Morning of May 15, 2014. Thursday. Dream #: 17,314-04. Reading time: 2 min 45 sec. I am riding in a landau with Zsuzsanna either late at night or early in the morning before dawn in Rochester, Minnesota. I get the feeling we are enjoying an expensive tour. The unknown coachman is on our left as I sit in the middle. At one point, we are going down 2nd Street SW so that when we turn right, we will go past the Mayo Clinic Baldwin Building. There are many high buildings adjacent to the streets. There is no other traffic or any other people. What is surreal about this scene is that the small brown horse pulling the carriage is nearly half a city block ahead of us on a very long lead rein. It seems to be like this so that tourists cannot take control or cause the landau to go in a different direction. Even so, the lead rein seems too slack for feasible control of the horse. I wonder what will happen when we get to an intersection and have to turn the corner. When the horse reaches the intersection and turns right, we have to stop. We have to get out of the carriage to push and align it to the perpendicular street to continue our journey. I consider we will probably have to do this several times before we get to our destination. Zsuzsanna and I decide to walk. In a room on the second floor of the hotel, I find a television broadcast annoying, but I am unsure how to turn it off. Zsuzsanna is on the bed, and there is an unusual movement over her skin, like a ripple effect (reminiscent of moderate ocean waves). Later, I am in a library where there are many other people. I am standing in an area near a long table that is mostly to my right. A young male approaches me and pulls something out of my left plaid shirt pocket with his right hand. It is a Mars candy bar wrapper. He throws it on the table while claiming it is against library policy for anyone to carry a card in their pocket. His activity makes no sense to me, and I decide to punch him and knock him to the floor. My instinctual awareness of being in the dream state increases to full recognition I am dreaming. I leave the library, though it is now part of a larger building. I follow two people out into the hall as I see it is like a college I went to and later worked at in maintenance in La Crosse. I walk westerly down the hall. I see through the glass doors that sparse raindrops are falling outside. It now seems to be winter. I feel anticipation because I enjoy walking and flying in the rain in dreams, and I know it will vivify my dreaming experience. When I walk outside, the rain is stopping. I walk down the alley, and my awareness seems to fade only slightly. I am sitting on the ground. I look out from the end of the alley and notice a pair of feminine legs that shine with a golden light. (It is a pale gold but then closer to canary yellow, but at one point, it looks mottled with white or paler yellow). The unknown girl stands near a parked car. She is briefly talking on a payphone but then on her cell phone. She is wearing a short dark blue skirt and black stilettos. For a time, I can only see her from the waist down due to a low tree branch blocking the rest of the scene. I am intrigued. Otherwise, she seems to be an ordinary woman engaging in everyday activities. When I get up and go closer, I see her walking a bit north from the car, but she stops and looks at me as if expecting me to say something. My dream fades as her glowing skin dims somewhat. My liminal awareness arises to full recognition of being in transition in my dream relative to the shifting somatosensory dynamics and my physical orientation in bed (a factor more sustained in childhood).

Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #204: Ozone I’m sitting at a craft table with three other people: a guy in his late 20s (“Guy”), a woman in her 30s (“Lady”), and a crazy-looking woman in her mid-40s (“Crazy Lady”). Crazy Lady keeps talking to herself and acting disturbed as she works on her project. Lady gets the bright idea to tell Crazy Lady that Guy has a prize for her. “If you get all your work done, maybe he’ll give it to you.” Crazy Lady keeps asking what the prize is, becoming more and more fixated on this prize until she gets out of her chair and approaches Guy. I have a feeling that something awful’s going to happen but that I can’t stop it. Spoiler for Unpleasantness: I see a pair of dirty scissors flash in Crazy Lady’s hand. She gouges them into the side of Guy’s neck and then grinds the thick, dull blade across his throat. Blood everywhere. Guy collapses to the ground. Crazy Lady disappears from the scene as Lady and I rush to help Guy. Now I’m on the phone with emergency services begging them to come help us. They sound very unhurried and tell me that the wait will be “about 30 minutes”. I’m stressed out that they’re going to take so long but I hope they know what they’re doing. I nose pinch reality check in the hope that this isn’t real, and when I blow throuigh I think, No way am I so lucky that this is all a dream. I confirm with a second nose pinch, that yes, I’m dreaming! Guy and Lady both disappear from the scene and I’m left along in an empty classroom. I wander outside into a misty nighttime street scene. I feel happiness and contentment to have escaped a nightmare and I peacefully explore the environment. The bricks on the side of the building fascinate me first, and I bring my vision right up close to them. No matter how close I get, my eyes never lose focus. I seem to be able to look further and further in, zooming into every crack and imperfection. My fingers explore the moist bricks and it’s like I can sense each individual drop of moisture with my fingertips. I suddenly give the wall a huge sniff. It feels invigorating and seems to bring the scene even more fully to life. I sense moisture and a sharp whiff of ozone when I do this, just like what you might smell after heavy rain. There are a few DCs hanging around nearby, talking softly about something I can’t make out. I approach one of them, a brown-haired guy that’s facing away from me, and examine his hair and scalp up close. I’m fascinated how I can see down to the individual hairs on his head. The DCs’ conversation ceases as I do this and it feels like I hit pause on what they were saying. I take another huge sniff, this time of the guy’s scalp. It just smells like a bunch of hair. I laugh self-consciously at what a creepy thing this is to do. Fortunately the DC doesn’t react. I walk onward now through the misty night toward a short stone bridge that runs over some unknown river or creek. Before I cross it, the dream ends.
