Dream 2: There was a huge tornado coming. I was running and trying to find a place to hide. I was in the downtown area of a big city. I first ran into a building, but then saw that it was full of tools including chainsaws that I decided that I didn't want to be near when the wind blew them all around. So I ran out again. I decided to find the biggest building I could find to hide in. I figured that would be the safest. But then I turned and saw that the tonado was just a few blocks from me. It had ripped out a huge skyscraper. I then saw the building, full of people, come crashing to the ground. I felt sick. I had just witnessed the death of so many people. I ran again to find a place to hide. At some point I had found a little girl that I was trying to protect. She had dark blond hair and was maybe 6 years old. I wanted her to be safe more than anything. I finally found a building and ran in. It was a library. I didn't like the thought of the books flying around and hitting us, but I knew that we had no time left to find a better place. I decided to remove the books on the bottom of one of the shelves and then crawl in. I had the girls squeeze in with me. Then I had this sudden fear that when the tornado came that the girl would be pulled away from me. So I unzipped my jacket and pulled her close and zipped it up again around both of us. I don't really remember what happened after that. This dream seemed to last a very long time. I do remember at some point talking to my friend Shannon about the tornado. Later I remember that I had taken care of this little boy, dark haired, around 4 years old. I had finally met up with his dad who looked like Robert Downey, Jr. I remember sitting on a bed with the boy while he was in the bathroom shaving. It seemed that the world was in total chaos and we were trying to find a way to survive.
I can't say my dream was fully lucid, as I was not able to control anything, but I did tell myself that I was dreaming in the dream, so I was at least aware of the situation. I'm driving in my SUV, and for once it isn't pedal powered. I think I left that behind with my old vehicle, which was such a pain. I'm in familiar surroundings a few miles from home, driving down one of the main roads which I have driven hundereds of times in the past. As I pass through a major interchange I find I'm paying a lot of attention to the radio where a CBS anchor is describing a storm situation ahead of me. As I listen to this suddenly available XM station I see the storm ahead of me, and something I have never seen before, a tornado touching down about a half mile ahead of me. It may have been closer(or further) for a tornado but the scale was off in my dream, one of the most annoying qualities of the dream world. I thought to myself, "Cool! I've never had a tornado in my dreams, before, I'll have to tell Jen about this." My thoughts being that Jen used to tell me about how she always used to dream of tornadoes that frightened her and I have never had one in my dream. I'm still driving closer to the phenomenon (unusual because this area is not frequented by tornadoes) when I realize I had better slow down or I'll drive right into its path. I slow and watch as the tornado crosses the road ahead of me, then procede ahead. The announcer on the radio is describing people getting hurt and tossed around and as he says this I see him with a victim of the tornado along the side of the road. He is an older man dressed in a suit, holding a Bob Barker-style microphone and kneeling down next to a man who is broken and hurt, still talking to his unseen radio audience. I drive on by, not worrying about the situation because it's not my problem (I guess) and continue another perhaps mile down the road. I find I have now gone around a curve which is not normally part of the road and I find I am also in another state, perhaps Washington, and I don't know where I am. I wonder how I got there but it doesn't seem to matter much. I'm too busy hiding from my son's friend on the side of my house. I crouch down behind the yard waste bags my neighbor has placed on the edge of my property instead of his and my son's friend, Seamus, is walking up my sidewalk. I know my son thinks he is smelly so I hide, and peek around the bag at him. I think he may see me and feel stupid so I stand up, only to discover it is not Seamus but Samuel, and I can now see my son coming up behind him. They want to play games on the PS3 and I am resistant, and this is where I lost my focus and can't remember how I got from there to the classroom I find myself in, taking a test that somehow relates to driving but doesn't. I am in a classroom with a lot of strangers, mostly Hispanic, and I feel like I don't need to be there because the test isn't required and besides, I don't really belong in this class because I didn't do anything wrong. I don't want to be there but I know that somehow I have to be there because I am required to. Fine. I'm hungry, so I venture into the adjacent room where my stuff is (backpack?) and I pull out a snack. Upon returning, I find a woman has taken my seat. I know her, somehow, but I don't know her at the same time. She is polite, and asks me something about who I am, but the answer is now lost. I know I had more dreams but I can't recall them. I do note that my standard themes continue: Storms, driving, being in school (with clothes, thankfully). I have noticed that I become edgy when it hasn't rained for a long time in the real world, and that's when the storms in my dreams become most severe. Today it IS raining and I seem fairly calm.
