    1. Lucid: Rail Standing

      I could see bright blue skies out. Midday. I was standing in front of a painted white metal railing. Beyond that was a drop hundreds of feet down. Basically a large canyon. Beyond the railing was a wide ledge. There was a friendly looking guy (DC) standing next to me taking in the view.

      I decided to stand on the top rail, since it was not a direct fall. The rail was rounded. When I first tried to stand I lost balance and fell back right away. I told myself:

      "This is a dream, why is it so difficult to balance?" - I jumped up again, and this time landed on my knees. I tried to stand, couldn't quite manage it, so jumped back again. -Realistic physics, but I was determined, for some reason..

      Finally, I jumped up in one bound and landed on the railing. Looked around. I was stable. Then... I leaned backwards and was able to ease back, flat as a board. No effort. No gravity. I turned to the cool DC guy who was starring at me with interest and said something like:

      "Now I got it.. See? No gravity." He nodded with agreement. Impressed, but not excited. I feel like he is a DV's buddy.

    2. The Demon God's Sword

      Incubation: How to lucid dream?

      Around 7:30 a.m. Dream:

      Bathroom. Me. A towel. A woman. A guy with a mask. He asks her where his parents/fiance are/is. She said something. She only has one parent?

      An enemy falls. A futuristic place. I'm standing on a platform of sorts. Did I push him? Gods wagering. A demon god with a sword. My subordinate (female) attacked the demon god and stole the sword. She then passed it to me. The demon god attacked me. I blocked with the sword, holding it with two hands. The demon god used a spear, and with only one hand. He's strong/I'm weak.

    3. Running From Monsters

      I was being chased by some people or some monsters. I was inside a building. Dark-yellowish tint. I was in the hallway. Behind me, there's a humanoid monster. I ran, but then found there's another one up ahead. I found a small, open "space" seemingly "carved" on the wall, with a couple of small boxes. I went there and covered my head and feet with the boxes, hoping it's too dark, and that the monsters are too stupid to realize it was me. Then, a spotlight moved about, and found me. The monsters went after me. I struggled and ran out.

      I went outside the streets, jumped down the overpass, and grabbed on to the cyclone wire as I was falling down, and ran down the street to find a car. I found an auto and jumped in. I asked the driver where he's going. He said a word or place, but I forgot what it was. He looks cute, and he wears semi-formal clothes.

      He does not seem to mind I'm there, and I think he was even humming as we drove through the traffic. I keep looking around, in case we might actually be headed where I don't want to be.

      Then we were walking down the street. I keep looking back at him in case he gets snatched by the enemy. He looks very calm.

      Fast forward, we were "racing" on the street. Running. There are people and monsters ahead of us. I raised my right hand, and a great light shone from my palms, and the enemies scattered. Then the "road" was a river, and then suddenly, the water fell below us: a waterfall. Yellow sky. I grabbed him and "redirected" our fall to a nearby wall.

      We hid there. It's a small space on cliff, surrounded by low-lying walls. Just across, we can see it's a "base" of the enemy. We just waited there. Eventually, an ally passed by. A security guard who feels familiar. He probably has been in my previous dreams. He said everything's safe. We went "down" to the house. The one across has a new owner. Looked like my high school classmate Ken. He's with his family there. For some reason, I thought he might be angry at me for "killing" something or someone of his. A pet? I think I killed his "pet" to protect mine. Our eyes met.

      I am sitting in my bedroom, at my desk, looking at a series of written messages on a single sheet of paper. For each paragraph there is an illustration on the right, of a lady dressed in 3-century-old clothing, from various angles. I somehow realise that I am dreaming and become lucid. I stand up from my desk chair and walk towards my door, thinking about what I should do. I get the impulse to summon someone. I look away, thinking to myself that someone will be there when I look back. I fall on my clothes drawer and lie there. I can hear Gavin's quiet feint voice, calling my name. I believe that Gavin is going to come here and wake me up. I start to loose the dream, so I try concentrating on the dream again, but it is too late.

