Monday, August 22, 2011 Strength: Neutral Type: Positive-Obscure Lucidity: No I'm still having these incredibly vague dreams, but they're becoming easier to recall. Maybe my practice is working. In my dream, I'm on a ship. I can't remember our exact destination, but I do remember it being very cold and foggy. As our trip continues, the sea begins to grow rougher. Finally, a large gust of wind and a large wave crash our boat and we wash up ashore an island. On this shore, here is a large cave acting as a tunnel leading to higher ground. We are all reluctant to enter it, but finally I do. Once we get to higher ground, I notice that it's cold and snowy. Before me is a tundra, encircling a collection of small, but stable looking huts. The styling of the small town is industrial, and weak lights illuminate the short passageways acting as roads. Suddenly, the wind picks up and the people of the town begin to panic. I follow one into a house and find safety. Just as I ask him about the town, I awake.
07.01.2013Avoiding Saddler and Escaping To the Ocean (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID First of all, this was quite a scary dream because I was trapped in a room for a while, and it took some creativity and a lucky distraction to get away from Saddler, the main villain in Resident Evil 4. There are maybe 2-3 resets in this dream, and there were other dreams mixed into them I believe. The first thing I can remember is simply being inside of a tool shed made of gray bricks and a decent rooftop. I go inside, thinking Saddler wouldn't find me there, but I left the door open, and he slowly prepares himself to come in. He takes a peek to see if I'm there, and I'm pretty sure he knows I'm there. For this part of the dream before the reset, it was because I was afraid of what he would do to me that made me shift into another dream. Before the dream goes into a reset at that same event, I'm in a first person player dream where I'm holding a gun and I'm running around randomly. I'm listening to someone showing another person how to prepare their gun. He screams out, "Lift your Arm!" "Hold!" "Shoot" The person practicing this was doing the same procedure stated to him, and I was confused on what he meant by "Hold," so I looked at the person and saw they cocked their gun and I did the same. I noticed when I was doing this, I get a more detailed version of the gun, and I see #1 and #2 near the holding base of the gun. I decided to press number 2 since 1 was already pressed. I hold my arm up, cocked the gun, but I didn't want to shoot. I just repeated the process until I realized I had a different gun. Now I'm shifted back to that same dream I mentioned of me trying to escape Saddler. This time, the dream shift skips whatever I did to get out of the dead-end situation I set myself up for with Saddler. The area around me was an island and the borders for this section of the island had light gray bricks that pretty vivid for something that would just be a filler in a dream like this. The surface I'm standing on is a trailing path of pure brown dirt with green grass left and right. There's randomly generated trees spaced out maybe 10 feet from each other, but if I remember correctly, there were maybe 2-5 trees overall on this section of the island. The sky above is blue and has little clouds, and it feels likes a tropical environment. It feels kind of awkward to have this nice little paradise of an island with evil lurking within in. So I aimed my weapon that's now a grappling gun to the roof of castle-like structure 20 feet away from me. I think I'm going to miss, but the grapple just extends a bit further probably to ensure that I get a hold on to something at least. So I shifted my gun downwards a bit and now the grapple is in place. I thought I had to manually climb up, but apparently the grappling gun does an automatic pull for me...sweet! So I immediately take a right and head for the sandy beach and find that the water stretching god knows how long. The water is a turquoise type of color that's a bit more on the green side, like pastel green, except a little darker and a bit more yellow to give it a limey kind of color. There's a submarine with its top exposed, and I realize I'm riding a balloon like mini submarine. Things are going fairly well for me, and my worries of the balloon like structure popping from sharp objects is eliminated, which allows me to speed up to follow the older man who I believe helped me escape from Saddler. I wanted to go into the submarine since the old man was apparently going for it, but he moved forward instead, and I clearly shifted my vehicle to the right. I'm keeping a pretty steady pace, maybe 30 feet away from him, but now I'm shifted to the right, and I think I plan to go on my own into a even DEEPER ocean that's right UNDER this one. That's all I remember for that one. _________________________ 07.01.2013Bacteriophages Infecting The House (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID I'm inside of a house, and basically, there are brown bacteriophages that are about as small as my pinky, maybe smaller than that, infecting this random house I'm in. I'm trying my best to avoid them because someone told me that they can cause your memory to degree. They weren't really affecting me, or at least I didn't feel as if they were after me, but I started to get paranoid because they grew by the number at random places in the house. _________________________ 07.01.2013Running Away from White Tiger With Black Stripes (Non-lucid) NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID There's this female that I'm close to in this very cold area completely saturated with snow. There's not much I can remember from this, but I do remember saying something to her, and then I was trying to run away from her. She transforms into a white tiger with black stripes, and while I'm trying my best to get the hell away from her, I think I'm saying some cruel things at her along with someone else running away from her. The other person does most of the insulting, and I realized that these insults I'm giving to her are petty and just completely disrespectful. I'm pretty sure she was someone good to talk with, but I don't know that triggered this negativity. She comes at me fast in her tiger mode, and I'm now in this weird position where I'm controlling my dream body to run away from her, but I also have vision to see what's behind me. She's just coming at me with all her might, and I'm barely able to keep up a faster pace than her. I noticed the glacier and icy areas I'm passively acknowledging as I'm going maybe 60 mph or even 70 mph, possibly in an animal transformation of my own, are starting to crack. But we're going so fast, it doesn't even matter. I can't remember much after that. Then there's this other dream I had where my father reads my text messages and what's on my computer, and I don't want him to know I have a girlfriend. He seems to be a bit passive, but I still quickly take back my phone and laptop away from him.

