1. Exploring a huge house

I was having trouble falling asleep after the last dream and was twisting and turning in bed for a while until I realized I had seen 2 dreamscapes form but not stabilize - one was a video game and the other I don’t recall. So this made me think that this is probably a good time to try to WILD and after a while I find myself in the dream although I don’t recall how I got there and I don’t remember actually entering the dream. I think more happened before the point from which I recall the dream but i just don’t remember it. Anyway I find myself walking through a house and exploring the rooms. I am going through some room where it’s kind of like a mini labyrinth and I have to make right turns like 3-4 times and as I get to the end I imagine findning and hot girl at the end but there is nothing there. I keep searching and I come to a room that is sort of split up in two parts and is also very much like a labyrinth and I hear a shower running. I go through one part of the room and come to a bathroom where the running shower sound was coming from and in there I find a tall black woman with light skin and she is turned away from me. She has a nice ass and then she turns around and her face is pretty ugly. I tell her "sorry, I am mistaken" and I leave. I feel my dream starting to destabilize but I want to get to the door leading out of here before restabilizing. I get in front of the door and I start spinning. Once I stop I open the door but it feels like I need to spin in the other direction a bit and I do like half a spin to stabilize and I’m good to go. I keep looking through the house and the next room I come to is empty and there is a black desk standing in this room that looks like an office. I decide I want to break this desk with just my bare hand. I slam my hand down on it but it does’t break...fortunately it doesn’t hurt me either. I then think that I should have no problems breaking this desk with my hand so I try again and in fact I don’t even hit it as hard and this time it breaks in half but my arm doesn’t go all the way through. So the desk is sort of broken but the two parts are still held together slightly. I think I just push my arm through it to break it. As I’m heading out of the room I see a lot of clatter and there is some object that’s close to the exit and I move it telekinetically...well it only moves a little and not as much as I wanted to...I intended to just shove it out of the way completely and it moved maybe a few inches. I walk out of this room and keep going through the house but now I’m starting to feel my breath being hot and heavy and it makes me think that my real body is in bed and I have the covers over my nose and mouth and in fact I start feeling the covers get wet with saliva and I have trouble breathing. I do my best to ignore it and I think I try breathing through my mouth and my nose gets congested. I’m able to keep going though, but thinking retroactively I should have just completely ignored these sensations of my real body. Anyway, next I get to a room that is sort of open and not surrounded by walls completely and in fact I can see way outside this room but I realize that what I’m seeing is not fully formed and my dream is destabilizing. I start spinning to stabilize the dream and I decide to actually just teleport out of here and go where there are a bunch of SOIs. As I continue spinning everything goes black and I’m in this void spinning and I feel my feet still going in the motion to make me spin. I continue spinning for maybe 5-10 seconds waiting for a dream to form but I wind up waking up. Interesting to note that my blanket was not covering my nose and mouth and I was lying on my belly with the side of my face on the pillow and nothing was obstructing my breathing.

I’m in the street under a train line and as I’m walking I’m thinking about it being morning already and I haven’t had a single lucid tonight. Then it occurs to me - what if I’m dreaming right now? I look at my hands and I realize that I am in fact dreaming, even though my hands look quite normal...I just know. I do a couple of RCs - finger through the palm and pinched nose and they both work. I start rubbing my hands to stabilize and then I spin but it feels uncomfortable rubbing my hands and spinning at the same time so I stop the rubbing. I spin one more time around and it gets a little bit more stable but not completely. I start walking around a little bit and realize that I have a very heavy book-bag on my back and I drop it to the ground by just taking the straps off my shoulders. I turn around and I want to kick this book-bag really hard and I see up ahead about 30-40 feet away there is a doorway with a sign on top. I kick the book-bag real hard in that direction (this thing is huge and heavy) and it goes flying but just off target and I use telekinesis to aim it and hit the sign. The sign explodes and a piece of it goes flying at me and almost hits me in the face. I then see a woman turned away from me. She’s close to that same doorway and I decide I want to throw her against the wall for some reason. I try to do it but it doesn’t work. I then levitate her up in the air and try to do it again but she just floats down to the ground. I then levitate her up again and I start moving her around doing funny dance moves like shaking her butt (she’s wearing a short skirt...like very very short). People around me are laughing and it’s pretty funny how’s she’s floating around and doing funny dance moves. Anyway after a few seconds of that I wake up. I try to DEILD back in but it doesn’t work and I give up to record my dream so that I don’t risk forgetting it later.

