    1. 30th Shared Dreaming Attempt - Ahsaka

      Ahsaka's Dreams

      1. While walking along a frozen river I noticed a light shining up from under the ice. A car was submerged, it's headlights still illuminated. I called for help and we tried to break through the ice to the vehicle.

      2. At my mothers some men rudely barged in and began taking her possessions, claiming that if she can't pay back the money she owes then they will take her belongings to cover the debt. I am surprisingly calm during this and talked with one of the men about his line of work.

      3. My laptop gets a virus and someone named Leo or Leon X takes control of it. Instead of getting upset I simply watched as he accessed all kinds of interesting information via my laptop. Most of the websites he visited are paranormal in nature.

      4. I suddenly decided to strip off my pants and underpants and take a walk around the neighbor hood. As I walked I was not bothered at all by the fact that everything down below was exposed. Instead I felt liberated and wondered why I hadn't done this before.

      5. I was reading a book about brain chemistry and the effects of different substances on it. There was a part on dreaming that was interesting. It basically stated that dreaming makes one more intelligent because dreams make it easier for neurotransmitters to bridge the synaptic cleft.

      6. I was very exhausted. I looked into a mirror. My reflection appeared corpse like. I wondered what was wrong with me. I looked perfectly fine yesterday. I think it is time I see a doctor. It's been a long time since I've been to one.
    2. Controlling the Elements

      9/9/11

      MILD + FA

      Recall: somewhat poor

      Notes:

Advanced task (control 2/4 elements) complete; basic failed

I woke up in the middle of the night to get some water and I decided to do some mantras while I was going back to sleep. I have noticed it is much easier to focus on the mantras without distraction during WBTBs. Hopefully this is the end of the dry spell.

I don't remember what made me lucid, but I did the nose RC and I could breathe. I am in some building and I start rubbing my hands together. I look down and I see that there are at least two extra fingers jammed into the gaps between the others. So even though my fingers are spread, all the space is filled up by other fingers.

I walk down a white hallway that gently slopes downward. I remembered the tasks so I try to imagine a body of water ahead of me. As I look up, I see the edge of a pool. I round the corner and there is an indoor water park. There are fake trees everywhere and I smell chlorine. I stand next to the shallow end of this pool. I thought I would rather test this out in shallow water. I go to where it is around 1 ft. deep, and I imagine the sensation of stepping forward and feeling solid ground for the water. I step forward and sink. Although I am up to my calves in water, I don't feel wet. I try it again and still sink.

I decided to give the advanced task a try. It seemed easier anyway. I extend my hand and use telekinesis to raise up a string of water. I make it twirl and spin in the air for awhile. Then I wanted to try the fire part. I imagined heat building up in my hand and I trust it forward. I small flame appears but it dissipates quickly. Well that was anti-climactic.

I go for air next. I get in a fighting like stance and try to condense a ball of air. I shoot it forward at some guy and he gets blown back. He gets back up and starts coming toward me. He looks pretty pissed. Good time to try the earth part. But I look around and I'm still in an indoor water park; I can't see any real earth to use. He is getting close so I give it a shot anyway. I fling my hands at him and expect some large rocks to be launched toward him from behind me. No dice. He is within a few feet so I need to attack him the old fashioned way. I jump forward and land one punch to his face; he goes down. Just then, it starts raining large brown boulders. I rationalize that I must have pulled the boulders from far away so it took awhile for them to get there. After like 5 seconds of giant boulders crashing down, it ends. Somehow there is no debris anywhere.

I lose the dream and am in a bed. I try to DEILD, but I realize it is an FA. I get up and stabilize for a bit. I recall trying to fly somewhere, but thats all I can remember.

    3. Basic Task of the Month - September

      by , 09-08-2011 at 04:54 PM
I did the advanced task yesterday and this is the basic task completed (ironically this event happened against my will):

I was on very nice sandy beach with lots of people lying down, trying to sunbathe. At first I did the same, I sat on the warm, white sand and looked into the distant blue sky. Strangely, there were two enormous celestial bodies in the direction I was looking at but no-one found it the least bit odd. At this point I sort of knew that this was in fact not reality. Upon realising this, I thought "what the heck, lets just go nuts" and started sprinting towards the water. As I was closing the distance between myself and the water, the sky darkened rapidly and soon brilliantly lit stars filled the night sky. The moon also came up overhead and illuminated the entire ocean. The water was now emitting a sort of bioluminescent blue. I carried on running, and as I reached the edge I tried to jump into it to make a splash. But to my complete amazement I just bounced and slid on top of the water; I didn't even sink into it one bit. I touched the water to ensure that it had the properties of water, which it did. I tried to use my weight to force myself into the water but it simply didn't happen. I found myself on the surface and not even a bit wet. So I stood up and started walking. Within seconds I fell because the surface was extremely slippery. I tried a few more times, managing to stay upright for mere moments before toppling once again. Eventually I gave up and decided to do what penguins do - belly slide. It was definitely the most fun I've had for a while. On that surface I experienced little to no friction and I just kept on sliding. Eventually this dream world started to fade and became more and more blurred.

      I woke up and sighed.

    4. 08/24/2011 - Fragment, "Fencing Failure"

      Dream (Fragment) One

All I remember is meeting the 'Chocolate Rain' dude, Tay Zonday, at a water park like Water Mania. We turned out to be pretty chill, and after the park we went back to produce a track at my place.

      Dream Two
      "Fencing Failure"

I was at an airshow, with some other guy and a girl. At first, we were all outside, in a field. There were a lot of children running around, and most of us were sitting on picnic blankets and pallets in the grass. One plane, in particular, was hovering nearby, firing an endless stream of machine gun fire. It looked like an older plane, but had 'jump-jet' technology, like the modern day Harriers. Some kid was sitting on a blanket in front of me was eating an ice cream cone. When he got finished with it, he chucked it away carelessly, causing some of it to land on my blanket. Annoyed by this, I flicked the cone - which still had ice cream in it - back over to him. It stopped just before him, but didn't touch him. The pre-teen escalated things by standing up, picking up the remaining scoop of ice cream and chucking it at me. Now rather pissed, I got up, grabbed a big glob of the ice cream and walked over to the kid, taking my hand and smashing the ice cream all into his face.

