I'm on a road going through a snowy pine forest. The road is covered in frost. False memory claims that I'm on Saturn's moon. I doubt that. I feel further away and I can't see Saturn. I climb a hill and get off the road. There's a holy tree and two humanoid DCs there. The tree is white, big and has no leaves. Reminds me of Game of Thrones. Lucidity slowly creeps in. One of the DCs throws a special looking mortar and pestle in the air. It's their holy symbol and it can't touch the ground. The DC asks if I could help him. Maybe put the mortar and pestle in the orbit so it never falls. "Sure" I say and grab the items. I jump up and fly to space without effort. I see the blue hue of the upper atmosphere and the darkness of space beyond it. I see the horizon starting to curve more and more as I rise. I try to guess what altitude is good for a stable orbit. "I'm probably a bit too high." I make my way down to a good level and start accelerating. I reach my top speed pretty soon and I'm not happy with it. Underneath me I see a medieval countryside and spot the Norwegian Flag. Not the first thing I expected to see on an alien planet tbh. I relax my body and focus on more speed. I get a small boost and see a massive castle in the distance. It is so huge that I have to look up to see the top of the main towers. The walls disappear into the horizon. The whole thing is about one third of the planet's surface area. My top speed is still too little. I extend my left arm in front of me and hold one finger up, stating "GEAR 1!" I raise another finger and state "GEAR 2!". I feel a significant speed boost. I'm getting closer to the castle wall. I keep counting up and accelerating, until I reach gear 9 and the castle walls block my path. I slow down and fly up. I appear to be at some kind of dam. I see three massive blue holograms on the wall next to the dam. Some sort of ads, it looks like. Alright. I think I'll fly back to the guy and say that it's not possible to put this item into orbit due to the castle. I wake up speeding up again. YEAH! I had fun. Great to have a lucid dream like this, compared to the struggles I usually experience.
First remembered dream of the new year (so two nights ago, Dec. 31-Jan. 1): I was at an art store, possibly Michael's or something similar, buying supplies. My calculus teacher was there, working as a cashier for some reason. In the dream, I had a memory of recently receiving a math lesson from him, like the day before or something. I asked him for some clarification on a concept, and he explained it. So essentially he was doing two jobs at the same time. I also saw lots of girls in the shop wearing DeviantArt T-shirts and some guys as well. Then, it faded into watching some sailors load stuff into a ship. My dream journal reads this, exactly: "Apparently, people who wear jeans are more depressed because sailor boys had a depressing job, despite appearing happy, and they wore Levis and black jackets." This was apparently a thought that occurred to me during the dream which seemed perfectly rational at the time. :p Then Jafar from Aladdin appeared, cackling evilly. It freaked me out so much that I woke up. Silly, as in waking life he's just a fun Disney villain. But I think the cackle was what did it. Or the spontaneity. Last night, I have the following note on my phone at 6:06 AM: "New traveling companion who exists neither in space nor in time." I was excited to meet this individual, but then my alarm went off. -_- Ah. I really don't want to start college again in a week. Not that I dislike it or anything, but the stress and lack of sleep....aaaaugh!
Happy 2017! So, I've just been focusing on getting lucid. After Caiocontieri talked about wanting space dreams on IRC, I decided to incubate some too. Autosuggestion worked nicely. 1.1 Crash Landing in another Universe I am the commander of my own space station, just like I visualized before bed. The station is massive and capable of travelling from a universe to another. We are orbiting a new planet with alien life. I want to be part of the first party to land on it. I take two crew members with me to a spaceship with three seats. The ship looks like a bit like the one in Star Wars. The ship Luke flew when taking down the AT-AT. We get in and the ship is slowly being lifted out of the hangar. We are on a ramp and we see space, the planet and part of the station in front of us. The locking mechanism is malfunctioning and our ship starts sliding down the ramp. "Oh fuck!" I yell as I look at the part of our station we are falling towards. It's at least 1km until we hit the station and several kilometers below that is another level that we might hit. We hit the station and start spinning out of control as we fall towards the planet. We are still picking up speed. This is going to hurt. I try to calmly put on my seat belt, which is difficult thanks to the ship spinning. After I get the seat belt, all I can do is wait and hope for a miracle. Maybe we land in an ocean or something. The ship softly stops just before hitting the ground. A large red alien man with tentacles used telekinesis to stop our ship. We are in an alien city. The atmosphere is denser and deep blue. It's also toxic to humans. We hold our breath. A lot of humanoid aliens rush to help us. I try to communicate that we need air. My crewmate tries to draw this on a piece of paper in a way they could understand. I also tell them that we came from another universe. I take a few breaths as a test. Breathing doesn't hurt, but I still believe it's toxic.