4. Wrestling Superhero Circus

by , 11-03-2013 at 06:45 PM
Batman wrestler is on some spinning machine and his other wrestling buddies are spinning his around with pens (don't ask). looks like one of those things you see on a kids playground. He screams he has had enough but they keep spinning him. These wrestlers are reckless and are comedic. I did not have a dream body once again.
5. Older dreams (Part 3)

Another entry from my WORD (.doc) dream journal:

Monday, 18. April 2011: "Sunlight" (LUCID)
Type: WILD/WBTB

After about 4 hours of sleep, I get up, and go back to bed a couple of minutes later. I get sleep paralysis, then get a little uncomfortable and will myself out of it by trying to move my head as hard as possible. That always works for me. After that, I get it again, then I get the illusion that my head starts shaking and banging against the pillow. I also feel slight pressure in my entire body. I keep saying to myself that I will have a lucid dream. The next thing I know, I am in a dream, laying in my bed in the same position I fell asleep in. Everything looks the same. I get up, and start walking a bit around the room, reminding myself outloud that it is a dream. I start paying attention to the details, particularly the light switch on the wall. A few seconds later the environment begins to fade. I try to relax and rub my hands against one another, and the dream stabilizes a bit. I walk into the living room, and the door is open, I see the sunlight outside, and it is also shining onto the floor.

However, looking at the sunlight destabilizes the dream and it begins to fade even more. I go back into the bedroom, which is darker, and the clarity improves. I focus, remind myself once more that I am in a dream, and then walk again into the living room. The sun once again causes the dream to begin breaking up so to speak, and losing clarity very much. Now I decide I will start spinning in order to stabilize it. So, in the living room, I spread my hands out, and start to spin and spin, expecting and hoping that the environment will stabilize. However, it continues to fade, and eventually... I don't know what happened after that. I did not wake up. It seems there was some kind of pause after that, if that's possible. Some kind of non-dream period? After that I only vaguely remember a non-Lucid dream.
6. Teleportation Troubles

by , 07-27-2012 at 01:36 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I was in my room. I was showing someone (can't remember who) my cat Oliver. He was a tiny, grey kitten, the tiniest kitten you ever did see. In real life, however, he's actually black and white and pretty much all grown up. I realized this and figured I was probably dreaming. I looked at my hand for an RC and had six fingers. Now, I knew I was dreaming. Unfortunately, I woke up within seconds. I noticed the grey kitten was still in my room, concluded I'd had a false awakening, and RC'd again. Once again, this woke me up nearly straight away.

I had a feeling that I was still dreaming. I didn't want to wake myself up again, so I just wandered around the house, paying attention to everything around me, as I'd heard that was a way of stabilizing a dream. After a little while, I decided to tell my mom I was dreaming.

"Are you?" she asked. I showed her my hand and told her that's how I could tell (I still had the extra finger, and I couldn't even keep my fingers straight if I looked at them for more than a second or so). "Oh, okay," she said.

Then, I decided to try teleporting again, since I'd failed before and wanted to get it right this time. I decided that maybe I could try using a portal this time. Since I'd heard it's harder to make objects appear right before your eyes, I decided for some reason to jump up, expecting a portal to appear under me. It didn't. I decided to try spinning instead. I stood in the middle of the living room, arms outstretched, and made sure I had enough room to spin without hitting the TV. After confirming that I had enough space, I started to spin. Realizing I'd need a destination, and that I should actually visualize it this time, I briefly closed my eyes, as it's easier to visualize anything that way.

