    1. LD--Moonlit Mountains

      Mini Lucid:

      I was walking at night with a group of people (no one I know from real life). We came to a place where I looked to our left, and I was the full moon shining down on this snow covered mountain range. It was so absolutely fantastically beautiful. I just stopped and looked at it for a few moments.

      I then realized that I had my camera with me. I didn't know if my camera would be able to capture the beauty of this. But I wanted to try. I took a picture and saw that it seemed to take okay. I then wanted to take more pictures, but the people from my group were now all in the way. They were spread out all over in front of me and there was no way I could get a picture without them in it. I knew I had to wait. I noticed another lady with a much nicer camera was taking pictures of it too. I wished I had a nicer camera.

      Finally, they had all moved out of the way. I lifted my camera to take a picture, but I was surprised to find that there was now a big hill in the way covering up most of the snow covered mountains. Where had that hill come from? I knew it wasn't there before when I took my first picture.

      I stood there for a moment trying to understand this, when it suddenly hit me--I'm Dreaming!

      I remember feeling proud of myself for figuring that out. And not just accepting that the hill was suddenly there.

      I decided to fly over the hill so I could get a better view of the mountain. In fact, I wanted to fly to the mountains. The moonlight was still shining so magically on them. I just had to be there.

      So I took off flying toward the full moon over the mountains.

      But not long into the flight toward the moonlit mountains, I could feel my dream fading.

    2. LD--Flying to the Clouds

      Okay, I am up in the night because I just had a lucid dream. Its unusual to have an LD this early in the night. I probably had it between 12:00 and 1:00.

      And it was one of those dreams where as soon as I woke up, I thought, Oh crap, how am I going to remember all that I just did? And I think that I am still half asleep, becuase I don''t seem to be typing my best right now.

      So here is my attempt at putting it all back together again.

      Lucid Dream:

      I believe somewhere in the beginning of the dream I had been talking to other dream characters about the goal to become lucid. We had talked about if we became lucid we would soar up to the clouds because the clouds were looking very beautiful.

      Then somewhere in here I realize that I am dreaming. I am briefly tempted to look for an Easter Bunny. But I am still pulled by the dream I was just having.

      I decided to go find my friend and take her with me soaring up to the clouds.

      It gets fuzzy here. I believe I found my friend and am soaring with her. Then I feel myself wake up. But instead I find myself still in the dream but on the ground. So I fly back up to the clouds with my friend again. I belive this pattern happens a few times.

      I am wondering how lucid I actually was by the end of this dream. I am going to say that I was lucid, but I wasn't really controling anything. I just really wanted to be flying though those clouds, so I went with the flow.

      By the end I had two friends with me. The sky had turned more into the ocean. There were still clouds, but there were also jelly fish floating all around us. Lots of them--in some places there were huge clusters of them. They weren't the stinging kind other wise we would have been in trouble because we had to keep pushing out way through the clusters.

      There were times in the dream wehre I was so surrounded by clouds that I almost started to feel claustraphobic. I had to have my friends hold my hands so we wouldn't get separated. Because there was no visibility. The clouds felt like I would imagine real clouds to feel--a little damp and "thick".

      Also at one point we cleared the top of the clouds and came out into the yellow moon light. I remember being just in awe of what I was seeing. It was so beautiful.




      It's not even 1:30 yet. I don't have to get up for almost five more hours, so I will try to focus on having another LD tonight. This time I will think Tree.
    3. Baby Mammoth and Flying Above the Clouds in the Moonlight

      Lucid Dream!

      I read out of my Lucid Dreaming book about MILD before I went to bed-- and this is the dream I got.

      The dream started out nightmarish. I was becoming aware that this huge monster/creature was getting into my room at night. I never saw it, but I could see from evidence it left that it had been there. It was really starting to freak me out to the point where I no longer wanted to go to sleep. The thought of something so big being just a few feet away while I was completely asleep made me feel so vulnerable. I couldn't believe that I wouldn't wake up with it there. I am normally not that deep of a sleeper.

      The scene jumps and I am climbing a very big tree with Jeff. We suddenly see men that look like hunters in down in the next field and decide that they are the ones we need to talk to to see if they know anything about a huge creature that may be in this area and if they have any idea of what to do to keep it out of my room at night.

      It takes a while to get down from the tree. I hadn't thought I had climbed that high.

      Jeff started talking to the men. I noticed that one of the men looked just like Jeff. It seemed so odd, that I missed the entire conversation.

      Then scene changed again and I am with my sister in my bedroom. I had slept through the night, but my sister had seen something. She saw a huge unidentifiable shape, but it had dropped something in the trash and toilet before it left. I looked in the trash and saw what looked like tiny mammoth bones. Like a small mammoth fetus that hadn't grown properly. The bones were all soft and the consistancy of gummy worms. I realized that this was a wonderful clue. The mystery monster was really a mammoth! But how was it getting in my room.

