    1. She Can Help Me

by , 05-29-2014 at 05:09 AM (Schmaven's Dream Journal of Randomness)
Driving around town to post flyers at different shops, I realize that it is a lot easier with a car than on a bicycle. I notice the front windshield is cracked all the way down, and should be fixed, but I am prioritizing fixing the engine if anything on this old clunker car. I look at the different shops around, a liquor store, a liquor accessory store, and a sandwich shop that's not quite opened yet. I go in the sandwich shop and get the owner's attention. Asking about leaving some there, he says I can leave just 1. So I do just that, and walk out the door. All the other shops are closed because it's too early in the morning.

Driving down the road with my friend, it's very snowy now. I tell her I want to go somewhere, but don't tell her where. I get stuck at the bottom of a hill in front of the house I grew up in. In 3rd gear, the tires just spin. I downshift to 2nd, drop the RPMs a bit, and do better, but still not enough traction. A couple cars drive past us easily.

We get out of the car and climb up the side of the road, but it is also too slippery to walk. We just fall and slide back down. I try again, and am more gentle with my motions, and stick my fingers into the snow for more of a hold, and climb up successfully. I point out some bushes under the snow she can grab onto. We get to the top and sit down to rest.

Sitting right on the ground, I realize how cold my fingers and toes are. Having had frost bite a few years back, they get colder easier, and it wasn't a good idea to stick them right into the snow like that. I tell my friend "This is why I don't do stuff like this anymore" as I shake my hands to indicate they're really cold. She tells me I need a girlfriend to help me warm up. I think she's right. I remember my good friend from school lives right about here. I point off to the right where a house stands a few hundred feet down a long driveway and say, "That's her house"

We're now in a car, with another friend from school, and he asks me if she's my girlfriend. I tell him, "No, but I like her. I'm not sure what will happen between us though." He asks me, "How long have you known her?"
      "Since going to school"
He pauses to think... "So ,bout 3 years then?"
I don't answer, but think there were 3 years of college, plus 4 of high school, and a few more after college, so more than 8.

We drive past a cool fun looking part of the forest next to the road, and suddenly I'm outside, walking in it. Admiring the cool trees, and space between the forest growth, I walk alongside the road. It looks even cooler above a ridge. I climb up a steep hill to go there, but once I see it, it is just a regular forest, and the part I'm already on is prettier. I hold onto a few branches as I make my way down the steep part. A couple of them break when I grab them, making it a risky descent. I reach a point where there are only a few trees to hold onto, then it is too steep to walk. The trees are good sized, but I test them before committing to their support. Each one of them breaks loose from its base and falls down the hill. Happy that I didn't go for it before testing them, I notice my room mate who I hadn't seen before behind me.
"I don't know about this man, I'm turning back" he tells me, and walks away. I follow him, it is an easy route. Once I am low enough near the road, I turn around, and take a safer path alongside the road this time.

I stumble into my dad's house, with a girl I really like accompanying me. We go upstairs toward my room. She goes into my room right as I notice my younger brothers and sisters are home. They run up to greet me. I give them all hugs and we talk a bit. The youngest tells me, "I didn't think you were coming home so soon!"
"I didn't know I was either - It's good to see you!" I see my dad and step mom, and greet them too, getting a sort of cold response from my step mom, but I forget about it.

Remembering the girl I was with, I want to spend more time with her, so I invite her outside to help me mow the lawn. It seems like a strange request, but I don't really intend to mow the lawn, I just want to get her outside.

Suddenly, I'm outside, but with my other room mate. He asks me about mowing the lawn. I tell him, "just a little path" and point to a path that is already mowed. I grab a hand powered mechanical mower and start pushing it. He grabs the electric mower and asks me if it would be better. I tell him, "It would be, but I'm just doing this little area here, so I'm just gonna use the old school push mower." I push it along the path, and it churns up dried cut grass, cutting a bit of the new growth as I go.

Now, the girl is with me, but it's winter. I feel like once we get away from the house things will be better somehow. I have her follow me, but it is a long journey. We are outside already, but under the porch. At the edge of the porch, we climb down a fence, then go under a stairway with a low overhead, and reach another climbing part. I try to make sure I'm not out-climbing her, unsure of her skill. She is keeping up just fine.

