    1. First lesson in time dilation

      by

      , 04-20-2012 at 09:17 PM (Hyu's Adventures)
A similar music track played during the training part of this dream:

I'm some sort of private investigator, and I'm searching for evidence with 2 coworkers in an apartment.
I quickly realize that I don't seem to have any gloves on me and ask one of my friends to give me some.
After putting on the gloves I go to the kitchen and start opening all the cabinets.
I wonder what I'm looking for...

"Hey, what are we looking for again?"
      "Are you serious?"
      "Uuh... yeah..."
"*sigh* we're looking for a quantum accelerated pipe."

      ... wait what?

      "Like, for smoking?"
      "For smoking weed, yes."

      A quantum accelerated... wtf?
I keep searching and end up finding the most glorious of smoking devices I have ever seen.
It seems to be made out of some sort of glass and it glows in all kinds of colors, depending on how you angle it against the light.
But then finally it dawns on me... a quantum accelerated pipe... yeah... right...

I rub my hands and further investigate the pipe.
I am sad to find out that it isn't loaded. I would have loved to smoke some weed.

I remember that Yuya told me that I should break out of the dream plot when I become lucid.
Oh! And she wanted to teach me about time dilation!
I become very excited and quickly teleport myself to Teraluna.

I end up in a flower garden. Yuya is attending to some flowers right in front of me.

      "Yuya Yuya Yuya"
      "Hi?"
      "Hi! Time dilation and stuff!"

      She grins.

"Calm down! You're going to wake up."

      Right...
After attempting to get myself into a calmer state I take a look at my surroundings.
The flower garden is beautiful. All of the flowers are very colorful and they smell great.
I touch and smell some of them until I decide that the dream is perfectly stable.

"So... the thing you call time dilation."
      "Yes!"
"Well, for starters it isn't really time dilation."
"I guess. I couldn't think of a better word to describe it."
"Right. So, there's quite a few ways to approach this."
"I'm pretty sure I know which way works best for you, but first of all we need to work on something else."

      "Oh?"
"Well, it's sort of directly related."
      "Sure, what is it?"
      "Your awareness in dreams."
"I've noticed that you sometimes are extremely aware when you're here, but only for short periods of time."
"You experience awareness in short bursts rather than continuously"

I quickly realize that she's spot on about that.

"Yeah, now that you mention it, it's pretty bad."
"Good, so first of all I am going to show you a technique to hold a certain level of awareness."
      "Great!"

      She drops the flowers.

      "Let's go for a walk!"

We walk through the flower garden and talk some more about time dilation.

      "Alright, stop!"
      "Hm?"
"I want you to tell me the color of each flower on the plant we just passed, without looking."
"Err, sure? Let's see... it was green, yellow, blue, yellow..."
      "No, you're cheating."
      "I am?"
"You're using your sense of global awareness to tell what color they are without looking, what I need you to do is to remember what color they are."
      "What? All of them?"
"Yes! I want you to remember every single detail of what you experience."
"Let's keep walking and pay attention."

This is going to be hard... like, really hard.
Is it even possible to do this?

"Sure it is, especially since you're dreaming. Remember when I told you the difference between focusing on something in waking life and in dreams?"
      "Oh yeah, that's right."

I focus really hard on everything I see, even the smallest of details, and try to take mental note of them.
We walk past a similar plant, with approximately 50 flowers on it.

      "From top to bottom, go!"

I try to remember and surprisingly, accessing my memories feels natural and easy.

"Red, red, yellow, blue, yellow... err, ultraviolet?, red, blue, blue..."

I keep going through about 20 of them until Yuya stops me.

      "Hey hey, awareness!"
      "What? Was I wrong?"
"No, but you're neglecting your awareness. Have you noted the details of the things we just passed?"
"Oh... oops. Wow, this is hard."
"Haha, see, just memorizing and remembering is easy."
"What I want to teach you is to remain aware of your surroundings, even if you are focusing on something else."
"If you can do that you should be able to continuously remain aware much more easily."

      This makes so much sense!
Yuya is so amazing, why haven't I asked her about this before?

