      More Fire song (L-DEILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I had a FA in my room. I found funny that my L-DEILD technique failed, as it was fail-proof... I decided to write down my dreams, so I went to the kitchen table and opened the microwave for light... but it never opened.

I looked around and my vision was very blurry, found it out but I thought I might be tired. My wife woke up and said what I was doing up in the middle of the night.
I told her the Microwave was not working, that I might been dreaming. She told me to stop talking junk and to go back to bed, that the microwave always worked bad (it does on my dreams, lol) I told her that I did not feel awake. I jumped a couple times but did not levitate. My wife got mad at me and started to talk out loud. I showed her my hand and told me, "So, having four tiny fingers is normal for you?" She said, "Yes" and kept complaining I just crushed the door and left flying while my wife was arguing.

It was day now and I decided to fly at high speed. I was about to look for Dreamer when I reached a big home where I met with my brother. I told my brother to compose a song about fire for me, to make my song longer.

My brother said he needed inspiration. I invited him to do pyrokinesis. His hands started to release smoke, but never fire. However, he said:

      - Oh fiiiiiiiiiiireeeeeeeeee,
      you destroy treeeeeeeeeeeeees,
      make them fall
      crash some trains
      carrying teeeeeeeeees!

My brother said he needed a fire costume. He said he needed to go home to look for one. I touched him hoping his outfit would change, without success. He insisted in leaving. I told him that he was not my real brother as we were not sharing a dream. If he left, he would vanish. He left so I decided to fly away and look for Dreamer when I woke up.

      Composing a song I (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was driving my car and going to the mall with my wife. It was night, very late, but for some reason the mall was open and full of cars. The cars were driving recklessly and it was hard to park, there were little to no parking spots left.

I parked in a place but I was not well parked, so I decided to park in other spot. I parked in reverse gear so it would be faster to get out when I was back. However, I noticed that after parking, I was parked in drive... I told my wife and she said it was OK. I told her no way, I was parked in reverse. I pointed at the gears and said, "See... it is on reverse!" When I noticed it was on Drive...

I told her I was dreaming, that this was making no sense at all. My wife started complained and got mad at me. She started arguing that I was wasting valuable time. I started to fly and left my "wife" speaking and shouting in the middle of the now empty parking lot.

I took a flight but realized my dream was stable and clear enough. While I was flying I started to recall that I needed to do something that was requested over Dreamviews... I took me a while to remember, until I remembered Rman told me to compose something in a dream. I found it funny because I am not into music at all, and neither into poetry.

      I chanted the following:

      - Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiireeeeeeee eeeeeee, oh fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiireeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
      - oh fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiireeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, of fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiireeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
      - great fire, that burns it all
      - like the phoenix..... I rose....... from fiiiiiireeeeeeee"

I decided it was good signing and enough. I decided to look for Amity. I got to a big lot with signs. It was day now and I could see on a sign, "This is Amity: We are astrally connected, we always have been. I influence and change my dream world, so you do on mine"

I flew for a while more until my dream started to vanish, so I decided to L-DEILD

    3. Fire at pavlatova house

by , 05-01-2011 at 11:00 PM (Tomas's DJ - "Exploration of the inner Self")
*Somewhere around the area where Eva Pavlatova lives I go for a walk at night. I see some smoke and when I look closely I see little flame. So I call Fire Brigade immediately. But to something until they are there I pick garden water pipe and start squirting water on the fire. In a moment there are two or three fire brigades and firemen start running out of the cars. I tell them that the flames are up on the roof. There is always some kind of problem with water pressure or location of the fire.

    4. The 4th dimension, Slight disorientation, Trance

      by

      , 04-30-2011 at 02:57 AM (Hyu's Adventures)
I took a one week break from working on projects, and it did a lot of good to my dream recall.
Unfortunately I'm back to working now, which means no more WBTB/WILDs.
My dream recall has already suffered notably from this.
It's quite unfortunate, I felt like I was finally getting the hang of WILDing.

      The 4th Dimension

I'm at uni, walking through the corridors towards my classroom.
For some reason I end up in what seems to be some sort of physics laboratory.
I question whether this is where I belong.
I remember that I am actually majoring in CS and not physics, and that this is definitely not a room I've been in before.
But as the teacher enters the room I decide to ignore this for some reason, and just go with it.

I don't know what the course is about, but I recognize elements from quantum physics.
Then the teacher talks about the fourth dimension (spacial dimension, not time).
I know a few things about that, so I'm not too surprised when she shows us a hologram of a tesseract.
But then she says she will materialize it. How on earth is she gonna do that?

The teacher approaches me and hands me.... well... a tesseract... with transparent walls.
I assume that it is some sort of model with joints that allows it to be moved similar to a rotation in the 4th dimension.
But then I remember that this cannot work, it is physically impossible.
As I touch the object, I realize that it is indeed solid. There are no joints, and all surfaces on it are perfectly solid.
But I can rotate it the same way I would be able to rotate a 4 dimensional object... at least in theory:

This fucks with my mind quite a bit.

But then I understand that I am indeed dreaming, and don't understand why I didn't notice this any sooner.
For some reason I still feel the need to figure out how this works though.
How can I even interact with this? The dimensions do not match.
But then I realize that I am somehow trapped in 4 dimensional space.
Every object in the class room is 4 dimensional.
My chair can no longer hold my body and I somehow fall through it.
As I look up and see everything appear normal yet consisting of impossible shapes, my head starts to hurt and I wake up.

