non dream - lucid - non lucid

I am in the countryside, walking up a path which leads to my house. (I have never seen this place)
The path leads up to the top of a small mountain.
The area isn't very populated, so I don't encounter many people on my way up.

I finally reach a small street, my house is at the end of it.
There's a few more houses, maybe 12 or so and a water fountain in the middle of the street.
For some reason I am attracted to the fountain, it is very beautiful, but I don't really know why.
As I approach it I start to question my surroundings and quickly realize that I am dreaming.

I am happy to have become lucid, but the feeling quickly vanishes.
In front of the fountain I find a dead wolf. He seems to have died because of a deep wound on his neck.
I feel odd. Seeing the dead wolf makes me kind of sad.

It starts to rain. Has it ever rained in my dreams? Does it rain because I am sad?
The sky starts clearing up and it stops raining, rays of light start poking through the clouds.
A small bird emerges from the light and lands on the fountain, looking at the wolf.

I have seen this bird before! It is the same as in the Dr. Who dream!
The bird looks at me for a few seconds.
Then he switches his attention back to the wolf.
He spreads his tiny wings and they start glowing in all kinds of colors.
Some glitter emitted from his wings lands on the wolf.

The wolf comes back to life and looks at the bird. They exchange a few thoughts, the wolf is thankful that the bird saved his life.
He runs away. I am amazed by what I just witnessed, but I still feel somewhat weird, although in a positive way now.
The bird takes off and lands on the hand of a girl.
      I recognize her, It's Faye!
She looks different than last time though, but her aura is clearly the same.
She has long brown hair now and shimmering green eyes.

"What have you learned from this experience?"

I remember that WakingNomad has asked me this question a few times.

      "He's a phoenix..."
"Yes, he is, so what does this mean?"
"I don't know... what does it mean? We are in my dream bubble aren't we?"

Faye gives me an affirming nod.
She acts very mysteriously. Yuya sometimes does that as well.
I kind of like it though, I've always been a fan of mystery.
She wants me to keep thinking, I'm supposed to come to a conclusion.

"So this phoenix, he is part of my imagination?"
"A projection of your subconscious the people on your forum would say."

I think this is the first time a DC has made a direct reference to DV.
Faye talks about how in my dream bubble, everything that I don't actively create is a projection of my subconscious.
I already knew that, and she knew that I did, but she's trying to make a point.

"So where does this idea of a phoenix come from?"
"That is the question. Knowing the question is half of the answer."

I really like the way she is speaking, it is so mysterious, yet it is very clear that she is leading me onto the right path.
I look at my left arm and spread my own wings, which I use to navigate the dream plane.
I remembered correctly, the wings on my left arm do look exactly the same way as the wings of the phoenix.

"When I use these wings to teleport, that is actually a phoenix ability."

I say this more as a realization than a question.
And after saying it I know that I am right.
I can use these wings to move through the fabric of space and easily navigate the dream plane by doing so.
I can also heal other beings, but the ability is far too complex for me to do anything major.
I could never revive someone, not even a very simple being, such as an insect.
The sheer amount of energy this would require is beyond my imagination.
I remember that I have used these abilities many years ago in my dreams.
My vision is blurry, I assume the dream is about to end, I feel like I should thank her before it does.

"Thank you, I have indeed learned many things from this experience."

I say this quite awkwardly, I am a bit shy.
Faye approaches me and whispers into my ear.

"I am your dream guide you know, this is what I do, maybe you should ask me for help more often..."
    2. The Flooded Nursery

by , 03-14-2011 at 05:52 PM (Soups Dreams)

I got this vivid dream, after my alarm sounded and I went back to sleep because I still had some time before I had to go to college.

In the dream I immediately woke up again, and panicked when I saw the time. 1 pm! My class was starting right at that moment! I had to be in college and it's a 1,5 hour trip to get there. I texted some classmates I was going to be quite late.
To my disbelieve, the moment I stepped out the door, rain came pouring down like a true tropical storm.
I asked my dad to drive me to the train station, but he refused. At that moment I decided to stay home and call in sick. But before I could do that-after a scene I can't remember- I was suddenly outside, and the sun had already set.

