    1. Musical Guards and other dreams

      by , 06-13-2011 at 04:09 PM
      *Recovered from 6-13-11*

Sorry it's been a while; my computer was broken.

      1. I was part of a small group that was supposed to infiltrate the enemy base. It was situated in a snowy forest It was in a sort of pit, such that only the top four or five feet popped out over the snow, and to get to it you had to slide down this steep slope that would be hard to escape from if you wanted to retreat. We crawled close to the base, to see how they were guarding it. There were about five guards on every side, except for the back, which had no guards. I crawled around to the back, and then, with my back to the wall, moved left until I got to the corner. I peeked around to get a close look at the guards. They wore white and grey helmets with matching vests, and black boots. All five of them were holding cellos. I darted around the corner and started fighting the closest guard (they were all standing shoulder to shoulder, looking straight forward). I grabbed his cello so he couldn't whack me with it, and for a second we just pulled it back and forth, then I grabbed his bow and started using it as a sword, and he started using his cello as a giant club. I smashed his cello, and at this point the other guards were beginning to notice the fight, so they all gathered around me, trying to whack me with the cellos. However, they were too close to be able to whack effectively, and instead all broke each other's instruments. Suddenly a trumpet sounded from behind me (I was facing the wall at this point), and a bright yellow and green light illuminated the wall. I broke away from the guards and rolled backwards toward the hill, since there was no way I could take all five of the guards, even if they didn't have weapons. I was lying against the hill, watching them come towards me and feeling afraid, when I started to hear sounds of fighting from behind me and also from the front side of the building. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw someone from my team emerge from the forest and come riding down the hill on a llama. He came down the hill that was associated with the front, but all the way to one side, so that he could charge down my corridor. He was galloping closer, and so the guards that were coming for me got distracted, preparing to deal with him. I took the opportunity to scramble up the hill, intending to investigate the yellow and green lights which had been getting brighter. When I got out of the pit, I saw a giant grey spaceship landing in the middle of a battle which was taking place on a large snowy plain in front of me. I thought, "who are these people... are they with us or are they another group of attackers?" I didn't think that they were on our side because a big attack wasn't part of the plan, so I decided that we had to finish the mission quickly. I turned around and looked down the hill. The llama guy was retreating around the back of the building. Several guards were lying on the ground, but by this time more guards were coming out of the base, so a bunch of them were coming from the front to chase Mr. Llama. I took a grenade from my belt and threw it down the hill, trying to throw it a little ahead of the guards so that it would land by the time they got to it. It exploded in a bright yellow flash, that's the last thing I remember.

      2. I was sitting at a piano, and I played a nice chord: C, C#, D#, F#, A. I was very pleased by the sound, and I started thinking of my cat.

      3. I was at college and I ran into a girl who goes to my school, whose name I don't know, and we just kind of looked at each other and didn't say anything, but we were communicating without speaking. It's kind of hard to recreate the conversation since it didn't really have any words, but I will try. She showed me the concept of music, as if to say, "You're musical, aren't you?" In response I sent something from Don Giovanni to her, then a duet from Saariaho's opera L'Amour de Loin (which I just watched yesterday). She gave a sort of half-smile, like she was glad to know that her intuition was correct, but she was still waiting for something. I showed her a picture of her playing Chopin on an upright piano (I have heard her play Chopin irl), along with a feeling of admiration, but the admiration had a sort of flavor of, "will you play for me?" So she started walking across campus to where the pianos are, and I was following her, sending her Stockhausen and Messiaen music along the way, which gave us a feeling of a thick blanket and a cat.

    2. June 3, 2011 and June 4, 2011

      by , 06-05-2011 at 05:47 PM
      June 3, 2011:
I'm in a restaurant, and it is a $13.95 brunch buffet. However, I don't see the buffet. French toast is put on my plate and on Lucas' (kid I used to babysit) plate at this small corner booth (i.e. two sides of the booth are cushion, and the other two have adjacent chairs). I am apparently a vampire or something. The waitress, who has bright red hair, keeps pouring me tons of drinks. I guzzle apple juice, cranberry juice, and even try an apple-milk syrup (which tasted very strange - I wouldn't suggest trying it yourself). I actually want some food, but I never get any.