Thousands and thousands of clapping hands were heard on this very big, plain field filled with people. All whose faces looked excited to see the one face that popped in to the field. Me. Every single person on this field was applauding as I was riding on a carriage. It was beautiful! I didn't know whether to believe it or not, so I just accepted the fact that it was all for me! As someone was riding the carriage for me, I was staring at all the people in the crowd and only thought of how unbelievable it felt to have so many people clap for you. The carriage was almost on its way to the other side of the field. This was the last chance I was able to say anything to the crowd. I didn't say anything, instead I raised my right hand and made a peace sign gesture which made the crowd raise their scream even louder! It was truly amazing! After my few minutes of fame past, things got worse. I was on a journey, with some of my other classmates from high school, to go through the woods and find the point for going in it in the first place. I walked in to the woods but found it all to be a challenge, seeing how I was in bare feet. My other classmates went on without me. That's when another problem occurred. My right foot had something on its bottom. I picked it up to see what it was and found out there was a piece of wood stuck to it. My foot was bleeding. I tried to take off this piece off wood at first but it only bled more. I could remember the way it felt taking the piece out! I was grossed out. There was only thing I could do in a situation like this. I had to go and find a teacher on the other side of this area I was in. I did and I did so quickly. I hopped on my left foot and quickly hopped my way over to the teacher's area. On the way, I shown my cut to a few kids and they were even grossed out. Once I made it to the teacher's area, I tried to find a teacher someone on the street. This area also looked a lot like the area next to the abandoned theater near the location I live in the waking world. There was no sign of teachers, so I walked in to a home and found things to have change a lot! I walked in to a home and suddenly felt like it was now a Minecraft experience! I was in small room filled with chests. One of them was an Ender chest. I walked up to one of my chests and only saw a few non Minecraft items in there. That's when I decided to go in to the wild and explore. I did so and found something interesting on the way. The wild I just walked in to looked a lot like a dream I had before, a dream where most of it took place next to a really huge ocean. I didn't like it at the start. I walked in to a big section of 1x1 towers , flew to the top of one and found a player hiding somewhere in the bottom. His server name was 98Brando, the one who always assumes he's better than everyone else. I jumped on to the ground in front of him and we were now standing on a border between danger zone and safe zone. It's obvious what happened here. I jumped away from the safe zone and jumped in to the danger zone to attack him. I done this repeatedly until he died and I took his armor and items. After he died, I picked up his armor and he had all Protection 4 armor as well as really good weapons and items. Then I woke up for a short while.
The second of two WILDs that I experienced last night on galantamine. This dream was much longer than it sounds, since I was in the mood to watch, go slowly, and take in the scenery. Once again I asked a question of my subconscious, and the "answer" struck me as much more ambiguous this time. Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #42: The War of the Wolves The WILD drops me at a dinner party in a fancy house. All of the DCs here are in cocktail dresses and tuxedos. All are strangers. I walk out into the night past a stone patio, looking up to admire the dome of stars above me tonight. Just past the patio is a sort of desert garden. It's a huge, man-made sandpit where well-tended cacti and yucca plants grow among carefully arranged boulders and signs that indicate the name of each species of plant. I decide to ask my subconscious a question. "Should I ever try galantamine again?" I shout. There's no vocal reply, but a large, gray wolf creeps from around one of the boulders. He looks at me, saying nothing, but slowly baring his teeth. My two Siberian Husky dogs (IWL pets) emerge from behind a boulder of their own, and charge at the wolf! They're much smaller than the wolf, but they unhesitatingly go after him. K (the female) lunges for his neck, but the wolf swivels his hind end around and parries her to the side. The wolf swats B (the male) in the face before pouncing on him and bringing him to the ground. The fight is ugly and one-sided, but (fortunately) completely bloodless. My two dogs run off further into the desert and the wolf approaches me. I'm afraid of him, but try not to dwell on it. I extend my hand toward him, palm forward, as if to say, "Stop." He seems to sense that this is more a plea than a command, and he lunges at me, biting down hard on my hand! For a moment, the pain is alarmingly vivid, but I do my best to ignore it. After a moment, the pain subsides and the wolf lets up his pressure. Silently, he turns and walks off into the desert. I walk further along, the coolness of the desert air quickly calming me. Eventually I happen upon a dark sea. By now I feel totally at peace. I stand on the shore and watch the waves for a while until the dream ends.

