    1. First full LD- vivid clarity

      by , 03-21-2012 at 05:48 PM
      NON-DREAM · NOTES · DREAM · LUCID ·

I have just moved to a new town, where my family and I have moved into a drab, grey apartment. I went next door to visit the neighbors, and to offer to babysit to earn some pocket money.
For some reason, I realised I was dreaming (Light switch failure?) and suddenly the world around me burst into colour, green paint lining the room and cyan skies above. Everything was so vibrant and vivid. I spin around to increase clarity as the scene changes and I jump out the window.
I attempt to fly, but fail and freefall to the ground. I land with little impact, by an abandoned warehouse by a lime green field and try to materialise a broom. One appears, but I cannot fly.

I give up and head out across the fields into town. I see hordes of civilians rushing somewhere, and I want to find out why so I run with superspeed to catch up. I gain tunnel vision and everyone else around me are blurs in slow motion. I join the crowd and run ahead to the front where a little brunette girl names pandora is dancing, skipping and selling her charms as the villagers follow behind her. I'm not too impressed and I hold out my hand with the intent to create some charms. Suddenly I feel as if weighted objects are tumbling out of my hand and into my hand, as long, lime and rose green tubes charms appear in my hand, almost jumbled masses before they form into charms.
I try to create something else, but black liquid oil pours into my hands and a bystander claims that it is liquid chakra.
      ----

I am in a comfy, rustic log cabin with a roaring fire and musky green sofas. Some of my friends are there. I tell Skye that she is dreaming andshe looks shocked, mutters "oh crap" and fades away. Kyra doesn't believe me, even after I grow an extra arm and can see myself in the third person, almost ghostly.
I grow bored and soon find the world fading so i spin and walk into a grey room with machinery. Wake.
    2. First Lucid

      by , 02-13-2012 at 01:02 AM (LMR's Mental Adventures)
Me and about five other people are in front of a medium sized tree in my grandma's front yard. Then I randomly say this is a DREAM!!! I then look at a leaf on the tree and actually see the pollen on the leaf. I run half way to the back yard and remember to try a spell. I didn't even know what the spell was supposed to do but it failed. Then I run around the house and somebody who I don't even really talk to comes around the corner and starts screaming in the distance for my dream guide but then I woke up. It was awesome
    3. I can't drive

(Note: for this post and future posts, I will only be posting lucid dreams here. (Too time consuming otherwise)

      NON-LUCID LUCID

      Identification: (No. 8) I can't drive
Time Recorded: 7:30, Date not recorded (presumably 09-2010)
      Genre: Disaster
      Character(s): Mariella R.
Method(s): WBTB used before dream at 5:50. MILD Visualisation
      Lucid: Yes (DILD)

I am sick and spending most of the day in bed. I am watching T.V in bed, Grandma comes in with a computer. On the screen is one of my old illustrations scans of a nautiloid mollusk. She tells me that she thinks my illustration is ''very good''.
Later I decide I am going to drive to the hospital. I am in the back-seat of the car and the car is driving itself using the G.P.S for direction. After a while I notice the car started to be following a car infront of me, so I work out that that car must be going to the hospitol also. I climb into the front seat and take control of the steering wheel, I think it would be good practice for driving for when I get my driving licence. I keep following the car infront of me until we arrive at a gate that was partially opened. The car infront of me is slightly smaller and is able to scrape through, I realize my car is too big, so I am about to open the door so I can get out of the car and open the gate wider. The car rolls forwards and smashed the gate down. I quickly drive away and look behind me in the car. There is a policeman who is yelling ''we need to close down the road''.
At this moment I realise that I cannot drive, and therefore I must be dreaming!

    4. One of my First Lucids, Includes Derranged Soil

by , 08-28-2011 at 05:01 PM (Lyrics to Lunacy)
      So this was probably one of my first Lucids, and I've only recently found it again. Here it goes;

I wound up in the middle of my house's backyard, a big open area of grass, hardly any obstacles. Very big, and very flat. It was daytime.