dream : comments : lucid 27th of January, 2012 I stayed awake for a while as Nooks prepared to go to work then took a 4mg Galantamind cap and attempted to go back to sleep. I’ve taken Galantamind twice before and it just kept me awake. This time I took it later in the morning (8:30am). It was a struggle, and took me about 40 minutes to get to sleep and I kept having really vivid almost dreams, but once I did finally doze off... Boy. The dream began as I was driving Nooks’ car. He radio was playing and she had a DVD player on the dashboard that was showing footage taken from the front of the car. In real life, her radio is broken and I somehow really easily realised that fact and did a RC. I was in. I stayed calm and happily drove along for a bit but began to lose the dream so I relaxed and prepared to DEILD. Which was extremely successful and I found myself back in the car. This time, once I’d stabilised, I put my foot down on the throttle and smashed into a wall just for funsies. As I got out of the car, I noticed the DVD screen was now showing footage of my back. As if the camera was on the side of the seat. I wondered if my brain could possibly make a real remote-view camera and waved my arms around to see if it was legit, or just emulating what I did. It was actually really effective and I’m still not sure which was the case. More testing to be done next time! I got out of the car and was at a warehouse of sorts on an empty street. I rubbed my hands along the walls and commanded for increased lucidity, which, I don’t care what anyone says, works a treat. I looked around, admiring my comfortable lucidity and lay down on the asphalt to stretch my legs out because they felt a bit weird. For some reason doing that made me aware of my waking legs and I woke up again. Did another successful DEILD and found myself lying in the same spot later in the evening. (Inception style time-dilation anyone?) I got up and picked up a large tile to ground myself and was surprised at how real exerting my arm muscles felt. I threw the tile on the ground and eventually found a woman getting into a sports car and asked her where we were. She didn’t seem keen on talking and just got in her car. I wandered around a bit more, kind of bored with my surroundings and then lost the dream again. I woke up in bed but quickly realised that it was a False Awakening. As soon as I realised that I woke up for real anyway. Man, these dreams just aren’t stable at all! I did another DEILD, this time focussing on running as I went back to sleep. It was an extremely effective method and really helped to feel the dream again. It went rapidly from thinking about running, to sort of feeling running, to fully running in blackness and finally running in a fully formed dream world. When I stopped, I found myself in a bathroom. I did a slow little turn around and noticed that the toilet was against the wall facing the cabinet. Completely useless positioning. I laughed at myself and AGAIN started losing the dream so I dove into the ground (a technique I read on here somewhere...) and found myself rolling through blank space. I came to a stop in a ball all caught up in someone’s towel rack in another bathroom. I freed myself from the snare and walked out, ignoring the naked Asian man in the bath. I found myself in a home office area with warm light coming through the curtains. I briefly woke up again but DEILDed straight back into the same room. This time heavy bass music was playing from the computer and when I turned around there was a couple having sex in a bed. “Eff this.” I thought, feeling like I was wasting good lucid time, so I went straight to the window and jumped out. Evidently this house was actually an apartment because I was about 50 meters off the ground. I looked around and marvelled and the truly surreal but beautiful landscape. It was a suburb in the early evening. Each house was totally unique and some looked like mini-palaces, bulbous Arabian domes adorned the roofs of some. In the distance a giant, grey tornado was raging and I sat in the air and watched that, impressed with my subconscious and how enormous the draw distance was. Presently, I calmly flew about (unusually easily for me) and noticed a little house. “That’s the house with the tiny Christmas town.” I thought to myself* and aimed for it. As I got closer, I began getting too low and just managed to grab the gutter and pull myself up. The roof was quite soft and grass seeds must’ve been lodged in the gaps because the whole roof was covered with a sparse, fine, bright green grass. I jumped off the roof and into the back yard, again reinforcing that this was the Christmas house. I walked into the garage and looked around, only to find a whole buttload of tools and some cluttered workbenches. I started to get upset and closed my eyes, hoping that the town would be there when I opened them but instead an old couple came into the space. I asked them where the town was. “Here!” they said and pointed to one of the workbenches. “We’re still building it.” The old lady continued. I decided I’d gone back in time and arrived before they’d built it so I dejectedly walked out. “I’ll be back in the future.” I said as the dream began to fade again. I jumped once more through the floor. Tumbling once again through blackness, I came to a stop on a similar windowsill to the one I’d previously jumped from in the naked Asian's house. I flew back out and saw a very similar suburb. This time I flew over to a highrise building and looked in a window where I saw a bunch of East German looking thugs. I turned away and, looking down, saw I was at least 300 meters in the air. “Sweet!” I thought and screamed down to the ground at enormous speed. I landed in a field and felt a bit pissed off at my subconscious for not letting me go to the toy town so I threw my sunglasses (which apparently I’d been wearing) at a bunch of aloe vera like plants. I couldn’t help notice how warmly the sun bounced off the leaves and the gentle swaying of the green stems in the breeze. I walked past them and, in a huff, ripped one of the leaves off and chomped into it à la Mzzck’s stabilization suggestion. It was an unreal sensation. Heavily plant flavoured and really juicy and crunchy. The mass of different experiences thoroughly grounded me in the dream and I decided that if I couldn’t go to Toy Town, I’d sure as hell fuck shit up. I walked out onto the middle of the nearby road and jumped in front of the nearest car. The green hatchback slammed into my body, barely making me budge but crushing the metal into itself. I smirked and threw the car onto its roof. The woman driving began slowly pulling herself out of the smashed window saying “You can’t do this...” so I punched her in the face. As the next car approach I jumped to the side and pushed it into the green car sending both of them careening across the bitumen. Another car came, this time swerving around me. As it drove off I turned to it and raised my arms, forcing it telekinetically to flip over into a ditch. I think I may have been laughing this whole time, but that’s a bit weird so let’s pretend I wasn’t. A motorbike this time. The rider veered past me and tried to race off but I again turned and, with a small gesture, sent he and the bike flying into the air. I’ve never had such control over powers in dreams and, though I was having fun, I began to feel