Total sleep time: 7.5 hrs Dream quality and recall: dreams were vivid, but I was too alert. The situation was made worse by neighbors and other sounds from nearby individuals. I was looking forward to some nice sleep but got interrupted many times, ruining chances of proper ld and fragmenting recall. Pre bed: Q10, fish oil WBTB: lecithin Fragment1: once again, I recall that I was lucid, but it was in my first REMs, so I just remember many people, and perhaps looking at them made me lucid. This is so annoying. Dream2: At grandma's place, in one of the drawers I find a small golden box with Chinese letters on it. I open it and there are some buddhist things that change to earrings and then an ancient necklace. The necklace reminds me of those worn by Amazon tribes. I myself am not dressed at least above the waist and my hair is like that of a member of that tribe, cut short and colored brown reddish, very thick. I put on that necklace and comment on how well it goes with my hairstyle and lack of clothes. Fragment3: I am in the supermarket with dad. There are two sections where the veggies are, that we have bought from another place, so I wonder, how we are going to go pass the cashier and explain they belong to us and we don't need to pay for them. Our veggies look a bit strange, but I explain to myself that it is because they are Chinese? There are also some cute cactuses, I cannot eat those... Fragment4: I am watching a black and white music video where two girls are flirting with each other. They are actually underwater, and I wonder how are they able to sing. As I wake up, I still hear the music from the video in my head. WBTB: took lecithin, remembered to RC, which is good! I was a bit sleepy, only 4 mins out of bed, so when I returned I did some serious mantra repetition, which unfortunately woke me up too much. I tried cycling, but only did one cycle, because I was getting nervous. It took me about half an hour to fall asleep. Fragment5: I am in my grandma's place again, I am supposed to be some kind of receptionist Fragment6: FA, I wake up in our bed, and things start to get sexy with bf Fragment7: FA, I want to induce a lucid, so I take another tablet of fish oil Fragment8: bf's mom has made an amazing fruit cake, with whatever leftovers she found. I comment it must have taken her at least four hours to prepare it. It is delicious. Dream9: I am observing some kind of glass wall that is supposed to protect the beach from huge waves. I am staring the ocean in front of me, and see large waves rising, up to the moment they get huge. I climb a hill to get away from the high water. I then enter something that looks like our old place and begin packing my things, putting everything in a suitcase, to protect it from the water. Fragment10: In a room, there are lots of umbrellas and I am trying to identify which one is mine Note to self: I really have to remember to RC when waking up, I seem to be getting more FAs recently.

Date: 25 May Total sleep time: 8 hrs Fragment1: I am putting on make up, an eye liner that looks really good Fragment2: someplace with my relatives Fragment3: with friends, and there is dust on my sunglasses Fragment4: on the beach, a friend that I don't like, and two other girls posing for photos Fragment5: I see another friend that I don't like, I try to avoid her but my other friend goes and talks to her, so she sees me as well.
This WILD was amazing. Very vivid and realistic, rich content, successful summoning, and a Task of the Month success (plus a failure.) Forgive the length of this entry, but the dream was 25-30 minutes, and a lot happened! (Edit: After further review... best LD ever.) Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #90: The Night of the Weredog I experience a sharp transition that feels like a short fall face-first onto a paved surface. My arms are splayed out over my head and I can't move. I can see just a bit and it looks like I'm on a basketball court at night, but I'm afraid to open my eyes more to look around. I'm totally paralyzed. I'm conscious and aware but for some reason can't move, and I think I'm experiencing something similar to REM atonia. I know it's all in my head, though, so I start peeling my dream-arms out of this fake physical body by rotating them forward into the ground using thought rather than my muscles. It takes a little effort, but eventually I feel this set of "dream-arms" separate out and move independently. Soon the rest of my dream-body follows and I'm able to exit completely and get to my feet. It is a basketball court -- four of them in fact, all arranged together in one giant rectangle. I'm alone on this court but teenagers are playing small, informal games on the other courts. The courts are surrounded by concrete stands and a metal railing. For fun, I stunt-jump off of the metal railing and land back on the court, then see Wife approaching out of the darkness. She's dressed for bed and looks groggy. "You're still up?" she says. "Shouldn't you get to bed?" "Shhh, it's okay," I say. "Go back to sleep. I'm having one of my dreams." She nods, yawns, and wanders off into the darkness. False awakening averted. I roam around the basketball court for a while before regaining focus on my goals for the dream -- summon NewArtemis and have her do the werewolf tranformation for Advanced Task of the Month. I put my right hand out for the handshake summon and look away, pointing my gaze over my left shoulder. I don't feel anything at first, but I'm relaxed about it. I know it'll work if I just give it time. I imagine the sensation of a hand pressing into my palm, and then slowly, vaguely it takes shape. After a few moments, I give the "hand" a squeeze and it squeezes back. Without looking, I check for a forearm, probing all the way up to the elbow. "[NewArtemis], is that you?" "Hey! Yeah I'm here!" Cool, I think, but I want to be sure the summon's really solid before I look. I check the DC's arm -- quite thin, but