I haven't seen the few trees in this yard so healthy looking for a long time.
I paused, and pondered the maple tree across from me a bit further.

That's because, I thought, it is winter.

So this is a dream, then. Great! I should fly. I've never flown before, I wonder what it will be like.

I remembered the brief spark of lucidity I had about a month ago in one of my dreams. I was indoors and I tried to fly by smashing a hole in the ceiling. I hurt myself so much I woke up with a headache.

So I should be more careful this time.

      When I fly, I thought, I will feel the wind brushing against me. I will hear the air resistance. I will see my surroundings as I am above them. I will smell and taste clean air. The climate will be a warm with a breeze. I fully believed myself, then I began focusing less on what I want it to feel like, and more on doing it. I was walking the perimeter of the fence, scanning for an open are to start flying. I found it momentarily. It was a somewhat narrow space between the side of my fence and the side of my white, crumbling shed. Narrow, but all I needed was forward room. I have never flown before, it was just instinct. I ran swiftly forward, arms sharp behind me in a 30 degree angle, as though cutting through air. As I ran I thought;

Gravity does not exist in dreams. Not this one. Not in my dreams. I will not allow physics to restrain me, that would be for fail noobs, and since I'm a pr0 h4x0R I have full control over my dreams, especially with my temporarily acquired cocky gamer attitude. And I will make myself fly.

I said this with full confidence and determination, especially after the last lucid dream. That one with me smashing my skull against the ceiling in attempt to fly. At this, I looked up. No ceiling. Perfect. One thing I might add; while I was thinking, my dream seemed to slow down. When I started focusing on flying, it was at correct speed again. Weird.

      I jumped, and I had my first successful flight. Sure enough, I felt what I expected to feel. I flew to the three fourths the height of my pecan tree. I flew above my puny one-floor house, and faced the street. Now I wanted to fly over the street. At the intersection of the street I live on, I saw a large pile of dirt. A random thought came to mind;

It's a good thing I'm laying in bed.

Then the weird parts happen. The dream starts to destabilize, then the pile of dirt started to... talk to me. It communicated using telepathy.

"You are not in bed, child, you are really here. I waking life."

Sleepwalking? Perhaps. Better safe than sorry, I thought. Then I purposefully awakened myself.
I lay in bed. About six 'o' clock. No crossroads. That mean pile of dirt lied to me. I facepalmed myself for allowing myself to wake myself up, but I had a joyful feeling nevertheless.
    5. [LUCID] My First Lucid! (Short)

by , 08-08-2011 at 11:56 AM (The Lion Within)
I was running through doors, with a small kid, around 7. Coming out from Hogwarts to someone's 'normal' livingroom. I tried several times to get out, but many of the doors were locked. I started panicking and was about to have a panic-attack when I just stopped, and realized I was dreaming. I just calmly walked out a door that was once locked and started exploring a street, the small kid still by my side. I must have got over-excited because the dream just faded into another one.
    6. Drug Dealers at Chucky Cheese, and lightning in my hand (First Lucid)

      by , 07-19-2011 at 08:06 PM
      DREAM NONDREAM LUCID

Just a side note; I had basically taken a break from lucid dreaming via WILDs, but had been practicing ADA, and this is just proof that it works wonders. That and that being chased by cops is a dream sign.

My dream started out in late after noon, with me walking down a large hill towards an abandoned set of buildings. I had intel that there was a group of dealers selling weed in the abandoned Wendy's, so I had gone to investigate. When I got there I was searched by a large group of angry black men, before I was put in a line to wait for my weed. But I got bored and left. So I headed out and towards an abandoned Chucky Cheese. I got there and talked to one of the ladies and knew they were selling weed, so I went back to check out their sales, when I turned to one of the ladies in this next room to warn her there was a cop coming. As soon as he was in the room I ran for one of the side exits. As soon as I got outside, I heard sirens and ran for it. It was at this moment I realize I was dreaming, and said so. So I stopped running. One of my parent's friends from church was using an ATM, and waved at me, so I attempted to use Kamehameha, but that didn't do anything, so I walked along. I tried jumping several times, but gravity seemed way too high and it hurt to jump, so I wandered in to an opening in one of the walls and found my self at Hogwarts, where my friend Julia said, "Don't get eaten by the trees." I nodded and smiled at her, then looked towards the sky. The amount of stars visible was out standing and I was in awe at the amount I could see. I thought at the sky, "I wish for lightning in my hand." Lightning streaked across the sky in space, and then down into my hand. Every time I opened my fist, I'd let out a thunder bolt. I let a few fly in rapid secession, and then saw many statues of Zeus, because I felt like him and started thinking of him. I then shot Zeus in the forehead and then turned around, but I woke up.