[This is a catch-up post. This dream took place on the night of November 20-21, 2012. The title of this dream is in Japanese, and is read "Sora ni Tondeiru Yumebito-Tai." It literally means "Flying in the Sky Dream Person Team (or Corps)." The dream felt a lot like being in an episode of an anime series, so I gave it a title that would be suitable for an anime series.] Non-lucid, Lucid, [Commentary made while awake] I'm outside somewhere, lying in the warm sun. The sun's rays are making me too hot in my flannel pajamas. I'm wearing dark-colored plaid pajama bottoms [the same ones I'm wearing in real life], and a white flannel pajama top with red roses on it [the same pattern as on a bedspread my mom has at her house]. I'm in a large department store, filled with racks of cold-weather accessories and other clothes. I'm wandering through the racks by hopping up off the floor, hovering above it for a few seconds as I float forward, and then sinking back down. After several repetitions of this, I think, Hmm, this is longer than I should be able to float like this. Oh - that's because I'm dreaming. I fly out of the room with the clothes and winter accessories and into a larger room. It's still part of the same store, but it has a higher ceiling and has a skylight. I stop to ground myself in the dream by landing on the ground and touching things with my hands, including some packages of batteries that are hanging up on a rack. It works. I join up with a a group of kid DCs that includes Merida from Brave and a curly-haired blond boy. We all set off from the department store together to battle some evil force. We run out of the store and come to a hilltop that overlooks an ocean bay. Some of us, including Merida and myself, jump off the top of the hill and start flying over the bay. I shout “Woohoo!” as I jump off. I notice that some of the others in the group are simply running down the hill, rather than flying. [For the first time, it seems perfectly natural to me that some DCs can fly, too, and I don't feel any need to hide the fact that I can fly, as I usually do when I'm around DCs.] All of us, those who ran and those who flew, reassemble at our destination, which is a small house on the cliff overlooking the ocean. We realize we're being pursued by some kind of monster that will kill us and eat us. There is a newspaper article about the monster in the house. The kids all seem to be sure that the monsters have found us, that they're coming, and that we're all doomed. For a second, I'm genuinely afraid, but then I remember: Oh, yeah, this is a dream. I know what this most likely means. I roll my eyes and announce to the group: “They aren't really monsters, they're just tasks that I haven't done and that I feel bad about.” [Or words to that effect.] I think about it for a moment and come up with what that task must be - paying a bill [among other things that I don't remember now]. Everyone in the group seems to relax, and no monsters ever actually appear at the house. One of the DCs in the group says to another, “See about adopting her [meaning me] into the practice.” They are both young men, about 17-19 years old. The second one looks at me and says, “You're [Emiko].... Roboto.” [He used my real-life first name.] I reply, “Yes, that's a name I've used here before. I don't really like it, though.” [Huh? That's definitely not my real-life last name, and I certainly don't remember using it in a dream before. It was a big part of my childhood, though.] I say something about how grateful I am to have been accepted into this group of people, even with my mismatched pajamas. I'm still wearing the same dark pajama pants and light pajama top from the very beginning of the dream, while most of the other people in the group are wearing neat, matching, school-uniform-like outfits. [This isn't surprising; I was an anime fan for a long time, and a lot of the characters in the shows I liked were high school students who wore school uniforms.] The group of DCs and I all feel a general sense that that is the end of this adventure, but that there will be more in the future. We start flying off over the landscape, looking back at the buildings where we've just been: the big store with the skylight, and a motel [?]. There is an upbeat, exciting rock song playing in the background. It feels exactly like I'm experiencing the end credits of an anime show. I'm now traveling along in some kind of vehicle with the two young men, watching the scenery pass by from a tree-lined road that runs along the crest of a ridge opposite those buildings. I say to them, “Also, your ending theme song kicks ass.” [I think the context for this was that they thanked me for sticking with them so long at the end of the adventure, and I replied that of course, I wanted to prolong the experience as long as possible and have as much fun as I could. I don't remember the beginning of the conversation very well, though. The song I heard reminded me a little bit of this one, except it was at a faster tempo.] I have a false awakening in the bed I'm actually in [I was sleeping on a futon because I had family in town that week], where I can see my bare legs, before waking up for real. --------------------------- Side notes: THIS DREAM WAS SO COOL!!!! I hadn't had a really long, fun, clear lucid like this in a while before I had this dream. I was so happy to have it!
