      Category - WTF/Action

It was World War 3 and I had just entered our safe house. I can't remember what had just happened, but I was shocked and felt weird. I walked up to my friend cliff and slammed him against the wall and said, "WTF was that! Who are you!?!" He smiled and knocked me back to the ground without doing anything. He smiled as I tried to recover and said in a sarcastic tone, "Me? I'm your friend..." There was an uneasy pause and he spoke again, "Just your friend...the Anti-Christ!" I could see fire burning in his eyes. I felt some very odd mixed feelings. I just found out my best friend through my life was the anti-christ and christianity had been confirmed all at once. My mind started racing and I pushed the thoughts out and said, "No, no. That is impossible." Then then lifted his hand and slammed me onto a table without touching me. A blanket wrapped so tightly around me that I couldn't move. He then shot a stream of fire from his eyes and lit the blanket on fire. I was too shocked by the whole situation to do anything. I noticed that they flames weren't burning me at all. I let out a fake howl of pain and acted dead.

Once cliff turned his back, I wiggled my arms until a small space formed. I squeezed my arms in tight and then slammed them outward, throwing off the burning blanket and jumping to my feet. Cliff looked at me and said, "So, how did you like the pain?" I smiled and said, "I couldn't feel a thing." Cliff muttered, "God must be watching over you after all." I then began asking him questions about things that I no longer remember. I looked around the safe house and there were tons of people I knew in there, friends and family. Cliff was trying to get me to join him. I laughed and said, "You told all of these people before me? All that time we spent and you never told me?" I'm sorry, but you haven't chosen a path that I cannot follow. Several people, Jess and Diddy, tried to convince me that the world would be ours. We could have it all. Diddy said, "You could own the Dallas Cowboys. You could be the next Jerry Jones!" I thought about how cool that would be for a moment and then shook my head. I replied, "And destroy the world in the process? Then burn in hell for eternity once I'm dead....Sorry, thats not going to happen. I will not be a slave to anyone...anti-christ or not." I looked at Cliff and said, "Honestly, all those years of friendship." I looked around at all my other friends in the room as well. "All those years...what do I mean to you?" Cliff looked at me with a carefree expression shrugged his shoulders and proceed to mimic stomping a bug." I felt emotion slowly building within. A tear rolled down my face and I looked around and said, "I loved all you guys. So many good memories, gone!" Cliff said, "Then join us." I replied, "I'm leaving. If you have to kill me then do it." Cliff shrugged and said, "If thats what you want. We thought it may come to this."

Cliff then pulled out a butter knife. I reached in my pocket and also pulled out a butter knife. We began an epic butter knife duel. I was running along walls and performing jump stab moves and all kinds of crazy maneuvers. Cliff was also skilled with his butter knife, but it was easy to tell that my butter knife skills were superior. Suddenly, other people in the room jumped in against me. I was fighting in a 30-on-1 butter knife battle. Only a few fought at once though. The others sat in the background and waited their turn (until I knocked somebody down, or through a window, etc.). They stood around us with menacing looks and jabbed their butter knives into the air while growling. Like an old karate movie. I awoke during this epic battle.

It took a few moments for me to comprehend what the f*** all that was. My heart was pumping as I performed a RC (confirmed I was awake), looked in the mirror and said, "What the f***?"

non dream - lucid - non lucid

I’m playing golf with a famous person for some reason.
It’s the first time I play golf, but I’m ridiculously skilled at it and win easily…

(false memories, never seen the place nor the women)

      … I’m back “home”.
I live with my girlfriend in a rather weird house. We cuddle on our bed a bit but suddenly remember that we forgot to get something important from the city…

… We’re in the city now, riding on a train. The train starts braking for no reason. We look outside and see missiles falling from the sky.
We’re scared; it appears a war has just started. Explosions start going off everywhere, one missile hits our track right in front of the train and it starts derailing.
We quickly open our window and jump out before the train falls into the hole left by the missile.
I look up. So this is what the end of the world looks like. The sky is red from all the explosions and fire. Missiles everywhere and fighter jets shooting each other and falling off the sky burning.
We run into the city, trying to make it into the subway system, hoping that we may be safe there. (I've never lived close to a big city or a place with a subway)
As we run through the city, some skyscrapers start falling over and a fighter jet crashes right in front of us. The heat of the explosion hurts and forces us to run into a building.
We leave it on the other side, but another jet crashes straight through the street right in front of us.
We’re both on the very edge of the hole left by the plane, starting to fall in.
I turn myself around and push my girlfriend back up and she barely manages not to fall into the hole… but I do…

