Woke up at 4AM to WBTB Moved to recliner SSILD - No Aids #131 - The Neighbor's House -DEILD 5:01AM I wake up from a NLD. Have a really hard remembering the dream. A part of me thinks that I woke up here in a lucid FA. I am not sure. I move a little and get comfortable. The I decide to just forget the dream and DEILD. I get the vibrations almost immediately. It comes slow at first and then gains intensity. I have to admit and I am really excited at this point and I know this stage can make or break the LD. Instead of trying to visualize a place or scene, I go for a OBE style LD and hurriedly get out of the recliner and rush outside. I felt a little sluggish at first but the transition was pretty smooth. I go into the yard and for some reason look in the sky. I think its real life habit coming out. The sky is dimly lit and cloudy. The clouds look like gray and black marble. I find it really pretty and admire it for a while. The only problem is that I seem to look moving my head wildly back and forth and not able to hold still. I look at the ground to stabilize. I realize I didn't think of a goal before hand. (I was so unprepared for this LD) I had to really rack my brain to think of a TOTM. I remember flower and start searching the grass. I pluck a piece of grass and start to will it to be a flower. Then I remember that one is already done. I think really hard. I remember the clock but I am outside and don't feel like looking for a clock. Erase major element! I realize that I had wondered over towards the neighbor's yard so I started looking around for something to erase. I wasn't about to mess with my own stuff! I see his red car. Not enough. I see the houses across the street. Too much. I look back at the neighbors house. Ha! Ill erase his house! Then, I notice the dream world getting darker except for the house. The color seems way to bright and vivid like bad Technicolor. A car passes behind me and for a brief moment everything is lit up and normal. I don't want to fall to darkness so I ask the dream for light. I look and and yell "Lights! I need lights here please." I notice how strange my voice sounds hollow and echoes. Nothing happens so I try again. I clap at the sky and yell "LIGHTS!" The sensation on my hand is strange. Still nothing so I give up.I focus on my neighbors house once again. I put a hand up over my line of sight so that it looks like I have my hand above it. The idea was to just wipe the house away like and eraser on a chalkboard. At that moment the world goes completely dark. I think I am waking up. I forget all of my void/DEILD tricks and give up on the dream. After a few seconds I am fooled by a FA I wake up and notice thats its late morning and the light from the windows is bright. I notice how my dream clock is usually close to waking time. I guess I was off this time. (Doh! I missed that one!) I see a pile of cat vomit on the floor and it looks like cornbread stuffing. I see Stella, my cat, is next to it. I am so pissed that I slap her head. She is not phased by it. I backhand her in the head really hard but she just looks at me. I find this really odd but don't think it through (missed another one ) I see some familiar DC in the kitchen cleaning. I start bitching about the cats and go help clean. I wake up.

I completed a few milestones today, as well as having some vivid dreams. I was kind of dissapointed at first but I just kept going back to sleep. I've realized after tonight the less tired you are when you go to sleep the better chance you have of having a lucid dream. Awake Dream lucid I went to sleep around 2 AM, I had a horrible dinner which might have had something to do with it. I didn't even really have a dinner except eat a bunch of seven-layer-dip and a chicken wing right before bed. Sleep: 2:30 Wake: 6:30 Sleep: 6:40 1. I was in some sort of gymnasium where Obama was giving a speech. It was like a basketball court and then there was a smaller court right next to it so from a birds eye view it looked like a square next to a rectangle. On all sides of the room there were bleachers and they were all full and Obama was on the far end of the square in the room giving a speech. I was next to my cousin Russell and some lady with a baby next to him. After Obama stopped speaking they put on a movie for everyone to watch. Inbetween the speech and the movie the woman with the baby started walking on top of this tall row with her baby and there was like at least an 8 foot drop. The movie we were watching had someone's kid being taken away by child services and I started yelling yea we got someone with the same baby problems over here and I pointed to the woman walking with her baby on the high beam thing. I kept yelling jokes about it and she kept trying to hide her baby, but still kept walking on the beam. Pretty soon her baby was taken away and I was the only one who was clapping as it was happening. Sounds cruel but would you rather have a dead baby? Sometimes I feel like the only person in the room who knows the true consequences of things. After that the movie kept playing and the next thing I know is somehow I met a guy and a girl on the way back to the cars and my dad was about to leave but he wanted to get "that movie with the rock in it" lol. So for some reason I remember all this is happening at our River house for some reason (my dad owns a river house we have 3 hours away from our normal house) Except in the "dream river house" it's a lot sunnier and theres a lot more bushes and trees and such. And I try to go in the house through this futuristic white truck thats owned by the guards, no real trouble for going in it but it looks suspicious. I realize I can't get through the truck so I go around to the place where the speech was taking place. Two of the guards pass by me (they are soldiers from some african country) and start talking about checking up on the display case, which apparently was