We keep doing this. I memorize all the flowers including other details and try to recite them from memory without loosing awareness of the new surroundings I encounter through walking.
It's really hard at first, but then it becomes surprisingly easy.
I feel like a genius, having such amazing memory all of a sudden.

Since I focus so hard on my vision, it becomes more and more intense.
I can see beyond the color spectrum visible to the human eye.
Ultraviolet and infrared, I can see them so clearly.
They aren't red or violet at all, they are entirely different colors.
The now 5 base colors start merging together to form new ones.
      Everything is so beautiful.

It is so hard not to get distracted by this beauty. I have to remain aware of everything.
But it works! I can quite literally feel my awareness leveling out and remaining strong as I go along.

Yuya keeps asking me more and more difficult questions.

"How did this plant smell like?"

I can no longer answer these question with words, so I project my memories towards her, showing that I remember clearly.
We go on like this for some more minutes.
I feel like I have just achieved something major.
I have never ever experienced such an amount of focus.

We finally reach the end of the flower garden.

      "And stop!"
      "Okay?"
"Yep, time to relax, you cannot possibly keep this up much longer."
"Oh, I can't? It started to feel natural some moments ago."
"Still, if you keep that level of focus up for too long your brain will just spontaneously break out of it."
"You'll either loose all your awareness or even wake up."

"So it would be a bad idea to try and do this all the time?"
"Yes. You can do it for a limited period of time, for example during a battle where you need the extra focus."
"What I'm teaching you is to remain at a constant level of awareness."
"The important part here is that it is constant, not that it is on a level where you have surreal perception and memory."
"The goal is to never let it drift below a certain threshold, this way dream stability should remain high."

I understand her so well, her explanations are perfect.

"It's just more efficient for you to learn it this way."
"Not everyone is capable of achieving such a level of focus."
"It's something you often find in dreamers that are experienced with dream battles."

Dream battling has so many uses, how amazing.

"So dream stability is directly related to your level of awareness?"
"Well, yes, sort of. It's complicated."
      "It always is."
"Actually, it is really simple... like most things."
      "Yeah right."
"It's the painfully simple things the human mind cannot comprehend."
"After all your mind is trained to understand the complexity of the waking world, not the simplicity of the dream world."

      Wow. That is deep.
I have never thought of it this way.
Yuya never ceases to amaze me.
She just drops these mind blowing ideas on me, as if they were the most obvious things in existence.

"Should I try to do this awareness technique in waking life?"
"No. At least not right now. You said you have constant headaches."
      "Yeah, probably a bad idea."

She smiles and gives me a big hug.

      "We'll continue this next time."
"Wake up and write this down so you don't forget it."
      "I will! Until next time!"

Wake up... Have I ever tried waking up from a dream that wasn't a nightmare?
Heck, even a nightmare I haven't tried to wake up from in forever.
I close my eyes and command myself to wake up with my inner voice.
I feel a tingling sensation all over my body.

      I open my eyes.
A quick nose plug RC confirms that I am awake and I start taking notes, excited to have taken my first step towards properly long dreams.
    2. Lucid #22 Park, Volcano

      Non-Drean/Comments Dream Lucid

      16.02.2011

I am mountain biking with a some random guys. I leave the bike at a small metal house. We start hiking. We suddenly start walking back. Someone sees a crack in a big rock. It's a BIG crack! Soon there is a giant lava pool in front of us, like a volcano. The ground starts shaking and moving towards the lava. We have to get out of here. We run back where we came from, but there is water everywhere... No second thoughts, we swim! The water is warm from the whole volcanic thing. It starts snowing... WTF? Something is wrong, that's for sure, but the only thing I think of is getting out of here as fast as possible! My bike is at the bottom of the water (like 5 meters down), but if i get it I will ride down the mountain faster. I find it with the front tire slightly damaged, but works. Off I go!
      Dream scene changes.
I am in a city after that bike adventure. I reach a tavern and I see some other bikers in there too. I walk into that place, some guys are waiting for me. We sit in a big table and some random guys join us... Then the waiter brings us fried potatoes, but we hadn't ordered...