… I wake up in some sort of futuristic hospital. There are two nurses attending to me, both wearing something that resembles a hooters outfit more than that of a nurse…

… I’m being told it’s the year 2046. After my fall I was in stasis because they couldn’t fix me up with the current technology.
What I witnessed was the beginning of world war 3. The newly elected president of America was a fanatic Christian and ordered all non-Christians including all Atheists to be killed all over the world.
Now, over 30 years later, everyone is at peace and religious disputes no longer exist, the governments are transparent and censorship no longer exists.
But we’ve paid the price, the current world population is only approaching 1 billion at the moment…

…I’m being interviewed... they ask me about the golf game which confuses me because I don't think it's important.
Next I am asked what my plans are now, considering that all of my knowledge is outdated, yet I haven't aged a bit. I’ll probably have to learn a new job.
I ask the interviewer what the current situation with space exploration is, because I've seen a recruitment poster somewhere.
He says they recently discovered ways to create FTL drives, and an exploration project will start any moment now, they’re actually searching for peoples willing to be trained for space travel.
I tell him that I’ll try to join the program then, in hopes of becoming a pilot…
    4. Although I didn't get to eat the pizza before I woke up.

Candy and aliens, a fragment (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I entered a candy store with my family. My brother had a roll of gum and in the store they had bigger rolls of gum. After that we were in a war room with aliens. Then I remember dressing up as an army comander and walking into the enemy base and managed to threaten them into a ceasefire. Then a couple of aliens parodied the stupidity of what I had done.

My trip to the airport (Non-lucid)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

A family was taking J and me to the airport by car. We were going to study abroad for a month. In the car there was a blonde woman, as well as other people, but i didn't see them. We didn't talk much with the family along the way. My luggage consisted only of a backpack and an old and really small harpsichord with the sharp keys a white colour and the naturals black.

On the way I played some music with J
(I know how a little about playing the piano, but nothing like what I did in the dream) but his tempo was always wrong. I told him so but he got angry and said that he was playing perfectly (I think he was playing the guitar) I asked him if he practised with a metronome and he told me he didn't so I advised him to do it and told him that it had taken me years of playing my bassoon (I do know how to play that in real life at least) to be able to play perfectly on tempo. He said it didn't matter anyway because his guitar was kind of crappy (he has a good one in real life, but then again in real life he knows how to play it well.)

We finally arrived at a town and we got out of the car. I almost left
my harpsichord there. J and I went into a bar and he got each of us a slice of pizza (four cheese).

    5. The War of the Worlds

      by , 01-23-2011 at 05:49 PM
So, I had this insanely epic dream just a few hours ago. I thought I should write it out on dreamviews.

The War of the Worlds - I don't know how it happened, but there was an evil dictator taking over our town. He lived in a giant castle and had any weapon at his disposal. Me and a few friends were the only ones left alive that wouldn't submit to him. Most of our town had been turned into smoking ruins.

It started with just me and a two or three friends. We were trying to get away, to somewhere safe. We knew we couldn't last if we stayed. We were wearing ghillie suits, or some other type of camo. I remember vividly that I had bullet-proof riot gear and helmet, with moss and leaves on top of it all so I could blend in better. My friends and I had only airsoft weapons, why we carried them around, I have no idea.

All of a sudden someone I knew ran out of the bushes. "Dear god, can you help me?" He explained. We told him to hop into our group and we'd get him so camouflage soon. I told him we were heading to my house, and that I had an extra Ghillie Suit he could use to hide in. He agreed and jumped in with us.

When we got to my house, it was quiet. Very quiet. It was odd because that part of the town had not been ruined yet, and my lawn was lush and green. We went to the back, and then we saw some neighbour kids. They were having fun shooting each other with airsoft guns, like they had no idea what was going on. As soon as we got there my friends started shooting at them for fun with our airsoft guns, and it seemed like I was the only one who remembered what was going on. For a second it was like I just wanted to be sucked into this innocent childish game, but I knew something was wrong. Something was out of place. All of a sudden I heard distant booms. Booms of artillery, and that shocked the sense back into me. "MOVE!" I screamed, which seemed to make everyone realize what was going on. I grabbed two people by the collar quickly and began dragging them, running as fast as I can. Seconds later artillery began raining down around us, but thankfully the ones who had moved fast enough were slightly ahead of the bursts. I turned around to see my friend on this old swing-set that had a slide on it. He was trying to scramble down, but he wasn't fast enough. An artillery shell hit the set square on and he was gone. I pressed on with the people who were left.

