body), and it pointed to a small hidden button on the concrete wall. I pushed it-oops.
All the sudden the fire alarm turns on, flashing red. A wailing siren echoes through the warehouse. People start running towards me, thanking me and cheering. I was so confused, to why they were cheering for me...I remember one person in particual shouting, You saved us, now w e're free! Open the door!
So, I opened the door. Quickly, the crowd went silent. An eerie feeling clouded over us. Smoke rolled in through the door--I couldn't see out of it. I hear a booming voice from one of the speakers say, "Complete the test."
"What test?" I ask out loud. I start to feel heat trickle towards me through the murky smoke of the small hallway. This was a trap-If I go through this door I will end up right in a fire, I thought to myself. But I had to do it, for some reason.
"RUN!!" A girl screams behind me, ringing through me ears. I felt a malicious presence behind us, so I listened to the girl. I had a feeling the whole group was being chased. I sprinted through the smoke, coughing and hacking, trying to look for an exit. The hallway keeps going on and on. But as soon as I thought that, we end up in another room, this time, it was a barn house. We were in the attic, the worst spot for escaping the fire. For some reason, the attic was decorated as a classroom, with desks lined in rows, pointed towards the teacher's desk. There was someone sitting at the desk, mumbling to herself. She gave off a bad vibe.
A student sitting at one of the desk's raises their hand. (By the way, there were no windows in the barn house, it was quite dark, but there was a redish glow throughout the room)
"Um, excuse me miss?" The student says.
"Don't talk! You don't have the freedom to talk!" The teacher yells at him and pushes a little button on a remote that was at her desk. I turn back to the student and he gets shocked multiple times, and soon passes out. I didn't dare cross the classroom to the other side, but the stairs were on the opposite wall, and the smoke was filling the room up more and more. I was the leader of the group, I had to do what was right. I ran as fast as I could to the stairs. I heard some of the kids getting killed back there, because of...well...anything, really-smoke, hostile people, fire...etc..
We all run down the stairs to the bottom of the barn. I could see the door, it was already opened. My eyes were trying to adjust to the dim light of dawn. I looked around the barn--there was a figure that popped out of the corner, almost scaring me right out of the dream. It looked exactly like the merman from The Cabin In The Woods. Here's a picture reference:

Creepy right? Well, anyways, it started crawling towards the group, and surprisingly, was very fast. I started scrambling towards the door in the dark, tripping on some hay, but quickly getting up again. The group was getting smaller, now only about ten people left. Now I was out through the door. I looked up at the sky--an orangy, purple, yellow sky. There was a storm kicking up, and it was so windy, I could barely hear the voices of the people shrieking in terror. I quickly glanced back to see, not a merman, but a crazy, insane serial killer. He held a chainsaw with one hand, his head tilted down, but his eyes peering at us. He was mumbling to himself as he crept closer and closer to us. By the way, the barn was way behind us, and we were now in the middle of a field (again). I looked forwards and kept on running. An old, creaky swing set appeared in the distance. I run towards it, hoping I could somehow hide there. Finally, we get to the swingset, but the serial killer catches up. I quickly turn my head and close my eyes away from him. He had sawed one of my friend's head. I just could sense it. I heard sniffling in the group, but most of it was fizzled out by the wind and rain of the raging storm.
Suddenly I get a weird flashback in the dream, of that blue ticking light on the metal door--I looked closely at the detail of the door, and realize there was a bomb attached to it. It blows up the entire facility--the base, the barn house. I look back to see the tiny house up in flames, collapsing, and hundreds of wooden planks flying off of the house, into the sky. And the funniest thing happened--right before the serial killer almost got to the rest of the group, a piece of a metal pipe crashed right down on his head, hopefully killing him. I sigh of relief, and look around. The storm had stopped. There were only three people left of the group. The swingset slowly creaked and swayed in the chilly wind. The sky had cleared, showing the sun rising on one of the sides of the meadow. It felt peaceful. Until I turned around to see the swingset and I see the serial had disappeared. I turn back, again to the the sun rise to see him standing right in front of me, grinning, holding the chainsaw that reflected in his wide black eyes.

      I wake up.
Soo this was a very random dream that I had, but whatever it was pretty cool.