a little bad for my DC’s at that point and decided to stop. I turned back around and saw a woman riding a motorbike toward me. I stopped her and asked her name. She replied some strange sounding name (which I tried really hard to remember but can’t!) and took her helmet off. She was quite pretty and looked Scandinavian, without the mannishness. I asked her name again and she replied with a completely different one then giggled and tried to make it seem normal by saying “I have two names. They’re both my names.” I got unreasonably annoyed at this and told her that was stupid and that she couldn’t even make an effort to remember her first name. I picked her up and lead her to the side of the road and began making out with her. I noticed a strange juicy fungus growing on the ground and picked that up and took a bite. “Gross!” she said, but I explained my reasoning and she seemed okay with it. We kissed a bit more and then I realised that it should definitely have been Nooks, so I looked away and back to find her lying there instead. I lay down and found a little red heart-shaped bean on the ground and bit into it. It was really hard and crunchy. We kissed some more and then I ate some sand to see what that was like. It was pretty gross. Nooks and I got hot and heavy for a while and had some sweet lucid lovin’ before I decidedthat it had gone on long enough and if I didn’t wake up now I’d start forgetting everything. So with that, I woke up, wishing I’d completed at least one of my goals (I should’ve Fus Ro Dah’d some of those cars, man!) but overjoyed at how successful my lucid had been. *when we went looking at Christmas lights last year, a house we visited had an amazing town of miniatures set up. The buildings and characters and scenery was so awesome, it re-invigorated me to pursue lucid dreaming with all I had. It's what prompted me to join DreamViews and shrinking myself so as to visit and play around in it remains my driving goal.
Driving, lots of it. Specially since I made my cross country trip to see family a few years back. I'd had them before.... but not to this extent (varying environments, once i've not even seen). I'll get aerial views, flowing out of those into me sitting in the vehicle as it goes. Its also weird there are a lot of elevated freeways that seem to be hundreds of feet in the air, definitely creeps me out to see some of the shit I just drive out without hesitation- i get the gut feeling that it may become an "oshit" moment but.... the dream just keeps going. I remember driving through mountains roads with fking snow n ice as a earthquake shook/broke it apart, some major o-shit moments there I see a lot of hotels/motels as the destinations in my dreams, occasionally really nice homes, or even rarer boarded up home/structures that I hide/hold up in i'm guessing. Occasionally I do notice I'm with a few or even a small group, but rarely anyone i recognize specifically or i can even see the detail of at all. I get random shark dreams, which range from me being towed by a submarine at really high speed (like water skiing), to being at a beach and seeing them through the crystal clear water. I had a recent one where my little brother was going so far as swimming out with them (they were all g-whites btw). I remember calling him back in. He came back and then.... there was another large one just floating at the steps (we were on these concrete steps at the beach that lead into the water), my brother just hopped down the steps and landed in the water beside and just... fking pet it like a dog. I remember doing one of my "floats" through this bay and just seeing the undersides of yachts, and of course the sharks were there, swimming around all the same. There are the occasional floats I do in rivers too which are about the same. . . . . . (just got pwned by a flood of more mems) ah another driving, this time with meh mum..... x.x I hate my driving dreams that involve water, those are generally not to pleasant. There are the occasional storm ones, where i'm caught in the awe of a tornado, a large funnel that never seems to finally meet a layer of clouds, rather seems to consume the clouds above and just continue widen and grow. Zombie dreams thankfully are finally starting to be gone, they were kind of getting old honestly. Can only have so many dreams where your just running around from a mob before it gets old. Maybe if I were lucid and decided to just pwn them all it wouldn't be a problem. Sadly that just never was the case, they were awe-fully realistic in appearance in the scenarios I found myself in. Glad my instinct still manages to keep me alive in my dreams at least though XD
January 2012 Synopsis: Two tornado dreams, and a vampire I kill Note: watched too many episodes of storm chasers Storm Chase Me Im on a country winding road. At first Im on a bus with a group of friends, until the twister shows up behind us and now were in a pick up on the run. The twister follows us, surrounds us. The two in the back were supposed to be keeping track of its movement, but when I looked behind me they had fallen asleep. Who falls asleep while running away from a twister? The driver is screaming at me, he can't see where the tornado is. I'm looking at the gps on the phone, but instead of showing me the tornado, theres a spider symbol on the screen. Whats up with this spider? Its, its saying its right in front of me. I look up at the drivers head, theres on a spider on it. "stay still theres a spider on your head!" I try to flick it off and as I do I feel something bite my left shoulder, waking me up. I fall back asleep and continue to dream of tornados. This time I'm outside my apartment, but the neighborhood is completely wrong. Im talking to mom on the cell about my tornado dream, but then I see something on the main road. Its whispy and transparent, but its a tornado. I get off the phone and run to sis. I don't feel safe staying in this wimpy apartment, we've gotta move. Sis agrees so we get in the car and try to outrun the tornado growing every moment. But the tornado seems to follow us and leaves us on a mad chase all over the city. At one point we tried to hide in a closet - but it was the janitors closet in the mall and they shoo'd us away. We made a giant circle around the city and finally decided to stay in our apartment. We dont actually make it to the apartment, we simply parked and took refuge in the car. I waited for the tornado to come, instead it simply fades away. Like the spider, a new enemy appeared, a female vampire. The city was dark, and she threatened to kill my sister. After some time I confront her, and told her to stop threatening my sister or I will kill her. But she continues to say shes going to kill my sister. Upset, I grab a pair of scizzors, and I warn her again that the only whos going to die is her. She threatens my sister again. So I slash her eye hoping that if I blinded her she can't kill my sister. She doesn't even feel any pain. She threatens to kill my sister still. So I chop off her head and her brain oozes out. She's an undead vampire, I've only weakened her. I put her head and oozy brain in a jar. What do I do with it? Ive got to bury it far far away from her body so it cant unite. Not my closet, I dont want to think about her head being in there. Finally I find a pool of water and bury it under the mud. I woke up soon after. That was pretty gross.

