    1. Lucid Magic, Flying and Phasing

      by , 10-16-2012 at 08:21 PM
I find myself on an errand downtown, possibly working for my last employer, visiting the State General Services building. In my dream the SGS is attached to the old Palm School Building which in real life is also state offices now. For some reason I have changed the word Palm to Psalm in the dream.

The building is very long and my destination is in the back somewhere. I never see myself fulfilling my errand but I know I was done and headed towards the back exit at the rear of the building. I pass several open areas to come to a large room with low white carpet and shelves along two of the walls. Across from me is a counter similar to the check-in counters you see in airports close to the entry gates. The woman stationed at the counter even resembles Zoe Saldana looking much like she did in the movie The Terminal.

To my left and slightly behind the counter is an exit door that I wanted to utilize but it is blocked by a bookcase, a clear indicator for 'no access.' I look at the woman and say, "I guess I can't go out that way, can I?" She replies, "No." as though she expected the question.

"I have to go back to the middle of the building, don't I?"

"Yeah." Again, the same disinterest in her reply, as though she had said it many times.

A mental map of the building appears in my head and I can see where the exit is, about one-third the length of the building back the way I came from. I start heading in that direction when things begin to get weird.

Walking out of the room at the end of the building I realize I'm no longer weaing my shoes, that somehow I had left them behind me when I first went into that area. Now that I've returned to where I left them I find a large cut in them as though a chain-saw had been brought down over them right in the middle.

Leaning down to pick them up I think, "I would never leave my shoes behind in an office-building, nor would I walk around without shoes, so I must be dreaming." I smiled and felt good at the thought, but even better when I realized I could fix my shoes. "It's a dream, I can fix this."

I closed my eyes and waved my hand over the shoes. When I opened my eyes the shoes were fixed and actually appeared brand new. What once were slightly dingy shoes are now bright white with red stripes along the sides. (I've never owned shoes with bright red stripes)

"Ha!" I think and almost say out loud. I'm very pleased with my actions and know it's time for action. I begin putting my shoes on in preparation for walking to the door but I'm having a little difficulty slipping them on and I'm eager to do other things. It occurs to me that putting my shoes on and taking that time may cause me to lose my lucidity. I briefly close my eyes to stabilize myself and reopen them, thinking, "I don't need shoes. It's a dream."

The first thought to next pop into my mind is to try flying. I head towards the area where the exit is and instead of using a door I walk right up to a plate glass window with the intention of going through it. Sadly I am stopped by the glass, my fingers making the familiar sound against the glass when large windows are contacted. The glass is cold...and solid.

I step back a bit, thinking,"Hmmmm.....I know I can do this...it's my dream." I launch myself forward and go right on through the window with no effort. I don't think I broke any glass but it must not have been an important detail.

I find myself flying over a downtown street so I climb up a bit higher to get above the buildings. I can see rooftops with people, chairs and air conditioning units on them. In the streets below cars move and I find myself marveling at the incredible detail my mind can create. Even the plants have movement, something I wasn't expecting.

Since I'm flying I want to take it as far as I can...but where to go? The first place that pops into my head is the San Francisco Bay Area where my dad lives, a familiar locale. Sticking my hands out in front of me I zoom off like a superhero, the ground whizzing by below me like a video on super fast-forward. Only a few seconds pass before I arrive overlooking the vast area from San Jose to Richmond that makes up the Bay Area.

As I was flying I could feel the wind against my fingertips as though I high-pressure air-hose was being applied to my skin. This was a unique sensation and unexpected, but cool, another thing I was pleased with my mind for.

Arriving in the Bay Area I find myself in a rather featureless room with a ceiling above me and painted moldings along the top edges of the walls. I decide as long as I'm dreaming I may as well phase through the ceiling. I push my hand up and into the wood, passing through as easily as my hand into water. "Nice," I think, I want to try this more.

I am now in the room above the previous one and I try to phase again but it doesn't work very well. I can get my hand partway through but I encounter resistance. I'm just beginning to ponder this when I wake up.

It was a really nice and long lucid, and the level of control was really amazing. :)
    2. Flying Around School

      Flying Around School [DILD]

This dream is pretty much a fragment. I was doing stuff at school for most of it, but I can't really remember what any of that stuff was now. O and D were there, however; that I know for sure. At one point I got tired of walking through the hallway so I just lied down and started gliding across the ground. This and the flying that followed soon afterward made me become lucid. Really all I did for the rest of the dream was phase through the walls to get outside and then fly around above the school. Right before I woke up I also got a strange out-of-body sense that I wasn't myself but rather was controlling some skinny guy white bleached blonde spikes in his hair, and I got a somewhat decent bird's-eye visual of him.

      "Canyon Rock"

(There was so much in this dream that I don't remember. =/ I know that I was trying to complete the Grand Canyon task in the "Warriors of Dreamviews" thread, and that I became lucid at many points throughout the dream, but there is so much that was just plain forgotten...)

Most of the 'beginning' of the dream was just exploratory; walking around the streets at night. Not sure what city I was in. During this time, I became lucid. I remember being in a park area and trying to walk through a chain-link fence. It kept resisting, as if this were waking life, even though I kept reminding myself that it was a dream. I tried to relax a little bit and sort of 'forget' about the fence, in order to walk through it. I began to sink into it a little bit, but I was still having a lot of trouble actually getting through it. On the other side of the fence, I could see a man standing across the street. He was laughing at me, watching me try to walk through this fence, and it beginning to agitate me.

With a bit more determination, I forced myself through the fence - without breaking it, I believe, but am not sure - and walked over to this guy. Unfortunately, I can't remember quite how I exacted my revenge on him, but I did.

Later, I was in someone's apartment, again just wandering around, taking in the lucid scenery, thinking of what to do next. Throughout the dream, I used the nose-plug reality check often, which was fresh in my mind after having been talking to IvyCloud about it, keeping me attuned to the fact that I was still dreaming. Looking at the bed, I noticed that the sheets were the color of sand, which made me think of a desert. I then thought about the Dream Warriors task, and that one of them was in the Grand Canyon. Trying to figure the best way of teleporting to that kind of scene, I ended up just staring at the bedsheets, letting the print fill my field of vision. Soon, it was like I was looking down upon a desert area, from the sky. The image grew wider and closer in my perspective, until my feet touched down upon the sand as if I had just dropped out of flight. Raising my eyes to my surroundings, I saw that I was suddenly in the wide, yellow desert surrounding the canyon, and there was a fierce battle raging around me, involving tanks, RPGs, ATV's and other toys.

The last thing I remember was doing the nose-plug check one more time, being able to breathe, and then rushing in to join the battle.

      "Makin' Hulk Angry"

I was with my best friend T, and...the Hulk. We were in a building, that I believe might have been an apartment, and there was (another) face-less, name-less enemy faction closing in to cause all kinds of trouble. (Isn't there always?) So, for some reason, the Hulk was reluctant to fight. The three of us were standing in the living room, and T and I were trying to get Hulk worked up, so that he would take out all of these bad guys who were about to descend upon us. For some reason, though, he was just really mopey and depressed and insecure, almost like he was Banner trapped in Hulk's body. Then, we said something that touched a nerve - I think it had to do with something that we knew happened to his parents that (conveniently) had to do with these villains that we were about to face.

That triggered a reaction in him, and we could see that infamous scowl begin to return to his face. I can't (now) remember what the dialogue actually was, but we kept on pressing, mercilessly recounting to him all the details of what these enemies have done to his family in the past. We were bombarding him with horrible memories, our tone increasing with each emotional hit we gave him. We could almost see his blood boiling. He began to absolutely quake with anger, huge white teeth baring down upon each other, in the open. He looked as if he were literally about to explode.

Finally, not being able to take it anymore, Hulk suddenly let out a thunderous roar, bent his legs and then, enraged, jumped straight up into the air like a rocket, tearing through the many floors above us and leaving a gaping hole all the way through the top of the building. T and I looked at each other and grinned, knowing that - whomever these clowns were that were looking to attack us - they were in for a world of hurt.

