False Awakening
Following my previous blog entry, I formulated a guess about how my lucid dreams have been induced all this time, strangely enough. This morning I had another lucid dream with a unique twist. It was a another DILD following a WBTB wherein I recognized I was dreaming but as usual, didn’t hold the dream for more than 10-20 seconds. I woke up shortly afterwards with my eyelids still lit up with vivid hypnagogic imagery such as a playing cards twisting and spinning and even the word “RSAtouble” was seen. I believe I was reading the word as “Roundtable” - just poorly misspelled. I wasted no time in trying to gain entry into the dream world again and tried to do the FILD method while waiting for the opportune time to move my limbs again, do a reality check, and explore the dream world. I was certain I was dreaming but I was still in my place of rest so I got up, did a nose-pinch reality check but could not breathe so I lied back down and tried once again to get back into the dream scene using the FILD technique. The thing is, in retrospect, that reality check should have failed because that entire FILD sequence was a dream, I now realize. But because I thought I was fully I awake, I expected the reality check to succeed and thus it did. Expectations are huge in the dream world. I am not talking about these forced expectations that are induced via mantras. I am talking about expectations as natural as you expecting a light to come on when you flip a switch or when you turn a doorknob. They are not consciously thought about, you just passive anticipate the usual result after countless repetition. A routine essentially. Anyway, back on track. It wasn’t till after I had woken up one last time to get ready for work that I realized what had happened, I had some inception-style lucid dream. I noticed a pattern in when my lucid dreams have occurred: 1. I sleep for 4-6 hours then wake up for 45-60 minutes. 2. I go back to sleep with awareness of the time and the intention to awaken at a later time. Why? Because it would be absolutely dreadful to be late for work trying to lucid dream. 3. I expect to have a lucid dream but I don’t try to force anything. My priority is to get as much sleep as possible within the 2 hour time frame I’m allowed. If the second item is the reason for my lucid dreams, then I may be on the cusp of mastering the induction of lucid dreams. After that, it is only a matter of training stability and control.
after my first proper WBTB since months! i used SSILD for induction, also didnt used it like for months, i felt pretty confident to have a nice and long quality lucid i am in a city and walk down the street. i tell someone? on the phone? about my diploma thesis. "the gathered results there where up to date at that time..." i have an awesome mood and keep on moving. an elevator left to me opens and i make a small jump to scare them a little and smile to them just because i feel so good. just like that i get lucid and keep on moving some meters. i remember the basic task. i look around and everywhere are some people so i move back a little and found a girl with his boyfriend moving up some stairs. i decide to pull down her skirt and repeat it with her underpants. her boyfriend looks awkward down to the ground, she tells me "oh [my name]" like i would have told a bad joke and stands around. two guys that where next to us smile and look down on her bottom. since i knee anyways because i pulled her pants down i give it a short lick but i dont want to waste time with sexystuff because i have a lot more goals to check so i stand up and tell her to put up her pants again. before anyone react i already move away and see another girl with a dog? i approach her and knee before her for what reason i cant remember [i think i worried a little that the dream gets unstable so i grounded myself with a detail?]. i notice that i am still a little caveman and so i stand up and move on. i remember both advanced tasks and i decide to do the pokeball one. in waking i have incubated a little how i wanne approach this task and so i move straight to a guy and ask him/tell him i want to catch him into a pokeball but he dont have to worry i will let him out shortly after. [with this i wanted to make it feel easier because there will be no battle or resistance] he looks not that enthusiastic but since this is my dream he has no chance anyway. to summon the pokeball i look to him and say "ah and the pokeball is right behind me right" and i point without looking at a place behind me "but more on the right side?" he starts nodding. now i look to the point where i point at and see the pokeball. i smile because it works like a charm and pick up the ball. next to me is a girl or something? it feels like a witch [i hear harry potter audiobook at the moment] and i feel like she will prevent me from catching this guy. i push the button on the ball and throw it at the dude, the ball opens but it only bounce of him and nothing happens. damn it... i pick it up with TK and throw it at one of two ghost next to me [damn you harry potter xD] but the ball flows thru him. i pick it up with TK again and this time a guy approaches the scene and is next to the guy who i tried first. i throw the ball at him and he gets soaked in to the ball. i smile again and pick up the ball. i hold it in my hand and start moving around again. after some time i remember that part of the task is to let the guy out again and so i throw the ball. it opens the guy gets out and in same second the dream is fading. i think i dont wake up but have a change in scenery where i lose lucidty. i walk with a friend of mine in a mix of office and climbinghall. i see at the of the wall a climbing wall where a dude is belay a girl at the wall. i have the