      The next night I was determined to stay awake to find out. As I sat in bed I could see the opened bathroom door. Suddenly I saw a shape coming out of the toilet. So that's how it was getting into my room!. I watched as it grew bigger and bigger as it came through the toilet. It didn't grow full sized. It was a baby mammoth...only about two and a half feet high and three feet long. It didn't look real. It looked like a sketchy drawing.

      As I was watching it I suddenly started thinking, "This is just a little too weird for me...a mammoth coming out of my toilet...and being all sketchy.....Could this possibly be a dream??" I needed to find out so I said, "Okay, Baby Mammoth, if this is a dream, will you come fly with me?"

      Next thing I know is that the mammoth and I are both circling in the air. And I laughed out loud and said, "I knew it. This whole thing was just too weird. Yes! I am finally Lucid again!!"

      I circled my room a little more and decided to just fly through my wall. I end up bumping against it. I decided that that is no big deal--I'll just go out the front door. I flew down the hall and to the front door. I opened it and flew outside. It was early moring. I said to myself, "Early morning...just like it is in real life." [Note: it was actually 2:15 am].

      I flew down the street and passed a lady. She points to this man's car that is filled with junk and make s a comment about it. I remember commenting back, "Yeah, he is very unreliable,"..and then flew on.

      I flew toward the school. I was flying quite slow and had trouble getting very high. Instead of flying "Superman" style, I was flying "swimming" style--breast stroke to be exact. I was going about as fast as I would be if I were actually swimming...or maybe a little faster. But even though I was a little frustrated, I thought to myself that at least I was moving and if I was patient I would get to where I wanted to be.

      The street slooped down into a hill. This would be a good chance for me to get some height. I just flew straight while the street sloped steeply down.

      By the time I got to the school, I was quite a bit in the air above it. I looked up. It was no longer morning, but night. The light of a very full moon shown on a layer of clouds overhead. I wanted to go up and through those clouds. They looked so magical, so I started flying upward. I finally got to the clouds and started to go through them. They were very thick clouds and I started to feel a little claustophobic. So I told myself that I needed to create an air bubble around me. So I did. It was a very interesting feeling to be surrounded by that thick cloud. Finally I broke though to the top of the cloud.

      I looked around. The cloud stretched out forever and glowed in the moonlight. It was beautiful. I wanted to lay down on the cloud and rest and just take it all in. But at this point I could feel the dream fade and I woke up.


      Edit:

      I want to point a couple of things out.

      1. I woke up in the night at about 2:15 with the dog barking. I suddenly realized that I really wanted to recall all of my dreams of the night, so I searched my brain for dreams and was disappointed to find none. I told myself again as I drifted off that I was going to realize I was dreaming in the next dream I had. And it seems to have worked.

      2. Also when I woke up the clock said 2:36...so the dream was actually quite short in spite of it seeming to go on for days within the dream. Every dream I have ever timed has surprised me how little time they actually take in real life.

      3. Also I wasn't as lucid as I wished I had been. I never really thought about much and really just went with the flow. The flying was really nice and magical, but I never once thought about trying to complete a task. I never thought about my sister's book, or about looking at my hands or making CB appear.... . So I am considering this a somewhat low-level lucid. But it was still very satisfying to awaken from and realize what I had done.



      I actually had two other dreams last night. One was quite vague. I remember something about flying indoors in this great big place. I was flying up to reach something. There were two guys watching me, and it made me feel uncomfortable. I wasn't sure how they would react to my ability to fly.

      The last dream was quite perverted, so I am reluctant to say much. So I won't.

      Edit 2:

      I keep remembering things. When I woke up from my LD I had a false awakening. I remember talking to Jeff about my LD. But then he started reprimanding me. Telling me that I had talked in my sleep and that I had given away important secrets. I asked him to tell me what I had said. As he told me I wrote them down on a can on coconut milk. The one thing I remember was the phrase "Within three months time...". Apparently there was something very significant about that.




    4. The Little Moon and a WILD

      I'm in some sort of underwater vehicle with others, exploring in the ocean. I remember something about a shipwreck or magic or some sort of danger.

      I'm at an apartment complex. I'm discovering great music, and I don't understand the words. It's in Latin or something. I'm trying to weigh myself. I fiddle with the scale to try to get it to work. Someone comes in. I hide behind the shower curtain, using the mirror to make sure I'm hidden, but it's just A.

      Some security guard types are mixing a vat of candy stuff with a pretzel stick. It's deadly? They're feeding it to the seniors. Old guy above my apartment climbs down a trapdoor to the first floor and sees people moving outside. He starts to figure out what's going on and throws a fit.

      I'm in a rocket, flying dangerously. I land on a strange tiny moon. There is lots of greenery, but one section is wilted and black. It seems evil and scary. There is a path with sprinklers on one side. I attempt to walk past without getting wet and fail. The king/mother/god of all sprinklers is at the end. I get very wet.

      I turn the corner. There is a very localized bit of rain. I walk through it, and something presses against me from both sides, scrubbing, cleaning. It's like a car wash. Next up is polishing. I manage to dodge past that.

