    1. 16 Jan: Dream orgasm

      by , 01-16-2013 at 11:27 PM (Lucid-schizo-dreamer)
non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

For a couple of months I couldn't post here due to some techical glitch, but today, finally, I managed to do so. Allelujah!

I was living at some community. I remember familiar faces, a stone house, a heavy wooden door, a basement. And then some intense lightning in the sky and everybody rushing to the outside to see it better.
From the clouds appears some kind of UFO, which turns out to be a flying blue convertible, which lands on a terrace nearby. Everybody runs to its encounter, but I stay behind at the entrance of the house. A guy from the group also doesn't join them and instead approaches me in a seductive way. I didn't know he was interested in me, but I like it. He holds me from behind, caresses me and starts undressing me. At first I'm a bit worried the others may come back and catch us. So when he asks me if I can put myself in a certain position. I hesitate. But then I cave in and we do it.
It is so clear and real, that I feel everything in detail. I reach orgasm. I know by now that I am dreaming, but the effect is real and I wake up feeling the body spasms. They are so very intense that I feel the chakras below my waist vibrating with it.
The truth is, I had a strong pain in my coccyx for over more than a week, due to a fall when skating and I was considering taking an X-ray this morning. But as I felt that orgasm, I also felt I was being healed and I got up no longer feeling the damn pain.

    2. Pool Care in the Temple of Zeus

      by , 12-18-2012 at 06:05 PM
This was one of two lucid dreams that came out of an experiment with caffeine during WBTB that I tried last night. (Thanks, Xanous!) My beverage of choice was green tea.

      Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid

Lucid #44: Pool Care in the Temple of Zeus

I'm standing outside of a pool where people are swimming around having a business meeting. They're fretting about the now-green condition of another pool that's one story down and perhaps 100 feet away from the one where the meeting is taking place. I jump into the clean pool, swim toward the meeting, and explain that all we'll need to do is get the Ph and stabilizer levels fixed up and then shock it with liquid chlorine or even household bleach. They're relieved and grateful, and I have one moment of contentment before I realize that I jumped into the pool wearing a backpack with a laptop in it and have probably ruined it. I'm pretty distressed by thus until I realize that I'm dreaming.

"Got to go, everybody! This is all a dream." The other swimmers seem mildly surprised by this but they quickly accept it and go back to their meeting.

In the distance I see that the pool ends at what appears to be a sheer drop-off. Past that, I see the skyline of a city in the early morning. Eager to explore, I try to rise out of the water but somehow have trouble getting into the air. I yell out that I am going to fly into the air and nothing will stop me. I employ some probably-unnecessary profanity in my speech. I shoot out of the water, knifing through some overhanging tree branches
(where did these come from?) and land on the roof of a stone temple in the style of Ancient Greece.

I'm overlooking a large, open-air courtyard that's surrounded by Doric columns. Past the courtyard is miles of grassland and a sky that's dark with storm clouds. The clouds are lit up with occasional bursts of sheet lightning and I hear low rumbles of thunder.

There's a strange platform of gray stone suspended above me and it's hung low enough that I can't stand fully upright. I decide to phase and begin pushing my hand upward against the platform, which feels solid. I push harder, and my fingers start digging chunks of stone out of the platform. I'm somewhat pleased by this but I decided to refocus my efforts on phasing through the platform.

I push my hands and head into the stone and this time it feels cottony and insubstantial. My vision goes black as my head disappears into the stone and I feel my feet leaving the temple roof. I float upward through the "stone", gradually becoming disoriented. I feel like I'm in a bed now, but I don't believe it. Still blind, I reach out, grabbing onto a pillow. I suddenly become very aware of my sleeping body and
wake up in my real bed.

    3. Crazy Lightning Strikes

by , 12-02-2012 at 05:06 PM (...from the dark corners of my mind...)
      DJ Log: December 2, 2012 – 6:15AM (USA Eastern)
      NON-DREAMNOTESDREAMLUCID

I am standing in a garage talking with a couple other guys about car stuff. Suddenly, a couple strikes of lightning flash nearby. A brief moment later, lightning strikes the church steeple across a field behind the garage a few times. After a short pause, the lightning strikes repeatedly for about 10 seconds. It sounds like a machine gun firing as it is striking repeatedly and rapidly. Then, it stops just as quick as it started.