in the back of the truck. I walk back to the auditorium building and in the dream it was blank but somehow I'm supposed to know it was a beach on that side, but now that I look back it was just white on that side lol. There were bushes and two wooden beams over a gap where it dropped to a beach down below that you had to walk over. Once I got back to the building the entrance room looked like it belonged to a church, and I met the Jogger guy and the girl I had met before. They asked me what I was up to and I guess I didn't remember what I said before because I said I was going to go watch Lord of the Rings. The guy asked me if I was going to where it was filmed or either asked me where it was filmed, dont remember. But I was saying no it's not around here it's all the way in New Zealand. The dream ended a few seconds after I was imagining on a map my location on the earth, and then like on google earth there was a blue line zigzagging and zooming all the way to New Zealand. After this I stayed perfectly still when I woke up, Which is a landmark success lol. However the DEILD did not work as intended. This was around the time I woke up at 6:30, and I was feeling like SH*T. Because if you read at the beginning what I had for dinner. I had a bit of a stomach ache, drank some water which only made me feel worse. I went outside my room and did some general cleaning for 10 minutes then went back to sleep. woke up at around 9:30 and nothing happened.. decided I had nothing better to do, even though I was fully awake I concentrated on going back to sleep. 2. In this dream something happened that made me go on a road trip, can not remember no matter how hard I try. I was driving in my car on the road and the GPS turned onto some back country road, I had to slow down a lot to drive around all the giant rocks on the road, and I realized I didn't have the lights on so I turned on the lights, the lights inside the car worked but the headlights weren't working. Either way I saw the rocks in the moonlight/starlight anyways and at one point it felt like a childs toy car and I just grabbed the sides and picked it up over the rock. Then I thought about how crazy this was and I was like "wait a minute" I performed my first ever RC (:banana:yay!!) and my hands went through each other and I realized I was dreaming. I looked around and everything, even though it wasn't daytime, was still in vivid detail and it felt so real. It felt so much like real life it was that hard to tell the difference. I looked to the side and there was a bigger street and a jeep wrangler drove by and its headlights were shining through the snow into a thick forest/jungle straight ahead of me. I tried to fly but I couldn't get off the ground. Then I realized my dream was fading and I tried to stabilize by rubbing my hands together but it was too late and I woke up.
This was a short but pleasant lucid after drinking a 3-bag brew of peppermint tea during my WBTB. I woke up for the WBTB on the late side (4:45 or so), so I didn't stay awake for very long. Probably because of this, my waking life memories were a little tough to access. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #64: The Menthol Arcade I'm in a dark arcade playing Street Fighter II with my friend SC. We're talking smack and he says, "I bet you can't win a sumo wrestling match." I say something really brilliant like, "Bring it!" and the game starts. I'm on the righthand side and both of us are playing as E. Honda. I look down at the game's controls and I'm disappointed to see that it has no joystick and each side has only 3 buttons instead of the usual 6. The weirdness of this sticks in my mind and after thinking it over, I realize that I'm dreaming. The game starts and neither of us moves at first. I jam on the buttons a bit and my player starts E. Honda's signature "Hundred Hand Slap". I will him to start drifting to the left and he slides along for a few seconds. Before I can land a shot, the screen goes black. I look over to my left and SC has vanished. I'm completely alone and all of the machines are off now. I turn away and start to explore the rest of the arcade. The arcade's divided into two sides, and the side that I'm on is arranged around an enormous air hockey table that's at least 4-5 times larger than a normal one. I wonder what someone would do if the puck got stuck in the middle of that huge thing. On the opposite side of the room I see an emergency exit. I think about exploring the other side of the arcade but it occurs to me that I probably have goals I want to work on, and outside seems like a better bet. I keep verbally reminding myself that this is a dream until I reach the exit. I push on the crash bar, the door swings open, and I'm staring out into a milky gray void. I'm nervous about walking out there but I feel like there's no going back now. There's a bit of a drop as I step into the void, but my feet land on something solid a couple of feet down. I feel like I'm wearing my work shoes. The scene goes totally dark, but I'm ready to DEILD. I start swinging my arm around, imagining that I have a gladius. Nothing happens for a few seconds, but I still feel relaxed. I start swinging harder, throwing in a few man-grunts for emphasis. Some sort of wind sweeps up from below and picks me up off of my feet. The wind starts to swirl and soon turns into a cyclone. I can feel myself spinning and spinning, and I think that this is great -- LaBerge suggests spinning as a way to change scenes. I'm confident it will work, and sure enough I see a colorful, spinning scene start to emerge. The wind dies down, the spinning slows, and I'm gently set down on a vast, jeweled mosaic that stretches in every direction as far as I can see. There's a slightly reddish glow on the horizon and what looks like a set of distant mountains. I'm awestruck by what I see, but it's just a few seconds before the dream ends.