The artillery barrage began to follow us, someone was tracking our movements. There were more of us now, maybe 8 or 9 total. We were running as fast as we can. I let go of the two I was dragging finally and they began sprinting with us. There were craters everywhere, and the artillery wouldn't stop. All I could think about was making it to a large house, somewhere safe. We ran and ran, until finally we made it to a gigantic medieval Japanese Dojo. We quickly ran inside, where we stayed until the barrage ended. After catching our breaths we walked outside, and we were greeted by the sight of flaming ruins, broken buildings, and bodies. It was impossible to think anyone was still alive. All of a sudden this small Chinese man walked past us, and I couldn't stop staring at him. There was something about him that made me want to run after him. He was wearing this smug smile on his face like he knew what was going on. I was turning to go run after him, up the stairs of the dojo when all of a sudden a dog tried attacking our group. It wasn't some mangy stray dog, but a strong attack dog. We knew who sent it. It got caught in part of a broken fence and my friend tried jumping and kicking it, but that just made the dog angrier. The dog charged me, and I was in no mood for games. When it jumped at me I slammed it into the ground as hard as I could. I felt internal organs rupture and the dog howled as blood poured, and splattered everywhere. I stood up and told someone that we at least had food now, and I went to go sit and figure out a plan on how to get some weapons....

I think there was more after that. I remember a fragment where we WERE armed, stealing weapons from enemy soldiers. We wanted revenge, and that's all we were trying to do. Kill as many of them as possible for what they did to our town, our families, and our friends.

    6. Being Taught to Fight

      by , 01-23-2011 at 04:27 PM (Zukin's Dream Journal! <3)
I was going door to door trying to get donations. I came to one house where they had a swimming pool directly in front of their driveway. They asked me if I wanted to swim with them, but I couldn't because I didn't want to get my jeans wet.

I saw my grandmother walking down their driveway and ran up to her.

"Hey! What are you doing here?" I asked.

"I am practicing walking before they try to get me again," She replied solemnly. I didn't understand what she meant but I walked with her anyways.

I scene began to turn into video game graphics. It looked like something out of minecraft, but better.

We walked in front of a building and I saw a yellow car behind it. It was watching us. I hid behind the tree and waited for the car to move somewhere else and assume that I had passed the building.

I quickly turned the corner in front of the building and nearly ran into a man! He was also hiding. He had a desperate look on his face. He was hiding from the same people.

"Do you know what's going on??" I asked him. We heard the car engine creeping in the distance. We would have to move again soon.

"The war is about to start," He replied while looking around. I didn't ask what that was supposed to mean, I sorta knew.

We started running, and armies of people filled the surroundings. They were shooting arrows at each other and killing each other with swords. We tried to run through this mess but I was shot with an arrow and respawned.

I respawned in a building. I wondered how I was going to help fight in the war. I left the red and yellow building and sneaked around the war.

I came to a building with a purple swirling vortex on the side. At first I was shocked, but then a voice invited me inside - if I dare.

Of coursed I dared to go inside, so I stepped inside the purple vortex and was teleported inside a medium sized room.

In front of me there was a man. Like, a big man. He was overly fit and he wore two large, black boxing gloves on his hands.

"You are here to fight me?" He asked.

      "I could never." I replied.

"You could, but you have yet to learn."

"Do I need boxing gloves?" I asked.

"They are not necessary." I put my hand up to his. My hand was about 1/4th the size. I wondered how I was ever going to fight this guy.

"I do not teach lightly. You either learn and win or you don't."

Upon saying that, he immediately threw me to the ground. WTF. It didn't even take him a split second.

"You must try harder and be aware."

I waited for him to make the next move. I waited like a snake.

He threw a punch and I immediately blocked it - I did a front kick but he grabbed my leg and threw me to the ground - I flipped back up in the air - He tried to put me in a head lock and I blocked it - I swiftly used this position to turn around and punch him in the ribs - He threw me to the ground.

All in less than a split second.

      "Good. Try harder." He repeated.

We repeated the same actions, but I was pulling out martial artistry that I didn't even know I could do! We were so fast it was incredible. We might have tried 500 moves on each other and not more than 5 seconds had passed. Despite his incredible sized, I was able to wrap my arms around his neck and break it, I knew it wouldn't "hurt" him.

"Very good. You are now ready." He said to me. We bowed to each other, and then I left the room via the portal.

Outside, the war was still continuing. An army of warriors dressed in white came at me but I instantly killed them using a few arrows. HAHA.

A team of a few other people and I instantly killed the entire opposing army.

An elderly man flew over to us.

"Hahaha! I see that you have found the old arena of ours!" He said to the man next to me. They were both wearing the same outfit. They were looking at an old ruined building. We went inside and started on the 2nd floor.