strong feeling of already knowing him and i already told him once that he is doing something wrong. my friend is laughing about him. he hears us and approaches us. i welcome him friendly and tell him that the thing he did was not smart. while telling this i suddenly have multiple ropes in my hand and i wrap them around my hands and start to swing a little. someone is pulling me backwards strongly and letting go so i swing to the ceiling on both sides. i do a backflip in the air and get lucid by that again. "this is a dream again or still!" i move around and i see a office with some tables and people in suits. moving around i want instantly to phase thru a glassdoor but it wont work because in the last moment i feel insecure... i take a bowl per TK into my hand with some teabags. i move on and see a secretary i remember the bonus task and start moving and shaking my feet like it would be a earthquake. i say "wow do you feel this i think this is an earthquake" she looks up and agrees that this must be an earthquake but she seems not to bother. on the side of my visual field i see a window and outside some signs falling apart. i stop moving around like pretend because now i dont need to pretend anymore. i move to the window and for a short second hope that it wont get out of control and start to strong or end bad. i sit infront of the window and look around. shining Advertisement signs fall down and make some sparkles. i look at the street and see how it starts to crack up and to make a big hole. i feel satisfied to accomplish the bonus task so easy. the earthquake ends and i stand up and move over to the kitchencorner to make me some tea "hm i never drank any tea in a lucid" i think and expect a mug being in a wall cupboard. i open it up and find a mug with some water in it. i put it out pur our the water and start to boil me some water. since it need some time (doh..) i look around and think about meditate a little but the ground is wet so i imagine to know that next to me are some pillows and fair enough i look to my left and see two pillows. i them both up with TK and want to sit down as my roommate approaches me. i connect a bad feeling with him and think about to approach him and to resolve my waking life problem with him but the dream fades again and the scenery changes. i loose lucidty and hear him telling me/a friend? that he just cant do it anymore. the music is too loud there are to many birds and he just cant sleep anymore. i sit somewhere outside and somehow feel like this is a dream and try TK on an item but it wont work because i feel insecure about my state. i move to a sign where some letters are pinned with magnets and i try to change them in something like Good bye but the letters are wrong and it wont work. i wake up for real

Airport I remember it was night and me, my friend Lajja and some other guy were hanging out. I had flown to Wellington in order to hang out with her, we were all going to fly back to Auckland tomorrow. I woke up in the morning and there was some issue with the flight, like Lajja had forgotten to book her tickets or we missed the plane. We have to go and get new tickets, I'm not really stressed about any of this though. We're in the waiting room which is split in two by a set of folding shutter doors. I sit in the second room while everyone else sits in the first room. I think I did it because it was quieter? The air hostess comes to tell the next few people to proceed, this happens a couple times but not once does she alert the 2nd room. I'm aware she's not doing this, the first time it happens I opened up the shutter doors a bit so she wouldn't ignore it. The 2nd time she still ignores it, so I pull the doors open all the way... The 3rd time she does it again, fucks sake. I just get up and head out instead of waiting, telling myself to just go ahead since Lajja and the other guy went with the hostess the 3rd time. I see them down on the floor below, connected to my floor by a set of escalators. Lajja and the guy are holding hands for some reason, I find this weird since they're not dating and Lajja has a boyfriend already. I head down to meet them and ask if they got the tickets, the guy says "Oh yeh, but uhh whoops I forgot yours, sorry mate". I instantly pick up that he did it on purpose, he's trying to sit alone with Lajja on the plane. I have to go buy my own ticket now. Plane I'm on board of a plane, it's a sort of continuation from the last dream (though I definitely recall waking up between them). The plane is quite small with 1 or 2 seats on either side of the walkway. My dad is on the plane next to me or in front of me, we're talking and I briefly look away from him mid-conversation. When I look back at him it's my mum instead. What the...? I'm a bit confused, wasn't I just talking to my dad? Or maybe it was my mum.. Everything feels real, I decide that 'maybe' it's a dream (although I don't even feel like it is). I do a reality check and it succeeds much to my surprise. I stand up and try to stabilise, recalling some advice about making the most of lucids by maximising lucidity and awareness. My mind is a bit chaotic though... I try to force the lucidity to the max and it sort of works but the dream isn't very stable. I can tell because it was bright at first and the world was gradually getting darker and darker. I'm in my flat room now, kind of feels like everything is spinning. I try to escape the room, thinking that maybe moving and engaging the dream will help extend it. I fly out through the window but end up awake. Crap. I do a reality check and succeed, I guess I just had a false awakening. I'm in my bed, I clamber out of it and I'm wearing heaps of clothes which are a bit restricting, it's quite dark and getting darker... I wake up for real.