    6. Apocalyptic Camp

      by , 06-18-2015 at 09:17 PM
      First entry!

I was in a city, but no one was there, just the skyscrapers and cars. I looked up to see the clear, bright blue sky, and then I looked down again to see that the scene has changed. I was in a giant grassy field, with a dark, purple ish overcast sky. It was a little windy, too. There are a lot of teenagers dressed in suits and dresses, almost like they were all going out to prom. There are these small camping huts in which people would sleep in. I felt uneasy around here. I walked around a bit, and funny enough, I saw my two best friends, (Hannah and Maria).
"Oh my god! We were looking all over for you! We finally found you!" Hannah says excitedly.
"Um...where am I, exactly?" I questioned the both of them, looking around the (what my brain was telling me) camp.
"Uh...camp..doh? Anyways...why aren't you dressed up? It's date night! I mean, unless you don't have a date...but that's another story." Maria says to me.
"I didn't know...um.." Then they both take one of my arms and pull me towards a giant tree, bigger than the Empire State Building. It was a large, old oak tree, a beautiful tree. For some reason, it reminded me of a lion. ( Maybe because it was outstanding, literally, and it was so beautiful) There were little circle windows lit with a yellow glow all around the giant tree trunk. There was a massive door at the bottom of the trunk. All around the trunk were mirrors in which the dressed up people were looking at themselves, most of which had a sad or disappointing look on their face.
"Okay, Maria, we can't wait to tell her any longer. Just let me tell her." Hannah looked at Maria, whispering, yet I could still hear her.
"I can hear you, you know." I said, still staring at the beautiful giant tree, which just happened to be standing in the middle of a giant grassy field.
"Okay, listen, this camp is really a trap. I mean, the date night is just a distraction. All of these people are going to turn into slaves if someone doesn't do something about it." Hannah whispers to me. She looks around, eyeing the camp counselors.
"But this is so random...why date night? Why a trap? What's going on?" I had a million questions to ask, even my real brain was confused of why I was having this dream.
"See that mountain?" Maria points behind me, and I turn around. Through the misty grassy field, I spot a big purple mountain, with a myriad of tiny caves in it. There were dark ominous clouds over it, too.
      I nod my head yes.
"It holds the answers to every question. The whole reason why we were forced in this camp was because there is a golden medallion at the top of that mountain, in one of the caves. Some rumors say that medallion is like a magic lamp, if you hold it, it can grant wishes. But if we let those counselors get the medallion before we do, they will all make us slaves. Why counselors you ask? I have no freaking idea. Just go with it." Maria says. In my mind I was wondering, how the heck do you know all of this, and the other kids don't?
"I overheard the counselors. Now let's go get that medallion!" Maria says in a hushed voice.
So, I just went with it. We ran away from the strange camp. Ran as fast as we could, but sneakily, so no one will notice. The knee-deep grass tickling out ankles along the long way. Gosh, this meadow was huge. Finally, somehow we made it to the bottom of the mountain. I heard the wind kicking up. I looked up to notice that the sky has turned a dark purple. Lightning flashed through the clouds.
"We need to find a cave. Quickly." Hannah turns to see the counselors running after us, hundreds of them, holding torches and guns. We sneak away through a small opening in the mountain. Suddenly the atmosphere changed-it was quiet. too quiet.
"Where the lever..." Maria feels around the cold, dark stone and finds a small hidden lever. She pulls it forwards, and suddenly a row of torches on the caev walls light on fire, illuminating the shadowed path. I look up to see a camera, looking right back at me. I jump up to the cave ceiling and rip it out of the stone, smashing it with every ounce of strength that I had.
"Wow." Maria laughed. "Okay let's keep moving.''
The scene changes to us, higher up in the mountain, climbing a large winding stone staircase that was built into the mountain. I was holding a lit torch as we crept along.
"Wait, stop. I hear something," Hannah, who was in front of the both of us, ceased in her path. I look at a corner to see a shadow figure pass by the wall.