The other guys in the garage don't seem impressed, but I'm a bit wired because that was the some of the wildest lightning I have ever seen. They are just acting like it happens every day. I just roll my eyes and go back to talking about car stuff. One of the guys asks me to help him put on a seat cover. I get in the back seat and he gets in the front. He takes off the head rest and starts to slide a cover over the back of the seat. I pull it down from the back and fasten Velcro straps at the bottom.

Suddenly, lightning begins another rapid sequence of striking. It strikes the smoke coming from a smoke stack on a factory to the side of the garage. I quickly retrieve a small Flip camera, then I turn it on and begin recording. I hold the camera slightly out the window and can see the lightning arc travel from the sky and strike the smoke coming out of the stack. The lightning is striking repeatedly and so fast that it is nearly a constant arc. I can see the name Bondhaus on one of the stacks.

As I hold the camera, some of the lightning strikes closer and hits the power lines beside the garage. I ask the guy in the front seat to wind up the window. He just gives me a funny look then continues to adjust the seat cover, ignoring me and the lightning. Suddenly, lightning strikes the camera. I look at the screen and it is still recording. There is another really bright flash, and I suddenly wake up.

      Superheroes (8:07)

To their surprise, a group of friends discover that they all have superpowers. The superpower is unique to the person. One of them can create force fields, which comes in handy when villains begin shooting energy bullets at them. Still, she barely gets up the shields in time, which makes her friends nervous enough to shout at her a bit. In the middle of a sentence, someone realizes that the villains just shot a "seminuclear bomb" at them. They all shout and panic, and the bomb goes off. From a distant perspective, you see a cylindrical shield appear around the group just in time to protect them from the blast.

Thinking they've succeeded, the villains approach the area of the ocean where the group of superheroes had been swimming. Soon after they reach the spot, the shield disappears, presumably releasing radiation poisoning into all of the villains. They all start making funny faces. I'm curious about how this movie is going to depict radiation sickness--it seems like something that would be difficult to cartoonify.

      Autumn (8:07) (LUCID)

It's a beautiful fall day. I'm walking over the grass in a section of woods where all the trees are bare of leaves, and I'm not alone. There are dozens of people nearby, walking every which way, although I am traveling alone. I reach the crest of a small hill, but rather than walking down the other side, I keep on walking straight into the air. I suppose that must mean I'm dreaming, but I'm not sure I feel like doing anything about that.

On second thought . . . I do a reality check to get into the mindset of dream control. I still have to prove that I can exercise some kind of control over fire. I decide to try to use lightning. Looking at a nearby tree, I gesture at it somehow. To my surprise, with a flash and a bang, a bolt actually strikes the tree. It's on fire, now, but the fire is highly stylized. The tree is covered in a bunch of orange and black sprites--little crescent moons that randomly switch from left-facing to right-facing. I'm not sure that counts as actually starting a fire. I turn to another tree and try to hit it with lightning, too, but this time, nothing happens.

I give up on the lightning, and try to set the grass on fire with a sweeping motion of my arm. A ramrod-straight, paper-thin line of flame about a dozen feet long appears on the ground, but it doesn't interact much with its surroundings. I try to make lava from the foothills flow down through a nearby riverbed, but that doesn't really work, either.

Carefully, I look up at the clouds above me. I worry that without any trees or grass in my field of vision, the dream will start to come apart. The sky is pretty, but I look down again quickly. A little later, and without any apparent warning, the dream just stops. My vision's not black, per se, but I can't see anything.

      Novice Author (8:07)

A novice author has recorded a video explaining the story behind her recent short book. She starts by reading something apparently from a writing textbook, about how it's a good idea to write the ending first, then pretend to get flustered by all the complicated detail and explain to the reader that you'll have to go back and tell it all from the beginning. I recognize that technique from a lot of the books I've read, and apparently the author does, too, because she looks up from the book to interject a short phrase meaning something like, "Just like they do in the classics!"

While the video credits are rolling, the girl's roommate comes into the room wearing a bathrobe. She's just trying to get her laundry from the machine, but as a joke the vlogger intercepts her, and in the struggle the robe comes untied. Eventually the roommate does manage to put on a pair of underwear. Then the vlogger's top comes off, too, and they sit down on the ground and start kissing. I'm pretty sure this is the first time either of them have explored this part of their sexual orientation, so, good for them!