The kid was furious. Lol. He grabbed a fake (but sturdy) sword, from somewhere, and started attacking me with it, relentlessly. Still agitated, but finding this slightly humorous, I borrowed a fake sword from another kid, and I started deflecting this brat's attacks while he swung at me with all he had. Some of my friends were encouraging me not to egg him on, because they figured I would get in trouble for being in an altercation like this with a child. I replied that I was just playing with him, and had no plans to actually hurt him. The kid didn't feel the same way, though. Frustrated the he couldn't lay a finger on me, the boy ran to get his dad. By this time, the scenery had change, and a handful of us were now inside a classroom. The caucasian boy's dad - and unexpectedly Asian man - stepped forward. He was brandishing a very real rapier sword, and stared at me intently. Issuing me a (rather formal) challenge, he went into some bloated speech about how I'd made a huge mistake in 'dishonoring his family,' and said that he was some world-rknowned fencing extraordinaire. Possibly trying to prove this, he broke into a comical series of swipes and lunges at the air, with the sword, his complete lack of grace or technique showing that he wasn't quite the bad ass he said he was. Before this, I was about to decline his challenge (because, really, who wants to sword fight over something so juvenille?)[, but when he started trying to show off - and looking as silly as he did - I couldn't resist.

Apparently on my side, a couple of little kids walked over to me, handing me a couple of spare swords to put down in the back of my shirt...just in case. Lol. Anyone still in the room stepped back some, to give us space. Completely amused by the whole situation, I held my toy sword in a downward position, squaring off against the short, portly man. As I got ready, I noticed that my feet didn't feel planted firmly to the ground. Instead, they began to feel light and levitational, like they often do in dreams. This began to make me question the events of the dream, but the man attacked before I could reach full lucidity. Parrying his attacks came as absolutely no challenge, though. He was just kind of flailing the weapon about, with absolutely no form or experience, and I was able to knock away his attempts effortlessly, while still trying to keep my footsteps firmly on the floor.

After one more of his lunges, I launched a foot out and kicked his legs out from under him, bringing him to his knees. I'd had about enough, as it is, and reached down, grabbing his weapon and ripping it out of his hand. Immediately, I walked out of the classroom, leaving him there. Moving through the tight hallways, afterward, I finally became lucid. I had originally planned to locate the Dream World Academy, but I was actually kind of impressed by how cool this rapier was. I was also beginning to feel a little claustrophobic in this hallway, and began to suspect that the man I had just humiliated would come crashing through one of these walls, to retaliate. A little uncomfortable - and without any other immediate plan that I could remember - I decided to have a little fun and try an experiment. I attempted to wake myself up and bring the rapier into the waking world with me.

Gripping the sword tightly, I pulled my eyes open to wake up, focusing on the feeling of the sleek steel of the weapon. As if it had instantly turned to sand, I could feel the metallic rod disintegrate in my hand - a strange sensation, that I haven't felt in a while.

Then awake, I wiggled my fingers and looked at my hands to find...well...nothing, of course.
    5. 08/23/2011 - "Autobots Abroad", "Soap", "Market Melee", "Dirty Pool", Fragment

      08/23/2011
      Dream One
      "Autobots Abroad"

I was Optimus Prime. The other Autobots and I were being summoned by the humans' governmental leaders, to be shipped off to far-away worlds, individually; each distant planet harboring some sort of elite Decepticon 'monsters,' that we were going to have try to destroy, before they came to Earth. There was a lot of contempt for this mission, because we didn't think the humans knew exactly what we were going up against. These weren't any ordinary Decepticons. They were ancient badasses, and even I wasn't sure we would stand our chances against them, on our own. For some reason, though, we had to do what the humans told us on this one.

I got to watch the others depart - even able to see their landings from a disembodied perspective - watching them crash down onto their assigned worlds like fallen meteors. There was a particularly nasty customer left for me, and I was the last one to be shipped away. I don't really remember much of the flight through space, but I do remember first seeing the planet that I had been dispatched to. It looked like almost any other planet, though I can't remember what color it was. Its one unique characteristic was an enormous storm cloud which literally sat 'above' the entire 'northern' part of the planet. It was like a cloud hovering over a snow globe, in that it truly seemed as a separate entity from the planet, itself - like an ominous growth atop the sphere, black and forboding, and seemingly poised to eat the entire planet whole.

I don't remember anything about actually landing, or facing off against the Decepticon giant.

      Dream Two
      "Soap"

Friends, family members and I had been taken at gun-point. There was this little faction of forgettable villains who were going to use me in their scheme to help spring one of their associates from a local prison. Apparently, their plan involved fitting me with some device - which was disguised as a bar of soap - and having me trojan it into the prison. I don't exactly remember what the device actually did, but what I do remember is that they were planning on getting it into the prison by shoving it up my a$$. As one might imagine, I was not down for this.

They, however, didn't really care about my opinion. I was told that, if I didn't comply, they would kill all of us without question. I was chained up by my arms, and some woman stood before me (looking a lot like Emma Frost from the new X-Men movie). I could see the plans for the device, printed on the wall behind her. She moved in closer to me, bringing her hands up and snapping on a pair of latex gloves. I knew that this was not going to be pleasant. Suddenly, though, I realized that I was dreaming! I was just completely creeped out by this situation, though, and the first thing that I did with my lucidity was instinctively cause myself to wake up.

