Fighting Krauser, Trying to Shoot Monk, Sand....Alaskan Beach Sand? (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Dream 1: Fighting Krauser from Resident Evil 4

The dream is out where I'm given advice on something for Metal Gear Solid. I hear some music playing which seems to sound like the song,"Cavern", in Metal Gear Solid 1.

The advice was kind of small, but pretty useful in terms of knowing which areas you already went to. It told me that the new stairs that you go up towards have this sort of new shine to them, and stairs you already when to, they would appear blank and look dull.

It also mentioned how that if you're found out, the boss will know you'll be coming after them, while if you managed to sneak attack, they would barely notice you; they were showing a clip of someone sneaking behind Albert Wesker who was typing on a keyboard in some front, which kind of felt odd if this was supposed to be Metal Gear Solid related.

This advice was common sense, but I guess helpful anyway for those who never played a stealth game.

I go up the stairs a bit, and go into this hallway, and I could tell I'm going to face a boss here. The door closes, and the flooring has a white shine to it, so taking the advice from what was mentioned above, I obviously wasn't here before.

I see some entity that looks like Albert Wesker from Resident Evil, but his back is facing me. I don't know what happens, but I do know I leave the other door he was in, and I was back at the enclosed area with white flooring and white all over basically.

Then I see a figure that looks familiar, I can't really tell if it's Albert Wesker or Krauser because all sorts of colors flowing on this person's body to where you only see the outlines of their figure. (like the picture below)

Then the colors start to fade away, and it really is Krauser. At first, I didn't really feel anything in this non-lucid, except for the fact that I had nothing to do but ONLY feel nothing, so that I wouldn't screw this encounter, because I know if it's Krauser, I better think QUICKLY to kill this guy.

He was in his fully developed mutated arm blade, and I immediately knew what to do, shoot the fuck out of him before tries to stab me.

I knew I had to aim for the legs, because his Arm Blade would cover his entire chest region, so shooting the legs would make him fall and crouch down, exposing his chest for a few seconds before he makes another quick flip and defend himself again.

I started to shoot him in the legs, then his chest, then I quickly crouched down to shoot his legs again, and basically repeated this process until he's killed.
(For once, I actually am able to cause DAMAGE in a dream where I have a weapon!)

If you don't know who the hell Krauser is, here's a video that basically describes how hard this guy can be if you keep getting unnecessary hits from him, but he's really easy when you can dodge his attacks.

I killed him way quicker than this person did because I was just as fast as Krauser since I was able to crouch down really fast and go back up and shoot his chest with automatic weapon to the point where he only had 1-2 seconds to actually make a move on me lol.

Instead of him using a flash grenade to escape in the video, he actually died this time.

For once, I have a dream where I leave the room where I killed someone quickly and walk out the room like a bad-ass mofo WITHOUT using the "Run like Pussy" tactic that I see myself doing with intense things like this.

Dream 2: Trying to Shoot Monk

It's night time, and I'm in a room where I see Tony Shalhoub, the guy who acted as the main character in "Monk" headed towards some door. I'm right behind him, maybe 4-5 feet away from him.

I can't remember much, but I think he was helping someone or something find its way, maybe a monkey? I'm not sure, I think I do remember something small walking on the floor, but I'll just leave it at that.

I try to shoot Monk, but before I do, I figured I should use a silenced pistol, and one actually appears in my hand for once, I guess I had good control despite it being a non-lucid dream.

I aim for his head and shoot like two times, but it compared to the first dream where I'm fucking Rambo and killing someone quickly, the bullets don't even come in contact with Monk.

I started to think this silenced pistol was really just a bunch of silenced piece of crap.

That's all I remember for that one.

      Dream 3: Sand....Alaskan Beach Sand?

I was resting on my back on sand in this vast environment. I saw some palm trees I believe and sand operating like geysers or something like that.

I think my mother was with me in this dream, and I told her how amazing that the sand on the surface on the earth seems like so much, and how below the surface there's even more.

I think I even made sand angels for a while in this dream.

After being amazed by the beauty of this environment the dream shifts to where I see Liam and probably even Hope from The Bold and The Beautiful.