January 5, 2012 Synopsis: we take refuge from a red raging tornado, lucid, escape military and imagine a new scene - a beach Note: I woke up in the middle of the night and tried to recall the dream I just had. All I remember was that it had something to do with someone being healed. Their legs? Ayurveda? I realized now's a good time to try a lucid dream induction. I didn't, I just fell asleep instead. But its the thought that counts! Red Tornado - Calm Beach I'm walking with a group of friends in the industrial part of the city and were just having a good time. That was until I saw the red storm. "What is that? Do you see that?" A massive thunderhead was sweeping down in a funnel shape just next to the lake under the highway overpass. The storm was glowing red. And as the funnel became a tornado it was like the red was a shaft of light in its center. "We need to take cover!" There was an abandoned warehouse like building nearby. But it was also right next to the path of the red tornado. As we ran inside I thought it was strange that the red tornado was stationary. It didn't seem to be moving and it was silent. The inside of the building was weird. It was mostly empty, with dark concrete walls. Dark because of the lack of lightning, kind of like a parking garage. "There's a basement level, that'll be the safest spot" said an older man who was now leading our group that grew into 20+ people. We ran down the flight of stairs, which were really abstract. When we got down there I looked out the windows. "Why are we on the third level? I thought we were going down?" Its true, some how running down the stairs took us several floors up. We examined the staircase and determined it was missing a level or somehow that level was twisted the wrong way. We can see the ground level with the cars from way up here. Back up we go, which takes us down. All is quiet now. There's only one light on in the "living room" of this vast empty basement. Without the company of friends, this place is creepy. I don't remember why but I went down *back up* by myself - to get something or look for something. When I came back up to the basement everyone was gone. There was no way they could leave without me noticing, there's only one door and I crossed it going back up. They vanished. "Hello? Hello?" I get that strange feeling I've gotten before, they vanished because they never were. I don't want to stay here anymore, the place only feels darker. I quickly run out of the closest window, lucid. The storm is gone. Excited that I'm dreaming I observe my environment. I start with the items closest to me. The brick wall. I touch it, its gritty. There's a vase on top of a post. So shiny it looks so real! I tap on it and it makes a hollow sound. I put my palm on it and try to merge my hand into it but I can't. It feels too solid. I realized I do this a lot as a RC in waking life, and that its not a very good reliable RC for me. The military show up on the scene. What do they want? I just try to mind my own business and go the other way, into this weird cityscape that looks like a bad video game layout. But they follow me. I try to lose them and they give chase. They chase me into an area that looks like the isles of a walmart were tossed into a field, and lots and lots of boxes. Dream characters start to shout at me as the military men get closer. They're blaming, they're telling me how horrible this dream world is and its all my fault. "Get her!" I finally lose them in the field of isles and boxes. I hide underneath a table hidden by cardboard, I hope they didn't see me. I want to change this dream scene! I close my eyes and imagine the ocean instead. At first it feels like nothing is happening, I swear I'm still just underneath this table. But I give it a few moments, waiting for a cue. There. I felt it. I dunno, it just feels different. I open my eyes to a sandy strip with Hawaiians and tourists dancing. Cool. I saw people I recognized from waking life. Happy I shouted "were dreaming! were dreaming! hey, are you listening? this is a dream!". But they just nodded their head at me. I couldn't remember where I met them from, so my dream gave me dream-memories. I remembered them from a strange class. The dance is over and everyone is gathered by a stone wall. My vision blurs in and out. I can't feel the ground. There's almost no sound. I figured this was sign I could wake up anytime soon. So I didn't feel like sitting by the wall listening to some old bearded man yap on. I saw a tree with huge candy fruit of every color. I take a huge bite, but instead of something sweet, its more like a mild lemon. I woke up. Its a FA actually. I tell my sisters about my dream. My room is totally facing the wrong wall. And then I wake up for real. (or did I?)