I am in Fussen, Germany. Duplicates of Neuschwanstein Castle surround me. Why is my dreaming self so stupid and not realise how ridiculous it was. I then take plane trips all around the world. Eventually, I am loaded onto a rocket and lauched to a crowded space station. I feel I have special piority for room, but no body pays attention. A vague dream about being bullied... Oh, I have stopped the bizarre 'rituals'. A 'voice' in my head says I have do certain things in waking life to have a lucid, and the results are a blank head when waking up. I did not listen to it, and my dreams are back.
I was super tired yesterday, so went to bed at 8 pm - 3:20 am DR at 11:37pm I'm outside, but in the city. Standing with few people, when I hear a couple of sonic booms. We look up and an astronaut is sitting on a ejection-like seat, being shot up in the air. His uniform is silver or white. I understand, that he goes up maybe half way, where he will enter some kind of a vehicle and continue with that. Couple of small, maybe 3-4 feet in diameter parachutes float down. I touch one of the canopes, that is has colored vedges on it, like a classic umbrella would. I touch it and I feel so happy, because this is such a special opportunity. Parachutes brought down small silever metallic cylinder with information. Me and some others take the parachutes and walk into a nearby building to turn them in to space scientists. (I watched Hunger Games just before bed and a very similar parachute took supplies to the players.) I'm holding a large USB key and we are joking, that if I put that into the capsule, it would override one mission with some older mission. Feeling from the whole dream is happiness and lighthearted joking, and something special happening.
A small indian boy shows me a old dusty book. He opens it and presses his thumb strongly on my forehead. Light peels from my forehead and I am a grey void. I realise I am dreaming. I feel a warm sensation all over my body. Soon a dream forms. I am at the end of my bed. I look out the window and see what looks like the milky way, but inverted! I fly out the window, and swim through these clouds of gas. It is wonderful. I eventually 'wake' and thank the indian boy. Suddenly I panic that this book could be put to bad purposes and I tell the boy to make sure no one with bad intentions gets it. I spend the rest of the dream running away from the french gangster who wants the book.
I was in a cabin of sorts. I was with friends. I baked/cooked a cake for another friend whose birthday won't be on till after a few months. I thought of putting it in the fridge. For some reason, they had some reasons not to put it in some fridge located somewhere. One was in that cabin but for some reason, we had to move. Something about disturbing the spirits. We also thought of putting in the house fridge but won't the person find it easily? We "went out" of the place using a special key and a special door. We traveled through the spirit realm (why?). And we walked and avoided and escaped the malevolent spirits of the realm. There were two particular spirits we avoided: one was a male shadowy figure that follows us and one white ragged woman who screams and chases us. I remember hiding behind some crates and avoiding her. There were also some "puppy spirits." At least they looked like puppies. They were used by a teacher and some children to practice escaping from. There "attack" in swarms. I was going through a door when a swarm rained in. I led them out the door with difficulty but without any negative emotions whatsoever. Somehow, I was caught and I felt my physical body turn to the left. I was told in the dream it's wrong and somehow spirits can enter that way. This part happened somewhere in between. There's no linearity in the dream (like in some dreams). I was with a family flying through space. We went through zero space, and we've "heard" about some delays in such a travel but thought they were rare occurrences and don't have any serious repercussions. There was a boy (third-person) in this family who seems to have such a delay and asked where the others were and what took them so long. For the rest, it was an almost instant flight. I was that boy (first person). We were being chased by other space fighters (I don't know the name of the small space ships used to harass bigger ships without causing a lot of damage due to the energy shielding). I had a hard time with the controls. I turn too fast so instead of arcing back, I end up facing the enemy almost face-to-face with our ship. The rest were away. I was eventually able to control it enough so I see... stars and space and space stuff instead of a poorly modeled image of the fighter or the nearby planets and moons. I felt elated. My ship was destroyed. I was possessed. I was in a familiar place. I think it's the place in the "first" part of the story. I was kept in a room, and