    1. My First Lucid

      by , 07-31-2012 at 12:16 AM
this was years ago; i think 2005-ish. I was in my early twenties. I had a string of lucid dreams that were not induced... they just sort of happened. This one was the first and most memorable.

I was in Boston walking past the mouth of the big tunnel. Suddenly a coach bus went by going impossibly fast, careening between the lanes until it lost control and flipped over. When it entered the tunnel- sideways and on its roof- it took out dozens of cars and people (who for some odd reason were standing in the tunnel).

i went into the tunnel to look at the damage, and i saw a whole bunch of people flattened out on the road like pancakes... there was no blood or gore, they were just flattened into ten foot circles. It was then that i realized i was dreaming, and as i looked at them i began to laugh hysterically.... which , of course, woke me up.

    2. More Fragments

by , 07-14-2012 at 02:44 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
When I woke up, I couldn't remember any dreams from last night. After a few minutes or so, I started to vaguely remember a couple fragments. It took me awhile, but I think I've managed to recall all that I can. I still can't remember any of them too clearly, but I'll write down what I can, and I'll try my best to keep them in order.

      1. This one I can remember fairly well. I was playing some sort of computer game. However, my field of vision was limited to what was on the screen (as if it were actually there in front of me rather than on a screen) - the only way video games ever seem to work properly in my dreams. It was one of those point-and-click adventure games. On the screen for the main area at the beginning, there were at least three different paths I could take. One led to an underground tunnel, one led to the basement (which was actually below the tunnel for some reason), and one, in the bottom-right corner of the screen, went to some kind of storage room or something.

I selected the tunnel, but I couldn't continue because it was too dark, so I went to the storage room to get a lantern, which I brought back to the tunnel and just... left it there. Then, I went to the basement instead. I encountered the same problem here - it was too dark. I went back to the storage room for another lantern, but there wasn't one. I checked my inventory screen in case I had one (or anything else I could use for some light), but all I had was some milk and some other stuff I can't remember. I went back to the basement anyway and found that there was an electric light already there, so I switched it on.

      2. My mom and I were in this little convenience store. I was hungry. We were waiting for my dad and my brother to arrive so we could have supper, since the store had like a mini-restaurant area where you could order pizza and ice cream. That closed at 8 PM, and the store didn't sell any other food (what kind of convenience store doesn't sell food?!), so, when my dad and brother finally arrived, we had to go find somewhere else to eat.

      3. My friend had a giant hotdog. It looked to be about two or three feet long. She offered to share it with me, since she didn't want to eat the whole thing, but I said I didn't want any of it.

      4. This one was actually fairly clear. For some reason, I had to go find a bunch of items, like a scavenger hunt. My brother did, too, but we weren't working together; we were doing it separately. My dad somehow knew what I was supposed to be finding, so he would help me by giving me hints. I remember having to get the Stone Mask (from the Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask). For some reason, it was on the living room wall, as were a bunch of other masks. I couldn't reach it because it was too high up, so I stood on the arm of the chair and reached it from there. I wish I'd realized that this wouldn't have worked IRL - in the dream, the window was a few feet to the right of where it should be, and I think the chair was a bit to the left, but, in real life, I only would've been able to reach the window, not the wall. Anyway, I got it. Wearing the mask, I went onto the deck to show my dad. He waved at me, and I told him he wasn't supposed to be able to see me while I'm wearing the Stone Mask (in Majora's Mask, it actually does make the wearer invisible).
    3. Battle With Steggies; A Different Perspective (March 16, 2012)

      Battle With Steggies

It seems this dream started out inside a city. It wasn't like a modern city though, it was more ancient. It was most likely built like a medieval city. I was walking down a stone path in the middle of the city with my dream guide, the old man. Oddly, the streets were empty. He said something about the city being under attack and was guiding me towards the city walls. When we reached the walls, we climbed a set of stairs to the top to get a good view. Over the wall I could see a vast desert and some mountains off in the distance. Not far away from the wall I saw Chris, Claire, and a bunch of monsters surrounding a hole in the ground. Chris and Claire were in an intense battle with the monsters.

After seeing 3 dream guides, monsters, and a battle happening, I started to think for a second.
I quickly became lucid and everything started making sense. "Ha, I hardly had to say anything this time," the old man said. I believe this was a reference to his ways of helping me reach lucidity. When I looked back at the battle, I started to worry a little about Chris and Claire. "I should go help them," I said, preparing to jump over the wall. "Stay here," he said, "We have everything under control. There's no need to put yourself in danger."

I stepped back and watched for a few seconds. It was starting to look like we were losing. I also didn't feel comfortable about not helping them out. Despite what the old man said, I ran forward and jumped over the wall. I morphed into a white dragon and started to fly towards them. "Dragonborn!" the old man shouted, "Come back! It's not safe!" I didn't care about what he said or how dangerous it was. I just wanted to help them.