it's there. I reach her shoulder and I'm a little worried when it just feels like bare skin. "So before I look... uh, what's the story with your clothing situation?" "It's fine, I'm dressed!" she says. "Come on, quit worrying so much!" Slowly, I turn to look. I'm shocked to see that I'm shaking hands with a short, middle-aged woman in a blue business suit. There's about a half second of sudden blackness and then a hard scene transition -- now I'm shaking hands with NewArtemis (no longer the businesswoman and back to her usual DC appearance) on some beachside boardwalk at night. Success! "Told you!" she crows. "Let's go!" She sprints past a burly, mustachioed man eating an ice cream cone, heading toward the sand. I follow, flying to keep up. As she reaches the beach sand, she notices that I'm flying. She looks annoyed. "You know, I can't seem to get my flying to work right now." I notice that I'm unable to fly more than a few feet off of the ground. I try a Hulk jump and can only manage a measly 20 feet or so. Seeing this, she tries a Hulk jump of her own and manages about 50 feet. "Ha!" There are some dunes along the shore and we practice competitively Hulk jumping up and down the dunes as we continue along the water. After doing this for a bit, we come to a long line of black-robed cultists standing at the top of a dune in a long series of rows, torches in hand. They're droning and chanting, obviously in the middle of performing some dark ritual. There are probably 50 of them in total and I think that this looks like a perfect place to go for the "mythical creature" Task of the Month. "[NewArtemis]! Do your werewolf transformation! These guys are just begging to get eaten by a werewolf." She looks doubtful. "I'm not so sure," she says. "Isn't this just a bunch of college kids doing a fraternity initiation?" Just as she says this, one of the "evil acolytes" flips his hood back. He's a friendly-looking blonde guy with a goofy smile. "Hey guys! Sorry if we freaked you out! We're just a bunch of college kids doing a fraternity initiation!" (He uses her precise wording.) I sigh. We continue for a little while longer, coming to a well-lit swimming pool. "Maybe we should go ahead now and do your werewolf transformation while we're thinking about it," I suggest, and the moment I say this, she changes fast into a big, black dog, bounds ahead of me, and leaps joyfully into the pool! She splashes playfully in the pool for a while, panting and grinning. But as she kicks up more water, the playful splashing turns into thrashing and now the black dog has turned into my 3-year-old son and he's sinking fast. I'm still aware that it's a dream so even though I badly want to pull him out of the water, I don't feel as freaked out as I would in waking life. I dive into the pool and even underwater I can hear my son calling to me. I can see and breathe without any trouble and I swim to the bottom of the pool, scoop him up, then fly back out of the water, landing poolside to tend to him. He seems unharmed and the moment I set him down, he runs off into a nearby grotto. I follow my son into the grotto, a low-ceilinged cave with a shallow pool of water, partially bricked walls, and some form of dim light that reflects off the water and plays across the cave ceiling. I find that my son E has changed back into NewArtemis in human form. "Sorry about the pool thing, man," Art says, rolling her eyes. "Hey, do Task of the Month on these DCs!" She gestures at a family of tourists that are exploring the grotto. (The task is to tell a DC they're not real and see their reaction.) I'm impressed that she reminded me of this. "Good idea! Hey kid," I say, addressing a boy of about 11, "you're not real." "Nuh-uhh..." the kid counters, looking cross and uncomfortable. Okay, that should be good for a Basic completion, but I'm looking for more. Now I address a bearded man in his mid-60s, who I assume is the boy's grandfather. "You're not real. This is all happening inside my dream." "Nonsense," the grandfather says, "you're not real. I'll prove it." He flicks me on the left arm, looking proud of himself. I counterargue by levitating him a couple of feet off of the ground and setting him back down. He blubbers for a moment, then looks off at one of the cave walls, mentally processing this existential crisis. I feel a little bad for him. "[NewArtemis], you should do this too, get those Basic wings," I say, only partly joking. She doesn't respond, and when I look over, she's changed into a man in his late 20s, short-haired, prematurely balding, and slumped against the wall in fatigue. He mumbles something about how long the dream has been and how tired it's made him. I throw the guy over my shoulder and carry him out of the grotto. When I set him down outside, he's turned back into a tired-looking NewArtemis. "Are you okay?" I ask. She says that she is, but everything has started to feel wobbly and unstable. Suddenly, the whole scene rocks and something pitches us forward. We both yelp and I fall flat on my face, my hands flailing out in front of me. I'm semi-paralyzed and the scene has gone dark, but I've managed to grab onto NewArtemis' left ankle where it feels like she's wearing some kind of thick winter sock. There's a loud rumbling in the background that sounds like an earthquake. "I can still move!" yells NewArtemis over the noise and she drags me slowly forward across some kind of rough gravel. My face is smashed down into the gravel so I can't respond. She keeps hauling us forward for about 15 more seconds before the scene collapses into... ...a false awakening in some unknown house. Mom is here and I excitedly start telling her about the incredible LD that I just had, going over as many details as I can recall. She tells me to keep my voice down -- my son R is sleeping in the next room over. I apologize, continuing the recollection in a softer tone of voice. After a while, this scene fades, too, and I'm awake.