      Dream Three
      "Market Melee"

I was an employee in a grocery store. There was quite a bit that had gone on, already, that I don't remember, but I soon became aware that there was a faction of ninjas and other assassins coming to kill me. I can't remember how I found this out, but I remember walking through the aisle, pushing a stock cart, while explaining to my older, female boss about the killers that were coming for me. She had been walking with me, accusing me of stealing beer from the freezer. Shortly after the accusation, though, she admitted that she found out it wasn't me, but Keifer Sutherland (who was apparently a co-worker) was the guilty party. Again, most of this part I've forgotten. Soon, though, I had become lucid, and anticipating the insurgency.

I don't remember much about when the assassins first started showing up - only that they were mostly a bunch of generic ninjas. I thought about my previous dream, and figured that the assassin concept might have been left over from my prison-scheme escape. They would attack in small groups, but I was just completely outclassing them with martial arts. And there was one female ninja, in particular, to whom I remember giving a vicious spinning heel kick to the face, and at one point, I was walking around the store with a pair of padded nunchaku (like the ones I have IRL, only black instead of white) taunting my attackers with a practice toy.

I remember one break I took, between skirmishes, to rub a stuffed bear on a nearby shelf, taking in the texture and using it to try to solidify the dream state. It worked a bit, but then I got into more fights, and my clarity began waning. At one point, I almost completely lost the dream. I could feel my waking world eyelids, and I tried to keep them from opening. In the dream, things were fading to black. I relaxed and held my eyes closed, but moved my ('real') eyes, as if looking around the room, trying to bring the grocery store environment back into view. After a bit of focus, and taking a brief look at my hands, things were much more vivid again.

There was a short break in the fighting, shortly after, and what seemed like an intermission in the dream.
I was no longer lucid, and riding in a car with a girl who seemed to be a mix between my baby's mom and MJ. Apparently, this girl and I had an infant daughter with each other. She looked a lot like my ex's (MJ) daughter, and even had her daughter's lazy eye, but her eyes were a bright, almost neon green. In the car, I saw the mother being really rough with the baby and, when I went to say something, I noticed that it was just a baby doll in her hands, and the child was safe in her seat. Soon, we were back in the grocery store - baby and all. What I had come to find out was that this baby was rather advanced at her age, and some of the gestures she did, like waving and smiling, were just really surreal to see coming from a kid as little as she was.

Some time around here, my mom had showed up in the dream. I noticed that there were a few strange men following me. Until this time, I had forgotten about the initial onslaught of ninjas, but I was quickly reminded by the shadowy figures looming behind me. I remembered that I was dreaming, and this faction was apparently still after me. I left the child with my mom and drew my followers up near the front of the store. A few stray girls from around the store began to follow along as well, like groupies, which I thought was funny. Now that we were up near the check out counters, I turned to let these guys know that they'd been following me long enough. These particular guys were much more like thugs than ninjas (and kind of more-closely fit the look of the goons from the previous dream), one of them dressed in leather with a biker's vest. We had one particular exchange, where he kept telegraphing that he was going to throw a foot sweep. I kept waiting for it, and when it inevitably came, I hopped over it and twisted at the hip with a roundhouse kick to his face. I remember looking down at him and seeing a pool of blood forming beneath him as he lay there. It looked strange, though; like a crystalized liquid. I reached down to it, and actually picked up the whole red puddle at once, as if it were made of glass. When I got it a few feet off of the ground, it instantly turned back into liquid and splashed down on the ground in front of me.

There was one more opponent that I remember, after the 'biker.' He was dressed to the 9's in a blue tuxedo, slick black hair tucked under a matching top hat. He stood confidently with a magician's wand in one hand. From inside the leather vest of the downed biker, I removed a shoge. I knew I had no experience with a shoge in waking life, but since I was dreaming, I wasn't the least bit worried about it. I began whirling the chained weapon like a pro, using a few generic wrist twirls, and the weapon became a bladed blur. As nonchalant as could be, the magician raised his wand and began spinning it in front of him, between his fingers. I unleashed a barrage of swipes with the shoge - still rotating it around in something of a figure eight - but he blocked every motion with the effortless twirling of his wand as if it were a baton.

This stand-off was the last thing I remember.

      Dream Four
      "Dirty Pool"

I was on a high wall, on the backside of a power plant or something. Murky water/waste was running out of a tube below me - set high in the wall that was standing on - and falling down into a run-off pool. Todd and I were messing around on top of the wall, telling some jokes that I can only remember had something to do with Jean-Claude Van Damme. In the middle of one of my impersonations of him, I ended up falling over the railing nearest to me. Somehow, on my way down to the dirty water, Todd caught me by one leg and pulled me back up onto the wall.

Below another section of this wall, there was a wire-mesh platform suspended over the pool. There was a commotion, and we moved over to get a closer look. Two fighters were circling each other on this mesh, with a crowd of onlookers around them. I can't remember what he was doing, but something tipped me off that the fatter, shirtless fighter (apparently the reigning champ) was cheating. I started yelling accusations at him from my perch, and he was getting visibly annoyed. After 'winning' his fight, he finally called up to me, challenging me for running my mouth, and not coming down to fight him and prove that I had room to talk. At first, I just waved him off. I might have caught the guy cheating, but I'm not stupid, and I know that this guy had the size to just destroy me. Just when I was wondering how to get out of the situation with some dignity, I realized that this had to be a dream. Immediately, my timidness disappeared. I smiled down at him and jumped over the railing, from where I was standing, dropping down toward the mesh platform. It was a good 20ft drop and, halfway down, I tried to levitate before touching the mesh. I wasn't able to pause in the air, but I landed without even bending my knees, with the platform giving just a bit under my weight. It was a relaxed stance that felt a little awkward, but I held it, because it made me cool, as if showing off that I was completely unfazed by this dude's challenge, or the superhuman leap I had just taken.

Unfortunately, I don't remember much of the blow-by-blow, during the fight. All I can remember was that the guy was so slow and sloppy, and I was just completely destroying him. He would lunge and swing and flail - but not hit anything - and I would just be all over him, slinging quick combination counter-punches. I ended up winning, but don't really remember anything after that.