I was having trouble sleeping, and the last time I checked the clock it was past 8 am I and woke up around 9 am, so it wasn't a long sleep. I was having a normal dream and I realized I was dreaming, I was excited but somehow I was floating over my bed unable to change my position. I almost always have full control over my body when I LD, but this time I had only control over my mind. I ignored that and tried to conjure something behind the door while floating over my bed and failed. Then suddenly I was in my bed thinking I'm awake but I wasn't. I had very painful sensations. I felt like a couple of balls are moving inside my skull, they were moving and crawling under my skin, and I was shaking badly. I also felt hot air coming out of my ears. I can't remember every sensation now, but I was in so much pain and trying to fight it. I tried to move my body and it made things worse. It all felt so real but I think at some point I realized that it wasn't because I tried to snap out of it and I woke up. It didn't feel like sleep paralysis because that's not how it felt in previous experiences but probably the same person experiences it in many different ways. I failed to sleep after, and I am still awake with only 3 or 4 scattered hours of sleep in the last 34 hours . I opened a discussion about it here including a previous recurrent experience.
Dream I was in my school. It looked like it was just built and finished, I felt much younger. I went downstairs from one of the classrooms and into the hallway, passing a group of students. It was late and lessons were about to end. Suddenly I asked myself "Is that a dream?" after a while I repeared this question, feeling somehow aware yet a little doubting. I met a girl I met years ago during student exchange, we talked for a while going upstairs. Her voice was different and she was speaking in my native language. I asked "Shouldn't you speak english?" She said "I'm not sure." We moved on and ended up near a classroom. She stripped herself from clothes and we made it in the hallway. Everything went black. False awakening I woke up in my bed with an orgasm and I had to change my underwear. I left the bed, took spare pants and went towards bathroom. Parents were out for the night and grandma usually has a deep sleep, so I shouldn't wake anyone. On the hallway when I got just past doors to grandma's room, she opened the door and hit me in my back. I rushed towards the toilet and cleaned myself, then changed underwear. Then I went back through hallway and in the window I saw parents in the car. Father parked right in front of the entrance, he was holding a baby.