    5. 40th shared dream attempt- whiterains dream

      whiterains dream

      very intense drema slast night but pretty poor memory today. the min bit i remember was being back in college in halls. thee was a bit of a fight and these 2 big lads went crashing through this upstairs window, not breaking it but knocking it out of the frame. they fell the 6 metres or so down. i later heard they were both stable but one was still unconscious.

      then i was back in halls trying to hide from something. i went to hide in someones room, and they turned into this character from fresh meat who is a little like someone i lived near in college. he was being odd so i made my apologies and left. damn memory, more later perhaps

    6. The Beautiful Fall

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

      I'm walking in what looks like an abandon area in what I believe is in Rhode Island. The sky is shining bright baby-blue, and there isn't a cloud in sight. I'm in a clearing that is in the woods with a large road on my right. There are no cars driving on the road. There are multiple sets of rusted train tracks on the ground that are covered with orange and red leaves. The trees are all filled with this red foliage, and general scene is peaceful. I notice that a train is approaching on one of the train tracks. The train has normal train cars, but they are all missing tops. There is a person in on the front of the train. He asks me if I would like a ride, I say "yes" and hop onto one the seats.

      The train starts to move. I don't feel the train moving, but I can see that the scene is changing. After awhile of peaceful driving, the train stops again and I get off. The man is no longer on the train. I see that there is another train that is parked, just like the other one with the missing top- but the train tracks it is on are different. After about 100 yards, the tracks go straight up into the air. I can't see where the stop, so it would appear that they are very high in the air. I get onto this new train, and it starts to move at a very high speed. It shoots up into the air on the tracks, and it is still gaining speed. The train gets high enough that I am now in space and have left the beautiful baby-blue background of the sky. The train finally starts to slow down. As it is slowing down, it is moving off the tracks ever so slightly. When it comes to a complete stop, it does a backflip- and I'm now looking down onto Earth. The train starts to fall- and as it falls it gets back onto the tracks. I try to look at Earth and see what is going on, but the train is moving so fast now that I can't see.

      I don't know if I'm in a new dream on not- but I'm falling, and then peacefully land on the ground in a new area that I haven't seen before. The trees are still in vibrant color like that last scene when I was in on the ground. I notice that I'm on a small island that is the middle of a small pond. I walk around and see that there are black and red water snakes swimming over different areas of the pond. I can see the bottom of the pond, as it can't be much deeper than 5 feet in the deepest areas. The water is crystal blue and looks beautiful as the reflection of the different ripples of water can be seen on the light brown bottom.

      I continue to walk and start to walk through the water. I reach another small island that I didn't see before. I walk on the small beach it has until I reach the other side of the island. There is a man and a woman playing in the water and splashing each other. This makes me really happy to see them happy and playing, then the woman accidentally splashes a snake on the man. They both start to freak out and slash in the water even more- although now it's not playful splashing. Even though this seemingly scary event just happened, the dream still has a happy and peaceful mood. I continue to walk and just walk past the couple until I reach the shore of the pond. There is a rusted gate that appears to lead to some kind of industrial complex that looks abandon. As I approach the gate, the sun starts to shine even brighter than it was shining before. Everything goes white,
      and I open my eyes to my room with the windows open and the sun shining in.

    7. Secret Passageways and Evil Dragons

      There is a very strange vending machine. It has normal things like packaged food, as well as clothing on racks that are somehow attached to the machine, and other strange things. I put some coins in the machine to buy something, but the numbers indicating the amount I put in keep skipping around oddly. I get my coins back out and it's a different number of coins. I try this two or three times with similar results.

      I am outside, in an area with a fence and a light brown colored building or garage. I get in a fight with someone/thing. I have a summoned creature servant thingy. It looks sort of like a large animal, and then I imbue it with some sort of blue energy. It's much larger now and has a vaguely human shape and rippling bluish stuff on its exterior. I think I at least didn't lose the fight.