      Turning the next corner, I'm back in the apartment complex corridor. I go in and find the old guy and someone else lying on their backs on the floor. They won't wake up. I try to open their eyes. I'm panicking. Their eyes won't open.

      After waking, I read a bit and then decided to attempt a WILD. I think I wrote the various bits down in the wrong order, but I've got no idea what the right order is.

      Fragmented experiences with vivid imagery. I see rotating vistas. I experience sleep paralysis sensations, breaking through into dream without being able to move or having no body.

      I'm walking around my old house wrapped in a blanket, but when I look in the hall mirror, I see a shady, indistinct figure wrapped in a blanket whose only distinguishable feature is two bright blue points of light for eyes.

      I'm in a department store, but I'm incorporeal, apparently. No one can see or hear me. I decide to become a fantasy character named Simon. I draw my sword. Apparently, I'm not invisible anymore, as everyone is frightened, running and crying out. I put the sword away and walk outside the store. There is a girl with long, straight, blond hair.

      I hear a female voice talking about my death, as if it would be an experiment (on the world). She wonders if I am ready for "suicide counseling."


      I remember something about a cliff, falling, a brief glimpse of my grieving mother, and a scene taking place in a bathroom.
    5. Long LD (Trick-or-Treating, World of Warcraft, Asking DCs questions, Kissing)

      Long LD from two nights ago:

      Ed called me and told me to look at the Moon outside. I went out onto my oorch. I was at my old home in LA. I saw the full moon. It was very large. I then was what looked like a satelite passing the moon. It then sped up and brightened up until it looked like a fireball. I thanked Ed for hainvg me go out to see that.

      Then I was in my kitchen. Several family members were there. There was a hole on the floor and water was leaking in. Ed was there. Marie asked him about the army.

      We then went back out to the porch and my telescope was there. We pointed it at the moon and looked at it. I was amazed by all the detail I could see. I could even see red streaks on the rock which made the moon look like it was made from sandstone.

      Something about this seemed odd. I wondered if this was a dream. But I knew that this was real. This was way too real to be a dream. But at the same time I decided to jump up in the air like I would in a dream because it seemed like a funny thing to do.

      Well, I jumped and hovered a sec. It wasn't much, but I thought about it. I knew that in real life I wouldn't hover for even a second.

      Suddenly I knew without a doubt that I was dreaming. I flew up in the air over my old neighborhood. It felt amazing. I noticed that I could feel the wind and the coolness of the night air and the feeling in my stomach of going up and down.

      I wanted to go even faster, but strugged, like I usually do. I focused on rockets coming out of my feet, and I felt like I was going faster, but nothing around me moved much faster.

      I then remembered that I needed to do a Task of the Month. One Task was to go Trick-or Treating. I landed back down in my neighborhood where I Trick or Treated as a child. I seemed really big, like my neighborhood was made out of dollhouses. But I leaned close to a house and rang the doorbell. Someone opened the door and I said "Trick-or-Treat!" They put something in a bag I was holding. I didn't see it, but I knew it was a tootsie roll. I went to another house. This time the person saw me and ran away screaming. I went to another house, and they gave me another toosie roll. The person in the fourth house ran away again. I laughed and knew that they were programmed to do that.


      I then looked around. Things around me looked like a World of Warcraft setting. I saw these kittens all around me in various places. I thought, "Oh, that's for the new quest. If I had accepted the quest the kittens would be all sparkley." I wished I was on the quest so I could collect the kittens.

      I floated up in the air again and came to a boardwalk. I landed. I saw a good looking guy and decided to kiss him. I didn't even bother to say anything to him first. I just pulled him to me and kissed him. After the kiss, he looked at me with a surprised, but not unhappy look. Then as if to get in the spirit of things, he then pulled an older lady to him and kissed her. After that kiss he looked at me to make a face, like "that wasn't really a good idea. I should have just kissed you again." So I asked him to kiss me again. but for some reason he started talking about "okra" and we never did kiss again.

      I then decided to talk to some dream characters. I saw a bar next to me. I went up to the counter and saw the bartender. He was about 55 with graying hair and he was very tall and had a beer belly and stubble on his face.

      I leaned toward him across the counter and asked him the first thing that came to mind, "Am I dreaming?"

      "Yes." He answered.

      "How do you know?" I asked.

      I can't remember what he said, but he started going off on all this scientific stuff. It really surprised me to get this from a bartender. I then asked him something else that I no longer remember. This time he said, "Ask Nurse May." And he pointed to a lady standing next to him.

      I leaned to her and said, "Hey, Nurse-- I mean, hi May..." And then I asked her if I was dreaming.

      "Yes." she answered, and I am pretty sure she went off on a complicated explanation why she knew that.

      I then asked, "What do you see when you look at me?"

      She said some word that I didn't understand, "Ethano..."----something.

      I then turned to someone else by me and asked then to look up that word for me since I was unfamiliar with it. They read me the definition...."one who is ruled by the hourglass."