This was the night of November 3rd/Morning of November 4th. Pre-knowledge: I went to bed around 6AM (Was up late drinking with my friends.) Only got about 4+3/4 hours of sleep. The dream got more and more vivid as it went on. I got more and more aware/lucid as it went on as well. I'm not quite sure whether it started in a street, my room, a mall, or the computer labs at my school. I'll just explain all scenes and how I think they go together.. Again, I will label violent/scary/weird parts in RED The Dream!I was at home, in my room. My sister kept bothering me. My friend Jesse came over. My friend Jesse is a pretty big stoner, so I asked my mom for $20 for marijuana. We went out to this street for I don't know what reason. We were near a car on the side of the road. Two black guys kept talking to me about money and I said something along the lines of "Hey everyone has a use for $20 in today's society!" I turned around back at Jesse and my sister and there was a giant tree I had to go through to get to them. In the next scene, its my sister, Jesse and I at some sort of store. We were just messing around at the store. Opening random items, tasting things we had never tried before etc. I was eating some sort of Ice cream with my hands as I walked down an isle. The isle slowly turned into the entrance to the computer labs at my uni. There was a cop there, so I devoured whatever was left in my hand. I talked to the lady at the front desk to use the computers. She yelled to a teacher that his shift was starting soon (I had shown up for class.) There were a lot of chairs along the side of the wall, where people were sitting/studying. I noticed the lady was talking to my Composition teacher who was sitting in one of these chairs. For some reason I got really absorbed by his face. There were suddenly two of him and his face kept changing. I became lucid somewhere around this point. He started explaining some concept to me and I was envisioning what he said. He got to a climax in his speech about "YOU NEED PHYSICAL STRENGTH!" I was then on a beach. Me and a group of five people were at one end of a rope, and six on the other. The other team was pulling us pretty slowly. The rope went around a pole in the middle, so both teams pulled in the same direction. We were fighting over a very beautiful naked woman. I gained some strength and in one big jolt, won the game of tug of war. All the other competitors disappeared once it was over. It was me and this beautiful girl on a tropical island. The island was completely square with beach on all sides. Nobody could get off of the beach as the rest of it was ALL thorns. I kept trying to have sex with this girl, and the scene kept getting creepier. It got really stormy. We turned around one of the corners of the island and down the beach I saw a very strange figure. It was a giant monster. I grabbed the girl and said "It's okay it's only a dream." I tried to make the monster go away, but I kept focusing on it. It was still slowly approaching. I saw a ton of eyes looking at us from the thorns. The monster kept changing form/shape which is why I was attentive to it. I realized I was paying too much attention to these details, so I turned 180 degrees. Everything disappeared without attention on it. The day went back to normal and the things were gone. I ended up talking to the girl/teasing her in the water. Because I was lucid, I wanted to know what its like underwater, so I tried summoning some goggles. I wanted to explore. It didn't work, so I turned around and to my luck, there was an ambulance floating in the water. I kept trying to open the things on the ambulance knowing there would be goggles inside. I couldn't open it, so I just ended up going underwater without goggles. It was beautiful. The color and clarity were so vivid. There were small white fish as far as the eye could see. There were pink streamer like seaweed strands floating in the current, like they were hanging down from the top of the water. The ocean bed was covered in coral and other wild life. There were giant snails and there was a very tall coral formation. There was an octopus on the side, and a mermaid laying on top in a giant white anemone. At this point, my phone woke me up (Stupid low battery .) I didn't want to waste the day away, so I didn't go back to bed. I am ready for REM rebound tonight!