      I am somewhere snowy in the wilderness. A group of people are trying to take a very sick boy to a lady who can help him. The father stayed behind. He is no friend of hers. The child is accidentally left behind. I pick him up and go the rest of the way. The lady wants to know why she should help this child. I tell her he is the child of her enemy, not sure if that will help or make things worse. She might heal him just to keep him hostage.

      I'm in my room. Some powder (possibly lemonade mix) got spilled on the floor and on my bed by the pillow. I try to clean it up, at least brushing the stuff off my bed, so I can sleep. I sleep in that bed at least two times while I am there.

      I'm looking at the map of the world. The blue dots are fortresses. J is telling me where I ought to explore, mostly pointing at the blue dots.

      I'm to leave the castle soon, for the exploration mission. I'm in my room, and I'm supposed to be packing my things. Instead I take a look around. In an alcove, there is a glass shelf sticking out of the wall a couple feet above the floor. The edge of the shelf has a gradual curve to it. Underneath the shelf is a sort of white statue (possibly of a cherub), that also looks like it might be a drawer. The bellybutton looks like it could be pushed. It's too awkward to reach under the glass shelf with my hand, so I push the button with my foot, half expecting the statue/drawer thing to slide out. Instead, a trapdoor opens beneath me, and I fall.

      It's not too bad of a fall, but I can't get back up. I'm in a secret passageway. Cool. I go exploring. All the walls in this place (and probably the entire castle) are black.

      I come across a sort of downwards stair made of chairs (they have green seat cushions and curved wooden backs/armrests) leading down into a huge room. The chair stair is awkward but navigable, until I come to a chair that isn't quite placed right. I don't think I can reach the next lower chair without knocking the whole thing down. I am considering going back up, but my current position is quite precarious. I lean too far forward and the whole thing comes crashing down. I fall, but I'm ok.

      There are three black dragons down here, and they are neither nice nor happy about my presence. I have to fight them. I use the same summoned creature from earlier, again imbuing it with energy so that it looks like a giant furry humanoid with bluish stuff rippling on the surface. It's a good fighter and goes right after the dragons. I attack too, sword in hand. We prevail.

      I hesitate to kill the smaller, younger dragon with the purple eyes, after the others are dead. What if it isn't evil, like the others? It runs away and almost makes it to some kind of portal. I summon it back with some sort of shadow bind technique. I somehow know it is evil now, and kill it.

      One of the other people from the castle arrived sometime during this whole mess. She is a warrior, and she is the one who is to travel with me. She is in love with someone else at the castle.

      After I get back to the main castle, I read about the adventures in a book. It's different than how it happened. I try to reconcile this.

      I have to finish packing, to leave. The sleeping bag and pillow are already so bulky. How will I be able to take what I need without being excessively burdened?

      This is possibly the most detail in a dream I have ever remembered and then written.

    8. Jumping on the Beach

      I was in my room, on the bed, one evening. Cat was there as well, lying closer to the wall. He was wearing a white shirt. He (or I) was reading something, then he lied down on his back, his eyes closed. I lied next him coz I wanted to look at his sleepy face. When I got closer, I saw his eyes are still open slightly. When he saw me, he suddenly looked funny at me. I told him I just want to watch him as he sleeps. He turned around, facing the wall.

      I went somewhere and went back. Cat was talking on the phone, facing the wall (or maybe pretending that someone called him). Then he said he has to go. I got sad. When he was about to go out the door, I reached for his hand and asked him where he's going. He said he's just going to the bathroom. I slowly let go of his hand as he slowly walked away into the bathroom, while both of us still looking at each other. I finally lost sight of him when I closed the door.

      I went somewhere far. Bacolod? Morning. I was looking at eye/sunglasses in a store. I went out. I was in downtown Bacolod. I ran, sad and depressed, because he left me. Then I wondered, what if he just went somewhere, and he was going to return, but then he didn't find me at home, so we just went away? I got more depressed.

      It was near the pier in Toledo. I ran. I was near the pier. The beach, with clean, white sand. There were some plants. I jumped over into lower ground on the beach, which was more than six feet high (I'd normally feel very uncomfortable jumping from that height). I felt sad, but at the same time, I didn't mind getting hurt physically, because the pain in my heart hurt more.