Dream - Lucid I was at work, standing behind my register, though it looked more like a grocery store mixed with the department store I work at. We were ungodly slow. My manager came up because I guess I had a problem with something, and I asked her how she was doing as she helped me ring up someone's stuff. She said "Good, you?" I responded with the same, saying I was good. We then worked in silence, and she came across some sweatpants with more than one security tag on them..3 to be exact. She didn't seem to notice them, so I pointed them out to her. We traded places and I got the tags off. She told me I was doing a good job at some point in all this, and I said thank you. I also remember looking at my computer screen and seeing that I hadn't gotten any credits, but I had gotten 7.7 emails. I thought that the 7.7 was kind of weird. I couldn't think of how that could happen... Then, back to the slowness. I kept falling asleep behind my register it was so bad. Something then happened with my computer, and it was acting funny. I kept typing things in, and I'd see logos from other stores, like Toys R Us, advertising sales and such. I then realized I was dreaming. I typed in a whole bunch of things in the computer to see what would come up. No matter what I typed, I'd get some sort of logo. I remember typing some inappropriate things, though I can't remember what. I then went to go look around. There were other people in the store as well. I saw some hand soaps on display, so I decided to pick some out. I picked out a pink one with a butterfly on the label, and some others. I read the labels, but I can't remember what they said. I had my arms full with all the soaps I picked out; I needed a basket. I tried to pick up this teal basket that was for sale, but my arms were too full to get it. So I thought to myself "When I turn this corner, there will be a basket". I concentrated on this thought, and then, I started to notice buggies that were empty and laying around. I noticed a smaller black one that resembled the ones we have in the store IWL. It was by a frozen goods section of the store. It was made for a child to sit in it as well. I thought that one was perfect. I put the soaps down into the child's seat and started to roll the buggy through the aisles. I then saw the back of what looked like my friend Caitlin's head. She was also rolling a buggy around and shopping. I passed her, then turned around and saw that it was, in fact, Caitlin. I said "Hey, girl!" She replied "Hey!" And I started to walk next to her. I then said to her "You know this is a dream, right?" and she replied, "Yes." I then said "You know you are in my dream, right? Our minds are touching." She replied with "Yes. I have my theory on that. Minds can only touch for 2-3 minutes." I liked that answer. This rarely happens with DCs for me; usually they stare blankly at me when I mention the fact that we're dreaming. I guess we decided to take advantage of the 2-3 minutes, because Caitlin then said "Follow me!", and she started to run. I ran after her. We were in the back of the store by the beer. In that section, the floor was made entirely of beer can boxes. I had a good speed until I hit the boxes, and then I could barely run. She seemed to be having no trouble, however. She turned a corner into an area that returned to the normal, tiled floor. She was laughing, so I guess she was having fun. Then, we approached a wall. I wanted to go through the wall with her, though I knew our time together was running short. I rolled my buggy to the wall, and pushed it. It went straight through with no problem. I asked Caitlin to go with me, but she seemed reluctant because the time limit was running short. I convinced her to follow, however, and I went through the wall first, with her behind me. We were then in a dim, alley-like hallway. I walked ahead and turned a corner. I looked behind me, and she was no longer with me. Oh well. I walked ahead, and approached a pitch-black area. I felt very unnerved; there was something there... I then woke up briefly, and did not move or open my eyes, and ended up in another dream. I knew I was dreaming upon entering it, seeing as I had DEILDed. I was now in a dim-dark area, staring at my reflection in some glass double doors. My expression in the reflection was very frightened. I was also wearing an off-white, knitted winter hat resembling one I own IWL. Hmm...the expression did not change. I examined my surroundings, and I was standing in front of some store. There was a whole row of glass double doors in front of me. Behind the doors, I could see nothing but black. Below me, on the ground, was a tiled surface. I then heard footsteps on the tile, and a male voice from behind the door. "Could someone please let me out?" it said. I opened the door, and stared into the blackness. I heard the steps coming closer, and I briefly panicked, and backed away from the door. I then thought to myself "This is a dream. Whatever is there can't hurt me." I approached the door again, so I was standing right in front of the abyss. A tall shadow in the shape of a man approached me. He then lunged at me, knocking me back. He was on top of me, almost "one" with me; he was a shadow after all, and had no mass. I felt this intense blow of panic and fear as I was knocked back and he was on top of me/with me/trying to merge with me. I then woke up. Epic dream was epic. I have had quite a few epic dreams lately, actually. However, I am very busy at school and literally have no time to write anything down. I will keep up with this the best I possibly can, but the updates will probably be few and far between. I will tell you that I have been having a surprising number of lucid dreams lately. I think it is the new meds I am on that are causing this epicness, or at least they are aiding with it. You don't see me complaining!