When I flew over the hole where the battle was taking place, I got a better look at the monsters. They were small little dinosaurs with golden spikes. Kind of like a mini stegosaurus, but carnivorous. I'll just call them steggies for now. I dove down and breathed fire on a group of steggies that were surrounding Chris. I landed outside of the hole, next to Chris, and felt a sharp pain in my feet. I started hopping around in pain and looked down at the ground to see what would have caused it. Those steggies had scattered tiny golden thorns all over the ground. It was really annoying at first, but I learned to deal with it.

Chris jumped back a distance away from the steggies and summoned his bow. He then proceeded to snipe steggies that were surrounding me and Claire. Claire was fighting them off with her sword and lots of lightning. I was mostly just breathing fire and smacking steggies around with my tail. It was hard to fight them because of their sharp teeth and protective spikes. With each one we killed, more would just crawl out of the hole in the ground.

I switched to using ice magic to see if that would work better. Using my ice breath, I was able to freeze large groups of steggies that Claire could easily break apart. It still wasn't enough though and more and more of them just kept coming out of the hole. Eventually the steggies cornered the three of us together and surrounded it us. "Get down!" I yelled to Chris and Claire. I activated fury mode for a few seconds and used the energy to fuel my lightning magic As soon as they ducked down I released a huge wave of lightning in all directions. The spikes on the steggies acted like lightning rods and zapped the hell out of all of them. We killed them all, but I lost my dragon transformation out of it.

Now that there were no more steggies on the surface, I decided we should try to find the source. The three of us jumped down the hole together and landed in an underground cavern. I could then sense the energies of the steggies and could feel them in the walls. They then started crawling out of the cave walls and we started running. At this point there really wasn't a plan anymore and we just wanted to get away. I could see a light up ahead and knew we were almost out of the tunnel. Near the end of the tunnel though was a trap. It was a spiked wall slowly descending from the roof of the tunnel.

I slowed down a little bit to try to stop the steggies while Chris and Claire ran ahead. I shot a few flames down the tunnel and then started running again. By the time I reached the trap it was low enough that I would have to slide under it. I dove towards the ground and slid a few feet, but it only got me about half way through. I quickly started crawling towards the other end as the spikes got closer. When I was far enough, Claire grabbed my hands and pulled me out before it could impale me.

When I exited the tunnel I was standing in a field. I also completely forgot about Chris, Claire, and the steggies for some reason. There was a house in the field, so I walked over to check it out. There were many family members inside the house and they were having some sort of reunion. I got into an argument with my mother about something but I can't remember. After the argument I saw some people grab some wands off a shelf and walk outside. I looked out the window and saw them tossing a ball back and forth with wands. It looked fun and got my attention, so I grabbed a wand off the shelf and went outside.

I followed them out to the field where they had 4 bases and a pitching mound set up. For some reason I didn't feel like they would want me to play, so I sort of just casually walked into the outfield. I was trying t look like I was already part of the game. The game started shortly after and everyone moved into position. The pitcher levitated a baseball off the ground with his wand. He then flung the ball towards the batter. The batter swung his wand and knocked the ball back with a magic blast.

The ball was flying fast towards me and I started running back to try to catch it. I stuck my wand in the air and tried to catch it with a telekinesis spell. I managed to pull the ball towards me, but I accidentally dropped it. I levitated the ball off the ground with my wand again and tried launching it back towards second base. I somehow threw the ball at the wrong angle though and it flew towards third base instead. The ball hit the catcher at third base in the head and knocked him out. "Sorry! New guy with a new wand!" I yelled back at them. They decided to cancel the game right after that and help the guy out. I decided to walk away and pretend nothing had ever happened.

I also decided that I should get some more practice with the levitation spell. I saw a small chest lying in the field and used that for practice. I swished my wand and flicked it while saying, "Wingardium Leviosa!" It slowly levitated a few feet above the ground and was a little shaky. I tried to lift it to face level, but it fell back towards the ground. I got a little frustrated that it failed and started to think about what I could do better. I then remembered how the Lumos didn't work, but my own Illumina spell did. I flicked my wand towards the box and shouted, "Levitate!" this time. It wasn't a fancy word, but it worked. I had much more control over it this time and could easily lift it up and down over my head.

Out of nowhere I remembered Chris and Claire again. I realized that they might still need my help. I looked around the field and tried to find another entrance to the tunnels that we were in before. I found a small hill with a hole in it and I knew that was the cave i was looking for. I ran into the tunnel and looked and looked around for Chris and Claire. I ran into a few more of those spike traps from before, but I just rolled under them. I ahead I could see a large room where a bunch of men in robes were gathering around in a circle. I could also see Claire passed out on the ground. I started running faster and there was just one more spike trap to get past. When I tried rolling under this trap though, something grabbed my foot and tripped me.