      Dream (Fragment) Five
All I remember is riding a folding chair down Palm Springs Road, in Altamonte, like it was a luge. The road was on a steep incline (which it's not, in waking life), and I was just zooming. It was so much fun and intense. I didn't have any brakes, so I had to lean left and right as hard as I could, at breakneck speed, trying to dodge traffic. There was one time where I was unable to hold my line around a sharp turn, just as an 18-wheeler was coming around the corner, toward me. Careening out of control, ended up going under the bed of the truck, and sliding out the other side before the rear tires had a chance to run me over. That's about all I can recall.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      Hi folks!
No time no see!!! I have been extremely badly trampled with work. I lot changed in my life (in a good way) and now I finally have time for what I like!
I am going to start recording dreams again. In a switch of PCs, I've lost my old journal file (but not at DV) so I will start a brand new one today!

I will start out with the ToTM completed:

I was in downtown trying to use my covert camera for a customer service evaluation at a Property Management Office. The button camera was very flaky and did not start. I checked out the DVR and I could hear one of my mp3 files I use while I am giving a healing to a client. I started to worry the video would malfunction and record the music. I went to the property's restroom to check it out. My shirt was full with wires and buttons... I started to freak out so I walked away from the properly.

Suddenyl, I realized that it made no sense.
I was annoyed of about how fool I was becoming in this dream and checked my hands to rub to my subconscious I realized I was dreaming. 12 fingers.

I entered the property once more without worring about the camera, however, I was not 100% grounded in the dream. I though, "If I record in the dream, will my DVR record it in the Physical plane?" I started the tour with the Agent and when she showed me the pool, I realized that it made no sense that my recording could go from the dream to the physical plane. I told the Agent I was going to show her something. I recalled the advance task of the dream and walked towards the pool. The Agent told me I was going to ruin my hidden camera
(funny how subconscious work, I real life, the camera is covert, but in the dream plane, both my camera and the Agent came from my subconscious, lol) I laughed and kept walking. Suddenly, I felt my feet wet, but I knew I was not going to sink. I walked around the pool and the Agent turned dumb. She stopped being smart and started to just stare at me.

I walked towards the agent and realized that I still needed to the basic one. I started to create a PSI ball and focused on ICE. After a few seconds, I had a ice-ball in my hands. I flung it to the Agent. When it arrived to her face, it was snow instead of ice.
I focused on wind. I already used pyrokinesis and already moved land, so I wanted to try something I never did. I once more focused on a PSI ball and focused on wind. I could see a yellow ball within my hands that moved pretty fast, I focused on it starting to grow. Suddenly, the trees started to move abruptly. I tried to increase the intensity of the wind and knock down a wind. I was not successful, however, I broke several of its branches.

When I realized I completed both the basic and advanced task, I woke up.
    7. The Water City

      by , 09-05-2011 at 03:46 PM (Krista's Dream Journal)
      Dream - Lucid

I was floating on an inner tube through this city of water. The water was very clear, and it was light outside. I feel like I was in trouble, maybe someone's life was on the line. I arrived somewhere, saw something (sorry for the vagueness -_-), and turned around. I was with some other people now.

As we floated down this narrow waterway, there were waves, like it was a wave pool. They weren't very big waves, just small, rolling waves. Well, until we got to the center of the water city; a giant wave was forming, and I went right into it. The people I was with were trying to avoid it, and were trying to tell me to be careful. The wave crashed onto me, pulling me underwater. I could still hear the peoples' muffled voices.
    8. Controlling the elements

      by , 09-05-2011 at 04:49 AM
I did a WBTB. As I lay in bed about to go back to sleep I had every intention of having a lucid dream and completing the Task of the Month of controling the elements. That positive thinking paid off.

      Lucid Dream:

I was looking out over Lake Powell. It was dusk and the lake was mostly in shadows. I already knew I was dreaming. I wanted a better view of the lake so I made my vision rise (I say this because I was not aware of my body or myself flying). In the past I have often had difficulty viewing an area as I flew upward. But I felt very pleased the lake stayed very clear and in focus as my view of it changed. Soon I had a great view of the South end of the Lake. I could see Lone Rock, Wahweap, and Castle Rock.

I remembered that I was going to do the Task of the Month. The Task is to control 2 of the 4 elements. I wanted to control water and fire, but I also wanted to try to do air. I looked at the lake and knew it would be good for the controlling water part. But suddenly I really wanted to do air first. I had wanted to try to form a tornado. And then I looked again at the lake and wondered what it would be like to make a tornado and then set it down on the water and see if I could then form a water spout.

So I concentrated on a place above Wahweap Bay. I made a tornado. It was a little hard to see, but I knew it was there. I carefully lowered it down onto the surface of the water. At first I didn't see anything happen. Then I saw the surface of the water start to move in a circular pattern. Then I saw this large area of water lift and spin up into the air. And then suddenly there was a very large water spout swirling and spinning way up into the air.

I felt proud of myself and considered that a success. I then took myself down to the ground and decided to start a fire with my mind. I had done that several times before and knew that I would have no problem with it. I saw that I was standing next to a stone cabin. There was a clump of dead grass in front of me. I figured that that would be a good place for a fire. I looked at the grass and willed a fire to start. Then I remembered that it was so much easier if I pointed my finger at it while I concentrated. I lifted my finger and instantly the little grass clump ignited. I just stood there for a time and watched the fire burn until the grass was completely consumed by the fire.

I wanted to do more, but at this point my dream ended.
    9. Another mysterious woman / Emotional and sensory overload

I wake up after about 9 hours of sleep. (weekends ftw)
I remember a mess of short and unstable dream fragments, but none of them seem interesting...
For some reason I feel like if I try to fall back asleep I might have an awesome dream though,
plus I'm not in the mood to get up yet whatsoever.
It doesn't take long until I fall asleep.