I felt different. I felt like I was glowing and there's a tingle throughout my "skin." I overheard that a woman (a friend?) was partially possessed. I went out/through the walls and doors and approached her in a room. I "absorbed" whatever was possessing her and I left. I felt stronger. I think this is a separate story but somehow still connected to the possession dream. I was at home. It was evening and very dark. We went home and closed the gate, but somehow, someone forgot to close one of the two gates. There's like another perimeter around the house, and there are two boys/guys just outside the inner perimeter, which means the outer one was open. A child was talking but I could barely understand. Mom was saying something too complaining about the other gate not being locked. I was outside the house. It was morning, or at least daytime. Someone was teaching me how to fly properly. I was able to "jump" on the first level with his help and then jumped the next two after. I looked up and saw the clouds. I was elated. I wanted to fly about the clouds and stay there. I was partially lucid and happy to be able to experience that. Everything was falling apart. Buildings were crumbling down. Alien attack? It was like a game in 3D. I used my possession skills to hold back falling buildings and debris. I felt powerful. I woke up feeling powerful and in control. --- Notes: - I went to sleep feeling down. After a few days of anxiety due to an overwhelming addition to my required subjects to take to finish school, I had my previous dream that really brought me down. I could barely do anything so I went to sleep. That was around 7:30 pm. I woke up around 10:00 pm. I thought the dream was so long I could swear I woke up around 3 or 4 am. - I felt powerless these several months, from failing to finish some courses I need to proceed with my long-term plan to being unable to complete Inktober or start NaNoWrimo (again). I think I was trying to regain control by putting an enforced structure (school). - There were a lot of mental chats that had no image. I was talking to myself about the meaning of the dream within the dream. A short while after(?) waking up but still lying down, I thought about how I reclaimed a part of myself (through possession and self-destruction) and it made me (feel?) stronger. Questions: How do I know this feeling of control is not as illusory as the feeling of lack of control? Both have real-life repercussions if wrong, and even if right, how do I distinguish what's within and without my control? How do I know I'm making the right decisions if my senses and mind betray me? For now, back to basics: simplify.
29.10.2016 (DILD) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I had a "Fake WILD", a WILD within a dream. This has happened to me before, but I forget if I usually consider it a DILD or a WILD. I think I'll consider it a DILD this time. I was in a hotel with my girlfriend. We went to bed and for some reason I knew I would have a lucid dream. I closed my eyes and right away felt SP set in. Vibrations were not as strong as they usually are, but they were there. I waited a few seconds and then sat up in my bed. I was not in my dream bedroom, but rather in the hotel bed. I stood up and did a reality check by plugging my nose and breathing. Air didn't get in as easily as it usually does, but I figured it was just a bit stuffed. I rubbed my hands to stabilize and read something on the wall. I remembered the Task of the Month. I put both my hands in my pockets and pulled out a slingy from my left pocket, and a pair of dice from the right pocket. I laughed and then jumped through the window, I phased through it. I started flying towards space. For a second I thought I was in the void, but then I saw stars everywhere. I started flying as fast as I could and they became distorted. I stopped and saw a blue planet, I knew it wasn't Earth. I flew towards it and entered its stratosphere and then decided to take away my flying, see if I could make myself invincible. I was falling fast but could sorta glide using my body position. There were several beautiful green islands before me, scattered in a deep blue ocean. I aimed towards one of them and at this point I was falling so fast that it became bigger and bigger exponentially. I landed on my feet, and there was an empty *POP* sound as I landed. I left a crater at the landing site of about 10 meters in diameter, I was unharmed. I walked to the shore, and looked towards the endless ocean, into the horizon. The sky was a mix of blue, and purpleish vanilla. I put my hands stretched out in front of me, and started waterbending. I made swirls in the air, made the shape of a dragon and had it dance in the air. Then I shot a big stream of water straight up in the air and made it explode, it was beautiful. I thought of what I should do next, and had a FA. The dream continued non-lucidly.