...woken up by my room mate, the power went out, he wanted to make sure I wasn't late for work. I have the night off.
    2. Pulled out when getting in...

      by , 05-01-2014 at 08:28 AM (4th DJ-Attempt)
I'm on my bed playing with a camera, trying to take pictures of a city park in front of me, when a dark mist covers part of some trees. The image on the LCD looks very dreamy to me. Then I tell a DC on my side "it looks like it is a dreamscape". I try to get more pictures of it, until the the haze is to dark and the images turn in black. I get exited because of the possibility to get dreamscapes with this camera, then I point to a door on my left, by moving just the image on the screen with a smooth movement of my hands (it looked more like a 1st person game motion). When I press the button, I see the illumination of the image like the sun is moving really fast until I get a beautiful photo of a tree with its roots coming out of a wall next to a door. It's filled in blue and green colors besides the dreamy shadows. I'm fascinated when the DC turns into my wife and she tells me that we have to go somewhere.
I want to take more pictures, when I notice I'm pointing a window in front of me. I put the camera down and I realize it's a known dreamscape in the outside! I tell her "Wow, there it is, it's THAT dreamworld I love the most!! I stand up from my bed to see an abandoned train station in the outside and tell her: "There is the old train station!!..." Then I take one more picture. I hear the sound of an analog camera when I press the button. I look around to realize the whole dreamscape, I'm simply fascinated!
My wife doesn't seem to get interested at all, and she starts pulling me to go. I ask her to wait a little. I just want to go out of this dark room and explore, because I'm starting to realize what it means (it's a dream). Then she holds me from my genitals and squeeze them. That hurts and I'm thinking for what to do to get rid off her. I wonder about the pain, and she insists to take me out from here. I complain about it in a friendly way, trying to see the situation as something funny, but it's hurting me...
Finally, I'm lying on the floor, with the camera on my hands with my wife pulling me from my genitals...
then I wake up thinking perhaps she has something interesting to say or do...

    3. 25 Apr: gnomes rule the world

      by , 04-25-2014 at 01:35 PM (Lucid-schizo-dreamer)
non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

I see my cousin João playing with other kids on ths street park. I join them. There's a kind of standalone treehouse from which we can slide down and jump and I have great fun, but I start noticing some strange thing about these kids: they are all athletic, enjoy being outside and are fierce enviromentalists. That's good, but a bit suspicious. I notice my cousin is extraordinarily kind and good boy, and I fail to recognize him as I remembered. Then I see a kid hugging a tree and that's ok, until the point in which every one of his hairs light up on the tip and fuse with the tree trunk, like the connection the aliens on Pandora have with the other animals and plants. Ok, what is going on?
That's when they take me to the coast and I see numerous tiny creatures, like gnomes and goblins, rising from the sea. They tell me they have been secretly transforming the kids and will now make a full scale invasion of the planet, to stop the humans from destroying what's left of the world's ecosystems. They make an implant in me, that is supposed to tranform me into one these kind, peaceful, green mutant, like the kids, but I resist the brainwashing power. I mean, I am already like them, but I want to still think for myself. In the end I think: is it that bad that they will turn every human into a nature loving person and the world will be ruled by mythical guardians of nature? I guess it's just fine for me!

    4. Candles

      by , 01-29-2014 at 02:26 AM
      Date: 21 Jan

      Entry 1/2

      Pre bed: 3mel

Wbtb: 1/3 latte, had trouble falling asleep (external factors)

At some point, I begin to feel energetic as has been occasionally the case, but interrupt the process by visiting the restroom. Finding a comfortable position is not easy.

WILD: Finally, I turn to my lhs and remain still for some time. Then find myself staring at this DC woman with green blouse, it feels like I'm in.

I make cautious movements, trying to get up from the same position I was sleeping, initially just move my head. A slight scene change, I am now in my old room. I begin rocking sideways, the way I did at the beginning of another ld. This makes me feel more comfortable/fit in my dream body. Then I fully get up. The dream feels slightly unstable and I head for the window, where I tear down the curtains and look outside.

It is dark as hell, no light in the apartment and not a single light in the entire town. I remember to look at the sky - it's mostly clear, a slight mist and no stars at all. I look to my right and feel a bit creeped out. It is dark there. My worry is that I might summon something by habit. I recall I wanted to and shortly do breathing exercises. The effect is very powerful, I feel lots of saturated energy coming in and as part of me.