      Slight disorientation

I'm home, hanging upside down from the lusters.
A friend of mine enters the house.

"What the fuck are you doing up there?"

I look down... why the fuck am I hanging from the lusters?
Or maybe I am not really hanging from the ceiling?

"You mean down here. Why are you standing upside down over there?"
"What? I am standing on the floor!"
"Yes, and I'm hanging from the ceiling. What's your point?"
      "Dude..."
"The ceiling is down, and the floor is up!"
      "No, it isn't."
      "Yes it is!"
      "Why?"
      "Because I say so."

Gravity inverts and he falls down onto the ceiling.

      "What the fuck?"
      "Told you so."
      "I guess you were right."

      Trance

I am sitting with a girl my age in front of a campfire.
We have setup a tent over here, and it seems we are in the middle of the desert.
But I can't tell for sure, it's pretty dark already.

I realize the girl isn't human.
Her hair is mixed with leaves... they are growing out of her head, just like normal hair.
When I look into her eyes I can also clearly feel that she is not human.
However she does look human, except for her hair.
But I don't mind, I feel like this is the way it is supposed to be.
I remember we both came here in order to get into some sort of trance with the goal to be enlightened.

      Wait a second... what the....?

      Oh! I'm dreaming!
She looks at me, as if she just realized something.
But she doesn't say anything, and hands me what appears to be a native american peace pipe.
      She smiles:

      "You need to smoke it."

For some reason I feel like something special will happen if I smoke it.
After all the goal was to get into trance right?
I take a deep breath of smoke, and I instantly feel it in my head.
I get extremely lightheaded, and have trouble not falling over, even though I'm sitting.

      "Good!"

      She smokes the pipe herself.
Holy shit, what is going on, I feel like I'm falling through the chair, into the sand below it.
I loose control over my body, and start to hallucinate quite vividly.
At first it's similar to HI during SP, but then it gets much stronger.
I see bright and vivid colors everywhere, intermixing with the landscape.
I see plants growing out of the sand at an insanely fast rate.
They start to blossom and fill the air with glowing pollen.
The girl starts growing feathers over her body and flies away.
    5. Musclebound Crack Head Set your House on Fire

      by , 04-27-2011 at 04:43 PM
I'm living in a guest bedroom at Mrs. E's house. She has taken up with a new boyfriend. This is a hyper, anxious black guy with a mullet and all he wears is black spandex biking shorts. I'm lying on a bed still made quietly when he comes in the room to clean, he's talking to him self and running all over the place with a feather duster, less as if he's dusting and more as if he's searching for something. Later that day I tell R that I think his mom's new BF is probably a drug addict and I think he was looking for his meth in my room. (dream me is a little racist this morning.)

R laughs and says "that's crazy". We are hanging out in the kitchen. 70's style with round table in the middle of the room with a plastic floral print green tablecloth.

Suddenly there's a fire. People aren't noticing it a first because it's happening between the walls and I can only see it as if behind a sheet of white paper. I can however smell the smoke and hear the crackling embers. "guys look, THE HOUSE IS BURNING DOWN!"

Now everybody is standing on the front lawn and we are watching the house burn down. The crazy BF is nowhere to be seen anymore. Mrs E says "but, he was here just a second ago." I can feel the cool grass beneath my feet and between my toes. It is a very bright green.

Then a fireman comes out of the house holding a glass stem burnt black. "It looks like this started the fire" Mrs E wants to know what it is; the fireman replies "it looks like a crack pipe, not that I've ever smoked crack." we all look at him funny.

    6. The quest for the lost Katana - Awakening the dragon within in the most exciting fight

      by
      Hyu
      , 04-26-2011 at 12:45 AM (Hyu's Adventures)
This dream was bloody amazing o_o
      It was so exciting!
I wrote it down immediately after waking up to make sure I don't forget anything.

I set myself an alarm for ~5 hours of sleep to WILD.
I had a hard time transitioning... I was about to give up but then somehow I ended up in a dream anyways.

I'm on Teraluna, in front of Yuya's house.
Before entering I decide to attempt to induce a "deep dreaming state" similar to here.
I grab a fruit from a bowl on Yuya's table and sit down in a meditative pose, trying to focus on each of my senses individually.
But just before I feel that I'm done, I am interrupted by something very weird.
I hear a deep growl, like in a thunderstorm, and I see the sky above me deforming.
It feels like someone is trying to break through the sky, but that doesn't make any sense.

Actually, it does, the protective energy shield surrounding Haven?
The ground starts to shake, it is so strong I nearly fall over.
The growling is now excessively loud. I am confused. Something is wrong.
A big creature smashes into the ground right besides me and debris is shot into the air.
At first glance, he looks human, but he's excessively muscular and at least 3 meters tall.
He looks at me with a dark smile. I don't like this at all, I feel like he's here specifically for me.

Yuya storms out of her house.

      "NO!"

The man grabs my arm and I am dragged into a wormhole.
I fall out in a completely different place.
I get up, ready to defend myself.
This place looks dark, I don't feel very well at all.
It's a place of ruins, I feel that many battles have taken place here, and many souls have died."

"Why did you bring me here?"
      "To die..."
"... why do you want me to die?"
      "You're supposed to be dead."
      "What?"
"Pff... you don't get it, and you won't, and I don't give a fuck that you're alive again or why you are."
"Then why do you want to kill me?"
"This discussion is pointless, I just want to kill you."
"Why the fuck would you want to do that?"
      "Pointless... absolutely pointless..."