    4. Holding Down The Fort, Aesthetic Lucid And Link Contact

      by , 04-08-2012 at 07:39 PM
#1 - Holding Down The Fort [DILD]

I only really remember the part of this dream where I was lucid. I vaguely recall flying around mountain ranges at some park... or something.... And then, I was in a school with a bunch of people and we were doing some kind of intense LARP battle. I run to some small, sealed, closet-sized room but with window and lock myself inside. People would run up to the door trying to open it, then I was suddenly lash out phasing through the door, grab their arms or legs, and snap them with super strength.

#2 - Aesthetic Lucid And Link Contact [DILD]

I remember something about my dad intending to buy me a new home, and I was walking around some neighborhood with this guy S I knew in middle and high school, though didn't get to talk to all that much. I think he was here because O mentioned that he was going to see him for the first time in years the last time I hung out with him. We walked up to some gigantic building, and I wanted to see into it. It had kind of a cool stylistic architecture that's hard to describe, but we also saw a few other buildings being built that way, including a McDonald's. I became lucid and flew up to the top to look inside, and there's no ceiling - the top is huge and totally open. I went down and grabbed on to a ledge and just let my feet dangle inside the building while feeling the wind blow past me. I spend most of the time here just enjoying the scenery, there were massive open fields and mountain ranges all around me that I could see faaaar into the distance of due to the altitude I was at. It was really cool.

False Awakening - I wrote down the dream, which almost totally screwed me over because when I woke up for real I remembered being lucid but not what happened, luckily it finally came back. I got up and went to play some Digimon game that I remember very little of now, but I do remember that it was long and intense. I finally beat it in the end and then got up and started browsing the internet on my computer. I was at a site that listed game data for all the different Pokémon. I was looking up Exeggutor's moves, and then suddenly the text on the screen scrolled to the right and new text was appearing in its place. It was some kind of chat log. The first few lines were this:

      Aly!
      Aly!
      This is Link!

:O I think I saw the word "incredible" in there somewhere too, but I can't really remember the rest. After I started comprehending what it meant, I woke up. :T
    5. Vividness Is An Illusion

      by , 03-24-2012 at 12:31 AM
I had a dream before and after this one, but I was too lazy to write them down. They're not important, anyway.... I spent like eight hours helping a friend do yard work immediately after getting up so I don't remember much of this dream other than what I wrote down, but what's really important to me is what happened at the end....

      Vividness Is An Illusion [DILD]

So first, the part of the dream I just barely remember. It was another high school dream, and there was some plot going on about some girl who wanted to kill us all and expected me to play along with it. (I don't remember this in the slightest, it's just from the notes). There was lots of really trippy stuff going on though, like when I was in a hallway and couldn't figure out which way to go, I looked at a wall and saw this guy J's face attached to the wall smiling this creepy smile and tilted sideways in the correct direction, so I smiled back and walked that way. Also, I remember being in a class and seeing my cat walking around, and people wanted me to follow them so I told them to hold up while I put my cat away. I picked up my backpack and unzipped the center area to put him in, but when I looked inside there was another cat already in there, and he looked like he was starving. I said "Oh shit! I must have put this other cat in here already and forgot about him, my bad.", then just left them both there and walked off. Anyway, so the girl that was trying to kill us wanted me to do something, but I didn't fall for her trap this time. I became very mildly lucid and just flew up, phasing through the higher floors, until I was over the building. I was just trying to get away from the girl and didn't really have any goals in mind, so from high up I just watched some kids playing soccer in the distance until I woke up.

This is where it got interesting for me. I'm no longer confused about the last time I woke up and was still dreaming but everything was SO real, including detail I hadn't actually seen before, and I even was pretty sure I was awake at first but then lost focus, in a way that false awakenings don't. That and this were hypnopompic hallucinations. So I woke up in bed, facing the wall. It was pretty dark still, but then suddenly I heard a guy talking extremely clearly and there was sounds of cheering on a TV. I didn't see either one, but I immediately got mental images, the voice was coming from a heavyset black man and the TV (which was not actually on) was showing some soccer game. Unlike the last time where I was asked by a hallucinated M if I was up and I responded "I think I'm awake....", but then forgot about it when I started listening to her, this time I knew exactly what was going on. I started mentally repeating to myself "It's a hallucination, it's a hallucination...." I got a very clear image of what was going on in the soccer game too, there were no players at all, just several soccer balls of different sizes. They were moving in strange trajectories one at a time until they hit the next one and caused it to roll, sort of like dominoes causing each other to fall over. The man was talking about the game, though I can't remember what he was saying now, it was all rather startling and I wasn't paying much attention, not to mention my short-term memory was still pretty terrible. Eventually though he started just saying complete gibberish words, and I knew the hallucination was falling apart. I took a leap of faith and quickly turned over to see if he was there, but the room was empty. All the sounds vanished, and I felt very dissociated for a second, and then I returned to full waking consciousness. There was no feeling of waking up because I was already awake, just sort of a transitional blip.

Basically what I can say about this is... it made me realize how much we fool ourselves into thinking that regular lucid dreams are vivid. I'm sure they can be made extremely vivid like this, but they're still nowhere near as vivid as waking life. My most realistic dream, which I previously would have said was possibly even more vivid than reality, now just seems like a hallucination compared to this. Senses like hearing and sight can definitely be waaay up there in dreams, the amount of detail in specific objects can definitely match reality, but there's so much more that just isn't present in dreams. In waking life your brain constantly monitors your heart rate, breathing rate, the position of each of your limbs and how comfortable they are, what temperature you are in various parts of your body, whether you have any itches, if you're hungry, thirsty, bloated, sweaty, physically nervous.... All five of your senses are constantly at work at full vividness, your brain knows that it has to keep itself aware of EVERYTHING in your line of sight and peripherals, not just what you're focusing on, it has stay aware of even the slightest sounds or changes in taste or smell or feeling. Basically, in waking life, your brain knows it can't just let loose like it can in dreams. Together these make for soooo much detail missing in dreams unless you're specifically focused on it, it's ridiculous. The reason we can feel like dreams are so vivid is because we don't normally consciously think about this stuff, and in dreams it's hard to remember what it's like to be in the waking world anyway, but this vividness is an illusion. Even when you're on drugs and awake and hallucinating in reality, they have a dreamy feeling to them and you often lose track of some of these sensations. This was different. I was in reality, totally hallucinating, and totally lucid. This feeling of knowing you're in a dream while being in the waking world was mind-blowing, at least to me. This is something I won't soon be forgetting. I wonder how much work it could take, what level of awareness would be required, to recreate sensations this powerful in dreams....
    6. Playing With The Weather, Outmatched, Walking On Water, Sleepwalking Scare, Chao Raising

      by , 03-07-2012 at 11:00 PM
I was a busy girl this night! Four MILDs, one almost V-WILD, and one non-lucid, not to mention some shadow creatures at the beginning of the night. Intense!

Side Notes - So, as I was falling asleep there was suddenly some very vivid and weird blobby structure textured like blue jeans behind my eyelids, it twitched and morphed very quickly. This was not hypnagogic imagery (at least, not fully), it was a remnant of when I used to meditate while abusing anticholinergic deliriants, it moved in the exact same way. I open my eyes and say "Great, so I'm hallucinating now." There were dark clouds moving across my room and coming up to my face, I could feel an animal presence in each one, but I didn't allow them to form into anything. Across my ceiling moved a cloud that I always recognize as one of my delirium signs. Had I let it grow, it would've turned into a big white alien crab thing. I decided to just close my eyes and try to fall asleep quickly anyway while repeating my lucidity mantra.