They're at some place with a lot of green plants, almost like being in a tropical paradise or something, and they're smiling at each other while eating a cake I believe.

The dream shifts to where Steffy comes in a house, and she's wondering if Liam and Hope left some cake for them, but to her surprise, they leave the container where the cake was empty, with some traces that show that they ate it already.

I honestly can not interpret anything from this dream.

non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

Had a beautiful dream in which I met my Dream Guide. I was lucid and she was silent as usual. We were on the beach and she just moved her hands in the air, like painting a canvas and the air and the clouds smudged and made beautiful ethereal drawings in front of my eyes.
I tried to do the same thing and I moved my hands in a way that made the sand dance. I envisioned a Buddha and the sand obbeyed my hands and sculpted itself into a solid Buddha sitting on a throne. When completed, the sand sculpture slowly started to transform into gold with incrusted jewels. I noticed that the throne was in fact a 3D mandala on top of which was the Buddha. He was part of it and also beyond it.

      dream : comments : lucid

      17th of January, 2012

Had some failed lucidness early in the night.
I was sleeping and Nooks woke me up saying "it's 9pm, time to wake up!" I was all "Why the shit would you be waking me up at 9pm?" at which point she proceeded to start putting fish on my feet. By that stage I was all "nup, this is stupid, this is obviously a false awakening" and when I did my hand-check I mustn't have been deep enough into the dream and the movement actually woke me up for real. Almost immediately after that I went back to sleep and back into a dream. Not quite a WILD, but I was almost instantly aware. Quasi DEILD, perhaps. Again I was lying asleep except I was a bit deeper in and was this time at a beach. I was in the sand when I woke up again. Did a RC and wasn't dreaming. God damn it!
Back asleep again and THIS time I was still at the beach but could really feel the sand and water. I focussed on sinking into the sand so as to stimulate my senses a bit and really tried focusing on Nooks' face to become hyper-aware. It all sort of worked but then the dream began to fade and I couldn't get it back.
      Ah well. Close.

      -----

I was at some dodgy apartment block and was meeting all the neighbours.

      -----

I was at a birthday party and drinking champagne. Some hippie type girls offered me LSD which I accepted. The acid was on these plastic strips that had different phrases printed on them. The one I took said “Spiders in your mouth”. I half dissolved the strip and suddenly realised I didn’t want to be tripping on acid and remember that it said anything about spiders being in my mouth so I spat it out and asked for another one, which they didn’t let me have. I wanted the one that said "Ice cream".

We went outside where people were drinking and partying in the back yard and I hung around drinking my champagne and having a good time. Presently, I looked up into the sky and was struck with awe. The moon was enormous but different. It was covered in gigantic ice crystals- all perfectly formed like giant snowflakes. The arms of the crystals spread out far into the sky, about twice the diameter of the moon itself. I was totally blown away and ran screaming to the other people to come and have a look. When they came over the crystals had begun dropping off and falling through space towards us. While they fell, they broke into smaller pieces and snowed down on us as snowflakes the size of dinner plates. It was a beautiful experience and I remember turning to Nooks and asking if it was the acid or if it was really happening and she just smiled and nodded before catching one. It was nice.

Later on there was something to do with hot air ballooning in a cave and finding magic mushrooms. That lead into my family having issues with a neighbour shooting arrows into our yard. The neighbour became one of my younger brothers who stabbed one of my other brothers with an arrow and when we told him we would call the police on him he suddenly became really cute and baby-faced. I asked him to apologise and when he did he became a manchild with a seedy ass beard and looked totally creeper. He started apologising in this weird rhyming slang and I decided I hated him.

      -----

Aliens invaded in cool space/aquatic ships. They were all spiky and black. As they landed in the water, huge waves flooded large parts of the city and the street we were on was suddenly awash with buses coming towards us. We narrowly avoided being crushed by the sliding buses and ran up a hill into a park. There, some people offered me cheese and I said, in a very posh voice “no... quite alright thank you” which they scoffed at. I asked if they’d prefer a more bogan approach and said “aw, fuckin’ aliens and shit invading, hey!” then left. We went into a house that had a smaller house inside it and I climbed onto the smaller house’s roof. All of a sudden I realised my teeth were loose and they began to fall out and break apart.