Bedtime: 10:00pm WBTB: 4:00 am Wakeup: 7:00am Dream 1 I'm at my parent's house in my room (thought it looks different than IRL) and there is a bag with some stuff in it, looks like meat patties and potatoes, but when I open it up, there's a bunch of dead bats in it as well. These bats are huge, not just regular small bats. They spill out all over the floor, it's totally repulsive. I think there were some crazy weird beetles, too. I pick up the bats with something other than my hands, I can't remember what I was using, but I didn't want to touch them. I remember their wings were so strange. They were very large and the bones in the wings were as long as drumsticks. When I put them into a new garbage bag, the wings would poke out of the sides. It was a really disturbing image. Now that I'm awake, I feel bad for these little guys, but in the dream I was scared out of my mind. Dream 2 I spent the night in a backyard (not sure who's house it was), in this weird metal spacecraft looking thing. The whole night I was drifting in and out of sleep, and in between sleeps I was listening to the Beatles on an iPod, but they were old songs I've never heard before. Finally, around 5am, I woke up and ran into the house. I think I can remember my mom saying I needed to drive to her house, so I did. WBTB: I didn't attempt to WILD, but I did do a bit of positive thinking and mental prep for a MILD. It worked!! Dream 3 I am in a restaurant, and there's all these really hot guys there. We're all eating together, and then the next thing I know we're all lying down on the table, and it feels like an orgy is happening but everyone has their clothes on. I'm not really participating, but someone is holding my hand. The next thing I remember, I'm standing up and I hold my hands out with my palms facing down and push, which causes me to levitate. I'm not lucid, but I think I must have been sort of semi lucid, because I remember thinking "is this going to work?" and it worked very well. Everyone was staring at me floating there in the middle of the room. Then there is a break in the dream where I can't remember what happened, but the next thing I know, everyone including me are wearing tuxedos and we're running through the mall (this restaurant was in the mall). I'm with this one guy and we're trying to find a place to "be alone" , while everyone else is running for different reasons I think. We find a gymnasium full of guys playing basketball, and I tell the one I'm with that I'm going to use a Jedi mind trick to make them all leave. In my head I'm not sure if it will really work, but we get in there and I snap my fingers. The guys all start to leave but they're giving me dirty looks. I turn to the guy I'm with and all of a sudden he looks completely different. He's like this small mousey kid and he also looks mad at me and runs away. I run back out into the mall and meet up with another one of the guys from the restaurant. I tell him I can levitate, and I try it again but it doesn't work. He says, "Try looking up at the sky when you do it," I try this and it works for a few seconds. Then we reach these glass doors guarded by two guys (who are also in tuxedos), and they say we have to wait 20 minutes before we can go through. I tell one of the guards he needs a haircut. Somehow they get distracted and we run through the doors. The guards start chasing us. I'm with a larger group of people now, and we're running toward these huge marble columns. I know my best option is to slide down them. I reach the columns and look down. It's a 3 story drop, and I say to myself "I can't do this, I can't do this..." I remember thinking I could try to manifest a feather bed at the bottom, but I know I could still get hurt. Then out of nowhere, I become lucid. Like completely full on lucid. I say "I'm dreaming! This is a dream!" I grab onto the marble column and prepare to slide down. I notice how real everything feels. It really was just like waking life. I realize I haven't done a reality check, and sliding down a marble column could be a really dangerous way to figure out if I'm dreaming, but I really felt that it was a dream and I didn't have time to check so I began my descent. There were little decorative holes in the column that I used to quickly scale down, and everyone followed me. Once we reached the bottom I almost punched one of the guards in the face, but since I was dreaming I decided what's the point. I was so excited to be lucid, but everything started to fade to black. I reached out my hands to touch something but it was too late. I was in this black void. I tried to open my eyes but they were like glued shut. So I kept them shut and tried to stay very still. I felt still very connected to the dream world. But nothing was manifesting so I opened them, and I was in my room. I should have done a RC, because this turned out to be a FA, but I wasn't lucid anymore and was just so excited, I remember jumping up and down on my bed and clapping my hands. Then I woke up IRL and tagged it all in my DJ. Dream 4 I was going to the mall with my sister. We pulled up to the front in the car, and there was a car in front of the door, but no one was in it. A little dog was sticking his head out of the driver side window, so I got out and pet his head while I waited. Then the driver, an angry transgendered woman, came out and glared at me. I told her I was sorry for touching her dog and she was really pissed. She dropped her scarf and I picked it up for her, and she was like "yeah..." like it was my fault she dropped it or something. Then she left and I dropped my sister off, then I parked the car. While inside, I saw my high school biology teacher, and we talked for a bit. Then my sister and I went to Sears and had all these coupons. There was a man who was following us and he kept taking our cart every time we'd step away to grab something. I needed new work shoes but couldn't find the ones I was looking for.