      He seems disappointed.
He approaches me slowly, making a fist with his right hand.
This feels so real... I have had dreams that felt perfectly real before, but for some reason, this is even more intense.
It's not that my senses are superior to previous dreams but... I'm afraid.
I feel real danger emerging from this man, like he could really hurt me.
I don't understand why that is, and it confuses me.

My phoenix wings are not reacting, I cannot get out, I must fight... or... I could try to wake up?
No! I won't. I must fight. I do not know why, but I am absolutely certain that it is the right decision.

He charges me, and I blink a few meters back, trying to increase my focus on this battle.
But he blinked right with me.... FUCK!
I try to defend myself from the imminent hit with my arms, drawing up a protective energy shield around me, but I am still hit hard.
I feel the pressure of his hit all over my body, the energy shield makes a cracking sound and disappears, I'm not sure if I would have made it without it.
He's strong... too strong maybe. I can't feel his energy, probing his aura reveals nothing.

He charges again... I launch a sphere of energy at him, but he just blinks through it.
I concentrate as hard as I can... time slows down allowing me to evade a few hits and place myself in an advantageous position.
With all the energy I can muster into a fist, I hit him in his shoulder.
I can feel my energy resonating in his shoulder and causing some damage and he blinks away.

      He laughs histerically.

"AHAHAHAHA, this is going to be SO MUCH FUN!"
"FIGHT you little dragon, FIGHT WITH ALL YOU GOT!"

I feel threatened, but at the same time he makes me furious, trying to kill me without even explaining what the fuck is going on.
He summons a very long katana, probably 2 meters long.
I power up as hard as I can, the dragonic energy causes strong vibrations within my body, and I feel very hot.

"AHAHA, you're gonna fight me with your fists? WITH YOUR BARE HANDS?"
      "You amuse me dragon."

Fuck... the katana... if only I had my...
He blinks in front of me, trying to slice me with his katana.
I blink away, but he keeps blinking after me.
With every blink we make, he manages to barely slice into my skin.
It hurts every time he cuts me. He doesn't deal any real damage, but I can't keep going like that, this needs to stop.
I'm fighting a loosing battle, I need to do something now!
If only I had my katana... if only I knew more about these dragonic powers...

Thinking about the dragon within me, I feel anger... rage... fury!
      Fuck dodging these hits!
I carefully time my next blink and manage to deflect his katana with my left arm.
I hit him right in his stomach with my right arm, releasing much more energy than last time.
But he manages to blink back before I have released all of the energy.

As he blinks back, my body reacts on it's own fueled by anger.
I use both of my hands to launch a fireball at him, it should hit him just after he exits his blink.
But my body keeps going instinctively, I form a ball of energy in each hand and launch one angled to the left and the other to the right.
He appears out of his last blink with the fireball right in front of him.
He instinctively dodges it by blinking sideways, causing him to blink right into one of the energy balls.
It explodes and he is launched against part of the ruins.

All of this happened within less than a second, the battle is so fast, and he is so powerful.
But finally I can catch a short break.
I feel vibrations in my arms from launching spells so quickly in a row.
It feels like the bloody in my veins is on fire, but it doesn't really hurt.

I feel powerful, and so angry. But... it's a bit different from anger I experience in waking life.
It doesn't feel like I am controlled by my anger at all, it feels more like the the dragonic energy causes me to feel angry,
but without loosing control, and without properly despising anyone, more like a "state of mind to battle".
The power of my dragonic energy feels a bit like a combustion engine.
The harder I rev it, the stonger the vibrations, the anger and my power becomes.
But I have no idea how hard I can rev this energy through my body, the vibrations feel like they could be dangerous to myself if I overdo it.

If have many small cuts and bruises on my body, but nothing serious, but I can still feel the pain.
It doesn't numb down the way it usually does, but I somewhat enjoy it...
I enjoy the fear, the pain, the anger, the power, not knowing what will happen next, it is SO EXCITING!
The man emerges from some debris, he doesn't seem hurt very much, just a few small burns on his chest.

      He smiles

"This may become an interesting fight after all."

He's extremely arrogant, acting as if I pose no challenge against him.
He summons two large snakes and sends them to attack me from left and right.
I can somehow remember moves, as if I suddenly had conscious access to my muscle memory.
I let the anger fuel me and concentrate energy into my right arm.
The dragon tattoo on my back has grown tribal extensions over my right arm which are now detaching from my arm, forming a glowing red whip.
The end is still attached to the tattoo.
I grab onto the whip and use it to kill both snakes with ease. It immediately turns back into the tribal tattoo.

I charge at him, but he summons a lot more snakes, too many to handle with the whip.
I concentrate my energy into both of my fists and hit the ground below me with both of them, releasing all the energy in the process.
The energy creates a burning shockwave which obliterates all the snakes attacking me.
I blink in front of him. Because he's so big I end up mid-air, and try to punch him in the face.
He blocks with an arm, and hits me in the face.
I can't block it, and I can't draw a barrier in time, but oddly enough his punch doesn't hurt that much.
I land on my feet without falling over.

Blood is leaking from my nose.
I lick it, looking at him, and I smile.

"You're right, this may indeed become an interesting fight after all"

That was a very arrogant move, but all this battle emotions make me so excited.
I feel that I'm strong, and I deserve to act like that, in fact I believe this is the proper etiquette when battling other beings of such strength.