Prebed: 1 1/2 glass of soy milk Total sleep time: 8 hrs Recall method: none, woke up briefly after each dream but was so sleepy, I didn't bother to write anything. Did not attempt WBTB either. Everything is so fragmented now, good thing I still remember although with much less detail the short DILD I had. Dream1: We are back to high school and as usual we have to do an extra year. Everybody should be in class soon, I wonder again how are we going to do that. I am waiting for a friend of mine to show up as usual, I don't think he did. Fragment2: One of my classmates, her features are a bit strange and now she also has a sister that looks very similar to her. (She actually has a brother) Fragment3: On the beach, I am watching the waves. I think somebody, it kind of looked like a documentary and I was part of it, said that here the waves are just the right size to swim and maybe surf? Dream4 mini-DILD: The background is grey and a number of DCs that look like zombies are walking towards me. I become lucid. I remember my recent resolution to freestyle during the next lucids and see what I can make out of the situation. I decide that I will use this one to train my reactions. Ok, so they are walking towards me, I don't care at all. I am just consciousness, no material substance, they can't hurt me. They are still advancing, and one comes so close that it actually touches my hand. I feel and see my hand and this destroys my concept of non-materiality. I brace myself for the impact. The dream slowly fades and I wake up. Note to self: Maybe I should spend less time thinking and more time acting in LDs? Fragment5: I go to the kitchen to look for the bottle of water I bought for myself irl and find that one of our guests has opened it and now holds it in her hand. It is too late to say anything, I just wish this hasn't happened. -------------------------------- April Review Number of ld nights: 9 (3 with double lds) Number of lds: 12 (2 WILD, 2 DEILD, 8 DILD) Quality: Good, with few exceptions, a few fade away issues and changing the scene is still a challenge Recall: I am getting used to having a roller-coaster type of recall. I am not sure if I should place additional demands on that at the moment. Things to work on: - I think I might go for some flexibility on task completion and work more on stability. (But who knows in what kind of mood I will be?) - I also want to go back to a more decent WBTB schedule after meeting all kinds of relatives and friends is over. - There are other issues (like changing the scene) to work on but will see how it all goes and deal with them accordingly. I got more than I expected in April, so I won't be expecting more than I can get in May. Just keep dreaming...

I fell asleep at...around 12:30AM-12:45AM after going to bed at 10:15PMish. Yes, I have some difficulty falling asleep. I woke up at 3:40AMish to scribble these down in a physical DJ I now keep by my desk. Dream 1: I was playing Kerbal Space Program, and had a simple rocket. I was in some kind of tutorial, doing a moon landing. Everything was extremely fast, as if it were at 250x speed or so - even faster at times. I rapidly landed on the moon, then time reversed and I suddenly sped back to the planet. I then found myself in space again, and did another superfast moon landing, this time onto a large concrete structure. The "moon" seemed to be about 250 meters across, but the scale wasn't very consistent - the platform seemed to be much larger. Must be just a trick of perspectives in dreams. Anyways, I landed, and the tutorial guy (who was suddenly present and voiced) said "Almost done, but build me a rocket." I found a bunch of parts just lying around, and the tutorial guy says "put your finger on that part at the top" which was a floating Mk3 cockpit. At this point, the tutorial guy started laughing like crazy, as I start assembling the "rocket" or "shuttle" or what have you. The tutorial guy had his own character at this point - running around like a typical idiot in gMod (in fact, we both had physguns). I attach two parts, then attach some kind of "suicide part" which was apparently a self-destruct for whatever part it was attached to. Then, I opened a menu of some description (which was a light blue) and it said I had four "Battle Rifles." I go to select one, but the dream ended. Dream 2 (fragment): There was something about a murder - someone forcing people to take suicide pills. Similar to the pilot of that Sherlock Holmes TV show (the British one) which I watched earlier that day. Dream 3 - I was in a restraunt with a IRL friend of mine. It was night out, and the lights in the buildings across the street were out - making it appear that the windows were pitch black. Apparently, someone was killed in one of the buildings, and he was caught on a traffic camera. The murderer exits the building, wearing a blue jacket with a hood. My friend and I get up and chase him, but lose him in a crowd. At some point, we pass by what vaguely resembles my home from the side - despite never leaving the street and such. We were walking down a path by a calm lake, and it was a clear night sky with a large, full moon out - perfect for a romantic night, if A) My friend was female and B) We weren't chasing a murderer. We eventually came to a dock, with two "canoes" (which resembled a simple wooden boat with a few seats) and lots of people. Four of these people had the blue jacket the murderer was wearing, and three of them were Asian. I noticed this and pointed out that "statistically, the killer is one of them." Note - I have nothing against asians, nor any minority. I evaluate others on an individual basis, and hate everyone equally until proven otherwise. That is, I am neutral towards them. We get into a "canoe" with about ten other people, and take off - but almost immediately, something happens and I fall into the water, sinking just beneath the surface. I'm floating underwater, which appears perfectly clear as if it were just air, I can breathe normally, and above me is the boat and the surface. The dream ends at this point, but I remember there suddenly being 3 boats. Dream 4: There were rock people/golems present, apparently called Gorons, but they were definitely not Gorons, and just some kind of golem. We had built a golem/robot as some kind of gift or replacement for them. Both it and the "Gorons" appeared roughly humanoid, with distinct joints and made of a brown rock. The golem we built rolled/jumped/moved/? donw a path, jumping/passing over seven wooden gates, each decorated differently. Each time, it changed appearance slightly - some change in color. I remember either the fifth or sixth being green - likely sixth, if I recall correctly. When it reached the bottom, it was brown, and had a facial expression of >:| . We said something along the lines of "It's not perfect, but it'll do." Note - "We" being "my group" despite me not remembering a group - just that I was part of one. Anyways, there was a montage of the golem we created showing off - it could fly through the air with its' arms extended, and there were several bird-like creatures made of rock flying alongside it, which were hit by falling lava and killed/destroyed/?. The golem flew into some cave or pit and dived under lava, starting to travel in some lava-filled tunnel. At this point, I remember seeing some lava dripping down a stalactite at the left of the tunnel - which was still under lava. Dream 5: This might actually just be a scene change of some description from the previous dream - I do not recall any distinct "cut off" beyond a scene change. I was walking down a cave, with a reasonably wide stream beneath me. It was shallow enough that I could see the rocky bed beneath it, and light was shining down through cracks in the roof. At one point, the water rapidly drained - passing through the rocks. I started running, and exited the cave and found myself on a tiny beach. To my right, there was a small hill of wet sand up against a cliff, which merged with the cave entrance. I notice the waves getting larger, and hear someone shout "Flood warning!" I started to climb up the sand hill to escape the flood, but even though it was barely two meters tall (and even though I know I never would have climbed up such a thing in the first place to escape a flood), I could not get to the top, as I kept slipping down. It also behaved as though it were a solid object, despite being made of sand. I went back to sleep some time after I finished writing this - Likely around 4:30AM, as I finished at 4:10AM.