Maybe after leaving the tavern, I find myself in a pretty big park. I go towards the road. I see some guy trying to un-park and another trying to quickly park there. They start shouting. I walk by the road and then I see some friends talking about the mountain thing. One of them seems confused, so I join the conversation to tell the story straight. The guy seems focused on the story. As I am talking there is a noise in my ears, like a bug flying around my head. No matter how hard I try to dissipate it, I can't actually do it, because I can't see it. I shout "STOP" and then it stops.
I become lucid right away. The dream is clear and stable. I observe the environment. One of my friends is still here. So I start showing off... My control is pretty sweet. There is a plane flying over the city so I say "fall", and then it stops in the air and starts falling. I did that many times. Then there is a bus passing in front of us. I say "BOOM" and snap my fingers... Nothing... "Fire!"... Nothing. That seemed a little annoying because it was the only one that didn't work. I did many stuff like this in that dream, but I didn't get to write it when i woke up. I also remember seeing a wall with a word on it. The word (if it exists) had the letters A B D J. Then I see a intense, but not bright, light rising up. It's the sun, that came up within a few seconds. I don't think it was night before that though... The colors seem a little strange. I do a nose RC and try to feel my weight, but the dream is fading...

In my last 2 lucids I wanted to look for my dream guide, but in both of them I got into stupid stuff and forgot my goals...
    3. The Dream Academy Part 1

by , 10-29-2011 at 03:13 AM (Dreams of a Hooded Figure (and his trusty sidekick 8))
(The following was a very long dream, so I will post it in differnet parts...)

It started on a train. I was standing alone in my car, watching as we passed red lights every three yards or so. We went through a forest, then under a mountain, it stopped at the edge of a lake. All I could see was a magnificent series of buildings of different shapes and sizes, each with a unique color light around it. Thre was the rectangular green building, medium height, some round windows, others only slits moving horizontaly along the edge. The mountain shaped red building to its right, a bit taller, no visible windows. There was the wave shaped building behind both, blue almost completely made of glass. The pointed yellow building was last (now that I think of it, these colors are like the ones from the houses of Hogwarts) this building was the shape of an upright needle, only with horizontal slits for windows, placed at the far back, a bit right of the blue building.

I don't know how it happened, but I teleported across the lake, only after that did I realize I was dreaming. I was introduced to the headmaster, I don't remember much about how he looked or acted, he sort of just existed. I was then brought into the green-lit building where I hung out in the lobby.

I sat in a teal beanbag chair and observed the inside, I was sitting next to the stairs, they were wood and went up the center of the room. The rug underneath me was a greyer teal and all around the room were balconies, going all up the walls. I figured they lead to our rooms and I soon found out I was right.

I noticed a girl and a boy, both with brown hair, sitting in beanbag chairs at a low, wooden table across the room. I walked over to them.

      "Where am I?" I asked.

      They replied, "the dream academy"

The girl spoke on her own, "Hi, I'm (I can't remember, so I'll call her 8) 8," I just realized how beautiful she was, "7 (what I'll call the guy) will show you around."

7 stood up and lead me up the stairs only one floor, he opened a door on one of the balcanies and showed me in, the walls were all white and there was one big round window at the end of the room, beside it was the bed. I looked out the window and saw the sun setting, but it was already night, was it rising? The sky actually turned orange and when I turned around, 7 was gone. I walked out of my room back down to 8. She layed out some cards on the table.

"What are these for?" I asked.

"They're to help our abilities while dreaming." she replied, I noticed her smile at me.

I observed the cards for a minute, "These are Yugioh cards," I said.

"Good, you recognized them, now go outside and find some people with cards."

I went outside, under a white bridge connecting the green and white building, I saw the headmaster, all I remember is asking him whay there were different colored buildings, I think he answered but I don't remember anything having to do with him.

      -to be continued...