I finally manage to probe his aura. He's way stronger than me.
Then again, my aura is a lot stronger than last time I battled.
I don't know what the difference in power between us is, but I feel like he's stronger, but I'm slightly faster.

      He laughs hysterically.

      "That's the spirit."
"NOW BRING IT ON AND DIE!"

I power up even further. The energy revs through my body faster, I feel that I'm approaching the limit of my body.
My eyes start to burn up. I feel pressure and heat on them.
The sky turns into a dark red color, and the clouds turn into storms of fire.
I understand why this is happening:

Those who use the eyes of the dragon shall see the red sky burning, and so shall those who glance into these eyes.

We charge at eachother. He jumps up high, trying to slice me with his katana from above.
I can feel so much energy emitting from his blade. I can never let it touch my body.

I instinctively jump up as well, trying to meet him mid air, to clash our swords.
But... I don't have my katana? Why did I jump?
But then I realize why. My katana... I have been searching for it... but it has been with me all along.
It is a sword made specifically for me, to be used by my powers: those of a dragon.
This is why it was forged using a bit of the essence of my own dragonic energy.
This sword has a spirit... and as such I can hide it by depositing it within the fabric of space, which only very few beings can access.
And this is where it is... where I left it years ago as a child... everywhere yet nowhere.

We're both approaching each other in the air, closing in for the kill.
I call out into the fabric of space for my katana, and it materializes in my hands.
It is so full of energy, I must have left it like that.
We both swing our swords, time has slowed down to the extreme.
The blades clash, and release tremendous amounts of energy.
A small bit of his sword shatters, and fractures form all over the blade.
I notice a lapse in his focus and take the opportunity to blink and ram my katana into his heart.

Due to the speed of these actions, we land about 10 meters from eachother.
He's holding his damaged sword, and my hatana is lodged in his chest.

Yuya appears from a portal, ready to help me fight, but she quickly realizes just how strong my aura is right now.
She looks at me somewhat surprised. She was obviously worried sick.
The man jumps at me again, trying to finish me with his sword now that I have no blade to defend myself.
Yuya wants to act but I interrupt her with my thoughts.

"Don't be afraid... I got this..."

      She stops...
I look at the man, who is halfway through his jump.
My katana is still full of energy, and lodged in his chest.
I give him a dark smile, to make him understand that he will now die.
I snap my fingers, and all the energy in my katana is released at once.
The man, whoever he was, is burned to dust by the energy, and his broken sword falls to the the ground and is shattered into pieces.
I catch my katana. It is very beautiful, but I'll have time to admire it later. I cast it back into the fabric of space.

I approach Yuya, slowly powering down. The sky turns back to its normal color, and the vibrations slow down.

      "Are you alright???"
      "Yes. Just a few bruises."

Considering my blood covered face and all the cuts, this may have been somewhat of an understatement.
      She seems speechless.
She understands exactly how strong this man just now was.

"Sorry for making you worry, I was trapped in this place."
"It's.... it's all right... you're safe... but... how did you remember... these powers... and your sword?"
"I suppose all it took was to fight for real once."
"At least I think this was for real... was it?"

She goes back to her mysterious self, knowing that I am safe.

"Maybe... only you know the true limits of your abilities."

      I feel absolutely amazing.
The feeling of overcoming such danger, of winning a fight against such a deadly opponent, the power I experienced just now.
But as the vibrations leave my body, my vision blacks out.

      I wake up.
I feel extremely refreshed, full of energy, I feel like going for a run around the block right now.
But it's still a bit early for that...
I get up and start writing down this dream.
Screw taking notes and getting back to sleep, I don't want to forget a single detail...
    7. The Brave Child and a Couple of Frags

      Dream - Lucid

Didn't get much sleep last night, but it was totally worth it because...I GOT TO SEE LADY GAGA!!!

      Anyway, on to the dreams.

I remember something about running an obviously red light, and then seeing a cop car with his lights flashing behind me. I started to pull over, but he passed me.

      ~

I was watching something play out before me; I was an observer. The plot was Donnie Darko-esque. I was in a house, and a young boy of about 9 or 10 was re-doing a part of his life, a part that was supposed to kill him, but he got to go back and re-do it so he didn't die.

His little sister was laying in a bed, and him and his parents were at the foot of the bed. They had a small fence-type thing that the boy had set on fire, and they were throwing things at the girl in the bed. They were laughing as they did it, making fun of her for something. The boy left, but first, put out the fire.

The fire was what was supposed to kill him. I heard the boy narrating what was supposed to happen: The fire was supposed to get out of hand, and there was supposed to be an explosion that he was caught in. He was supposed to be sent to the hospital, because his injuries caused him to "lose control of his bowels". Then, he was later supposed to die.

The boy watched these things play out, and regretted going back; he knew he had to die to keep the order of things. He willingly went back in time again so the events would play out like they should.

      ~

I remember waking up next to my friend, Caitlin. She had reset my alarm clock to go off at 9 instead of 8. I knew I was going to miss class and not be able to finish up my homework, but I was so tired, I didn't care.

    8. The Black Bull

by , 04-13-2011 at 04:45 AM (Cryptic dreams that don't make sense.)
I'll probably post this in Dream Interpretation later because I always feel my dreams are symbolic, but am not clever enough to make sense of them.