I somehow know that I am the villain, and I head to the washroom of the restaurant (which resembles the Seewald's - tiny, and when you open the door, the sink and toilet are right there). I open the door, and Ms. Cameron is just on her way out. I apologize and go to wash my hands. As I do so, a girl comes my way. However, I'm not quite sure what happens next.

Then, I am outside the restaurant in a dirt road parking lot. I am with a Japanese guy, and we're having a conversation. I tell him how I tried to learn Japanese, but both the characters and the oral language overwhelmed me, so I tried to learn just the oral, but couldn't find the time. He is understanding. He says a word that sounds like "Haki" and I mistake it for "Houki." We appear in a car that he is driving. I'm not sure if he is trying to get out of the parking lot or not, since he keeps backing up. The entrance is very twist turny and has a loop in the middle of it for turning around, but he isn't using it.

I appear by [road] heading towards the harbour. I am on a bicycle and am biking down towards the lake with Eugene. When we get there, the water and sky are all grey. In the distance, there are dark clouds that are billowing. Sometimes, they explode and grow in size. And they are coming towards my city. I know that it signifies something bad.

      June 4, 2011:
I am not sure the order of these events. Some of them definitely come before / after each other, but I cannot place them all. It was difficult to describe.

I am with John at school, in the cafeteria, and we are working on a project of sorts. We are sitting really close together, and our legs interwine. At one point, he leans over and kisses me on the neck, and then on the lips.

At one point, I am in a field which is mostly rocky. The farmer wants to plant certain crops that we (John and I?) do not want him to plant because the soil is so poor. I see a bunch of flowers and start picking them, and this woman I somehow know (from before?) tells me that she wins the bet because I said (apparently) that I would never pick one of those flowers. She sounds smug, as though she has tricked me.

From somewhere, I see a labrytinth. Charlie's character is able to go through guys that most people can't see. His can also pick up objects (like cardboard boxes) and wear them. I see this action from almost a bird's eye view. (Imagine someone sitting on the wall, peering down below). At one point, my character acquires a mirror, which accomplishes the same task. She walks into a room that is empty save for... something. She runs out and ends up in the mall, although it is very dark and almost decorated for Halloween, it seems. One person has an arm that looks skeletal and twisted. It looks like it has a mind of its own, for it keeps moving and trying to grab me. Its holder eventually drops it on the ground. I try to walk away, but I notice it. I feel like it's calling me to pick it up.

At another point, I was calling out the names of songs as they came up on the radio, much to the shock of a random lady. I do not remember what else happened. I do remember that one of the songs was "Kill the Lights" by Britney Spears.

    3. Petpet Park and Newport Beach (Night of May 28-29)

by , 05-31-2011 at 06:45 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm in an old, dusty, dark shop with gray-brown, wooden walls, a high ceiling, and lots of rows of wooden shelves. Mr. H. [my first music teacher] is there. When I see him, I tell him that I'm glad to see that he's still around and still active.

There is a sign hanging from the ceiling above a passageway that leads to another room. The sign points the way to different departments of the store. I walk through the passageway into another, larger area of the shop. This area is the grocery store. A large family with a bunch of kids is grocery shopping there. I hear one of the members of the family mention that they only ever buy produce from Ralphs [a grocery store chain in my area], so they won't be buying any here.

[The dream shifts, and] I'm playing Petpet Park. I'm controlling my usual player character from a third-person perspective, just like in real life, yet my computer isn't part of the dream; the world of the game is the world of the dream, and I'm controlling my character using only my will. [That was pretty awesome, especially for a non-lucid.] I'm walking around a spooky, Halloweeny-themed area [that looks nothing like any of the ones that exist on the real site]. I'm inside an old building. While there, I set off a quest by causing a penguin non-player character to start walking forward from his spot next to the wall. He's off on his way to make a potion. This event is the first in a quest series that is accessible to non-paying members as well as paying members. I spend some Nickcash to get into a small room off to the side.

I decide not to go through a narrow doorway into an area where I could start some other quests. Then, the spooky atmosphere of the area starts to scare me, and I decide I want to get out of there. After getting outdoors,
I decide to try to fly to Celestial City. [Celestial City is another in-game area with a more beautiful, peaceful mood. In the real game, player characters cannot fly. I think the fact that it occurred to me to try to reach another in-game area by flying indicates that I was gradually beginning to realize that I was dreaming, and not playing the actual game.] I fly away from the ground [or rather, my player character does; the dream is still in third-person point of view], deliberately playing the Celestial City background music in my mind. I close my eyes [somewhere around here, the dream shifted into first-person point of view] and open them again, trying to make it daytime, instead of nighttime. It works for a few seconds, but the sky quickly darkens to night again.