    4. Dancing with Yuya

      by
      Hyu
      , 08-12-2011 at 09:26 PM (Hyu's Adventures)
With yesterdays successful DILD, I decided to attempt to WILD today.
I set myself an alarm to go off after 5 hours of sleep, but I fell back asleep immediately after turning off the alarm. ~_~

I'm at some sort of party, but it all seems a bit weird.
There's mostly older people, and everyone is dressed very nicely.
I notice that I myself am wearing a suit.
The place has an absolutely huge dance floor, and everyone seems to be dancing.
I feel completely out of place and sort of at a loss what to do.
I'm not just going to ask a random 40 year old women to dance now am I? Plus I can't really dance...
I walk towards what seems to be a bar, contemplating to awkwardly have a drink while everyone else is dancing.

But on my way to the bar I notice that the lighting in this place is rather odd.
      Everything seems so... gray?
It's not like everything is lacking color, but everything seems so desaturated and sort of sad.

But then I see her, the women in red.
She's wearing a really nice red dress and seems to completely violate the current lighting setup in this room.
Even though everything else is desaturated and lacks contrast, her dress is extremely bright, to the point where it nearly blinds me.
My curiosity draws me towards her, and as I get closer, I realize who it is...
      Yuya!

As I become lucid, all the colors become brighter, and the whole scene becomes somewhat normally lighted, except for Yuya, who still stands out quite a bit.
She's the only one by herself, and is just standing there in the center of the dancefloor.
Trying not to get too excited, I approach her. She doesn't see me coming because she's staring in the opposite direction, but she probably knows that I'm approaching her anyways.
As I get closer I'm a bit surprised to see that her hair is all wet.
      I whisper in her ear:

      "Wanna dance?"
      "Of course!"

We start to dance to some music I don't really know. I'm a bit worried that I might suck at dancing, but everything works out surprisingly well.
Her wet hair smells of Teraluna.
The dancing is rather energetic, we turn around quickly and the background turns into motion blur, so I can only see Yuya clearly.
This makes it rather difficult not to stare at her, especially because she has those extremely beautiful and bright eyes with infinite details.
The glowingly bright dress isn't really helping either.
But after some time I manage to relax and enjoy the dance.
Everyone else appears to go away, leaving the dance floor to Yuya and myself.

It's a bit weird seeing her in a red dress. She's always wearing white, blue or green, basically cold colors, which are dominant in my dreams.
My last dream already featured a surprising amount of warm colors, how weird. Has something changed?
We dance for some more without talking. We share some thoughts which I unfortunately cannot remember.

The dream starts to fade away and I know there is no way to stabilize it. Somehow I'm aware that it's late and I'm waking up.
I give Yuya a big hug and the dream ends.
    5. Wheels Everywhere! Non Lucid 7/10/11

by , 07-10-2011 at 10:00 PM (Mancon's Wild and Crazy Adventures in the Dream World)
I was in a glass cage on the bottom of a hill. Different colored wheels started rolling down the hill, barely missing the glass cage. Behind me was a town full of people who were running my way. They somehow stopped the wheels and got me out of the cage. They started talking to me, but I forgot what they were saying.
      ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
      Another dream:
I was reading a book on a beach when a lifeguard yelled for everyone to get out of the ocean because of the sharks coming our way. I looked up and saw someone bleeding on their leg with blood all in the water. Everyone looked confused and panicked.
    6. End of the World/Creation of Colors

      by , 06-27-2011 at 06:02 AM
Okay, so I had this one a really long time ago, and only remembered snippets of it in the first place. But for some reason while I was reading my friends' latest dreams, I remembered this, and so I wanna record what I can so I don't forget it completely.