    7. Hockey Dream (First one I ever remembered)

      by , 06-05-2011 at 09:51 AM
      Tonight I dreamt about hockey.
It all started off on the hockey field, mostly on our part of the field. So my team was defending.
I was the only one there, the other members in the team weren't close enough to help me defend.
So, I was defending by myself, and I was already in a crappy situation, but when I looked down to my hands, I was holding a pencil!
And I actually managed to defend with the pencil! So I took over the ball, and went to offence solo style.
Still using the pencil, I was running, but running was incredibly hard, I felt sort of disabled. Yet eventually I convinced my mind to make me run,
I ran faster and faster, flying past everyone (Even members of my team, I didn't pass the ball at all, and I scored!
Then I was tired and I just walked off the field, and strangely enough I noticed half of my team followed me...
It was kinda cool, they saw me as a leader
After like 10 minutes of relaxing, I felt like it was time to get back into the game and score again.
I ran onto the field (Struggling to run yet again) but I took control over the ball again, running was a lot easier this time!
      I noticed I didn't have a pencil anymore, but a playing card!
I kinda bent it, shoved it half under the ball, and sort of shot it, but like in a curving motion, going up and falling down again.
And it was a horrible shot, but I scored yet again!
I felt awesome, and from there I don't remember anything from the hockey part.

The next thing I remember is me being in my backyard, at the pond.
I remember thinking about the hockey match, and being like, how could that have possibly been real? Am I dreaming? I was really hoping I was, because I have been trying to lucid dream for a while. And it's not been working out so far.
I did a reality check, but it failed. I pressed the fingers of my right hand into the palm of my left hand, not really expecting it to work I guess.
And it failed. So I was very disapointed. From there my dream also ends.

    8. My first lucid.. and possibly shared dream?

      by , 05-29-2011 at 11:17 AM (fOrceez's Quirky Subconscious!)
      MY FIRST LUCID!
6am WBTB and then felt myself go 'into' the dream from waking state. I don't think i'd class it as WILD as i didn't induce it. When i woke up, I told Alex all about my dream, i believe he will post his dream up soon

I woke into the dream. I don't remember where i was, but i do remember touching something around me to try and ground myself.. the sensation of touching something made me start to lose lucidity as I thought of my waking body still asleep.
As i was losing lucidity, I thought of Alex (Dark_Merlin) and his aura. I could feel a teal/turquoise color far far away and turned to face it. Giving it a shot and trying to prolong my lucid dream, i 'jumped' to him (Like the movie Jumper). The don't remember much about the jump itself except that it went from black nothingness where i couldn't even see my own body to Alex being infront of me, a big LONG wall to my right (Alex's left) and Toby (a friend of ours) standing next to me. Assuming this was a shared dream, I tried to bring Alex into the lucidness. I done the Lady Gaga pose of covering one eye up seeing as his RC check sign is an eye.
Alex just started laughing and Toby walked away.
Giving up on trying to lucid Alex, I picture a door on the wall tried to 'will' books and my.. DG inside. When i 'felt' that there was someone inside, i felt someone 'probe' my consciousness, like they were trying to link their mind with mine. I remembered a friend of mine telling me to Kamehameha if i had a lucid, so I walked in front of the door.. and Kamehameha waved the door down. I walked inside to see a (lady?) there. She was short and not the most attractive of women. This lady had a very amused look on her face. I felt insulted and walked out of the room. She laughed and walked over to me, in front of the door and asked me if i knew where Toby was.
"I don't know, probably talking to girls" (or something along those lines).