Total Sleep time: 8+hrs Dream recall method: Dr1- noted sentences; Dr2-Dr7 – none Other: I was feeling very sleepy and tired; there are some gaps in my memory, some fragments re-emerged later. After HI and falling asleep: I noticed something after briefly waking in the first hours of sleep; now all I am left with is the vague memory; was it dream talking again? Dream1: We are waiting for the tram, most of my DC friends are dressed officially, but I wear some casual clothes. I am slightly worried about that, but they say “I wish I had your attitude towards life”, “Yeah, but sometimes I feel afraid from all those things I know”, I reply. [I wish I knew what I know, but perhaps it’s better I don’t] Fragment2: I see the beach, initially I want to go for a swim, but the waves are quite big so I decide against it. My mom is also there. Fragment3: Looking for a place to hide from two DC women. This is some kind of back stage for something like a theatre, I hope they won’t be looking for me there. Fragment4: Some posts on DV. Fragment5: We ran out of toilet paper. I try WBTB. This time I tell myself, I would be less sleepy and more concentrated. I spend some time in bed awake, concentrating on my body and some sounds from the neighbors, then I quickly transition into the dream. Dream6[Low Quality Lucid]: I find myself in a familiar room, something like my boyfriend is also there. I know that I am dreaming and I do not bother to RC. I am absolutely passive, just being in the room, I feel as if I am drunk, so heavy. I am sitting on a chair doing absolutely nothing, noticing my behaviour and somewhat annoyed of this but also so tired. This DC is sitting next to me. I take some time to examine him, he looks a lot like my boyfriend, yet I know that’s not him. I find him rather unpleasant. Everything is so stable, and I feel as if I have been sitting there forever, exchanging some random thoughts with this fake bf. I tell him that this is a dream, and he repeats a few times “lucid dreaming”, that’s the only thing that amuses me. I don’t like being there at all… Dream7, DEILD: I awake for a short while, rather unconscious, open my eyes, rollover and then I enter the dream again. I am thinking “Oh, I DEILDed”, but I really did not mean to do that. I find it strange that I am still there. I feel so tired. I finally remember that what I want to do is change the scene, just imagine a scene, I remind myself. Nope, does not work. Then I see some kind of a poster with some beach and palms and try to concentrate on it… The dream does not fade...memory gap, I think I fall into unconsciousness again... Dream8: I am with my parents, in some a tourist village near the sea. I want to buy something, so we are looking for the right store. Then I check what money I have with me, I have stamps, which are some kind of certificate serving as money? By the time we get to the store, all the shops are closed. I don’t care that much, but my parents are disappointed that I couldn’t buy anything.