This last, short part is a lot more interesting, weird and vivid.
I found myself outside, alone in the rain, in the dark, and I was only wearing boxers for some reason. I didn’t mind being half naked. Even though I was soaking wet, it wasn’t cold and there was no-one in sight. I ran down the street in which water was gushing down trough. After a short while I arrived at a weird looking building. It was quite modern and had a big glass wall near the entrance. From ouside you could see the big hall and some stairs along the sides. Some kids in nothing but blue plastic raincoats where walking up and down the stairs. The kids walking around at this late hour seemed to be boys around the age of 6-8. One boy in particular caught my eye. He was standing next to the door and staring right at me with his hands up against the glass.
Suddenly I got cold and I decided to take shelter from the rain in the building which had already intrigued me. It had an eerie feel to it. I thought it was some kind of nursery/day-care because of all the children, but there clearly where no supervisors around. I entered the strange building which also had a sort of hospital-feel surrounding it.

The place was flooded by the rain. The water was ankle-deep and the lights in the floor made it look quite pretty. The boys walking up and down the stairs didn’t pay me any attention and kept walking as if hypnotized. Only the boy by the door noticed me and kept staring. It wasn’t creepy, I was in awe of the place. It looked abandoned but still had something serene about it. I walked through the water, opened the door immediately to my right. It led to the toilet, a big bathroom with 3 stalls and a door at the other end. The place was not as well-lit as the hall, and a tiny bit creepy. The wall separating this room from the hall was made out of glass as well. I could see the boy staring at me again, trough the wall, his hands up against the glass. I turned to my right, towards the outer wall. There was a sink, with a mirror above it.
At that point I remembered the reality-check technique for lucid dreaming vaguely. I started wondering if I was dreaming and looked into the mirror. I can’t remember anything weird. Aside from the fact of being half-naked in a flooded, dark day-care, I looked quite normal. The technique didn’t work. I looked away, and into the mirror again. Nothing.

I looked away, to my left, for a second time. A little girl startled me. She wasn’t there a second ago, and was now standing right beside me. She looked up at me and had the weirdest of smiles. She was a bit older than the boys, probably around the age of 13-14. Unlike the boys in the hall, she was wearing normal clothes. Behind her, I could see the door at the other end of the bathroom. It was cracked open and golden light shined trough it, reflecting in the water.
I turned around and noticed every child was now staring at me, not just the boy at the entrance.
I got creeped out a little (though not a whole lot, considering the situation) and woke up soon after.

    3. Wolf and Rain

by , 03-10-2011 at 08:35 PM (Nocturn Core (Abridged))
I was in the car with my dad driving. We were on a one way road and had to stop at an intersection. He pulled around the cars in front of us and parked the car in front of a huge, bright screen mounted to the curb. The front of the car bumped the underside of the screen. I looked up at the screen itself, and my vision warped.

I was in my bedroom on the computer. Like some kind of background train of logic slipped into place, I suddenly realized I was dreaming. I laughed at the strange sequence of events… What did my computer have to do with my dad driving around? I wondered how long I had been dreaming. Not very long, I realized. I immediately felt the dream fading as it always does, but I transformed myself into a wolf to put pressure on my hands and feet. I felt that would help. After a brief jog through a forest, I started flying around the world in one frame of reference. In the bedroom, I was gently floating through the air. I laughed when I saw what I was doing in the room. This was the dumbest stabilization technique I’d ever come up with. I turned back into a human. I had brief sexual thoughts, but I reminded myself not to pursue them this time. I would learn much more from experimenting with the dream state. I drifted down to a sitting position and rubbed my hands together. I brought them into view and saw that I was wearing black leather gloves. That explained why my skin felt so leathery. I pulled the gloves off and tried rubbing my hands again. It worked. The skin on my hands was so finely detailed afterward… I noticed every little stretch in the skin. I reminded myself not to get lost staring into them. I pinched myself in an attempt to inflict minor pain. I wanted to ground myself further in the dream. My hand just felt numb. I tried my arm, too – also numb. Whatever, I thought, at least pain wouldn’t distract me. As soon as I started toward the door, things became fuzzy and blacked out. I patiently waited without mental comment.

“Furley?” I heard my mom calling Austin from downstairs – that was her nickname for him around the house when we were younger.
Her voice caused me to lose a little lucidity for a moment. Time to get up, I thought… Wait! My mom wouldn’t be in my dorm room, I reasoned. Vision rapidly came back, and my lucidity was back to where it had been before.