      Alex's Dream: http://www.dreamviews.com/blogs/dark...ng-yard-18284/
I believe the wall would be abouts the end of the bridge. If anyone can work out what the wall may represent in his dream, please comment on this dream entry or his. Another friend of his went lucid about two nights ago and when she went to find Alex in his dreams, there was also an endless wall.

      Thanks for reading!

    9. I knew I was close ;) First Lucid

      by , 05-19-2011 at 08:43 PM
      Before Dream Notes
      Bed Time: 3AM
Induction Technique: Believe it or not, a nose pinch RC AND WBTB at 11AM Did a RC with my eyes closed and apparently I was dreaming because I felt the cool air go straight to my nostrils, the best breathe of air I have taken in a long time (Allergies ;p)
      Trigger: Seeing through my eyelids

The dream starts off by me waking up in my Grandma's house, it was early in the morning and the only people who were up were my Grandma and my parents. I noticed the difference between a lucid dream and a normal dream at this point, I could actually focus on something and see the details, colors, and vividness. I didn't do anything major in this LD I just walked around the house observing what I could actually see and how long I could make it last. I went to the front door and tried to leave the house but the moment I did my Grandma's crabby old boy friend pulled up in a red mustang. I decided I didn't want to go that way.... I went down the hall and then directly left into the first bedroom. I rubbed my hands together and began, the first thing I wanted to do was to summon someone. I remember reading threads about summoning techniques, and I thought putting a blanket over something and then imagining something under it then pulling it away would work. I summoned at least three different people, the first was my friend Nicole second was my friend Nate. Nicole didn't talk when I summoned her she was a failed summon (Sorry Nicole) but when I threw the blanket off the bed and onto the ground and tried to imagine Nate being there it worked! I pulled the blanket off and Nate was under it, he actually talked to me. He was like what the hell put that back on me I'm trying to sleep here. He wasn't very exciting so I erased him with a dream spin, I felt like I had to clean up the room before I left it so that's why I did it, didn't wanna leave a buncha Dream characters sitting around ;p The first time I DS it didn't work except for moving some blankets around, but the second time I did it, it completely cleaned every part of the room (But didn't change the dream scene). I walked out of the room and noticed all of the vivid reds, golds, and green colors all around me.
I finally did one more Dream Spin and ended up on Division street in Spokane. I rubbed my hands together to make sure the dream wouldn't dissipate and did one more RC, I then got into a dark Gray Jeep that was on the side of the road (There were no other cars on or off the road) started it and went, I already had seen the park I'm talking about in a second but anyway I went towards there. There was a curb to go over so I decided if I sped up I could fly over it, I imagined myself flying 2 feet above it and over it but it was a failed attempt, I just barely got over the curb and then parked on a trail to the park. It was just getting dark out, I traveled along the path until I saw a park then I walked over some red colored bark on a trail to get there. All of the sudden I hear people screaming, two little kids run by me because someone was chasing them. It doesn't phase me I keep walking into the park when one of the 'chasers' runs past me to catch up to the other two. I finally walk up to the park (It's like a park in Renton, near where I used to live huge field with very green grass. The playground has a whole jungle gym on it, slides, swings, and everything. There is also reddish bark filling the playground area not rocks like in most places), there is a skinny depressed looking girl standing under a huge oak tree. She has jet-black hair and green eyes, I ask her ,"What's the matter why did you scare those kids like that?" She said ,"I don't know I hate doing it *She begins to cry*, I just hate making people feel that way I destroyed all of those kids belongings and then had my brother chase them off." I gave advice ,"Maybe you should go to a store each day and buy one thing for a random person instead of hurting people by ruining their stuff." Then she got all happy and thanked me, she also said she is definitely going to do this.

That was the end of my first lucid dream, I think it was a very good start. I got an idea on how they work now, and what I need to improve on. This was not expected to happen in the morning, it was supposed to happen at night so I didn't really have a plan on what to do in a lucid.