Didn’t do a dream check because apparently I’m an idiot and don’t recognise my own dream signs.

Anyway, I woke up shortly afterwards.
    4. Plane Crash.

      by , 10-31-2011 at 01:31 PM
I had a dream that me, my mum & brother went to a place called either Baurmind or Bourneville, it was quite the eastern European country with small temple things you'd see in say Russia, but more modern yet still quite poor. On the way there the plane runway was the sand on the beach, people were playing there and jogging however they were used to planes coming + going. When we were on the runways the plane wouldn't slow down + couldn't stop. The plane that started spinning out of control with the electrics flashing on and off, me and my brother were panicking.
The plane then started to crash into buildings with its wings + tail but aparently it was good in order to stop the plane. We then ended up in a green forest and people got out the plane and were assigned to their hotels. My brother wasn't in the same hotel as mum and I so I told the people he went with to look after him.
I was then left thinking 'What are we going to do in Bourneville?'
    5. 9/30/11 Task of the Month Completed - Poseidon and Trick or Treating!

by , 10-01-2011 at 03:32 AM (Mancon's Wild and Crazy Adventures in the Dream World)
I just took a hour and a half nap, and became lucid!

I was walking in a large, cold grocery store in the middle of the fruit section. I was holding an orange that was the size of a watermelon. I was debating whether or not it was good enough to buy.

A girl came up to me and tapped me on the shoulder. "That orange right there is begging for you to buy it. Why don't you put that orange down, and buy that one?" I looked at the orange she was talking about, and it started moving around.

The thought that this might be a dream randomly crossed my thoughts. How did I get here? I asked myself. I remembered falling asleep for a nap, and did a reality check to confirm I was dreaming. I was!

I cleared my mind, and stabilized my dream. My first thought was to do the Task of the Month!

I decided I wanted to do the advanced task first, and turn into Poseidon. I wanted to be underwater to do that, of course!

I planned to walk through a wall, and on the other side would be the ocean! I saw a blank wall across from me, and back up. I ran at full speed at it, and BAM! I was in the ocean. I wanted to transform into Poseidon, and I figured the best way to do that was to find him and melt into his body.

I turned around and expected him to be there. He was there towering over me looking ANGRY. "YOU DO NOT TAKE MY PLACE AS A GOD!" He yelled.

I ran towards him, jumped and melted into his body. I could feel myself in his body now, controlling him. I was him. Well that was easy... I thought to myself.

I decided to test out my divine water bending skills. I held out my hands and held them together in front of me. I then separated them, and imagined ALL the water being separating with my hands. The ocean literally split right in half, and there was a long gap in the middle.

The floor of the gap was made of wet sand. I flew upwards, and let the water fall back down into the giant gap. I concentrated on a big section of water and made it float up and shoot into space. The vividness of it was amazing. I could feel the cold water on my feet.

I played around with the water a little more, and decided to go trick or treating. I looked down at my body and I was a GIANT. I looked about 15 feet tall, so I decided to shrink down to 4 feet, and look like a kid.

I flew across the water, while it splashed me in the face. After a minute or so, I saw what I was looking for: an island. This island had Halloween decorations EVERYWHERE and was filled with pumpkins. I landed on it, and it was very crowded. There were kids everywhere

I blended in with all the kids, and went to the nearest house I could find. The house was dark green, two story's, and had a rather large door. I went up to it and knocked. It opened immediately, and an old lady stared down at me. She smiled.

"Oh look at how cute you look! You are dressed up as Poseidon? I love that beard! It looks SO real!" she said to me.

I nodded and held out my hands to see what she would give me.

"Don't you have a bag to put you candy in?" she asked me.

I looked down and realized I didn't have a bag! I shaped one out of water, and froze it. I looked back up and she stared at me, horrified.

"Can I PLEASE have my candy now?" I said. She put a Jolly Rancher into my ice bag, her hand was shaking. Suddenly, fire came shooting out of her hand and my bag melted. She grinned at me, looking evil. I look around and all the kids were gone!