That was a mistake. I woke up right away. This time, I had a feeling I was really awake. I did an RC and confirmed that I was.
7. 26th June 2012 - Eighth & Ninth Lucid Dream [DEILD Chain]

by , 06-26-2012 at 03:08 PM
Italic Text = Personal Thoughts
Normal Text = Non-Lucid Segment
Light Purple Text = Partially Lucid Segment
Purple Text = Lucid Segment

I awoke from a really crazy non-lucid and figured I would try a DEILD. I lay there, counting back from 10 and as I did so I eventually got an image of a video game character kind of "gearing up" for lucidity. I remembered what Sageous said about not really experiencing hypnagogic imagery when doing DEILDs, which is what I first assumed it was, but I opened my eyes and I was inside of a dream.

I'm in my bathroom at this point, I look at my hands to make sure it really is a dream and notice that my hands look surprisingly normal, only that I had somewhat shorter fingers. I do a nose plug test just to make sure, and sure enough, I'm dreaming.

I follow with some stabilisation techniques, when I rub my hands together I can barely feel my left hand as if it was numb, I remember I was laying on that hand as I done the DEILD so I guess the numbness carried over into the dream.

When I was sure the dream was stable, I decided I wanted to try changing the dream scene. It's something I've never really played around with before. I wasn't too sure where I wanted to go but I just wanted my subconscious to throw me into some whacky environment. My first attempt involved trying to create a "portal" on a nearby wall that I could walk through but with no luck, and doing so made the dream somewhat fuzzy again.

I walk into a bedroom and spin on the spot, figuring that would stabilise the dream and maybe teleport me elsewhere. It stabilised but no teleportation, I did notice that the door I walked into the bedroom from had kind of "warped" though, it was all skewed and kind of a staggered opening now, as if an earthquake had shocked the walls into weird positions.

I walk through the tiny crevices of the wall where the door use to be, and the hall I was previously in was now fuzzy and foggy so I leave that space and go back into the bedroom, again weaving throughout the walls.

I decide I may as well go outside, that I may have some more luck with changing locations out there. I go up to the window and notice a balcony below it that isn't there in real life. I phase myself through the wall/window and down onto the balcony, where I find a bald, blue-skinned woman with light green spots dotted over her face. I think she's tending to a garden or something. I speak to her briefly (though I now forget the conversation) and determine that she's incredibly creepy before slowly backing away.

I remember a tip I got in IRC last night, that running through walls could be a good way to change locations. I see a house across the road with a perfect wall that I could run at so I brace myself, prepare to phase through the wall and start running at full speed towards it. Faster and faster I run, until I smash my face right into the solid rock. I stumble backwards and I'm really disorientated, then I find myself back in my bed

I again follow through with a DEILD, doing the same as I did before and getting the same imagery before opening my eyes, and finding myself in yet another lucid dream.

I'm just outside my house now, my brother's car is parked and it had recently been raining by the looks of it, as everything was slightly wet. To stabilise I thought I'd try something new, just to see how well my senses would hold up. I take my hand and swipe it across the wet car, feeling the smoothness of the car body and the water as it splashed away when I swiped my hand over. I was shocked at how realistic it felt.

I continue with my attempts at changing location in my dream. I try jumping up in the air to begin with, and telling myself that when I fall back down I will phase through the ground into another dream, with still no success.

I heard stories of people "falling" into new dream scenes, so next I follow up by letting myself fall forward, figuring this surely had to work and I would just fall into a new scene. Nope, again I faceplanted right into the ground. I pull myself up from the wet ground, and try to figure out what else I could try.

I walk out into the street, it's somewhat dreary and looks like it's going to rain again. There's puddles on the roads and nobody's around. I see a car at the end of the street just turning down into my road. I again try the spinning method to enter a new scene but I think I was focusing on the sound of the car splashing through the puddles as it drove down the road too much, as I was stuck in this scene. I come to the conclusion that if I untether all of my senses from this scene when I spin that I may be able to slip into a brand new one, so I tense my ears, close my eyes and stop breathing in the fresh-smelling air that occurs after recent rainfall and spin myself around. I open my eyes and find that I had just woken myself up, rather than entering a new scene.