      Frags:
      • A volcano goes off and we have to climb up a series of gigantic, cubical cliffs in order to escape the lava flows. The cliffs have a consistency similar to tofu. I take a few wrong turns.

    5. Thunder and Lightning

by , 09-30-2012 at 06:05 AM (...from the dark corners of my mind...)

      NON-DREAMNOTESDREAMLUCID

Thunder awakes me and I find myself laying on a blanket under a small pop-up canopy in the back yard. The rain hasn't started yet, but it is close. Lightning streaks through the sky and thunder follows shortly behind. After a moment, I lay down and go back to sleep.
    6. Breaking Through

      by , 09-24-2012 at 04:36 PM

I used to have dreams that take place in or around my father's house, but not in a long while...always the dreams are frustrating, where I can't seem to accomplish what I am trying to do, whether it's just move around, fly, or escape usually.

There's a huge oak tree in the backyard, that whenever I tried to fly up through it (lucid or not) I would get bogged down and trapped in its branches or nearby power lines.
This time, I looked up, intending to fly (not lucid) and saw the tree branches start to crumble and fall all around me. The tree weakened very quickly, then toppled over altogether.
I was able to shoot straight up into the sky, right up into the clouds. There was a storm coming off in the distance, and it was dark and cloudy. I could see the array of lighting off aways.
I dove head-down towards the ground. I could see the water droplets forming in the clouds, about to fall down with me.

Then the dream veered off into some murder nightmare I'd rather forget.
I think the significant part was the tree branches falling and finally feeling free to do something I previously couldn't do physically or mentally in that recurring dream.

It's weird, because I was feeling kind of in tuned with something yesterday, in my waking life. Like psychically connected to people. I just keep having these coincidences and "small world" occurrences, between a lot of my new friends, involving older friends and even exes.
I mean, I know my city is relatively small compared to others (it's Denver) but still...I've only been here one year, and I just found out that I was connected to all my current close friends before I even met them. Even the guy I was recently seeing - we have ties, between mutual friends and other things - like where he used to live with his ex-wife.
It's just tripping me out, I feel like I'm getting a glimpse of something that is supposed to be a secret to me.

    7. Dragons and Lightning!

      by , 09-07-2012 at 01:55 PM
I haven’t had any dreams that I can remember for the past few days, but I finally had some memorable ones this morning. And I was lucid during one of them!

Or well, it was kind of like one big dream but with two parts. And one of them was like, a dream within a dream. So yeah.

Two of my sisters and I are sharing a room together, and the room only has one bed that we all have to sleep on. It’s the morning, and two of my sisters are arguing because there’s not enough room on the bed. One of them gets out and lies down on the floor instead. I curl up at the foot of the bed and I’m like, “I’m going to have a lucid dream now.” And then I fall asleep within the dream and have another dream. A dream within a dream. Oooh.

So anyway, during this part of the dream I was aware I was dreaming and could control aspects of the story. I was sometimes a character in the story and sometimes just an observer.

So, there’s this guy and this girl who are a couple. And they have a pet dragon because … that’s cool. The girl wakes up in the morning. They live in this small wooden house, where sunlight streams in between the planks of wood. The girl walks out the front door, and the dragon is waiting there. It opens its wings––which kind of look like they’re made of lace. That is, they’re black and have this cool transparent pattern on them. In the background, the sun is rising and the sky is red and cloudy. And the girl is like, “Ooh, pretty.”

The guy comes outside to join her. They have some conversation where the girl is like, “Mehhh I’m so ugly!” and the guy is like, “I think you are very attractive!” and whatnot. Then they decide to fly around on the dragon for a while.

So, they get on the dragon and take off. But then suddenly there’s a storm, and they get struck by lightning and fall out of the sky. The guy and the dragon are okay, but the girl goes missing, and all the guy can find are pieces of her shoes.

Back at the cabin, the guy just sits around and cries with the pieces of the girl’s shoes all around him. He has a friend who also lives there, and that guy is sitting by a wood stove and pretends to be crying whenever people stop by so that they’ll leave him alone, or … something. I don’t really know what the logic is.