When I became aware of myself, it was night, and the moon was full but golden in color. I was in the middle of an abandoned, dirty city. All the windows and all the glass was broken and scattered across the streets, and the street lamps flickered on and off occasionally. Blue wisps of fire darted around me and through the empty streets and buildings, and they made a soft ringing, like a small bell. I remember walking along, unsure what to make of the strange landscape, and checking for any sort of person or thing that I could recognize.

Suddenly, there is a loud crash behind me, the ground shakes, and I lose my balance. I turn to look and I see a large, black bull with pitch black, cracked horns and a lizard's scaly hide instead of fur. He had burning coals for eyes which were buried deep in his face, and they burned away some of the flesh around his eye sockets. His breath was heavy, and he exhaled smoke and embers. Then he reared up on his back legs and charged at me. I scrambled to get out of the way, but he was too fast--he was so fast that as he passed, all the debris in the city would fly up into the air. The bull impaled me on one of his horns, and lifted me above his head before he shook me off and tossed me aside. The bull then let out a bellowing howl and almost all the buildings save for the tallest one were torn apart and thrown into the air, then engulfed in bright, white hot flame.

I laid there, staring at the burning city, bleeding out and unable to move. I turned my gaze up to the tallest building, which had not been destroyed and saw a figure standing atop of it, looking at the golden moon. This figure has been present in all my dreams since before I can remember. She is a woman with black hair down to her ankles, bright red eyes, porcelain skin, and usually dressed in an elegant red and white ballgown. When I caught sight of the woman, she filled my vision, and was the only thing I could see. She then turned to me suddenly, her red eyes catching my own, and the golden moon turned red. Then, I woke up.

    9. My first nightmare I can remember (repetitive).

      by , 04-10-2011 at 08:21 PM
(I promise you not all of my entries will be about nightmares, haha, just gotta get this one out of the way first.)

I was 8 and living in Wyoming at the time when I first had this nightmare, and it's the first nightmare I can remember (and like I said in my other posts I mostly have anxiety dreams, only have had 2 nightmares I can remember). I've had this come up when I was 8 twice (about 6 months after it first happened, right before I turned 9), again when I was 12 right after we moved to Nevada, and when I was 15 I had a dream that spotlighted a scene from this particular nightmare.

It's mostly in first person, which I rarely dream in. I'm my 8-year-old self, walking around my house in Wyoming like it's a regular old boring day. It's really sunny outside, so all the nights are turned off and all the fans are turned on. My sister's nowhere to be found, I assume she's at a friend's house or something. My parents are out in the backyard, so I find myself wandering the rooms looking around aimlessly. I go back in my room and find my doll, who turns out to be Cynthia, the same doll Angelica has in the Rugrats cartoon. I held her up, exaimined her, and then looked at my bed. Normally I had a few of my stuffed animals surrounding the pillows, but all of my stuffed animals had turned into dolls or stuffed humans. The moment I see these on my bed, the sky outside turns orange and thick, like there's a fire nearby. I glance at the window then glance at the door and run for the backyard. The sky is so thick it's almost red as I run out through the garage and patio onto the grass. There I'm horrified to see both of my parents are engulfed in flames. But what makes this less horrifying is that they are giant stuffed bears, almost like they're wearing mascot costumes. I know they are my parents, but I'm suddenly understanding that all humans are now stuffed bears and all stuffed animals are dolls or stuffed humans. My parents are running around in circles, screaming and on fire, making little footprint-shapes of fire on the grass which is starting more of the fire. I'm hearing dramatic music in the background that's telling me it's gonna get worse. I can't get my legs to move so I can get to them to help them. I'm screaming for them and going "No!" and all that dramaticness an 8-year-old can possess as she's seeing her parents go up in flames. As I'm screaming, I wake up, realizing my face is wet from crying and I'm mouthing the words "No, no no no..."

The waking up bit has happened each time I've had it until the dream I had at 15. The only thing I remember from it was that my parents were in it asking me "remember what happened 7 years ago?" and I have a little thought bubble pop over my head with the scene of my parents as giant stuffed bears screaming and running around on fire.

    10. Class Warfare: A Violent Future

      by , 03-22-2011 at 05:15 AM
The start of this dream is very hazy, although the recollected portion contains an element that was connected to the forgotten beginning. The visuals were all very realistic. This dream is similar to Monstrous Distant Future.

Myself, and a group of people were being stalked by well armed men. We made our way through what looked like a heavily fortified underground base. The halls were illuminated future blue and made of smooth cement with digital entry pads. We made our way through a huge metal door and it shut behind us. Now we were inside some kind of military garage.

It was almost pitch black, so I took out my flashlight. (This is my newest flashlight in real life.) I was looking around at different items, I could distantly hear the well armed men outside still. My battery died on my flashlight. (In real life, the batteries are getting low and need to be replaced soon.) I looked in my pockets for another flashlight and could only produce two highlighter pens. (Both in real life are low on ink also!) Someone else turned on there flashlight, and I saw a few armored vehicles around that looked as if they were being repaired from small arms fire.

One area contained a crashed vehicle that had been chasing us earlier in the dream. I remember thinking we should scavenge it for whatever we could, but the crash seemed very eerie. I lost my nerve to take the dead people out of it.

I made my way over to another heavy metal door with a glowing keypad. I exited the base into what appeared to be a residential neighborhood of three or four story buildings. These were condo like. Brown painted wood, with huge living room windows on the 2nd floor. Some of the group followed me out into this courtyard. Matte87 (from Dream Views) was one of them (he looked like he does in his profile picture). He seemed disgusted at how comfortable these people were, while our group was living like rats. (This was connected to something he mentioned in a recent Dream post.) He grabbed some rocks, and started launching them at this huge window - while just then a yuppie looking woman was walking up her stairs. I grabbed a coffee mug from off the ground and was about to launch next, but felt nervous to be caught.