It was a really epic dream, and it felt like it lasted a long time. At one point I think I was God, or something. All I remember is: 1) Something about being in a city and being decapitated by my friends, then being the friends and trying to hide 'my' body by wrapping it in plastic wrap and burying it somewhere. The city was like on fire/collapsing and everyone was dying. When it turned into a third person view, everyone turned on each other and started cutting off their friends' heads, like that would save them or something. 2) Eventually the view zoomed out so I could see the whole world. Like I said before, I felt all powerful, like I was the one ending the world. For some reason Earth had no gravity. I don't know how to describe this, but people were grabbing onto the edge of the world (even though it's a circle), holding on for dear life, but eventually they all fell off and died. Some people let go willingly. I remember one of the last people to fall off was a 'friend', one of the people who killed 'me', but she let go on purpose. (A good way of describing this scene: Titanic, when the boat is completely vertical. Except the boat is now the world. And some people want to die.) 3) Now I am most definitely God. I watch the city-world burn down. Volcanoes erupt and cover the world in magma. When it hardens the world is brown, then black and dark. Everything is on fast forward, so the time lapse here is like millions of years, but it goes by super fast. This last part there's no way of describing. It's like trying to explain to a blind person what a color looks like, damn near impossible. But, as God, I watched all the colors be created. At the end of this, the visible colors formed a rainbow (don't ask what I mean by 'visible'). Something happened with the rainbow that again, i can't describe, but afterwards everything was in color. 4) After the freaky color thing was over, water and plants came back. It was like I was starting the world over. I started to make an amoeba type thing (well, watch it be made, but it felt like I was doing it). Then the dream ended.

    7. Psychedelic trip

non dream - lucid - non lucid

I'm not sure sure at which point I started dreaming, or if I dreamed all of it, and when exactly I was lucid.
So I'll go ahead and mark things with colors like I experienced them.
In other words if I thought I was awake I'll mark it as if I was, even though I don't really know.
I have never taken any mind altering drugs, I wonder if it's anything like this...

      _______

I wake up in bed... I still feel very tired.
The room is very dark and I lately leave the shutters just slightly open so I can see if it's already day when I wake up.
I assume it's still night and I want to continue sleeping.
I notice I haven't moved yet and I don't seem to sense my body.
The thought of WILD'ing crosses my mind.
It's been quite some time since I've attempted to WILD, so why not.

Right as I try to relax, the little colors I see become somewhat bright and start changing.
This was fast? I never get HI this fast, this is weird.
I realize I'm floating over my bed. Am I already dreaming?
Was I having a false awakening? I never get visuals like this when I'm dreaming though.
As my room lights up I realize that I am floating in some sort of tunnel. The room is no longer there.
I'm gently descending this tunnel of colorful clouds and lights.
I suppose I'm actually falling, but I'm falling so slowly that I'm not worried.
I actually enjoy it quite a bit, it's very relaxing.

I can hear ambient music. (something like this)

I try to focus on a color cloud. It is clearly changing it's color all the time, but I can't actually see it changing.
It changes colors right in front of my eyes, but I don't see the change, I only realize it has changed.
This has me perplexed for quite some time. Am I really dreaming? or can you actually have HI this strong?

After some time I am floating in my room again, except it's lit now. The spotlights in my room are on but they
have different colored bulbs in them.
Somehow my room looks much bigger than it is in waking life, but somehow everything is still the same size.
I don't understand how this is possible and hover over to my desk.

I take a can of coke from it because I want to know what it tastes like.
But the can is very weird. It seems way too small, but upon closer investigation it isn't.
I cannot tell if it's a normal size or a tiny can. I can't understand why I cannot distinguish this.
I wonder if this is what tripping feels like? A friend once told me he couldn't tell sizes apart when he was doing some sort of drug.

The lid of my laptop opens up by itself and it goes out of standby.
I am presented with the Visual Studio project I was working on last night.
I was working on a physics engine and needed to add support for air resistance into it, but I was too tired and went to sleep.
I don't understand why this was so hard...

I go to wikipedia and copy paste the equation for drag straight into my code.
The equation appears and the program starts on my second monitor.
I can see the numbers in the equation changing as stuff moves around in the game.
I need to test if it feels realistic, so naturally, I climb into my monitor to see if the falling physics are correct.

I'm falling down yet again, I'm in the game, but I can still see the monitor with the equation as well.
I see both things at the same time.
Whilst I am falling with my first body, I correct an error in the formula with my second body which is still in front of the pc.
I feel the corrections take effect with my in-game body and understand that everything is correct now.

I hit some key that does something and my bodies merge again and I'm back in my room.
The color clouds are back, but I can still see my bed.
But I can't see myself in it which surprises me. I was assuming to find myself sleeping in it.
I go closer and see a pulsating light where I'm supposed to be.
It's beautiful. I go closer and it turns into a galaxy.