      Hmmm...that was odd.

      Then the dream started to fade. I looked over to the bartender again and also at my hands and willed the dream to come back to full clarity. It seemed to do so.

      Then I was back in the World of Warcraft setting. Around me were frogs. I knew the quest was to chase the frogs. But I remember somehow my sister Susan was there. I didn't want to do the quest anymore. I wanted to talk to my sister, who was dead. But then I knew that I could do both. So I said, "Self, go chase the frogs while I talk to Susan." And I saw myself go running after the frogs. And I started talking to Susan.


      And that is all I remember. I am pretty sure that there were a couple of other parts of the dream that I don't remember.

    6. Its better to be warm...

      Alright well first of all its been a while heheh. but just last night i had some really vivid dreams that i actually remember pretty well. But im only gonna put down two because they're the most interesting and make the most sense heheh.

      Dream #1 : Broken Hearted No Minder
      This dream starts off at what I think was a grocery store, when it introduces me to the main character which happens to be this tired, kinda scruffy guy in his mid twenties im guessing. He had messy but cute brown hair, a little bit of stubble, and was actually quite good looking. He had a look of "i dont give a f*** about anything" writen all over him. But anyways as he's going through this grocery store he runs into and old friend; something gave me the feeling that it was an exgirlfriend. That he was terribly in love with but they ended up breaking up for some reason and left him broken hearted and in the condition he's in now. She's happy to see him and acts like they were just old friends and had no real connection. They pretended like nothing really happen. He was silent pretty much the whole time. In fact I dont remember him saying anything at all. But he deicides to help her shop and carry some heavy things for her. But shes not alone, she is accompanied by what i believe was a new boyfriend or some guy that was interested in her but hes pretty much this dweeby loser and isnt much of a help when he tries to carry heavy things too. The next thing i remember is them walking out to her car and put the groceries away in her trunk. Im assuming the other guy is already in the car while they were putting things away. As she puts away the cart, the guy comes across a scratch/dent in the car which i think was from some special night or something when they were still together. He stands there and messes with it really sort of meloncholy until she comes back. When she notices him looking at it she looks hurt. The guy shoves himself away from the car and with out a word starts walking away and back toward his house. The girl i can tell feels really bad and wants to say goodbye and give him a hug. But he doesnt look back at all and just keeps going. Then it flashes to him in a small, messy, dim apartment where he undresses into just his boxers and a tshirt and settles down on the couch with a dead look on his face as he turns on his crappy tv. Then the dream sort of just fades out. But i do know that he stays there a couple of days and doesnt see the girl again for a week but thats all i remember before the dream ends.


      Dream #2: In the light
      This dream starts with a group of richer people on a ship, its pretty much all women as i recall. Our main character this time is a young woman about 17. She has an over protective, pretty crazy mother. This girl was raised to be obidiant and proper without faulter and just be the perfect young woman. But what she really wants is freedom and to find love. I know there was a lot more detail to this dream, something about a curse and being left to freeze in the waters below but I really cant remember them. I think I had two versions of the dream but im gonna stick to the one that makes more sense and is easier for me to recall. So anyways one night this when theres some party going on on the ship and theres actually guys on bored. The girl happens to find this spanish boy and ends up doing the dirty with him later that night. Which unfortunatley the crazy mother hears right below her feet. I cant remember all that happens afterwards but i think the boy is thrown into the water and the girl is yelled at and whatnot. But all I really remember that happens next is the mother and the daughter sitting and looking at the moon. The mother wrapped a blanket around the girl to keep her warm and keeps and arm around her. The girl is broken and silent. Then the mother says "See, It is better to be warm than in the light..." its that quote that i remember the most. It repeated a couple of times and got me thinking before the dream fades out. It was really quite painful... thats what vibe i really got from this dream.

      And thats pretty much it, now that i look at it they're kind of similar in vibe and such. The quote is kinda confusing and doesnt really make sense but somehow i get it......

    7. Jack The Ripper

      I'm walking through streets in poor conditions. I'm in London in Victorian times.
      I have a light behind me, maybe the moon? I only see my outline, surrounded by white fog, semi-thick.
      I see the tiles (large stones of the sidewalk) it reflects the light of the moon because of moisture from the night.
      In the background I can hear Big Ben – the clock, but I do not know what time it is.
      I keep walking. In the street the only thing that´s heard are my steps, the rest is silent and deserted.
      I find a home. The only details that catches my eye is the window of the house and the wall of the same.
      The window is one that "leaves" from the wall. It's big (it´s like those windows that on the inside of the house you can sit and put pillows on).
      The frames are dark brown.
      I look at the front door, the wood of the door is rough and yellow-brown.
      I knock at the door.
      D opens the door . Behind the door (I don’t get in, but I can see the wall behind the door) is a storage with hanging bags of spices.
      D looks at me and says in a neutral tone of voice: "- Jack the Ripper"
      I raise my hands to the level of my eyes and I see them completely covered in blood.