I am by the side of a highway with a group of people my family knows. Everyone here is getting ready to leave to somewhere else. I learn that I might ride with the H___ family but instead I ride with "S" in a blue 2002 Jeep Wrangler.("S" is a friend from High School who is charismatic, and usually the center of attention always making fun of anyone and anything.) "S" drives down a winding road through mountains. The road now traverses along a rocky coast similar to the coastal highway in Southern California. I look at some mansions on the cliffs. "S" looks at the mansions too even though he is driving. "S" drives fast around a curve and almost drives into the ocean. We drive by another curve and this time, "S" drives over the cliff and the Jeep plunges into the ocean. The Jeep slides very fast along the water until we reach San Diego Bay. At this point, the Jeep stops sliding and starts sinking into the water. I kick out the passenger window of the Jeep and try to swim to the surface but the water is impossible to swim through and I sink to the bottom and drown. "S" also drowns. After I have died, I wash up on a beach in the afterlife. I am also somewhat aware that I am dreaming but I forget I'm dreaming soon. Here in the Afterlife, there is a 3 story Victorian-style building up several steps from the beach. Me and "S" walk into the building. The building is dark inside. There are lots of symbols on the walls in various places. Everything has some sort of spiritual significance. I become seperated from "S" and I continue walking. I run into my father who tells me that my grandfather (his father) wants me to know not to get into an SUV with "S" (grandfather and "S" don't know each other in RL). I continue walking and run into my ex-girlfriend "A". I learn that "A" died around the same time I did. We both walk together through the building and walk into a room where we find "S" lying on the floor unconscious and bleeding. Me and "A" carry "S" out of the room and ask each other what we thought happened. We carry him down some stairs to the first level of the building. I see a placque on a wall that says "***** *** for OCD --> COD *** ***** **" (**** means I don't remember what word was). It also says that the location were in is Heaven for people with OCD (I have OCD). It also says that people who die and end up in this world who don't have OCD go to Hell. Around this point, I feel the dream starting to end and remember that I am dreaming. I mentally force the dream to be stronger so I don't wake up. Me and "A" leave the building and are now at a beach in San Diego, CA, still in the afterlife though. I mentally learn that I will soon be transferred to another world in the Afterlife. I get the feeling that the Afterlife is very chaotic. I see the beach a couple blocks away so me and "A" fly to the beach. I see some hot women on the beach and think about having sex with them, but since having sex usually ends the lucid dream, I decide not to. Me and "A" land on the beach. I leave "A" behind here and fly over the ocean by myself. While flying over the ocean, the lifeguards (ironic that lifeguards exist in the [I]after[I]life.) tell me to stop flying since there is rule at this beach against flying. A female lifeguard flies after me and catches me. We both land on the beach. This lifeguard is 5"4', skinny, has blonde hair, and is age 19.I am now in trouble and have to stay with the female lifeguard until further notice. At first, I don't like her, but as I stay with her, I find her more attractive and strike up conversation with her. I ask her how she died but she doesn't respond. We both keep walking and meet up with her parents. The 3 of them have to go somewhere so I say goodbye and hug the lifeguard. Her father tells me that if I pursue his daughter, I must love her always. He says their family has gone through a great tragedy. All 3 of them died together a little over a year ago. The 3 of them walk off and I think about whether I should dedicate myself to the lifeguard or find another girl with less baggage. I decide to meet the lifeguard tomorrow to continue our conversation. For the most part, the dream is over after this point. I get transported to a mall, then to my house where I watch TV. I am watching the news. I turn the TV off and at the exact moment the TV goes off, I wake up.
It's been a while since I could remember a dream, though luckily, I find myself taking in more than usual about the images I find during my slumber as of last night. Part I: Career Day I found myself at my High School. The hallways were all rather accurate to how they were realistically, if not slathered with posters, pictures and decorations of a lot of different things, most of them famous men, women and children who all specialized in specific positions. I walked with two of my friends--one an Asian kid named Eric, always had this huge mole under his chin, and my friend Gabriel, a boy with fair, wavy hair and a cherub-like face. We walked in this hallway, somewhat crowded but not too packed at the same time. I assumed it was some sort of career day of sorts, and so I looked for something that piqued my interest. Along the way, I saw a poster of lead guitarist and singer of the 90's band Nirvana, Kurt Cobain. The picture was of him, singing and playing guitar in black and white. I touched this poster, and then I looked to my left. Kurt Cobain was coming at me with a butcher's knife, something out of a campy horror movie. I didn't attempt to run, perhaps too perplexed by the fact that Kurt Cobain somehow rose from the dead. He pounced me onto the ground, grabbing the handle of his knife with both hands and raising it in the air. I kept shouting "No!" over and over again, but he then pushed his knife right into my chest. What's odd about this is that I did feel a bit of pain as the blade stuck into my chest. Things went black, but as suddenly as that happened, I was back in the hallway. I was now with my brother, looking much like himself, strangely. People were leaving and we were getting our backpacks from a pile in the middle of the hallway. I didn't understand why, but my brother had apparently put some very important items for a project in my backpack, though I was unable to find my backpack. They said it might be in another room, and if it wasn't, it was stolen. We checked that room -- no dice. I was lead to believe that my backpack was stolen. That was when I woke up briefly. Part II: The Chaser Not long after, I fell asleep again, the dream following connecting itself to the last dream I had. I was now hell-bent on finding my backpack, though I only acted on it when my mother was driving me home from school, parked at a gas station on an early summer morning. I then found myself becoming a badass biker dude going along a California coastline; palm trees and the blue skies and oceans passing by me like a big blur. There were a few cars and bikers that passed by me. Though I knew they were enemies, they didn't really do anything to actually threaten me, nor did I do them. I followed these "enemies" until I reached a beach, where we stopped. I told their boss, a man dressed in a cliche leather jacket with a short-cut Elvis hairdo something rather intimidating; intimidating enough to make him give me my backpack back. My brother was suddenly with us, and there he retrieved a medium sphere that looked like the shape of a planet. He smiled and looked at me, making some cheesy joke about how I was lucky to have gotten this thing back, or else. Then we laughed and the dream ended. Notes: That pain that I felt when Kurt Cobain stabbed me was rather significant. I've rarely gone that fast as I did on the motorcycle in a dream before. Interpretation: Gee, I really don't know what to think of a dream where I get killed by one of my favorite musicians and chase a man on a motorcycle to get my backpack back. Perhaps, leisure is killing me and I focus too hard on school.