I decide to get in and turn around, it is a bit brighter in the room. I head towards the switch and turn it on. No light. Then I concentrate on the bulb and try to make light radiate from it, there's some effect but the room does not get brighter. I imagine another lamp and try to do the same with similar results.

Maybe I can use some candles, so I summon three small blue candles and work hard to light them. I've always thought that lighting a candle should be easy in a dream, but it turns out not. I just can't imagine the fire I guess. The wicks get bigger and fluffier and the candles change to larger ones and I make some fire-like sparks with my hands, rubbing the wick, hoping it will catch fire and use the other candles to spread it. They appear to have a ghostlike fire now, but don't emit much light as I place them around. I am annoyed with my abilities, but feel that I just need to do some fire gazing irl to improve them.

I retreat to the bed and examine the furniture. There's lots of stuff around and it looks as if I am back in this room. I wonder about how accurate the proportions are. It's exactly the same size. Most of the objects belong to the particular time frame when I lived there, but there is the blanket from our current home. Then a sofa from our old place appears for my amusement. I think about doing more breathing exercises (maybe just a few breaths?, not much done or effect) and contemplate on my life while living there. In the meantime, it is a much brighter day outside, when did that happen? Cool!

At some point I notice that I am holding a melting candle in my hand and decide to extinguish it and put it aside, but somehow feel that this symbolic act means the end of the dream. Indeed, just a bit later, the dream starts to thin out.

I think I did touch on my body very briefly, but it might have been a in-dream chain.

DEILD/DILD: I eagerly wait for the next scene, wondering if it will be in the same place. I see (kind of like in third person) myself walking in bathrobe in this place. I'm in properly now and have the ability to look around and choose where I want to go. It's inside a building and I look at this open door which reveals a softly lit bedroom apartment. I briefly consider it, but prefer to go outside, so head towards the door. It seems that it is still winter, piles of semi-thawed snow and I am not properly dressed, but for once boldly go outside. I try to phase through the glass door, but it's solid so I just open it. As I pass through the back entrance of the building and yard I see that part of the yard is sunlit and feel happy about that. Maybe I will finally have the opportunity to look for a palace looking building once I get to the street. I also think about possibly being invisible, but not sure how to apply at this point.

There are different levels of the side of the building, so I have to maneuver by climbing near a balcony to manage reaching the front of the building. I see a weirdly shaped gray cat there and wonder if it is a real cat and can see me (cats are supposed to see things like people possibly obeing), but it doesn't react like it would if that were the case. It's controlled by my thoughts and comes closer. There's something not very catlike in it, like another sort of animal I can't identify. I don't want to get too involved (and have it stuck to me like a blanket) so ignore it and think about finding the palace. There are only normal buildings around and I think I need to get in the middle of the street where I would get a clearer (trees here) view of the buildings and hopefully think of or see something appropriate.

In the middle of the street and my mood is great, sun is shining brighter too. I do some sort of bounce where I float and remain mid air and then gently float up. Very pleasant feel. I come near this tree with very small bipinnate leaves (possibly closest to honey locust tree, but with thicker leaves), it looks very beautiful. I'm starting to lose height so wonder if I should use the nearby thin end of the branch to hold on to, but with the delicate tree leaves this is not going to be very nice for the tree. I prefer not to do any mess on the tree even if a dream tree.

      [mood change]

In the meantime, I see two female DCs that I identify as bitches down on the street. My attention is directed at them, I want to and then do something to one of them. I briefly wonder why the hell do I have these desires with those bitches, one of them looks a bit like Rachel Weiss. Luckily, even after what I have done, I manage to control my impulse and don't get a sexy feeling. I think about my tasks again. I am now in what reminds me of my school but the building is kind of shifty/unstable. I think that maybe I should summon my dad and he will drop me off the palace. The dream fades.

    5. Tiny Mouths In My Face; Jungle Flower

      by , 11-12-2013 at 11:33 PM
Original entry dated Feb. 18th, 2002:

I dreamed that I woke up and pressed my hand against my forehead. My skin was moving. You know how it feels when goldfish (or any other sort of fish, except for maybe piranhas and oscars) nibble at your fingers? It felt like that - all over my forehead - dozens of tiny moist nibbles.