      Then I reached a place on the beach where there are more people. There is a family of two male parents; they're married and they have three kids, having a blast at the beach. I checked the next "jump," and it was a lot higher. Too high. I saw a bamboo ladder going down. I told myself I'll go down and once I'm lower, I'll jump backwards onto the sand. I then hid my mobile phones in my short pants in a way that they won't get damaged.

      I crossed stepped into the bamboo ladder and started going down. Then, at a height I thought I'd still be uncomfortable, I let myself fall backwards. I landed. It was closer than I thought.

    9. Oct 12 Dream

      I was at Emerald's place, but it looks strange. House. They/We were cooking food. Border. Taste. Trials. Failure rate vs. success. Bomb. 1010. Mom. Facebook. Slide. Luge.

      Barbarian town theme. I was in the Stronghold hold. We were under siege by a few creatures. I/Sorcerer attacked by throwing "gas" at the enemy, but it fell on the allied creatures below me. I tried again and lit the gas.

      2nd dream:

      I was on a mountain. Me and another person fell, and we were running down the mountain/cliff. Rocks are falling all around us. We landed safely, but there are still rocks falling around us.
    10. Griffin/Randy and the Bush

      I think it started out with me and my friend Bailee going to high school orientation early. (Actually it might've been the start of the freshmen year) but I don't really know.

      (Actually, before this, me and Bailee were at school and a janitor told us where our homerooms were.)

      In my homeroom, there was a giant table that everyone sat around. I remember a kid named Griffin being there (but in the dream his name was Randy) and everyone joking about him and stuff (because everyone (even the teacher) knew him, except me)

      The whole time I was sitting in my homeroom, I was sitting at the east side of the table. The teacher was somewhere left of me. My homeroom was in the kitchen (of the school) instead of my normal homeroom, but it looked a lot like a normal classroom. I had some stuff sitting on the giant table that I still had to get into my locker. The table was kind of like the tables in wood-shop, but lower. Not everyone was sitting at it. Some people were sitting close to the door on stools and stuff. I felt very nervous. I was the only one who still had stuff on the table (except one person still had some notebooks or paper, and I felt slightly more comfortable.).

      This scene changed into me standing in front of Griffin's (Randy's) house. It was very fall-ish outside. So fall-ish that the sky was almost orange.

      This scene (which only lasted a couple of seconds) transitioned into night time. I lived in the same neighborhood as Randy (Griffin) and I think we actually lived very close.

      Anyway, it was night, and I don't remember sneaking out of the house, but I knew I was outside and I knew I did this often (and usually just walked around the town.).

      This time, though, all I did was hide under a bush. I kept crawling really fast under it, in a very small circle. The bushes pushed hard against me as I crawled closer to the center. It had the same feeling as a night terror or whatever, though I wasn't really thinking about it at the time.

      Occasionally, a car would pass and I would worry that they would see me, but eventually I panicked because I thought my parents might've realized I was gone. the last thing I remember is running through the street. Then the dream ended.
    11. Michaela is giving birth

      *Its somewhere around our house in Czech. There is Michaela. I can see ropes running from our green house to the garage of the neighbouring house. Then Michaela says she is about to give birth. But she falls. Then she gives birth to a girl, with a nice chubby face.

    12. TC's Visit to Vet

      This is a boring dream but I'm putting it in for the heck of it. I was out with my family in the car. The cat was with us as well. Everyone was in the car except my mother, who was dilly-dallying. I finally exclaimed "Ma! Come on, TC is late for his appointment!" We get to the vet's office, and I see the vet is Mitch, a vet who I worked for 20 years ago in real life. He didn't even examine the cat and we were just standing at the receptionist's desk when Mitch leans over the counter and jabs TC in the rear with 2 vaccinations while I'm holding him up in thin air. We weren't even in an exam room. As we are getting ready to leave, someone says "The whole internet is down all over the world." For some ridiculous reason, this has everything to do with the ocean and his tech says "Why is the internet down?" Then Mitch and I simultaneously tell her "Look out the window. See the ocean? Well, that's the south." OK, so...whatever.
      In the next totally disjointed scene, we are back home (and the house is not my house in real life) and I'm on the 2nd floor with the cat. There is no railing and the cat fell straight down to the first floor and I heard the thud, which means he didn't land on his feet. He's OK though. So I am then trying to install a baby gate at the top of the stairs with no luck. The spring won't tighten. A friend from years ago walks into the house and says hello to my brother. Oh, at one point in this ridiculous dream, TC gets loose and is running through shrubs near a boardwalk but he returns to me when I call him. I think then I woke up. This isn't the most disjointed and themeless dream I've ever had but it's up there near the top.