I'm at some kind of hotel, searching for my room, but I'm a bit lost.
I wander around hoping to randomly find it. I cannot even seem to recall what it looks like. (This is a recurring dream scenario)
The only way to a new corridor is to walk through a gym shower room which I find a bit odd.
I enter it but accidentally hit a lever on one of the walls.
All the showers turn on at once... oops?
I turn the lever back down but it won't stop... shit.

I start to become confused and slightly scared, why does this not work? Why can't I turn it off?
I try other levers at random, but it just makes things worse.
A few people are starting to notice, and are staring at me from the corridor.
There's that scary sensation you get when a nightmare is about to start...

But this gets me thinking. Lost in a hotel... searching for my room, this is a dream sign!

I RC and sure enough, I'm dreaming.
I casually walk out of the room, not really caring about it or the looks on the DC's faces anymore.
They all look very confused at what they're seeing, except for one girl.
She seems happy, even excited? Like she's about to engage me in conversation?
But she doesn't, and I walk right past her... weird...

... I'm outside of the hotel. I sit down at the last free table to have dinner.
I look at the menu and order something.
Whilst I hand the menu back to the waiter, I see that it was hiding the fact that another person had joined me at the table.
It's the girl I've seen earlier when I was exiting the showers.

      "Can I join you?"

Her having seen the shower thing makes me uncomfortable, but there's something about her that intrigues me...

"Sure... I'm Hyu, nice to meet you."

Wait... Hyu? Did I just tell her I'm called Hyu? ...
Oh well, let's just leave it at that.
But then suddenly the realization comes that I was lucid at the end of the shower scene.

I'm still at the same hotel, which means I must still be dreaming.

I look at the girl carefully, trying to find... something out of the ordinary I guess?
But the scene is darkening... shit. Stabilize!
It's too late, the scene vanishes...

... I'm at my hotel room with 3 friends. We want to go out.
I open the door to leave the room but I am greeted by a... grizzly bear?

I casually close the door again, seeing as I must still be dreaming...
      A bear? ... Seriously?
My friends are freaking out screaming things like: "It's a bear!!! We're all going to die!!!"
How annoying... I unsummon them with a wave of my hand.
      Much better!

The room is quite dark... not good.
I start rubbing my hands, hoping to stabilize the dream, but it's not working.
I rub them more vigorously, but then they nearly catch fire and I burn myself.
What the heck? Well... this is obviously not working.
I try to summon the small phoenix wings on my left arm to teleport myself to Teraluna...
... But all I get are a few sparkles shooting out of my arm, like the wing summoning procedure is sort of broken.
I've had this happen before, I can't teleport if my dreams are unstable...
I don't know what to do and I'm afraid I'm going to loose the dream.

      "Booh!"

That startled me. I turn around. It's the same girl yet again.

      "Who are you?"

Maybe it's Faye playing another of her pranks?
I probe her aura... nope... there's no way this is Faye.
But it's not the aura of a DC either, it's way too strong and vibrant for that.

She holds out her hand to me.
I feel adventurous and grab it.
I look into her eyes and I am dragged into them...

Suddenly I'm blinded by intense light.
As my vision normalizes I see that I'm in... a rather special room?
It's a very big apartment room, with glass walls.
I must be in a skyscraper considering how high I am.
It's night outside, I can overlook a rather big city.

The room itself is very weird. It's like an insanely huge bath/pool room?
There are pools, everywhere, connected by small waterfalls.
Water is flowing pretty much from everywhere, showers integrated in the walls / ceiling, waterfalls somehow starting at the top of the room.

      "You like it?"
      "Yeah..."

The girl is now wearing a white bikini with a red flower drawn on it.
She's beautiful... She has brown curly hair and bright white eyes. She's about my age.
I'm still holding her hand and she's dragging me towards one of the smaller waterfalls.
It smells great in here, and that watery breeze is just amazing.
She takes a quick dive under the waterfall and comes back out.
She clearly enjoys the water, you can easily see the passion in her eyes.

      "You haven't answered my question..."
"I won't... I thought you had a thing for mysterious women?"
"I do... but that doesn't change the fact that my curiosity is endless. But how would you know that?"
"Hmm... isn't it obvious? I read about it."

Hold on... did she read my DJ? Is she real?
I'm not going to ask her, that would just be awkward, clearly she knows exactly what's going on.

"I'm assuming your name is top secret as well?"
      "Haha, it totally is!"

She runs one of her hands up my arm.
Suddenly I get goose bumps. The feeling is EXTREME.
What is this? It feels so insanely good.
I brush over her cheek with two of my fingers and I see arcs of electricity moving between my fingers and her cheek.
It feels so good, and I can clearly see that she's enjoying it was well.
I can hear music playing... something electronic, ambient and calm.

      (something a bit like this)

She hugs me and starts running her fingers down my back.
I get a complete sensory overload.
I can feel her fingers with every single skin cell in my back.
I can see every single fiber in the iris of her eyes.
The colors are so strong and vivid that they would burn out my eyes in a split second in waking life.
It's like looking straight into the sun, except you are not blinded.
I can hear every single drop of water in the room, I could pinpoint where exactly each one is, even if I was blind.
I can even hear both of our heartbeats, our breathing, even her hair brushing over her shoulders.

I have no idea what's happening, but I don't care. I'm enjoying this way too much.
I can clearly feel the arcs of lightning everywhere our bodies touch.
I mimic what she's doing and run my fingers down her back.
She shivers with pleasure. It really turns me on.
This is so intense... I can't believe we're doing nothing but touch each other.

She's moving in for a kiss.
I wonder what it's going to feel like...
      We're really close now...

But then of course... I wake up... -_-

      This was rather overwhelming...