I got up and looked in the mirror. My forehead was covered in dozens of tiny red... mouth-things... only without teeth. Moist, cherry-red little mouths, each about the size of a pimple, gapping open and closed and each of them making tiny peeping sounds like baby chicks. I couldn't stand looking at them, or bringing my hands anywhere near my face - I just wanted to gouge them off...
...I went to the doctor, and they were apparently some sort of parasitic infection. I learned that, unfortunately, it spread really fast and through skin-contact. There was only one way to treat them, too. The doctor had to inject each mouth - individually - with an antibiotic ointment. It wasn't so much painful as disgusting. When they died, they shriveled up and fell out in tiny brown balls, leaving dozens of tiny, deep holes in my forehead.

Original entry dated Feb. 19th, 2002:

Last night I had a dream that I visited a tribe in some sort of jungle-type place. One of the tribe elders had died and I came to attend the funeral. I believe I was an ex-member of the tribe, or else the daughter of an ex-tribe member. I know that I was blonde. I couldn't quite understand their customs, and was an outsider.

At one point, after the funeral, I wound up climbing a MASSIVE jungle tree to get a hibiscuslike red flower. I can't remember why. It was used in some sort of tribal medicine. I just remember that all of the colors in the dream were very, very vivid.
    6. War; World Tree; A Parade of Ghosts

      by , 11-11-2013 at 09:28 AM
Original entry dated Feb. 16, 2002:

I had a nightmare that I had a daughter. I don't remember much about it except that it was quite bizarre and I was very unhappy about many things that occurred in the dream.

I had a nightmare about a huge war in a desert, and a lot of people died, but I think that's more along the lines of the typical "post-apocalyptic" dream if not for one of the characters in it. I was 12 when I had it but the girl I met was so compelling that I still remember the dream. She was dressed in blue and had long, straight brown hair and dark, intense eyes. She was in her teens in the dream, but had an oval, almost classic face that was too sad for someone so young. She saved my life. In the dream, there were spaceship like planes that were black and flew very low, and tanklike things that transported weapons. I was almost crushed by one but she threw me out of the way. I can only assume that she died, but the whole scene was enveloped by the dust kicked up by tank-treads.

I had another dream about a bunch of people testing a plane. It looked kind of like a flat triangle. Like a stealth-bomber, but not quite, there was something decidedly different about it. In any case, the test backfired and the plane crashed and burned. Luckily, the pilot didn't die. I can't remember if he was badly injured or not.

This was followed by another, very long and vivid dream, which I'm going to try to actually do justice:

A tree towers to dizzying heights, wreathed in clouds. It is held up by a pillar of massive, mossy trunk. Through the tangled roots springs a city, its buildings sprouting like mushrooms between the toes of a giant. Grey and fading, the tree and city are cloaked by dusk. The strange slant of the sunlight causes the shadows to pool in strange places.

A man walks down the street, turning a corner, only to find himself amidst steaming tropical vegetation, a savage jungle. He panics, running blindly, and stares up into a dazzling sky to see something rushing toward him. That was how a nameless man was splattered in the middle of an intersection. The only person who took the time to observe this event was a small girl.

After pausing to observe this event, the girl continued on her way through the twisting streets. The residents of the city streamed about her in a phantasmal flow of ghosts, fantastic, colorful, distorted, and exaggerated.

Her eyes lit momentarily on a shadowy figure, and quickly jerked away. She drew into the phantom crowd, which closed around her in a flutter of harlequin rags, and she was relieved to see the figure encompassed by the swirl of paraders.

She withdrew from the stream of grotesques and picked her way along rambling streets, tiptoeing across melted bricks. She turned to find the shadow, floating languidly above the flowing pavement. It regarded her cooly with bulbous glowing orbs set into a body that seemed to have no substance at all, except for a blurred grey outline. Ghostly animals slunk behind the wilted trashcans, chittering softly from the half-shadows.

I've broken up some of these dream entries so I can tag them properly. With only 10 tags, it can be a little hard.
    7. The Tree College

by , 08-30-2013 at 11:05 AM (My Humble Collection of Somnigraphies)
August 30 2013 - Dream Fragment #1 I remember my parents driving me into this small mall/plaza area where there were quite a few stores. A bunch of things happened that I can't seem to remember and then I remember being in a very shallow sea, maybe 2 ft deep and stretching out for as long as I could see, with some black-brown trees far, far in the horizon. I was struggling to run through this water and I eventually just swam. It was barely deep enough, but I bent my arms enough to do it. I remember getting to a waterfall and then realizing I have powers and flying up it.
    8. Paper Fire

      by , 08-13-2013 at 01:10 PM (Doctor's Dreams)
The dream was a whole lot longer than I can remember but I think I was a combination of teacher of sorts and a private detective or something like thatl The environment was a side of a mountain pretty earthy with most buildings being made from a clay material and the roots of trees showing up where they could. was showing my frined how to do fire spinning but instead of fire on the end of the wicks, there were streamers that would automatically growna d shrink like real fire. This was just how fire worked in the dream. It was intensely beautiful, especially since the dream took part around the twighlight time of day.