I quickly made a big wave and smashed it into her house. It collapsed. She grabbed my shoulder, and then
I woke up. I wanted the dream to continue! I tried to fall back asleep, but couldn't. Maybe I can continue this tonight! Thanks for reading
    6. Searching for Seashells 8-12-2011

      by , 08-25-2011 at 01:23 AM
My boyfriend Sean and I were on the shore of some beach, searching for seashells. We had already collected many, but were sent back to look for more because the previous ones were either not enough or not the right ones. My most prominent memory of this dream is a close-up of Sean, bent down serenely on the shore to pick up a shell as the waves lapped onto his legs. He was still wearing his sneakers and his pant-legs weren't even rolled up. But he looked so calm, like an angel, as his dark skin gleamed in the low sunlight. My dream self was somewhere behind him, minding her own business and searching for shells...

    7. Building of the pyramids / Dream Journals are important

      by
      Hyu
      , 08-12-2011 at 03:31 AM (Hyu's Adventures)
      So here's a tip:
If you ever find yourself with no time to lucid dream, do NOT stop updating your dream journal. :/
I stopped updating mine for a few weeks, and when I tried to LD again I noticed my dream recall was nearly nonexistent.
It took me the past two weeks to have a moderately long lucid, and going through this after having had sort of regular lucids is quite a frustrating experience.
So yeah, dream journals seem to be quite a bit more important than I thought.
      Anyways, enough rambling.

I'm taking a bath. The water is very soapy and I'm sort of lost in thoughts.
Somehow I feel that it is weird that I have a bathtub, I used to have only a shower.
But I make up some excuse to justify the presence of the tub and continue idling.
I think about a girl I met a few days ago for some reason, and suddenly I notice that someone is with me in the bathtub.
There's a naked girl right in front of me, though not the one I was thinking of, I don't know her.

I don't really realize that this situation is weird, I even sort of ignore the girl until I feel the urge to touch her arm because I have the impression that it's supposed to feel weird.
I touch her arm and gently brush over it with a finger, and I notice that it feels extremely realistic even though it shouldn't.

Wait... why is it supposed to... oh!
      Am I dreaming?
I look at the girl, whom is smiling at me and she proceeds to vanish into thin air.

I am now certain that I am dreaming, but I feel the urge to RC, I feel like I need the shock of awareness.

As I do the nose pinch RC I remember that I haven't RC'ed like this in a long time.
Usually I just become aware that I am dreaming, or I realize inconsistencies as to how I ended up where I am.
I think I stopped doing 'standard' RC's after WakingNomad had suggested other forms of increasing awareness on these forums.

The RC succeeds and I get quite excited that I finally induced an LD again, and I immediately feel the urge to do something with the limited time that is given to me.
I jump out of the tub ready to search my house for anything exciting.

      Stop! What am I doing?
I haven't stabilized the dream, I'm running around aimlessly, this is bad!
I try to calm down and attempt to stabilize the dream.
That was close, my surroundings had already darkened quite a bit.

I try to open a portal on a wall. I have no destination in mind, I have no goals and just seem to do the first thing that crosses my mind.
As I walk through it I wonder why I've bothered with a portal when I can just teleport with my wings, plus I'm assuming the portal won't work
because I haven't set a destination... but it does!

I find myself in the desert, on a sand dune.
This is odd, usually my dreams are dominated by cold colors and watery landscapes.
This is pretty much the exact opposite.
I see some construction work going on and approach it.
As I look at my surroundings, I realize that I must be in the past, considering what people are wearing and the kinds of buildings that exist.

This place seems oddly familiar though... and then I finally get it.
They're building the pyramids! I'm in Egypt!
Of course! I've been here before in waking life, how interesting!

      "It is, isn't it?"
      "Yeah..."

Huh? It's the girl from the bathtub again, except she's dressed now.
She's wearing some sort of white gown and her hair is braided.

      "You're the girl from before!"
      "Yeeees... ?"
      "Do I know you?"
      "... are you fucking serious?"
      "Err... oh! Faye?"
      "Yes Faye! Dude!"
"I'm sorry... haven't had a lucid in a while, I feel like I've forgotten everything"
      "You'll be fine."
"Yeah this is good, if I remember this dream it'll boost my confidence."
"Good good, time to wake up now."
      "Huh, why?"
      "Your phone is ringing"

I wake up and sure enough, my mobile is ringing.
    8. Lucid Dream 1: Sand

      by , 08-09-2011 at 05:53 PM
Just as a little Prologue, most of my dreams are Lucid as ive found out, so when i found out there was a website devoted to whats normal for me sounded pretty cool :) I also wasn't entirely aware that they were meant to be rare to a degree. So consider this not necessarily my most recent LD but more one that i always think of first when asked for an example.