I wake up in my bed early in the morning.....or rather, I think I wake up in my bed. I decide to do a reality check on my RC tattoo on my arm before going back to sleep (it did not occur to me that it was dark and I wouldn't be able to see it). When I look at my arm, my tattoo is glowing and does not say "Dream" like it's supposed to. I am shocked to realize this is a false awakening and I am now fully lucid! Excited to be in my real bedroom, I carefully climb out of bed trying not to wake myself up. I decide to exit out my bedroom window to go explore. Outside, the scene is clear and gorgeous! The sky is lit up with swirling stars and colors, and I see fish swimming in the air. I feel awestruck by how beautiful it is. I remember that I set a goal last night to stop and sit down in my next lucid dream (I usually can't seem to stop myself from moving forward constantly when lucid). I find a log to sit down on, feeling confident in my ability to relax and fully enjoy the beauty around me. One of the fish approaches me and I hold out my hand to greet it. It lands in the palm of my hand. It is large, black and brown, and has large, expressive lips. I say hello and it says hello back. I am thrilled by the idea of taking to a flying fish, but I suddenly wake up before the conversation can go further.
I had this series of dreams after waking up early and going back to sleep, which is typical for my previous lucid dreams. I was familiar with some of the features of these dreams: a realistic environment not usually drawn from real life, realistic dream characters who are part of the scenery instead of the plot (and sometimes ignore me), and dream chaining. I can't quite remember the beginning. Before I went to sleep, I recall deliberately daydreaming to occupy my mind, so it might have developed out of that. At some point I found that I could have WILDs really easily. All I needed to do was let my mind wander, I'd soon see some realistic imagery (or once, a geometric pattern), and at some point, rather than getting caught up in the dream's plot, I'd just go 'yep, this is a dream'. I was able to improve the quality by shouting 'increase lucidity' and so on. The dream chain included: - One where I found myself in a large building with a vague 'institutional' feel, having corridors and a reception desk. Most of the dream characters seemed to ignore me, even after I did the "You're all in my dream, what do you think of that!?" thing, which I sort of felt like I wasn't supposed to do. I found an old lady who did respond to me and asked her something, but I don't remember what she said. - A non-lucid false awakening in which a kid climbed through my window, much to my anger, causing me to go and get a sort of spatula in case I needed to repel the intruder. - One where I found myself in a garden or courtyard surrounded by three-storey Edwardian architecture. There was a small, cubical brick building similar to a power substation. I decided to test my dream control abilities. Simply by telling the dream that my hands were sticky like a gecko's, I climbed up the brick wall and stood at the top. I then marvelled at the feat and pondered what to attempt next; I didn't want to try anything that might disrupt the dream. I considered trying to turn into an animal but rejected it, for example. - Misc.: I also recall some SP-like sensations of shouting but having no voice coming out, being unable to feel myself breathing, or having a dry throat but being unable to clear it. I recall trying to shoot 'energy balls' out of my hands by sheer willpower and failing. I recall looking at my bedroom despite knowing my eyes were closed and sagely recognising it as a false awakening. I recall the realistic sensation of having an orgasm after doing nothing more than passingly thinking about it. I recall the sensation of partially separating from my body by sitting up in bed but failing to fully do so. I don't know if the chain started with a real lucid dream, and I definitely caught onto one or two bits of false awakening imagery while still asleep, but as soon as I woke up in real life I realised that my supposed 'really easy WILDs' were actually all from a false awakening. I'd been dreaming about lucid dreaming the whole time.