    10. end

      I am a white lion-man with tawny markings on my body standing on a corner of the Temple of Nothing on the Moon. I look to the horizon. A massive wave approaches, a great tsunami, and crashes over the wall of my city, and floods it. People run out, and fly through the roofs of buildings. Raven appears.

      "Nomad? What the hell is going on?"

      I look at her sadly.

      "You can make it stop!"

      I shake my head no, and dive into the raging surf, transforming into a merman. Raven follows me, transforming into a mermaid.

      "Nomad! Wake up! What's wrong with you?"

      "We can only go with the flow. The end is here."

      A volcano bursts up from the ocean floor. We fly through the water, and into the sky, and further out into space. The Green Moon grows suddenly, and the land cracks and separates. Water gushes out of the earth, and covers the low places. The entire planetoid is in complete chaos.

      Everything is dying, everything is being made new. I scream, and morph into a butterfly-centipede larva, then a cocoon, then I break out of it with a burst of energy. "I ask the Black Sun to endarken me!" I shout. The Black Suns inside Urth, the Green Moon and the Grey Moon shoot dark energy into me, and I allow it to wash over me. I let it fuse with my entire being, and every energy type I can feel until I am in complete balance.

      Raven and I fly back down to Planet Moon. It's beautiful. There are huge freshwater oceans teeming with life, and floating islands on the water and in the sky. Creatures are evolving.

    11. Another Sign from the Sky?

      It was night time. I was at somebody's house. I didn't know them. They were crying and mourning.

      They were outside and I was there trying to comfort them.

      I looked up to the moon. It fizzled, turned blood pink, and little beads of pink light arose from the center and aligned themselves in a circle around the moon.


      I looked online, when I woke up, to see if I could identify that symbol anywhere but I didn't have much luck. I saw a picture of it on one of the charts, but there wasn't any explanation of it.

      I was surprised to see such a symbol in the sky. In the dream I knew that it was giving me guidance towards something, that I had a greater purpose in this dream.

      I was going back inside the house when I noticed that the moon had gotten exponentially closer to the Earth. The Moon now filled up the greater majority of the sky. I had never seen such a majestic view of it. I could see every crater in ridiculous vividness.

      I decided to just sit there and stay awhile.

    12. Chichen Itza Riding on Ice + Puffin?!

      I woke up around 5 AM to attempt a WILD. My HH was extremely weird! I heard marbles rolling around, and I could see feet floating by me.
      Anyway here is my dream:


      I was looking up at Chichen Itza. I stabilized the dream. Chichen Itza seemed oddly big, too big. I looked around and figured out I was really small. I touched my nose and imagined myself becoming bigger. Everything looked normal now.

      I made a box appear and grabbed a bright orange top hat out of it, and put it on. I saw something on the ground and went to grab it, it looked like a Harry Potter wand. I pointed it to the sky and imagined the beacon coming out of it and shooting into the sky, right above the pyramid.

      There was a huge flash, and I could see green colors floating above the pyramid. Good enough. It was dark out, but not too dark. It seemed like night was going to rush over the sky any minute, but it didn't.

      I decided to go to the top of Chichen Itza, and look for anybody else. There on the stairs was that same girl that dropped the baby in my other dream.

      She had a dark green hoodie on, lightish brown hair, and blue eyes. "Puffin? Is that you?" I said. She looked up at me, excited.

      "Your dreaming!"
      "Really?" She looked around, excited.
      "Yes. It's Mancon Puffin!"
      "Wow.." she exclaimed.


      Suddenly she looked a bit alarmed.


      "There's something I have to show you grab my arm! Oh my gosh, this is so cool! Grab my arm!"
      I grabbed her arm, and she looked really concentrated. There was a white flash, and we were standing under a cliff.

      The cliff was really tall, and made of rock, some parts covered in dark green moss.

      In front of us was water with huge waves. You could see the cliff reflected in the water, with the reflection of the mossy parts, standing out the most.

      We were standing on a sandy beach, with some crabs walking around. It seemed like there would be a storm coming soon.

      "Is this really a shared dream?" she asked me.
      "I don't know, if it is it is my first one! What do you want to do?" I asked her.

      We both shot off at the same time into the air. A frosty blue ice trail shot behind us. We did cool tricks, and kept going higher and higher. Everything got foggy.

      "Let's try to make it to the moon!" I told her.
      "Okay!" I heard a faint reply.

      I shot up until I could hear my board cracking. No worries! I remembered I can just fly. I jumped off my ice board and flew straight at the moon. I landed, and dust flew up everywhere.

      I looked around.
      "Puffin?" I asked.
      She was no where in site. I flew all the way around the moon looking for her, no Puffin!

    13. Shared Dreaming Attempt #13 - Mancon's Dream

      Mancon's Dream

      I woke up around 5 AM to attempt a WILD. My HH was extremely weird! I heard marbles rolling around, and I could see feet floating by me.
      Anyway here is my dream:

      I was looking up at Chichen Itza. I stabilized the dream. Chichen Itza seemed oddly big, too big. I looked around and figured out I was really small. I touched my nose and imagined myself becoming bigger. Everything looked normal now.