There were two other parts of the dream, but I don’t remember which part of the dream they were part of, or what they had to do with anything at all. In one part, I was watching this weird steampunk golf tournament on TV. And in another part, I was a man who had to dress up as Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz” for some unknown reason.

      So yup! That’s all, folks.

    8. Fleeting lucidity and many more dreams

      by , 08-27-2012 at 05:02 PM
      Commentary Non-lucid Lucid
Several dreams tonight about hiding from something or searching for something. I had the thought in one of my dreams that I was lucid but when I tried to experience the dream lucidly I came out of it quickly and woke up. I wasn't too frustrated when I woke up.

Nearly Lucid - Strange City - Jail Break - Mountain Lion - Shopping MallArrive in a strange city on a personal "train" station. The city is called "Somerset" and the word is big and bold on every building. One of the first buildings that I passed was the county jail. Some of the windows were busted open and it was obvious that there was a break-out. Nobody seemed concerned on the street but I could sense the fear in the air. I sped up my walking because I didn't want an escaped prisoner sneaking up on me. Around a corner I spotted a still mountain lion on the sidewalk. It frightened me and I thought it would attack me. I decided to attack it first by going up from behind it around the block. I did this but it was gone by the time I rounded the block. Soon, I walked into a mall. I'm shopping for fall/winter clothes thinking about what my girlfriend would like. They were very eccentric clothes, with brightly colored stripes. On the radio, they were playing the Grateful Dead's version of "When I Paint my Masterpiece." I'm done with that. I go walking through the mall. There are many people all around. Suddenly, and I don't know why, I had the thought I'm lucid! I'm lucid!Quickly, the dream became cloudy and the people started to disappear and reappear quickly. I was losing awareness of my dream body. Meanwhile I'm trying to rub my hands and make a hot girl appear.I haven't really read up on the methods for staying lucid yet lol. Then I started waking up, but didn't fully wake up and went into another sleep cycle.

      Lighting & Grateful Dead
Was under a tall bridge in a riverside park with the Grateful Dead (Lesh and Weir were the only ones recognizable). There was a fierce lightning storm and I kept trying to find the best spot to avoid being struck. I was the only one worrying so much. I asked Weir for a ride to my house. He obliged. I said goodbye to the girls, who were people from from my life.

      Tropical Lagoon Detective
I'm in a tropical lagoon. I'm on a rock looking at a cat. The cat is looking for "evidence." Supposedly, it is the best at what it does. I dive in myself and start looking for evidence. The cat looks at me like "who do you think you are?" but then accepts me and we help each other. We go up to this stone memorial that is halfway submerged below the water. There are many names on it but I don't make any of them out. They're clues....

I end up in a house who's first floor is flooded with water. We are hiding but someone on the second floor sees me and says that I'm careless.

Suddenly, I'm on the second floor of a bar overlooking a parade of some sort. It is rather crowded. My old housemate is there. He's not happy with me, lecturing me on how you have to work hard to keep your friends. I consider purchasing a spear gun to protect me from sharks and other dangers but my cat (who has transformed into a human) tells me its not necessary. There has never been a shark attack in that lagoon.

Argument between my aunt and father
It was at a family dinner. There were many people there, some of whom don't like each other; they consisted of some of the women who live in our town who have contributed to the breakup of my aunt and uncle and to the breakup of the friendship between my mother and her best friend and tensions between my mother and aunt (it's fucked up). My aunt started complaining about something she divorced her husband a year ago but everyone in the family including me and my father still loves him and this causes her some anger toward us. My dad is fed up with her complaining and starts verbally arguing with her. They are jabbing each other back and forth in front of each other. There is insults against the others genitalia. Finally, I get between my dad and aunt, point to my aunt and say, "you have to leave" and then point to my dad and say "and you have to stop criticizing her in front of everybody." At that, they do as I demand. I walk my aunt out and as she leaves I kiss my hand and put it to hers. She has this really kind of gross way of kissing where she purses her lips to an extreme degree. That is why I didn't kiss her face.

    10. Lightning Storm and Back-to-School Madness

      by , 08-23-2012 at 01:30 PM
Two dreams from last night ... Both of them pretty long, neither of them lucid. But they were pretty memorable and detailed, at least.