#1 - Playing With The Weather [MILD]

The first few parts of this dream I only remember in flashes. I remember wishing some city was closer to us for some reason, I think I perceived it as some cool party area, then blur... then there's some spaceship ride at a theater or old house or something where we weren't supposed to be, but I got on the ride with a couple other people and it sent me into third-person mode in outer space, controlling some ship (a star destroyer from Star Wars, maybe?) as some commercial about it plays in the background (just the audio) and the ship gets continuously divided into smaller copies of itself by other ships around it. I think this phase is what caused me to become lucid... suddenly I was back in first-person and standing in front of my house. A big red bus was driving down the street and I tried to pull it toward me with telekinesis but it didn't work, probably too big of a task for a beginner. (I don't think I've used telekinesis since my second lucid ever.) So instead I lept up and blasted off into the sky at supersonic speeds, the wind felt so amazing rushing past my face. I even got to feel myself pass through clouds, which was awesome! I watched the ground streak by until I stopped over some really big field in a country area with one or two small farms. I was really high up, above the clouds, and I saw a tornado tearing through the countryside. (Though, aside from a couple storm clouds, it was bright and sunny outside. ) I gave my telekinesis another shot and managed to change its path by holding my hand out and pushing it in a different direction. Next I turned my attention to a storm cloud next to me and tried to make lightning strike the ground from it, but it wasn't really working too well, it was more like a mild flash that was just a glitch in my perception. I guess that one might take some waking life visualization first to do well. After that I transitioned into third-person again and lost lucidity, there was some kid breaking into a bank and some nasty old man with a shotgun (I think...) and his dog comes in and threatens him to leave and return what he stole or he's going to call this other old man and make him his pet. I woke up after that. There was a lot of dream leading up to the blurry part too, I remember experiencing it, just not what it was.... Though I do remember it involved Erii.

      #2 - Outmatched [MILD]

I was back in middle school but in a class with a guy I didn't meet until high school, and the environment was somewhat fused with my community college. I have two electric guitars made of rubber, and they really work but they also aren't stable and bend and flop around a lot. Apparently one of them is broken and the other is a replica of the broken one, and my teacher gets mad at me for having them so I ask if I can take them to a different classroom. She says sure, so I get up and start walking through the halls and swing them like crazy on my way, they bend so much that they made that *wop-wop-wop* spinning blade sound but with a cool little electric guitar noise. While walking through the hall I become lucid, and somehow I went from the second floor to the first floor. I look up a massive staircase and see someone who I don't remember, but I flew up to him and asked him where Mason was. (This guy I had a class with in high school, I don't know why I thought of him but I was basically just trying to keep a dream plot going.) He didn't know so I flew off to the cafeteria (first floor) and there were several rows of tables with computers set up there for some reason. I just had fun walking through the rows and seeing tons of old people I went to middle school with, including D and C, working on some projects. I walked to one of the stairwells and sat down next to it and pulled out my phone to start texting (I think I almost lost lucidity here), and O walked by me and said that I'd better be careful because he had just gotten in trouble for doing that, and I was like oh snap, I'm supposed to be in class! I walk up the stairs next to these two random DC girls and tell them about the guitars and they laugh, and I'm like "I know, fuckin' dreams." Upstairs we walk to a section where there's a large gap in between two sections of the floor that you can see the first floor through, with a bridge off to the right of where I am. Directly across from me is a room with a bunch of people standing out front, so I jump across the gap myself and walk into the room. It's small and nearly empty, with another even smaller room (like closet-sized) connected to the side of it. There's a random girl standing next to the window looking out of it, and she looks over at me. Suddenly she runs over to me at LIGHTNING speed, like leaving a blurry trail behind her and everything, and stands right in front of me with this serious face. I freak out and try to kick her away, but with her super speed she just jumps to right behind my foot. She just stares at me and then reaches out to grab my leg. O_O And I'm basically terrified at this point, but then I wake up.

I need to master that level of super speed as a power!!

#3 - Walking On Water [MILD]

O and I are leaving our middle school to go to In-N-Out for lunch but we accidentally use an exit door that has an alarm on it. I figured this out after we used it but O didn't, so I just wanted to get out of there so I don't get in trouble. We almost left, but O started seeing everyones' reactions to the alarm going off and starts having a panic attack, so I put aside my worries to keep him calm. It jumps forward to me right up next to some window blinds, like literally they're all I see, with individual ones having information printed on them about how I have to sit in this timeout class all day for being in trouble, and it specifically stated that one of the school admins was ninja9578. Eventually I back away from the blinds and see that this class is in a tiny building in front of the school, in the parking lot. This one guy in somewhat fancy black clothes is there and asks me what I'm there for after talking to the teacher about something, but I became lucid around this point. I just tell him I'm getting out of there, and I fly up and phase through the wall and into the sky. I look back and see him smiling and looking encouragingly at me, and he says "This is a dream!" or something like that, and I just smile at him and fly off. I start off down the road toward my house, but then I decided to ground myself and hoof it this time to make sure I didn't get too much of an adrenaline rush. I run down the path, and normally there's a bridge and on the left side of it you see my old elementary school, but instead this time right at the edge of the bridge was a beach with a long stretch of water going out from it. :O I decided that walking on water would be a cool thing to do, so I just ran out on to it. There are waves forming and breaking beneath me and it feels so cool, I try to jump over the waves as they come just for the fun of it. That went on for a short amount of time, then the dream ended.

False Awakening - I had a false awakening here where I intended to start writing that dream down, but it wasn't really significant. Luckily it didn't mess with my memory of it, but it did make me think I had woken up between the alarm part and the getting in trouble briefly when I actually hadn't.

      #4 - Sleepwalking Scare [MILD]

I was briefly lucid, I can't remember much other than that the plot of the dream seemed really unstable and ill-formed, like the DCs were actually invisible. They were definitely there in a third eye kind of way, but they vanished easily, and I was afraid that I was actually lucid sleepwalking or something because I was standing naked in my bathroom, and if I closed my eyes and walked around I felt myself moving and all, but when I would open them I'd still be in the same spot. However, when I actually woke up I was still in bed.

Side Notes - After this I wasn't really intending to fall back asleep, but I didn't feel like getting up either. I stayed in bed and started thinking about giving myself a breast massage, but I was so lazy that I didn't even actually feel like lifting my arms to do it, so I started visualizing it instead. To my surprise, the visualization was incredibly strong, and I felt like it was actually happening. A scene started forming around me too, I was walking Target and looking at DVDs while doing this. It definitely felt like it was about to completely take over and suck me into a V-WILD several times, but it was never able to fully do it. Maybe if I'd done this method before I would've known how to push it all the way, but as it is I just don't think I was tired enough to fall into it. After I gave up with that it took me another fifteen or twenty minutes to fall asleep again.

      #5 - Chao Raising [Non-Lucid]

I was raising chao (from Sonic Adventure) with K, and then my memory gets blurry.... I wrote down "find a way back to the beginning of an obstacle course which takes me back to the beginning of it all and causes me to hatch from one of his eggs?" I remember before this he was at my house writing a trip report for some cannabinoid smoking blend we had both tried, and then he was leaving but I said I wanted to go with him and he said I needed to hurry, so I went to change clothes and somehow it launched into that. Afterwards he asked me what I was going to do with the new chao and I told him I might go for one beauty-based (?) because until then I'd been looking at Erii as the figure of beauty. (??) Then I woke up lol.
    7. Fight To Survive, False False Awakening?

      by , 03-05-2012 at 05:56 PM
My recall's starting to get pretty poor, I think I need to start reading up on some ways to increase it, and also some lucid stabilization guides. I had two lucids, but it seems like every time I have one that lasts more than a few seconds it's spent fighting the dream to keep it alive, and often failing, and I don't get to focus on anything like finding Linkzelda41 or exploring powers. :T Hmm.... (Though, I guess I did get to briefly attempt one thing that would be useful for that this time, but it didn't really work.)

Fragment - "K, tripping, freak out fan on/off, zombies, his phone too warm."

Fragment - "Giant valley filled with water, pink Star Fox fighter battle, on DS. Water level dropped at end."