Type: Regular Dream. Then it started to get dark and a girl in the car yelled "LOOK!" I did but saw nothing at first then I saw a tornado off in the distance. The guy driving started racing away to get away but when I looked again it was right near us! Then it tore open the car from the windshield and the girl screamed but suddenly I was not buying this dream any more. I said in a exasperated tone, "I got it" and put my hands up and held the twister and waited for it to dissipate, which it did very quickly. The skies brightened and everyone in the car made statements on how lucky and relieved they were but I was pouting. I was thinking "this stinks! Nothing in these dreams is real." When I was a kid everything seemed so real, now it's like watching a crappy black and white movie with predictable crappy plots and crappy predictable actors, blah. I awoke. "I should be focusing on the short haired girl [a reoccurring character former dreams]," I thought since it seems she really is me in some form. Type: Regular Dream. I saw her and interacted but there was nothing special about this girl. When I said telepathically {it's me} she just looked at me like I said it out loud and waited for me to follow up that statement. This girl is just another DC. Type: Regular Dream. The last dream I had, had me trying to talk to the girl when some other girl nearby whipped out a knife, and with a huge smile, stabbed me in my left shoulder where the collar bone would be! This kind of pissed me off in a "these dreams are not helping" kind of way. I looked down and the gaping slashed hole and closed it with my thoughts and shook my head and thought "this is not working." Exasperated I woke up and felt a little defeated. Notes: I have never willed someone into my dreams before so by default I instead did what I have done plenty of times, created a DC. Tonight I will try a new tactic of replaying her "roles" in my former dreams to get her essence and then call out for that.
Old LD from 3-07 I just did the Advanced Lucid Task! It started off in an elementary school. I went outdoors with another teacher and a group of kids to get something. We went out across the street and I noticed a big storm coming in. It hit us with a sudden fury. I thought that that was very unusual. I looked up at the clouds and noticed that I could see a funnel cloud starting to form. Again that hit me as strange since we don't normally get tornados where I live. Then I thought, "Could this be a dream." It actually took a few seconds before I was totally convinced. I decided to try to fly. I almost was doubting that I could because this dream felt very real-life. But I jumped a couple of times and then took off into the sky. I immediately remembered what I was supposed to be doing. I flew into some clouds, and when I flew out I could see the ocean ahead. I flew out over the ocean and came to the closest thing to an island. It was a long string of rocks and boulders sticking up out of the ocean. I looked around. I really wanted to have CoLd BlooDed, Ranma, and Oneironaut show up and help me with this since we had been talking about it. But I could see no people. The boulders were covered with an abundance of animal life. I was in a hurry to get started because when I had the dream last night I woke up before I even got a chance to land on the island. I swooped down and grabbed the closest animal--a sea turtle--and flung it as far as I could into the ocean. Then I moved on and grabbed some otters and also flung them out into the ocean. I moved along as quickly as I could flinging all manner of sea animals back out into the ocean. Then I suddenly stopped and thought, "Wait, something is not right here. Snakes....I need to be getting rid of the snakes, not otters and marine iguanas. I looked around again and saw a couple of cobras in the rocks. I grabbed them by their tails and swung them out into the ocean." I flew along the rocks until I was sure that there were no more. And I was confident that I had rid this small chain of rocky islands from all snakes. I had totally forgotten in my haste that I had planned ahead of time to use my "mind powers" to get them off the island. But I seemed to get the job done regardless. Now my lucid dream goes on, but it gets a little weird. I transistioned and was suddenly flying around inside a very large church. I was flying over people's heads, but wasn't paying them any attention since I knew that they weren't real. I came to a very large reflective glass window. I looked at my reflection. I took note of what I was wearing. I had on a really strange outfit. I had on a whilte blouse and over that I had on a white tank top with a light green camo tank top. I was also wearing a white, almost see through white skirt. I thought it was really the ugliest outfit I could possibly be wearing. I decided what I really wanted to be wearing was a pink bikini. I tried to make myself instantly be wearing the bikini. I couldn't do it. But I knew if I took off my other clothes, that I would have the bikini on underneith. I must have felt like I was in a big hurry in my dreams, because I didn't just take my clothes carefully off--I ripped them off. And sure enough, there was my cute pink bikini that I had wanted. I looked at my reflection and thought I looked good. I am embarrassed to write this but after looking at myself for a minute, I decided to take the bikini top off and see how I looked. I did, and looked at myself and thought that I looked the same as in real life. And I'm going to have to stop here....sorry...... Note: I had awakened at three in the morning. I got up for about an hour, took 50 mg of B6, then went back to be and half-heartedly tried to WILD. I had the Task fully on my mind as I fell back to sleep. And it worked.