Flying through space on a dire mission. We are about to prepare for a war. A giant space station is created as we sweep in through space. It is made of many curving arms which are formed like the vapour trails of a plane as we move into place. The shape is like that of a massive many tendrilled sea creature. It is transparent and beautiful. I am praying that there won't need to be a war and this though is eventually transported to the person a stocky balded headed man, who is in charge. He stops dead in his tracks as he is unpacking something and says mission cancelled, but we might as well still unpack in readiness as we're here. I am much relieved. In the main area of the central hub? the officers wearing nice pink and some yellow with matching id badges are a bit miffed as the new recruits are allowed to sit up near the captain, lolz. The captain is a cross between some star wars guy and dr who, he seems very fatherly. I have a chat with him in his private courters, apparently he is my father or something. I never knew real love due to the characteristics he inherited from his parents. Meanwhile down on a nearby planet, I am now someone else who is being chased and so am keeping a low profile. I try to catch a ride with some people transporting illegals up to the space station. We are in some high walled area and they are taking off over the walls, flying strange craft that look like wagons driven by sand people and are making strange "ooh hee dee" noises.

I don't really have much to say about this lucid. I was walking in this passageway with bushes to the right of me and a hill into forest to the left of me. I realized this was a dream. I started to run and look at my hands becoming lucid. The dream turned into a realistic reality. The dream started to shake. I shouted "ILLUMINATE" and the dream flickered. I shouted it again and the dream stabilized. I decided I wanted to fly. I remember I was thinking about how people can't fly in their dreams if they doubt themselves so I believed I was going to be able to do it and then I started to fly forwards. I flew into the blue sky forwards with the field under me. Eventually I turned around and fly in the other direction. I was so amazed by the view, I thought it was so real. At the end of the lucid I started to float up into space and saw the earth underneath me. And then I woke up.
(Alternia is the planet of an alien species known as "trolls", from the webcomic "Homestuck") Before all this, I vaguely recall in my dream going on Bay12forum and finding that a new version of Dwarf Fortress was released. My dream is set after the ending of the webcomic, Homestuck. The main characters have settled in a village. I am Vriska Serket, one of the characters. For some reasons I am seen as a bad person in this dream and so I can't live in the village. There are snow everywhere and the village is consisted of straw huts and bamboo houses you would expect to see in seaside communities, except that it is in a... tundra? taiga? instead. (There are trees) When I try to approach the village, Bastion (from the game Overwatch) who was situated on the perch of one of the bamboo houses, shoots at me with his machine gun, so I escapes and hides in the thick snow. At some point the dream transitions to an adult troll, an alien, landing in a building in what I believe is Beach City (from Steven Universe), there was some links of him to Steven Universe but I'm not sure what. In my dream, he was an adult troll, even though he had fruit-green skin and was completely hairless, like a Namekian from Dragon Ball Z. We end up being in a car with him. I am now John Egbert (also from Homestuck, getting tired of my references yet? I didn't ask for this either) and the car is travelling through space to Alternia. I ask him a lot of questions. I don't remember most of them, except that when I ask him about Her Imperious Condescension (the Empress) he does not appear to be much of a fan of her. When we reach Alternia, we must present ourselves to a man, who is apparently the highest ranking officials who would deign to deal with visitors. We have to dance for him, and the dance was supposed to have been prepared, but I didn't know what to do. I became semi-lucid and I "cheats" and goes on autopilot. I dances very well and some people throw money at me. My dream transitions again. I recall meeting a small shapeshifting creature, who apparently gets special "birthday candles" when it is older. The dream transitions to a third person perspective of Route 66, a map in Overwatch. Overwatch heroes run over and are stunned by a multitude of giant pink birthday candles that explode into harmless but dazzling pink light.