Night of 4/16/14 Dream 1: rolling up a long cigarette ( 2 feet long) smoke it feel a buzz (different dream?) raining (next to a jungle? in south america?) had to hide from someone we both had guns running around sparse small bungalows hiding lights out we both had guns friend was in a house with me, needed to protect him
Before I start off, when do y'all record your dreams? When I wake up I don't want to turn on the light and start writing things down. How can I become better at this without ruining my sleep? In bed from 9:42pm-5:59am Drank apple juice and meditated a little the night before Dream one: (Fragment, non-lucid) Was with an old friend playing games together We were eating pizza His old man was there Throat felt really thirsty/salty/burning end: Woke up a little before three and had to get some water This probably comes from the guilt I have from not speaking to this friend in a few years, for no real reason. Dream two: (Semi-fragmented? semi-lucid?). Could feel that I had some control over the environment, but I wasn't fully lucid; I didn't know I was dreaming. In an aunts house Feels (from the inside) like a house from japan. uncle not home. black man ready to leave the house (What?) tell him he still has a chance, aunt was once engaged to a black man.(What?) he leaves house is leaking rain water forget house is leaking go outside?, don't remember what it looked like. find cement tunnels running under the city Explore tunnels, feels like something the yakuza would use. scared find openings into houses (smuggle children?) find opening into aunts house, she didn't know about yakuza hatch get lost in maze of tunnels end: woke around 5:30-40 have no clue where this came from
I am with my parents at some coastal/island location that feels like Puerto Rico, where my family vacations every spring. We go to this water/theme park that has nobody operating it. But we are allowed to turn the rides on and off ourselves. I activate this swing/spinner thing and get on without strapping myself in. And wouldn't you know it, I fly off a hundred feet in the air and begin falling toward the ground. But the funny thing was, I didn't fear the ground, I embraced it. I knew that I was just so screwed that there was no purpose in even fighting it. It felt like I hit the ground and splattered like a big bug, but at the same time, I regenerated in a new location. I was now in some subdivision type place, and there was beautiful golden sunlight streaming through the trees. "Is this... Heaven? It's not as impressive as I thought." A few moments later I become fully lucid. I briefly stabilize and begin exploring the subdivision. It has a feeling like my cousins' sub. Large trees and single-floor homes. I encounter a group of dream characters. 5 children and a mother. I think back to the dream goals for this month, to ask a dream character for their middle name. I singled one kid out of the group. He had the face of the bully from my school and I thought about attacking him. No, this DC is not ill-willed. Let's show him around the dreamworld. So I asked him his first name. I can't recall it, but I know it wasn't anything phenomenal or interesting. I then asked him for a middle name. He thought for a second then told me. "Paulson" Okay, I asked the boy to follow me, telling him that I wanted to get somebody else. I decide to manifest my dream guide. I find a house across the street. I tell msyelf that she is living in that house. I knock on the door and much older woman/ obviously not her comes to the door. Thinking quickly, I ask her if Manei (my dream guide is home.) She tells me that she was getting ready and just needs a minute. About ten seconds later, she joins up and we're ready to go. We begin walking down a road, out of the subdivision. There are huge oak trees planted at increments on either side. I for some ridiculous reason decide to talk to this dream character as if I am his dream guide. I can't recall what I said, word for word, but I'll paraphrase it best I can. "Welcome to my world, my dream. This is not heaven, nor your home, it is simply a reality that I create." "So you're like god?" "Yes. Any combination of sensory experiences