      Last nights dreams

      Dream 1

I am walking up a road, I can only move very slowly, like it's a big effort. I get to the top of the road and to my right there are a load of heads popping up and down, they are all grouped together. I have to nod my head at them and each time I nod my head at one it goes down and stays down. I am now running further up the hill, I pass 3 people and I come to a big house like place, the dream now starts over again. I done this about 7 or 8 times over and over ((lol)).

      Dream 2

I am at an outdoor Market, I am looking around, there are lots of tanks all stacked on-top of each other, fish tanks with all different kinds of fish in them, but they are strange fish, fish I have never seen before. There is a woman with shoulder length curly brown hair in-charge, she is wearing jeans and either a green or blue t-shirt. I decide to buy 3 fish that I have seen. 2 were long snake like fish, can't remember what the other fish was like, maybe fat. I go into an indoor Market like place, I tell someone about the fish that I had bought, I also tell them that I have to go and get my fish. The pathway between the 2 markets is now full of water, I thought it was ok so I walked so far across then I found that the water had got too deep for me, I am fighting to stay above it. A man comes toward me, he throws me a wire and pulls hard, he drags me out and saves me. I am now worrying about my fish, I remember that when I bought them the lady took them out of the tank and left them ontop of it. I think "I have to get the fish and put them into water or they will die". I get to the indoor market again, there are also lots of cages in there aswell now. I can see a big digger outside I ask a man about it and he ignores me. I jump onto the digger and try to work it ((Don't know why I done this)) I can't figure it out so I shout to another man on my left "Do you know how to work this?", he says "pull that lever forward and press the button", I say "Ohh yeah, thanks", I move the digger and now feel happy ((again don't know why)) I am now in the indoor market again, I am looking for my fish but there are so many in the tanks and I don't know which ones are mine. I see mine on top of the tank, I panick and pick it up, the fish looks at me and says "you can call me Bob!" ((LMFAO)) I'm amazed because my fish can talk and I go around telling everyone. I look for my other snake like fish and manage to spot it in a tank. I take my fish out of the water and hold it, it keeps biting at my leg and it really hurts it's really snapping at me , so I wrap it in a brown coat, like a mac thing and hold it. It's head is still slightly sticking out because I didn't want to suffocate it ((lol)) . I now take the fish to my tank, I put one of them in and then i go. I now remember that I didn't put the other fish in so I rush back and find my other 2 fish on top of the tank, they have both dried out and are like dry leaves. I look and decide to put them in the tank anyway and they begin to go normal again and swim ((lol)) I now start to worry about what they feed these fish and know that they are hungry. ((dream skip)) I am back at the market where I bought the fish, I ask the woman "what food shall I get for the fish I bought?" she say's "I don't know" The woman then fills a small sock like thing with Brown, Black and Yellow mush and she gives it to me for them.

      Dream 3

I am with my sister and someone else. We are looking in a massive clothes store, I see a small handbag, it is black with red roses on, I go over and admire it and say "Ohh look at this it's beautiful, It's a good one by a proper designer not cheap rubbish! ((lol)) ((dream skip)) I am now in a waterworld inside the store I can see 2 pools and a big water slide, my sister has got her costume on and has jumped in the pool. ((dream skip)) I have my swimming costume on and I'm at the top of the water slide, I go down and land in the pool. There are lots of people here, Men, Women and children all splashing about having fun!. I now have to get through from this pool to the next pool, there is only 1 way through, it's a very, very small gap in the wall, I didn't want to go through because it is soo tight and there is also a collection of everybody elses spit around it. The gap was just below water level. I swam under the water and through the gap and came up on the other side. I feel sick because the spit is all bubbly and all around me, it's touching me ((urghhhhh)) . There is a woman and a child passing me, they are going through to the pool that I have just came from but they don't seem bothered like I was. I am in the next pool and I can hear music playing, it's Madonna but not sure what song. There is a lad in the pool, an old school friend that I don't like much, he comes over and says hello and puts his arm around me. He then gets out of the pool and stands on the side, he has a microphone in his hand now and tries to sing, he sounds bloody awfull...he then publically congratulates me ((not sure why)), and everyone claps, the Madonna music gets louder, and I begin to enjoy myself a bit ..then I wake up!
    12. Wolverine searching for water

      by , 09-01-2011 at 01:33 PM
Yay! First entry in my online dream journal. We'll see how this goes.

The title is bascially the entirety of the only dream I remember last night.

I was apparently a wolverine (the animal, not the x-man) and I was searching through a forest for water. But everytime I come across a stream, it turned out the stream had been paved over. So I was like WTF? and I spent awhile trying to break through the pavement but it turned out there was just dirt underneath. So I continued on looking for a stream and I started asking anyone I met if they knew what was going on. I think I was talking to a squirell for awhile but I don't remember what it said. The first time I tried to ask a person they ran away. The second person I came across offerred me some water from a bottle but I couldn't make it work with my mouth.

I don't remember anything after that but I woke up really thirsty.

I'm at a lake with 3 of my friends, D. S. and a girl. (I actually don't know the girl in waking life, but in the dream I thought I did)
We're just chilling, having a few beers, setting up the barbecue grill and lying in the sun.
The weather is rarely this good around here, this is nice.

We start discussing random things, until we finally reach the topic of the supernatural.
One of my friends, S. immediately insist that everything even remotely related to the supernatural is completely bogus.
      D. on the other hand says that he just believes whatever it is he actually experiences.
If he had a supernatural experience, so be it.
I agree with D. and say that it is always good to be open minded, and have to explain to S.
that there is a huge difference between being open to ideas and actually believing that something supernatural has to exist.
The girl that is with us seems to agree with me, but she's not saying anything.

We argue about this a bit until I get the inexplicable urge to claim that I have actually had supernatural experiences.
This causes some silence, until someone finally asks what happened.
I feel odd, like I'm supposed to say specific things.
The feeling becomes so strong that I just decide to say them.