The inside was similar to the place I had trained with the insane fighter. It had a different color scheme and there was large holes in the floor, probably from the war.

"This is where he trained as well," The elderly man said to me, clearly referring to his younger successor. The young one had jet black hair.

We jumped down from the holes in the floor down to the next lower floor. The bottom floor was more ruined that the one above it.

"And...this is where I trained. So many years ago." The elderly man said. The floor was lavender and provided a little cushion. The two man sat down in a meditative position and I joined them.

Looking out one of the windows...I noticed that the building was hovering slightly.

I turned my attention back to the inside of the room, but in my peripheral vision I caught sight of a Japanese man shooting an arrow through the window. He looked as if he was the last remaining opponent, trying to kill at least one in revenge or retrubution.

The arrow hit the young man in the neck. His body 'vaporized' and became translucent. His aura glowed a neon green.

"Haha, don't tell me that you are going to lose your awareness over that!" The elderly man exclaimed to the younger one.

"You are very right." He became flesh again, and pulled the arrow out of his neck. He handed the arrow to me. It was green and white with black tips.
    7. 01/11/2011 - "Turf War"

      01/11/2011
      "Turf War"

I was in a hotel, I believe. My mom and Cierra were there. Mom had come out of the room, in a pair of roller blades and a black spandex outfit. She had lost a lot of weight and looked amazing. (She has been working out really hard, lately.) She told me that she was going for a skate and asked if Cierra and I wanted to tag along. I remember just being really proud of her and not being able to believe how much younger she looked.

Later, we were all walking through the hood. I had eventually become lucid, but I don't actually remember how or when. At some point, we came across a large gang milling around, outside of a house. They told us they were preparing for a war, and that a rival gang was coming to their block, to try to take over. They were pretty much recruiting everyone that could, to help fight, and since I was lucid, I figured what the hell.

Along came the insurgency. An enormous group of hoodlums came walking up the street, toward us. I didn't exactly count, but there were definitely 50 or more; tightly packed together, so that they all fit between the curbs of the two-lane street. Immediately, I broke ahead of "my own" gang, and started stalking toward them - smiling. I belted out something along the lines of :"Are you motherfuckers crazy?? You all have no idea what's about to happen, do you??" They didn't even give me the courtesy of a response. They simply opened fire. I continued walking forward, the bullets slamming into me me with all the brute force of pebbles at a concrete wall. I was calmly closing the gap between us, silently reveling in the can of whoop-ass I was about to open on these clowns. Suddenly, from off to my left, a huge dog came sprinting in toward me. I don't figure that it belonged to any of the other gang members, but that it was just a neighborhood stray. Before I could even react, it snapped it's jaws down on my right hand, pulling and tugging at me with the total force of it's body-weight. It really didn't hurt very much, but I couldn't ignore the raw power that was behind the rest of the dog. Even though I knew I was dreaming, and had dissociated from the biting sensation on my hand as best I could, the dog was still causing me to stumble back and almost trip over myself, trying to get free.

I don't remember anything after that.

    8. 01/08/2011 + 01/10/2011 - Fragment; "Blades and Bullets"

by , 01-22-2011 at 07:47 PM (Oneironaut Zero: Dreamwalker Chronicles)

      01/08/2011
(Still been playing a lot of Modern Warfare 2, so I've been having quite a few dreams involving firefights, but my recall has been pretty shoddy and I haven't been remembering very much lately.)

      "Blades and Bullets"

This dream was like a massive round of Team Deathmatch, and it was absolute chaos. It was night out, and the match was soldiers vs. ninjas. Everywhere, people were just running around, taking each other out. The ninjas were using every nook and cranny that could, to launch surprise attacks, whenever possible. We were on some sort of compound, that really didn't have very many walls, but had lets of wooden beams and banisters. It kind of looked like it might have been a Japanese compound, but I can't be sure. The battle was just fast and intense, there wasn't much time to seek cover or anything, just run and gun, whether down on the ground or running over the conjoined rooftops of the compound. Sometimes, either time would get intel on enemy meetings, waiting for large numbers to show up in one place before launching an ambush and taking out as many people as possible.

The last thing I remember is a huge swinging log trap coming down at me. When I dove out of the way, it flew passed and smashed into the base of another enormous tree, causing it to topple over...right toward me. I got up and ran like hell just as the tree crashed to the ground.