Well anyway, ,my brain sometimes equates fire spinning with fire bending because one kid keeps calling me Prince Zuko and because I like to think about it like that. Well anyway, one person came up to me telling me about how Prince Zuko's uncle made a house and lived in the roots of a tree for hundreds of years, and to make it crazy, this was supposedly also where Jesus was from, where he died and left all of his wisdom. Also, this was where all the hindu gods before Jesus had left their powers. When I was being told this, it was just being told to me like it was legend.

After this, I was practicing spinning when 2 people surrounded me and started trying to encompass the immediate area with a long read banner. The top of the banner was slightly above my head and the bottom reached the ground and they were wrapping it around a basketball court sized area. This was my dreams version of fire bending since red paper was fire. It would've burned exactly like fire and also responding to fire bending moves the same.

Before they finished wrapping the area, I ran through a way out and started running haphazardly downhill, using fire bending to deflect shots. Their leader was yelling at me why they were there. They too were looking for the almighty Jesus Hindu tree for it's power. I was running down the hill, skillfully jumping roots and dodging attacks when I awoke.
    9. 6th Aug 2013 Fragments, Weird semi-failed DEILD, Talking to Oreo

by , 08-06-2013 at 02:42 PM (Scionox's Journal of Dreams)
      Dream recall from today's naps

      Dream 1(fragments):

I was typing up some DJ entries and then was discussing spirituality stuff with someone, then i started watching some let's plays and one was apparently let's play of old Spyro 2 game, except intro scene went kinda different and there was different draconic character instead of Spyro and some other new characters, they talked about learning how to use different forms of something. Then i was back at my room, i was about to realize the dream but it faded out and i wake up. I keep eyes closed and try to DEILD.

      Dream 2:

I am suddenly in the forest, there's a huge tree, i think something about future i realized that i am dreaming and i have incredible temptation to make huge tree fall down(dunno why), and i literally will it to fall down, and as it does, ground shakes a bit.

      Dream 3(fragments):

I was at home and i couldn't fall asleep for nap and i try to find something to do, suddenly Oreo comes in and we have some talk(that i can't recall much), then he leaves and H. apparently comes in and annoys me with some talk about glasses and leaves as well, and then comes back, talks about it again and leaves again. I stay confused for a few seconds.
    10. Gecko Tree

      by , 05-20-2013 at 02:04 PM
Early afternoon of May 20, 2013. Monday.

I was having a nap; had a light headache, which kind of altered my dream state, I suppose. I rarely had headaches when younger and mostly only get them now in unseasonable heat - and it was really hot this morning even though it is supposed to be winter here - we even had to turn the fan on after this.

In my dream, I am with my wife, and there is a gecko moving about on the wall as in real life. I watch the very smooth, circular actions. Later, I am outside in an unfamiliar area (but maybe a distorted version of King Street in Wisconsin), seemingly at night, becoming semi-lucid. I notice that there is an “identical” but different gecko moving in a similar or same way on every single leaf of a tree, each making a sort of circular movement and going around and under a leaf, around the same time, and I feel a very strange awe over that, as it would mean that there are hundreds (even thousands) of geckos in the tree (and perhaps every other tree in the area). It is not exactly a strong fear, just a sense of being near great, natural power with a potentially overwhelming presence. It has a similar sense of a dream as a child about a giant lobster approaching from behind a building and a particular pattern being in every window at the same time at one point. I guess you could call it some sort of “fly’s-eye” view or effect, the same thing repeated in many different facets of vision. This is actually only the second time in my life that I remember experiencing this. It may be related to having a headache (I did not document a headache codition for my lobster dream) - as, when I was awake later, I had a strong impression of several perfect rows of alternating red and green spinning “wheels” (like partial bicycle wheels).