I looked down and saw a red rug under me that had wrapped around my foot. I tried to untangle it, but the rug came to life and started to attack me. It wrapped itself around me and started choking me. To make it worse, the spikes were still getting closer to me. I remembered the spell I had just been practicing earlier and tried to apply it to the rug. I shouted, "Levitate!" as I tried to wriggle my hand around. I then unwrapped the rug around me with the spell and and flung it up into the spikes. I tried crawling out from under the spikes, but there wasn't enough time. Right when I felt the spikes touch my back, someone grabbed my hands. I was quickly pulled out from under there and saved. It scratched the hell out of my back a little, but I was alive. The person who had saved me was Claire again. The dream pretty much faded away at this point.

      A Different Perspective

I think this dream might have been a DEILD. Mostly because it was very similar to the last dream and I was lucid right from the very start. In this dream I wasn't really myself, but I was Claire. I was running through the tunnels again. This time I was trying to be a little more stealthy at first. I was still spotted though and these guys in blue robes started attacking me. There were maybe 15 of them. I used super strength to kick and punch them hard into the walls. It wasn't anything fancy and I just kept super punching and super kicking them. Sometimes I would use super speed to teleport to their positions and hit them hard.

After I fought off all of these guys I came into a large room. It looked just like the one I saw at the end of the last dream. It was empty though. Suddenly, a bunch of doors appeared in the walls and men wearing red robes walked out of them. They surrounded me and a black robed figure appeared in front of me out of nowhere. It appeared to be a bunch of Draflams and a shadow man working together. I grabbed my sword from behind my back and lunged towards the shadow man. Before I could even attack, they had combined their powers and electrocuted me with one powerful lightning bolt. I fell to the ground and passed out for a moment.

When I regained consciousness, my vision was blurry. As I focused a little harder, I could see the robed men gathering in a circle. They were trying to perform a ritual and it definitely didn't look good. Some sort of weird dimensional portal appeared above them. I think they were trying to summon something. I tried to move my body around a little bit and get back up. Once I was off the ground, I felt a little better and my vision became a clearer. I knew I had to do something to stop their ritual.

I jumped between the group of robed men and charged up my lightning magic. Before they could even react, I launched a very powerful blast of blue lightning in all directions. Anything in that room the room that wasn't me was toast. It was the most powerful lightning blast I have ever produced. To be fair though, It was actually Claire's lightning blast and not mine.

At this point I could feel that the dream was about to end. I didn't really mind it so much because I thought the story had ended. I then started to hear some noises coming from another tunnel. I held on to the dream a little longer to check it out. When I looked in the tunnel I could see me fighting with the magic rug. I saw me kill the rug and me trying to crawl out from the under the trap. I ran forward and tried to help myself out. I grabbed my hands and pulled myself out from under the spike traps. The dream ended just like the last dream, but through Claire's perspective. That's a very strange thing to think about.

    4. Running from Pirates

      by , 05-09-2012 at 03:52 AM
I remember me and a friend are trying to get away from some pirates. We are on a small island sort of thing and we open a hatch into the ground and start running through a underground tunnel. Some how me and my friend get separated and lost in this maze of tunnels. I here foot steps behind me and one of the Pirates shines a flashlight on me and yells to the others "There she is!" He starts chasing me and I freak out and run as fast as I can. I come up to a ladder and climb up and out into the opening. I'm standing on a round platform in the middle of the ocean and there is no where to run. There is a metal pipe lying on the ground so I pick it up and prepare myself to knock the pirate out when he comes through the opening. The pirate pops his head out and I hit him but rather than passing out he yells "OWWW!" He looks up at me with this puzzled expression and asks "Why'd you hit me?!" I respond "Because your a pirate trying to kill me." He shakes his head "NO I'm trying to capture you, and you didn't have to hit me." I'm quite confused as to how the situation turned and made me the bad guy but I start to feel sorry and began to apologize. Then the guy is like "Whateves...my ride is here..." I turn and there is a giant cool looking Pirate ship.

That is all I can remember from my dream.
    5. Forest Institute.

by , 05-06-2012 at 08:58 PM (Meanwhile In My Dreams...)
I'm riding my back through some forest on a trail with a bunch of roots and rocks sticking out of the ground. I see Doug On his bike up ahead of me. The world Is kind of dark and and gritty, Like the Nazi Zombie maps from World At War. Dougs speeding down the trail and I'm getting a work out trying to keep up with him. Pretty soon we come to a clearing in the forest and I notice that it is night time also, but the moon is so big and bright in the sky, with a yellowish tint to it providing enough light to see in the dark. In the middle of the clearing is a huge building that kind of looks like a prison/castle, there are no fences, and there are Towers on every corner . I there are two trails, one leading to the two big metal at the front of the building and another that leads up a hill to some weird bunker looking thing. We decide to enter the building first....