Another fun effort at Task of the Year. I just need to wind up in the right stadium next time. Again, with the gladius-waving DEILD tech that Xanous and I worked out. What a breakthrough that's been! Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #61: It Has to Be the Colosseum! I'm standing in front of a hotel, holding my 3-year-old son E. A van pulls up nearby and a gang of suspicious-looking men pours out. It looks to me like they're planning a robbery and I wonder what to do. E points at the men and bleats, "Want to know what they are doing!" The men turn toward us, eyes narrowed. I feel like they're thinking, "Witnesses." I'm scared. I feel like they'll see us as loose ends to tie off, and I hustle back into the hotel lobby with E in my arms. As I'm casting about for some place to hide, I realize that it's all a dream. I head toward a huge window at the back of the lobby, planning to phase out of the lobby and get into the air for a task. Everything has started to feel unstable and low-fidelity. The sunlight pouring in through the lobby window has started to look like one big blur. E no longer feels heavy and squirmy like a toddler. It feels more like I'm holding a backpack. I relax and prepare myself for DEILD, and the dream soon goes black. Like I've done so often recently, I imagine that I'm holding a gladius in my right hand and start madly swinging it around. It takes a few tries to convince myself, but the feeling soon takes hold. In a few more seconds, I hear a roaring crowd of spectators all around me. I know that I'm already out in the middle of the arena. Some people in the crowd seem to be counting -- don't know what to make of that. All at once, the whole scene falls into place visually. I'm in a completely cel-shaded, cartoony world, and standing in the middle of an enormous football stadium, right on the 50-yard line. An Asian lady in a business suit walks hurriedly toward me saying, "Great, you're here. Let's get going." My new handler looks in every way like a cartoon character, as does the crowd, the field, the stadium, and everyone in it. Some sort of production crew is wandering around on the field setting up camera and lighting equipment. This is so close to being what I need, but for Task of the Year, I need to be in the Colosseum. I plead with her that, "It has to be the Colosseum!" but she doesn't seem to hear me. I repeat myself, "I know you're trying, but this isn't quite right. It has to be the Colosseum! Nothing else will work!" Nobody hears me, though. Everyone seems to be too busy getting this cel-shaded sporting event ready and can't pay me any mind. I'm thinking about how I can change things in my favor, but I'm not far into this when I wake up.
This lucid was fueled by pure desperation. I've never fought this hard to save an LD that was going bad, but it paid off. I'm getting a lot of mileage out of this gladius thing. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #58: Generosity and Giants A young woman named "Crystal Fleming" is collecting money for a charity, and I've pledged $33.13. I'm proud of my "generosity" and totally thrilled that I've found exact change down to the penny. But now I can't find Crystal. It's night, and I trudge across a snowy field to a picnic table where I think she might be waiting. But rather than Crystal, seated at the table is my friend W. This is unexpected, and as soon as I question whether I'm dreaming, I know that I am. I tell W, "Gotta go, this is a lucid dream." His face is harshly lit, stony, and expressionless. I realize we're in a small, dark room now, getting darker by the moment. I head for the exit, but the scene fades... Now I'm in the dark. I'm desperate for a lucid dream, though, so there's no way I'm letting this one go. I start swinging a gladius (ancient Roman sword) and willing myself to be in the Colosseum for Task of the Year. On top of this I shout, "This is still a lucid dream!" I hear Wife muttering and rolling over nearby, and now I'm scared that I'm really yelling and waving my arms around in the bedroom. I want a lucid too badly to stop trying, though, so I jam the index and middle finger of my left hand into my mouth and start chewing on them. This all feels totally real, but I decide to ride it out to the end. If I look like a psycho, I look like a psycho. I'm not dropping this LD. Suddenly, a sharp new dream scene forms: I'm standing on our bed, fingers in my mouth, swordless right hand swinging madly. The scene's extremely vivid, but there's a slight motion to everything that I see, like I'm slightly drunk. I hop down from the bed and run out into the hall. The hallway outside of our bedroom is totally transformed. The carpeting is bright pink and the room is decorated floor to ceiling with stuffed animals. There's an exit to the right that doesn't exist IWL, so I explore it, curious where it leads. I find myself in a new hallway with a tall picture window overlooking an early morning street scene. I phase through the glass out onto the street. The street is wet as if it rained overnight. A few cars pass by, headlights on. It looks like a work day that's just beginning. I fly up into the air, but my confidence isn't what it should be. My altitude is low and my speed's really pitiful. There's an entrance to a mall food court nearby, and the dream seems to be ushering me toward it. I don't resist. In spite of the early hours, this food court is packed. It's a two story mall, so I try flying again, getting about 6 feet off of the ground and doing that slow drift again. I spot my reflection in the exit door on the opposite side of the food court. Except the reflection isn't me flying -- it's my 6'8" Uncle J walking toward the door with me flying over his shoulder. He looks solid, substantial, and real, while I look like some kind of phantasm. I look down, and he's not there. But in the glass's reflection, he's solid-looking and completely realistic. Now I can't decide whether I'm me flying toward the door or if I'm my gigantic uncle, lumbering toward the exit on foot. I switch between feeling like I'm the one flying... then the one on foot... then both... I raise my hand to phase through the door. Uncle J's reflection does the same. The phase fails. From below, an attractive DC calls to me, saying, "Hi! Come down here." The LD's starting to feel thin and I float down. The DC is about 30 with long, dark hair, and attractive almost to the point of absurdity. I remember reading Waggoner during my WBTB and want to ask her what she represents. I feel weak and insubstantial, though, and my voice is just a hoarse whisper. She looks at me, arms crossed, a wry smile on her face and the scene fades to black.