      DREAM #1

      Time: 1:05

I'm with my family. We're staying at a huge house in Cape Cod with really large windows. In part of the dream I have to sleep somewhere weird like on a chair in the kitchen. I wake up there and think it's the middle of the night, but then my mom is in the kitchen and tells me it's 7 AM. Everyone else in the family is in the living room, which is joined with the kitchen, watching TV.

Then there's a huge lightning storm outside. I stand next to Milo (my little brother), and we watch the storm. We can see the ocean from our house, and it's getting closer and closer. Waves start coming in under the door, and Milo starts screaming and freaking out. I keep yelling at him to calm down, but then I'm secretly worried that the house is going to collapse.

So we all run around the house for a while, admiring all the beautiful lightning outside, and stuff.

After the storm is over, my mom is telling us about how there's going to be a photography competition for people who took pictures during the storm. My sisters and I plan to go to the awards ceremony for this contest, because apparently there are going to be cute teenage boy photographers there or something.

I'm sitting on top of a large bouncy ball during this conversation. The ball has a map of the world on it, drawn in blue and white.

My dad walks in and hands me a really beat-up envelope with green Crayon drawings on it that I assume were drawn by Teddy (my other little brother). Inside is a letter telling me I got into Ithaca College. For some reason everyone in my family seems to find it hilarious. It's either because the letter is old or because it got sent really late, after I've already been through a year of college. Don't know. Anyway, I feel disappointed because I thought the letter would be something more important.

Side note: my sister woke me up from this dream asking if I was okay...apparently I was moving around a lot during the last 30 seconds of the dream or so, and she thought something was wrong with me. Ah haha.

      DREAM #2

      Time: ~7:30

I return to Hampshire (where I go to college). When I get there, none of my friends are living in the same hallway as me like they’re supposed to. So, everyone else is a complete stranger.

I go into one girl’s room. I sit on her bed with her. She has really curly brown hair. She asks me what I’ve been doing lately, and I tell her I’ve been doing a lot of writing and drawing.

No one else in our hallway is there, because apparently they’re all on “Project Runway” and are off designing clothes all day, and don’t come home until late at night.

The curly-haired girl and I decide to go to some party or something that’s going on. It’s this outdoor event where everybody is sitting at round, black tables on some kind of patio or something. There’s a guy giving a speech, and everyone gives me and the curly-haired girl mean looks because we walked in on the middle of the guy’s speech.

The girl and I sit down at a table. The guy giving the speech says that there should be a bowl of fruit at the center of our table, but the bowl on our table is empty. When I look around, I see that all the other tables have huge bowls of blueberries and strawberries on them. The curly-haired girl is very upset that we don’t have any fruit.

After that, I go to talk to my mom and Fiona (my sister) who are apparently also there. They’re standing next to this pile of what looks like Spanish rice, with tiny mussels in it. It looks really nasty, but my mom says we have to eat some of it. I pick up a handful and eat it, and discover that the mussels just kind of taste like black beans or something, so it actually tastes quite good. So, I keep eating the stuff. For some reason, as I’m eating I think about a time someone apparently told me that you could survive if you only ate three grapes a day––which I’m pretty sure is not true, but in the dream I’m like, “That’s such a fascinating fact!” Fiona is still reluctant to eat the rice, but she eats some of it anyway.

I decide I’m going to go make a sandwich, because apparently there are sandwich-making materials around. I have difficulty finding two pieces of bread, for some reason. The bread is kind of dark … whole wheat, I guess? I put several pieces of orange-colored cheese in the sandwich––and I want to find some turkey, but I can’t find any.

I find a row of fruit, and I’m excited because I decide I really want some fruit. There’s a different set of tongs for each kind of fruit. I want strawberries, but the strawberries don’t seem to have their own set of tongs––so I use the ones that are supposed to be for cheese. Some lady––who looks like my 11th-grade Chemistry teacher––comes up to me and starts yelling at me, saying I’ve made the strawberries taste like cheese or something. I also feel guilty because I realize that, if someone was allergic to strawberries, they can’t eat any cheese now.