Now I'm inside one of the towers, our bikes are gone, and even though the place feels kind of creepy, it doesn't seem to be threatening at all. Were at the very top and all we can see in every direction is forest. I kind of get the feeling that we are lost. There is no power or even any lights in the building. As we stare off into the distance the Bunker at the top of the hill lights up.....

Back Out front On our bikes were racing up the hill, and the path starts to dig into the ground, and dirt walls are rising. pretty soon the walls start falling again until we are level with the ground again, and couple more yards and were at the entrance to the bunker. There are light bulbs lighting up the inside, and I know for sure its a bunker now due to the Cement construct and the sand bags stacked up at the windows. We take a glance inside and see the trail keeps going down A tunnel that curves and that bulbs are on the walls in an alternating pattern. Doug then starts rushing down the Tunnel on his bike and I take off after him. After a bit the Tunnel starts to get tighter and Bumpier. I don't know how Long I rode but Eventually I just woke up.

    6. Underground near the main stream.

      by , 04-18-2012 at 06:30 PM
I and my brother stood in 'the square', a large, roughly square area of tarmac outside my granddad's house and surrounded bymultiple other two story abodes. On one of the 'sides' of the square was a speedbump, and beyond that a road that lead out into the rest of the village. The sky seems to be fairly overcast, though it isn't what you would call dark. Instantly, we both noticed something near the speedbump. There were two ramps descending into the earth on either side of it, like a path that goes under a motorway. both of us ran over to it and made our way down the ramp to the right.

We were now in a concrete path that runs under the road. It was about twenty meters long from one entrance to the other. The wall to the left of us was flat and smooth. The floor too was the same glossy, cold concrete. To the right of us though was something unexpected.

The floor continued to the right for about two meters, before dropping down. This space between this drop and the other wall was filled with a clear water, with some debris such as leaves floating in it. An arched tunnel in the wall behind the trench stretched off beyond what I could see, and the water lay there as well. An iron grating walkway went down the middle of the arch, but ended at the mouth of the tunnel. On 'my' side of the water there were the beginnings of a bridge, but the middle was missing. Presumably it was for maintenance purposes.

I and my brother made our way to another exit that had appeared next to the one opposite us. This led up, through smooth curvy passages, until we reached the 'top'.

      Scene Change

I was on a large grassy plain. Some tall cliffs surrounded the grassland, with a few spruce trees dotted here and there. The sun beamed warmly, and the sky was a deep blue. A few clouds drifted lazily across it. The most noticeable thing were the buildings that stood before me. There were about eight that I could see, but more could have been covered up by cliffs. Each was like a huge steel box, covered in huge radiator gratings. They were very futuristic, with clear cut lines and bright faces.

Then I found myself inside one of them. They appeared to be connected together, like a modular building, in one long row. I walked down them. Each had a glass window to the left of the path, usually with blue screens surrounding them. Behind the glass I could see small white space-ships hovering in a bland room, empty save for the scientists that seemed to be monitoring them.

I eventually reached some of the scientists beside a long table, upon which people were laying. A scientist explained they had just come out of the pods. Apparently people would be 'grown' in these pods instead of a womb. One by one, the scientists woke up the people and asked them their names and how they were feeling. They all seemed to be fine, and could speak fluent english.

      Scene Change

I walked up a muddy hill towards a large wooden hut , surrounded by brambles and bushes. Several bare windows lined the wall, and from each of these one of my friends dangled, seemingly as a test of strength. There were other people walking up the hill with us, and I myself walked beside the 'leader'.

Inside the hut it was quite cramped, as a second room took up the center of the building, leaving room around the outside. I walked around, chatting to people and eventually found my friend M., who I talked with about my aunt. Acording to him she had been attacked, but was fine.

      Scene Change

An old man walked with his dog up a zigzagging path. He seemed to be in egypt as pyramids and sandstone structures lined the pathway. Suddenly, a stone sphinx ran at him. He punched it and it flew into a pyramid, smashing through the wall. The sphinx then came out and threw a gigantic block at the man, but he merely deflected it with his fist, causing it to rebound and smash the sphinx to pieces.
    7. 02/16/12 Tunnels of Madness

      02/16/12

Note: I have not posted any dreams for quite a while… and that is because I haven't had any recall at all for quite a while. It has been getting very frustrating, and I really hope my recall improves soon. Combined with not having any recall, I have also been busy with homework from school and a new job. That's why my resolution to post something every day has gotten pushed aside. Well, I have finally been able to recall a dream. It's not much, but right now I am willing to take anything I can get!