      "Cautious." Hannah adds.
We get to the last step, surprisingly not out of breath. "We made it!" I cheered. As if on cue, the doorway that led to the staircase closed, like a portcullis. We were trapped inside a little cave room.
"Hello." An eerie voice rang around me. I turned around to see a little girl, one that you would see in those cheesy horror movies. She tilted her head like a dog, her long brown hair draping over her shallow face. "Nice seeing you here." Her voice hushed and creepy. Chills ran down my spine. The girl take one step closer to me and looks up at me. I couldn't see her face because it was always blocked by her hair. "Looking for this?" She held up a large, golden medallion. It shined in the flickering light of the torches fire. It was so shiny, I could see a flash of my own reflection. I hear one of my friend quietly gasp behind me. "You can take it." I felt her smile behind her glossy hair. Something whispered in my dream mind, "it's all yours".
"Where did you get that?" My voice wavering.
"Not important. Take it," she took another step closer. Now we were face to face. She looked as if she was getting taller and taller. In fact, she was.
"Maria.....Hannah..." I said, walking backwards. The "little" girl's hair fell back, revealing her face. It wasn't a face. It wasn't really anything at all. In fact...it was nothing. No skin, no eyes, no nothing. Nothing but a literal black void.
"How can you talk.." I whispered. The girl tilted her head the other way and walked closer to me.
"I just can." She was still holding the medallion. "Now." She paused. "Take it NOW!" She screamed into my ears, jumping in my face. She chucks the medallion at me, which, surprisingly hurt a lot. Then she grabs my t-shirt and pushes me to the floor, the void of nothingness, staring into me. I drop my torch, which burns out, making the cave completely pitch black. Maria quickly grabs it and magically lights it again. I looked around to see the girl wasn't there anymore. But my t-shirt was ripped, where her nails tore into it.
"Oh my god, we need to get out of here. Take that medallion and wish us out!"Hannah shouts at me.
"Okay! Okay!"I grab the medallion, which sends a strange sensation through my veins.
"Wait!" I hear, yet again, another voice. This time, it sounded more humanly and comforting. I turn around and see a guy, about my age. He looks quite attractive. But Maria and Hannah disappeared. He walks up to me, face to face. I could practically hear my heart throbbing.
      "Um...how..wait...what?" I nervously laughed.
"We need to get out of here. Hey, let me take that medallion. You shouldn't be holding that." He grabs my arm, the one in which I was holding the medallion.
"No, stop. I have no idea who the heck you are. And where did my friends go? Where am I? Why-" then all of the sudden he pushes me against the cave wall and looks deeply into my eyes.
"And this is taking me...where...exactly?" I ask, my breathing shallow. He looks down at my hand and grabs the medallion.
"Hey, give that back! What's wrong with you?!" I yell at him. He holds it up, so I can't reach it.
"This is for your own good, miss." He takes the strange shining medallion and throws is at the rough, cold, stone ground. It shatters. It shatters into a hundred pieces, the sound echoing throughout the cave. He looks back at me, and grins, giving me mixed emotions. He then starts shrinking, morphing into something......the girl.
      "Wait...how.." I couldn't manage to speak anymore.
"Hello again." The girl/man....whatever it was...says to me. It looks down at the shattered pieces, then back at me.
"Oops." It says, in an innocent little girl's voice.
"You...little son of a.." I shove the strange thing to the ground, and punch it in the arm.
"That's not helping, Corina. ( my real name )" The thing says in my dream mind.
"How do you know my name?" I stop and look down at it's blank, dark face/void.
"Deceptions are after you, Corina. Distractions won't help the problem. Don't let them get to you." It manages to pick up a shard of the golden medallion (even through I pinned it to the ground) and flashes in my face. I see the camp that I was just at shine into the gold. The thing takes another shard of gold and flashes it in my face. This time, the strange man appeared.
"Sometimes the unknown is not bad." The thing cups it's pale, freezing hands over my eyes. I somehow "open" my eyes again and look around my surroundings. I was in the city again, this time, with Maria and Hannah, and there were other people around us too.