[The dream shifts again, and] I'm watching a scene from a movie involving a flyover view of an airport. I can easily identify the shooting location as Ontario International Airport because of the view of the mountains rising behind the airport buildings. In terms of design, the buildings resemble the old buildings that were all there was to the airport back when I was a little kid. They're bigger than the old ones, though, and in the same position as the new buildings, although they're not as long as the new buildings.

[Dreamskip.] I find myself flying over L.A. and the ocean. I am now definitely lucid. I can feel my pulse pounding in my head. I strongly suspect that the sensation is coming from my real body, but I choose to ignore that thought and focus my attention firmly on the dream. I use the moving-my-fists-together-or-apart technique I've described in previous entries to control my flight.

I'm driving along Pacific Coast Highway. I decide I want to drive to Newport Beach. I know I've succeeded when I pass a motel that has a sign on it that says “Newport Beach.” I also pass another, two-story motel that has water slides built right into the front of it.

When I get to the street that leads down to the beach, I turn left, then peel off to the right to follow the road that leads down from the mesa and over to the beach.
[This road exists in real life. The motels do not, as far as I know.] Since I've met my goal of driving to the beach, I think, I am awesome!

    4. three dreams.

by , 05-23-2011 at 02:57 AM (a teahouse inside my head.)
No dreams from friday night on account of the fact that I don't even remember what I did while I was awake friday night.

Last night I remember three not-so-detailed dreams
1: I was adopting a neopet from someone, but the pet was two socks that had been made out of seaweed. When I was adopting the pet the water conditions were not right (read: pH and temperature) so the pet didn't evolve correctly, but I happened to like the messed up one better.

2: I was going to some event in downtown LA and so I was staying in a hotel there. I was really excited because then I could go to Little Tokyo and get yummy japanese food. There were a bunch of details about my excursions that I remembered, but then I fell back asleep and couldn't remember them.

3: I was talking to this girl on a facebook inbox. We usually recommend indie music to each other. She sent me a message saying "You should check out Taylor Swift and Eminem". It was weird because that is the opposite of the music we usually send, + obviously, being a teenager, I know who they are already.
    5. listening to CDs with friend

      by , 05-22-2011 at 12:53 PM
      Good morning, everybody.

      Dream #1

I was with my old friend R in "his bedroom," which looked more like a college dorm. I sat on the floor. The carpet was red. The room was small. The walls seemed to be covered in shelves full of books and CDs. There may have been pieces of fabric hanging from the walls and ceiling, with some kind of hippie designs. To my right I could possibly see a small doorway leading to a bathroom and a kitchen.

R was standing by the door, like he had come to the apartment just now. We were listening to some new music which he wanted me to hear. It might not have sounded very interesting to me. But at one point there was an electric sound that R pointed out as sounding like the high, spooky notes in a David Bowie song.

I agreed with R, but I couldn't remember the name of the David Bowie song. But I couldn't let it go. It was one of my favorite songs, so I needed to remember it. Suddenly I had one of the images in my head, the pinkish, electric image of the clown walking in the barren landscape. That helped me. I said, "Ashes to Ashes!"

R thought that was correct. But just to check he said he would turn on his David Bowie CD to see. We were now over at a niche in the wall which held another shelf, on which was a kind of big, old, clunky looking CD player, surrounded by tons of CDs. I still sat on the floor, now in front of something like a red table.

R took a CD case for a double-CD album. The case was paper and all white, with fancy, silver cursive on the front. The CD was apparently something like a best of David Bowie collection.

R played the CD. But where he had started the CD, possibly right in the middle of the album, a Japanese song started playing. R asked who this was. I told him it was Mr. Children, and that they were really good. But I may have stood up and changed to the next song. I wanted to get away from the Mr. Children song, possibly because I didn't feel like we had time to listen to it. I really wanted to hear the David Bowie song.
    6. The island of earthquakes

      The island of earthquakes (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in a vacation island. This dream occurred during day, and the sun was very bright.I was going to the beach when suddenly I felt a few series of small earthquakes. I was worried they meant the big one was coming.