that I desire to manifest can happen given enough effort and practice." "Look can we get out of the road?! There's cars coming!" I look down the road we are walking on. About a half-mile down there are a couple cars. "Not any more" (Holds out arms) "Because this is no longer a road for cars." I grabbed hold of the sides of the road and made it narrow to a point, where the road became grass, but left an open path on the forest floor where it had once been. We continued walking, gradually transitioning from pavement to grass. "This kid still doesn't seem convinced to me." I through the canopy above us and try to imagine the clouds growing into storm clouds. I get back into my dream guide voice. "In ten seconds, it will start raining." It was at this point that I completely lost focus on the instructing the dream character (why was I even doing that?) and just counted down from ten to see if it would actually start raining. I made it to one and nothing happened. I heard a roll of thunder. By the count of 15, It was a downpour. And it was a good thing my dream guide was there to pick up my slack. She began talking to this kid for me. I woke up a few moments later.

One of my students has wandered off and I need to find him. He is not wearing shoes and it has started to rain. I set off to find him, walking down a nice grassy hill in the rain. I come to a street, it has no sidewalks, is in somewhat shabby shape and has beautiful mature sycamore trees planted along both sides of it. There are many branches that hang over the road. I start to flap my arms, bird style. With this flapping, I rise into the air and fly from branch to branch. I am singing the mantra of Avalokiteshvara as I fly. I recognize that there is something strange about flying, but rationalize it thinking "I am really only about 10-20 feet off the ground, its not like I am really flying." There is some manner of transition and I am back at the house where the dream began. My student has returned safely.
In my other dream, I was walking towards Belen. I notice instead of my shoes I had my boots on. It started to rain and I arrived at Amy's house. It was me, Amy, Kristy, and a young girl. Kristy looked smaller and skinnier than she actually is. It was a pretty big house and then suddenly we get the feeling that someone is going to come rob or kill us. We hide in a secret room behind a bookshelf. Kristy starts grabbing my penis and telling me she wants it. I'm like wtf? After, we hear stuff going on outside and the town is engulfed in flames. There's a huge monster attacking it. I go outside seeing if I can kill the monster but I can't find anything.
Dream Notes In my first dream, I was standing in the middle of somewhere and it was raining. This scene was very similar to the dream I had the night before. In my next dream, I was an assassin and was in a place that looked like a temple. There was water between the walkways that were made of stone. That's where I was hiding. Instead of killing people, I would have sex with them. A helicopter crashed in my next dream and me and three other people were in it. We got out and zombies started attacking us. It was like Left4Dead but I had no useful weapons. We went inside a building that looked like a mall and I struggled to find weapons while killing zombies. My team didn't seem to care about me and would advance even if I was in trouble. I managed to grab and electric razor and that's what I used as a weapon even though it was useless.
I was at work walking to south housing. I notice M. Cisneros had my parkour pants on. I ignore it and when I get to south housing, I do a wall run and then notice a lot of the sergeants from the military looking for the flight students. I go look for Cisneros through the work gate but can't find him. I dreamt that I was in bed and my sister was getting ready to go somewhere with her friend. The news was saying that there was gonna be a storm. I set up my computer and my sister told me my GF left and she was about to leave too, despite the storm. I went to the porch and looked outside. It was raining and I asked "You really consider this a storm?" There were two guys outside smoking or something.