#1 - Fight To Survive [MILD]

I'm in high school with O and D, a history class I think, and our teacher is giving us a lesson along with some humongous white snake with no eyes that still somehow stares into your soul. Some guy in class was browsing the internet (on his laptop I guess, kind of hard to remember) instead of paying attention, so the snake caused him to become a cartoon and switch bodies with a female anthropomorphic bunny. o_o After class we're getting ready to leave as if class was totally normal, and I became lucid after talking to them about the snake. O walks through a door with some girl on the way out (like literally, they phased right through it) and I follow him (phasing through the door as well, the first lucid power I actually had to work to get good at, and can now do flawlessly ) to try to get him to come back but he still walks off. I decide to open the door to change where it leads to, and it kind of works but not really, it just leads me to a different school hallway. The dream starts to fade so I start rubbing my hands together and feeling the walls and looking all over the place for new input but it's not really working, so I jump forward and start licking the wall as well, three senses stimulated! It doesn't taste as bad as I would have imagined, just sort of neutral. I start walking down the wall (never removing my hands or tongue from it) trying to find something to do, and the dream clearly doesn't want to last. My limbs are slowly failing as if I'd been fatally poisoned or something. Finally I see one of those little bins they had at stores with different ice cream cones and bars in them, and I run over there and just grab a regular vanilla ice cream cone. I started eating it and it actually tasted pretty good, but then I woke up. I guess it wasn't a total waste.

#2 - False False Awakening? [MILD]

I was talking to K about some politics related to lucid dreaming (mostly gibberish I think, but something about how some politician was claiming that lucid dreaming was equivalent to passing through the gates of hell ), and then I get a... well, it's odd because I can't remember far enough back in the dream to know if this was actually true or not, and I want to say it's not, but suddenly I had a feeling of clarity and said "Oh, this is a false awakening." and that made me lucid. I just looked at K and said "You're not even going to remember this conversation." And he smiled at me, then I woke up. On to the couch in my den, which seemed perfectly normal. I thought the conversation we were having was funny so I wrote it down to tell K about it later, but once I finished I actually woke up in bed, and I don't really remember much about the conversation now.

      Dream Fragment One

I was lucid, from my earliest memory of this dream, riding down the highway in a ridiculously fast sports car. I was in the passenger seat, and my cute Puerto Rican friend AR was sitting on my lap, while her friend was driving. AR and I began to fool around, and slipped one hand down the front of her pants, rubbing her chest with the other, and kissing the side of her neck. We were all just completely having a blast. The more I would massage AR's erogenous zones, the faster her friend would push the car, until the sound of AR's moaning was revving right along with the engine, as was the grinding of her ass against my lap. It was probably one of the most fun lucid moments I've had, and just insanely hot. She'd throw her head back and over my shoulder, every now and then, calling out while her friend would watch us out of the corner of her eye, laughing.

      It was amazing. Lol.

      Dream Two
      "Make-shift Assassin"

I was searching through some house; again, already lucid. Walking into one room, I noticed a vase with a head and face on it. The more I walked passed it, the more that I noticed that the face was apparently alive, and eerily smiling ever wider, as it watched me move across the room. Near the vase was a mirror, which I started into for a while, noticing the way that the furniture in the room had moved, which didn't seem to match what an actual mirror should show.

Eventually, I walked through the mirror and ended up in a different scenario. I was running assassin/theif missions with someone else, and we were both dressed as ninjas. I don't remember much of the transition into the scenario, but I was still lucid and completely enjoying the story, so I continued to play along. We did some amazing parkour across rooftops, and I would occasionally phase through the doors and walls of the buildings.
There was one moment I vaguely remember, after I'd lost lucidity, where we'd gone to the house of a particular mark. After spending some time looking through the mark's personal belongings, we were found out, and I was able to escape a second story window before my partner was. While hanging on a ledge, outside of the room, I watched while the mark's posse came in and caught my partner, though I knew that I could not give away my position.

      "Losing My Best Friend"

There was a massive skydive training function / party going on, involving hundreds of people. My very first jump was to be a base jump off of a tall cliff or ledge. Not to prove myself timid, I did a back flip off of the ledge, but what once seemed to be a jump of a few hundred feet turned out to last a fraction of a second, and I couldn't even finish my rotation. It felt like I tried to do a back flip off of a coffee table. Not having nearly enough rotation to complete the flip, I ended up face-planting on the ground - no pain or anything, but it was embarrassing as hell.

After picking myself up, I went around the grounds of this festival and mingled for a bit. A lot of my old friends were there, including my best friend Todd. Soon, my second jump had come up, and Todd and I were now jumping from a plane, simultaneously. In the middle of these festival grounds was a huge cave that went straight down into the Earth. It was basically an enormous hole in the ground, that people were partying around, down below us. (Something like This, but maybe not as sheer on the sides.) Todd and I had no intentions of landing in or around this hole, but we ended up traveling off course and headed in that direction. Unable to avoid it, I crashed against one side of the cylindrical wall, just a few feet from the top, on a ledge just barely big enough to hold me in a standing position. Todd dropped a little further down, and landed on a small protrusion of rock on the opposite side of the expansive cavern, on his stomach, with his head nearly hanging over the edge and facing down into the void.

I barely had three inches to spare, on the tiny ledge that was holding my feet above a deadly fall. The more I tried to climb out, the more the lightly packed wall of earth began to give way in my hands. Looking back across the gap at Todd, I could see that he was having trouble keeping his position, and his body was naturally beginning to slide down closer to the lip of the ledge he was on. His eyes screamed the extreme fear that his mouth would not, and the more he attempted to inch himself away from the ledge, the more the ledge began to give way. I could tell that it wouldn't be long before it completely failed him. I yelled his name, trying as desperately as I could to climb up from off of my ledge. It seemed impossible, though. Every time I tried to climb out, my hold would give way, and I would put myself in danger of falling to my death as well, but I could see that Todd was running out of time.

Finally, the last bit of solid ground he had gave way, and I watched him slide forward, his body diving, head first, off of the tiny ledge, and down into the hole - which might as well have been bottomless, from as far down as I was able to see. I lost sight of him withing just a few moments, but then I heard that horrible Crash from down below. It hit with such force that I knew, instantly, no one could have possibly survived. I think I called out for him one more time, and - not really giving a damn about my own safety anymore - I scrambled up and out of the cave, somehow pulling myself up onto the ledge and level ground, along with the scores of other people who had been watching the whole ordeal.

I ran around the rim of the cavern to where he once was. On the way over, I came across some drunken idiot who was laughing at the situation (while everyone else was quite visibly stunned). For the shortest moment, I almost got into a fight with this jackass. He said that he thought it was funny because Todd was 'just some random dude' and was 'nothing special'. Right. This was not his best friend we were talking about. Fuming, but still overcome with concern, I continued running around to the other side of the hole, knowing in my heart that no one could have survived that fall. Almost to the railing, where everyone else was staring down into the hole, I began pushing my way through the crowd. Suddenly, I was blocked by T's mom (whom I love dearly). She ran toward me, crying her eyes out, and threw her arms around me. She had seen the whole thing from an angle that I had not, and I could tell by her reaction that I had been right, and my best friend in the world was dead.

(This was the absolute worst dream I have had in a very long time. I woke up feeling absolutely horrible. Todd has been in Australia for the past year, and I called him a few times after hearing this dream, just to hear is voice. Wasn't able to get in touch with him until a few days after this dream, though. It was pretty rough. )

      12/13/2011
      Fragment
All I remember is that I dove into a large, rock-filled lagoon with some friends, and began swimming down into a huge hole (much like the one in the previous dream, but in the water instead of on land). Apparently, we could all breathe underwater, because we just kept swimming further and further down. Eventually, what was a tunnel opened up into a seemingly-boundless cavern of sorts. We began to see lights and over-sized mechanisms like cogs and chains surrounding us. We had swam down into what turned out to be an underwater civilization, reminiscent of what some might depict Atlantis to be - domed buildings and rock-set architecture. Never got a chance to associate with any of the locals, though.