Did that WILD I was talking about for a nap today. It worked! First WILD in about 6 months. I think I've broken my dry spell. I hope at least. I decided to take a nap and attempt a WILD. I entered SP and really it wasn't that scary. Nothing seemed to happen. I kept at this for what felt life ten minutes until I awoke in my bed. I went with the assumption it didn't work and carelessly forgot to RC. Luckily as I walked into my hallway I remembered to RC and realized I was dreaming. I didn't get too excited and decided to start simple because this is one of the most stable LDs I have ever had. I jumped down my stairs and slowly floated to the floor. As I touched the floor everything suddenly began to get blurry. I became dizzy and fell to the floor. I wasn't gonna let this dream end. I wasn't able to get up and spin due to my dizziness, but I could rub my hands together. I attempted to but my hands seemed to act like magnets and would push each other away. I was beginning to loose the dream even more as a odd void formed around the area. I quickly felt the walls to notice how realistic this really was. I couldn't believe it. I continued to feel the area around me and continued to tell myself it was a dream so I wouldn't loose my lucidity amongst the realistic objects I was messing with. Suddenly everything became clear again and I was able to continue on. I got up and watched as my cat walked up to me. I tried to pet it but it just ran away like in real life. I followed it into the kitchen to notice my family surrounding a child in a high chair. I walked up to them to realize that only my father actually looked like himself. Everyone else was completely different than anyone I am related to in reality. In real life I have a sister. No one else. So my family is made of four people. The people there were my parents, a boy a few years younger than me, and the little kid in the high chair. I asked where my sister was and they laughed telling me that I didn't have a sister. I took this chance to tell them that this was simply a dream, and they took this as funny as they mocked me and my parents walked into the other room. I was left with my brother and the kid in the high chair as I told my brother that this was a dream. I laughed at me too while I told him that I would prove it to him. I stuck my hand out and told him that I would shoot water out of my finger tips. Not only was my hand purple, but I wasn't able to shoot water out of it. My brother made fun of me as I walked over to a table with red velvet cake on it. I grabbed it and took a bite only to discover it had the most bland taste. Yeah, not the best first impression of dream food. It wasn't gross but it wasn't good. I decided to look in my hallway and saw a rocking horse in the middle of it. I looked at my brother and told him to look at it, but when I looked back in the hallway but it wasn't there anymore. Suddenly my parents told me that a tornado was coming and we needed to go in their room to stay safe. I decide to follow to see what would happen. I entered the room, but no one was in it. Suddenly the door closed behind me. I looked out of the window and noticed the tornado coming towards us. I wasn't very worried since it couldn't hurt me, but I wanted to know where my family went. Suddenly things began to fall apart. The wall was torn to pieces as the ceiling crumbled to the ground. The floor suddenly collapsed as a huge swirling portal opened below me. I wanted to jump in but the area around me was so real I couldn't believe it. So realistic. The way the house tore itself apart. Suddenly I felt something grab me. I was being drug into the portal. I attempted to fly away but nothing worked. I tried to hang onto the floor boards, but I suddenly was flung backwards into the portal. Next thing I knew I was in my bed.. awake. Okay, that dream may have seemed boring since all I did was hang with my family and then get sucked into a portal, but it was beyond cool to me. I have never had a LD so vivid, or long. WILDs are definitely the way to go to have the most vivid and long LD. Man... I wish I was dreaming right now haha!
I did a WBTB. As I lay in bed about to go back to sleep I had every intention of having a lucid dream and completing the Task of the Month of controling the elements. That positive thinking paid off. Lucid Dream: I was looking out over Lake Powell. It was dusk and the lake was mostly in shadows. I already knew I was dreaming. I wanted a better view of the lake so I made my vision rise (I say this because I was not aware of my body or myself flying). In the past I have often had difficulty viewing an area as I flew upward. But I felt very pleased the lake stayed very clear and in focus as my view of it changed. Soon I had a great view of the South end of the Lake. I could see Lone Rock, Wahweap, and Castle Rock. I remembered that I was going to do the Task of the Month. The Task is to control 2 of the 4 elements. I wanted to control water and fire, but I also wanted to try to do air. I looked at the lake and knew it would be good for the controlling water part. But suddenly I really wanted to do air first. I had wanted to try to form a tornado. And then I looked again at the lake and wondered what it would be like to make a tornado and then set it down on the water and see if I could then form a water spout. So I concentrated on a place above Wahweap Bay. I made a tornado. It was a little hard to see, but I knew it was there. I carefully lowered it down onto the surface of the water. At first I didn't see anything happen. Then I saw the surface of the water start to move in a circular pattern. Then I saw this large area of water lift and spin up into the air. And then suddenly there was a very large water spout swirling and spinning way up into the air. I felt proud of myself and considered that a success. I then took myself down to the ground and decided to start a fire with my mind. I had done that several times before and knew that I would have no problem with it. I saw that I was standing next to a stone cabin. There was a clump of dead grass in front of me. I figured that that would be a good place for a fire. I looked at the grass and willed a fire to start. Then I remembered that it was so much easier if I pointed my finger at it while I concentrated. I lifted my finger and instantly the little grass clump ignited. I just stood there for a time and watched the fire burn until the grass was completely consumed by the fire. I wanted to do more, but at this point my dream ended.
A frequent dream I've had over the years. My town is like assaulted by hundreds of tornadoes and they destroy everything. From memory there are three versions to this dream: 1) It centres around my primary school. It happens while I'm in class and the next thing I know I'm outside being CHASED by a tornado!! 2) This one happens while I'm at home: once we see the tornadoes form, my family and I rush to the tall apartment buildings near our home and hide in their cellar (for some strange reason). The building still collapses but we survive. 3) This one happens while I'm in town and driving down a road. A massive storm system forms and I take refuge in a book store. However lots of tornadoes form and begin destroying buildings. At the end of it I exit the building and drive home to find only the centre of the towns business district destroyed.