      Tunnels of Madness

I am in what appears to be an underground tunnel of some kind. The tunnel is perfectly circular and is made out of a metallic substance. There is a band of light going down the tunnel, four of them. One of the lights is directly overhead, I am standing on a second, and there are lights to the right and left of me. The tunnel looks very strange, and I can't remember how I got to be here. Somehow this doesn't trigger a reality check, though. I walk down the tunnel, which seems to go on forever. Sometimes it curves to the left or right, and it does so often enough that I become really disoriented. I am wondering if the tunnel is ever going to end. The quality of the lighting changes… it is now flashing, now it looks like little balls of light are zooming down the sides of the tunnel. That is even more disorienting, they are going in such a pattern that makes it seem like the tunnel is spinning. That makes me feel like I might vomit. Instead, however, I wake up.

    8. The Awesome Street...

by , 01-12-2012 at 01:35 PM (My brain and I)
      29th of April, 2011

On a road trip with Nooks somewhere in the US.
Stopped and got out into a curious little plaza* adjacent to a road. It was a wonderful, sunny day.
We went for a stroll around the neighbourhood and noticed that all the houses were really odd. All totally unique and situated among each other unlike anything I’ve ever encountered in the dream or waking life. Some had ramparts, others were really thin and windy, lots were colourful. It was kind of Suess-ish in a more ‘normal’ way. I mentioned that it would be a really awesome place to go trick-or-treating.
Anyway, we found ourselves walking in a roughly hewn underground tunnel with dingy electric lights hanging from the roof. At some point during our walk I realised it was a dream and we exited the tunnel into a lovely green, bright forest. We went jumping around. Nooks was sitting in the grass playing an instrument– guitar or violin. I lay down in the grass and tried to shrink myself just for fun. It kind of worked but was a bit of a struggle so instead I climbed a tree to see the cool houses again but woke up.

Lay still in bed trying to get back to sleep.

Found myself climbing (literally, up the cabinets and stuff) in a kitchen and was still lucid. I ran down the hallway at speed and vaulted without a second thought over the balcony, falling at speed and crushing my car all awesome superhero style. I jogged down the street and decided to see my special door** again.
As I approached it, I woke up.

    9. 01/11/12: Tunnels and zombies

by , 01-11-2012 at 10:27 PM (New Dream Adventures of Raven Knight)
      01/11/12

      Paths to Nowhere
I am on a bicycle riding down a road in a place I don't recognize. I am thinking it is really something how I could live in a city for most of my life and still have there be so many places I haven't seen. I'm in the mood to explore for a while, so I start doing that. I ride my bike down into an underground tunnel that is going under some other streets. I hadn't realized there even was a tunnel in town! In the tunnel I notice there are several more passages branching off to the sides. While the main tunnel is large enough for a car, the side passages definitely aren't. They are large enough for a bike, however. So I start exploring them. They are all well formed circular tunnels that are lighted by lights running along the ceiling. It can be quite disorienting, and I soon find I think I'm lost. This doesn't bother me, however, as I know the tunnels can't go on forever. I find an underground shopping area and I park my bike to look around. I am quite tired and I think a nap would be nice. I find a place that has inflatable mattresses available for people to rest on. I lie down on one and snooze. I awaken to find the mattress is floating on water. I ask someone near me what is going on. She says that's why the mattresses are inflatable… because they get moved while we sleep to a new location. Damn, I think, I'll never find my bike now!

      Village of the Damned Assholes
I am in a strange place, it looks like a village out of old times or maybe out of an RPG… such as Oblivion. It is night time out, and there is very little motion in the streets. There are lights glowing in the windows of the homes but no one is venturing outside. I wander through the town for a bit and finally a door opens. A woman comes out and tells me to get off the street before they come. Who? Them, the woman points at some figures moving into the village. They look strange… and I soon see why. They're zombies. She said we need to get back inside and just let them take their sacrifices. Sacrifices?

She points at the center of town where there is a pole, like a maypole, but the streamers from the top are all chained and at the end of each of them there is a naked person chained. This is no celebration. The woman pulls me and says come on, the darga will feed on the sacrifices and leave the rest of the village alone! I push the woman away with a disgusted look and tell her that's not going to happen this time.

I go over to where the zombies… the darga… are approaching from. They pause when they see me there, clearly not expecting anyone to meet them. They continue advancing. I summon my Witchblade sword and that seems to give them pause again. Not only is someone meeting them, that someone looks ready to fight. I hear a man call at me not to do it, but I pay him no heed. I charge right into the middle of the group of zombies and cut into them with my sword. They are clearly not prepared for this, and in true zombie style, it takes them a moment to respond. By that time most of them are already dead and it is quick to finish the rest of them off. I free the people who were meant to be sacrifices.