Bedtime: 10:30pm WBTB: 3:00am Wakeup: 8:00am Went to bed and didn't dream much until maybe 2:00am (I remember looking at the clock before this dream). Dream 1 This was a FA. I "woke up" in my bed, and there was a thunder storm going on. The storm sounded really close because the thunder had that crackling sound. I got up and walked into the hallway of the apartment, and I could hear someone tap-dancing downstairs. I remember thinking "who would be tap-dancing at 2 in the morning?" If only I had done a RC!! I walked halfway through the hall and closed a door that doesn't exist IRL, and continued down the rest of the hallway. I used the bathroom, then went into the sunroom when I was finished. When I got into the sunroom, I realized that the lighting had changed, it wasn't dark anymore. The storm was still going on, but it looked like it could be afternoon. Also, the room was on the 1st floor, with very tall windows, and when I looked at where my piano should be, there was a different piano. I thought to myself "omg, am I in someone else's apartment by mistake? how did that happen?" then I woke up. I think I was on the verge of becoming lucid, because I was really questioning things, but not enough to do a RC my WBTB alarm went off, and I attempted yet again to do a WILD, but still no luck. I even tried some visualizations, and also put headphones in and used some binaural beats.. Didn't do any good, I was just lying awake in bed. So eventually I decided to just go to sleep, because I knew I would be having my longer REM periods anyways, so I could just hope for the best and maybe I could get away with a DILD. Dream 2 This is mostly just a fragment. It was along dream, but I don't remember much of the details. From what I remember, I was in a large building, I think it was a college of some kind. I think I was in classes, but in between I would go into this big open room, and in the middle of the room was a pit, and a piano was suspended above the pit. I would come into this room and play in between classes, but the piano was hard to reach and every time I would start playing I felt like I was going to fall into the pit. Not a very convenient set up. Toward the end of the dream, my grandma and mom were waiting for someone in the hallway, and I went out there to talk to them. They were talking about the time when either Paul Simon or Paul McCartney recorded an album in Prague (obviously just a dream memory, not a real one). They were looking at a map, and Prague was like, in Northern China. "Wow!" they were saying, "that really in the middle of nowhere!" I started to say goodbye to my grandma, and I asked her when I could come visit her. She said something about how my aunt was allowing us to have a horse race, so I should just come then. It didn't make sense to me but I just nodded and left.
Programmed myself to wake after every dream, which I did but I find it very much like coming up for air then plunging back under the murky waters, quite disorientating. So lots of chaining. Also I tried FILD a lot. D1 - Escaping from my father I travel across europe. I am being traced by a chip sticking out of my iphone. D2 - Staying in Ireland, in a farm house. Waking up early in a bedroom, with double windoes overlooking the farm courtyard. I am a child but do not want to go visiting the farmyard animals with the other children. D3 - I am a child again and I am unable to stop the bathroom tap running (a phobia of mine when I was younger). I am yelling for my My mum to sort it out. oooo I don't really remember having dreams where i'm a child before Oo, must be deeper. I had about four false awakenings LOL
I was a police officer, making some paperwork in my office. I was writing a report on some kind of organized crime in my city, checking evidences. My last work partner was killed by them, a bomb planted in his house killed him. When I was leaving with another officer, I saw someone suspicious. As we got closer, he threw a bomb at me and used a remote pilot. I quickly escaped to the office full of other officers and heard a strong explosion. Everybody looked at the door with silence. After a while they opened, and someone appeared, throwing two bombs inside. They were really small and white, but did tremendous destruction. I ran to another, smaller office, but he went there after me. I ran to door, hitting him with my elbow and escaping to staircase. On each floor there was a bomber and I had to dodge all their bombs. Finally I got down to entrance, but somehow I knew that a sniper is just waiting for this. I went to backside instead, to another office and a black haired woman opened me a window. I escaped. It was late, dark night. The moon was shining with strong, red light. As I was wandering through a forest road, I looked at it. The moon looked like it was burning, flames enveloping it forming an eye, with moon being the iris. I heard strange buzzing and looked up, a UFO was flying away. Finally I got to my house, preparing some clothes to take a shower. I knew that they'd come for me. I woke up in my bed later, it was still dark. Someone rang to the door, I went to kitchen and took the longest and sharpest knife, and then slowly sneaked to the door. Then I saw door to grandma's room open, my younger sister with a knife went out.
I used to have very frightening hypnagogic images on a regular basis (along with hypnopompic hallucinations), but ever since minimizing my internet use last October, I've only had a few occurrences and it's not something I've really had to struggle with anymore. And now that I've overcome that, I've realized, like my sleep paralysis, my HIs could actually be a blessing in disguise: a key to both falling asleep easily (when normally it takes me hours to fall asleep) and lucid dreaming. On Tuesday night after seeing a beautiful HI of a humongous whale inside an aquarium [not that I condone whales in aquariums], I slipped into a false awakening WILD. I was in bed and could see my cat and husband in bed with me, but the room was lighter. I realized it was a false awakening when I noticed I could see despite my eyes being closed, and then woke up. If I work on this, I could turn seeing HIs and having lucid dreams as soon as I go to bed into a regular activity for me. At the very least, it could help me fall asleep more easily, even if they don't always lead to instant lucid dreams. Now that I no longer have to be afraid of my HIs, I can take full advantage of them.