"The world is actually full of the supernatural, but our limited minds have a tendency to ignore whatever we cannot comprehend."
      "This is such bullshit mate."
      "If you say so."
"Yes, I do say so, the idea that anything like that could exist is just retarded."

The girl talks for the first time:

      "Do you dream, S.?"
"What? no. Who cares about dreams anyways?"
"Then it is no wonder you do not understand."
      "What the fuck?"
      "She's right, S."
"Now you're just fucking with me..."

Sitting right in front of the lake, I start humming a melody.
This catches the girls attention and she sits down next to me.

      "What are you doing?"
"I'm calling out to the mermaids."
      "Wow... do mermaids really exist?"

      S. is just shaking his head claiming that we've gone completely nuts.
But then my humming is answered by songs from far away.
They quickly get closer, until finally, a few figures emerge from the water right in front of us:

They are definitely mermaids, and they seem to be absolutely magical creatures.
The sound of their songs is heard from everywhere at once.
One of the mermaids emerges quite far from the water, in order to come closer to me.
You can clearly see her tail, covered in beautiful fins shimmering in all kinds of colors.
Yet through the outside transparent layer, you can clearly see that she has legs and feet just like us.
      She is insanely cute.

"You're the one singing for us."
      "Yes, I am."
"I am honored. Come with us to our lands and we will sing for you."

Then it sort of strikes me. Such magical encounters don't really happen in waking life, I'm dreaming, it's obvious.
The girl with us, whom I now realize I don't actually know starts talking to another mermaid, and asks her if she can come.

"All of you may come, but there is a price to be paid."
      "A price?"
"We ask for no more than a kiss."

A kiss? what an interesting request.
The girl with us immediately kisses one of the mermaids, and she does so quite passionately.
The mermaid then embraces her and they both disappear into the water.

      "You guys coming?"
      "..."
      "Oh well, suit yourselves..."

I kiss the mermaid in front of me... it is quite salty but very enjoyable nevertheless.
She embraces me and we fall down into the water...

... I'm at the bottom of the ocean, in some sort of habitat.
It is covered by a huge air bubble, allowing myself to breathe.
There's still quite a bit of water though, it is about knee deep, so it is easier to swim from room to room than to walk.
All of the rooms are decorated by colorful corals.
There are mermaids chatting and singing everywhere, it is such a nice place.
The girl who was with me is sleeping in a huge bed with two mermaids by her side.

A mermaid approaches me and puts a necklace around my neck.
It's a silver chain with a crystal tear on it.
It's really nice, but a bit girly.
Not like I'd care about that in a dream though.
I want to tell the mermaid how much I appreciate the gift, but whilst I'm doing it I realize the inevitable:

      "... Faye?"
      "Yes Hyu?"
"... why don't you ever say something?"

She just sticks out her tongue.

"If you were more aware during your dreams you'd notice it earlier."
"How can I be more aware?"
      "Practice practice..."
"Yeah... I figured there was no easy way."
"Now, that wouldn't be any fun, would it?"
"To be honest, it probably would."

      She laughs.

"Yes you're right, it actually would."

I play with her fins. They feel so realistic.

"Hey... shouldn't we be doing something?"
      "Like what?"
"I don't know... like... like visiting Krista!"
"We could, if it'd take you less than half an hour to remember your goals."
"I really need to work on that..."
"Don't you have like... any tips for me? For remembering goals, to increase awareness, anything?"
"How about you'd start by stabilizing all of your dreams properly friend?"

Shit... I've completely forgotten to do that.
And the dream has already darkened quite a bit.
I start rubbing my hands in an attempt to stabilize it, but it doesn't seem to work.
I remain in darkness for a bit until I wake up.
    14. WILD/DEILD experiment - Preventing myself from waking up / Flying with Yuya / Japanese Temple

      by

I decided to experiment with alarm timers last night.
What I basically did was setup my pc so that it would produce a very loud beep at certain times during the night in order to wake me up.
I figured this way I wouldn't have to move (to turn off an alarm for example) and I could make numerous WILD / DEILD attempts during a single night.
This is obviously not a new idea, but I haven't tried anything like if before.
I set the alarms to start after approximately 5 hours of sleep, and then repeat in intervals of 20 minutes for 2 hours.

I wake up thinking the first alarm must have gone off, but I didn't really hear anything.
I'm a bit disorientated but try to remember any dreams.
I recall there being some dream with me driving my car, but no specifics.
Then the alarm goes off. It's quite a bit louder than I thought it would be.
Weird, I must have woken up before it actually went off for the first time.
I then attempt to WILD but fall asleep too quickly.

      *BEEP*
That must have been the second alarm. Unfortunately I moved quite a bit, I think a DEILD is out of the question.
I try to recall any dreams but I can't remember anything whatsoever.
I close my eyes and attempt another WILD.
Surprisingly, I immediately get quite strong HH.
Not only do I get pretty vivid images and lighting flashes, but I also hear voices.
This is quite odd, it's never this intense...
      Hold on a second...
I open my eyes and to the nose plug RC.

I'm dreaming! This is a FA... of course... how did I not think of that?
I float out of bed towards my pc to see if there's anything on the monitor, but it is turned off.

I wake up again, pretty sure of having heard the last half of the alarm sound.
I wonder if this is another FA and realize that this method will obviously cause quite a few FA's and I can't test for them properly if I'm not supposed to move.
But I moved yet again anyways, so I just plug my nose again. I'm pretty sure that I'm awake.
I attempt another WILD, this time focusing stronger on remaining conscious.
I feel more "clear in the head" than before and feel like I have a good chance of success.
I quickly get vivid blue plasma HI, followed by faint memories of images.
They go on for a short time and I am unsure of what I'm supposed to do, so I just wait it out, hoping to enter a lucid.
A first scene forms of be being on a couch with a few people I do not know.
I am right on the verge of entering a lucid dream, I know it, but the scene vanishes.
But is is quickly followed by another scene.
There's snow... a road... people walking the road towards... some kind of temple?
It looks Japanese... people are wearing kimonos.