I go to look for some coffee, and I find that there aren’t many coffee cups left. There’s this hippy-ish guy with a long, pale beard cleaning out all the coffee mugs in a sink, but he’s not doing a very careful job. He’s just kind of carelessly rinsing them out and putting them on the counter. I pick up a mug that he just rinsed out, and it still looks dirty. But the other mugs left are weirdly-shaped and I don’t want to use them.

And uh, that’s all I can remember.
    11. Face Transplant; Google Lightning; Holy Bat-Slide!

      by , 08-15-2012 at 04:13 AM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
      Face Transplant

A guy was talking to a doc thinking he was in private. It was a futuristic doctors office with clear walls, but it was sound proof. The only thing was, the room had a recording device in it, and everything this patient would say was transmitted through every other room.

At first, I don't know what the patient was in for. The patient was explaining why something should be a certain way and he was a genius telling the doc all these details about the company. The details were important because it was his support for whatever he was explaining.

The doc was smiling because he knew the patient was a genius, and it was a joy to listen to such a sharp mind think. The guy was rattling off support for his argument with information few people would know. The facts he was rattling off were bullshit like water being poured into different glasses and some such, but in the dream it was really good support for his argument.

During the patients explanation, I saw a doc or a michine sewing up a cube of a blue sticky substance. It was as though it had been injured and a futuristic sewing job was taking place. Three needles came down and went just belowe the surface of this substance. the needles were guided buy a lazer or something.

Now the patient in this one docs room is talking to the doc about getting a face transplant. He had already had one transplant to get a nice face. Now he wanted his old face even though it was the ugliest face in the world. The reason is what he was explaining to the doc the whole time.

The company was part his. There was some new technology, but with his new face, the partners wouldn't pay him. It was as though he was someone else. His 2nd surgery would put him back into his old face with hair like an old American aristocrat wig.

It was supposed to be bad that everyone could hear what the patient was saying, but as he told of his plan to have the transplant, it became unimportant because nobody could trick him out of the money from his invention.

      Google Lightning

I was sitting in a job interview with another guy. We were waiting to be interviewed, but the other guy was being told he could go home and wasn't going to get the job. He may have already had his interview.

This other guy started making square bowl type shapes out of aluminum foil which he adhered to a protuberance on the ceiling. He put the foil over very particular spots which he said would short something out.

He explained there was a wet screw on the roof that would draw lightning, and when the lightning struck, the electricity would be drawn down to the foil bowls and short out something in the company which had something to do with Google.

Someone was going to fix the problem as it was on the roof, but all of a sudden it was me up on the roof trying to fix the problem. I saw a pole on a wet flooded roof and it was secured some weird way or something. I had to knock it over to disconnect the metal, but I said Fuck THAT as the roof was flooded, and I was standing in it in a lightning storm.

I ran away off the building, and now I'm with a couple friends M. S. and someone else having drinks and smoking some stuff. At first I was only drinking. M. and some girl were smoking like crazy. I decided to take a hit (which I don't do iwl). I took a pipe which was basically melting. I had to hit this pipe where as I hit it, heating it up, the pipe melted and I got this molten ceramic in my mouth. It didn't even have the intended effect, but it was cool to dream.

Then we were in a bar of sorts. Some stuff happened, we left, and then I realized I was missing my wallet. I told a friend who was now a fictitious person. I told him what happened and he said, Do you know how to roll?" He meant how to run away and deal with people shooting at me. I told him yes. He said to go with him, so I did.

We were going to go back into the bar and find out who had my wallet. As we went back to the bar, we went through an elaborate slide. It was like tubes in a water park, except they were metal and there was no water. At some points it was just a flat surface. There were two black guys shooting at each other and we had to avoid their bullets.

Once we got past them, we were outside. Now one of those guys was shooting at us. Batman was with me now. He shot a web like Spiderman, except that it was a slide that came from his wrist. I thought it was ridiculous that he would be able to produces this slide, but since I had to get away from the shooter, I followed his lead and jumped on.

The slide was made out of recycled rubber chips. It was gray, and water was flowing in it. The water helped you move on your stomach to get away from the bad guys without exposing yourself to their bullets. The way the slide was laid out, you could go different ways on the slide making it even harder for the bad guys to hit you. Around one curve there was grass growing around a curve. It was so stupid that this could come from Batmans wrist, but It all worked so well.