So my girlfriend stood up for work and was in and out of my room several times. i fall asleep every now and then. after she was gone i felt pretty awake but still felt that i might fall asleep. i turn on my side and start to focus on gravity. after some time i notice some hypergonia and focus on my sight. i see a structure similar to a rock slowly forming and morphing. next thing i now i am in my kitchen with my roommate and someone else. i want to put something down but notice that the kitchenfurnishings are disorientated. i do a fast nosepinch and am lucid. i show everyone but especially my roommate both of my midddlefingers (seems like i am angry on him a bit... ) after some seconds my awareness raises some more and i see that this is no approach to have a nice lucid. i want to get the gravity RC to work so i thought about to attempt to notice and talk about gravity in dreams. so i drop the sentence: "Hey lets talk about the gravity RC what do you think? how will it work?". The dream is very very liquid this time. the room has changed and now different people are there. two female friends of mine are sitting at a table, the room is bigger and not my kitchen anymore. my roommate is not there but in the next moment another guy will show up. so after asking the question one of my friends answers "hm i dont know maybe it has something to do with the m-orbit?" i get that she is revering to the orbital names of atom orbitals... its not where i want to go and change the question to "how can i notice gracity best" or something like this. randomly i feel like open the window in the room. she starts to juggle some balls and i ask her to throw me some over so i can juggle (and therefore get a feeling of the gravity) she throws me some over but different then IWL i have some trouble with 3 already because it feels different and a little weird. now the guy appears and starts take the balls away from me and to juggle by himself. there are about 6 balls around so enough for two of us. i pick up some try another attempt but again he gets close to me blocking me and then picking up my balls. i ask him "dude wtf? you just need 3 balls take the other ones" but he seems to want to be a pain in the ass so i decide to lift him up. he is a little stiff like a puppet but still complaining and talking shit. i carry him over to the window and throw him out. he makes a little "aaah" but nothing spectacular. i go back and see still both of my friends sitting there. i bend down to pick up some balls and is i get up again the girl i was talking to disappeared. fine... i go over to her and while try to juggle i attempt some sexy time with her... she is not that motivated but texting with her phone. i put the balls down and get more active. but before a lot happen the dream fades. i stay cool and find myself in the void, still having the tactile feeling of my pants that i wanted to take down. i move it a little around and get a feeling like someone is pressing or hugging me. it feels interesting. i am not sure if i awoken i linse one eye open and see my bedroom. but wait i still must be dreaming. i do a nosepinch and still lucid. on my right side is a flatiron that morphes right infront of my eyes into an older model. i stand up and want to perform the bonus TOTM again. since this is my apartment i know there will be a washing machine in the kitchen. i approach the kitchen (even tho the apartment looks completely different) and already hear it. i open the door and enter the kitchen. i see no washing machine but a dryer. i look closely thru the whole kitchen if i not might still find a washing machine but no. this time i am determined to not close my eyes when approaching my goal. i do a little jump into the open dryer but get stuck like expected. i dont care and keep pushing forward like stuck in the mud and want to get out of it. i push and push and slowly get deeper. i want to get into a different world. in front of my the wall of the dryer starts morphing into different pictures and symbols. it starts with a beating hearth and turns into a brain or something? it changes colors a bit and morphs around. i feel stuck and dont know exactly how to proceed. i try to close my eyes but am at a point where the situation and the visuals are that abstract that it makes no difference if i close or open my eyes. i see the same things. i see dropping water out of a wall. the inside is turning 360° in all directions. after some time between those two moving solid spheres i am stuck inside i see some daylight and i await the sphreres to move in that way that they open a little so i get outside. now outside i find myself at a whole different place. in a round valley some meters away i see a two round stoneshapes moving against each other in 360° similar to the thing i get out of. the landscape has darker round and long stones and just a little vegetation. i fly some meters and thinking hm damn last time atleast i could teleport with my approach but this time?!... i wake up and thinking with a waking mind... i did teleport somewhere else i just didnt expect that outcome... the lucid was pretty short but nevertheless an interesting one