Another dream scene, though somewhat a possible continuity of the previous, involved looking at a journal entry from a dream journal site. However, instead of a computer monitor, it was somehow in a notebook of white unlined paper with picture cards attached to almost every part (from the center of the particular card, as most of it could be pulled out a little around the corners) with the entry and other comments all being on the same page, being more like a forum - also appearing to have been typed. Parts of it (one page) reminded me of something (a brief exchange) I had read on the real site that was hilarious (relating to celibacy, followed by the nice and blunt simple reaction and later additional comment in another entry by the original dreamer). A couple more comments were made in my dream, somehow appearing on the plain white (unlined) notebook paper, but the original dreamer and commenter were not the same as in real life and it involved something to do with spiders supposedly always being celibate - the real life scenario, though, reflecting somehow in my dream like some sort of jester-like catalyst. There is something along the lines of “oh look, nothing is growing” and someone else saying “I see a lot of flowers”, something to do with one person being more creative by seeing flowers - possibly relating to IMDb as well - where, very commonly in reality, one person hates the movie and another person really likes it.

    11. 29 Apr: Fire immolation

      by , 04-29-2013 at 04:18 PM (Lucid-schizo-dreamer)
non-dream dream semi-lucid lucid false awakening

I am walking a path up a hill, alongside others. Around us, on the hill, are scattered buildings. I am a visitor and they are students there.
I become semi-lucid when I look at the sky and realize how unreal it looks. The colour is super sharp, the clouds are moving too fast and there's something just mesmerizing about all that. The realization of the dream nature of things plunges me into a state of profound melancholy, bliss and hypnosis. The girl walking by my side says "Oh my god, you look like you are in love!". What??? No, she got it wrong. What I am is hopeless of ever being in love. What I am is ready to let go, because there's nothing holding me back. No hope, no illusions. And I remember Morpheus' quote "You have the look of a man who accepts what he sees because he is expecting to wake up." That's what I am. She doesn't understand.
Anyway, further ahead I see a tree and from the tree top falls a guy who is burning in flames. When he is contorting on the floor, I notice he is a buddhist monk on red and yellow robes. I scream to my friends to go and help him, while I run to one of the buildings to call 911. I find a reception where I make the call, but then I feel I should have helped to stop the fire instead, so I run to the tree again. My friends are there looking puzzled and there's no sign of a burning man anywhere. Instead, there's a couple of westerners, a guy and a girl, sitting under the tree, although they are also wearing the buddhist monastic robes. My friends say I allucinated and go away. The monk boy befriends me. He wants to know what I saw. Then I ask if I could possibly be seing him in the future, but he assures me he would not ever self-immolate. Although he feels just like me, ready to let go, he would not waste this life. He chose to be a very, very sad monk. We feel complete empathy for each other. We hold hands very strongly. I feel his warmth becoming mine. For some reason his hands are incredibly dirty and greasy, but I don't feel disgusted. We just can't let go of each other anymore.

    12. Another LD, finally...

by , 03-10-2013 at 02:27 PM (Fennecgirl's Collection of Dreams)
I haven't updated my dream journal in ages, whoops.

Anyway, I FINALLY had another lucid dream last night!

It started out as a false awakening; I don't remember what made me realize I might be dreaming, but I remember I was standing in the kitchen at the time. I counted my fingers, and I was PRETTY sure I'd counted six. I wasn't entirely sure I'd counted correctly, though, so I decided to check my other hand just to make sure. However, before I could count my fingers, I noticed something else that was a dead giveaway - my Hylian crest ring (which I wear on the index finger of my left hand) had a different symbol on it, and a larger version of that symbol also appeared across my index, middle, and ring fingers (think like a henna tattoo, but golden and slightly illuminated).

My mom was in the kitchen, so I started talking to her, since I knew I had to try to keep talking or actively focusing on something (I wake up within moments otherwise). After a moment of talking, I suddenly said, "Did you know this is a dream? This is how I know." I showed her the ring and the image across my fingers, which changed each time I looked at it. The last time I looked at it, I remember that the ring had a picture of a tree, and on my fingers were the mountains behind it. It was actually really cool.

I knew I needed to come up with ideas of things I could only do in a dream, and I knew it would be best to start with simple dream control techniques as practice. I announced that I was going to try to phase through the door (a skill that might come in handy in a later dream, right?), only to end up slamming into the door and not passing through. Oh well, I tried.