      The End

    12. Zombie encounter at the store

by , 08-04-2012 at 08:34 AM (Sea of the Unconscious)
I was either traveling to China with my father, or already in China. I was in a store looking for a suitcase with a few dudes, then they were replaced by my crush, Jade. One of the suitcases had some glass compartments, and I thought, “they’d be perfect for storing food, even ice cream!”

I saw that my dad had tried to call me on my phone, but my phone didn’t have service anymore. I asked to borrow Jade’s phone, and when I started pressing buttons, the phone was beeping. Jade grabbed the phone from me, hurriedly putting the phone on silent so we wouldn’t be heard. I urged her to hurry up, as people started to gather in the room we were in; they made me uneasy. Some of those people were missing limbs, or were smeared with blood.

Just imagine the blood is a darker shade, closer to purple.

Suddenly all of the merchandise in the room was gone, and there was just a circle of chairs. One man sat in a chair and started sharing a zombie story. Jade got excited and wanted to join.

“Jade, don’t, we have to go.”

“Caenis, you have to do what I say!” Good to know she's demanding even in my dreams. Jade sat down next to the man sharing the story, and quickly began sharing her own zombie story.

I watched the crowd of bloodied and dazed people grow. Anxious, I abandoned Jade, making my way to the front of the store. The front of the store was dark, most of the lights had gone out. There weren’t any more humans, crowds of zombies passed me by. I peered in a room where a human corpse was sitting in a chair, with a severed zombie head on top of his. His head was crushed beneath the zombie head.

I found the exit and wandered the streets. Zombies and humans ran chaotically through the city. Zombie blood sprayed my right cheek. I wiped it off and decided that I wouldn’t turn into a zombie from coming in contact with the blood. I observed a few zombies get struck by lightning, and thought it fitting that even nature was trying to retaliate against the zombies.

I found a nice couple to travel with, and we walked to a Georgian city. We stopped in front of a large, elevated building. I looked up and muttered “No….” It was a train station. Though there were no zombies on the streets of Georgia, I knew zombies would pour out of that train station. People and zombies alike streamed out of the train station, and lightning struck the building causing an explosion.

My hand was torn or bitten off. Determined to not become a zombie, the couple and I suddenly appeared in a room. They amputated part of my arm in hopes that the zombie infection would not spread. “Cauterize the wound” the woman declared while stretching and cutting my skin. My skin was peach-colored and transparent.

    13. Lucid-Pocket God moment and the elevator of death

by , 07-26-2012 at 06:10 AM (High Quality Head Movies)
The dream started with me in a business office building and I got on an elevator. the elevator was surrounded by glass and moved fast. Suddenly, it started spinning sideways around me and two other people out of control. We were still in place some how as if we were floating, but the elevator car wasn't rectangle shaped it was an oddly shaped polygon and would hit us over and over again even if we tried to avoid it.

When we got to the first floor and other people started to watch in fear, I took my chances and dove off the elevator car and was hit many times on the way out. I lay out in the open and look back at the other two that didn't jump and the elevator was still spinning in place even though it wasn't plummeting down. The people looked up at me with fear in their eyes as the elevator car hit them over and over again and I could see them losing their strength. Then, some workers tried to run up and turn it off and two guys dressed like construction workers jumped in to save the two people and the people jumped out, but then right as the construction workers were about to jump out, this giant arc of electricity shot out and a boom went off. The elevator picked up speed and the workers started floating toward the top of the elevator car.

Then more lightning and electricity and the people were being fried by it and I just stared in horror. Right when it didn't seem it could get any worse, flames burst out in every direction and the elevator car caught on fire and in this moment, the scene of all this chaos made me realize this had to be a dream.

      NOW LUCID!!!NOW LUCID!!!

So I turned and looked at a clock twice and at a closer examination it did change (unlike most dreams where that reality check doesn't work), and my hands weren't misshaped. So I figured I'll just fly then. I jumped up and failed the first time, got mad, and then jumped with more grunting and frustration and I launched.

I flew high above the building and outside was a magnificent view of a sunset with reds and oranges blended in and a 360 degree view of it with cities off in the distance. I notice the sunset is about to go away and I point at it like I would in Pocket God, and I lower my finger and make it dark and the moon comes up. Then I grab the moon and lower it until the sun comes up and I raise the sun much higher until the scene looks good.