1/13/13 WILD into DEILD chain (6-8) ***note to self: work more on tactile sensations when developing scene from WILD. This is the 3rd night in a row of a WILD. I have not smoked or drank for about a week and a half. Every night I have been getting up around 5 (not intentionally) and been unable to fall back asleep for an hour or so. I can feel a moment of deep focus right before the transition sensations kick in. I have about a 5 to 10 second heads-up to stay aware. I can't describe it but I guess I have done enough WILDs where I can tell my body is about to fall asleep. Also, for the 3rd consecutive night the transition was the new adrenaline-lightness instead of vibrations. This occurred at the embassy suites where I was sleeping IRL. I wasn't able to record this for awhile, also I had a very distracting and emotional morning so my recall is down to about 0. I remember recalling around 8 DEILDs, most of which fell victim to the darkness. I am working on trying to develop scenes once I feel the transition instead of opening my dream eyes and starting in my bed. Here are the 3 snippets I remember. I remember that my previous few DEILDS failed because I started in the dark room. I tried to visualize a scene with a tree. I could start to see the outline in the darkness. I began to hear voices and they are having a conversation with each other. I believe I started to get visuals, but I was never "in" the dream, just observing some interaction. DEILD I am looking to get out of the dark room. I go over to the window and it is daytime outside. I jump down a few floors to the ground. It looks like fall. I walk around and I eventually find 2 guys who look to be early 30's. They are homeless and living out of a box. I cant recall the rest DEILD I go out the front door of the room. There is large arena with some people scattered about. It is indoors. I see a little Iron Giant figurine standing alone on the ground. It is about 3 ft. tall. I want to become it so I put it in front of my face and try to look through its eyes. Eventually I morph through it so I am seeing as it does, but I stay my normal size and physical appearance. I then just pretend to be a robot and pick up and throw some things.
Nowhere near a success, but at least the Task of the Year is on my mind! Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #53: The Cestus I’m in a bathroom, looking for a stall to use. I don't feel desperate, but I'm not being very careful as I swing one open. Inside I find a guy standing there peeing right into the drain on the floor. I bleat, "Sorry! Sorry!" as I try to hurriedly close the door. But unfortunately, the stall door has completely disappeared, leaving me no escape from this excruciating situation. I’m embarrassed for him peeing into the drain like a barbarian and I’m embarrassed for me throwing open the door like an idiot. I stand there marinating in the awkwardness for a moment before it becomes so painful that I have a false awakening into... ...the same bathroom. I don't buy that I woke up in a bathroom, and I become lucid. The bathroom is empty now and I’m standing by a sink looking into a mirror. I note that the stall doors are all closed again and that I badly need a shave. I cannot handle the idea of leaving a bathroom without washing my hands, so I'm glad that the faucet works. I don't see soap anywhere but fortunately I manage to get over this. I head outside into the hall and it looks like the hallway of a dark hotel, deep blue carpeting and flickering fluorescent lights. I can go left or right and I choose left. When I head to the left, though, I see a writhing black cloud of smoke at the end of the hall. It looks like the smoke monster from Lost. I mutter, “I’ll pass...” and head back the other way down the hall. The electric lights flicker for a moment and then the whole scene starts to darken and press down on me. I rub my hands together and the details feel real, down to the deadlift calluses at the pinky, ring, and middle finger joints. When I do this, there’s an electric crackle and the lights come back on. I walk for a long way down the hall but somehow it just seems to get longer and longer. I want to either find a DC for basic Task of the Month or get to Rome for the Colosseum battle Task of the Year. I start to feel fretful that I'm going nowhere and the scene fades to black. I feel it coming, though, and I relax and prep for DEILD. Another scene begins to form. I’m walking through a concrete structure that looks like a parking garage or the innards of a stadium. I’m wearing something like a cestus, a nasty-looking, studded leather wrapping around my hand. This isn’t the Colosseum, but I feel like I can turn this into the “Europe” Task of the Year. I’m armed and the location seems like something I could massage into the Colosseum with a little effort. But I notice that I feel like I’m no longer able to breathe. The breath simply doesn't feel like it's coming anymore. I know it has to be an illusion but the sensation is terrifying. I try to relax and wait for this to play itself out but some part of me panics and I wake up.