I try re-entry again for a little bit, and I think I would have been able to do it but I was far too excited by this point over the fact that I had successfully chained 2 DEILDs together, and done it after waking from a normal dream too. I decided it was pointless and I didn't want to risk forgetting these dreams as well as the non-lucid that I had before them both, so I gave up and just wrote in my journal.
8. Cows in the Flowers; What is Spinning me in Bed?

by , 06-25-2012 at 06:33 AM (* The Sandman's Dream Journal o/***)
Cows in the Flowers

I dreamed there was an island of flowers in my yard. Three cows were on the little garden area. There wasn't even room on the flower bed for them to turn around, but they stayed right there.

What is Spinning me in Bed?
I felt as though I was spinning by the feet in bed. I opened my eyes (in my dream) to see if I really was spinning. I seemed to be in my bed straight.

I closed my eyes again and paid attention to my body. I really started to spin. Not fast--I simply felt myself moving in a circle as though someone took my feet and was spinning me around.

I thought it was satan, my ex step-mother, or my Dad. All should have been dream signs, and opening my dream eyes should have been a hint that I was dreaming. Oh well.

Trying not to think about Satan (I don't believe in the devil iwl), I called out the name of my ex step-mother. I saw a silhouette of her, but there was a little light showing her dark skin color.

I called out to my Dad.

This is the third dream in the last few weeks where I kind of knew I was dreaming or that something was not real or not right.

Dream skip

I was at a party for a really rich guy. At first I was out doors. His property was huge. It felt like a college campus with grassy areas leading to a wall with a 2 foot drop, then a large walkway laid with brick.

I ended up going with a guy inside. I had a beer that tasted like pink ginger-ale. We went in a room looking for something. I set my beer down, and when we left, I realized I had left my beer in the room.

I went back to look for it and couldn't find it. I went to a back room and couldn't find it. I went back to a bathroom and looked around and finally found it.

I then asked the guy I was with if he wanted something. He said he wanted a quesa dilla with four pieces of something. I then had a small, home made tortilla in my hand with 4 pieces of cheese. I went into a back bathroom to put it together with onion or something. My friend D's wife was in the bedroom. I was hoping she would show me a little something. She never did.
9. "Hey, I feel like I'm spinning..."

by , 05-24-2012 at 01:11 PM (Exploring My Mind)
I recalled a handful of dreams last night, but upon being awake for too long, could only remember this one. Anyways.
Me, my friends Pasqual and Brent, and my Aunt Mindy were all headed to this strange place a place that I can't remember the name of to go get something that was very similar to gasoline.
I hopped in the backseat of the car with my aunt while my two friends took the front seats. As we were riding, I started to have this really odd, strange sensation. Suddenly, it felt like I was spinning in circles in the back seat of the car.
Not like, spinning in place. Like, I was basically floating up and down and around the back seat. I tried to push a hand or a foot out to touch something, anything, to stop the odd sensation. It worked, and everything returned to normal. My aunt was staring at me like I was a lunatic. I explained,
"I think I just had sleep paralysis!"
Okay, that's just silly. SP in a dream? I think I know why dream-me came to this conclusion. Before I went to bed IRL that night, I felt a really odd tingly sensation in my hands and feet, and after a few minutes of this, my foot jerked and slammed down on the bed, and I heard loud breathing and footsteps. This made me think of SP, which probably carried over to the dream.
"Yeah, that must be it," Aunt Mindy said. I couldn't tell if she was being sarcastic or not.
We arrived at this odd place to get that gasoline-like thing. As we walked in, an old man hobbled over to me carrying a large, spiky chunk of wood, and something that looked like a deformed chisel. He handed me both, laughed, and said, "Alright, sonny, now make a perfect cube out of that." I looked up in disbelief, thinking, I can't do this! I looked around and noticed his old friends were watching me, expecting me to do it.
I sort of forget what I did here, but, After working with the odd chisel device, a severely scarred and deformed cube was the result of my hard work. I showed it to the old ladies watching, and laughed, saying, "It's something, right?" They laughed with me. The old guy turned me around and berated me for not being able to make the perfect cube, and he then snatched away the two items. From that point, I was extremely sad till I woke up.