3 or 4 years ago note: I am not a strong swimmer so I don't swim in the ocean in real life. On my way to where my friends and family would be swimming, I was walking through a mountain meadow and became a little disoriented. As I stood in front of a group of large rock formations, I contemplated on which way to go. I climbed up one boulder and up between two small cliffs and onto a trail that led down to the ocean. I think my uncle may have told me how to get hear in the dream but I'm not sure. The fishing was supposed to be great and the water clean. Finally I made it down to the ocean which was at least thirty feet below the cliff where I stood. There wasn't any beach but I made my way down a narrow eroded path to the water any way. Off to my right was a larger cliff and a tiny bit of a cove. I jumped into the water and swam over to the larger cliffs. Once below the cliffs, waves started to build up. They never crested but were often as tall as the cliffs themselves. The deep water, big waves and towering cliffs felt treacherous but I swam for a bit any way. I rode up and down on the giant waves until I decided that It was irresponsible for me to be swimming alone in these conditions. I got out and went back the way I came. Back across the meadow I came to a dirt road that I decided to follow. The pines were dense here and I could barely see the ocean. I soon came around a corner and could see an area where bulldozers had dug into the mountain side parallel to the road ahead of me. The bulldozers had graded an area about sixty feet across that slopped down to some ocean water that came from around the bend of a hill towards the direction I had come from. The sides of the dig were fresh and muddy but everyone was swimming down at the shore. There was an old wooden building with ramps and gray paint that was cracked and peeling. Some sort of chase went on here in my dream but I can't remember exactly what happened. I didn't like this spot and I convinced everyone to follow me back through the meadow. They came with me but when we got to the meadow they stopped. Now in the meadow there were cold springs that filled up several jacuzzi sized holes in the ground. The holes weren't all that bad but I thought they looked a little dirty and that possibly cows might come through here and take a dip from time to time. However, despite my best efforts I couldn't get them to continue on to the awesomeness of the big waves of the ocean. I settled in and everyone set up picnics. Soon people were soaking, eating, chatting each other up, and children were playing. Then I heard someone scream for me. I looked over and saw a large black panther stalking one of the children. I ran as fast as I could and only barely intercepted the large hungry cat. Somehow, probably with pointy stick, I managed to stab it through the chest as it leapt through the air. I can't remember if everyone was happy that I saved the child or angry that I killed the poor animal. Maybe a bit of both. END
This LD started off with some incredible promise. But for reasons that still aren't clear, I wasted the majority of it yammering about lucid dreaming. A strange and extremely embarrassing mistake, but live and (hopefully) learn! Color legend: Non-dream Dream Lucid Lucid #25: A Little Less Conversation, a Little More Action My very close friend F is a famous rap star and I'm his manager. I'm driving him to the marina in a black Escalade, arguing with him not to buy a helicopter for "one million dollars". He's adamant that he needs this helicopter and he brushes off all of my objections about his spending vs. his record sales. As I park the Escalade, I suddenly remember that F is an IT consultant with two kids, not a rapper -- now I'm lucid. We get out of the Escalade and I see that we're parked near an absolutely pimptastic white yacht. The day is bright and clear and the sun is high over a calm ocean. And in spite of my earlier helicopter-related harangues, there's also a nearby helipad with a helicopter waiting on it. F and I have been friends since we were kids, so I'm psyched to be hanging with him in an LD. And with all of these cool toys just lying around! I follow F as he heads toward the yacht. I stop him on the gangway, saying, "Hey man, I'm having a lucid dream." He nods and says, "Cool." But F and I have never discussed lucid dreaming IWL. For some reason, I'm overcome with the desire to explain it to him right now. I ask him whether he knows what LD is and he tells me not to worry about it. But for some reason, I cannot let it go. I go into the whole thing, talking about the sleeping brain, how consciousness is activated, the role of serotonin, all kinds of stuff. At one point I even start rambling about acetylcholinesterase and its role both in dreaming and nerve gas. I'm feeling terribly pleased with myself for recalling all of this information while having an LD and I've lost all regard for my "audience" or my own experience. Suddenly, a shudder seems to run through the whole dream world. The gangway starts to shake and the sky flashes black for a moment. F grabs the handrails and shouts some kind of profanity. The dream ends immediately afterward. I try to DEILD back in but I come up dry. Curses!
Dream - Lucid I was sitting on a small sand cliff with a guy, I'm pretty sure it was my guide actually, overlooking a beach. It was a bright, sunny, perfect day, and we were sitting and watching my brother and his friends play in the ocean. The beach was beautiful, and, besides all of us, seemed deserted. We talked for awhile, and I was wanting to get in the water. I then thought that we hadn't put any sunscreen on; not me, my guide, or my brother and his friends. I mentioned this to my guide, saying we hadn't put sunscreen on, and it was such a bright day we were sure to get burned. The tide then must have been coming in, because it lapped up to where we were, and some of the sand we were sitting on became unstable. We got up to go get sunscreen, and I noticed my guide's upper right arm had fresh, white gauze wrapped around it, and had blood coming through it...dark red, fresh blood. I was mortified, because I had no idea he was hurt. I frantically told him I was sorry, and I had had no idea, otherwise we would have gotten help sooner. Throughout all this, I know he also talked, but I can't remember anything that he said. Hell, I can barely even remember what I said XD. Anyway, then, I was at my house and my mom asking me what was wrong with my arm. I told her it was nothing. I then looked at it in the mirror and really noticed it; I had red scratches and a rash on and close to my shoulder. I had no idea where it all came from. I then turned around in the mirror, and looked at my back and arms. I was in my underwear or a swimsuit. I thought my arms looked huge. I was then standing by a door, and one of my friends, a girl, asked me if I wanted to spar. I said sure. She then threw me this huge pole with a sphere attached to both ends. Apparently, sparring in this dream isn't what I thought it was. I had thought we were going to fence or something like that, but this was supposed to be "female" sparring, where they use poles. But I was apparently the only one using a pole; everyone else had different things they were doing. Well, they had all thought I had done it before, I guess we had a miscommunication there because I never claimed that, but I never had. We walked through the door into a room to do the sparring, and everyone started getting ready and taking their places, but I just threw my pole to someone else and told them to do it, and that I had never done that before. The girl I threw it to, I think an Asian girl, seemed surprised, and said she thought I had done it before. I told her no, I hadn't. I also remember something about seeing one of my stones, my piece of raw blue lace agate to be exact, being on the ground. I was worried about it for some reason. I dreamed more than this last night (I'm actually surprised I remember this much), but I went to bed WAAAY late (2am is way too late for me to be going to bed...my usual bedtime is between 10pm-11pm) because I was out having a few drinks with a friend to celebrate my new job . I'd say that's a good reason to sacrifice some sleep.