... here goes nothing... DREAM ONE : the vampire that said "shootaloo" AGE 5 The dream opens with a cut-scene where me and my friends are at the store getting ready for Halloween. I went down anr isle, and saw a candy bar stand designed to look like a vampire. I leave the isle and look back at it. I stared at the isle for a few seconds before the vampire candy bar stand came to life and said "shootaloo," staring directly at the opposite side of the isle. I screamed as loud as i could and ran out of the store. Another cut-scene starts where the vampire chases me. We both run really slow. Eventually, I arrive at a desert-type place where my mom is performing a speech. I run up to her. "Mom, there is a vampire chasing me!!!" i say. she doesn't seem to care and continues the speech. The vampire then walks up to my mom and asks if he could borrow me for a second. She says yes and all of a sudden i'm at a place with a giant donut-shaped hole in the ground. He tells me some stuff i can't remember and then i wake up. DREAM TWO(fragment) : a dead sea monkey in a car AGE 8 (i think) The dream starts in a cloudy, black-and-white town with a car at the outside of the town. I enter the car and see a dead human-sized sea monkey sitting in the driver's seat. shortly after i wake up to see that my cat knocked over my sea monkeys' container. DREAM THREE : "oh look, i found a pineapple!" AGE 7-8 I was in the kitchen just messing around until i decided to look through the front screen-door. I see... something... made out of coconuts that says "oh look i found a pineapple!" and throws it at me through the screen door. I wake up in the dream 4 times with the same outcome: the coconut thing saying "oh look, i found a pineapple" and throwing it in my face. eventually he isn't there and then i go to my grandma's (now my aunt's) room. There is a baby in the middle of the room that i draw my attention away from, just to see the coconut thing. It says "oh look, i found a pineapple!" and throws it at me.
Ok, so last night I had 3 non lucid dreams. Although non lucid, they were all pretty vivid. I think they might have been connected together. I'll give an explanation of what happened in all 3 dreams but since they were all so vivd I'll just give a short summary instead of explaining with a lot of detail. Dream 1: I was at school walking with my friend. Everything was normal except for the fact that he was wearing pearls around his neck. I asked if I could have one and he said yes and broke one off for me. I took the pearl, put it in my pocket, and then told him it was for my collection of gems (I don't actually have a collection of gems). and then I woke up at around 1:00 in the morning. I wrote down the dream in my dream journal then fell back asleep. Dream 2: This one was a false awakening. I woke up on the couch in the family room of my house (note: theres a tv in the family room) It was night time and the lights were off. The only light in the room was from the tv which was playing some show on disney channel. The show was about some family, but one of the kids in the family splayed out a bunch of different colored diamonds onto a table. There were a few green diamonds, a few red diamonds, and a few purple diamonds, and all pretty small. After watching a bit of this show on disney channel, I then actually woke up in my bed at around 4:00 in the morning. I actually got up, went to the bathroom to pee, and did a reality check and I found out I was actually awake this time. So I wrote the dream down in my dream journal, and went back to bed. Dream 3: I was some where in my neighborhood with my friends (the one with the pearl necklace from the first dream was there, but wasn't wearing the pearl necklace). We were just talking at first until we saw a swarm of bees and we all ran back to my house. I was the slowest one out of all of us because it felt like something was weighing me down. Here's the interesting part though. While running, I went into my pocket and pulled out all the different colored diamonds I saw on tv in the second dream, and the pearl my friend gave to me in my first dream. We got into my house and I went to my room, and remember how in the first dream I said the pearl was for my "collection of gems"? Well I had a bunch of different gems splayed out all over my floor, organized by color and I put the pearl with all the white colored gems, and I put the diamonds I saw on tv in their respective group of gems (i put the purple diamonds with all the purple gems, the green diamonds with the green gems, and the red diamonds with the red gems.)