What surprises me here is that no one seems happy about the victory, in fact, they seem pissed. Wtf? A man is cursing at me! He says I have really done it now, the rest of the darga will come for revenge, the entire village is doomed now. Ok, then I will just wait around here and kick the rest of their asses when they come. He chuckles, not believing. He says there is no way one person can fight them all, certainly not a mere woman. He is pissing me off. I tell him he has no idea what I'm capable of. I fire a blast of flames at the dead zombies and incinerate them in an instant. I add that if they are too many for me to handle alone, I also have friends to back me up… some of whom are even more powerful than me. He says I have "helped" quite enough. I think he must be a leader of some kind, as a bunch of others are joining him in telling me to leave. I am pissed at that and I tell them to go ahead and rot then… anyone who willingly hands over their own people to be devoured by zombies isn't worth saving anyhow. I turn and head out of town with jeers and curses following me. I resist an urge to turn around and level the whole place with a blast of fire. The zombies will take care of that.

I am almost out of town when I see someone chasing after me. It's the woman who tried to warn me before the fight. Unlike the others, she seems truly dismayed at my leaving. She says they won't have a chance against the darga. I tell her that's not my problem, it's clear that everyone wants me to leave… so I will comply. She says not everyone wants me to leave… she pauses… she said they're just afraid to oppose the mayor… she then quickly adds that she doesn't want me to leave. She says in fact, she would beg me to stay and help them… do I want paying? She'll pay everything she has… just please don't go… I tell her that I am not interested in payment. She says if I'm angry, it is all the mayor's fault, he is the one that thinks he is always right and responds violently to anyone who tries to oppose him and his ideas. Those who back him up are just scared. She grabs my arm and then immediately lets go as if she thinks I will attack her for doing that. I finally tell her ok, when the zombies… the darga… come back I will also be back, with help if needed. But for now I am called to my home world. I wake.
    10. 6 Jan: Power to "greenefy"

      by , 01-07-2012 at 10:16 PM (Lucid-schizo-dreamer)
I have decided to try to use my dream material for writing a few books, so I've stopped publishing most of the stuff online. I might just share a few short bits of some of my serial dreams... we'll see.

non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

Last time I was on my mission to retrieve Manjushri sword, I escaped the villains and ended up on top of a snpwy mountain with a snowboard to go downhill. On this dream I went back to that mountain top, grabbed the snowboard and down I went. The hill was quite steep, so the feeling was intense (I never snowboarded in waking life) and exhilarating. Almost at the end of hill, I was surprised by a tunnel and had no time to avoid it, so I went through it. I expectied to come out on the other side in a few seconds, but the tunnel revealed to be quite long and bumpy. The snow beneath my board melted with the friction and the tunnel became like a waterslide. My speed increased even further and the adrenaline rush spiked. I finally saw a light at the end of the tunnel and literally was ejected from the tunnel into some kind of internal patio of an industrial building. The patio was surrounded by big windows in old glass framed in steel and the roof was also made of glass, like a greenhouse. There was a large ramp in the center, sided by strange looking machines, like engines, but everything was stopped and silent. At the top of the ramp I entered a corridor that encircled the patio on the above floor. There were doors with windows to what seemed to be several labs with chemistry equipment.
I finally found a door to a back alley which was open and got out of the building. There was a plaque with the name of the company and I recognized it as one of the biggest chemical multinationals in the world. I wondered why the hell I ended up there and what I was supposed to do there. Then I remembered I was carrying Manjushri's sword, in the form of an orb I had placed inside my shirt, against my bosom, to keep it safe during my snowboard ride.
I held it on my right hand and the orb started to shift shape to form the handle of a sword. Once I had a strong grip of the handle, the blade started to appear. It was beautifully adorned and soon after it lit up in flames. I was mesmerized looking at it and afraid of abusing its power, but at the same time I felt I had the obligation to put it to good use on that place.
This sword is able to cut through the veil of ignorance and illuminate the minds. So I pointed it at the factory building and wished that all the polution and destruction caused by that industry stop. Wished that the directors and the shareholders of that company stop thinking about profit and start thinking about bringing something positive to people's lives and use their resources to make only sustainable and green products. I felt a bit silly for thinking such a sword would apply its power into such naïve intentions, but it did. The flames grew and flew and wrapped up the entire building, in a magical ritual of purification and as it seemed to consume the whole building into ashes, it also vanished leaving the building without a single burn. I was still mesmerized, when I heard a guard screaming at me as he ran towards me, from my right side on that alley. I ran to my left.

    11. Time Travel and Space Shuttle

by , 10-21-2011 at 11:58 PM (The Dream Magic Experiment)
Time travel. With people who looked like they lived in the 70s or 80s (what's the difference?). Bar. A suicide. Time dilation. Past affecting present. A room of... rabbits? Toy rabbits. That's what we use for time travel.

We went "back" and found we changed stuff. A girl who's supposed to live is dead/committed suicide. Jealousy. Depression.