It's now or never, I have to act.
I try to jerk my dream body forwards, into the scene...
Gravity! I fall for maybe half a meter and my feet hit the snowy road.
My whole body is buzzing, but these vibrations quickly turn into senses.
I can feel the cold wind on my skin and... ouch!
My feet are SO COLD. I'm standing barefoot in the snow.
It is so cold that it nearly hurts, but for some reason it feels really good.
I try to further stabilize the dream by rubbing my hands, but then I get a better idea.
I grab some snow from the road and rub it over my naked chest and it feels incredibly good.
The coldness even causes me to shiver.

Some DC's are giving me odd looks as they are walking past me towards the temple.
I decide to join them and investigate what's going on in the temple, it's not very far away.
This dream is really stable. I bet it has to do with the constant feeling of coldness, which is triggering many of my senses.
I wish coldness and snow would feel this awesome in waking life... I hate winter in waking life.
I reach the temple, which is more of a gate actually.
Behind it is a meeting of many Japanese people wearing traditional clothing.
There's water in the center, a bit like a swimming pool, but very natural.
Some women are dancing on this water, with particles of light floating out of the water.
It reminds me of a scene from FFX:

      I wake up yet again.
I wonder if this is another FA.
Not wanting to move, I attempt to levitate my dream body upwards... which sort of works.

I have some trouble separating my dream body from my real body, but finally I'm floating in my room.
It's different from before, it's like I still feel the attachment to my real body.
I have to think of this dream: Out of body? - Dream Journals - Lucid Dreaming - Dream Views
I try to avoid looking at my real body still in bed, remembering that it freaked me out last time.

      I wake up again.
This time I managed not to move, I even still have my eyes closed.
I try not to think, but I end up thinking that I want to meet Yuya.

A new dream scene forms... it's Teraluna!
Amazing! I look around and notice that I'm sort of floating in the air.

      "Hyu..."

      It's Yuya!

      "Hi!"

      She points towards the ground.
I look down and realize that I am floating about 2 meters above the ground.
And obviously, at this specific moment, I stop floating.
I fall into a tiny river which is right next to Yuyas place.
I quickly emerge from the water and hold on to the terrace the river is flowing by.
Yuya is right in front of me and bursts out laughing.
I have to laugh myself, this is so typical of me.

I get out of the water.
The shock of falling into the river was actually a good thing, it "woke me up".
I talk with Yuya about numerous things, including the dream I just had where I rubbed snow onto my chest.

"I thought you didn't like snow."
"I certainly don't in waking life."
      "You call it mud."
"It usually is, but the snow in the dream was so pure, it was so different."

We're sort of staring at the landscape during our conversation and I casually put my left arm around her waist.
Where does this confidence come from? Usually I'm quite shy around her for some reason.
After we discuss a few more things Yuya presses her back against my chest.

      "Hold me!"
      "Okay?"
      "Hold on to me!"

I put both of my arms around her wondering what's going on.
Within a split second everything turns very dark and my body vibrates.
I can hear the very loud sound of the alarm going off.
I no longer feel, I can't hear anything besides the alarm and I can barely see.
I try to concentrate on the warmth of Yuyas body which is pressed against mine, since it's the only thing I'm still able to feel clearly.
As the alarm sound stops, my senses gradually come back and after a few seconds I can see and feel clearly again.

      "Holy shit!"
"Did we just prevent myself from waking up?"
      "We did indeed."
"This is amazing... You're amazing! ..."
      "Ain't I?"

She says, sticking out her tongue. I have to laugh.

      "Let's go!"

Yuya grows water wings and takes off.
I quickly summon my phoenix wings and go after her.
We leave Haven and fly through the tree crowns of Teraluna.
We're flying quite a bit slower than last time, enjoying the mysterious and beautiful landscape of Teraluna...

I wake up again and decide to take some notes.
I look at my mobile to check the time and realize that all 6 alarms have already passed.
I must have missed a few of them.
I go back to sleep and wake up again after a total of 9 hours of sleep.
But I still feel sort of tired. I did have 6 alarms going off during the night, I guess this makes sense.

Anyways, this was an interesting experience, and I'm probably going to try this again soon.
The feeling of preventing yourself from waking up was quite something!
    15. Stabilization Fail

It was daytime; the sky was a light eggshell blue color. I was in a city square, which was basically an open area surrounded by buildings; the ground consisted of flat, irregularly-shaped light grey stones, almost like a big mosaic. The stones fanned out from the center of the clearing to the outsides of it in a radial pattern. And where the stones all met in the middle of the clearing was a stone fountain with a radius of around fifteen feet; in the middle, water was coming out, up into the sky then falling down in a skinny mushroom cap-shaped curtain. It was sparkly water and gave off a slightly rainbow color in the middle region. Although the water was bluish in color, the whole area had a greyish, paler tone to it. It reminded me of somewhere in Rome.

After a few moments of being in the dream, I became semi-lucid and immediately started rubbing my hands together. I was a bit excited but my energy overall was pretty lethargic. Had I been more aware, I'd definitely have been more eager and excited, and thought of teleporting to an airport sometime. But I wasn't. I rubbed my hands and looked past the fountain at a few French-style buildings; as I did this, I saw one of the Dreamviews member nina's previous avatars, one with a running white dog. It was a perfectly flat, square image that just floated there for a few moments; it was probably a foot by a foot wide. I ultimately ignored it and proceeded to do more stabilization practices, including rubbing my hands along the ground.

I did this for a minute, then remembered to try taking my clothes off as a possible stabilization method! I started to take off my shirt without caring if anyone saw me, since it was just a dream. I was thinking, 'this will definitely prolong the dream!' I didn't imagine the feeling of the fabric or anything, which was what I should've done, so it probably wasn't as effective as it could have been.

Well, the dream ended as soon as my shirt came off.