      I made a box appear and grabbed a bright orange top hat out of it, and put it on. I saw something on the ground and went to grab it, it looked like a Harry Potter wand. I pointed it to the sky and imagined the beacon coming out of it and shooting into the sky, right above the pyramid.

      There was a huge flash, and I could see green colors floating above the pyramid. Good enough. It was dark out, but not too dark. It seemed like night was going to rush over the sky any minute, but it didn't.

      I decided to go to the top of Chichen Itza, and look for anybody else. There on the stairs was that same girl that dropped the baby in my other dream.

      She had a dark green hoodie on, lightish brown hair, and blue eyes. "Puffin? Is that you?" I said. She looked up at me, excited.

      "Your dreaming!"
      "Really?" She looked around, excited.
      "Yes. It's Mancon Puffin!"
      "Wow.." she exclaimed.


      Suddenly she looked a bit alarmed.


      "There's something I have to show you grab my arm! Oh my gosh, this is so cool! Grab my arm!"
      I grabbed her arm, and she looked really concentrated. There was a white flash, and we were standing under a cliff.

      The cliff was really tall, and made of rock, some parts covered in dark green moss.

      In front of us was water with huge waves. You could see the cliff reflected in the water, with the reflection of the mossy parts, standing out the most.

      We were standing on a sandy beach, with some crabs walking around. It seemed like there would be a storm coming soon.

      "Is this really a shared dream?" she asked me.
      "I don't know, if it is it is my first one! What do you want to do?" I asked her.
      "I read your skating on ice dream, and though it was really cool! We NEED to do that!"

      Five-Star Dreams

      Type: DILD.

      A nice, detailed lucid that has to be one of my longest ones ever! I didn't do anything too epic in this dream except for a cool slow-motion sequence and a whole lot of observations, just to get back into the swing of things (I didn't want to try teleporting in this one, and unfortunately, I totally forgot about having a shared dream with members of the IOSDP).

      I was in a room that was about fifteen by ten feet; it had tan-colored brick walls and dark, faded hardwood flooring. I'm surprised I could find a picture that depicts close to what the room looked like! It looked like the one on the right; I have adjusted the colors and saturation to how it appeared in the dream. It was darkly lit by one yellow lightbulb in the center of the varnished concrete ceiling, hanging from a short but twisted cord. The glow of pale yellow light was steady and unabated but it was still pretty dark. In the middle of one of the shorter walls was a normal, closed wooden door that was painted white. Against the opposite wall, and again right in the middle, there was a double bed. It had a metal frame with one rounded metal piece for a headboard, and reminded me of a crib. On top was a soft, plush white bedspread that was thicker than a duvet. Room in a psych hospital, perhaps?

      I was lying on this bed, on my stomach with my head turned over to the right. There was no pillow; I was just resting on top of the bedspread with my head in the covers. Then, I suddenly felt extremely relaxed and almost felt like I was going to fall right through the bed - sleep paralysis. However, in the dream, I regarded sleep paralysis as a terrifying, mental abnormality that shouldn't happen to anyone. I sensed an unknown figure made of black smoke walk over to my bedside and stick a small, very thin needle into my arm, right where I'd receive a shot at the doctor's.

      I freaked out; my breathing became erratic and fast, which was very realistic for being in a dream. The episode ended shortly after, when the needle was removed from my arm. I burst out from the bed and ran to the door; I recall the hardwood floor being extremely smooth, without any spaces between the boards or indents. I opened the door to a whole other section of building. This wasn't an insane asylum or anything, but a house that was positioned right next to my school! I had emerged from the room with the bed, into a short, wider hallway which opened up into a central area. This was the second floor. There was a set of crappy-looking, broken stairs going up to a single-room third floor, and a set at the end of the room that went down to the first floor. They looked like they disappeared into the wall, though, because there wasn't enough room for the staircase to change directions. Below is the basic layout of the floor, along with a shaded section for the third floor above it.


      The whole place was lit normally. The floor had nice, lighter hardwood and some accent rugs here and there, all rectangular in shape. Although the stairs leading up to the third floor (closed off by a metal door at the top of these stairs) were broken and cracking, and the set going to the first floor were concrete and didn't match the rest of the floor, the place had a warm atmosphere. I felt welcomed. However, I had to tell someone about what I just experienced while lying on the bed.

      There were many people in the open room here; one person was at a round table made of polished wood, like you'd see in a small kitchen. There was also a group of six or seven people clustered around two windows on the far wall. They were large and slightly rectangular (horizontally) in shape, and if you were to look outside, you'd see the parking lot for my school, and the school off to the left. The house and school were connected. Outside, it was dark. Nighttime. The door on the wall adjacent to the two windows led to a relatively large bathroom.

      Among the cluster of people, I saw a rather grizzled man with pale peach skin that had almost a grey tone to it.