      Dream One
      "Bouncer Housed"

I feel that I can only remember a small portion of this dream. There were many occasions where I kept trying to find lucidity, but I would only get to the point of figuring that 'something was strange.' Finally, I was able to levitate some objects (though I can't remember what they were), and convinced myself that I was dreaming. I'd been driving around, at one point, and remember phasing through the roof of a moving car. Most of this was lost in memory, though.

What I remember the most, is one moment when I was apparently in some type of nightclub. I had gotten into an altercation with a bouncer, and we were squaring off against each other. The thing about this bouncer, though, is that he was practically a giant. He stood no less than 9ft tall, and was easily tipping over 500lbs - not your everyday 'tough guy.' I was already lucid at this time, though, and I was just talking all kinds of shit to this guy. I don't remember exactly what I was saying, but I was pretty much just warning the guy not to press his luck, because this was my dream, and it could easily destroy him, if I wanted to. For a few moments, he stood his ground, but after a while, he seemed to just think I was out of my mind for fucking with someone as large as he was. After a short while of barking back and forth at each other, the bouncer finally said something along the lines of: "Dude, you're fucking crazy..." turned around and walked away. It was an obvious gesture of pity, because he figured that he would pummel me into the ground, if he'd allowed himself to lose control. I knew otherwise.

When I looked back at my friends, everyone was staring me in complete awe. They told me that they'd never seen me take on such a challenge, head-on. It was actually kind of shocking. The awkwardness of it felt so real that
I began to lose lucidity. I started questioning whether or not this was a dream, and became somewhat startled at the idea that I might have just told that enormous bouncer off, the way I did. (The fact that he was probably 9 ft tall stuck with me as 'something that was strange', but it was no longer something that registered enough to keep my lucidity.)

      Dream Fragment Two
All I really remember is something about my dad sleeping on a mattress on the living room floor.

      Dream Three
      "Gush Hour"

I was on a boat, and there was some kind of battle going on.

I'd been with T, and his Jeep (which apparently had the ability to float in water) was bobbing along behind the stationary vessel - our getaway vehicle. During a scramble, I had safely bailed out of the boat, and crawled back into the floating Jeep. Once inside, I stared anxiously through the windshield, waiting for Todd to emerge so we could get the hell out of there. Instead, there was a large disruption (which might have been an explosion, but I really don't know), and the Jeep was suddenly rocked by a large wave. Not being strapped in, I found myself being tossed around, inside the vehicle, while water poured in from all sides, through the open windows. The Jeep was swept back onto land, though the wave itself never really seemed to end. It was just a continuous surge of water, which pushed the Jeep through the city streets, blanketing the coast and quickly rolling its way into Central Florida. Before I knew it, I was being pushed down State Road 436, which is nearly 50 miles from any coastline, and dead in the center of town.

Inside the Jeep, I was practically drowning. The tidal wave kept the vehicle flipping and rolling through the streets, still dumping water in through the windows, and completely overwhelming me. It was almost completely filled, at this point, and I knew I couldn't take anymore. Somehow, I knew that my family was at a nearby store, and the flood would be pushing me past it, soon. As a last ditch effort - coming up along this familiar intersection - I threw myself at the door and burst out of the Jeep. The water level was just around 3 feet deep now, but it was still pushing the Jeep along the roadway, as if the Jeep was completely weightless in the current. When I spilled out of the doorway, I rolled helplessly on the concrete for a few feet, and lurched to a stop with both hands on the curb, choking and coughing up the water that I'd carried with me, all the way from the Eastern coast.

In a matter of seconds, my mom and a few other family members were at my side, tending to me as I continued to gasp for air. It took me a moment to even acknowledge that they were there, but, in a fit of perfect comedic timing - and between labored breaths - I looked up at my mom and said "...You know it's flooding up there?" and I pointed down the street, from where the ocean had just spit me out into the streets. Everybody laughed.

      Dream One
      "Trainhopping"

The first thing I remember is being on an elevated train. It felt kind of like a monorail, in that it was on a single-railed track, and distinctly had that 'theme park' feel to it. Somewhere along our trip, the train malfunctioned. It began to break down and lose speed, but I can't exactly remember the reason why. It was in this moment, when most of the people around me were reacting to the failing train, that I realized I was dreaming. Looking out the window nearest me, I could see another elevated track. Ahead, I could see another train speeding toward us, on the parrallel railing that sat a couple-dozen yards away from ours. Even in this short period of time, I could see that the train was moving insanely fast. It wasn't a regular monorail, but a bullet train. I knew, immediately, that I would much rather be on that train, than the disfunctional PoS that I was on, now.

I levitated in the air and phased through the roof of my train, landing on top of it. I don't believe my train had completely stopped, but it definitely wasn't moving along at full speed. Ahead, I could see the other train nearing us, breezing along on its own, individual track. Both of these tracks sat so far above the ground that I don't actually remember seeing anything but an obscure blur of green fields far below us.

The oncoming train would be passing us soon, so I knew I had to hurry, in order to catch it. While it passed my train, I ran along the length of the roof - from one of the first cars, which I had been in, all the way to the caboose. At the last car, I lept from the train, in a vain attempt to clear the gap between the two of them. Of course, I fell extremely short, and I could feel myself begin to fall toward the ground below us. Again (much like the T-Rex fighting lucid I'd had a few days ago), I had to right myself, while falling. I 'pushed forward', to turn my downward freefall into forward flight, sloppily clearing the gap and just barely making it to the bullet train as it whipped by the failing one that I had been on, moments ago. I grabbed the outside of the train, sticking somewhere between the train's side and rooftop, and then crawled the rest of the way onto the roof. The speed of the train made being on the roof very intense, and I figured it might be better if I made my way inside. So, slinking back around to the edge of the roof, I eased myself over the side of the speeding train, and phased myself through the window, dropping silently inside the train car.

Unfortunately, I don't remember anything after entering the bullet train.

      Dream Fragment Two
I faintly remember something about winning a minor argument against my mom, and chasing someone through a nightclub or bar or something, with a pistol.

      Dream 1-A
      "Almost Reached the Academy Again...Almost"

I was at some fancy dinner party, in a large, extremely luxurious hotel or something. The first thing I actually remember is walking through a large lobby area, and realizing that I was dreaming. I was walking through this dimly lit room, behind 2 or 3 guys. I believe they were friends of mine, but I can't really remember. However, I do recall expressing to them that I was dreaming, and requesting for them to remind me later, if I forget. (I figured it was worth a shot.) That was the last time I saw them in the dream, though, I believe.

Walking up a flight of stairs, I took notice of all of the DC's milling about. Everyone was dressed up nicely, but I can't remember what I was wearing, myself. I passed by this one, Latin-looking girl in a killer gray dress, and we exchanged a quick glance. Moving on, I passed a table full of women who were having a conversation with each other, and I reached out to the nearest one, playfully grabbing her ass. She looked back as I walked on, and gave me a smile. When I turned away from her, to look where I was going, there was another beautiful girl standing in the doorway of a dark room, in front of me. She was petite and blonde, and also dressed very nicely. I'd remembered my intention to search for the Dream World Academy, and I wasn't really trying to get caught up in dream sex, so I simply asked the girl if she would show me to the nearest portal that could take me to the Academy. She agreed, and brought me into the darkened hotel room. I followed her into the bathroom, and she pulled back the shower curtain, motioning for me to step inside. A little confused, I stepped into the shower, expecting to be somehow teleported to the Academy. Instead, though, the girl stepped in behind me. Before I knew it, we were making out in the shower with the water off, and our clothes still on.

Dream 1-B (Dream Chain / False Awakening)
I 'woke up' in a dark room. For a moment, I though I was back at home but, after looking around a bit, I noticed that the room was unfamiliar to me. I could see what looked like an old dresser and TV in the darkness, and a curtain-less window sat nearby. Trying to remember how I might have gotten into this room, I recalled that I had been dreaming, and just woke up here. I recognized this to be a false awakening, got up and walked to the window. It was night out, and I seemed to still be in the hotel, judging by the look of things, outside. The thought came back to me, that I had wanted to find the Academy, so I decided to do some searching on my own. Placing my palms to the glass, I pushed forward and phased through it, stepping out onto the high ledge. From there, I hovered up to the roof, which was high enough that I could just about see above all the other buildings in the area. I looked out over the horizon, to see if anything stood out as an obvious sign that there was an Academy nearby, but didn't really see anything note-worthy.