    7. Themes of Horror and Annoyance

by , 06-18-2015 at 03:02 PM (Lucid Time!)
Some long elaborite dream about a football game taking place on campus. My extended family was there and my grandparents were exceptionally annoying in-dream. I also recall us having some problem with parking our cars.

I had to sneak away and help these people hide a dead body before the police found it.

I feel as though I have had this dream at least twice before today, but only recalled it this morning. The setup is always exactly the same:

I am a covert spy/assassin working for some sort of government agency. High tech gear, intense training, and an assistant that I can communicate with to help me hack doors and all that. My mission is to find and kill someone inside this lodge that appears to be in the middle of the desert. I only have a limited amount of time as my assistant is trying to convince the government not to drop an anti-mutant bomb to stop something bad from happening. This time I run out of time almost as soon as the mission starts.

"Get out of there, you're out of time!"

I haven't had a chance to even walk inside to investigate the lodge. A nuclear blast goes off in the distance and a wave of fire engulfs me and the lodge building. I am left completely unfazed but the lodge is instantly ignited. I hear people screaming as they are burned alive. I then see the slenderman standing in front of the flames in the main door of the building. For some reason, he has a really large round head.
This is what causes me to become lucid, because I know I have seen this scenario before.

I am a covert assassin so I pull my pistol off my belt and fire at him. No effect. Somehow, he gets to be right in front of me. I reach for my combat knife but it is already gone. There is a metal pole that was blasted out of the lodge laying on the ground next to me. I grab it and stab him in the chest up through the top of the head. His flesh sort of feels like putty. He does sort of reel back and go "urff" as if this is hurting him, but he grabs me in his tentacles and starts to pull me apart.

Before the dream ends, I try to say "Stop, I am not afraid of you!" but nothing audible is heard and the dream ends anyway.

By no means scared, but somewhat annoyed that I could not speak. I guess the scenario is so overblown and trying so hard to be scary that it ends up coming off as rather silly.

I considered that it could be a scenario that I am subconsciously afraid of but not aware that I am afraid of. (A short story I was working on with S explored this exact concept yesterday.) As such, I have had my fill of that theme and do not need a dream to further explore it.

I was at Busch Gardens and I walked up to this strange door and opened it. inside was some STAIRS- leading to an ELEVATOR- (dream signs) I went in and saw a dead guy with a trash bag on him. So I took the elevator to the - floor and noticed that there was NO GOING BACK. First I heard many voices calling my name. It freaked me out. Next thing I know a guy with a ski mask jumps out and scared me to death! I started backing up and bumped into a guy with a white mask! I started running and found some more stairs, opened a door, and found a couch. I went to sit down and then I heard the voices again! I observed the room trying to look for them. I heard the voices again and turned around and saw everybody involved. I felt so mad and relieved at the same time! I noticed myself turning into a fat old guy at this time. Amazing how vivid Nightmares are isn't it?
    9. Haunted School, Circus

      by , 06-11-2015 at 02:50 PM (Snehk's Dreamlands)
      First dream - nightmare

I was in school. I was in the classroom, sitting in front of the teacher - a bald man with mustache. There were other students in the classroom. I asked if I can go to the toilet, he agreed so I went out of the classroom. I was alone at the corridor, heading towards the toilet.

When I opened the door, I saw that the lights were on, but as I made one step they turned off. I closed the door and opened them again, and the situation was the same. Then I think "Is this school haunted?" Suddenly a DC janitor appears. A brunette woman in janitor suit, with glasses. She tells "This school is haunted." and goes away. She said it, like it was obvious to everyone.

I thought "Even if there's hell inside, I'll do this!" I entered the dark toilet. As I started to pee, suddenly red light started to flicker, walls and floor tiles started to crack. School trembled and the walls bleed. I finished my thing and went back to the classroom. I looked at the clock and saw that it was late evening, but then I looked at the clock again, and saw that I should go to take a bus back home.

I went to the cloakroom. There were some girls taking their stuff and going out. I came closer to my locker. It had padlock made of rolled paper. I opened it, and saw that I have loads of old, useless junk in my locker. I couldn't find my shoes. I took all the stuff and went out to a car. I looked at the driver. He was wearing gray hoodie, and he wasn't looking at the road. However, he was a great drver.

      Second dream

I was on a backstage of a circus. Someone was talking about the place. He started from talking about clowns working there - batman, a clown with black, fake mustache in bat suit; crabman, a clown with blonde mustache in crab suit; and spiderman, a clown with brown mustache in spider suit. They were running around like crazy. There were huge crowds cheering from the tribunes.