I “respawned” at my computer desk after a few moments. Chelsea walked into the room and handed me a soft drink from a fast food restaurant. About half of the drink remained.

“Are you done with that?” I asked, taking it from her. I wanted to try Coca Cola in a dream. I haven’t had it in a long, long time in waking life because it’s so acidic. The taste was convincing, and getting a drink was refreshing since my throat was so dry. I checked my hands… No gloves. Good! I noticed I was really warm because I was wearing my hoodie. I took that off and tossed it on the floor. Keeping myself warm wasn’t at all necessary… If anything, staying cold would keep me alert. Chelsea gave me a weird look when I pushed the chair back. She had been talking to me about something, but I wasn’t listening. I felt a little guilty, but it didn’t seem like it was that important. If it had been, I wouldn’t have been able to ignore it.

“Come with me…” I said. I grabbed her hand and led her out of the room. We went down a flight of stairs. I recognized our old house in Texas from the general layout, so I knew where to expect the front door. It was wide open. Clearly, I was on the right path.

“Where are we going?” Chelsea asked. I figured I could tell her she was a dream character, or I could let her see that we were in a dream for herself. I chose the latter option.

“Don’t worry about that. We’ll see.” I wasn’t sure myself. When we reached the door, I saw that it was raining. I smiled. I love rainstorms. “You don’t need shoes,” I told her, urging her out of the house even though she was barefoot. I didn’t notice I was wearing socks until I stepped onto the wet driveway. Just intending for them to go away was difficult, but I knew it would be better if I could feel the cold driveway under my feet. Chelsea was hanging back by the door to avoid going into the rain. “What’s wrong? Come on!”

“We do need shoes,” she objected. Sighing, I grabbed her arm and pulled her outside. “Wait!” she objected again. “We have to close the door!”

“There’s no one else in that house,” I laughed. “Stop worrying. Look at all of this!” Where there should have been houses, the terrain was just flat. It was nostalgic in ways – the same trees were there – but with all the buildings missing, it was so foreign. As we walked into the rain, the dream rapidly faded.

I found myself in my computer chair in my dorm room. I relaxed in the chair, attempting to go back to sleep. I wasn’t aware that this was a false awakening. A program called Dream Apache tracked my dreams from the previous night. It even listed the durations of each dream so I could determine the order in which I had them. I waited almost a full minute (53 seconds) in this relaxed state before my head seemed to swell. Was this what it was like to cross the threshold, I wondered? Tunnel vision went to darkness, eclipsing the blinking message on the screen that said “DREAM ACTIVE.” The program even told me where my dream body had gone, but I didn’t pay attention to that.

I felt hands grip my ankles. Interesting… I was dreaming again for sure. The hands were soft, but the force behind them was strong. I felt a forward tug. I was being pulled somewhere.

      The rest has been omitted.
    4. Strange Church Activity, Stairs, and a Concert

by , 03-09-2011 at 09:55 PM (The Lab Notebook)
Awake, Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake]

I'm at my new church. The sanctuary is big and sort of round [more so than it is in reality]. I'm sitting on a pew near the front of the room, from which I can see both the altar and the center of the room. In the center of the room is an elevated circle with six thick, round columns spaced evenly around its outer edge. Beyond the outer edge of the circle, centered in the back of the room just in front of the main doors, is a lectern. I recognize it as our regular lectern, even though it and all the columns are festooned with decorative constructs made out of LEGO toys. A sort of mesh made of bright orange axles and connectors from a LEGO set hangs down a little way over the sides of the top of the lectern. The columns are all similarly decorated. The woman standing at the back of the room places a LEGO construct that she refers to as her “crown of thorns” on top of one of the columns. This causes all the columns to start moving vertically, changing their relative heights. I think about how cool all this is, especially the hydraulic-powered columns.

The sanctuary is filled with people. We're there for the Children's Stations of the Cross
[an event that actually is coming up in just a few weeks]. There are lots of kids there, going through the stations in small groups. A group of kids walks by in front of my pew, and I hear one of the girls in it complain that there aren't enough girls in her group. I decide to join the group so that there will be more girls in it. [I was my adult self in this dream, but no one took any particular notice of me.]