non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening I am revisiting my kindergarten. It is now fully modern and totally different. I see one of the teachers from my time. I avoid her before she sees me. It connects directly to an art school. It feels familiar, but why should I know it? When several guys in the common room start looking at me, like they know I don't belong here, I hide behind a book shelf and pick up a large comics book. A boy appears and talks to me. He knows me, says he didn't expect to see me there again, I do feel like we've met before. We go for a walk. A semi-rural area, it's pretty, but he says the surprise is still to come. At the top of a narrow street sided by old stone walls, we encounter an entrance to an old castle. He introduces me a couple of hippies who have reclaimed this abandoned site and are slowly making it their home and reconstructing it. I leave and find myself floating through the air down to the urban area. I become aware and watch an open area, with concrete floor, a few trees, people walking in a hurry in different directions, heading to their jobs. It's a grey, rainy day, people look somber and mindeless. I am lucid and don't have a clear goal, so what I decide to do is reverse time. Don't know why, but I do it. I watch people walking backwards, the wind blowing backwards, the clock moving anti-clockwise. Then I stop it and time resumes it's course, forward. Most people don't react to what just happened, they do exactly what they had done before, repeat the same steps. But something amazing happens, a few of them remember! And whatever they are feeling changes their perception of everything. A couple of friends who is crossing paths again, they walk slowly to each other, with lucid understanding in their eyes, they stare with a smile in their faces and then they hug, with no rushes. Others stop walking and swirl around, like dancing, or stare at the sky or look at others admired that they haven't seen what they saw. They experience a small enlightnement with the realization of the relativity of reality.
I dreamed I was riding the bus and missed my stop. The next bus stop was miles away, and it started to rain. I was thinking about how I'd have to walk all the way back to my stop (the train station) in pouring rain. Then the bus turned around and started heading back, although the driver didn't explain why. I think I may have been unknowingly exerting control over the dream, since the bus took me to my destination and let me off there, and it had stopped raining.
3rd person, there are two people looking down at a body lying face down in the mud, in the woods, pine trees, not a lot of underbrush. They're just barely out of sight of the road, although it's night and it's raining so no one's likely to see them anyway, and they're both wearing dark rain ponchos; the body on the ground, a middle-aged man, isn't dressed for the rain. They're talking to each other, the one talking right now's a woman, saying something about a bike, and about getting his fingerprints on the shovel. There's another body deeper in the woods, and they're making sure this guy will be blamed for that murder. (Woke up. Back to sleep.) HP, as Draco, fragments mostly - the new DADA teacher is suspicious (how unusual); running into Snape in the hall and feeling relieved; overhearing Weasley complaining about feeling 'used' by Potter, I'm surprised and pleased. I'm someone who's just moved to America, or possibly just temporarily staying there; either way, my parents have a somewhat distorted idea of what that entails, they seem to be expecting a great deal more muggings and car chases than are actually happening, their letters keep giving me advice on same. (Woke up. Back to sleep.) A man who's been traveling for a long, long time and wants to rest is given a mission which is described both as a task and a reward for him, saying he'll be "the Copernicus of" the place he's going. The actual Copernicus also appears on the scene, except 'actual' Copernicus is a woman disguised as a man, and also from outer space.
Date: 16th Sept Pre bed: 3mg mel WBTB: 26 mg caffeine (capp.) Comment: post 1/2 for 16th of Sept. Way behind with updating, trying to keep these post as efficient as possible. Micro-ld: In my first room, at some point in the dream, I make a call to this woman in the administration and discuss some things with her. I am in the room and moving in a strange manner, float gliding on the floor and know that this is a dream. I keep on moving around like this but then see the B6 bitch and for some reason assume that she is real. I get totally distracted by what she says and lose 99 percent of my lucidity. We start fighting, bitting and scratching each other. While we are fighting, I keep contemplating, how could I know that this is a dream, she looks so much like her real self. LD1: I find myself on the street of my hometown and happily remark that this is a dream. I see this guy I know and his friends and think about a song I want to make them sing. I make a few movements with my hands to control the guys like a conductor and get some results but when I listen more closely, they seem to talk more than sing and are slightly out of sync. Then from somewhere I can hear the Manu Chao song (which is a mix of many similar songs) play loudly from somewhere. The sound is absolutely fantastic and I am thinking about how cool listening to a song like this in a dream is. I can hold my concentration on the music for a while and then it stops. I see my friend, still euphoric I greet her and think about interacting with her, but then decide to leave the memory of her alone. I feel the dream is fading. A classmate of mine appears and I decide to hold on to him for stabilization. I embrace him. He is wearing a T-shirt similar to that of bf. He puts his hands around my waist and then moves one hand to my butt. I feel that this may quickly escalate to something else as I have a moment of sexy feelings. I look at his face, his lips. But no! I have been thinking about this lately (very annoyed with myself), so no! We are just hugging, I concentrate on that and make the sexy feeling go away. I still enjoy the moment, it is like as if we are about to dance to this soft music that I can almost hear at the background. Then I feel a drop of water on my hand and look around to see that it is starting to rain. Absolutely amazing effect, I think to myself. I am still in the same position, in his embrace, pretending to be stabilizing and examine his well shaped arm, notice his tan and the (sorry guys) flawless soft golden hairs. And as if taking in all this detail isn't enough, I can suddenly see his chest expanding and it dawns on me that he is breathing like a normal person. I find his breathing extremely fascinating, due to the fact that this is a dream, and also as I ponder how my subcon has created so much life like detail this time. I must be really immersed in the dream, I think to myself. Unfortunately, I am taking too much time in this state of awe and feel the dream starts to fade again. I remember I wanted to make a call and look around. There is another DC to my left, similar to another classmate. I also think about my classmate who's holding me. These DCs must have a phone with them. But before I can do anything else the dream totally fades and I wake up.