Then he told about a murder bug "Whomever may touch it, may he rest in peace.". A sad and frightening melody played in the background as he said about the bug. Then a dude looking like Eric from "Sweet 70's" TV show appeared, and show control switches of the circus.

He pointed at one and said "This is a lunch button. We choose one person from the crowd, and give it a free lunch. This week we have a special offer. If you have three nipples, you can come over to us. There's a free lunch waiting for you!"
    10. depressing dream

      by , 06-08-2015 at 08:44 AM
Wandering through a drab foggy wasteland. whites, greys, browns, stone colors. ramshackle buildings sit in cramped rows. Walls made of grungy wood and metal. torn cloth hangs from lines and sways gently in the wind. I call for *, and then I call for ~. Neither of them answer. There are people, but they are indistinct and grey, and they go about their business silently. I don't feel anything from them. No warmth, compassion, or recognition. I feel that they can hear and see me calling out, but they don't care.

I catch a glimpse of myself in the dully reflective surface of a sheet of metal, and walk closer for a better look. my expression is hopelessly sad, I look wraith-like, wearing a tattered white shapeless dress. My hair is limp and knotted. My visage fits right in with the landscape. the right eye is partially faded, so I swipe my hand across my face to bring it back.

emotional content was strong- depression, hopelessness.

I half woke up and was stuck in an inbetween state full of racing thoughts for less than a minute.

    11. The Death of My Brother (7.6.15)

      by , 06-07-2015 at 12:36 PM (CHiLLEN's Dream Journal)
      The Death of My Brother
I am with my Dad, sitting in a car. He shows me a text from my brother, which says something like ''In car wreck''. Dad goes on to say he's dead, the car is wrapped around a pole and went up in flames. I didn't believe him at first, but soon after the shock set in that he was probably telling the truth. I begin to think that I'll be the only one alive in my bloodline in the future. I start to think about the responsibilities that will be left for me as they pass, and feel it will be too much for me. The scene shifts to where an ambulance is. I see my brother on a trolley bed. There's a clear sheet over him. I have a slight feeling that he is OK, but soon realize that he had passed away. He looks a little disfigured which disturbed me. I only had a quick glance at him, so I wouldn't be too upset. Dad reassures that my brother is dead, by saying ''That's dead for ya''.

I'm now in a car with my Russ. He is in the backseat and I'm in the front. I ease into the news about my brother. I ask him if he heard the news about my brother. He says he didn't know a thing. I try telling him about it, without getting emotional. We both well up a bit as I tell him. He starts to make a list of people on his phone, to who he needs to contact about the news of my brother. I take his phone and check the list. There's quite a few people, some of who I don't know well, or at all. I step up and tell him that I will do the calling for him. I feel quite nervous about doing it.

I'm at a house playing cricket. I am the bowler, and I'm using a small bit of sliced cheese, that I have rolled up as the ball. I think I see or hear my brother in a garage. I see him and have a sigh of relief that he isn't dead. A guy that's with him was the donor that saved his life. My Dad is with me and he sprays some kind of smoke on to himself, due to the man that saved my brothers life must have been sensitive to the environment. The man was overweight.

I come running out of the garage, naked, running around the corner where I was bowling from earlier. I try and put my underwear on, and end up putting them on, inside out. I do this with the pants also.
There's guy in his 20's that's near me. I have to decide to vote for him or Redfoo to be on the next show of XFactor. I tell the man that I will vote for him. The scene changes but the scenario is the same. I'm now at my house and I'm unsure on who I want to vote for. I think I tell Redfoo that I will vote for him also. I tell everyone that I'm voting. So I raise my hand and sway them back and forth towards the guys I'm needing to vote for/against. The man is giving Redfoo props on how good of a person etc he is. I believe it's a tactic to make him come across as a genuine nice person, which would lead for people to vote for him. Redfoo isn't too confident at this point and decides to walk into my room. I end up voting for Redfoo.
I run outside into the backyard to tell the other judges what the end voting was. I tell them that Redfoo won, which is a lie. I see Ronan Keating, and he doesn't believe me.