I get out of bed....everything is black as night. Okay, maybe it'll get better.....no, I'm back in reality. Lets try this again. I head to the living room, and I think about finding Kaomea, and I see her right at the door step, and the door is open. When I get to the door, she's not there....and I get this weird super creepy feeling...like something just scared the shit out of me. Everything turned to blackness as a soon as I stepped out of my house....wtf Okay, here we go. I'm at some club, the lights are flashing like that last lucid I had where I was looking for Kaomea in the club. I run across a couple of people I know...flirting ensues, and I move on. There this one girl who has her hair stuck in one of the buttons on my shirt. I take it off, and restructure her hair to make it look longer fuller and better. A piece falls out while she was dancing, but oh well. I started looking for HER....I came up to a blonde girl, but she had black bangs, and everything else was blonde. I asked her if she's ever seen me in any other dreams, and she said yes. Someone else tapped me on the shoulder, and I ignored her (probably was the real HER) and then I asked her for her name. She said it was Shyree. Then I woke the fuck up. Had some other dream where I had this carton of eggs that could move like a pull back race car.....WTF.
I've always wanted to become lucid in a dark scene like this. I'm walking on a lonely street on this dark night and see nothing but empty areas. At one point, I felt it to be a dream but I stared at the sidewalk right next to me and continued to look at it until I became fully lucid. When I finally became lucid, I already started to panic. I tried to control myself by telling myself to calm down and walk calmly. The dream began to fade away and before I knew it, I woke up. Something else happened when I woke up. I noticed I had just woken up from the dream and because it was a very short lucid, I wanted to see if I can go back in and try it again. My whole body was numb, and it kind of scared me. I didn't want to go in to a paralyzed state. I still did performed one of the handy techniques I read about on Dream Views though. I didn't even have the confidence being able to go back to sleep after having a lucid. I don't remember hearing anything creepy right now. This next dream I had was, I guess, a way of my lucid dream telling me it's sorry because I woke up quick from it. This dream was a sex dream. You might want to close your eyes if you're too young. It happened at the old house I used to live in. My parents were gone and it was already dark. Me and this other girl first started to make out in the room I currently live in. She didn't even try resisting me and the best thing about it was, her kisses didn't taste bad either. I started to share my tongue with her(it was a dream focused on sex, I don't remember being lucid). Sometimes I would pull her pants down and use my mouth there. She gave me oral too! At first, when she put her mouth around my dude, she only wanted to suck until I finally told her to lick. At one point, when she was sucking too much, I found her mouth stuck to my penis. And the more she sucked it, the tinnier my thing got. When she sucked too much,I pulled her head away and accidently broke part of her mouth off. She told me something like, "I have another one." I heard my parents coming from the front door. I quickly carried this girl to my parents bedroom and locked her in there with me. I tried to do the best I could before I woke up. And before I could do anything really exciting, I woke up. I think you know the next part.
A wild chain of false awakenings and DEILDs finally led me to a most interesting encounter with Wife's DC, who was even more irrepressible than usual. This was the first of two lucid dreams from last night's session with galantamine. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #46: The Blind Man, the Bully, and the Nerd I'm in the kitchen with Wife. I'm talking to her but I'm almost completely blind. I'm embarrassed by my blindness, convinced that it's some side effect of the galantamine that I just took. Rather than seek medical attention, I try to slink up to bed so Wife won't know. Unfortunately, she keeps asking me to hand her things, and I flail around the kitchen knocking things over. "What's wrong with you?" she asks. I have a false awakening into... ...sitting on the floor of our living room as my 1-year-old son "R" runs around me. My vision is dim but I can see better than before. I'm still convinced that I'm suffering from some kind of bizarre galantamine side effect. R is sprinting around the room, pulling objects off of tables, knocking stuff over, and tossing various knickknacks into the recycling bin. I try to stop him, but he just laughs, squirting right through my arms when I try to grab him. He says, "This is so fun, Daddy!" and I briefly become lucid, remembering that he's way too young to speak like that. I quickly wake up but keep my eyes shut and hold still for a DEILD... and I find myself lying in a bed in a room I don't know. I get up, ready to explore. A strange, gnome-like creature with a hooked nose hops off of the floor and gets in my face, waving his arms wildly about. He's about three feet tall, covered with warts, extremely agile, and very annoying. He brags to some unseen listener: "See? I can stop him from doing what he wants in this dream!" I try to leave the room but the little gnome keeps hopping up in my face, cackling and poking at me. He jabs me in the eyeball and I get incredibly angry. I grab the gnome by the throat, push him to the floor and hold him there. He growls and kicks his legs, but he isn't able to move. Even though he's immobilized, I'm so out of control that I still punch him once, hard right under his left eye. I immediately feel terrible about this and release my grip, allowing him to scamper away. I stand there brooding about this for a moment before the gnome walks back in. He no longer looks disgusting and infuriating, but just like a small little man. I tell him, "I'm sorry that I hit you. I didn't need to do that." He walks up to me, points at his blackened left eye and softly says, "Fix." I nod, touching his bruised skin, and the black eye immediately heals. "All right, hug it out," I say and I kneel down to hug the little dude. The dream fades... I buckle down for another DEILD and in a few seconds I'm back in another bed room, although it's different from the last. I'm standing and Wife is here making the bed. "Hey!" I say. "This is a lucid dream. Quit making that bed and let's go play." She keeps making the bed. "You can go do what you like, but this work still needs to get done." I can't believe it. "But it's all a dream. You don't have to worry about whether beds get made. Come on, I've got lucid goals I want to work on." She stops for a second, laughs, and looks at me, wrinkling up her nose a bit. "Lucid goals? What does that even mean? You better not be trying to arrange a threesome on the bed that I just spent all this time making!" "Come on, get serious. You'll like this... I want to visit the Great Pyramid." Then I look at her, hold out my right hand and say, "You will come with me." She laughs. "Oh my God, nerd! I can't believe you just tried to 'command' me. Is that the kind of stuff you do in these dreams of yours?" I smile, amazed at how like herself she is and how much I'm enjoying her company. "I think I can do this, though," I say, and levitate her a few feet off of the ground. She looks amused. I float her over to me and set her on the ground. When I try to kiss her she doesn't resist. I feel her fingers graze my left temple but then she turns to walk away. "I still need to make this bed," she says, as the dream fades.