One of the later dreams: > I pulled off I-80 to the right (Not off an off-ramp, Off to the side) to a greenhouse or some such place and while I was in there I knocked over a large slab of yellow melon (Which had no skin and was unprotected from dirt and such but didn't get dirty) and after I put it back up a small dog started eating it. I went to the other side of the building to talk with employees (Including one man who had a mustache and was balding a bit but who wasn't Jeff Yeager the Cheapskate) about buying the melon but couldn't as it was discontinued or something like that if I remember right. I notice now that there wasn't any highway noise. Later in the same place I was in a room and watched Rescue 911 on TV and I said that the TV show was on from 1991 to 1996 (Though that's true I meant that it started in 1991 but it started in 1989) cried about something regarding a young child while an older woman watched it. I was then later in another room which was fairly empty and then later went into another room where I spoke to a woman. The weather may have been slightly rainy outside and I saw that out of the windows. > Later, I was in a Walmart carrying my Telecaster, Thinking of playing a song inside it and then while I was in there the intercom system on the house phone paged my phone and I answered it, And Father was on the other side of the line talking very faintly and said something about "My son" And I was alerted.

Ok.. I guess the dream started with me and my sister having supper at some complete strangers house, but their dining room looked exactly like ours. It was an older man and lady. (their hair was graying) We had a massive amount of buffalo chicken tenders, and some fried mushrooms that a kid brought out to the table. I told him that they looked like the pokemon, "Shroomish", and he agreed then left. Before we ate, the lady wanted to say a prayer, however she brought out a painting of some windmills, and a random notecard and repeated a short prayer over and over again. When she was done, we talked and ate, but I don't remember much of the conversation. The mushrooms were gone almost immediately, but the buffalo chicken tenders seemed limitless. My stomach seemed to also be bottomless, as I ate a great many, and enjoyed each one. They weren't very spicy, which was good because there was no ranch dressing as far as I remember. The man had about seven on his plate, and was just picking at them. At some point during all of this, the scene around us had changed and we were now in their back yard. Our hosts got up from the table and walked into a garage. I followed them and found that the garage was bigger on the inside and full of trees.the man kept trying to put the woman in a tree, but she kept falling out and she was hitting the ground pretty hard. I told him to put her between two branches securely, and walked around a bit. when I came back, the man was standing by a ladder, looking much older than before, and the lady was on top of the ladder, limp as a sack. I somehow knew she was dead. I walked outside yelling "Forget this, I'm going inside, out of this rain!" The sky was very dark and it started to rain while I said it. I walked to the table and grabbed a two liter of red soda and some of that wonderful chicken. Then I went inside. After a while, The Doctor (Matt Smith) ran in and gave me a speech about not hiding from storms. I went back outside, and my WHOLE family was there. The old man had turned into my grandfather, and he gave my sister and I massive rolls of dollar bills, including some 100's. Then we all went to Dragoncon, where we waited for a premier showing of Dr. Who. There was a life sized weeping angel statue that actually moved when nobody was looking. (I actually convinced myself that it made sense because we have cameras that can track eye movement.) While we waited, I played with a soccer ball with some kids who may or may not have been my cousins. They were wearing full body costumes. The dream fades here.