I though it was a good idea to evacuate the island. Some people was running up and down very confused. I could see also how new small earthquakes were happening as well as small tsunamis. My wife was also there, freaking out as well. I decided to find a chopper or something to get out of the island. I got to a beach where no one was but a few sand fishes that were extremely poisonous. I watched to not step on one.

I was able to find an exit that lead me to a roman town. I could find people from my home town who new me. There was some sort of line to go inside a tour cave.

We entered. The tour happened on a small boat. The cave was completely dark. I could hear the water drops and the quietness of the cave. Suddenly, I heard the sound of shamans playing different wooded instruments, but I could not see them. I felt it could assist me on inducing trance.
    7. Musical experience

      by , 05-14-2011 at 08:40 PM
Well this morning a few minutes before waking up I had a dream I was at my college, and all of the buildings, interior and exterior, had been renovated and were very fancy, it made me feel like I was at Harvard or something. I was walking inside one building and I had a friend with me who I don't know in real life. He wanted help with his homework but he said he had to go the the bathroom, so he went in the men's room and I waited outside in this really lavish hallway that connected to a large lobby with a crowd of people. Set up at the entrance to the lobby was a band of three individuals, one on the drums, one on guitar, and one on the violin. The violinist was in my calculus class in real life that I just completed this spring, 2011.

When I first saw the band, they were in the middle of playing the song "Cyanide" by Metallica, and the violinist was tearing away at the guitar solo in the song. It was so awesome to hear that solo being played on a violin. He was really getting into it, and everyone in the crowd loved it, including myself of course.

Then after the first violinist concluded another guy from my calculus class picked up a violin and fumbled around with it. I think he dropped it once. He started playing but I don't remember what song it was and it wasn't any good anyways...

After the performance the first musician who played the epic solo was sitting on a couch in the lobby and I went over and told him how awesome his violin solo was. He made a gesture of victory while saying "yes!!!". I asked him if his band had an album for sale, and he said "Yeah barnes and noble has our CD on sale 50% off". So I said "Sweet, I guess I'll have to look into it!"

      Then I woke up

I was at my friend Graham's house, except it was way different looking.
I was talking to his mom, Jane, about a computer game that I was playing, except it had to do with questions about my sex life somehow.
She commented on how my bones were not strong enough and that I should drink more milk.

I had a false awakening into another dream where I was in my room with an alarm clock playing the Hip-Hop radio station 103.3 on my desk.
I reached upwards and turned on the stereo on my drawers too.

    9. Lucid Dream 224: The Best Kind of Slushie

Lucid Dream 224: The Best Kind of Slushie
      Series: Sexcapades, Episode 7
      DILD
      around 3:00pm

I was sitting in my living room and I thought that I saw a vacant chair move on its own. I stared at it for a moment and determined that my eyes were playing tricks on me. I stood up and out of the corner of my eye, I saw the chair slide out of my vision. I quickly turned my head and saw the chair sliding down the hallway. I freaked out a little and thought I was being haunted. I heard a dog barking outside of my front door. I turned around and saw a black demon-like dog. I took off running for my gun. I grabbed it, turned, and shot the dog between the eyes as it was leaping toward me. The dog crumbled at my feet. I thought, "Wait a second...a bullet can't kill a demon-dog." I kicked the dead dog a few times, but it didn't move. I thought about the events that had just occurred and suspected I was dreaming. I performed a nose pinch RC to confirm.

Several more demon dogs had entered the house, but I ignored them. I dove headfirst through the sliding glass door and took flight. I flew over a couple mountains and picked up some massive speed. I found myself flying over a highway. No matter which direction I flew, I couldn't get away from the highway. Knowing I wasn't going to make it anywhere, I decided to get some help from a DC. I landed beside the road, stuck out my thumb, and began hitchhiking. The first vehicle that passed just stared at me and never slowed. I wanted to attack him, but I decided not to. Another car approached and I could see them slowing down. It was an SUV. They stopped and the passenger opened the door. It was an older lady in her 50s and the driver appeared to be her husband. She told me to get in the front seat with her. I jumped in and said, "You guys are on your way to the party aren't you?" The nodded and the woman immediately began unzipping my pants. I figured, "F*** it," and I let the older lady suck me dry. During this I had a false awakening.