      01/10/2011
      Fragment

Another Call of Duty type of dream. I was in the city street at night, fighting waves and waves and waves of opposing soldiers, which were coming in from all angles. It was a lot like the "Body Count" Spec Ops mission on Modern Warfare 2. I took a lot of bullets, and this dream was actually very painful (though I believe I was wearing armor, so I was able to keep fighting). I also had a partner in this dream (I had played this mission with Todd, recently.), but I'm not exactly sure who it was.

    9. The [un]usual fare...

      by , 01-22-2011 at 03:18 PM
Fragments are all I have left of the whole, but still enough to tell a short story.

First fragment was my teeth. I don't remember if I've ever had a dream with teeth falling out, though it seems common in dream dictionaries. My teeth were coming out in bonded multiples, with blood and yet no pain. I could taste it though, reminded me of the unpleasant smell when filing fingernails.

Next fragment had far more detail. I don't remember who I was, may have been just along for the ride as that happens often. Sometimes a part of the person's consciousness, in varying degrees of course. This was a woman in a lawless time...could very well be Vietnam, though along the coast. Very warm water but muddy and stagnant. It was an estuary of sorts, ravaged by war and choked thick with jungle. Everybody traveled by shallow boats, no bigger than five people per dingy. It was a terrible time, so much that gender no longer played a role in daily life. It was past the typical genocide you see in Africa, as in past that event in the timeline.

Groups of soldiers with tattered and incomplete uniforms would patrol the rivers and coast with poorly maintained weapons in small, laughable boats that were no different than any other. The woman I was attached to in consciousness was a broker, making a living on dumping bodies up river. She was tired and numb to her beauty, though I was not. Dark hair, a bit curly, not entirely from this area. I don't remember seeing her eyes, though I would imagine them dull and empty reflections of her mind. It was survival and fear, tinged with a bit of hope.

She was the person to seek for discrete operations. Her boat was different. It was a huge buoy, something that may have been once used in the deep sea, modified heavily into a slow boat with the capacity to carry at least ten bodies.

I joined her just as she was starting the day. She lived in an industrial area, widely vacant and broken from constant war. It was part of a harbor of sorts, as the lower portion of this warehouse had some enclosed docks. To the side of the docks was an open area, fenced in with no view. This was the junkyard, a combination of fresh bodies and miscellaneous vehicles they arrived in. I'm not sure but I get the feeling they arrived without her assistance, anonymous almost.

She was the broker alright, but still retained some sort of anonymity. I don't remember the smell, perhaps because she no longer noticed it. As she came down from her living area, to which I know little more than it existing on the second floor of the warehouse, she walked to the junkyard to find her daily chore waiting. Indifference was her mood, not casual mind you, but a mind numb with casualties.
      ---break in the dream---
She loaded the buoy and set out into the sea, keeping close to the shoreline. As she slowly made her way towards the inlet of a river, her buoy caught on something. It was a common net trap of sorts, weighed down by makeshift anchors to hide just beneath the surface and entangle the propeller of a boat. The trap wasn't much of a concern to her, it was the soldier patrols that kept her on edge. She liked to keep her exposure to those dogs at a minimum distance. Her boat pulled free of the net trap begrudgingly and stopped short of the river mouth.
      ---break in the dream---
She had another boat, small, though I don't know where it came from. She also had some friends with her one woman and two dolphins. The dolphins were playful and didn't seem to even be bothered by the bodies. The two women made their way up a small muddy river and finally came to the supposed place where they had planned to dump the bodies.

Her friend (woman) was also not from this area, with blond hair that was unkempt from the horrid work they did. She had a lighter mood though, and much concern for her/me. As we were laboriously moving the bodies into the reeds a dolphin came up to me, a friend with no name. He/she chirped at me as the dull sound of a motor came from*upriver. I get the feeling it was a friendly warning, as ridiculous as it sounds. It was a patrol. Quickly I told the dolphin to submerge her/himself through a few facial expressions and a gentle tap between the fluke and the dome. The dolphin almost seemed to smile...(it made sense in the dream) and submerged, just as the patrol boat passed by. Soldiers did not like dolphins, and shot them on sight without hesitation. I don't know exactly what it was that we did but it drew no attention from the patrol and they soon disappeared down the river. [end]

There are more fragments, unrelated, but too personal to share.

    10. Mickey Mouse the hero; Cobain memorial follies; Civil War bomber

      by , 01-15-2011 at 04:29 PM
Good morning, everybody. I YouTubed too much last night. So my dream recall wasn't great.

The first dream is based, I think, on all the Epic Mickey posters I see around town. I haven't played the game, but the paint Mickey on the poster is really cool.