I then make it dark and make some lightning strikes and laugh while enjoying myself. I then think that I should try out a dream goal and I fly to a city in the distance and start to realize the dream is almost over when I get there so I just observe some of the city for a minute and my alarm goes off.

Great dream, haven't been lucid in a long time so this was a great feeling.
    14. The Hurricane

by , 07-21-2012 at 02:11 AM (My Dream Journal; Mentis est Infinata)
      Info:
This is a nightmare fragment I had a long time ago. It's extremely blurry and watered down after all these years. I've done my best to fill in the holes and restore it.

      Dream:
The dream starts out in a modified version of my neighborhood. I'm in the driveway next door. It's completely overcast, very windy, and raining very hard. I look up to the sky. The clouds are dark, and moving across the sky at an incredible speed. Worried, I talk to someone nearby. They tell me I'm safe as long as I remain in the driveway. I walk away and continue to watch the raging hurricane, unconvinced.
    15. Chains and Shackles / Victorian House / fOrceez (ToTM)

      NON-DREAMNOTESDREAMLUCID

(Note: I woke up around 3:00AM and decided to get up for a bit. I poured a tall glass of organic apple juice with a little elderberry concentrate added, and then I sat at the computer reading some posts on the DV forums. I read a thread titled I returned to bed around 4:00AM.)

I find myself standing in a small bathroom in an unfamiliar house. The walls have a dark floral wallpaper and the ceiling is covered with decorative square copper tiles. There is no toilet, but there is a tall urinal along the wall. The bathtub is an antique copper claw-foot tub. I look at the fancy copper trimmed mirror and I do not see my reflection. I immediately become lucid and jump into the mirror.

Once on the other side of the mirror, I am standing in an old musty root cellar. The walls are covered with sagging wooden shelves which are full of old dusty wine bottles. There is a single light bulb hanging by its wires in the middle of the ceiling. I walk over and pick up a bottle and I struggle for a second to read the label. I try to pull out the cork, then I reach in my pocket and pull out a cork remover. The wine smells like pungent cheese but it tastes like water. I take a second taste and the flavor slightly develops a sweet rose wine flavor which fades quickly.

Thinking that my lucidity is fading with the flavor, I look up at my surroundings and see that the root cellar has changed into a dungeon. There are rusty chains and shackles hanging on the walls and there are torches on posts sticking out of the floor. I walk over to the wall and feel one of the chains. The rust is gritty and the metal is very cold. There are thick sheets of cobwebs covering all of the walls. When I pull the chain away from the wall, another mirror is revealed. I see my reflection for a split second, then I decide not to get stuck in the mirror. I pull the chains away and take a step back, then jump into the mirror.

On the other side of the mirror, I find myself standing in a small dark bedroom. There is a small dim lamp on a table next to an open window. The curtains are hanging out of the window, blowing in the wind. The bed and dresser are antique Victorian style and there is scratchy music playing from an antique phonograph in the corner. The hardwood floor is dusty and creaks as I walk. I stop and look at a painting on the wall of an old farm scene when I hear someone cough. I look over to see that fOrceez is sitting on a chair next to the phonograph, reading a book. I take a couple of steps toward him and he lowers the book and looks at me over the top of his reading glasses, then he asks me, “How was your flight?” I reply, “It was quite fun, but I'm not done yet!” I quickly turn around and see that the mirror is still on the wall where I came through. I take several steps back and run into the mirror. The surface does not give way at all and I bounce off and fall on my ass. fOrceez laughs as I stand up, dust myself off, and glare at the mirror. I cannot see my reflection, rather just a dark gray TV static pattern. Deciding that I'll just find another mirror elsewhere, I jump out of the window and fall into the ocean.

(Note: For the first time that I can recall, falling did not wake me up or trigger a FA. I'm marking the last part as non-lucid because I think my lucidity was lost during the fall, but I'm fairly certain that I remained in the same dream.)

I hit the cold water and struggle for a moment to swim back to the surface. Once I regain a couple of breaths, I find that I am swimming in a very stormy ocean far from land. Just as I turn around to see if I am near anything, lightning strikes the water just in front of me. I suddenly wake up with the sound of the thunder still rumbling through my head.