I woke up in the back seat of my car. I immediately knew I was still dreaming and was surprised at the strange location for my false awakening. I melted through the front windshield and took flight. I flew for a bit until I saw a lake below. I put my arms tight to my side and began to free fall. I landed beside the lake and noticed that there were college students partying all around the lake. There was a large building off to the side of the lake. I entered the building and found myself in a gymnasium. There seemed to be some sort of fencing competition going on. I walked through the gym and exited the other side into a hallway. A random DC walked up to me and said, "Hey Zack! You were going to get a slushie weren't you?" I was a bit taken back, but I said, "Sure..." I then followed this DC to the slushie stand.

Once we got there I decided to make it interesting. I'm not sure what the DC ordered, but I stepped to the counter and said, "I would like the Psilocybin Slushie." The girl at the counter made my slushie with grounded up shrooms. It was red and I immediately began drinking it. It tasted like a normal slushie. I followed the DC and we arrived at a set of bleachers. I sat down and finished off my slushie. A few moments later I started tripping balls. Everything around me looked like th movie waking life. I could hear the tune of "Nuthin But a G Thang" playing inside my head. It felt like my head was actually a music box and my ear was slowly rotating around like the handle (of a music box).

There was an attractive chick in a cheerleader outfit sitting in front of me. I placed my hands on her shoulders and she leaned back against me. I bent my head down and began kissing her and rubbing her thighs. I ran my hand up her skirt and began rubbing on her. She started moaning a little and then started singing a strange song about cocks. I can no longer remember the words, but it was quite amusing. I unzipped my pants, and she sat on me. I awoke from the dream as I was pounding her from the bottom, reverse cowboy style.

      Series Details
Class is thrown out the window in the dream series, "Sexcapades." Not unlike your favorite porn video, I unleash my inner "Ron Jeremy" and give those DCs what they are looking for ! Stay tuned for more entries to the series!

      WAKING LIFE DREAMING LUCID
BOLD IF IT FEELS PARTICULARLY SIGNIFICANT

      From 4/24/11

I woke with Drown by Stuart Davis playing in my mind.
Only remembered that I had changed my mind about something and shifted my body with that change.

This was the song looping in my noggin.

      Vividity: 8/10

Today, I had my first lucid dream.

I had just been in another dream and was in a dark, mysterious room thinking about it.
I was slowly walking towards a huge glass window, which took up the entire wall opposite to me.

Suddenly I began thinking, "Hey wait.. What if this is a dream.
I should reality check". So I plugged my nose and and did an RC.
I could breathe!.. However, my dream consciousness believed this was normal..
So I was not yet lucid.

All of a sudden, I realized something was strange.
I looked out the huge glass window and EVERYTHING was underwater!
All these amazing colors, lights and calming ripples!
Across from me was a hotel building, built on the sand of the ocean floor.

This is when I realized I was dreaming.

As soon I became lucid, a faint, peaceful song was playing in the background.
After a few days of searching, I found it is almost identical to the first few seconds of the song "Lisa Miskovsky - Still Alive".

I was way too excited, and things began to become hazy.
Things were swirling very fast, and I was losing the dream.
I tried rubbing my hands together to attempt to stabilize the dream, but when I opened my eyes, I was looking at the ceiling of my room..

    12. Late for Work, and Two False Awakenings

by , 04-25-2011 at 03:29 PM (The Lab Notebook)
I'm going to work at an elementary school [neither of the ones I work at in reality]. I have to go back out to my car to get something. There are other people out in the large, flat parking lot. When I finally head into the building, it's already 3:00, a full hour later than I was supposed to start working. I'm mad at myself because the fact that I got started late means that I can't count that first hour (2:00 – 3:00) toward my total number of AmeriCorps service hours. [LOL! No, no, brain, that was my last teaching job.]

I can hear the faint, muffled sound of repetitious, vaguely pop-sounding music playing from somewhere nearby. I realize that I've woken up in my bed. [Not really.] I'm still tired and decide to stay in bed.

I wake up again in a slightly different room. [Again, not really.] This time, I take my throw pillow and pull it over my head. [Yeah. I fail at catching false awakenings. :/]

I was at my junior school and it felt like my best friend had died. I turned my phone on loudspeaker as I walked to my class (?). It had the song Lost by Avenged Sevenfold playing. Two girls, A and C were behind me, I felt like they were mocking the song because they did not deserve it. When we got to class they thanked me, so I got really angry.