    10. First Lucid (7 Years Old, Dream Chain)

by , 04-30-2011 at 02:20 AM (Chronicles of Ethos)
      General text non-lucid awake lucid

I decided to go ahead and put my first lucid dream into my dream journal. I also added the dreams that led up to this lucid. These dreams happened over 3 days when I was 7 years old.

In the first dream I had, I was standing out on my school's playground. The sky started to turn red. Everyone stopped what they were doing and looked up at the sky. I remember there being a large cloud over us, and I think it was skull shaped. There was a sense dread and impending doom. Everyone was looking up at the sky horrified. (They looked kind of funny staring at the sky with their jaws dropped actually. ) I went back inside the school and I walked up to the library on the 3rd floor. There was another kid there staring out the window with a book. I asked, "Why is the sky red?" He responded dramatically, "The world coming to an end!"

I woke up shortly after that. I thought this dream was kind of weird and creepy, but I didn't pay much attention to it until the next day.

In the second dream, it was a continuation from the last dream, but it took place on the day after the sky turned red. The sky was still red this day with the large cloud in the sky. I started my dream in front of my school. I didn't see anyone around the school or on the playground, so I went inside thinking that I was late. I entered a hallway, but it was dark, empty, and a mess inside. There was still no one in sight, no noise, and no sign of life. Desks and chairs were knocked over in the hallway, there was rubble on the floor, the wall was half destroyed, and the floor was cracked. At this point I was really starting to feal fear because I felt like the last guy in the world, I was scared of whatever destroyed everything, and I remembered the kid from the last dream saying that the world was coming to an end. Despite my fear, I continued down the hallway to find my classroom.

My dream ended and I woke up right before I would have entered my classroom. This dream felt more realistic than the last one and it was scarier for me. I even watched the sky half of the day wondering if it would turn red.

The third and final dream continued right about where the last one left off. It started with me sitting in the dark room at my desk. There was still no living thing in sight. I again started to wonder where everyone was for a few seconds. As I was thinking about this, the lights flashed on and all my classmates and my teacher seemed to flash into view with the light. They just walked around the room and worked on a project as if they had been there the whole time. I got up from my desk and asked my teacher, "Where did everyone go?" Everyone just turned and glared at me with angry expressions on there face. As they focused on me, their eyes started to glow red. In my mind all I could think was they wanted to chase me and kill me. And of course, they started to chase me out the door.

I ran back out into the hallway and then out to the playground. As I ran up the hill on the playground, I stared up at the sky and noticed it was still red and had the large cloud. I remembered this from the past 2 dreams and said to myself, "Wait! I'm dreaming!" I stopped at the top of the hill and turned to face the mob. I wanted to wake myself up before the mob could get to the top of the hill. Without giving it much thought, I started screaming, "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!" As I said this, pictured my real body hidden behind the red sky until I could feel it. I then tried to kick my legs and lift my arms. This required a lot of effort though. As I tried to lift my arms and legs, it felt like someone was pulling them back down. When the mob was about half way up the hill, the dream faded away.

My eyes opened and I was punching and kicking the air with ease. I was sweating and my heart was racing, but I knew I was now sitting safely in bed. I soon got really excited after that because I never had a dream where I knew I was dreaming before. As I started to get more dreams like this, I called them "super dreams" because it felt like a different side of me took over and played as a super hero. They were mostly triggered by nightmares, and this new part of me was like a self defense mechanism against nightmares. It wasn't until I was 13 that I learned there was a name for these dreams and they didn't have to be related to nightmares.

      My Thoughts on these Dreams

Aside from the apocalypse aspect of it, that was awesome! A couple "super dreams" later, and I learned that I didn't have to run from nightmares. I could fight them! Always felt awesome. This is one of my favorite dream chains even though it was a continuous nightmare.

I think the reason why whenever I try to wake myself up and something pulls me down is because of sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis isn't my best friend when trying to get away from a mob.