I was overtired when I went to bed last night. As a result, my dream recall is garbage. I'll edit this post and add to it as I recall more throughout the day. I dreamed that my friend K__ was teaching me and M___ to ride motorcycles and explaining how the throttle worked so we could ride up and down hills. I dreamed that I set the stove on fire (I was in an apartment I don't recognize, but it was "mine") and threw buckets of water on it to put it out. Woke up and attempted a half-assed wild but my heart wasn't in it. Saw dreamlets of a fireplace (in my "base") and a flash of the reflections of palm trees and a beautiful sunset in the plate glass window of a house on the beach somewhere in California. My sinuses hurt badly again. I am learning to ignore the heater - it helps that the weather's getting warmer - but I need to take a sinus pill before I go to bed at night.
I dreamed several dreams, and woke between each. *side notes *gaining lucidity *lucid #1 - I was having difficulty doing something. That's all I remember. Dream fragment. Woke. Did Reality Check. Attempted WILD; failed, fell asleep. #2 - I am in a house. I'm looking for a bathroom. There's no bathroom, because I didn't have enough in-game gold to buy an expansion. I discover that some of the red and white scented candles I've been buying were made by my cousin. He's been lying about having a regular desk job. Woke, used bathroom. Reality Check. Attempted WILD; failed, fell asleep. #3 - A wife and husband are fighting over their finances. The husband is unemployed or doesn't make much money, and the wife is burnt out and tired of working overtime to completely support them. The wife decides to make adult videos, and her best friend offers to help her. Her husband finds out and is extremely upset. Woke. Rolled over and fell asleep. #4: I dream that I am riding a bus through a sweeping countryside. It appears that I am somewhere in New Zealand. The landscape is mountainous and verdant. It has just rained, the sky is full of gorgeous, radiant clouds, and it's is very beautiful (note: sweeping landscapes after a storm are actually one of my dreamsigns) It begins to storm violently, and I'm up in the mountains. I am both riding and driving the bus. It's storming like crazy, and the mountain road is winding and dangerous. I'm high up in the mountains now, going over a narrow bridge. The choppy water has risen to the very bottom of the bridge, and it churns dangerously. The bus hydroplanes, loses control, veers off the bridge. The bus is now an old cadillac. The bus now disappears from around me as I enter the water. Frigid water envelopes me as I sink, and places immense pressure on my body; I debate fighting it, or merely letting myself sink. I allow myself to be pulled under and away with the current. I wake up on a bus. I don't wake up on a bus; I am driving a car. I'm going to pick up a friend's dad. My friend is a chubby blond teenager wearing a Hulk Hogan shirt. We pick up his dad at a fast food restaurant that looks like McDonald's. He jokes about us being a software development team. He is actually a developer, himself. He looks really tired, and I ask him if he's been pulling long hours. He says, "Yes, and driving is a challenge. I'm practically cross-eyed." He decides to check his voicemail and starts swearing; apparently, his boss/team lead is asking for a whole bunch of ridiculous stuff that he can't possibly do on such a short deadline. I wake up on a bus. I have stretched out across the seats, and a little girl is commenting to her mother that I'm taking up too much space. I try to pull myself up into a fetal position to free up more seats. My friend and his dad are also on the bus. The landscape is the one as described before; the sweeping New Zealand landscape. I wake up and feel a bit irritated that my prior attempts at WILD have failed. I see light seeping in through my bedroom window and am a bit upset that it appears to be so close to morning. I'm also irritated that I didn't pick up on my most obvious dream sign. I fail to do a Reality Check. In retrospect, my bedroom window was INCORRECT. The curtain wasn't there. I shrug it off, telling myself that it's just another chance to try to WILD again. I settle down in bed (note: I am fairly certain this was a FA and I am actually trying to WILD from my FA, which is kind of hilarious because it actually works) #5 (?) - I begin to see something forming in front of me, very blurry - it is a field of large, smooth pebbles. I decide that it looks somewhat like a beach, or is close enough to make into one. I try to make it solidify, but it fights me. I try to imagine it as part of a landscape, but it remains a flat plane - almost like a pattern. It is supposed to be the ground, I understand, but it takes up my entire field of vision. I can feel it there - the dream is blurry, but it's forming. I don't want to lose it or lose consciousness, so I start actively trying to make it stabilize. I focus on the pebbles; they sharpen a bit, and then go all fuzzy again. I run my hands through the pebbles, then dive to the ground and shove my face into the pebbles. They're still fuzzy and immaterial, although I feel the ghosts of sensations from them. I enthusiastically rub my face back and forth in the pebbles. I feel like they're fading away and get upset, so in a moment of desperation, I lick the pebbles. They don't become any more material; they taste like grit and sawdust. I roll around on the ground like an idiot, grabbing handfuls of the ground and rubbing it into my face. I feel and smell dead leaves. Suddenly, there are dead leaves mixed into the pebbles. I look up. There's more landscape forming! I see fuzzy green. I feel like this is like the edge of a lake or swimming hole. I stumble to my feet and pick leaves out of my hair. The world suddenly solidifies, as my lucids often do - everything goes from a blurry mess to absolute perfect clarity. I am now on the edge of a small lake or swimming hole, on an artificial beach. I'm at a cook out! There are tons of people milling around. The dad from my prior dream is grilling food, and there are a bunch of fat guys in tank tops drinking beer out of a cooler. There is a little girl in a purple swim suit playing with the sand. She has a toy shovel and those little plastic sand castle molds, and she's making a castle. She has white-blonde hair that curls in little ringlets around her ears, and blue eyes. She looks like she's maybe 3 or 4, and she's adorable. There is also a black and white Border Collie lying on a red and white checkered blanket next to a guy in a t-shirt and