Finally, a DEILD! It's interesting that I keep generating these "endless maze" type dreams for myself. At least I remembered the Exit signs this time. BTW, the new neighbors in this house have not yet moved in, so it'll be interesting to see whether the dream got anything right about them. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #39: The Endless Farmhouse I'm meeting our new neighbor "Anna", a fair-skinned lady with red hair in her early 40s. JC, A friend of mine from California, rides by on a recumbent bicycle. I tell Anna, "Oh hey, I know him... that's JC." She says, "Sure, I know him too." This strikes me as very unlikely and I become lucid. I'm lucid only for a moment before I wake up. I sit tight for a DEILD, focusing on breathing and mantra until I emerge just inside the front door of Anna's house. She is standing several feet away with a little girl of about seven. The girl says, "What's he doing in here, Mommy?" I feel way out of bounds and tell them, "Sorry, it's a lucid dream. I was just leaving." The front door is wide open behind me and I hurry outside. Outside I'm under a wooden covering that reminds me of an open air stable or farmhouse. A slatted wooden fence hems me in from the sides and I can see sun just outside. I move to the next area, but it looks much the same, only rearranged slightly. I move forward a ways more but it seems that no matter which direction I choose, I'm stuck in the shadows. I jump up and take a swipe at the ceiling to make sure I stay properly bolted into the scene, but I manage to miss. I'm slightly annoyed that I can't do something I do in real life (something I do when nobody's looking, that is!) I slap a nearby candy striped support pillar and it feels satisfyingly realistic. I move up a steep embankment of dirt, but again it's just more fencing and wooden covering. I'm feeling stuck so I imagine an Exit sign that will guide me out. But before I even see it, my vision goes dark. I keep calm, and rub my hands together. Feels okay. I rub my face, lick each arm, grab a handful of shirt... everything is as it should be. My vision doesn't budge, though, so I spend perhaps half a minute just waiting things out in the dark, considering what I ought to do. The idea occurs to me to get help as I'd done before, but things fade on me before I get the chance to act and I'm awake.

Nov. 9, 2012 4:00am-6:00am (the time period for all these dreams) Before these dreams, I would like to say that I woke up to go to the bathroom at around 2:50am. My dad was also on the computer in the other room at this time, and I couldn't fall back to sleep until 4:00am, which is when these events take place: I can't remember anything about this dream other than I gained lucidity at the end of it, then woke up immediately due to excitement. I didn't realize it when I woke up. When I woke up, I barely moved if at all. I was confused about why the dream collapsed. I went back to sleep almost immediately. I remember something about my mom in this dream; no idea what :/. What I do remember is being in a hotel with my grandmother. She was sleeping in the hotel room's bed on the left side when facing the bed. I was standing right next to the place she was sleeping. There was a bubble-like force field around the bed. It was spinning very fast and was colorful and a little transparent. It was called a sphere of confusion and, for some reason, it was associated with my grandmother. I walked around the bed, careful not to touch the force field. When I got to the other side, I walked through the force field. When I did, I gained lucidity and became trapped in a void of blackness. I felt as though I was kind of falling, but not really. I quickly woke after that. I didn't move at all when I woke up. This time, I realized the reason I couldn't keep the dream going was due to too much excitement. I fell back to sleep after a few seconds, and quickly started dreaming. This time, it was a false awakening. I got out of my bed and did a reality check (probably looked at the time). I became lucid. This time I remembered I had to stabilize the dream, so I looked at my hands and rubbed them together. Then my third lucid dream of my life really began. I started to imagine a scene where I could see naked women (lulz I'm a huge pervert in LD's). I closed my eyes and imagined a beach. When I opened them, there was a beach, with all the waves and ocean. I found an empty lawn chair with an umbrella up and sat in it. Soon after, I was watching some horny-looking naked women walk up to me in slow motion. One I remember very well was a naked Hispanic chick with the biggest breasts in the world, pretty much. They were humongous. They were as big as really big beach balls. I think she was the last one I saw. After that, I wanted to have sex. For some reason, I imagined a theater; an opera theater. I was in the rightmost path for the seats, very close to the stage. People were in the seats, watching the show, but I wasn't paying much attention to them. On the stage, there were many sexy women in very skimpy outfits dancing for the audience. There were also some props on the stage: a piano, a very long table, and an art canvas. The women were standing on top of