Induction Type: DILD/NILD (Nightmare Induced Lucid Dream)
    11. Feb 26, 2011 - First Lucid

      by , 02-26-2011 at 09:20 PM
I am pushing my friend David against a big grey pick-up truck over and over again. Once I stop we walk away from the truck into what looks like a school yard.

      I get lucid

I know that I am dreaming and I realize that this is an opportunity for me to say something difficult to David, almost like a practice run. I say “first of all we should practice that scene again” (referring to when I was pushing him against the truck. He agrees. I guess I felt like we were rehearsing for a play in the dream).

Now Trevor (a guy we went to school with) is standing beside us. I mention that I’d like to speak to David privately. I am very nervous even though it is a dream. I find it very difficult but I say it anyways because I know it is a dream, “Also it makes me sad to think that I might lose you sooner than I’d like”. As I say this I begin to cry. The dream starts to get very fuzzy. I think we hugged.

      The end.

I should explain why I chose to say this in my dream. I found out that my friend David was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia while I was away at rehab. Since I’ve come home I haven’t been able to talk about it with him in person, only over the phone. I was afraid to cry in front of him because I worried that it would make him uncomfortable. I talked to one of my counselors about it and I realized that by talking to him about it and by crying I would simply be showing him that I care. She instructed me to tell him that it makes me sad to think that I might lose him sooner than I’d like. I saw this dream as an opportunity to try it.

    12. first fully fleged lucid dream, and hosting a party with a guy who hates me.

by , 02-17-2011 at 01:34 PM ("see you in the next dream, brotha.")
best night ever. my first dream was i was at school, and for some reason i was preparing a party with this guy i know charlie. it was going well, and somehow the school ws connected to my house. we put on music, nd i suggested getting some more, he agreed, then rememered my taste in music, so ran of to get his own, while i tried to get mine. i was running at full bast when suddenly the alarm went of waking me, so i got up and turned it off. i then went back to bed, really wanting to re enter that dream, so i kept repeating to my self, "i will have a lucid dream, i will remember my dream" and then i found myself in my house. exept, on further observasion, it wasnt my house. i turned around. "im dreaming arnt i?"
"yes" a toad in a fez told me. i was amazed how clear and realistic the dream was, only to have it start to fade. i quickly put my hands infront of me and said out lout "increase lucidity" and the drem world became clear again. "congradulations on your first lucit the fez wearing toad told me. "now to help you with glasses. he told me that because i was acustomed to wearing glasses to help me in the real world, if i lost them in the dream relm the world would become un clear. to test, i took them off, and the world became not as clear again, and started to fade, i kept trying to clear the world, but it didnt work. the last thing the toad shouted was "picture yourself without glasses in your dreams!" and
i woke up. i now no what all the fuss is about.

any ideas on who the fez wearing toad was would be nice.

Welcome to my world. Here you will read things that will make you smile, laugh, cringe, fist pump the air, ask yourself what the fuck you just read, and generally leave you wondering how this could come out of a sane person's mind , lol. I have had a lot of experience with lucid dreaming and have made my way back to the site after a 8 month hiatus. Check out my signature for all my old journal entries. I will start out by transporting many of them here (the significant ones & my favorites). Hope I can entertain you all as you take a trip into my mind. Peace! Stay High!

For some reason I was having false awakenings all night. With each false awakening I forgot the previous dream, but then it finally happened. The first part of the dream I remember is that I was a video game designer and I was creating a role playing game (RPG). After a few short moments the scene changed and I was in a Hotel at the beach with a couple of friends.

I noticed the hotel was the one from my game and I knew I could alter the elements around me (I'm not Lucid yet, but close) I pulled out a palm pilot and began placing monster in the hotel. I set up 2 poisonous plants in the lobby, but I didn't tell my friends what I was doing I just told them to run as the plants grew out of the floor. As we were running I used a palm pilot to create Skeletons with pirate swords chasing after us. We ran outside and down to the beach, where I stopped and said to myself, "I wonder if I can control them and make them play a game of touch football with us." (I'm still not Lucid. I didn't think I was dreaming I just thought the palm pilot controlled the skeletons). So we began all playing touch football.