I'm sitting in my room trying to go to sleep, when I realize, I've just gone to sleep. The dream is still in it's infancy so things are just forming. I have no clue on what to do...no goal....no motivation or anything, so I head outside. Off in a distance, I see a tornado forming, and for a second I lose it and think "what if that's going on in real life". It finally touches down, and starts twirling everywhere, ripping everything up in it's path. Eventually it reaches me, and I'm standing directly in the middle of it. I looked up and made a circular motion in the exact opposite direction of the tornado, and it reversed it....causing it to suck back into itself. The clouds formed a dome, and lighting was coming out....the entire scene changed and I found myself in hogwarts.....wtf? All I wanted to do after that was wake up.
Just woke up from a very cool dream about a not so distant future flying structure that can house millions of people in emergency situations. It's shaped and moves horizontally like spindle with three orbiting rings, sort of like a space station. It can remain inside our atmosphere and make large circles around a disaster area for extended periods of time, or enter outer space if needed. It has capability of traveling very fast or sort of hovering, similar to a flying saucer. It can travel to any part of the world very quickly to reach the cite of an emergency and board people very fast. Though I never saw how people boarded the craft. It's like a giant mobile relief space/aircraft equipped with state of the art hospital facilities as well as being a mobile city, with restaurants, theaters, shopping, and living areas. In my dream a huge tornado devastated a city built up along this huge cliff over the sea, and the infrastructure was severely damaged. The areas that weren't wiped out by the storm were in danger of collapsing into the sea. So the satellite, which was what I called it in the dream, flew onto the scene and quickly loaded people to get them to safety or the medical care they needed. The craft not only provides emergency medical care to injured survivors, but also removes anyone else, injured or not, from the disaster area...keeping it uncluttered and providing the opportunity for quicker rebuilding of the damaged areas. It will take action and come to the relief in any disaster situation, natural like storms, earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis...but also terrorist attacks and such. Keeping injured people and survivors clear of ground zero affords better rescue efforts and more efficient clean up and rebuilding by government services. Somehow I have no doubt that something like this will exist in the not so distant future. I was aboard the craft, sitting in a huge open space that was sort of like the food court at the mall, but larger and fully lined with windows to see out to the clouds. An enormous movie screen was playing the latest pixar movie, while other smaller screens on the side of the large screen had such things as sports, news, etc. for others to watch. Everything was very clean and bright and futuristic.
this is a dreaam i had a VERY LONG time ago. I was in a street with a girl and a guy i dont know. There were small tornadoes about the size of 2 houses stacked atop each other. We were running away as the tornadoes ripped through houses as bricks of the houses swirled in the winds. there was a tornadoe following us and we ran faster until the guy pressed a button and we teleported
May 31, 2011 Lucid Dream 238: Funeral Fun Series: Friends, Episode 13 DILD I was at a funeral and all of my classmates from high school were there. For some reason, the funeral was taking place on the front lawn of my childhood home. Apparently, a girl from my class had died. It was "CW," a girl who only attended my school for a single year. Me, Cliff and a group of girls we knew, were walking around looking at the flowers and pictures and whatnot. The girls seemed uninterested in everything and were laughing and making jokes. I could see some close friends of CWs sitting on the porch, looking at the laughing girls with disgust. I walked over to the porch and sat down with them. I commented on how disrespectful some people could be and started talking about CW. I told them that I didn't know the details of her death and I asked what had happened to her. They told me she had wrecked her vehicle into a creek that was only a couple feet deep. Her pants were hung on the luggage rack, so she was trapped underneath the vehicle and drowned. One of the guys sitting there, GL, got up and dramatically acted out what had happened on a nearby vehicle. He hooked his belt loop through the luggage rack, clutched his throat, acted as if he was struggling to catch his breath, and then let his body go completely limp. It was quite an unusual scene, but somehow I stopped myself from laughing at his antics. Suddenly, I was now back in my old high school. My friend Ryano looked at me and said, "Lets get lucid!" I was a bit startled by this sudden comment and looked around my environment. I realized that I definitely shouldn't be in high school. I knew I was dreaming. I got out of my desk and walked out into the hallway. The teacher was yelling at me to come back in the room, but I ignored her. I ran down the hallway and noticed an extremely attractive girl sitting in the lobby. Knowing I couldn't fail, I purposely said the cheesiest line I could think of, "Are you ok? You didn't hurt yourself when you fell from heaven, did you?" She smiled at me as if I was the smoothest dude on the planet. I then decided to throw out my friend JTs drunken pick-up line, "Hey, you wanna f*** me?" With emphasis on the "f*** me." She stood up and began kissing me. I picked her up against the wall and slid "myself" inside her. Suddenly music began playing in the background. It was a very slow and romantic song and the lyrics went, "Now, now ba-by...love don't hurt...now, now ba-by...love don't hurt." I thought it was a bit odd, but I kept pounding away anyway. The dream started to fade, so I stopped and stabilized. I decided I was done with pointless sex and wanted to do some wall running, matrix-style. I took off running along the nearby wall and then jumped to the adjacent wall and began running along it. All in one smooth transition