I follow the group to the back of the room, out the main doors, and into the narthex. We stop at the location of the plaque designating the first station, which is hanging on the wall between the narthex and the sanctuary, just to the right of the main doors to the sanctuary. Another adult woman is operating this first station. She's ready for us with a toy that someone at the church put together to make Stations of the Cross more interactive and engaging: a pretend PASIV device. Inside the case, I see a piece of equipment from Verizon's network, a white metal rectangular box with the Verizon logo on top. I know that the box contains telephone cables on coils that allow them to be pulled out and then retracted. You can pull out the cables through holes in the side of the box, and that's what the woman does. The plastic jacks on the ends of the cables plug into matching ports on the bracelets that the kids and I are all wearing. The jacks and ports are the same size and shape as the ones used for the LEGO NXT robots and their sensors, I note. [The cables, however, are satiny silver-gray in color, not black like in real life.]

When all of us are plugged in by our bracelets and the device is turned on, the bracelets start pulsating, contracting and expanding in a way meant to simulate the sensation of an increasing heart rate. The experience is intended to help us identify and empathize with someone who is in mortal terror. While doing this, we all lie down on the tile floor and pretend to be asleep, because we know that this is what we're supposed to do when playing with a pretend dream-sharing device. [When I woke up and recalled all this, I thought it was hilarious both that my brain had created this scenario directly inspired by Inception, and that I had never realized that I was dreaming.]

After this, I walk through the parish hall [both the narthex and the parish hall are exactly like the ones at St. Mark's in Upland] and pick up some snacks. There seems to be some kind of meeting going on in one part of the room.

[Next cycle.] I'm walking on a wet, slippery stone-and-concrete courtyard in the middle of some old buildings with lots of dark-brown wood. The ground is wet because it has been raining; it's a gray, overcast day. I recognize this as an unfamiliar place and realize that I'm dreaming. This no longer shocks or startles me. I immediately start touching all the walls and handrails I pass, even crouching down at one point to lick up some of the water in one of the rain puddles. All of these actions evoke the corresponding sensations accurately.

I see a flight of wooden stairs leading up from the ground, attached to the outside of one of the buildings. I think, I wonder if I can turn these into an infinite loop. So I start climbing them, keeping track of how many segments of stairs separated by 90-degree turns I've climbed, counting them aloud. “One... two... three... now, when I get to the end of the next one, I should be back where I started from, right?” I say. When I get to the end of the fourth segment, though, I'm not back where I started from. The stairway just ends in a level, wooden, elevated walkway leading off to the right. “Damn you, astrophysics!” I exclaim aloud, expressing my disappointment that the normal laws of reality have prevailed despite this being a dream.
[Why “astrophysics,” I have no idea.] I quickly shrug it off and continue exploring, walking along the walkway.

The walkway leads to the top of some steep, grassy hills. I crouch down near the top of one of them. I'm a little cold, so I try to summon a blanket to wrap around myself by thinking about one. Then I remember, No, just consciously, deliberately concentrating on it like that doesn't work. You have to know and expect that it will be there. I don't proceed to do this, though.

On top of one of the hills
[the same one? A different one? I'm not sure], there is a concert stage with an amplifier sitting in the grass in front of it, to stage right. There's supposed to be a concert going on, but it's just beginning the process of being canceled. A rock band is on stage, but they aren't playing; they seem to be telling the audience at the bottom of the hill that there's no show to see, and some of the audience is beginning to wander away. They're canceling the show because the amplifier isn't working. I open up the top of the amplifier and find an AAA battery sitting half out of its battery cradle, which is itself only partially wired up to the rest of the amp. I reconnect all the wires and push the battery back into the cradle, and then the amp works. The band un-cancels the show and starts playing, and the audience stays and watches. I walk down the hill to join the audience. I notice that I'm now wearing the same two layers of coats that I often wear in real life. The dream starts to fade. Then I woke up.
    5. The flood

      DJ Log: March 6, 2011 – 7:00AM (USA Eastern)
      Text color legend: · NON-DREAM · NOTES · DREAM · LUCID ·

(Note: There were a couple of previous dreams, but I have no recall of them. This one is exceptionally clear and vivid, but my recall is suffering this morning.)

I woke up (FA) to it raining really hard outside. I get up and look out the window to see flood water running down the ditch and quite a bit of water running down my driveway. There is mud and large rocks washing down the hill, across my driveway and into the road. Several cars are trying to drive by between the rocks, but some of them are getting washed away. My truck is not in my driveway. It has washed up the hill and is sitting in the ditch up from my driveway. There are a couple of county maintenance vehicles also sitting there. I can see some bright blue flashes of light from the fallen power lines shorting out.