I am now floating through this galaxy of colorful stars. I am relaxed... I feel at peace...

    9. Lucid in a night setting

      by , 10-24-2010 at 03:43 AM
My latest lucid dream was at night. I found it quite interesting because it was the first dream I can ever recall that was in a night time setting. I remember there were street lights that were cylinder shape and they almost seemed detached from the poles. I remember being fascinated by how beautiful they were. The way I confirmed that I was in a dream was by counting my fingers. I counted 8 fingers on my right hand and then started counting my left hand as if that was normal but I stopped myself and thought wait a minute 8 fingers, I'm dreaming. When I first heard this technique I was worried about using it because I thought it would kind of freak me out but I actually found quite humorous. Of course the first thing I did was start flying but this part seems cloudy and I seem to remember that I could leave the area I was in for some strange reason.

I also saw a small truck driving and I flag it down because I wanted to talk to the driver but when he rolled down his window to ask me what I wanted I kind of freak out and got scared so I told I thought he was someone else. After that I thought to myself that I need to be careful or I'll turn my dream characters against me. I obviously got this from watching Inception.

I felt myself starting to wake up which had been my biggest problem in Lucid dreams in the past, I would get excited and feel like I was literally sucked up into the sky and out of the dream. This time I use the spin technique to stay in the dream and it work really well. The spin itself wasn't at all what I thought it would be though. I thought it would be like spinning in circles on the ground like you do in waking life but instead when I closed my eyes and started to spin it was one of the most amazing moments I have ever experienced. The spinning motion was more like spinning in water but a much more free feeling, almost like being in outer space and there was these amazing colors like a laser show dancing all around me. During the spin I kept reminding myself that I was dreaming because I read you can come out lucidity from doing this. What's funny is when I did stop I was mad because I thought I had woke up. I was in the exact same surroundings but still thought I had woke up. So I again counted my finger and there were 6 fingers on my right hand this time. Unfortunately I did wake up after this. But even though it was short it was the most control I have had in a lucid dream so far and it was the longest I have been able to stay lucid in so far. Progress is a good thing.

Yeah, last night I got to bed a little late.

I was in a band of superheroes. There were like five to seven of us. We all had our own colors, our own powers, and our own name. We could also shoot out 8-bit beams of light of our color. They would have each of your colors in it in stripes and little squares of other colors in between. They did not move at the speed of light, more like 25 miles per hour. Whenever you looked at one of the people of the band of superheroes gibberish text would appear in a font resembling the element menu of the Powder Game. If you had two colors it would have two lines of text, one in each color, if you had three, you'd see three. My color was all of them. I was a rainbow color-wise. I guess I was an exception to the text thing– since I had all the colors I guess my name looked like the element Bubble does; each letter is a color of the rainbow, but I never could exactly look at myself, so I don't know. The only person in the band I remembered the name of was Clayton. I think the whole band was my brothers and cousins... He had on grey on top, orange in the middle, and red on the bottom. I remember the color and gender of one other person– One person, a boy, was grey on top and pink on the bottom.

We went through towns helping people out when they needed help. Eventually we got to a boss, but this time it was Clayton's color, and you can only fight people your color. I don't remember what it was, but Clayton, whose power was to fly, flew up to it. It was on the top of a tall grey tower, whose material was unimportant I guess because it was just a solid grey tall rectangular prism. He kept on fighting and fighting, shooting his color rainbows at it I guess, but it was too far away to see, and eventually I got bored watching. I shot rainbows at the tower, knowing nothing would happen. A girl on the team, possibly (or maybe not) Riley, criticized me with something similar to "Stop doing that, he's not your color, anyway!".