The dream started off walking by where my Grandparents live which is on Portland just off Weymouth (so by the sea). Prior to going to sleep i wasn't in a particularly good mood which I find affects what i chose to happen in dreams. I was walking by myself on the beach with the shore to my right and decided to draw shapes and faces in the sand.

At this point the dream wasn't entirely Lucid as what i was drawing wasn't under my control until i got angry with what i was drawing, as it wasn't an accurate picture of what i was drawing (being that it was in the Sand) At this point I looked at the sand and started to imagine what I wanted to draw, only to find I had drawn itself there. Its at this point where i think the dream became completely Lucid due to the fact i looked behind me and had stop the tide from moving up the shore and ruining my work, all the while i was drawing what i can only describe as a tapestry across the beach.

The picture contained details of a story with details similar to those of which were part of the reason i was upset prior to falling asleep, but it wasn't me in the picture and neither was the person/people involved in real life. (I dont remember exactly what they looked like now as this isn't recent, but i know they looked like some other friends instead). I continued to draw until I came across a house more inland which i traveled to instantly, to find it was also made of sand. And as an experiment,(which i already knew the outcome of but did so for fun i think..) i picked the house up out of the ground to create another floor underneath to create a three story house as apposed to a two story. (The closest thing i can relate this to in terms of an example would be of Inception in purgatory but also in the film Watchmen where Dr Manhattan creates a huge structure on Mars out of crystal).

It was at this point that i had realised that the whole scenery was made of sand and that everything was of that colour, the only thing that looked the same was the sky, though it was now coloured sandy like Hessian. I saw people in the garden to the side of the house (also made of sand) that i could manipulate and give extra arms and take away features as if with clay. The last thing i remember doing before going to sleep properly was trying to turn one of the people back to real, but could only turn part of them because it felt like i was trying to turn the whole world back at once with every detail as apposed to this once person and then the rest just left me and the dream stopped

This is probably the LD that i remember most from, and hopefully i remember to write them down i'll try and post more on here :)
      Happy Dreaming!

    9. Fragments and Dreams

      by , 08-05-2011 at 04:27 AM
      Fragments
A van, some guys lasers and brown stuff. Like sand or something.

Kat Slater from EastEnders was arguing with Megan Fox on the Square.

My Mum made me some pie. It looked like cherry pie and it was kinda cartoony which led to this dream. She doesn't usually make pie.

I was in college and my friend was there and one of my least favourite friends was there.

      Dream 1

I was somewhere in a forest or something and my mum was there and she had been kdnapped along with the families or friends and it was up to me and my squad to get them back (my squad had family members and friends in that group that they wanted to save) It kinda turned into Call Of Duty as I started shooting bad guys. I eventually found the people and then woke up.

      Dream 2
A family was watching as a father and his sons entered the formers car.
I think they were high ranking people so the other family let them take there car. The Dad thought that the other family would damage his car when they got in but they were really careful. The odd thing was this family was white and I hadn't seen any of the before.

      Side Notes

I was attempting Sleep Paralysis and I kind of got there. I felt my arms shutdown and my face went numb and it kinda felt weird as if someone's hand was on it. So I opened my eyes and nothing was there. I was ignoring the need to move and roll over into another position but I couldn't keep it up and moved.

      Fragment

I was with a school group, like an excursion (field trip). We had been travelling a long way by foot, but I only remember when we reached the top of this sand hill, and there was a whole city below us.

There was sand and water everywhere, the buildings weren't as high as skyscrapers. Someone said "We finally reached Chicago!"

I took out my camera and captured the city. It was breathtakingly beautiful.