his kids. The dog is panting, because it's hot outside. The swimming hole has a tall, metal slide where you can slide into the water. The sky above, unlike 99% of my lucids, is vivid blue and brilliantly clear - this is a hot summer day, probably July or even August. I clap my hands together and yell out loud "YES! Finally!" I immediately run up to the dog and pet her. Her fur is thick and somewhat coarse. I scratch between her ears. She's very friendly, and enjoys the attention. As I scratch her behind the ears, I recall my lucid task. "I need to destroy something right away!" I tell the dog. I had decided on Simple Task I, which was to destroy an object by any means. I look around. One of the first things I see is the little girl's sand castle mold, but even thought she's a dream character I feel kind of bad about that. I see a plastic drinking cup with Vash the Stampede on the side of it (I haven't watched anime since the 90s, I don't know where that came from) but decide it's too solid/not interesting. There's an array of picnic stuff - plates, cookware, food, etc. I settle on the one thing that I feel is out of place: an empty carton of half & half. I point at it and try to make it explode. Nothing happens. I get angry and pick it up and throw it, yelling, "This is MY dream!" It still does not explode. I chase after it, scoop it up, and tear it into several pieces. I begin to throw the pieces at the two fat guys who are sitting in plastic lawn chairs and drinking beer. They think this is hilarious. I hear the little girl calling to me from behind me. She is running toward me, waving a huge syringe. One of those big, scary-looking ones they use to inject things into your rump. It's almost as big as she is (and for some reason, empty). I laugh and launch myself into the air, hovering above her. She runs around below me, waving the syringe. I rise higher into the air, using swimming motions, and taunt her. She begins to climb the ladder to the slide, which has now somehow gotten higher and scarier-looking and is turning into a bridge. The dream fades, and I wake up. It is 3 a.m., which means that it couldn't have possibly been light outside last time I woke up.

Date:3-6-13 Total sleep: 8+ hours Daytime Techniques: rc's Lucid Techniques: tried MILD "I will recall my dreams and realize I am dreaming" Recall Techniques: see above. also I wrote in my dream journal after waking after the first dream ~DREAM 1 Fell Asleep: 11:30 Dream Title: The cold beach Dream: I am in my room and it is the way it was back when I had a desk. On my desk are some horror movies. One of them was called “slender” (how original) My dad calls me. I see he is watching one of the movies on his new tv. It is about a cursed sword that forces you to eat colors and cats in a dementor like fashion. Although this is ridiculous, I find it absolutely terrifying, and I get angry at him for showing it to me. I go back into my room, and my sister is with a laptop. She asks me how to make a youtube account, and I tell her that she needs to hook up to an Ethernet cable that nobody has used before. (I don’t even…) I now go to my brother’s room, that for some reason is on the wrong side of the house. He is there with some kid. I don’t know who it is, but the dream me can’t stand him. After some smart-assery from them both, I start to beat them with a random plastic coathanger. (I am not abusive IWL.) they cry and my mom tells me off for it and I have to go get ready because we are going to the beach. Car ride is long and full of mom fussing at me. We get to the beach and it is winter. We don’t want to go in the water, so we just sit there on the beach. Some other stuff happens that I cant remember, then I wake up. Awake: 5:00 Vividness: 8 (scale of 1-15, 10 is waking life vividness) Awareness: 1 (1-10; or lucid) Length: 3 hours Emotions: fear, anger Dream Signs: my desk was back. My brother’s room misplaced. Room had Ethernet jacks. ~DREAM 2 (went on dreamviews and read about WILDing. But then I didn’t try to wild. ~Facepalm~ So I had a non-lucid fragment…) Fell Asleep: 5:40 Dream Title: The attic Dream: I was at some family’s house in their attic that had many windows and was painted white. I don’t remember what we did there, but my brother did it wrong and I had to redo it. That’s all. Awake: 9:00 Vividness: IDK (scale of 1-15, 10 is waking life vividness) Awareness: 1 (1-10; or lucid) Length:~ Shrug~(how long it felt like! Because that matters) Emotions: frustration Dream Signs: none
Haven't been on here in a while because of lack of dream recall and things going on in the real world (had an operation couple of weeks ago so currently recovering/healing from that). Went to sleep about 1am, woke up with the central heating about 6:30am Dreamt I was on a boat with some family specifically my Mother, StepDad, Brother in law & Sister. We were out on the sea just off the coast of some holiday destination we were at. We were doing some kind of test sail before setting of on a bigger trip later. The sea started to get really rough & the water was black & dirty with waves just swelling up seriously high, as high as high rise flats. I turned and said to my brother in law I probably wouldn't take the trip later because of the sea conditions & I was worried it would capsize the boat & we'd all drown. When we got off the boat I was telling the same thing to a stranger as we were walking away off the beach & onto the street. I was telling him that I wouldn't go back on the boat because of dreams I'd had about water! We seemed to get split up on the streets in a sort of market area & I lost my family. I ended up tussling with some guys but not seriously sort of play fighting. I think I was asking them for directions back to our apartment because I'd got lost. One of them was leading me the wrong way & this is what caused the tussle! They were making me follow this florescent tube light that was sort of floating before me or suspended by a translucent string. Eventually I moved it aside and broke off from them after a little play fight & some laughter then I threatened to smash up some fruit on their market stall! Eventually I'm back in our apartment but my family have already gone on the boat trip I was so scared of going on. I feel devastated because I'm certain they'll perish, I'm crying out for my mother in despair, I'm looking around a mess of tobacco & bits of weed on the floor..I rush out to see if I can get to my family in time to stop them from going on the boat trip & save them but I forget my keys so have to go back for them..suddenly I wake up & realise I've been dreaming.