      Dream #1

I was in a huge palace. The palace had stone walls and columns which were draped in areas with red velvet tapestries with golden trim. There were alot of people in the palace, all dressed in the outfits of medieval nobility. In particular I remember one woman with a pale pink dress and a pointy, pink headdress with sheer fabric flowing down from its point.

We were all here to address some coming danger. There was a killer or there were killers who were coming to attack the kingdom. Some person needed to step up to fight this danger.

Suddenly, from off a high pedestal near the front of the palace, Mickey Mouse jumped down, heading toward where I stood, more toward the middle or back of the palace. Mickey didn't quite look like himself. He was sleek black, as if he were made out of shadow or liquid. His shorts may now have been dark blue with star designs on them. He looked like some kind of mystical figure. I may have come to understand that he was a knight.

      Dream #2

I was part of some concert held in honor of Kurt Cobain. I don't know if we were in rehearsals, but we kept repeating the same part of the show. It was supposed to be some kind of emotional performance where one person started out on the stage, singing and playing an acoustic guitar, and then, one by one, more performers would come out on stage, until a big group was singing the song.

I kept coming out for my part, which involved just singing. But each time I came out for my part, someone would point out some way in which I'd messed up. We'd go back and do it again. I really started losing confidence. Then I eventually got the feeling that everybody in the show actually hated me, and they were just hoping to criticize me until I quit.

I was a little worried that the reason they hated me was because I was a bad singer. But I resolved to keep on singing, in spite of my fears.

At first, I think Dave Grohl was the first person out on stage. But eventually, Kurt Cobain himself was the first person out on stage. Eventually, I was the second person out. I may actually have been playing an acoustic guitar and singing at this point.

      Dream #3

I was watching a situation as though I were watching a movie, although I could also feel the actual environment of the situation. It was Civil War time. There was a high ranking man out on an open field with another man. The high ranking man was older, blonde, and tan, with a trimmed beard. He wore a pale blue-green uniform. The other man was short, a little pudgy, and balding. He was probably Mexican. He was kind of a groveling type.

The Mexican man was pleading with the military man about something, and the military man was just laughing the Mexican off. But the Mexican man was actually just stalling the military man while his cohorts were planting a bomb on the military man.

Eventually the Mexican man, still in a groveling way, informed the military man that he had a bomb near him and that he was going to be blown up presently. The military man started to panic, trying to get way. But then I suddenly had the view, from a distance, of the bomb going off. It had obviously killed the military man.

The scene repeated itself, maybe more than once. There was now a shrub on the field, behind which the cohorts hid. There was also a table, at which the military man and the Mexican man alternately sat. I also saw the bomb, which was like a silver sphere (or a Pokemon ball) about 10cm in diameter with a fuse coming out the top. Once the bomb was placed by the military man's right foot. Another time, it was placed directly on the table.

I then saw a scene where the cohorts lit the bomb's fuse from far away. The end of the fuse may have had something on it like the bomb sphere. The smoke from the fuse snaked through spaces between desert shrubs. It had a long way to go before it finally got to the military man, but, as my view followed, I felt a terrible sense of fatality.
    11. Lock In party...Legos?

      by , 01-09-2011 at 06:32 PM
So right before I fell asleep I was texting my friend, and he said he was at a lock in party at a skating rink. (i really have No idea)

I began dreaming that I was at the skating rink at the lock-in. However, the place wasnt a skating rink at all. It was a huge gym-like room with a tower of enourmous legos at the end. I walked up to my friend KW (lets call him that) and told him HAH, I'm here >8D (i was mad that he wouldnt let his friends text me, i was bored) NOW I can talk to your friends! So I walked towards the big mountain, where most of the other kids were. They seemed to be climbing it, but I couldnt tell what else was going on up there, so I climbed up. The legos were eneourmous, so it seemed like we were all lego people. I found small treasure chests but ignored them. Others were climbing up around me, and people seemed to be coming down too, but they were lego people, and they were zombies or pirates. Others of my kind were fighting them to the death, with swords and fists and ninja stars. There was blood all over the lego people, and all over my people, but not on the ground. We all began working our way towards the center, which seemed like a fortress of some sort.

I stabbed a few zombies and worked my way up, and reached the fortress thingy. There was a lego king man there, and he was fighting too, but he was really powerful. Finally all of us fighters got to him and took him down. Everyone then started jumping down from the mountain, and it ...respawned, i guess. It was a different layout and the king was somwhere else, and we did it all over. I have no idea how long this went on, maybe all night.

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was climbing across a giant bookshelf (I think there were books but I'm not sure) while a narrator with a really cool voice told me the story of a princess and a prince who had married each other without being in love. To compensate they bought each other really expensive gifts. I could see really expensive jewels in the bookshelf. Later there was a war and the princess divorced the prince and then she married another guy who was a hero. After reaching the end I began climbing across the bookshelf again and heard the first part of the story again but the section where I had been told that the hero had married the princess was now blocked.