      I wake up.

lol the only time I've seen Chicago was in the movie "Source Code". It's a good movie,

      Series: Fearless, Episode 5
      DEILD

....after a few brief moments, I woke and entered right back into the dream state. I stood up and noticed I was standing on a a narrow stretch of a beach. There were hotels on my immediate right and only seemed to be about 20 feet away. The water on my left was also about 20 feet away. I slowly walked down the beach and took in the scenery as I gave the dream time to establish itself (settle in). For some reason, the way I was walking reminded me of Rurouni Kenshin. I decided to act as if I were a samurai. I attempted to summon a sword, but I only could make the hilt appear. I held on to it and acted as if it were a full sword. I began slicing through clothes lines and other object as I walked around the buildings (which were now on the sand and water line). Moments later, I noticed I was now holding a long sword. I reached into my pocket and felt around until I found what I was looking for. I pulled out a dagger.

Now fully equipped I just wandered around the beach area looking for something interesting. I got a sense that someone was following me. I looked over my shoulder and saw a ninja decked out in all black. The ninja saw me looking at him and pretended to be admiring a nearby bush. I laughed at his attempt to play off the fact he was following me (especially since he was a decked out ninja ). I walked slowly and could feel that he had gotten close to me. I spun around quickly and stuck my sword up to his throat in an instant. I noticed that it wasn't the ninja at all. It was now an old lady and she looked terrified. I let her go and told her to never walk up behind a samurai again. I could see several ninjas in the background walking in my direction. I turned and jumped up on the roof of the nearest building.

I now saw that the ninjas were running toward me, but they were still a good ways off. I noticed there was someone standing on the roof with me. He spoke and removed his hood. It was Samuel L. Jackson. He said, "The syndicate has brought you some supplies. Now, you don't have to kill everything. You can use one of these bad boys." He handed me a smoke grenade and some rations. The rations looked like coaster sized pieces of corn bread. I stuffed them into my pocket and tossed the smoke grenade down on the beach below. I looked at Samuel L and said, "They will all die." I noticed a couple ninjas running into the smoke. I leapt off the top of the building and fell down on top of the two ninjas. I plunged the dagger and sword into the necks of the two ninjas as I landed on them (assassins creed style). I stood up and licked the blood off of my sword. It tasted like strawberry. Samuel L was still on top of the roof. I looked up at him, spread my arms wide and gave a smirk. He shook his head and said, "Now you've done it. The entire clan will be after you." I smiled and said, "It won't be the first time I've fought a bunch of ninjas." I noticed there was a large group of them approaching. I wanted a larger area to work in, so I ran away as they gave chase.

I soon came to an open area. It was a playground, but it was on the sand. There were seesaws, merry-go-rounds, slides, swings, etc. The ninjas arrived and started popping out from all sides at once. I shouted, "Feel the wrath of the reverse blade!" I began slicing them up. I performed several neck plunges with my dagger. I also cut a few of the ninjas' heads clean off. I decided to make it more, "Jackie Chan style." I started using the playground equipment around me to fight. I pushed the marry-go-round and hopped on. I sliced up ninjas as I spun around the merry-go-round. I jumped off and the whole dream scene had scrambled a bit. We were still in a playground, but everything was in different places and there were some new equipment as well (those weird animal rocking things and some of those green plastic turtle sandboxes). I climbed up the slide and a the ninjas closed in around it. They were fighting like the foot clan in the old ninja turtles movies (they would wait their turns and come at me one or two at a time while the others stood in the background and moved around menacingly). I slid down the slide and sliced several conveniently placed ninjas (they were standing right beside the slide). I ran into the middle of a gang of them and decided to let them close in on me. I then held out my arms wide. One was holding the sword and the other, the dagger. I then spun real fast in circle and sliced them up with a helicopter like motion. The dream began to fade and I allowed myself to wake, so I wouldn't forget anything.

    13. Dinosaurs & Sandwiches

I was bodiless. Moving across what I took to be an ancient landscape, very close to the ground. There was sand and lots of little creatures roaming around underneath the sand. I couldn't see them, I could only see moving bulges and little dark spots. I followed one in particular and had the impression it was a Trilobite or Silverfish.

I had the feeling a disaster was pending... I noticed there was a towering layered rock structure in the middle of the sandy area I was exploring. It had a number of large holes and caves in it. I moved up about halfway to a larger cave opening. There, was a small blue-ish Triceratops. Noticing my bodiless presence, it became instantly spooked. He rotated to move away, and his backside bumped me back down to the sandy bottom.