I was at a beach, in the water. The sky turned gray and the waves got violent. I tried to leave but the waves kept pulling me in. I finally managed to escape and went back to a hotel room/rental apartment I was staying at with my family. I took a look around, walking outside too. There were two buildings, separated by a metal staircase that let you see into the windows of the houses. I saw a blonde lady in the top floor window. I walked back down and into our room. My phone rang, but I didn't remember giving my number to this person, so I didn't answer.*
Uh … OOPS it’s been months since I last wrote an entry in this thing. That would explain why lately I’ve been having so much trouble remembering my dreams. I really need to get back into the habit of doing this so that I can have cool dreams again. Yeah. Well, I recently had a pretty cool/weird dream. It went something like this: It starts off as kind of a third-person thing, where I’m not really a part of the action, I’m just observing the story. There are a bunch of lions and zebras living together in a giant palace. There’s one lion who’s the king of them all. And he decides that he and the other lions and the zebras are going to destroy humanity. He sends one of the zebras to warn the humans of their oncoming doom. So, the zebra walks up to a house. It’s night-time. The back door opens and Will Smith walks out. The zebra is like, “We’re going to destroy humanity, bwahaha.” And if I recall correctly, he has some gruesome thing with him like a head on a stick or something which I guess is part of the warning sign or whatever. Will Smith is like, “Oh no!” And that’s the only part he plays in the dream and I’m not sure why he was there at all. Oh well. This is where I finally become a part of the dream, although I’m a random character and not really myself. I’m riding on a white horse to the palace along with some other people––I don’t know who they are. I think I’m leading everyone there. I have a sword and I start swinging it around and thinking about how I’m going to cut off the king lion’s head. We’re galloping over this beautiful landscape with rolling green hills and everything. I think we go over a bridge at some point. Then in the distance, I finally see the palace. It’s huge and gleaming and white, and there’s a rainbow coming out of the top of it and stretching up into the sky. I’m like, “Whoaaa … that’s pretty.” At this point I have a somewhat lucid moment, in which I’m suddenly aware that I’m in the dream and that I’m simultaneously asleep in my bed. I know I’m about to wake up, but I try not to because I really want to get to the palace and kill the lion. Alas, I wake up before we get there. Oh well. As for dreams I had last night (or maybe it was this morning): I vaguely remember a dream in which I was at a beach, and I acquired a pair of fancy sunglasses. Somehow, I know that I stole these sunglasses, although I don’t remember exactly how that happened. I feel guilty about stealing them, but I keep trying to justify it to myself, like, “Oh, everyone steals sometimes!” Anyway, I can’t remember much about what the sunglasses look like besides that they have a brown tint to them, and I also realize that I can see through the lenses (and I’m super near-sighted, so this is weird). So, they basically function like regular glasses except they’re tinted. But for some reason I think this is like, the best thing since sliced bread. Not sure if it was part of the same dream, but I recall a brief fragment of a dream in which I am standing in front of a mirror and I take out my nose piercing. My nose instantly begins gushing blood everywhere and I panic … but I think I manage to get it back in again. … So yeah. Now I should start remembering to write these lovely gems down. I want to keep having cool/lucid dreams.
First Dream I was bored, talking to someone in a old telephone, and teleported to where he was.It was a beach place, there was people I know from different schools, and a teacher I have a bit of a crush on,he hugged everybody as we were coming closer to him.Later I was in this room in a colorful square pattern(ground, walls and ceiling)mainly of blue, red and yellow. There was some videogames there, but it was suffocating, and I decided to leave. The hallway was the same pattern, and suddenly I was in a pine forest place, with long bodies of water with a bridge to connect the land.I tried to go back but fell into the water.A guy helped me,I asked where I was,I was worried on how I would go back home.He said it was a viking country in Central America, and dunno why,I got relieved. Second Dream I was on a family meeting, the house was a fancy beach house with bright colors on the wall such as red and purple, dark wood furniture and moroccan design.I was in a room talking to my mother and the same teacher from the first dream(it happened the night before this one) came into the room and started to talk about something Those dreams were not lucid, but very vivid. They happened a few night ago.