Now, either I don't remember anything or since the dream skipped boring parts. If it actually skipped, then this was a clear sign I was dreaming that I missed At the end of the day we were in the middle of a dark forest. (This doesn't turn bad.) Kit, a boy, (Maybe his color was a lighter and darker shade of green? I don't remember perfectly.) got out a hammer that was 6 feet long, which had a gold block for a head, but on the sides we copper or bronze plates. The handles were wood. So the head looked like this from the side:
      #########
      #
      ########
      #
      ########
      #########

Kit hit the ground with the hammer, not that hard, but not just tapping it either. A brick appeared and the Mario Theme started. It was only about three quarters the size of a real-life brick. We were all like "Whoah!" and we all begged if we could have one too. I don't even remember getting one after that. Next thing I knew we were making buildings out of bricks by whacking the hammers, with the Mario Theme still playing. Eventually bricks weren't fitting at one corner, and I looked for a problem. It turns out two of the four sides of the brick building we were making were leaning outwards, by three inches or so. I pushed it back in and resumed.

      I woke up.

Thanks for reading my first dream journal. I tried to be as detailed as possible.
    11. Marvin the fish survives again

by , 09-27-2010 at 07:40 PM (Amen, the thunderbolt in the dark void....)
I am taking care of my fish tank. I'm looking inside and admiring all the different colored fish. I turn around, turn back and am horrified as one of my fish, Marvin, has jumped onto the floor. IRL Marvin is a beta, and very small. In the dream, Marvin was a huge gigantic blue fish swirling with all sorts of colors. He was looking at me as he was laying on the floor. I grabbed a towel and scooped him up, putting him back into the tank. He began moving again and I was really glad that he wasn't dead.

I looked down and saw that my dog, Daisy, was chewing on one of my new kittens - Lily. I heard a crunching sound and screamed and ran to where she was and took Lily away from her. I thought she was dead and then realized that she wasn't. She soon began to stir in my hands. I looked back to the fish tank where some of the fish had just given birth to hundreds of little baby fish who were all swimming in schools, swooping and diving all around the tank. They were some of the most beautiful colors I have ever seen.
    12. A Shout in the Night

Title: A Shout in the Night Date: 9/15/2010
Category: Color Patterns Lucidity: Not Lucid

Keywords: Heavy, Lead, Vibrations, Colors, Patterns

Description: This morning I woke up at 03:30. While returning from the bathroom I felt very hungry...starving. I ignored this feeling because I felt if I ate anything I would not be able to go back asleep.

I did a guided meditation before returning to sleep...Silvia Method & the Ultimate Psychic Guide...About 30 min. I kept still in bed relaxing my eyes until I entered waking sleep paralysis. My arms and legs felt like lead. I felt vibrations on my face and chest. Colors and shapes danced before my eyes. A high pitch cry was heard...DAD, DAD, DAD! Pain in my left arm and hip grew (the rollover signal), I ignored it for as long as I could, about 3 hours. With exception to the pain, I felt like I was in a very deep meditative state. I felt like I was barely breathing.

Mental or Emotional State: Disappointed - I was relaxed, I entered waking sleep paralysis, and then.....NOTHING!!!

Interpretation or Meaning: Hearing voices within your dream--if the source of the voices is unknown--may represent messages from your unconscious mind, or may represent many sides of an inner conflict.