    13. Help the Hungry

      Night of December 7-8

      I'm in the kitchen of House #1, looking up somebody's phone number on my cell phone. It looks like a calculator, but it has a two-line display, and the number is stored in it. Then, my dad, P. and I have a conversation via text messages about camping. I see the text messages on the screen of this calculator-phone thing. My dad says, “Want to go camping?” I say, “I love camping! Do we have to go in winter, though?” My dad says he doesn't expect us to go in winter. [There was a text message from P. in there somewhere, but I don't remember what it said.]

      Then, my dad comes into the room, and he and I argue about how to retrieve the phone numbers of past incoming callers from the house phone. [My dad and I had figured this out together in real life the evening before I had this dream, but the phone in the dream had a much bigger, much more complicated two-panel display than our real house phone has.]

      Night of December 8-9

      There's an area where some sort of armed conflict has been taking place. There is an organization of people called “Help the Hungry” who are providing food to the survivors by parachuting in with it and by air-dropping it.

      I'm in the bombed-out, roofless, empty remains of a small, single-story house that had only one or a few rooms. There is a rectangular box in the middle of the floor of the largest room. All the sides of the box are on fire, but there is a single hard-boiled egg in the center of the box, and it's not burning. I know that it was air-dropped there by Help the Hungry.
      Oh, a dream, I realize. I decide to go out of the house and explore. I turn around, toward another section of the house, a rectangular section where the wall at one of the narrow ends has been blown up. There's too much rubble between me and the opening for me to walk through conveniently, so I fly over it.

      Once I get outside, I discover that the house is in the middle of a wide-open, flat, grassy field, lined with trees around the edges.
      [Now that I think of it, it resembles the one at the park closest to House #1, only the one in the dream is bigger, has more trees, and has no roads or other buildings in sight.] There is only one other person there, standing right near me as I'm flying just a few feet above the ground. He says something to me [that I don't remember now]. His tone doesn't sound hostile, but I know that he's part of the group responsible for bombing the house, so I want to get away from him quickly. I start flying straight up to escape. He makes a grab for my legs to catch me, but misses. I continue ascending, and the dream starts to fade. Gray blotches appear and spread, blotting out the sky around me.

      When I found myself back in bed, I thought, No, I'm not done yet, with resolve. I didn't want this dream to be over already. I remained perfectly still and concentrated on visualizing the dream I'd just been having. I remember thinking, Please... please... please...

      ...and then I'm back in the sky above that same grassy field, falling toward it just as fast as I had been flying away from it. I do a faceplant into the grass, but feel no sensation at all, neither impact nor deceleration nor pain. I'm now lying on my stomach in the grass. Three or four people about my own age are crouched down in front of me, watching me as I push myself up. I try to speak, but for some reason, although my mind is sending the right commands, my mouth won't work. Instead, I smile and wave at the young woman on the right, who smiles and waves back. As I'm getting up, I keep trying to speak, and after a few seconds, I succeed in getting my mouth to work. I say something like, “Hi, I'm (Emiko). Hide me from anyone other than the Help the Hungry people, will you? I don't think they like me very much.” By “they” I mean the group responsible for bombing the house, and the reason I don't think they like me very much is that I ran (well, flew) away from them. The others seem to accept me, and we all walk away across the field as a group. [That's the last I remember.]