Then, I zoomed away and re-entered my body. I was now at the PC looking at this scene from software I was running. I saved "my game" and commented to my best friend Joe who was sitting beside me. He remarked how cool that was. His Mom and my Mom entered the room and sat at a large table behind me. (This was not a home I recognized.) His Mom proceeded to make two peanut-butter and jelly sandwiches, except she covered the outside of the bread with peanut-butter as well. My Mom also had a plate with two messy looking sandwiches.

Joe's Mom commented to Joe, "Now you have to make me one!" He seemed overly excited about the prospect saying, "Okay Mom, sounds good!" I remember thinking the food didn't look very appealing...

I had this dream last night. This is my second documented dream including Joe and Dinosaurs: Dream: 007

    14. So, let's give this a try

      by , 03-01-2011 at 03:01 PM
This is my first lucid - or, sort of lucid - dream since I started being active on Dream Views about three days ago and getting serious about actually controlling my dreams. I should note that I have had many, many lucid dreams in the past, but have never very much control, not even over myself. I'm not entirely sure if this was a WILD or a DILD. I attempted a WILD as I was going to sleep last night, and got SO close, but a strand of hair fell into my face, and was driving me absolutely mad, and I had to move. I tried to start over, but the housemates upstairs were making noise and kept distracting me. So I gave up, but kept the thought in my mind, and when I woke up later in the night, tried again. My second time waking up may have resulted in a successful WILD, with me losing some lucidity as I entered the dream, but I'm not sure.

      Dream
      Semi-Lucid
      Lucid

I'm in my bed. There are three others there with me, but I can only hear them, not see or feel them. (They are all "me" but I don't realize this until after I wake up. Whenever I am in bed, I'm talking to them, but can't remember what we were actually saying.) There is a fourth person sitting in the chair near my bed, guiding us through the lucid dreaming process. She tells the first "me" that I am dreaming, and it's okay to get up now. But before I leave the bed, I have to touch my feet together, one on top of the other. (Dream logic...)

The first "me" sits up. My eyes are closed, and I touch my feet together like my "guide" told me to. Then I get up, and open my eyes. I'm in my townhouse room in the "village" on-campus at the university. My guide (who I never try to see, though I know she's sitting on the chair) asks me what I want to do.

"I should make it daytime first."

I try to simply will it to be daytime, but it doesn't work. I close my eyes and spin around, thinking "daytime" and when I stop, the curtains are open and the sun is starting to rise. My guide asks me "what now" and I tell her I want to run around on the walls like the scene in Inception where gravity is changing. She says she'll adjust gravity for me, so I run at one of the walls, and just as she said, gravity changes so I'm able to run up the wall. I do this for a few minutes, and then she says that she will be the one in charge of when gravity changes, so I have to keep up. Somehow I know exactly where she's going to shift gravity to, and have no problem keeping up.

My consciousness starts to "drift away" from the first "me" and back to the bed as the first me decides that she's had enough of this and flies out the window. I'm suddenly back in bed, and the "guide" tells the second me that it's okay to get up now. So I start to sit up, but this me disappears very quickly. Finally, it is just the "real" me left. My guide tells me I'm dreaming, and it's okay to get up.

      "Are you sure?"

"Yes. Don't forget to touch your feet together."

I'm very cautious as I get up, thinking that I'm not actually asleep, and that my guide is lying. I do as she says, then stand up.

      "Are you dreaming?"

      I look at my hands.

      "Yes."

After this, I no longer see, hear, or think about my "guide" for the rest of the dream.