When I woke up, it was actually raining really hard. I'm certain that the sound of the rain on the porch roof outside my bedroom window interrupted the previous dream and brought this one on. I'm certain that I was 2 seconds away from lucidity here. I was just starting to notice that my truck got moved uphill in the flood waters, but woke up too soon.

    6. my faerie senses are tingling

by , 02-26-2011 at 03:52 AM (Wandering in Dream Debris.)
In my first dream I find myself floating around in 3rd person. I begin to notice that I'm at an old home I lived in except it had been taken back by nature.

I'm amazed by the tree vines and roots that have consumed the walls. There was this mystical sense with little particles floating in the air and a few rays of sunlight peering from holes that were now in the roof. I focused on the particles and to my surprise some of them were floating in very peculiar ways, so I zoomed in closer and I noticed they were actually faeries. Very happy little guys, floating around, glowing, and minding their own business. Some were attending flowers and removing pollen and sap, it was really cute. Then I noticed one in particular speaking to another one, this is when I took over the body of the 2nd faerie.

He began to talk to me and was telling me that if you listen closely, you could pick up human conversations, it was like a magickal sense that the faeries had the ability to do, anywhere they were. I listened intently and picked up the cry of a little boy being physically abused by his drunken father. I pleaded to my faerie friend that we must go and help him, but he told me we weren't allowed to interact with human affairs. I found it ridiculous so I flew away. There was a slight sense of lucidity, not that I knew I was dreaming, but I had a very good sense of control that felt different from normal dreams. I zoomed around till I found the source of the noise I had picked up and my faerie friend followed after me. We saw the father yelling at the boy but it wasn't anything I could understand. I tackled at the window over and over till the man looked at me with total shock. I notice I had a very bright aura coming out from my wings. He dropped his bottle and yelled something in an angry rage, but he backed off and stormed out of the room.

The boy looked at us from the window and had tears rolling down his face. My faerie friend proceeded to do some faerie magick and was shooting small fireworks and bursts of light for the boy, who was very pleased. I noticed it had been raining and could see reflections of the lights in the raindrops sliding down the window. The boy smiled and there was this great sense of peace and serenity in the air, a feeling I've felt before in dreams, it was very nice. He waved at us and somehow I had the sense he knew we were leaving, everything faded to black and I woke up.

    7. Dark, Damp, first two hours of sleep

      by , 02-09-2011 at 01:16 PM (DC's Dream Journal)
      Something about people who work in a fast food place are not allowed to wear jewelry or make-up. Well duh that sounds like every fast food joint D;

I'm in a house where it's dark and there are odd pictures that are 3D I put my hand into one and grab a rusted metal rod and when I try to pull it out it starts sucking me into the picture (it might have been a painting I dunno) it starts to rain.

Some evil guy trapped us underwater, a giant turtle is attacking us we try to use our shindan to kill it but we cant find an opening (tegami bachi instead of insects)

I'm walking through a tunnel and At the end is an opening , a man says I don't have to build my own home someone can build It for me. I think I go back inside the tunnel and there is a spring inside where an old ferret trains me but only only wanted some ford because I was hungry. I go out again and the ferret transformed into a limo and I go off with my family :/
    8. First Entry