I can't remember many details of the game, but I know my team won and we were celebrating, when it happened! I jumped in the air to celebrate and performed a back flip. After landing I thought, "Wait a minute. I can't do a backflip!" So I tried it again, but with no success. I then attempted to fly. I tried to hover but it didn't work. I even tried the invisible ladder technique, but it didn't work either. I was about to lose hope when I remembered I had just played a game of football with skeletons.

I was Lucid. I wasn't sure what to do so I ran at superhuman speed up the road. I badly wanted to run up a mountain and jump off like I had read about on this site, but for some reason I couldn't get enough speed to do it. Instead I decided to run into a nearby house. It was like 4:00am dreamtime and everyone in the house was asleep. I thought about waking them up and scaring them, but I decided not to. I paused and tried to think of what to do when I came up with an awsome idea. I wanted to fly to Japan and compete in ninja warrior. I had to get out of that house first though. I was looking for a way out when I started to feel like I was about to wake up, so I started spinning in circles and to my astonishment IT WORKED!!! I just sat there for a while in amazement that I could remember things from the real world here in the dream world. After running through the house for a bit, I saw that every window was a stained glass with paintings of angels on them. I must have lost some Lucidty as I started to worry if I could even get out of the house, then I remembered I was dreaming so I just jumped into them and they popped out completely intact. It made a loud noise and it woke up the residents. I hid on the roof and watched as they walked outside. I saw a large shadow come up behind them and then out of the shadow came a large three headed dog and a man who resembled Merlin. The great beast walked toward the three people. Each head devoured a person and Merlin raised his staff and summoned me towards him. I couldn't control my body it just floated toward him. After landing I attempted to fight him, but as i swung my fist, he punched my fist with his fist and caused me to collapse. I thought he was gonna kill me but instead he told me to follow him. While following him, he explained the world of Lucid dreams and told me I would soon use dreams as my playground. I came to the realization that this guy is the most powerful Lucid Dreamer alive, He was the master of dreams. (Anyone else have a character in their dreams who is all powerful? I found this to be weird in my dream. I suppose I just lost some Lucidity)

He took me to a cook-out of all places. It was a cookout for Lucid Dreamers in a clearing, with a pond, surrounded by woods. I saw a guy hovering around and I asked him why I couldn't fly. He said "You can't fly yet? You must be new." We talked for a while, but I can't remember what we said. He then told me to focus on a branch that was hanging over the water and pull myself to it with my mind. It worked the first time. So I kept doing it. My accuracy wasn't very good though I kept missing the branches and falling into the pond lol. I had trouble with long distances as well. I came to the conclusion that flying is hard, so I decided to ask Merlin to teach me. When I began to wake up. I tried to hold on, but I was so excited to write this in a journal that I kind of just let myself wake up.
I'm so excited this worked and even though I couldn't fly yet I plan on mastering that tonight or whenever I have my next Lucid dream.

    14. My first lucid dream

by , 12-27-2010 at 05:05 PM (Struggle for Lucidity)
The 27th of December is going to be my lucid anniversary, from now on. This is because, from 6:30 to 6:50, I had my first lucid dream. I sacrificed a fresh full english breakfast (heated it up instead, tasted mediocre) for this dream.

      Key:
      Dream Lucid Semi Lucid Non-Dream

I woke up at about 4:02-4:22am, and sat around on my iPod until about 6:10. Then, I have no idea what happened between then and the dream, wether or not I fell asleep or tried WILD, but I went in to the dream. I had several dream fragments.

      Fragment 1: Non Lucid
I was in a fancy looking restaurant, reminiscent of the local steak house. The walls were cream colored stone, with fancy red decor everywhere. Wooden chairs and columns were there too. Windows showed a road with some grass, outside. I was sat on the edge of a table with the kid from outnumbered and some other famous people (I don't remember who, exactly). I had the feeling that we were hiding from someone (unsure why), so I got down and went prone. After crawling along the floor for a bit the dream faded.