Notes: Nice! I didn't expect to remember anything in new year with how little I slept.

Dreamsigns: The narrator, jewels from the story and why was I climbing a bookshelf?
    14. 12/30/2010 - "A Lesson In Na'vi Pain Management"

"A Lesson in Na'vi Pain Management"

(Tried a little dream incubation, this morning, and paid for it. I had turned on Avatar, focusing on my intention to draw myself into the movie, through DILD. Unfortunately, it worked. Quite possibly the most painful dream I have ever had in my life. I wasn't even on B6, but I did have a good liquor buzz when I went to bed. It was just as intense, though.)

I was Jake from Avatar, standing high in one of the mighty, cloud-scraping trees of Pandora. The war with Quaritch was soon coming, and the rest of the Na'vi were off somewhere, preparing for battle. I was being trained by a man who identified himself as an old arch-enemy of mine. He looked human, but this dude was huge; bigger than I was, even at Na'vi size. (He kind of looked like this picture of Heihachi Mishima, but thicker, with longer limbs, and completely bald.) According to this guy, I wasn't ready to face Colonel Quaritch. I was still "just Jake," and - as this guy would tell it - was not accustomed to my Na'vi form enough to maximize potential. So, he was about to teach me about how to manage my pain. Apparently, as I had somehow already known, this powerful man was planet-renown for his skills, and my best move would be to listen to everything he said. I braced myself, knowing I was going to be in for a tough trial.

Suddenly, I was rocked in the stomach, with a fist that would have caused a human being to explode on contact. Another one followed, with yet another close behind. Before I knew it, I was on my knees, in agony, my ribs feeling like they were being beaten in with a baseball bat. He didn't stop, though, screaming at me to get up, before slamming me with another body shot. This man was definitely not human. His strength was something out of a video game, and I could swear I was able to sense the shock waves jetting off of each punch to my midsection.
I honestly don't know of many times I've ever felt pain like this - if any. The blows rained in on me...almost rhythmically. He was in no rush. Just punching away, at his leisure. Completely unprepared for this, I tried desperately to drag myself away from him; helpless.

I didn't know if he was supposed to be teaching me or was actually trying to kill me. That was until he began to explain how I had the potential to block all of the pain out of my mind, and maintain focus and endurance for battle. He said that it was something that all warriors were able to do, and that I would be able to tap into the Na'vi's ability to do it at an accelerated rate. He wasn't exactly nice about it, though... Each punch would drive itself into my gut, and I would yell out in pain, this man's only response being to yell back at me for not taking it like a warrior.

...I definitely didn't feel like a warrior, at the time...

More punches came, and I was now in too much collective pain to fight back, even if I wanted to. Still, I dragged myself along the gargantuan branch beneath us, which easily supported our bodies, without wavering. He was all over me, though, and just would not fucking let up. He jumped from one side of me to the other, anytime I would start trying to scramble away a little more quickly. Each punch was now starting to bring me closer to tears, already having me openly screaming out with each torturous thud - and he could see it. He picked me up to my feet, my body practically limp, and glared at me sternly. Holding me up with one hand and barking at me to stop crying, he slammed more punches into me with his free hand, and each one was no less devastating than the last. I was being brutally beaten, and it was more than I could bear.

The gnarled look of torment in my face was slowly turning into a snarl of determination. I knew I couldn't just sit there and let him beat me to a meat-sack of pulverized bone. My eyes locked on his, and my fists tightened, every muscle in my body soon following suit. Immediately, he picked up on this and sneered, growling "WHAT?! ARE YOU ANGRY?! HUH??" through his teeth. His eyes were on fire with the a display of malice that just couldn't have been false. This was becoming a life or death situation. I felt my legs strengthen beneath me, beginning to stand up straight, slowly, but almost involuntarily. The pain was sequentially residing as the fist continued to pound away. I was getting stronger with each blow, able to sense that each punch would still have left a crater upon the trunk of the enormous tree we were in, yet I was becoming increasingly unable to feel them.

After a few more seconds of the onslaught, I was standing up tall, glaring at him with a scowl. Finally, he stopped punching, glaring back at me, still looking at me like a mortal enemy, but no doubt gauging my stoicism, after such a merciless attack. From what I could tell, he had decided that I must have been successful in my ascension. My torso still burned from all angles, but my entire muscular structure felt tightened and invigorated. The pain was still there, and it was damn intense....but I just didn't care. He told me that I was now ready for battle...