      Side notes:

      I was getting to be kind of annoyed that I'd had dreams featuring House #1, one of my dream signs, for two nights in a row without going lucid. Last night, I started to do more serious RCs again, and changed up my before-bed affirmations, making them more along the lines of, “When I'm in an unfamiliar place, especially House #1, I realize that I'm dreaming.” It seems to have worked.

      Also, this is the second time that a dream has started to fade right when I've been flying upward. I think it's because both times, I was concentrating exclusively on the act of flying, not paying any attention at all to the environment around me. Lesson learned: In the future, look around more when flying. (Yay for DEILDs, though! I'm so glad I know that trick and can pull it off successfully. )

    14. Dreams and nightmares from before

      I am at my old school. It is winter. I look at the nearby skating rink about 50 meters away and see a polar bear.

      Cartoon bulldog killed me.

      Me and my bro are fleeing from a pack of black wolves quite fast, I think we had a vehicle of some sort. My brother falls off the vehicle and the wolves attack him while I continue going further.

      I am in some sword fight with some guy in some gym hall of some sort. I happen to get the guy to smash through a big window when I notice that it's my friend. He is freefalling to some river below, dunno how far the river was. I ask some fellow who was there "Has he changes to survive" or something. I get a reply: "100kg heavy metal suit... deep river... hmm, no" or something similar. I start crying and I wake up in tears.

      I enter some foggy mansion. I can't remember anything else than that, except that there was some old lady and I entered the place twice. And that it was very spooky.

      I am on some rollercoaster or something and fall to my death.

      I am on a car which is going on one of those wooden bridges with those ropes on the sides. The car steers off the bridge and falls to bottomless canyon.

      Our house is full of lava and furniture is floating all around the place. I am on some bed with my brother and some girl I know, we are in the living room. I see a table that seems to be floating to another room, so I try to jump on it. I fail and end up falling to the lava and dying, my hand appearing to the surface before going under the lava.

    15. Laboratory and the Login Screen

      This was a long dream; I know other things happened, but I honestly can't recall what necessarily happened! And it's too bad I can't remember some of the smaller details, such as exactly what the names on the computer screen said.

      I was in the laundry room, located in my basement. You know. It's that back room that has the washing machine and dryer, as well as other crap from around the house. The room was about fourteen feet wide by twenty feet long, and had cold concrete flooring that was painted pale, pale blue. Some of it was chipping off. There were large random segments of cut, flat Berber carpet (blue in color) around the floor, supposedly just for comfort as one would walk into the room. On the right was the washing machine, and right next to it was the dryer. They were both white and shiny. In the back half of the room, past the washing machine and dryer, was a wall dividing up the room. On the left, once you'd get to the wall, was a door. To the right of the wall, on the back end of the right side of the room, was a large white horizontal freezer.

      I was looking to get someone to see my laboratory. No one was following me, but I was acting as if someone was. It's fairly difficult to explain. I went to the left side and opened the door, expecting a laboratory to be behind it. There was a small room with single squares of toilet paper neatly placed all over the walls. I laughed because of this and became lucid.

      I looked around the lab and saw a long, all-steel desk against the wall with a black widescreen computer on it. There was no chair in front of it, so I was standing. I was lucid so, just for laughs, I decided to turn the computer on.

      I imagined it was simply in "sleep" mode, and then pressed a round silver button in the lower right-hand part of the monitor, like many computers have. To the left of it were smaller, black buttons. The screen turned on almost immediately and I felt almost enlightened by it. Maybe it's because I've never used a computer in lucid dreams before, but I just happened to have easy access to one this time. I was very lucid, probably at 8/10 lucidity, but I didn't think of what my dream goals were or what else I could do. After turning the computer on, the first thing that appeared was the windows login screen.



      There were four or five different names on the right side of the Windows logo, like a regular computer would have. However, the text of the account names was a bit larger, and in yellow. The names were also longer, at least ten characters each, some with underscores and random uppercase letters or numbers. I laughed once again, because most of them made no sense, and also because the computer actually worked properly. At least, from what I did with it so far. It was pretty awesome.