without touching the floor. I continued wall running up and down the halls. A few times, I lost my balance and had to start over. The bell rang and students began flooding the hallways. I decided to get a little mischievous. I started flying around kicking people, tackling random people, and even stopped to make-out with a pregnant chick, lol. At one point, I noticed I was wearing really tight spandex super hero pants. I started floating around the hallways shouting in a cliche super hero voice, "Make room for Captain Yoshi!" People began taking pictures of me and letting out some cliche "ooooohs" and "aaaaahhhs" as I posed in cliche super hero poses . The dream faded soon after and I wasn't able to hang on to it. June 5, 2011 Lucid Dream 239: The Not So Shared Dream Experience Series: Friends, Episode 14 DILD I was sitting in a room with my friends Mike and Diddy. We were talking about lucid dreaming and Inception. I told them we should try to share a dream. I explained to them how to WILD. I then laid down on the couch and they both just laid in the floor. I closed my eyes and almost instantly, started seeing through my eyelids and sat up on the couch. Mike and Diddy were still asleep in the floor, so I woke them up and told them we were lucid. I told them to follow me. They got up and I dove head first out of the nearest window. We flew around in the sky for a bit and then landed in a large field. I asked them, "What should we do?" Mike said, "What do you usually do?" I replied, "I dunno, I usually do random things like make tornadoes, or fight things, or f***." Diddy wanted to make tornadoes, so I held my hand out and acted as if I was a powerful wizard. I shouted, "Come forth! Demons of the sky!" Suddenly, the sky got dark and lightning started flashing. A funnel cloud formed and touched down at the other end of the field. I held out my arm, concentrated on the twister, and started moving it across the field. As I slowly moved my arm, the tornado moved along with it. It seemed to lag behind my motions quite a bit though. I sent the twister into the surrounding woods. Trees were being uprooted and tossed around the area. Mike and Diddy summoned their own tornadoes and they started dueling with them. They were trying to bump each others tornado out of the field and into the woods. Mike's tornado had a red tint to it and Diddy's had a green tint. I then brought my tornado around and back into the field with theirs. I challenged both of them to a 2-on-1 twister battle. As their tornadoes approached mine, I split my tornado in two, by holding out both arms together and pulling them apart. I then moved the two twisters on either side of the other ones, and pinched together, swallowing them up in the process. The four tornadoes had combined to create one massive tornado that was under my control. I slung it through the woods with my arm, and it left a trail of destruction behind it. I told Mike and Diddy to follow me, and then I took flight. I flew directly at the massive tornado. Mike and Diddy shouted from behind me, "What are you doing?" I shouted back to them, "We are going to fly into it, come on!" I approached the tornado and could feel the wind resisting my flight. I was now flying in slow motion as I got closer and closer to the twister. As soon as I touched the funnel cloud, I was sucked into it. I caught a quick glimpse of Diddy and Mike as I spun around and around the twister in a violent manner. The wind was intense and my vision began to blur. I suddenly woke up on the couch that I had fell asleep in. I woke Mike and Diddy up and we started talking about how awesome the dream was. I was thinking, "I actually shared a dream...that was awesome!" A few moments later, I woke up in my bed and realized I had actually been dreaming the entire time and hadn't really shared a dream. June 5, 2011 Lucid Dream 240: Yoshi, The Train Conductor Series: Friends, Episode 15 WILD After writing down the previous dream, I headed back to bed. I felt SP kicking-in, so I just went with it. The transition was fairly short. My body started floating above my bed and I could hear some static and muffled conversation. After a bit, I saw through my eyelids and everything had stopped. I new I had transitioned into the dream. I saw someone walking toward me and noticed it was my friend Deej. I sat up in my bed and noticed he looked super pissed. He pointed his finger in my face and said, "If I was your parents, I'd whip your ass!" I laughed and said, "What the f*** are you talking about? Lets go fly!" He seemed to snap out of it and followed me out onto the back deck. We both took off running and leapt into the air. We flew around for a bit, but I was struggling with my flight control. I seemed to move perfectly in straight lines, but my turning was very slow and unresponsive at times. After a bit, we both landed on the road side. I told Deej I was going to pull a Kobe and jump over the next car that went by. I tried to imagine a car coming around the corner, but it didn't work. Suddenly, Deej shouted at me and told me to turn around. I turned around and saw a train coming up the road. It was a very odd sight to see a train riding through a neighborhood. I waited until it was just in front of me and I jumped into the air. I only jumped about half the height of the train, so I kicked off the front of the train to get an extra boost. I landed on top of the train and turned toward the front. I held out my arms and felt the wind blowing into my face. It felt really awesome. I looked around and noticed there were many bars on top of the train that looked like handles. I crouched down and grabbed two of the handles and began steering the train around the neighborhood. I could feel the physics of the entire train within my grasp. It was really cool how heavy it felt when I turned, and how I could feel the many cars behind me slowly following suit. I looked back and never saw the end of the cars. This train was huge. I decided to try and make it fly. I pulled up on the bars with everything I had and the front of the train lifted off the ground a bit. It was crazy heavy and I could feel the weight of the train in my grip. I pulled extremely hard again and this time I managed to lift the first few cars off the ground. I woke up as I strained to lift the rest of the train.