My recollection of the dream skipped ahead, and I was then running and jumping through the towering trees with a female Na'vi. She swung across a gap between branches, on a vine, and I did the same, right behind her. The two of us landed on another branch, this one just barely big enough for us to fit upon. When we landed, I took a sweeping glance down toward the ground - hundreds of yards below us - and I felt my stomach turn. It was the first time that I realized just how high up we really were. I found myself thinking "what the hell am I doing way up here?" and I think this could have eventually led to lucidity. However, all chance of that soon disappeared, when our attention got drawn to the sight of the Colonel's aerial gunships flying in over the landscape, toward our village. What might have been our last run through the trees was now over, and it was time to go to war.

(I woke up here, and the movie was actually just getting to the final battle, practically in sync with the content of my dream, leading me to believe that some of the audio might have been seeping into my dream content, when I was beginning to awaken. I was hungover, and it seemed to take some time for the pain in my stomach to fade. Instead, it seemed to go to my head , which was throbbing. Even some time after all of this, sitting at the computer, I had to hug my stomach, just because it seemed like the faintest - probably just mentally projected - trace of that horrible pain still lingered.

Not the best sleep I've ever had...)

    15. Noble six, Mr Wonka and the space hulk.

      by , 12-30-2010 at 12:54 PM
Finally, a dream that last longer than 6 lines

      First Dream

I seem to be noble six (Halo reach XD). Im with the rest of noble team in this large, underground building. I feel depressed, because the other team members keep underestimating me because im the newbie. The room is like an octagonal prism, with a reverse jewel shaped ceiling. The smaller octagon at the top is faintly glowing blue. The whole chamber is about 30 - 40 meters high. Above me I can see a second floor with a (you guessed it) octagonal hole in the middle. From this hole 2 ramps descend, merging into one in the middle and ending up on the ground beside me. The walls are like thoe in halo reach forge. For those of you who havent played it, they're large metal panels with a thick metal border. Inside the border is a light blue transparent panel with metal behind it. It functions almost as a mirror. The leader, Carter, is explaining how we're going to attack this fortress from underneath. I continue to listen, but turn and look in the mirror - like wall. I'm a brown and silver ODST spartan. Everyone gets up and begins to leave. I sort of feel too depressed to even slaughter aliens. But then Kat waits for me, and cheers me up with a pep talk I run out of the room and into a firefight. I remember little about it, other than it was a massive L shaped room and we suffered no casualties. We somehow warp up into the fortress. We're now standing in a gargantuan octagonal (seeing a pattern?) courtyard. There is a huge wall running around the edge. People are living in the huge white walls, and there are many windows looking out. In the center of the courtyard is a command building. Guessed the shape? Keep pressing and guessing! You: Is it an octagonal prism? Me: Its the right answer! you've won 250 pounds! *cheering* *applause* Yeah... I approach a ramp winding around the side of it. Grabbing a rocket launcher, I run up it. Two robot jackals block my path. I take out the first with four rockts and the other tries to flee. I corner him by a barricade and blow him up. I make it to the top of the building and have to fight two psychic aliens. They use their abilities to throw baricades, bodies, dumpsters e.t.c. at me. I dodge them and gun them down with a machine gun. At last, the fortress is secured! We somehow know that the enemy will try to retake the fortress, so we all grab sniper rifles and camo cloaks. I climb through the residential flats to reach the top of the wall, and odly enough find comic-book-guys room. He's not in. I climb up his junk and go through a skylight onto the wall. I try to find a position to guard but people keep getting there before me and saying that its their spot. I try to shoot an enemy down below, but my gun shoots tennis balls. The dream fades.

      Second Dream

Me, Ramona Flowers and two nameless guys are standing near this green slope. There are grooves cut into the slope, and several holes as well. Mr Willy Wonka and Charlie's grandpa are running marbles through the grooves, and are using blocks and strange tools to try and make the runs more and more complex. Apparently the rule is the ball has to go in a hole. We watch for a bit, but in the end we get bored (and ceeped out that Mr Wonka is wearing lipstick ) and exit through a door. The next bit is in fragments. Theres a map of a mall with shops down the sides and a crahsed, parasite infested space hulk in the middle... an old man telling us to destroy the ship... shooting mutant shark men... our own ship... Ramona grabbing me by the shoulders and angrily yelling "Did he activate the #2 ?!?" Then the dream sort of collapsed.

      To summarise:
      • Me and noble team clear out a fortress
      • Mr Willy Wonka has strange habits
      • Ramona has anger management issues

      Stay tuned!