Riverside Hospital at night. Eatery in Bacolod city. Front of Doctor's Hospital. Fish. Faded light. Faded yellow and black colors. Unsure of the food. Saw posters of Chowking on their exit. They said if I don't like their food, they can recommend another eatery, to help me.

Run. Chase. We were chasing, or being chased. We tried using a shuttle that we've tried using before, but won't work properly because we don't have a tool to use it. The tiny bridge worked. There were four of us, but it only allowed three. I stayed behind/got locked out.

As the shuttle started, I clung to the outside of the shuttle. It sped forward/up/down a dark tunnel. I can barely hold on, but I was able to. Then we spin really fast, and I almost flew off, but I was able to find a better grip. Then finally, it was about to enter a small "plastic" tunnel that can only fit the size of the shuttle. I let go and "landed" on the ground. I saw it was the "exit" of the shuttle, and saw smoke come out. My companions went out of the shuttle.

25 miles in only 1.65 minutes.

We were racing using the shuttle. There were other shuttles. We were about to cross a bridge. The water is high. A boat that usually passes under the bridge barely made it through. The water is high. Crossed (?) the bridge.
    12. Sydney Harbour What?

      7 Sep 2011

I repeatedly attempted DEILD tonight but found that I kept waking up in uncomfortable positions and had to move before I could get to sleep. I think that perhaps I was a little impatient. Anyway, the last dream which I can remember was this. I was walking East along the North side of Sydney Harbour, West of the Sydney Harbour Bridge only for most of the walk it was a narrow river, not the large harbour which I know it to be. The population density was also much lower than it should have been. It was more like Kirribilli (East of the Bridge) than McMahon's Point (West of the Bridge). The entire geography was in fact screwed up. The Botanical Gardens were also on the North side of the Bridge, right at the mouth of the Harbour Tunnel. Their actual location is the South side, above the Domain, right near the other end of the Tunnel. Anyway, I was walking East to the botanic gardens which bore a striking similarity to Kirribilli House and also a whole lot of similar locations in previous dreams. I was with my father and he was telling me a bit of history. Since it was only a small river, there were a number of bridges along the length of our walk. We repeatedly crossed the river all the way so that there would be more variety in the scenery but both sides were very similar. Anyway, he was telling me that there was a time not so long ago that none of the bridges existed, not even the Harbour Bridge, and that the only way to cross in an emergency was to run all the way to the Tunnel and cross through it. Suddenly my brother was there and he made us usual comments in relation to anything historical; he said that this was stupid and no body could have or should have had to live like that. He then went on to ask what music was played in the tunnel. His first though was "Can't Touch This" by MC Hammer but dad said that it was "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen. Both of these were incredibly lame puns at the time though I can not make sense of them now. The other thing was that the tunnel was being completely rebuilt. The had finished most of this but still had to paint it.
    13. The Luggage Furnace 8-23-2011

      by , 08-26-2011 at 09:04 PM
Sean and I were all packed for something and were travelling somewhere (probably a mixture of me helping Sean pack for college, and packing myself for Japan in RL). We each had two large suitcases (which I really do have for Japan...) and we were heading into this really rickety old train station/tunnel. The train was already waiting for us, and it turned out to be only a little rollercoaster-like car on an open track. The seats of each sections were wide enough to fit about three people, so Sean and I squeezed in the middle and put one suitcase each next to us, and one suitcase each under the seat in front of us. A girl with long blonde hair in a ponytail sat there. She greeted us, but I don't think she said much else. Somehow we found out (maybe the girl told us) that this train was headed for a furnace at the end of the line. People supposedly put their luggage and garbage on this train, some to be incinerated and some to be magically transported to wherever it needed to go. However, Sean and I didn't know how the magical process worked and we didn't want our stuff incinerated...The train began to move slowly, and I could see that it looped back and into a furnace not too far away... One seat moved into the incinerator at a time, and the train stopped each time. However, Sean and I couldn't get off the train yet, even though it would have been very easy to hop off at any moment as it was moving slow enough and there wasn't anything but dirt below; but we were waiting for something...
Finally, the ride we were apparently waiting for showed up, in the form of the mother of one of Sean's wrestling buddies. We saw her drive her blueish SUV up right outside the tunnel and park, waiting for us. The blonde girl had disappeared by now as we sprang into action. Sean had to hop off and run outside to make sure it was okay with this lady that we put all of our stuff in her car, but by the time he got back there was a small baby-gate blocking the entrance to the train tunnel. He could have jumped over it easily, but it would have severely slowed our progress. Instead, I agreed to grab our luggage and toss it to him over the gate, where he would put it in the SUV. Our car was already nearing the furnace and I started to panic. I quickly grabbed a suitcase, ran over to the gate, and tossed it to Sean, but when I returned to our car the luggage had multiplied. I didn't take time to question it, I just knew I had to save it, so I grabbed as many random things from our car as I could and brought it to Sean. I kept going back and forth, and each time I returned there was more and more stuff on the seats, now mostly toys and junk from when i was a kid... it seemed to be taking forever for me to grab this all by myself, and I was becoming frustrated. Finally, as the furnace was getting very close and I could feel the heat now, i was nearing the end of our stash. The seat two ahead of us jerked into the furnace as I scrambled to grab the last large suitcase we had. I ran it to Sean, feeling relieved that I had gotten everything, but as I glanced back I noticed still one last suitcase, still under the seat in front of ours. I raced to grab it - it was heavy and nearly to big to fit under there - but I yanked it out just before that seat moved into the furnace... I dragged this last suitcase over to the gate, my arm hairs singed; On the other side of the gate Sean was in much less of a rush than I had been, so there were still suitcases piled on the ground on his side. I hopped over the gate and proceeded to help him pick it up. This is where Mom woke me up.
    14. First Dream