Then, I looked down to the ground, far below. I could see a small puddle/pond of water, positioned just beneath me, and remembered that these were told (in a previous dream) to be portals. Leaning forward from the rooftop, I dropped off of the ledge, and fell toward the tiny pond. During the fall, I turned myself around so that I was falling backward. Anticipating on hitting the water, I was surprised when I actually fell into what seemed more like a rabbit hole than a water hole. I was still in free-fall; dropping like a stone into the narrow tunnel, to the point where I could feel my stomach begin to turn.

A little uneasy with the unexpectedness of falling backward into this empty hole, I turned back around to fall chest-first. Suddenly, I found that I wasn't falling through a dark pit anymore. Upon the simple act of my turning over, the pit had completely disappeared, and I was now free-falling through the sky, as if I had just been thrown out of an airplane. It was now daytime. Below me, all I could see was blue ocean, for countless miles in every direction, and I was falling toward it fast. A single stretch of island came into view. Even from the aerial view I had, I could tell that it was the Academy! It almost looked like a castle, and the grounds took up the tiny patch of land, leaving really nothing beyond the paved walkways that stretched right out to the docks and into the ocean.

The closer I got to the water, though, the more I could see that there was some sort of chaos going on. Boats became visible in the waters blow, and jets buzzed in the air around me. I had forgotten all about trying to fly, and just continued my free-fall, which ended up dropping me out into the open water, maybe a couple miles from the docks. After splashing down in the ocean, I lifted my head above the surface and took a look around. I had apparently fallen directly into an aquatic war zone. What - from above - just looked like a fray of vehicles scurrying around the air and sea, turned out to be a full-on battle. (This was reminiscent of the last time I went searching for the Academy, and saw that the area was occupied by two opposing military forces. It seems my subconscious decided to throw them back in the mix.) Speed boats with machine guns were battling jets. Scuba divers were waging attacks on the boats. The water - which looked pretty placid, from the air - was now turbulent with the mayhem that was going on around me.

I didn't want to deal with this, though. I just wanted to get to the damn Academy. Deciding not to waste any time with this battle, I levitated myself out of the water and bolted toward the shore, flying over the water like a missile and dodging all of the combatants in my way - just trying my damndest to finally get a chance to explore the actual academy, itself.

Unfortunately, I woke up just before reaching dry land.

      DILD

      Recall: poor

Notes: My flying was tolerable but still extremely strenuous. There has to be a better was to do this.

I was in some martial arts training class. It was a small room with some walls protruding into the area, separating the room into smaller areas. The place looked like an asian dojo. The teacher talked about using your environment also. He mentioned how some of the walls were getting in the way. I assumed he wanted us to cut them up with a sword. He said if you can focus hard enough, you can go right through them. I leaned against the wall and focused. After about 5 seconds I sank like 5 inches into the wall.

I became lucid and wanted to try it again. I said to myself, "I am dreaming," over and over again. When I leaned on the wall, I fell right through and landed on my side. I was happy with that task so I moved on. I went to fly and took off. I wanted to see if I can do the broom technique with no broom. I held my hands out and pantomimed a broom but it didn't help my control or speed. I was able to level out for a bit, but flying required too much focus on my destination for me to enjoy the experience or take in my surroundings.

by , 07-09-2011 at 01:08 AM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)
(An amazing adventure, this morning. So I had become really interested in the new Dream World Academy concept, and wanted to give locating it in a lucid dream a shot. I wasn't really sure that I would have a lucid dream, but I got up early and had enough time to try a WBTB. With about 3 hours left to sleep, I came to the computer and browsed DV for a while, reading through the Academy thread once again. Then i lay be down and set my intention to recognize when I was dreaming. [Eidt:] By the way, I still have some journal entries to post, from the days and weeks before this, but I figured I would just start again from here, and I will post those previous dreams later.)

      07/08/2011
      Dream One (a):
"Portals: the Search for the Dream World Academy Begins" (Dream Chain)

It was night out, and I was in a type of old, harbor town, near the water. There were two teams of tactical military forces battling each other, throughout the streets, and I had been sneaking around in the dark - scrambling over rooftops and slipping through shadowy hallways - trying not to get discovered by these gunmen. At one point, I was running along the edge of a rooftop with one of the soldiers trailing behind me, wearing very modern and high-tech gear. When I came to the edge, I knew I had no choice but to try to jump for it, but I was in the air before I realized just how high up I was. My stomach turned as the street-lit road came up at me. In that last moment of panic, though, I recognized how unreal this situation was. On hope and desperation, I braced my hands and feet for impact and landed in a surprisingly relaxed crouch on the cobblestone(like) walkway. I was definitely dreaming. Immediately I remembered the goal of trying to find the Dream World Academy. Even though this area had a lot of close-set houses, there seemed to be many more dark hallways then actual doors. So my chances of finding a portal to the Academy weren't looking all that good. I did find a statue of an elephant or some other large creature, in a courtyard and, remembering the importance of touching things, to keep grounded in the dream, I climbed atop the statue and sat on its head, feeling the stone surface beneath me with my palms.

After some time, I found myself on the far side of the small town, still set close to the water. This was the opposite team's quarters, and they accepted me in as if I was automatically on their side, anyway. The way they ushered me in - as opposed to the way the other team was actually trying to capture/kill me - made me feel like I was already a member of their faction. Once I got accustomed to them, and things had settled down, I went exploring again. This place was basically an old restaurant, on the water. There were plenty of doors - bathrooms; closets; etc. - and I quickly got to work, opening them all and trying to find anything behind them which I wouldn't expect to find, otherwise. But, even when putting some will power and intent behind it, a bathroom was still a bathroom. A closet was just a closet. While moving through the quarters, I kept touching things; dragging my fingers along the walls and counters, just taking in the sensation of how the surfaces felt. I also made sure to keep looking at my hands, periodically, not wanting to lose the dream before I could meet my objective. After searching to no avail, I found myself back in the bathroom. Everything was still vivid, but I was losing lucidity, probably due to just getting daunted by the fruitless search. Something caused me to remind myself of my mission, though. I had almost forgotten. I was still dreaming, and I had to find the Academy. I looked briefly in the foggy bathroom mirror, but I didn't want to focus too much on my reflection. (I've had some pretty crazy encounters with my reflection, before, and didn't want to get side-tracked.) I left the bathroom and kept searching.

There are some parts here in which my memory seems to jump around. At one point, I was in the kitchen, which looked just like mine. It seemed to be day time outside now, and there was this really shady-looking cook in there with me. He made some type of threat to me and pulled a knife. I told him that he didn't want to try anything, because this was my dream, and I could crush him, if I wanted. I proved this by raising my hand and levitating some Tupper-ware off of the counter with telekinesis. Shocked and amazed, this cook instantly developed some freakish, homosexual crush on me. He casually slipped around behind me, embraced me, and kissed me on my cheek. Completely weirded out by this, I almost reached back and elbowed him square in the nose. I decided against it, though, and just slid out of his grasp, turning to face him defensively and making my way away from him, also not wanting to get caught up in fighting in this dream. Another fragment came when I found myself sitting in a residential garage, at night. There were headlights of a car beaming in on me, and two guys got out and began walking toward me, threateningly. My lucidity had begun waning, but it was still there. I reached out my hands and tried to push the oncoming men away from me with TK, but it didn't work. Uncontrollably, I questioned whether I was back in the real world. There was a fleeting moment, there, where I felt entirely stupid for trying to use TK on these guys, like I was some kind of wizard or something. I jumped up to my feet and ran like Hell.

(I woke up here, and saw that I still had about an hour and a half to sleep, so I lay still and relaxed, trying to drop myself back into the same dream.)