Some of our group had made their way up to a clubhouse in this complex with a bar. I heard one of the girls, who I hadn't seen yet, saying something outraged and insolent. Then she let out this terrible and guttural roaring belching sound followed by two loud clicks. Fire filled the entire bar area and bottles were exploding. I heard our group cheering. I wanted to see. So I climbed a set of stairs.

When I arrived she had moved to the 3rd floor, and again I heard the same monstrous belching roar and two clicks. Followed by a flamethrower or furnace noise. I ran up two flights this time, and found a pleasant looking blond with a long pony tail standing in a small lounge area. She was surrounded by people who were expectantly waiting for her to destroy it. I said something close to, "Oh, let me see what you can do." She instantly became coy and said "I would but I don't want you to get a bad first impression of me." -I was suspecting something sinister now.

I said, "Okay, I will just turn around and you can do it behind my back." She agreed, and for the third time, and the loudest, I heard this growling chattering burping roar followed by two sharp clicks, like giant teeth. Then came the furious furnace-like fire sound. I remember thinking:

"This room is so small, she will burn everyone up."
      -Then I woke up.

    11. Homeless Camping - Playing it Cool with the Ladies

      by , 03-22-2011 at 04:04 AM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
I was somehow homeless behind my father's old house. I am sad it isn't in the family anymore, but my dad has passed in waking life and we had to sell the house. So, I'm building a fire to stay warm. Last night I really did build a fire in our back yard.

I noticed the fire was almost out. I was about to blow on it when the new owners of the house started looking out of the house and then walking towards me.

I ducked down so they couldn't see me, but they kept coming. I started to growl like a dog or some kind of monster to get them to turn away, but it wasn't working.

Then all of a sudden I was in the house looking out the window the way they must have been looking at me. I saw the fire and realized why I got their attention.

      --

There were two ladies. They were both really cute. One of them said to some guy, "You're not getting under this bra."

I realized I should just play it cool. I acted like I wasn't attracted to either of them and tried to look them in their eyes. Tried.

      --

I was in some kind of race inside of a gymnasium. It was like a marathon, but we had to run the distance in a small gym. People were cutting the corners because the room was small and it would be ridiculous to run in an actual square.

I wanted to run the full distance (and not cheat), so I tried to take the corners by running on the wall. Others took advantage by running past me on the inside. I thought that was kind of unfair.

It was very cramped. The room was only as big as a large garage. I ended up leaving the race, though I intended to rejoin it.

Outside I saw a big boned black lady name Yolanda. I don't know how I got to this point, but I grabbed her by the waste and pulled her into me twice. Then I decided to pull her in and thrust my pelvis into her rear. She was really soft.

She didn't seem to mind, but then she started acting as though I shouldn't have. I worked hard to get her attention and finally did. I mouthed the words, "Don't get me in trouble." She says, "OK."

    12. Riverside, robbing, jury

      by , 03-03-2011 at 10:08 PM
3/2-3. 1. Town and Country? Heather Xxxx?

      610. Sara Xxxx sends me a text of a friend and her. One person has pants over their arms and the other on their legs, but the people are connected. Looks really funny. Then at some homes in Riverside. Poor looking kind of, just unkempt. Large field next to them. Small fires along the fence line and the people are very scared. Then I’m at Riverside station 1, except it’s in a different area of down, by the Victorian homes? Xxxx there. The whole city is laid out differently. We then go on a tour of the station. Mxxxxx and Jxxxxx there. Then we’re getting off an engine like we were driving around. Saw a few buildings. As we’re getting off, we’re told that there’s a training burn that’s going to happen. Get off and we’re watching another academy throw ladders, inside. I look to the side, the parking lot(?), and something is missing (not sure what, but that’s how I felt). One guy almost drops a 35’er. Outside now and Mxxxxx and I leave to go check out the training burn, but I have to go to the bathroom first. Go into what I thought was the bathroom, but looks like a restaurant. People look at me weird. Building for training burn is on fire. People are panicking. Everyone running toward it. Some guy is up on a ramp and falls off. I go to his aid and check his pulse, don’t think I feel anything. Another guy tries to log roll him, but I didn’t have C-spine yet and told the guy to stop. Guy rolls anyway. Guy that fell says he’s fine and gets up. Then march to Fraizer Park (diff location). On the way, Mrs. Xxxxxx is stabbed with a flag that someone threw. She’s find and no bleeding and is miffed. I call 911. I ask to tell the operator the location and he says he doesn’t need it. It’s dusk and the building implodes. Not in park. Dark and fireworks are going off. Look of city looks like NYC with lights and stuff. Erik Xxxxxxxxxx there and taking photos. I take a few also. Then it’s day and I watch Theresa’s video

Looking out bedroom window. See something going on, robbing? Breaking into my house? Run to the bathroom and call 911. Tell them someone’s breaking into my house. Cops show up super fast. Robbers apprehended, but they say they’re not. Cops interview them. Then they take me across the street and interview me. More details but can’t remember