      by , 02-02-2011 at 09:45 PM
Very strange. I had some sort of book that I could enter through the pictures in it. There were some very spooky images in the book and I'm glad I didn't go through one of them...
It took me to a whole bunch of different places, including a strange hotel. I walked out on the grounds and saw a girl I have known for a few years, but not well. She asked me to follow her. I did, and we came upon a circle of chairs with people of all ages sitting in them. There were two empty ones, so we sat down. It was some sort of support group, but I can't remember what for. I couldn't understand what some people were saying. I got up and walked away...
I came to a room full of people but none were paying attention to me as if they couldn't see me. I saw a piano in the corner. I have played piano for many years so I was intrigued. I sat down at the piano and pressed some of the keys softly. Then I tried to play a few pieces but they kept sounding wrong and incredibly cacophonous. I noticed that the keys were covered in some sort of slippery liquid. I looked up and realized that the whole room was staring at me angrily. I tried to explain to them that the piano wasn't right, and that there was something on the keys. I looked behind me to see a tall girl in a Victorian dress and hat holding a teacup and intentionally spilling it's contents on the keys. I stood up and shoved her. I don't know why, but I think her name was Stephanie...
Somehow I ended up back in my own apartment. I put some leftover pizza in the oven and looked through the window. It was raining out but incredibly sunny! I ran out the door to see if there was a rainbow. No rainbow, but my backyard seemed more beautiful than ever (it's not beautiful at all in waking life). I began to sing and my voice came out beautiful and clear. My roommate came through the door and I was embarrassed because she had caught me singing. I went back inside to check on the pizza, only to find there was way more in the oven than I had remembered putting in (this should have been a signal that I was dreaming!!). Instead of two pieces of cheese pizza, there were at least six of many different kinds, and a lasagna. I assumed that the lasagna belonged to my roommate. The pizza tasted awful, and I threw most away. I got a large chunk of spinach stuck on my back molar, and I just couldn't get it out. I kept pulling and pulling at it, but it wouldn't budge a bit.

I woke up and realized that I had slept through my morning class.

There was more to this dream, but it keeps slipping away. I can only remember little bits of images. There was a lot more that happened at the weird hotel, I just can't remember what.

It was a Cross Country race at Wheeling invite(it was raining). I get asked if I am the Dylan Roberts? Then I got complimented by three runners on running fenton sick and smiling the whole race. OD won the race and gets his name cheered at the end.
    10. Warm Rain..

I remember my mother telling me to go outside and play in the rain. I argued that I'd look silly and if I saw someone I knew I'd be embarrassed.. Anyways.. I ended up frolicking in the front yard. Until Paige, Kali, and Lance walked by.. I froze until they were out of sight. There was about half a foot deep pool of water covering the entire surface. And the rain was soothingly warm? It wasn't very well lit either.. At the time I was sort of obsessed with Paige..

    11. Harsh Winds and High Rains

      by , 01-03-2011 at 07:11 PM
I'm with someone I know. I have no clue whether it's one of my best friends or a cousin. We're standing outside my house near our Mazda Tribute (SUV) and mom calls us inside to get ready to leave. My best guess is that we're about to go take part in some sort of holiday activity. Suddenly the wind starts to blow right before we reach the steps, we join hands and spend a good minute or so trying to fight our way to the back door to no avail. I give up go for the next best thing, the SUV. It's right behind us now and so I try to fall back to the nearest car door without over shooting. I just barely latch on and crack the door open. My companion looks at me expectantly.

"If I open the door any wider, the wind will rip it off!" I yell through the loud sounds of the wind whistling by.

I do my best to swing her around and into the car and succeed after several attempts and jump in behind her, closing the door.

      Shift:

The family and my companion ride in the car, my best guess is that we're on highway 183 going right through the city of Austin. The weather is dark and grave and ahead HIGH up in the sky we can see the whole of a severe storm approaching, it's very surreal. We all discuss the marvel with great curiosity and then my companion speaks up and informs us about a news report she had seen.

"It's at an incredibly altitude and lowering rapidly as it heads south east. They say it will reach it's lowest altitude and destructive force as it enters the city of [my home town]."

All I remember is feeling distressed and worried.

    12. Dream travel

      by , 12-04-2010 at 05:32 PM (Pdiddles03 Dream Journal)
I don't remember all of my dream last night, but i was at my high school, and I walked to the third floor. I started out by the entranceof the driveway by the school, and i walked to the third floor using the stairs and into the classroom only to find that I had forgotten my backpack in the parking lot. I freaked out because i didn't want to be late for class by running back down so for some REASON an idea came to me. I visualized where I wanted to go and closed my eyes as I fell backwards onto my back. When I had opened my eyes, it started out a bit blurry but I was in the parking lot laying down and i got up. Some people wre kind of confused as to why I was laying down in the middle of the lot but I just got up and ran away

The last part of my dream was putting my wifes dog on a leash, and the dog was trying to bite it cuz it didn't wana be on the leash.
    13. Don't wake up or we will die!

I don't remember the beginning of the dream, but the first thing I DO remember is saying to LostInLA "Okay, I'm going to wake up now." Suddenly everyone around us stopped and stared for a while suddenly turned towards us and started to come after us both.