i was waiting to go to a concert with my friend by the steps that led up to the concert entrance. I kid approached me and offered to sell me 5 bucks for like a whole role of tickets to get into the concert. without thinking i bought the tickets not realizing they were complete bullshit.I quickley chased after the kid into an alley way where i saw my dad standing by a fire escape ladder that led on the top of some roof. I quickley ran up there to find the kid along with a ton of his friends. I aproached him ready to fight when his friends acted lke they wre gunna get invovled i said no let me and him settle this, the kid agreed. It was then I saw that he was a good 3 heads taller then me and no longer a kid but a big fucken dude. He was twice as quick as me doing like backflips and karate kicks. I said fuck this keep the five bucks and went back to the concert steps. I couldnt find my friend but i saw the manager of the concert who i had seen before in another dream, i ran up to him and told him what had happend. He said he could help me outt onnly under the condition that i played in the football game as a running back for one game. I was confused at furst but then i realized i was at the 49ers statium.I agreed and he said to meet him down at the field. I went to go tell my friend wat was going on nd he appeard infront of me, we began to walk in when a group of girls who i am friends with stopped me from behind. I told them i would be playing in the game tonight nd that they should come sit with me. As we walked i realized i was now wearing what i wear at school football. The road we walked on kept getting father and father without me noticing and we started drifting away from the statium now goin past another place i have been in a dream. There is this row of beautiful houses and one of them is very plane and bear(thats the managers house which i visited in another dream) the girls told me they snusck into this house before and i laughed. Below all the houses was a huge grassey hill that led to a large swimming pool and a beaitful house. I got excited and then ran down there. As i steeped onto the grass i realized i was but nakked. I did not care and encouraged everyone to join me. Some did and some did not. I swam around and a girl made a comment that the pool was heateded(this is significant cause in another dream i looked at this pool from a distance and wondered the same thing) I swam around for a lil and got out. The owner of the house came out and greeted us, she had lil kids and she told them to go inside. Suddenly the girls dissapeard and i looked over outside to see my dad my friend and my dads friend playing mario kart on an n64. i wanted to play so i ran over. My dads friend said i culd play after the race and i told him rainbow road is hella hard. When i got the controller the dream ended

      Mysterious Email:
I was viewing a black screen with a table in the middle. It was colored red and white with red possibly being for the headers and white for the rest. Three horizontal lines(the top one, the line below it and the bottom one) which the table was made off were a bit bolded making them stand out. It seems that I was looking at my email account. The headers were organized in the following order: name, subject, size and date. The size was in kb and date in the format of x/x/year. The emails were organized with the earliest date at the top and latest at the bottom. Any emails that are unread are bolded as well making it easy to figure out the newest ones. Overall, it was very well organized, easy on the eyes and easy to read. I got a new email from some administrator which I was waiting for. I remember looking at the size which was 191,xxx and thinking “191,xxx kb, wow, what kind of attachment did she send?”. I clicked on the email(more like willed it to be clicked) and a compose box opened with my previous message sent quoted along with the sender's message stating “Powerpoint 3 is not opening, lol” and possibly “go to x’s homepage”. There was more to the message that I couldn't recall.
*x equals a number value that wasn't recalled unless otherwise stated

Thoughts: Interesting dream and the layout of the inbox was fantastic. Wish I could remember the rest of the message, but, alas it is lost

    15. My Prehistoric Garden (reposted with full meaning added)

      by , 08-28-1971 at 02:28 PM
Morning of August 28, 1971. Saturday.

I discover a seemingly prehistoric coral-like “garden” underground that I had dug out from our front yard and put in shallower cardboard boxes and tried to maintain in a few different areas of my room, mostly on my tables and dressers (perhaps one or more on my floor). These “plants” (including supposedly prehistoric sea fans) are all of various colors (each one only of one color), including Pepto Bismol pink (fairly common in childhood dreams), bright glowing yellows, and that brighter glow-in-the-dark green used most often for certain toy surprises in cereal. My prehistoric garden seems very special; beautiful and nostalgic for reasons I am not sure of. Each type of plant has its own specific color. There is also a purple one that sort of looks somewhat lightning-shaped, with a bumpy surface as well as orange sponge-like “rocks” but of which may grow larger over time. Some “plants” are more rock-like, sponge-like, or fern-like than others and some glow more than others (the purple ones glowing the least, the green ones the brightest, I think - almost in the proportionate manner of glow-in-the-dark colors in real life). I am very glad to have these special plants in my room. They comfort me and radiate a sense of peace.

This is an interesting situation and one of my most comforting and deeply felt dreams of this time period. Coming from underground implies exploring more deeply into the unconscious realm or taking something (a gift) from the unconscious realm or perspective or mood of the unconscious self (the memories as such defining a more harmonious and joyful coalescence into whole consciousness), the “prehistoric garden” perhaps analogous to human DNA, yet the way the plants glow (and how they are stored - in plain cardboard boxes for the most part) implies the essence of the conscious self (and the light of day analogy). The light remains at a certain level however, which may be why my dream seems to last so long (seemingly all night), almost analogous to a reassuring nightlight.