10. 2nd Lucid Dream Feb 13, 2012

by , 02-14-2012 at 09:43 PM
I am in a classroom on a bed listening to a class discussion about historical figures, in English class. The people in the class are acting normal for the most part. The area I am in is a cubic room, very bright, and with a light design all around of a flowery decor. I go to the bed in the class and at first think of going to my dream journal, which isn't there. This is my first sign that I may be in a dream, so I plug my nose and instantly realize that I'm in a dream at this moment due to the breath I am still able to take through my nose. Suddenly my body is lifted up and I feel and hear the shock of electricity and thunder through and within my body. The dream is now very blurry and I feel sick (maybe because I have a cold in real life). I try to keep calm this time because I don't want the dream to end quickly like last time. I find this very difficult. I look around the room and it's the same room as before, but the people are now gone. I look and see instead the imprints of shadows sitting around me, I hear a faint static and thunder all around me, with these shadows only barely in my sight. I decide to do the spin around technique to try to add some clarity to the images around me. I felt indecisive over whether I wanted to change locations or just make the dream clearer. So the class becomes a bit clearer and brighter but only for a moment, then I am back in darkness. At this point the only light is a blue almost ethereal light as though the lightning is spinning around the room, engulfing it. I stumble towards the exit of the room. The door at the exit of this cubic room is a metallic dark green door with a bronze handle, it's size is rather normal. As I reach for the handle I hear a loud echo in the darkness reverberate through my body with a clear easily understood message. "Not everything is as it appears", the message brings another thunderous boom of static through my body. As I look out of the room, I see a corridor, almost as dark as the room I was previously in. I am now both very excited and incredibly scared at what I may see in this corridor, especially after the message that nearly shattered me. As I look around the desolate corridor, my focus is fading. I don't see anything frightening, but the message and feelings of electricity were definitely enough...I wake up, half paralyzed, with my heart pounding in a flurry. Still a very cool experience
11. Lipstick Lucidity

by , 11-22-2011 at 05:25 PM
I found myself in a large, elaborate bathroom. It seemed like it was the bathroom of a nightclub. There were cosmetic products everywhere, and there were a lot of other women primping and making themselves up. I am a sucker for lipstick, so I picked on up off the counter and began applying it. I began to feel frustrated, because this particular lipstick would not stay the same color for any length of time. This triggered the realization in me that lipstick generally does not change color by itself in waking life, so therefore I must be dreaming. I put the lipstick back down on the counter, and walked through the door.

Sure enough, I found myself in an entirely different setting, which supported my suspicion that I was in a dream. I was in a house that I did not recognize. I think I was in the living room. The TV was on, and what was displayed on the screen and coming through the speakers was completely nonsensical. I picked up the remote and pressed the off button, but nothing happened. Now quite convinced that I was dreaming, I decided to try a new trick. I had recently been thinking about creating my own doors and portals. I stood up on the coffee table so I could reach the ceiling. I licked the tip of my finger, and then traced a circle with it on the ceiling, concentrating on making it visible. An outline of a circle glowed faintly in blue. I put my palm in the center of the circle and pushed upwards. There was resistance at first, but then the traced circle of ceiling surrendered and dissolved. I hoisted myself up to have a look. It seemed that I had found the attic of the house. Not too interesting.

I got down off the coffee table and decided to try again on a wall. This time, I drew a door. Again, I pushed with my palms. The wall resisted at first, but then relented. I stuck my head through the new opening. Just another part of the house. Boring.

After playing around with attempting to make some objects in the house levitate, I decided I needed a change of scenery. I found the front door and left.

It was nighttime, and I was on a quiet street somewhere. As I walked, I messed around with various reality-bending tricks. After walking for some time, I felt the dream begin to fade a bit. To regain control, I began studying my hands intensely while doing some basic math and reciting some symbolic logic rules. 4x4=16; p>q, p, q; etc. I passed an older man with dark hair who looked at me strangely. I told him that I was just practicing my times tables and began to walk away. I had second thoughts, and decided to talk to him honestly instead. I asked him if he was real and also having a dream, or if he existed only in my dream. He looked puzzled for a minute and then answered that he wasn't sure. He showed me into a building with a recreational center aesthetic, and introduced me to some other dream characters. These people were sure that they were real and were having their own lucid experiences. We communally recited some multiplication tables to help strengthen our grip on the dream, then went our separate ways.