October 17, 2012 - The night after the nap! Pre-knowledge: I didn't do any of my normal techniques, nor did I attempt to become lucid. I just went to bed, because I was SO tired The Dream: The first thing I remember was that I was in line for a roller coaster. The line went up and up and up, because the docking platform for the carts was very high off the ground. This guy in a suit came up to me, grabbed my arm, and pulled me passed everyone in the line. The gate to the docking platform opened and he shoved me through, I tripped up a little bit. I looked back and the guy was gone. There was nobody operating the controls for the roller coaster. There were no carts. Everyone in line was staring at me. Suddenly, a cart came in to the station. I got in the front seat. It didn't move. Everyone was still just staring at me. There was a gap or a jump in my dream, and I was in a small coastline town. Maybe only a couple hundred people in it. There were a few small bars I visited, nothing interesting happened. Except, I did have a drink at one of the bars. It made my vision extremely blurry. It only persisted for a little while. I walked around the town. There was a street that was designated to roadside shops. I walked down it, browsing for something. I don't know what. Again there was another blur I don't remember, but after that I tried to get away from the town, because it was a bad place to be. There was a path that led up into the country-side that I walked up. And it winded into a crevice. I continued following the path through the crevice. After some walking, I turned the corner, and there was a large gate. It was a wall of aluminum that kind of opened up like a garage. There was a guard on top that said "No passing through," so I turned around. It was dinner time, so I went back to that pub/bar. My friend Kevin was there. I asked what he wanted for dinner. He said "I'll have water.. and a bass guitar." I didn't question it. I ate. He drank his water. After, we went to this auditorium. There was a TON of people here. I'm pretty sure the whole town gathered up. I sat in the audience and Kevin went backstage. It turned out to be a talent show. A bunch of acts played but the only one I remember was this kid with dreads who's last name was Hoody. He was a rapper. He did pretty well, and used his last name in a few lines. It was interesting. He looked at me after every line. I was in the front. So I wasn't sure if it was just because I was in the front, or because he just felt like looking at me. It was kind of creepy. Then there was another hazy part that I don't remember. The next thing I remember was that I still had the desire to leave the town. I went to the coastline/beach with my friend Kevin. I figured we could swim away in the ocean. Right when I set foot on the water, four or five policemen popped up out of nowhere in what looked like to be some advanced jet skis and prevented us from going in. Another blur happened. I went to these giant docks (what looked like a harbor,) and got on a battleship. I was standing on the very bow of the battleship, and it pulled out of port. I saw this as a way of escape from that piece of garbage town. After a few minutes of riding the waves, the huge guns behind me turned to starboard side and started firing. I couldn't really see what it was shooting at, but the sound and smoke knocked me down a little bit. It was kind of like getting flashbanged, but not as intense. A torpedo hit the side of the boat, and it went down, I jumped off the other side of the boat before it tipped and nose-dove into the water. I was a couple hundred feet underwater for some reason, and the boat came down on top of me. Suddenly, I was back riding the battleship again. And the same exact thing happened. It was as if I respawned. The torpedo hit the battleship, but this time, I jumped off the opposite side I had before. I lived. I saw the ship go down, underwater, and it seemed to be on fire underwater. Smoke was billowing from it. I swam to the surface, and woke up. Analysis: I'll go deeper into this later. I have to go take an exam.
Late November (2008): I have had several lucid dreams lately where I have been flying. I think I'm only partly lucid because all I can think of to do is fly (I'm not thinking fully like I do in real life or a really good LD). I don't have very good memories of these dreams, only that something triggers lucidity and I RC by flying. I do remember in one dream I was flying over a beach. In another dream I was flying to the top of this stone henge looking thing. In another I was flying down a street trying to go faster but not having much luck. I feel like I have been flying so much lately that it seems like I should be able to do it in real life too. Like I'll be looking up at something and suddenly think how easy that should be to get to...how I can just imagine what it would feel like, look like, to fly right up to it. Things look so much closer, more tangible. It's neat and weird. I kind of like it.