I start thinking about what I'm going to do now, but remember that I need to ground myself. I remember the tutorial I read about using all your senses to do this, so start rubbing my hands together, looking around the room, listening. I cannot smell anything, though I try. I can hear "May it Be" coming from my radio, and think that this is my "real" ears hearing it (it wasn't, I did not have any music playing) so I try to "switch" to my dream ears, but it doesn't work. I'm amazed briefly at how clear everything is, and the fact that I can no longer feel my body in my bed (this is something that has never happened before in a lucid dream) I remember the tutorial again, and how it said I should pick something up, like a rock. For some reason, there is nothing in the room small enough to pick up, and definitely not a rock, so I go to the window. I see a bottle cap when I look down and decide that will do. I can still here "May it Be" and look over at the table by my bed, where my radio and lamp are. Seeing the chair where my guide had been sitting makes me uncomfortable, even though at this point I don't remember her, so I look back out the window. I decide rather than taking the "easy" route down, I'm going to teleport. So I step back into my room, close my eyes, and spin around, thinking "I'm in front of my townhouse."

I feel something change and open my eyes. I'm in front of my townhouse, and go pick up the bottle cap. I toss it back and forth a couple of times and "pop" it. Then I forget about it, and start running down the street, just enjoying how vivid this dream is and how for the first time ever, my movements don't feel hindered by the dream. I decide to start flying around and see what's there.
(as a side note, either a DC or my DG, who I have never consciously met, taught me how to fly in a non-lucid dream when I was very young, and this has been my main method of getting around in lucid dreams for as long as I can remember, although sometimes I get "stuck" just a couple feet off the ground). At first, I try to go as high and as fast as I can, with the intent of going out into space, but though I try as hard as I can, I can't reach the clouds. So I stop and look around, and notice a mountain in the distance, and wonder why there's a mountain in my dreamworld, which other than this, looks exactly like my university campus. I decide to go check it out, and as I get closer, I see that it is a volcano, with many peaks and a large crater. I love rock climbing, so I decide I'm going to land at the base and climb up it to see what's inside the crater.

On the way, I remember that one of my goals is to learn firebending and waterbending, like in Avatar: the Last Airbender. So I cup my hands and try to summon fire, but it fails.
(I think this is because in real life, I was a bit nervous to try, as similar things have happened in non-lucid dreams, and it was quite painful) I then pass another mountain/volcano with water in it's crater, and try waterbending instead. I manage to pull out a little trickle of water, but I'm too far away, and can't get it all the way to me. I can hear "May it Be" again, and start worrying that it's drifting through again from the real world, but then realize I'm not actually hearing it, it's just stuck in my head. I debate whether to get closer to the water, or keep going to the volcano, and decide on the volcano (What are you doing? *slaps dream self* Goal number one: learn firebending or waterbending. *headwall*) I get to the volcano, and find that it is actually made of sand, and is on the shore of an ocean. Someone else is there, and she starts climbing. I follow, and make it to the top in a disappointingly short time. Once I get to the top though, I feel a "tug" and things get blurry briefly. Quickly, I pick up some sand and rub it between my hands, also concentrating on the sound of the waves. But there is another hard tug, and I wake up suddenly, really, really hoping that it's a false awakening, but it isn't.

    15. January 9 - A New World (First Lucid, DEILD Method)

      by , 01-09-2011 at 07:10 PM
First, the dream starts off with me hanging out on a beach with my family and a couple of friends, except this beach is weird. There's nothing but lots and lots of sand, but it still has this feel of a beach, and we're all dressed and acting as such. While I'm chilling out on the sand, I suddenly get freaked out because of this huge spider I see. It has more eyes and legs than a normal spider and is literally almost the size of a small dog. When it hits the sand and dies, I wake up.

Realizing now that I was dreaming, I went back to sleep and remembered that there couldn't be a spider like that and realized inside of my dream that I was still asleep and having a dream. Since the spider seems to have come from another world, I decide to discover one. I move the spider from it's spot on the sand, and dig a hole where it once was. When I step through, I'm standing on another little strip of sand right beside of a large ship. There's a medium sized strip of deep ocean water going between where I am and another strip of sand and another ship. I walked across the large gap of ocean and opened up the side door leading inside.

I immediately walked up to who I knew to be the ship's Captain. The Captain turns out to be one of my friends. He explains to me the nature of the world I've walked into: All industrialized life including pets lived on this one giant ship I had found. All wildlife and extremely dangerous animals were all amphibious and lived both in the strip of ocean and on the small strips of sand I had found. On the ship, nobody ever fought and there was a set rhythm to things. My friend then turns to me and opens his arms around us and says, "Welcome to a new world!"