I decided again that I needed a change of scenery. I began to spin. When I stopped, I found myself in a small, cozy cottage somewhere. A kettle was boiling, and a stripy cat jumped into my lap. Then my alarm went off, and I woke up.

This is one of my usual brief encounters with the lucid world.
All that happened was I walked into my bedroom and immediately said out loud "I am dreaming!" I became happy and walked to the kitchen where I spun around a few times which was a bad choice because my dream body became groggy and I pretty much faded into a regular dream right after.

I awoke in my bed, in my room. My dog (who has passed somewhat recently) ran from the foot of my bed through the door. Then I looked at my old completed puzzle turned picture on the wall. There were clumps of puzzle pieces missing, and behind them was a mirror reflecting a storm out my window. At that I became lucid.

I stood in my room and marveled at the realism of it all, the texture of my sheets and curtains. I touched my hands a bit to stabilize then flew out the window. The window broke into puzzle pieces and stuck in my hair, I was worried they'd block my sight and force me to wake up so I did some flips in the air to get them out. Then I landed in my neighbor's driveway which was surrounded by long flowers. A man drove up in a low golf-carty vehicle and asked me if I wanted 60,000 dollars. I said sure, but in the back of my mind I was wondering if it was some sort of trick my subconscious was playing on me, a test. I asked what I had to give him and he said "10, 20, no 21,000 dollars". I said okay and he drove by a little. Then I decided to try spinning and teleporting to Egypt to visit the pyramids (My loose intent for lucid dreaming) and while spinning, woke up.
15. Lucid dream adventure! (low control though) and a FA

by

, 05-03-2011 at 12:15 AM (Desperation Happiness)
Before the lucid dream started I just remember fragments. Something about eating four-leaf clovers in my bathroom, but I didn't mean to, it was just habit. I was supposed to let someone else eat them. Eating the four-leaf clovers granted superman-like powers.

The next memory I have is being lucid in the hallway outside my room. I wanted to do something other than flying around looking for women so I decided to talk to my parents, I walked to their rooma and asked them what they thought of L. As in, what do you think of me dating her/marrying her. My father said "Well she's not who I'd go with, but she's nice." My mother said "I think you want to have her goals, like her double major and you call her everyday, well you don't call her but you ask her questions."

While they were talking I decided in my mind I'd like to try spinning and teleporting somewhere, I've never done that in a dream. So I started spinning and everything went black. I thought about going to see M, but settled on a wooden cottage. I stopped spinning and came to in an attic where a little boy was playing with a dollhouse cottage with figures in it. He started telling a story with it and his parents were there. I asked if it was haunted and made the shoe toy float (I think it was supposed to represent the mom).

Then I flew straight up through the ceiling (I decided on doing this earlier too). Now I'm among the stars in mostly darkness, I pass over water and the reflection of stars. Then a giant cell phone appears and I can scroll through a student story on the screen with my mind/perspective. It's the beginning with the author's names and I try to read it but it keeps switching perspective like it's in a mirror. I decide I can always check the phone when I wake up so I continue on. Then it starts going black and I start to wake up so I try to fly fast and teleport again but through my eyelids I see red, like light pouring through.

Then I experience one heck of a false awakening!

I awake super tired, it's hard to remember the dream but I lay still and piece it together. I'm still too tired to write it down and consider briefly using my cell phone to record it via voice. I hear movement in the hall. My father is dragging a chair from the closet to the bathroom and left the door opposite mine open. Inside is a two-headed mannequin with a shawl/shirt on. I ask why he has such a frightening mannequin. He opens the other closet and asks me to do something with the car somethings, because they look like whips.

Finally I wake up for real and it takes a moment to realize the first time was a false awakening.