Old LD from 1-26-08 Lucid dream 1: I didn't quite WILD. But I drifted into a dream immediately. I was with my mom in the kitchen. She had her sewing maching on the table. I was talking to her, but I started to sense things were not right. I questioned it and realized that I was in a dream. I continued to watch my mom, she was jumping all around and acting like a kid. I wondered why I didn't pick up on the fact that it was a dream before this point. I thought, "Now's the chance to do a lucid task of the month". I decided to start with the basic. I was about to ask her what my New Year's resolution should be....but then I "woke up." It didn't take me long to realize that this was a False Awakening. I don't remember where I was, but the next thing I remember was that I was flying. I could see beautiful red cliffs all around me. I flew for a few minutes then I saw a guy on the ground. He was standing by a trailhead and reading a sign. I started to land by him. At first he seemed surprised to see me flying. But then he knodded as if figuring out that I was lucid dreaming. I reached out my hand and he started flying after me. He was in his twenties and had dark hair that was receding a little. I could see the ocean in front of us. I flew over some hills and saw the land drop out from under me and I was now flying high over the beach and soon over the water. I started sinking a little and was slightly nervous that I was going to end up in the water. But then I had confidence that even though I'd go low that I would still stay above the water. I looked behind me and saw that the guy didn't want to come over the water. I turned back and went to where he was standing. I then remembered to try the task again. So I asked him what my New year's Resolution should be. I had no idea what he was going to say. I was very curious. He finally said to me, "Your New Year's Resolution....you should ratify your drinks." I said, "What does that mean? And what do you mean by 'drinks'--I don't drink. I don't get it". I wasn't really satisfied with that because I didn't understand it. So I looked around. I saw a boy with dark curly hair that looked about 12. I asked him what my N Y's resolution should be. But he wouldn't answer. Then for some strange reason I decided to kiss him (I have been doing that in LDs lately...age doesn't seem to matter...it's like I'm just curious to see what it's like to kiss dream people). But as I closed in he was like a ghost. I couldn't make contact. So I went and found a group of little girls that looked about 6 years old. I asked them what my NYR should be. Then I felt I needed to clarify. I told them that NYRs would be things like, "I will exercise more regularly this year"...or "I will eat healthier" and things like that. But then one of the girls started crying over something, and I went to comfort her. She looked like Lana from Smallville when she was little. I told her that she was a very beautiful little girl.

[Wednesday, 19th, 2012] [After Midnight- before I had fallen asleep] I turned off the lights, turned on the LSD dose from iDoser (a binaural beat that induces a drugs effects), and lied down with headphones. I folded a shirt over my eyes and I zoned out and began counting down from 847. After awhile I became more and more relaxed, letting my mind become numb... I would recount numbers and forget where I was and restart at random numbers- this is when I knew I was in a trance. I felt detatched slightly... and tried imagining something. I imagined myself in a blank white room. Suddenly a potted plant appeared in the center. It grew and grew and grew until it became a Venus Fly Trap plant of giant proportions. It ate "me". But it was just the body, the vessel, for my consciousness- I understood this and made a new one, and walked up to the plant. "You are simply a creation of mine and you cannot hurt me. I love you because I created you." The plant did not try to hurt me again. I walked through the wall to the left with such force, it shattered reality. The scenery outside the white room was a beautiful beach scene; the sun just setting a dark red velvet and vibrant orange against a dark navy sky and ocean. I was high in the air, far above the smooth sand or the water, but I was walking on air, on invisible pulsating steps. I walked a distance and then decided to travel along the pulsating steps like monkey bars. I dropped down so that my hands could hold on to the level where my feet just were and I pulled myself along as if they WERE monkey bars. Still pulsating a clear crystal light. At that moment I reinvented the scenery. I was in a blank room again, but this time I was seated behind a table. I invited my subconscious and/or dream guide to appear and they did. Four figures walked in through the door instantly and each took a seat on the opposite side of the table. I made note of their appearance first... on the far left was a fiery feline female with fiery-colored hair, a mix of orange, red, and yellow. Second, was a huge muscular, black-iron-armorered figure with a fiery green skull with flames licking high into the air. Third from the left was a human walking-stick. Almost simply put, a bamboo man. Just a stick of bamboo going straight up into the air. Last, on the very right- I couldn't make them out very well. It was as if they were invisible, and I could only sense their Galka like presense. I announced the reason for this gathering first, speaking in a pronoun that was mixture of I and We: "I/We are in a state of great confusion and despair. I/We are broken and must do something. We must become one, and work together to solve the problems we face." I stopped after the sentence and asked if anyone would be willing to finish my sentence due to how cloudy my conscious mind was. The 1st aspect chimed in and tried to finish, as my conscious mind jumped into her body- I saw from her eyes and began to talk... but