It was one of those WTF??? dreams

      Night of April 9-10

I'm walking through an outdoor shopping center somewhere. I'm wearing my white lab coat from work. [It's a costume, not a uniform. I teach in an after-school science enrichment program.] For some reason [that I can't remember now], somebody [possibly one of the handlers of the below-mentioned mascots] signs the end of my right sleeve with a green pen. I'm slightly concerned that my lab coat isn't perfectly white anymore.

A local baseball team mascot walks out of a dentist's office. He has a huge smile made of brilliantly white foam teeth. Seeing him again makes me smile and feel nostalgic, because I haven't seen him in such a long time. The mascot also has a Distaff Counterpart in a much less elaborate, striped, bodysock-like dinosaur costume. There are little kids coming up to and greeting both of them.

      Night of April 13-14

I'm watching Franco Zeffirelli's Romeo and Juliet. There's a scene in which Juliet's father, upon finding out what's going on with her and Romeo, rapes her. You can't really see anything, though, since they're both covered by a sheet. The theme song from the movie plays.

      Night of April 14-15

I'm at a big party at a house. It's sunset, or just after. The hosts of the party call all the guests to come outside onto the front lawn and sit in several shallow arcs, facing the hosts. I sit down in one of the arcs with a bunch of other party guests, all of whom are actors from various Star Trek TV series, and all of whom are in costume as their characters. The hosts get us started playing a game: We each have to think of the funniest, cleverest Star-Trek-themed pickup line we can, and then we have to take turns sharing them, going in order along the arcs. As my turn is approaching and others are sharing their pickup lines, I struggle to think of something really clever, but I can't. When my turn comes, I say, “Of all the souls I've encountered in my travels, yours is the most... hot.” It's definitely not as clever as most of the other pickup lines that people came up with. [None of which I can remember now, of course.]

      Night of April 15-16

I'm trying to fit two pieces of rod or pipe together and lock them in place using an interlocking mechanism that is built onto the pipes. They're very dirty and rusty. I discover that I've accidentally broken off one of the parts that are supposed to interlock, so it won't work right.

      Notes
Went to bed at 8pm, woke up at 5:30am. Heard the music in my dream, but as often happens when I'm lucid half-sleeping, I could not hear the words and though I knew it was the sound of my alarm clock, felt it a good idea to ignore it and incorporate it into my dream instead. I have horrible judgement when I'm sleeping. My dream self never wants to go to school. Eventually woken up by my mom around 6am. First lucid in a little more than a week.

      Entry 008
I find myself in the city. I'm lucid, but as usual, I don't attempt to control the dream. I allow myself to become involved in the storyline. I see Clemens and a mixture of people from my journalism class and people from my February trip. I realize that this dream will in a way mimic that trip. The city is a mix of Vienna, Budapest and the place I live now. There are modern skyscrapers with quaint European shops and homes squished in between. At once I see museums and horse drawn carriages and then I see glass and steel buildings at another minute. We're told to go off on our own, like we were often told in Vienna. I go on a little excursion. Somehow I end up in someone's house with a grey horse, named Grani over the horse in Sigurd, the Volsung. I'm feeding the horse in metal bowl.

Clemens comes for me. Free time is over. We end up in a low ceilinged building, kind of like a club and a hobbit hole mixed together. We're sitting at long tables eating, watching some kind of entertainment at the front. After we eat, we see a glass enclosed arcade inside. I watch from outside as some people play DDR or sing karaoke. I watch Clemens fail horribly at DDR and decide I want to play. When I try, though, the symbols on the screen are gibberish and the arrows on the pad don't work correctly. I'm kind of disappointed, dream self and lucid self, so I decide to leave.

When I walk outside, the whole city now appears to be made out of quilted toilet paper. Also, the old European charm has vanished. If it were not for the entire city being made of toilet paper, it would look just like the main street of the city I live in now. I walk around for a bit past some familiar structures like the huge mall until I come to what looks like a ramp leading down into a parking garage. I go down. It's not a parking garage, it's the lobby of a bank. Go figure. I decide to set up an account. I'm sweating; For some reason I'm really nervous my mom is going to find out I'm setting up a bank account.

At this point the music from my alarm clock interrupts my dream. Consciously I realize that this is my alarm clock, but I won't allow myself to get up just yet. I don't know why, but the music comes through to me without any words, only instrumentals. This gets interpreted by my dream self as some kind of new super power. The ability to remove the words from songs. What an amazing ability.

      I wake up.