I presume it was because they think that if I wake up, they will all die.

We were being chased through a kind of miniature city, as in a previous dream. Eventually we got to a balcony. It was cloudy and overcast, raining, and about 5 in the afternoon because it was half-dark.

I was cornered against the railing while my friend ran off another direction. 20 metres (65 feet) below me was a carpark, so I jumped off and tried to land on a car, instead hitting the ground, hard.

I thought "Wow I should be dead," feeling all broken etc. The car I was facing had a silhouette of the driver's seat, but then it changed into a person and so I threw a nearby glass bottle at the window, quickly stood up, and saw a car drive up to me. The car was covered in advertisements for Xbox Kinect and was bright green and pink, compared to the gloomy grey everywhere else.

I got in and LostInLA was in the back. I don't know who the driver was, but we drove away. There was conversation, but I don't remember what was said. Something like "Where can we go? The whole world is gone!"

We turned down a small street which turned out to be a dead end. It was a place where you can launch a boat into the water. In a previous dream, we had driven over this water in a car, because we were going fast enough, and there were no zombies lol. I said "The water is too rough to drive over," and suddenly there was a possessed baby in front of the car, so we started to drive to the left, there the dead end extended to...
And then I woke up D=

      Covert Ops

I don't know how I got where I was, but I was driving and I ended up in a parking lot in front of a Circuit City. It was dark out. Kind of rainy. I parked my car in the front row where there were only a few cars in the parking lot. But I didn't go into Circuit City, I went next door to an abandoned building. I kept checking around to see if anyone was watching me. I get to the abandoned building and it's like warehouse huge inside. I look around and find a stairway leading down. I go downstairs and find it's a secret hideout... for who I don't know. All I remember seeing is a tv and someone playing video games. Then someone else tries to hand me a Nintendo DS game. It's a Mario game and I open the box to find that the cartridge is the size of a digital camera memory card. I hand it back to whoever it was that gave it to me and left.

I am outside looking for my car and there are tons more cars in the parking lot now. It's still dark and now it's pouring down rain. I see a car that I think is mine, but the license plate isn't mine, so I keep looking. I finally find my car and get in and leave the parking lot. I feel like I'm being followed so I morph my car into a bike. So now I'm riding my bike in the rain and I'm at a stop light. I see along the sides of the road there are lasers that can detect movement. There is a cop behind me and I turn right so I can try to shake him. I hop my bike over the motion detector laser and keep riding down a dark alley. The cop follows me, then I see another cop coming at me head-on. I skid out to the right and into a hole in a chain link fence and hide behind a dumpster.

Then someone comes up to me and congratulates me on getting away from the cops. I now feel like I'm in third person and writing this as a novel. In my head I can hear myself narrating saying something like, "what they didn't know was that I was pregnant with another man's child." Apparently I was being picked up at a check point by my "boyfriend" and his mother. Bizarre!

    15. #8 Skylights

by , 08-21-2010 at 07:13 PM (East of East St. Louis)
There was some kind of natural disaster and so, we had to leave by helicopter. After a short ride, we were dropped off at some kind of mall.

I instantly have to go to the bathroom. I find one and go into a stall, do my business, and go to the sink. There's a line, though, so I just look around in the bathroom. There's skylights, and through the window I can see cloudy grey sky and rain dropping down onto them. There's a man and his young son in the bathroom, talking quietly. I'm not sure what they're saying.

I go over to the sink and I notice there are hair catchers in all of them. I think this is odd, but I don't push more. I wash my hands and dry them and leave the bathroom, heading to the bookstore.

There's only a couple of people in there, and I'm looking for a book, but I can't remember the title. So I'm searching around, hoping I'll see the title I'm looking for.

I see a lot of books on vampires, and the supernatural, and stuff like that. I flip through them, don't have a lot of trouble reading them. They have a lot of pictures in them, and some are interesting. A woman dressed in purple with a mask on, a fog-covered bridge, a woman standing in a kitchen watching as an octopus attacks her sister.

I leave the bookstore, annoyed at not finding what I wanted, and pass six hispanic guys. The dream shifts from me to them.

They talk about this skit they have to do. One mentions that it might help boost morale and distract people. One guy doesn't really want to do it, but can't fault with his friend's arguments. They go to the food court, where a stage has been put up, and get into position.

The dream faded out and I woke up.