them. The one woman who really stood out was a woman in her 20's standing on the part of the table closest to me. She had the skimpiest outfit on, which was very transparent fabric. You could see everything on her. This made me horny, so for some reason, I made my way to the bathroom, which was a public bathroom. They were on opposite sides of the theater, with the women's bathroom on the left and the men's bathroom on the right. I didn't go directly into the women's bathroom, but I went into the men's one because it was closer and I had the intention to sneak into the women's bathroom from there. When I entered it, there was a giant glass window that divided the men's from the women's. I saw a really beautiful girl who I had the intention to have sex with. I walked over to a hallway that went INTO the women's bathroom. It was then that I lost my lucidity. I couldn't remember much in the theater after I lost lucidity (I might have gone behind the stage and seen a very sexy show, with pink and blue lights). I do remember ending up at a mansion. Apparently, there was a business party going on there. Everyone was very classy and wore suits and dresses. I found this cute Korean chick (probably to do with this Korean girl I knew from second grade) with a red dress in the lower floors. She was being asked out by some random guy. The Korean chick said yes to him, and I naturally felt jealous. She then came over to me and said "Come on," like we were very friendly. We went over to the lowest floor (because the mansion was just one giant room, really) where there was a desk. Someone I know from school, named Jn, came over and asked out the Korean chick. He was dressed really fancy with a suit and tie and everything. She said she already had a date, and Jn said "Okay," and walked away. We then talked about stuff I don't remember. I eventually turn around and see that the parking lot (which is also on the lowest floor) was flooded. People were panicking and trying to get to their cars to drive away. The place I was was perfectly fine though. The dream ended there and I woke up.

[Saturday, November 3rd, 2012] <I lied in my bed, after stretching and meditating for a good long time. I told myself and whoever would help me, that I needed help having a meaningful dream. Or a lucid dream. Falling asleep- I instantly began to have dreams, just cloudy ones. I woke up after some time. And re-thought my intentions to wake up and not move to enter into a DEILD.> The next time I wake up, completely still. I feel my body frozen and numb. I will myself up out of my bed towards the front end of it. And find my back to the wall. I repeated in my head- "MAINTAIN CONTROL. MAINTAIN CONTROL." But I struggled and got excited and woke up. I rose my head out from the covers and thought- "WAIT, THIS IS ANOTHER DREAM." Suddenly, the darkness in front of me was transformed... into odd colors and sounds. Spirals and fireworks. The door had an outline of light that was separated from the door itself! I got excited again and... <Then I woke up for real.> <Through my excitement, I still fell back asleep.> I'm in a mix of Safeway and Target. I go back with Nathan and Alex to the back of the store. I find a dark corner where no one goes and in the wall, there's a panel missing. I crawl into the panel and sit there for a moment in the dusty old grey... and feel... a strange deja vu wipe over me. I find my old, golden, thin-frame glasses that my Mom's been looking for over two years to find. <fast forward in dream> Scientists figure out how to create God, and the head of the company in charge is talking to the father of "Morel Orel"'s Orel. They're in a dark room with a spot light on their wooden meeting table. Orel's Dad sat there in a dim meeting room as one of his lead scientists said: "We've been able to create women, doughnuts, nipples, cars...the whole works!" Orel's Dad squinted his eyes and said, "Ooohkaayyy. Riiiight." In mocking disbelief. The scientists went on to tell him that he was to receive cars and money and new technology. He owned half the company apparently! I remember a faint impression of being in Nevada or a desert area and I saw large satellite dishes. <fast forward in dream> My twin brother had a book that would allow him to have whatever he wanted. He just had to write it in a blank page. He was mad at me for some reason and was threatening to write me away. I grabbed the book and held it shut, we both tried forcing the book out of each others hand. He tried to cut my hair with a pair of scissors, but I got my head away. I grabbed the scissors and pretended to cut his hair until he let go of the book. Then I ran into the other room and hid the book.
I had an unplanned DEILD but I excepted it. As soon as the vibes stop I roll out. First thing I did was head to my window. I see these plants growing from the outside wall of the house. They look extremely detailed. I could see the lines and the patterns they make are symmetrical. I then remember to try to speak to my inner awareness again. I look up and yell out "Hello?" and a childlike voice responds back saying "yes?" I then ask "who are you??" it responds but when I wake up I just couldn't recall what it said it was.