      by , 08-05-2011 at 12:34 AM
I thought it would be most appropriate to post my first dream as the first dream I remember from my life. The age at which I had it, I cannot recall. I was most likely around age six.

So the first segment of my dream that I remember consisted of my father, older brother, and I. My older brother was about eight, and my father in his forties. We were slowly riding on the back of a Brontosaurus (hence my username.) The Brontosaurus was a greenish/yellow color. It's neck was abnormally long, even for that species of dinosaur. The view of the dream was a side view, you were only able see just a few paces in front of the large dinosaur at the very right, then the rest of your vision was taken over by this animal with a back unlike others. It's back was like a camel with three humps, just enough to seat me and my two companions. I was on the bottom/front hump closest to the neck, then my brother in the middle, lastly my dad at the top. We were all sitting upright. The sky was a dim light blue, but with a little grey. My emotion I felt was saddened by the weather, like when your mood changes because it's about to rain. The grass was flat and green, everything seemed as though a child had drawn the dream (I was young.) All of the sudden, the dino began to gallop. It ran very quickly, I felt as if I was losing my grasp, but in my head I knew I was safe since I was able to hold onto the neck. But I knew that my dad and brother would not be able to hold on for long, and the Brontosaurus only got faster. I screamed, and I cried. I tried to make the animal stop, but it was no use. Until finally it viewed a large lake in it's way and haulted to a sudden stop. Right when the momentum stopped, gravity pushed my brother and father off the back of the animal and into the air. It was like slow motion watching them fly, they spun in the air like in cartoons. I saw that they were headed for the lake which for some reason turned into a small puddle. I never saw it transform, it just made sense in the dream that it had changed. I automatically jumped down from the bottom hump and I paid no more attention to the Brontosaurus. I ran to the puddle, which I looked into. Somehow, my dad and brother had fallen straight in, and it was a sucking tunnel filled with water, but they could breathe and speak clearly in the water. I stooped over it, and knew in my mind that my dad was gone forever, having already been sucked all the way in. All I was left with was my brother struggling in the water filled hole, he was reaching his arms towards me screaming. I tried, but could not penetrate the surface, we both knew that we had to say goodbye at that moment. He stopped struggling, and I said 'goodbye I love you' in my head, and he knew I said it maybe by telepathy, finally he waved and drifted down. I watched as long as I could. The water was a dark blue, and the sides of the tunnel were purple. I felt like I was sobbing and could not stop, but only one tear drifted from my eye. It was slow motion again at this moment, the tear fell off my face and onto the water (it was like when they have slow motion videos of a rain drop) and I was able to watch it lay on the surface of the puddle, because now it was just a puddle again. Then my mind said that it was over and I had to move on, so I stood up... that's when I awoke.
    15. Log Powered Wagon 12/13/2010

      by , 07-11-2011 at 02:54 AM
I was in a gold mine like tunnel underground with some "DC friends." All around were roots and beams. Along the right side was a really long shelf with logs. In front of me was a (horseless and engine-less) wagon which the DCs got into. We were after some creature and we needed to move fast. The wagon was log powered so naturally I needed to run behind it grabbing and throwing logs as I went. On top of that I had to grab the correct log at the right time, which wasn't easy because they all looked alike. (They felt spiritually different) The wagon was going faster and faster and a few logs came really close to hitting the DCs in the head. I was having trouble keeping up when we finally came to the end of the tunnel.

Just outside the tunnel were two dead creatures that looked allot like raptors. All the colors outside were extremely vibrant and the scenery was forest/jungle like. I asked "What do we do if plan slightly failed" DCs felt like strangers at this point but still friendly. One grabbed a dead raptors tail and thew it into a nearby ravine almost simultaneously another DC throws the other raptor. The throwing happened lightning fast. I wasn't lucid but I think I was beginning to suspect something (because of the raptors go figure)