      Side Notes
I woke up from this dream feeling pretty emotional. I was second guessing if something was going to happen to my brother, due to some of my dreams coming true in the passed. I do a bit of EFT to take the edge off.
    12. Clown Buttons and Immortal Piece of a Cat

      by , 06-06-2015 at 12:43 PM
Morning of June 6, 2015. Saturday.

Sometimes dreams are so surreal and unrelated to life and every facet of a person’s personality and thoughts and interests, it is a task to make any grounded reasonable associations. This is a good example. Nightmares are very rare for me and always seem linked to sleep apnea or my lifelong cardiac arrhythmia (which my father also had) though only problematic for a period in the 1980s, but this one comes close with the strange mood (though I still would not call it a true nightmare, as there was no residual negative emotion carried from it).

My recent vampire witch dream had a typical carryover (though it was atypically divided by more than one day) - being embarrassed about wearing clothes in public.

I am seated in a dark movie theater (while the unknown movie is showing) and realize that I am wearing clothes and thus become embarrassed since I “know” that you should not wear clothes in a movie theater, especially this particular one which is also a library. Even more frustrating, I seem to be wearing a clown outfit (with no back story on how this occurred) or at least a white shirt with dark pink pompom (or pompon) clown suit buttons that are about the size of a small fist.

I stealthily leave the movie theater with one hand each on the top two buttons to hide them. I get the impression that someone is laughing at my clothed body. However, I manage to suddenly find myself (as if by teleportation) in a different scene in a library checkout area - which is also somehow the same theater’s lobby - where my shirt seems to be normal though I still seem to be holding pompoms in my closed fists. However, they are moving. I place them on the counter and they are each a small cuttlefish, which writhe around (as if disoriented) a bit and then decide to mate. This in turn is my payment for an overdue fee regarding books I did not even check out, but I do not question it. (I think cuttlefish are metaphorical for human hands as with spiders, because both instantly make me visually associate human hands - in fact, my “Things From Outer Space” childhood dream seemed to feature more of a giant cuttlefish-like creature than an alien spider - though actually recognized in-dream as a “giant” hand with theatrical enhancements - this being the first time I have clearly made that connection even though other creatures, such as the octopus-man, were also ocean-related).

In another scene, I become aware of an annoying (stray?) cat, possibly a darker tortoiseshell. I am not sure who it belongs to. I eventually see that it is only a piece of a cat; the head and front part of the body (with two legs), yet almost flattened into a two-dimensional form (though still with perceivable volume). It cannot possibly be alive, but it somehow is. When I pick it up to check on its status, it makes strange meowing sounds and I consider that it may be just a residual muscle reflex and that the animal is not aware of anything. However, there is slight movement as it meows, but I decide it will probably not live very long so I put it in a cardboard box and into a commercial dumpster in an alley in a business district. I do not have the will or interest to “put it out of its misery”.

After this, I have a very uneasy awareness that the cat will exist like this forever (long after I am gone) and I feel a bit guilty over its immortality as such, as it goes (without any of its own intent) to places unknown (perhaps trapped beneath layers of debris and not able to do anything or to be a “proper” cat and enjoy its cathood). It is a haunted feeling, although the creature cannot move much or walk (and thus cannot threaten me). It is almost like being aware of a human mind being “trapped” in a particular time period or culture (or religion) for endless years.
    13. I'm a werewolf, run.

      by , 06-03-2015 at 12:36 PM
At my house, night time. Some guy enters and tells me he's a werewolf and that when I get back to my car (that I left quite far away) I have to run or Im dead (like if it was a game, but a f*cking scary one). He's not here anymore, so I get out running so I can escape, but as I look back at the house, all the windows are opened, so I rush inside to close them all and start panicking bacause now I don't think I have time to run away.