Outside of a building. Something about being on a jury. A class? Dan Xxxxx is next to me. A lot more but can’t remember
    13. Savied A Life

by , 02-27-2011 at 05:21 PM (My Sleepy Mind 2010/2011)
      Original Date: 2/27/2011
      Type: Ordinary - Non Lucid
      Dream:
This started with me sitting in bed at my laptop talking to a man on the phone about billing for an old phone contract. He told me that the phone number they had on file for me started out with 627 and some other numbers, but I knew this was not correct. I was somewhat irritated and said "I don't know where you got that number from, but it is not correct, my phone number is..." (and I proceeded to give him my real phone number in the dream). Next I appeared in a store (sort of like an office store) and I guess the guy I had been talking to was standing to the left of me. To my right a woman was trying to set up a shelf display and was having trouble, so I tried to help her put these little plastic things on the shelf. Then the whole environment changed and half of the store turned into and outdoor vertical racetrack with a small bleacher area with a small crowd and part of the track went under the bleachers below the crowd. The other half of the store turned into like a gift store for the racetrack and the office shelf display turned into a huge wall display of little matchbox cars, like everyone you could imagine all on wooden shelves. I was helping a woman and a man set them up, row by row, all facing the same direction (away from the front door, even though I suggested the effect would look much more interesting if we had them all facing the door, the man agreed, but we kept it the way it was). Then I stopped and walked to the door in the back of the store, it was a full glass pane door and I stood there and looked out. The color or the sky looked like cotton candy, it was pinkish and blue and maybe purple slightly, and the overall color outside darkened because it had begun to rain and I took notice to that, I liked it. Then I turned back around and went over to the bleachers, the final lap for the race was coming and I stood next to the bleachers where my step mom, step brother and dad were. I remember saying to my step brother "it's the final lap, stand up so you can see" and I stood on an open spot on the bleachers and watched as the first car came down the track behind the bleachers, and a little bit of fire was on the track (the crowd was like "ohhhh") and then the car disappeared under the bleachers and the crowd. The next car was coming down, about to make the turn to go under the crowd and once it went through the fire on the track, it lit the whole car on fire and spread into the bleachers, but then disappeared and no one was hurt, except a an old man who was sitting with his back to the bleachers facing the gift store. His entire head caught on fire, I had seen him earlier in the dream, just sitting there, and I feel like i knew something was going to happen to him. I immediately ran to him, pulled off my thin little jacket I was wearing and started patting it aggressively against his head until the fire disappeared. And it was gone, his head was fine. I touched his cheek (his skin was thing and he had little age spots/dots all over) with my right hand and thumb sort of squeezing and looking him in the eye and I asked him "are you okay?"... I was starting to get teary eyed, but he never replied. Then my family and I were leaving, walking in the parking lot. My step brother said, "there's nothing to eat at the house", and I replied, "what about a tuna wrap salad, and I could make hard boiled eggs to put into it", and he just said no. Next we were in a grocery store, kind of like a Target, with my step mom because she said she needed to find a 2 cup blender or some sort of small kitchen appliance like that. I remember we were in that section, looking at mixers, and then the last place I was suddenly in the nut isle looking at canned macadamia nuts and peanuts. Then woke up.

      Objective Context:
On call today, was thinking of making tuna wrap salad yesterday, was playing a game with a woman whos screen name was nascar something, boyfriend and I are talking of plans to have a baby.

      Feelings:
      Content, worried, helping, observing
    14. Dream #4

      by , 02-21-2011 at 12:44 PM
My first LD in a while. Woo! Wasn't amazing tough :/

This was when I was making my first WILD attempt. It really didnt work. I will be trying again tonight wish me luck! So yes the dream: I find myself in a supermarket with someone I think I know and I instantly know that everything in the supermarket is trying to kill us. Things are falling off shelves next to us, electricity coming out the walls. Basically like a cross between supermarket sweep and final destination. I escape through the back door into a car park and a large grass area. I smell fire so I try to get as fr away from the buildings as possible. There are trees in random places on the field so I run for one of them. There are some people from college running away too. I look back at the supermarket and I see that it's completely on fire and the fire is starting to spread through the car park and onto the field. I feel like if I let go of the tree I'll be pulled back into the fire but I somehow get away and make it to the fence. I start to help people over because I'm a generous person like that. The scene dissolves and I think I either wake up or have a false awakening. Anywhooo this is where I turn lucid. I'm in a room, bout 2 inches tall, on top of a map. I'm afraid that if I move I will move my real body and wake myslef up. This is all really fuzzy I just remember being able to get to normal size and doing some RCs. I think I was in some sort of apartment. I try to jump out a window and fly away but I have a false awakening, then a real awakening. I think I'm going to have to try baby steps from now on when it comes to dream control.

Sorry if some of this seems a bit jumbled I have trouble ddescribing my dreams most of the time.

    15. A Burning House and a Mall in a Dream City

by , 02-21-2011 at 07:58 AM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Non-lucid, Semi-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

[I had several different dreams last night, two of which were lucid.]

[Dream #1] I'm playing Neopets. [In this particular dream,] Neopia is a fully-realized, three-dimensional world, but it's still a computer game that I'm playing using a mouse. The art looks just like it does on the real site. The game is played from a first-person perspective, and there are lots of rooms and areas to explore [just like the plot adventures on the real Neopets Web site]. One such area is filled with Neopets who are dressed in vaguely Arabian-looking clothes; they all have their noses covered with veils, which strikes me as somewhat ridiculous, since they all have such different shapes and sizes of noses. This scene makes me think, So Neopia does have something resembling an Islamic culture. I click my way into a hidden area and receive a special reward for finding it.