      "Hey," I said, slightly desperate and afraid.

      He turned around to face me and walked over to where I was standing. I knew this man was very kind and didn't think for one time that he was weird or off-putting, although in a real life situation, I may have avoided him.

      I started to talk. "I..."

      Midway through my sentence, I suddenly became aware. "Whoa... holy crap. Am I dreaming?" I asked, stupefied and excited. I did a nose-plug reality check to confirm this, and my lucidity went up a bit more. For fun, I looked at the man, using dream control to make him answer the way I wanted him to.

      "Am I really dreaming?" I asked, and he answered, throwing his arms up. "Yes!" he said excitedly.

      "Awesome! ...Awesome!" I exclaimed and almost ran off without stabilizing or doing any thinking. I stopped myself and started to reason out what I'd do in this dream. "Maybe I should try and get to an airport." But then, I thought the better of it and decided to save that for a time when I was a bit more lucid, and maybe when I was in a brighter location. After all, it was nighttime outside, and in the past I've had difficulties teleporting to daytime areas when I was in a dark area.

      "Stabilization. See how long the dream will last if I do lots of stabilization." I thought for a moment. "The bathroom," I then said, chuckling. "There'll be lots of stuff in there!"

      I forgot all about the people, simply skipping past them and feeling how weird gravity felt. It didn't feel like I was being pulled down to the floor quite as much, but I wasn't floating at all; I simply felt a bit less heavy. The door to the bathroom was open, so I just pushed it open more and walked inside. The floor was pretty gross - it was made of colorful yellow tiles, each probably only two or three inches across, with dust in the grout between each of them. There were pale stains along the floor from water, or something. I really didn't want to know. Altogether, the room was a good 10x10 feet, with a long, single white bathtub on the right that had a long, white clear shower curtain to match. The curtain was half-open. The walls of the bathroom were beige and also had very faint stains, which I guessed were from water. In front of me, at the end of the room was a sink. The left wall, adjacent to the one that had the sink in front of it, had the toilet against it. The toilet was the cleanest thing in the bathroom, but I didn't notice an opening to the siphon or plumbing. It just looked like a big, toilet-shaped bowl (ignore the irony there).

      I walked to the sink. Above it was a mirror, which was probably double the width of the sink with a fancy gold rim around it; this rim was a bit rusty and lightly scratched in some patches. I looked into it and saw myself - I looked as normal as I could have; I thought it was maybe just a trick of the dream and when I were to wake up, I'd realize I looked totally off, but upon closer observation, nothing changed. I looked like I did in real life, with the exception of my hair. It was slightly shorter than it should've been. I took my attention away from my face and looked past it to the rest of the room; I saw the door behind me, and the toilet on the... right? What?

      I raised my eyebrow and turned around. The room had gotten smaller; now it was the side of a normal small bathroom. The toilet was now on the right of the sink instead of the left, and the room was half as long and wide as it was before. The door was mere feet away from me; I'm guessing about six or seven.

      "Cool."

      I then expected a shelf to be on the left wall. Turning to the left, I saw a thinner, rectangular white plank of wood coming out from the wall. On it were toiletries; I remember seeing Colgate toothpaste and a toothbrush, along with a men's electric razor. I picked up the toothpaste and it felt like a rock; the white and red tube didn't seem squeezable so I just put it in my right hand and rolled it around for a few moments. I ran my left hand against the wall and felt small bumps, like tiny pieces of grit and stones had been trapped behind the wallpaper. It tickled my hand so I took it off, and then I dropped the toothpaste. I then decided to get (slightly) creative and lick the wall. I did this and it didn't taste like anything. I then knelt down and licked the floor, figuring there was no harm in doing it, no matter how nasty it may have been. The floor didn't taste like anything either. I moved my tongue around and said "bleh". Getting up, laughing as I did, I then smelled the air. I picked up a trace of sandpaper, but that was it.

      After sticking my nose out to smell the air, I rubbed my hands together and looked at them. I counted six fingers on my left hand, but it looked like it only had five, so I counted them again. It was a bit of a mind-bleep. My right hand was very weird; it had five fingers but my thumb was missing the middle segment; it just had the base part and the end where the fingernail was! Yuck! I was able to move it like normal after I stopped looking at it, though, as if it was back to the way it should've been. Finally, I stopped to hear any sounds I could pick up on. I heard very quiet, muffled windchimes, but although the sound was distant, it felt like it was coming from all around me. The sound was quiet enough not to bother me though, and it seemed to stop once I started heading back to the open door of the bathroom. I was now in the main room again, and the lighting had changed - all the lights were off, and the only source of light was from the moon outside, coming in through the windows. It was rather pretty, but...

      "Wow..." I said, a bit frustrated. "There is no way I'm going to change this to daytime." I walked to one of the two windows; more specifically the one on the right, closest to the wooden table, and looked through the glass. It was surprisingly clear. I saw the parking lot, but it was two stories down. I also noticed there were no longer any people around in the room.