      Dream One (b):
I was back in the harbor town. I don't believe I WILDed, but I was already lucid, from my earliest recollection of this new dream. Moving along the docks at night, I had to stick to the shadows again, slinking my way passed the opposing team's sentries, and making it back to the HQ of my apparent allies. Still checking my hands and touching things, to keep the dream stable, I started searching around the restaurant again. Stepping into the dining area once more, I noticed that I had just passed a stunning woman, whom had grabbed my attention from the corner of my eye. I actually turned around in place, and looked back over to the wall, where she was sitting. She was a classy-looking brunette in an old-fashioned black dress and hat, sitting by herself. Smiling, I walked back over to her, leaning in close. She stared up at me, becoming visibly excited at how close my face was getting to hers. Again, she looked like she knew me, much like everyone on 'this side of the battle.'. There was an anxious recognition in her face - kind of like she and I knew each other very well, and she knew that we weren't supposed to be getting this close. (Now that I think of it, she reminded me a lot of Mal, from Inception.)

I could see her breathing heavier, the closer I got, and she just stared up at me. Finally, I kissed her. Nothing too crazy. I really wasn't trying to get caught up in LD sex, and I could see how easily that could have come next. She decided to tag along with me, though, and we moved on through the dining area. Still feeling a little, uh, randy?, I used some telekinesis to tug at the shirts and blouses of a few of the girls that were seated at nearby tables. I was never able to pull one of them off, but could only kind of tease them into moving a little bit. Moving further down this hallway, and headed back toward the kitchen area, we passed an older man; a waiter or host. I decided to ask some more DCs if they new about this Academy/castle, stopping the waiter and inquiring about it. He seemed to have at least some idea of this place I was speaking of, but really no information that helped us in finding it. In the kitchen area, still unable to find a portal, we came across an old T.V. Then, it was actually the woman, who came up with an ingenious idea. Why just look for doors? She turned on the T.V., which was only static, and she jus kind of motioned to it. I knew immediately what she was implying. Stepping forward, I put my hands out to the glass, slowly phasing into it. I had been through mirrors before, but never into a T.V. The white and black fray of static filled my view and completely enveloped me. I simply relaxed and went with it, trying to set the intention for this makeshift portal to transport me to the Academy.

I wound up in a jungle area, in the day time, still lucid. There was a stone slab of wall in front of me, and lush green vegetation all around. A small pit full of water sat off to one side, about 7 feet in diameter and filled with knotted ropes of vines and plant life, stretching down into some of the most crystal clear water I could imagine. I met another woman here, who was a bit of an Amazon, and very 'Earthy.' We got to talking about the Castle I was looking for, and she seemed to be well aware of it. She said that it was hidden back in the mountainous area behind the old harbor town, where the two opposing forces were battling. She also went more into detail about how varied the portals can be, saying that portals are everywhere. Whether or not they will take you to the Academy isn't guaranteed, but that they were everywhere. She pointed to the little well/water pit next to us, that I had been looking at earlier, and told me that it was a portal that would take me back to the harbor, and that I could continue my quest for the castle from there. I jumped into the waterhole, and sank, everything going dark for a moment, and then doing some generic, kaleidoscope-like tunnel transition.

I was back in the harbor, at night, coming up from beneath the water, somewhere way out in the lake or bay or whatever it was. I could see the layers of stone buildings, just off the water. I knew that the warring parties were still battling, and was going to continue to do my best to stay out of sight. While I was treading water, I could see a figure moving around, just beside me. It was still the dead of night, but there seemed to be some sort of soft light coming up from beneath the water, just enough to see that the silhouette was of a dolphin. It poked its head up near me, and I could see that its skin was actually as black as its silhouette was. I then began to get a little anxious, because I was in this huge body of water at night. I knew it would only be a matter of time before the sea monsters came out to play. So, focusing my mind for flight, I sort of 'surfed' my way forward through the water, and then up and out of it, hovering up onto one of the docks and setting out to find more portals. My flight was feeling very awkward, and my body kept wanting to defy my intention; floating in opposite directions, having trouble staying elevated, etc. I was able to float up to one of the high rooftops, and I grabbed onto the ledge, just on the outside of a staircase. Some of the 'enemy' team were assembling on this rooftop, and they then began walking down the stairway that I was hanging on the outside of. I ducked away behind the railing, hanging precariously off the edge, overlooking the street. They passed practically within inches of me while I watched them, through the stone banister, and one of them looked back to talk to his squad. When he did, I could have sworn that he looked dead at me...but he never said anything to alert his men.

Within this area of the harbor, I still had a hard time finding a lot of doors, so I went to searching for other 'types' of portals. I found what looked like a sewer drain, in the street, and figured that this could serve as a great portal. Setting the intention to show up somewhere within the academy, I jumped into the hole in the earth. Another Avatar-esque transition through a colorful tunnel, and I again found myself in the jungle setting, where I had earlier spoken to the Amazon woman, but she was nowhere to be found. I took another tunnel from this scene, and ended up back at the harbor town. Still not having any luck with doors, I just kept crawling into holes and dark paths, trying to find a portal that would lead me to the Academy. Throughout all this 'jumping,' I vaguely remember one moment where I showed up in some place where there was a kid around, whom I considered a threat, for some reason. I think he was going to alert the opposing team of my position. I got him side-tracked by asking him if he wanted to see some 'magic' and used pyrokinesis to light my hand on fire. He was enthralled by it, and I somehow used that distractions to escape the area. After another portal jump, I ended up back at the harbor for like the 4th time, only it was day time, this time. I wasn't really expecting to find the Dream World Academy in the daytime (I'm gonna have to ask if it's supposed to appear in the daytime or not), so I actually tried to make it night out, myself. I went through a hallway and commanded that it would be night time, when I emerged from the other side. Didn't work. So, I spent the next few moments hopping in portals and trying to find one that would bring me back to this harbor area in the night, so I could just fly to the mountains and look for the castle the old fashioned way.

I woke up before I was able to find anything, though.

      Lucid Dream 229: Pleasure Dealer
      Series: Sexcapades, Episode 8
      DILD

It was spring break. Me and a bunch of my friends were in some random city. The celebration going on in the streets and bars reminded me of Mardi Gras. It was even more over the top though. There were people having sex in the streets and in the bars, drugs were absolutely everywhere and there were no police to be found. It was crazy. I was with my friends Chris R, Cliff, Diddy, and Mike. I was smoking a blunt with two attractive females and things got interesting. I began making out with them both and one of them stopped and said, "I can't, I have a boyfriend," or something along those lines. She left and the other asked me if we could find a room somewhere. I told her that I was not paying for a room and I would just bang her right here in the bar. I bent her over the bar as I finished smoking the blunt. There was another female beside us who just sat there and watched. I thought it was a bit strange, but I kept f***ing anyway. Finally, this female walked over to us and whispered in my ear, "I'd like to give that a try." It turns out she was a porn star. The first girl left and I started railing the porn star. After a bit, she pulled away from me and started getting dressed. She told me that she didn't approve and she was done. She walked away and I put my pants back on.

I walked back outside and saw Chris R standing across the street. He told me to follow him and we entered a large building. It was some sort of club and Chris told me he owned it. I thought, "What? Chris doesn't own a club. What is going on here?" I started to suspect that I may be dreaming. Chris then looks at me and says, "Since this is a dream, I own the motha f***er!" I performed a quick nose pinch RC to confirm.

Chris was now sitting on the nearby couch with about five females on each side of him. He told me to take my pick. I told three of them to follow me. We walked up the nearby stairs and into a different section of the club. I put my hand on top of one of the girls' head. On cue, she crouched down and unzipped my pants. I messed around with these three for a while and returned to the top of the stairs. I yelled down at Chris, "Send a couple more up!" I then imagined a specific person and tried expecting her to be one of the two. It didn't work. Two other females came up and I sent them to "play" with the other girls. I the told Chris to specifically send up the girl I was wanting. I saw AB walking up the stairs and she looked gorgeous. I took her into the room where the other five girls were all playing naked twister. I began kissing AB and laid her on a bed in the corner of the room. I began f***ing her and after a bit, Diddy and Mike came into the room. Diddy said, "Quit wasting lucidity in here and lets go do some cool shit!" I agreed and left the room.