trailed off, most likely because I, without meaning to, took control of her. Someone else chimed in right after, it was the 4th invisible Galkan aspect... I don't remember what he said, but it was full of force and meaning... and it made perfect sense. After he finished I stressed the importance of lucid dreaming: "It would be beneficial to US to lucid dream. We could solve a great deal from it and the daily link between all of us. We need to lucid dream." I was conditioning all of us- we all knew that I was hypnotizing the whole room. I was strengthening the importance of my conscious mind being present in dreams. After this I asked: "Okay, so who are you?" I was referring to each individual aspect of me. The first, the female aspect spoke up immediately: "I'm your female side, and I'm the one who emits light! I keep you on track and keep you afloat with joy!". I believed every word she spoke. I turned my attention to the stick. It radiated the answer: "I am your intellect. Your intelligence. The one who collects wisdom and shares it with everyone here." I couldn't sense a strong color from him. The next to speak was the ghostly presense of the armored man. He spoke something like this: "I am the one who keeps you alive. I know what you need- I make the hard decisions that benefit you, that you don't want to make." I understood. He was the line that knew when he was crossed. I looked at the invisible aspects seat- but never got an answer. "Are you my dream guide?" There was no reply. I was thrust back out of my imagination and into reality. I could feel a slight tingling sensation all over and I felt slightly detatched from my body. Thinking about this re-inforced my attatchment and I was back in my room again, listening to the vibrations in my headphones. I lied there for awhile and until the crackling in the headphones that's ALWAYS there kind of made my neck-hairs stand and I had to sit up. I sat up slowly and looked around. I could DEFINITELY feel something. The room was dark, but I could see exceptionally well. The clock on the wall was stretching and breathing. The whole room was stretching and breathing! I put my hands up in front of my face and I can't explain how alien my movements were... I felt like I was viewing from far, far away. I looked down at my blanket and it resembled a tangled mess of brain. The light coming under the door pulsated gently a light green mixed with turqoise. The patterns on the pillow moved like vines- just like in Fear and Loathing's Casino Carpets. The wall to my right was Tiger striped; shadows dashed ever-so-carefully across the white. The entire room was a calming, breathing dark mess of storage- it was new to me, as if I had never been there before. I brought my hands up to my face again, not exactly sure what I was doing, and I drew a cross on my left palm with my right index, then drew a circle on my right palm- then I clasped my hands together gently. The dose still going on- I got impatient and took my headphones off. I heard a noise that did NOT exist in real life. My computer was making it... it sounded as if it was some sort of alien technology... making vibrating laser beam sounds. Like a woobawoobawoobawooba, but much faster and much higher pitched. I knew it was just my brain being confused from the binaural beats, but it was still fun to listen to. I crawled across my bed and crawled into the computer's chair and turned the screen on... after a few seconds of another strange feeling, I sobered up and typed this.
My dreams last night where dull. First I got into an arguement with my wife about her getting mad at me for things she thinks I'm thinking. Then that arguements ran off onto my friend as if he was the one it had started with. It wasn't anything to go into, I think the aggression and poor recall was a result of me going to sleep drunk. Instead of writing down these dreams, I wanted to do something different today! I want to record one of my most meaningful dreams that I can recall. It lasted about two minutes probably, it didn't take long to show me what it wanted to show me. This dream was one of my stepping stones in the practice of LDing, it taught me a phrame of mind in the form of an analogy. The dream was simply this; I was standing in front of a window. The window was three times my highth, and had quite a marvelous look to it. Stained glass, with red, blue, green, yellow- all shimmering from whatever was behind it. There was nothing to my left, nothing to my right, nothing below me or above me. All there was, was this window. I didn't know exactly what was going on. All I knew at that point was I did not want to be here. Something about this place made me know deep down that I did not want to be standing here any more. But what was I supposed to do? It was a beautiful thing that was stopping me, am I supposed to move past it? The answer was yes, I needed to move past it. I leaped towards the glass surface with a good jump and shattered all the way through it. I wasn't met by a ground on the otherside, but I began to float in the clouds above the ocean. So much open space, so much fresh air. I started flying through the clouds with a sense of freedom. I could still see the window that was locking me in darkness as I turned to look, so I kept flying. It was one of the most beautiful and peaceful moments of my life to be honest. I believe it was my mind teaching me that sometimes the answer to life and dreams is so simple. When there's something keeping you in a place you know you shouldn't be, break it down. You don't see it now, but there's freedom on the other side. It may look like a beautiful thing that's keeping you back, but the other side is of much more importance. This dream has helped me in a lot of my dreams, when I remember that if something isn't working- it's just me not taking the leap. Something jurassic needs to be done in order for me to understand how.