I think "omg, I wished this was dream!!" so I look at my hand, but I have 5 fingers.. I feel disappointed. I look at the other hand and still 5 fingers! But deep inside me I know that this must be a dream, so I look at my tattoo (that in RL says "oneironaut") and it says something like "onirenaut". I feel sooooo relieved! I start running because I don't want the werewolf to come and scare the sh*t outta me, because that might ruin my dream. Now I have to think fast, so the first thing I remember is "flying!". I take off the floor like Neo in the Matrix, because that's the only way I tried flying and it works for me. At first I don't get off the floor, but suddenly the air lifts me up and I'm waaay up there now! It's really dark and I can't really see anything (low lucidity clearly), so I only focus on the feeling of flying, instead of what I can see.

At this point I must have lost lucidity. Later I was back at the house and the werewolf was chasing me.

    14. Supernatural Djinn Attack

by , 05-28-2015 at 05:43 AM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
I'm scaling a steep cliff on the side of a mountain fortress with a large group of medieval soldiers seeking to take over the castle up ahead. It is a difficult climb, and all progress is halted as the defenders unleash a massive deluge of boiling hot oil that spashes down the cliff. Fortunately, it's steep enough that we just press ourselves flat into the rock, and the oil flows just over us all, missing us by just a few feet. Then some sort of god flies out of the castle and levitates above the stone walls as he laughs at us. He thinks it is barely worth his concern, but nevertheless throws a few fire balls at us. Several people are killed instantly.

He looks over at me, and now seems threatened somewhat. With a spin, he disappears from sight, and I am immediately teleported to a small town inside the castle walls. Somehow we breached the castle and there is utter chaos as people are running everywhere. It turns out everyone is running because there is an army of Djinns (the kind from the show 'Supernatural') - a kind of genie that puts people to sleep, fulfilling all their wishes in their dreams while draining their blood and killing them in the process. Just one is scary, but there are over a hundred here.

I am immediately surrounded by about a dozen of them. I'm not quite sure what to do about this. Before I come up with a plan, one of the female Djinns (and quite an attractive one I may add) tells the others to step aside and watch. She holds out her hand and uses telekinesis to spin my body around. I want to fight it, but just go limp as all my muscles relax. She softly lays my body on the packed dirt ground and closes my eyes all with telekinesis. This is the part where the nice dream is supposed to start. I'm given a moment to choose, but can't decide what to dream about.

The moment is gone, and there will be no pleasant dreams for me apparently. Since the Djinns are psychic, they know that I'm awake in my body, even though my eyes are closed and I cannot move it. I can still feel everything. They take delight in knowing that I'll be able to feel all the pain of being slowly drained of blood until I die, with nothing I can do about it. I feel a sharp stabbing pain as a large gauge needle is roughly stabbed into my arm.

Rather than languish in pain as I am slowly killed, I imagine that I'm someone else. Someone very alive, and experiencing blissfully pleasant feelings. I know it's not real, but I decide to believe it anyway because the more I do, the more real it becomes, and the more this excruciating painful death seems like a distant memory than a current reality.

Right before I fully switch to being someone else, I wake up.

I'm smoking weed with a few of my friends & for some reason they let a little annoying kid who rides my bus & goes to my high school smoke with us. This kid takes like 3 or 4 hits and I'm finally fed up trying to like snatch the blunt from him. My best friend Seth was sitting next to me and he was telling me to chill tf out. I said "This kid's stupid. He takes like a shit ton of hits and he's going to pass the roach." Seth is telling me "Maa-an this kid does take a lot of hits but his hits are like mouse hits." So the leader figure of the Stoner group in my dream says something like "That's one brave kid to be taking a bunch of hits of that. That's some guh-ud shit." I wanted a couple hits tho but I had one hit earlier and I was starting to feel it.

I went to class & I was no longer high. These girls started picking on me. Eventually, I hooked up with one girl named Shari. I always thought of Shari as a friend but in all honesty, she rejected me last year when I hit her up on Facebook. So anyways, we're at a restaurant and she starts talking to me and talking about getting married (moving a bit fast aren't we?) so I'm not sure if I like the idea so much. I get up from the table to just walk around and think for a second but I realize that she's like one of those movie woman where they're like bat shit and I have to do what she says or she'll kill me or cut off my penis or my hands or some other sick shit. She followed me to the water fountain (which is where I walked to ) and asked me if I'd propose one day. I obviously said yes. I woke up after another dream that I can't quite remember all the details about but in this dream I was riding my friend's dog for some reason.