There was more prior to what I recall, but as usual I couldn't remember except some vague bits about reading excerpts of writing in a manor. Then me and other people were observing a room in a manor which had turned into the void, or rather infinite space. Everything in it is utter darkness and you know if you went inside you'll fall through the infinite blackness forever. At some point not long after that, I was Satan himself. Not the horned beast, mind you, more like Professor Woland (Satan in the novel Master and Margarita). Either way, chicanery was afoot, and I was going around scamming and tricking people, one I can remember being me taking over an empty manor, and as a police inspector came to visit (presumably because the previous owner met an unfortunate end) I disguised myself as the butler to receive him, and left him as he went to the Master's study so that I can disguise as the master of the house. All of the Satan sequence happened in a retro pixel game perspective, much like The Last Door games. Some time later, I was in a temple, or I assume at this point it was already a temple in my dream. I was assaulted by the gorilla, I could feel the text being narrated by a certain friend of mine who occasionally write erotica, and I used the tranquilizer to escape but the tranq dart only served as aphrodisiac to the gorilla's weird biology. Guess what happened next. I was on the bottom. Also Wikipedia talked in my head about the virtues of a gorilla's reproductive organs. When I left the satisfied gorilla to clean myself I wiped up with a towel and swaddled myself in it to find clean clothes. It is at this point I realize I'm in a buddhist temple. I went to the carpark and met my mom who doesn't seem to take note of me being in just my towel, and she presumably said something but I couldn't remember. I looked in the car for clothes but there were only sweets.

I am a scientist; short, and dressed in a white lab coat. My basement is a concrete laboratory in which I am testing wormholes. The black hole is generated. I throw a penny into it in order to see if it works, my eyes fixated on the camera I had set up at a location in the desert. A wormhole appears, just as I suspected, and consumes all the sand in the area, and I notice a single penny come out of the wormhole. All of a sudden, sand fills my basement; the black hole dissipated into some weird black mechanical ball with buttons. I barely manage to escape with the strange device without being suffocated. After splitting the ball, a massive, complex, and utterly green wireframe is revealed. "I... I solved all of humanity's problems!" I shouted, laughing. An unspecified many years later, there is a space station with the words, "<my name that you probably don't know> memorial: a History of Faster Than Light Travel," engraved on a sign attached to the top(according to my perspective) of the space station. After that, it's a rather slow fade back into reality ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm glad I had this dream; it taught me a lot about the desire I had apparently hidden deep in my subconscious, away from even myself. Specifically, the thirst that I only knew about after having this dream, the deep, utterly human desire to be recognized with respect from doing something that I love to do. I don't generally like any attention, but this dream made me realize that, even I , the silent little weirdo who would always distance myself from others, wanted to be recognized, no matter how much I believe otherwise.
Cyberman I remember that I was outside during the day and there was a metal robot thing that kind of reminded me of the cybermen from Doctor Who. It was chasing me slowly, I turned to run away and it teleported in front of me. I tried scrambling away and then woke up. Interstellar I watched Interstellar for the first time a couple nights ago and it inspired this dream. I was in a spaceship but there were aliens on board, I had to get my suit on so I could open the hatchway to outside and still be able to breathe or something. The area I was in was pretty much a laboratory, and the alien that was chasing me kind of reminded me of a two-legged triceratops, there was also an elephant that started chasing me. I clambered over tables trying to fix my suit on as the creatures were chasing me and then woke up.
Dream - Sky Beam It's a post apocalyptic dream set in a scifi futuristic setting. I remember a part where I have a vision, a scene where I can see Earth from space and a huge beam of energy erupts from the Earth. It's a premonition about the end of the world which will occur in a few days. There was some kind of war against aliens which is why it's post-apocalyptic. I'm in a place that resembles my parents house, there's a bunch of survivors here and they're grouped together having some kind of discussion about how to live from now on. I walk up on top of a huge boulder and address the crowd, knowing that they won't believe me if I tell them we have to leave Earth. "I know you won't understand now, but in a few days time it will all be cleared' (I said something like that in a very heavy tone, it felt super intense). I also spotted in the distance a large beam of a different colour shooting into the sky, I knew it wasn't the same as the one in my premonition. There's a crashed old spaceship from the war with the aliens that we can escape on, but we need to work together to rebuild it. Dream - Force field I only remember a little about this dream.. It was a similar setting except by an arid cliff wall with the sun beating down on me and a group of people. There was a force field protecting our locale, I had to throw some kind of force field grenade outside it or something, can't really remember this part.