      I shrugged and rested my hand on the glass, gradually pushing harder on it until the whole piece of glass just fell down onto the ground. I then stepped up onto the windowpane, first with my right foot and then my left, and pushed off, jumping into the air. I didn't float at all for once, and simply fell back down really quickly like what would happen in real life, then landed on the asphalt with a low-pitched thud that almost sounded like breaking glass. I then looked to the left; in the moonlit darkness I saw the large front entrance to my school, so I began walking towards it.

      Halfway there, I stopped to look up at the sky and I saw the moon, which was in a relatively normal location. Looking up even further, almost so that I didn't see anything on the ground anymore, I saw some tiny stars that were almost faded away completely. There were a few turquoise-colored streaks of clouds, which were also hard to spot. Most of them were near where the moon was. I didn't see a lot of details on the face of the moon itself; it was really just a white circle with some very light gray blots on it. I put my finger in front of the moon and dragged it downwards, towards the earth. I expected the sun to come up in turn, and for the entire sky to get brighter. However, even though the moon moved with my finger, the sun didn't come up and only a patch of sky above the school got brighter. Then again, I'd never been very good at changing the sky.

      "Brighten the sky," I shouted commandingly. Nothing happened.

      "Whatever, be that way," I said in the tone a parent would say to an unruly child, and waved my hand off towards the sky. I walked to the school and when I got there, I opened the furthest left of four wide doors that each consisted of only a metal frame and a big pane of glass. The door wasn't locked, but it would've been in waking life. I walked into the atrium, which was the main area of the school that spanned upwards for three stories, and led to, essentially, all the different classrooms.


      The main section of the school, right when you walk in, consists of a large, long atrium with a triangular glass roof, which allows for much light to enter the school, making it fairly airy and bright. Classrooms are on the left and right of this atrium, and near the entrance there's a large set of stairs on the right, just before the classrooms begin. The main tones in the building include light beige, light eggshell blue tiles, and accents of paler turquoise, such as on the window frames and stair handles.

      The place was actually lit very well; I looked up through the glass roof and saw the dark night sky, but didn't care, so long as I could see inside the building, which was bright. I passively traveled down the atrium and saw many different people walking around, but I didn't recognize anyone in particular. However, since I knew that I couldn't get to an airport and create an amazing chase scenario from here, immediately I decided that I just wanted to raise hell in this dream, by any means necessary. At this point, I'm not even sure if I cared whether I woke up or not. This dream was already longer than the majority of my other lucids, and I knew this.

      I crossed my arms and stood in the middle of the area for a couple moments. I wanted to fight and bring a whole mass of bad guys down on me.

      My gaze then flicked to the side as I imagined (without actually hearing anything) a twig snapping outside the school entrance. I breathed out quickly, acting like I'd been surprised, and then widened my eyes as I heard a group of men entering the atrium behind me, through the glass doors I'd just gone through. I spun around and, without visualization at all, saw that they were wearing dark gray and black S.W.A.T. outfits.

      "Man, I'm sick of these S.W.A.T. teams," I said, out of character for a moment and just complaining about the dream.

      "Oh well," I then said in a lighter tone. Back in character again, I saw a man in the middle hold a gun up to eye level and shuffle a few steps towards me. The gun he was holding looked like it was made entirely of lightweight metal, almost exactly like the one on the left. He was aiming for me and before I could do anything dream control-wise, he shot at me. I jumped up and curved backwards, just in time as the slower-than-normal bullet whizzed right underneath me. My jumping movement was fast, but as I arced backwards it became slow motion, which was an amazing sensation. I wasn't paying attention to the man who shot me anymore, and was simply taking note of how when I tried to move my arms, it would be like moving through a viscous liquid. I didn't try to move my legs, which felt like they were numb and floating. The slow-motion sequence ended in about ten seconds and instead of continuing to curl backwards and end with a backflip, I kicked my legs from in front of me to underneath me, and I landed upright.

      I looked at the men and raised my chin, daring them to shoot again,
      but the dream faded.

    15. Inverted Waves sometime last year

      This dream was exhilarating.

      Found myself in a square room of a tower castle. It was filled with water about 4' deep and there were random strange DC scattered around. I was close to one corner near a slim stone window with an arched top. Outside I could see the night sky and a bright full moon and a wisp of clouds. Looking back into the room the water was beginning to ripple out from the center and I noticed that there was a circular opening in the roof. We started to swim around in the water. Oddly though the floor was made of stone it was very soft.
      Soon a spiraling vortex of water began to descend from the opening in the ceiling. One man stood near the center as the spiral connected with the water in the room and allowed the vortex to lift him through the roof. By now the waves were getting big and cresting but something was strange about the waves. Instead of crashing over like they they do on the beach they were inverted. (If you took a side view of the waves then you would see that the air would be in the shape of the cresting wave and the water would be shaped like air normally would be.)
      In effect, when a reached me it would swirl me under and around. it was a feeling almost like flying and being blown around by the wind.

      I now have a goal to reproduce these waves in a lucid dream.