We were now outside and standing in the street. There was a river running beside the street as well. The scene had completely changed and we were in a more rural setting. I noticed there was a row of gigantic billiards (pool) tables. There was also a lattice fence running along the sides of the pool tables. Decorative plants were hanging from the lattice. We jumped up on the pool table and began running along the row of them. There must have been 1,000 tables lined up end to end. We finally came to the end of the row and jumped down off the tables. We were now in a fancy art shop. There were vases, expensive looking paintings, etc. I told Diddy that we should do some Assassin's Creed stuff. I began running up the wall and grabbing ledges that were conveniently placed around the shop. I ran up one wall and grabbed a glass shelf. The shelf came loose and I dropped back down to the ground with the shelf in my hand. The vases that were sitting on the shelf were still suspended in the air as if the shelf was still there. It was an interesting site. I slammed the glass shelf and shattered it on the ground. The vases then fell and shattered as well. I then had a false awakening.

I awoke and looked around me. I saw a river running to my left and realized I was sleeping on a pool table. Somehow, I didn't instantly catch that I was still dreaming. Mike and Diddy were standing there as well. I noticed that I was holding a toy boat in my hand. I looked at it for a moment and then looked around me again. I saw an actual boat going down the river and it looked exactly like my toy boat. It instantly kicked in and I realized I was still dreaming.

I flew out to the boat and landed in the water. I began jumping out of the water like a dolphin and followed the boat. After a bit, I flew up onto the boat and entered the door into the boat's interior. I was in a large room that absolutely could not have actually been inside this small boat. I notice my friend Hammer and Christoff were in the room. I told them both we were dreaming, but they didn't believe me. I then began performing super jumps in the room and said, "I couldn't do this if we were dreaming." They agreed and I noticed someone else had entered the room. It was a guy wearing only a shirt and nothing else. He was making strange noises and I noticed his ass was made of human hands. Or rather, it looked as if someone had fused hands into his ass. They were underneath a thin layer of skin and were moving around in a strange manner. It was an odd site and the guy started telling jokes. I can't remember what the jokes were, but they were extremely funny. I awoke while listening to the jokes and wondering what they hell happened to his ass.

Lucid Dream 230: School House Rampage
      Series: Friends, Episode 12
      DILD

I was in high school with my friend Mike B, Cliff, and my brother. We were skipping class and were hanging out in a large storage closet. They were playing against each other on Nintendo DS'. I was looking through old lost and found boxes to see if I could find anything cool. I found a box full of old NES and SNES games. I was excited and started going through the games to see if there was anything rare in there. I ended up finding some awesome games when a teacher busted into the storage room and started yelling at us. The teacher was actually Oprah Winfrey. She stopped fussing and said, "What is it that you guys are playing anyway?" The informed her that they were playing Mario Kart and I could tell she was interested. I talked her into skipping class as well and playing some Mario Kart with us. She finally stayed and pulled out her own DS and began playing. I went back to searching for old video games in the lost and found boxes. I noticed that the SNES games I had picked out kept changing. I was sad for a moment when I realized that I was dreaming and these games were not actually going to go into my collection. I then performed a nose pinch to confirm.

I turned to Mike, Cliff, my brother, Oprah, and a random male DC who was now there. I said, "We are lucid. Cut that shit off and lets go do something." I shoulder rammed the store room door and busted it open. Everyone went their separate ways except for the random DC guy. He told me he didn't know what lucidity was and he was just going to follow me. I told him a few quick things about lucid dreams and started showing him some cool stuff. I phased through the corner of the wall and came out the other side. He tried, but got stuck and I had to pull him out. I told him to take a running start, but he slammed into the wall and fell backwards again. I then said we would try something easier, like a door. We both took off running and dove headfirst into a classroom door. We slammed up against it and crumpled at its mercy. The door flew open, but we definitely didn't quietly pass through it like we had hoped. The classroom was full and all the students were staring at us.

The teacher at the front of the class didn't even seem to notice us. I jumped up on one of the students' desk and began jumping from desk to desk without touching the floor. I was sort of making a game of it. Once I started this line of thought, students began pushing me and throwing objects in my path. I dodged most objects and managed to stay on top of the desks with a few close calls. I noticed the students were in the middle of taking a test, but instead of paper, they were all writing on CDs with sharpies. I noticed an attractive girl in one of the desks. Somehow I knew her name was Zilo. I walked up to her, kissed her and told the entire class to "watch this." I then took off running and dove headfirst through the window of the classroom. I passed through the window like a ghost and the random DC guy followed my lead. We were now in a different room.

There was a mirror in this room and I told the DC you could pass through these as well. I placed my hand on the mirror and started to push. My hand sunk into the mirror and I stepped through it with the rest of my body. The DC followed and we had arrived in a different room with more mirrors. These were high off the ground, so I floated up to one and passed through it like it was vapor. A teacher had followed us through this mirror and was searching for the DC who was with me. She was looking to get him in trouble, so we ran. We met up with Cliff and ran to the front of the school.

We were exiting the front of the building and I thought we had managed to escape. The DC with us jogged out in the front lawn and was immediately surrounded by policeman. He was then gunned down from about 20 different angles. The front was now full of people and policeman. There were benches and picnic shelters set up around the area. I shouted, "You all have f***ed up now! I shall kill all who fired a shot." I grabbed a butter knife that was laying on one of the tables and began running around the lawn slitting throats. Some of them didn't cut well and I had to sort of saw their throats. After I had sliced a bunch of DCs, I turned around and looked at what I had done.

Most of them were not dead yet and were struggling for air. There were family members panicking and trying to help out the victims. I heard random words of comfort like, "It will be ok," "Just hold on, I'll get an ambulance," "I will always love you," etc. Cliff walked up to me and gave me a speech. It was something about doing terrible things and there was no way out of it now. He suggested that we both jump off the Cliff together and end all of the pain now. I knew jumping off would end the dream, so I was hesitant. I took another look around and the scene was absolutely tragic. It was full of suffering and I genuinely felt bad for what I had done. I agreed and me and Cliff walked to the edge of a cliff (lol). We both jumped off this massive cliff side and I felt free as I fell to the depths below. It was a nice feeling. We slammed hard into the ground, knowing it was going to wake me up, so I prepared to DEILD.

      Lucid Dream 231: Canine Talents
Series: Land of Dreams, Episode 13
      DEILD

I felt myself wake up and transitioned smoothly back into the dream state. I was in my room, so I got up and voe head first out of my window. I started performing super long jumps across the landscape. After several of these, I took flight. I flew around for and decided to examine a house below. I landed in the hard and walked up to the window of the house. It was dark inside, so I pecked on the window to see what would happen. I heard a growl to me left and quickly looked over. There was a dog snarling its teeth at me. A bit amused, I decided to run and let it chase me. I took off running and the dog followed. I could hear it barking viciously as it chased me through the neighborhood.

I was just about to get bored with it when the dog split into three separate dogs. I began performing parkour-like tricks avoiding the three beasts. After a bit, I turned and put my hand up in the "stop" position. All three dogs stopped running and sat down in front of me. They now looked friendly, so I whistled and held out my hand. I began petting the dogs as I sat down in a nearby lounge chair. I watched as one of the dogs began molding the other one into something. It was reall strange watching a dog walk around on two legs and mold another dog into a gun. I picked up the gun and noticed it was musket pistol. It only had a single shot, so I fired it at the third dog. It was a clean hit and the dog yelped and toppled over. On cue, the original dog walked over and began molding this dog as well. He molded it into a pair of binoculars. I picked them up and looked through them. The viewing range on this set of binoculars was amazing. I looked out at a mountain in the distance and could see animals frolicking in the woods. I observed the environment through these binoculars for a bit, but unfortunately woke up during the process.