[Dream #2] I walk into my family's house, which is big and spacious and has two stories [and looks nothing at all like any of our real ones. House #2, our only two-story house, was nowhere near that big and was laid out very differently]. Suddenly, there are several men in the house with me. They're there to challenge me to a martial-arts tournament. I had known in advance that this challenge was coming. In the course of my conversation with them [which I don't really remember now], one of them eventually says that there is no challenge. Having become semi-lucid at some point during the conversation, I say boldly and firmly, “I have better things to do.” I begin making my way out of the house.

      Then, I hear my mom yelling from behind me that the house is on fire and I should get out. I do so, thinking, I know I should just get out without stopping to try and rescue other people. I go out the front door and walk down a front walk that leads to a fairly high, steep flight of concrete stairs, which leads down a steep embankment, at the bottom of which are the public sidewalk and the street. I jump off the top step to get down to the front sidewalk more quickly. I fall in a long, slow arc, taking several seconds to get down, and land softly and gently on my feet. I had kind of known I was going to fall that way;
      I always do in dreams.

By this point, I'm definitely lucid. From the street, I take off and fly up over the neighborhood. Once again, it takes me two tries to take off. After the first time, I realize, I messed up – I wasn't concentrating right. I try again, kicking off with my right ankle and thinking about becoming airborne, as I always do, and this time it works. Flight feels like it always does, too.

I fly up and observe the neighborhood from above. I can see a little bit of the fire coming from the house I just left. After a minute or two, I land back on the street and see a little model of a single-story house standing on a table. I examine the model, concentrating on it, and succeed in making tiles blow off the roof with my mind. This action is directly inspired by the scene in Inception where they're at the cafe and the dream starts collapsing when Ariadne first realizes that they're dreaming. While I'm making the model blow itself to pieces, I think about how, when the characters from the movie are dreaming, they might use Michael Caine's name
[*see Side Notes at end] in exclamations of surprise/anger/frustration, etc., as if he were their deity, because he was the inventor of the dream-sharing technology. I immediately dismiss this as a silly idea, though. I keep up what I'm doing, and eventually blow away all the broken-up pieces of the roof, exposing the interior of the model. It has separate rooms inside. There's a small, light brown, flea-like insect inside, with a sort of sail on its back. I know that the insect is my dad. [I don't even know.] I let it crawl onto my finger, rescuing it from the destruction of the model and setting it down gently outside the model.

This scene is immediately followed by an animated sequence of two foxes romping around in a grassy field and falling in love. I know that this means that both of my parents are still alive and got out of the burning house all right.

[Dream #3] I'm outside, in the daytime, on a series of tiled walkways, terraces, and stairways, elevated and built into the side of a hill. Some boy is following me around, singing a creepy version of some children's song at me, changing the words all around to suggest that he would like to do something sexual with me. At the end of the second or third repetition of the short song, I stop, sing the end of the verse for him, then smack him in the face. Then, a passing man helps me throw the offending boy over a wall and down a long flight of stairs. I see him get up after he reaches the bottom, and am glad to see that he can still get up and that nothing's broken.

The scene shifts slightly, and now I'm on the surface-level streets, walking around a city that I remember visiting in a dream before.
[Except now I don't – false memory, apparently.] The city is bright and clean and filled with big trees. There is a train station across the street from where I'm walking. On my side of the street, there is an enlarged replica of one of the stores on Main St. at Disneyland. Upon seeing the prominent train station, I remark that my dream city doesn't necessarily have to be in the States; it could just as easily be in the UK. [This, despite the fact that said train station had a sign on the outside that very clearly read “Amtrak.”]

I walk in the main entrance to the store that replicates the one from Disneyland, and find myself in a shop that is part of a mall. I walk through that first shop and into a second one that resembles a Hot Topic (all the walls are painted black), only it's girlier (there are a lot more dresses). This store also has living mannequins that look exactly like the ones they have at Old Navy. One of these mannequins tells me that she wants to try on the dress I'm wearing, which I had gotten from that store earlier. It's a strapless, knee-length black sundress with little pink polka dots, pink lace decorating the top of the bodice, and a pink tulle underskirt part that makes the skirt puff out. There are lots of similar dresses on the racks in the store. [For some strange reason,] I'm wearing mine over the T-shirt and shorts I was already wearing. I'm really enjoying just walking around, exploring this dream. I exclaim aloud, “My mind is so awesome!”

I walk out of that store and around a corner, through one of the hallways that form the connecting core of the mall. I find myself wishing I could change out of the shorts I'm wearing under my dress, and just wear the dress. I go into another store, this one a Sephora.
While I was in there, the dream ended.

      ---------------------------------------
      Side notes:

*Michael Caine's character's name is Stephen Miles (per the shooting script); that's what the other characters would say if they were to do that. I forgot that while dreaming, though.

Last night, when doing mental affirmations while falling asleep, I focused more on recalling the memory of what it feels like to be in a lucid dream, recalling past lucid dreams, and visualizing and imagining what it would have been like if I had become lucid in one of my memorable non-lucids. It worked really well.

As I was taught when I first tried to ski, people who are right-handed are generally right-footed as well, and are instinctively inclined to lead with their right foot and do most of their controlling of their movement with their right foot when skiing or snowboarding. I'm very pleased and not at all surprised to discover that this principle applies to my flying in dreams as well. I'm right-handed (and right-footed) in real life, and from the beginning, I've always instinctively used my right foot and ankle to kick off from the ground and launch myself into a takeoff.