      Fragment 2: Bipods with iPods
I was walking in what I think was the car park of my school, with my iPod in hand. I saw two extremely tall people swinging their own iPods around like clubs, and I decided to put my iPod away and walk off just in case the worst happened. In the middle of putting my iPod away, my hands went right through each other, and I realized I was lucid. I was kind of aware before, but I thought I was just tripping out. I looked at my hands go through each other and then the dream faded out.

      Dream: Beginning of an era
I got out of bed. My hands accidentally went through each other again. I was lucid. I wasn't as shocked or excited as I thought I would be, but I felt both of those feelings anyway. I got up. My house was dark, but my room was exactly the same as normal. I think there was a purple, space-like void outside. I walked downstairs, then back upstairs. I had so many ideas in my head. I settled with the lucid crossroads (http://www.lucidcrossroads.co.uk/), because I figured it would be the easiest way to get to a clear, daytime environment. I reached in my pocket like the website says, but I didn't pull out a badge like I thought I would. I pulled out thin air. Disappointed, I walked to my room, saying to myself "there will be a girl behind the door. There will be a girl behind the door." That didn't work either. I sat back down on my bed trying to think of what to do next, but I woke up out of a variety of emotions.

And that's how my first lucid dream was. As soon as I woke up, I hit my iPod's music button and the credits theme from misfits came on. That coincidence made me feel like I was in a movie. I went back to dicking around with my iPod and then fell asleep until 2:53pm. Yeah, I was catching up on christmas and boxing day. I didn't sleep much on those days.

I hope to have more, vivid lucid dreams. I hope I obtain more power and time, with every dream I have.

      Supplements in the past day:
      1x Hot Chocolate
      1x Glass of apple juice
      1x Chicken curry
      1x Burger + Bun
      0.5x Fishcake (it tasted bad)
    15. First lucid dream! YAY!

Real life Dream Lucid Dream sign
For me to remember, dreams are 067300, lucid dreams are the color below blue, #4169e1, and dream signs are the light purple, which is up one and left one from blue, #483d8b.

I lucid dreamt today! Oh my gosh! This has increased my will to lucid dream ten fold!

      Lucid dream
All I remember was I was in a white room (this dream wasn't very vivid at all) when suddenly I became lucid! I was so excited I started to feel the dream falling apart. It's a strange feeling. I felt like there was an aching heat in me (but it wasn't a bad feeling) and I was slightly disoriented.

Normally when a dream fades from me, it's different. Usually when my dreams lose stability my REM cycle is ending, and I will start to become intensely disoriented, and fall to the ground. Everything in my vision will smear together and fade to white. I guess since my dream lost stability for a different reason, it felt different.

I thought of what to do from my experience on the forums and the only thing I could think to do was rub my hands together. I don't even remember seeing my hands, (maybe it was because my dream was so unstable) but I did so and things improved a little. It might have lasted ten more seconds because of that. I was so happy and thought to myself 'I'm aware that I'm dreaming!' until I woke up at 3 something AM.

I thought in my head "I WILL remember this dream!" over and over, and went back to sleep.

      Sci-fi dream
I remember none of this dream but it was sci-fi in theme.

When I woke up at 8 AM, I did remember this dream, but not the lucid dream. I started thinking all about it in my head. Then I thought, 'Wait a second...' and then remembered my lucid dream earlier that night and got really excited. In my excitement I completely forgot the sci-fi dream, but who cares? I remembered my lucid dream!

Last night changed my general beliefs of dreaming in these ways:
      • Lucid dreaming isn't impossible for me!
      • People lucid dream many times before they finally remember one- as you can see here I almost forgot my "first" lucid dream.
      • The above means that dream recall might not improve your lucid dream count because of recognizing dream signs more, but simply because you remember more of your lucid dreams! (This is just an idea, and might not be true)
      • I had an idea a while ago that remembering dreams is like following a train of thought. It seems to me that recollection of dreams seems to never be put in short term memory. When I began to think about something else, I completely forgot my dream, and that might be because the dream was just something I was thinking about, not something in my memory. This could be why most people remember their dreams in the morning, but as five minutes pass you forget it. (This is just an idea, and might not be true)