I asked my mom if she had any other suggestions of things I could try, but she asked me to leave her alone for a moment because she was busy cooking. Normally, this would have been fine, but, since this was a dream, I had to find a way to keep myself in the dream in the meantime.

I remember chattering away to myself for a moment before stopping and accidentally waking up.

      Non lucid:
I'm doing an online survey about movies and TV shows. There are some questions about ARGs.

      Non lucid:
Okay, this is a sorta weird, creepy one about a movie (the blair witch project). You guys ever dream that you are IN a movie you've just seen? As in, being a character (for example: you are a random Jedi in Star Wars) in the movie. Well, I kinda had that about this movie last night, I'm sure everyone here has seen it before, as it's quite famous. Okay, well the dream kind of followed the main plot, especially the part where they are first realizing that they are lost. Except in my dream we (me+main characters) climbed up a tree to see where we were (I really kept thinking they should do that while watching the movie, actually).

      Lucid:
Walking around some weird office, I know I am dreaming. I remember I read about the task of the month, and decide to do it. First, I decide to sing a song, so I sing Jingle Bells, it's the only one I can think of. Then I decide to make it snow, as that was the other basic task, I look out of the window and imagine the sun disappearing and snow falling down. And of course it happens. I get excited, I want to do one of the advanced tasks but I lose lucidity too fast.
    14. Kidnapped in a Sinister Plot

      by , 11-17-2012 at 10:59 AM
over 6 years ago I think

I was kidnapped by a group of thugs and put in the back seat of some sedan. They had guns and I think hoods. My dad may have bin in the car. We pull up to a country home. It had a porch wrapped around two sides and was slightly run down. To get to the front door you had to walk up some stairs to the left of the driveway. At the top to the left was a yard and to the right was the house. Their was a tree in the yard, hard dirt, probably some chew toys, and bushy ivy covered banks that sloped down to the road and driveway below.

Inside the house in the living room was a table with a large map. My parents were there with the thugs and kind of making fun of me. They all went over some plan with me and explained what was going on. I still thought it was messed up. We went back outside and the tree had pages from a book in place of its leaves. I think I was supposed to use them to break some code. I had trouble getting all the pages. END
    15. Magic Tree, Spider-Man, Totally Spies.

      //No LDs.//

      #1 - Totally Spies.

I was one of Totally Spies and our chief, Jerry, gave us mission. The problem is, I didn't know what is the mission. I also didn't know if other spies in my group knew.
After leaving Jerry's office, we went to the shop that is near my house. We were there with my little cousin, I even didn't know why we were in the shop. Anyway, I started wondering why our chief didn't give us any gadgets to fight. Then I left the shop... and entered it again. Cousin was arguing with seller. He was cursing on her, called her an idiot. I felt bad. It was my cousin behaving like jerk. Shame. I decided to leave him with another spy and exit the shop. Before I did, I saw S., whom I first met in the mental hospital. But I didn't want to talk.

      #2 - Magic Tree.

I was on meadow. There was very big tree with holes in it. Next to me was some girl. I don't remember much, only the fact she had glasses and ponytail. She came into the tree and started going upwards. It turned out that it's REALLY big inside. She could climb and climb and there was no end.
I looked at the plate which was near the tree. It had words on it. "Once you choose downward, there's no come back". Somehow I knew that under the roots is only evil and up is good. People were supposed to choose the side. And when they wanted to do it they were receiving pieces of papers with letters from A to E. And again, they needed to choose letter. Each letter had different description. Description of character. People were deciding which one was just like them. If they choose wrong letter, they will get stuck in the tree forever.
I got my pieces. I didn't really know what should I do. Then I saw S. He was around 10 years old (like me) and had his pieces too. He went into the tree. In that moment, I was seeing through his eyes. There were two girls - one from the beginning and one stranger. They were kinda... hibernated? Alive, but hibernated. He took pieces and lay their letters on their shoulders. Then I saw light. It was nice, warm light around them.
I'm not sure what happened to them, but S. came out of the tree.
And I still didn't know what to choose. So he started helping me. There were at least two letters good for me. But if tree would think different... I wanted to choose wisely.

      ...And I woke up. *facepalm*
I find this dream very amazing and magical. Tree reminds me of those from the myths. Also, the dream is alike one about W.I.T.C.H. Choosing character, some guy helping me... Quite interesting.

      #3 - Spider-Man and Hospital.

I was in the hospital with possibility to learn. It looked strange - like school mixed with hospital. But it wasn't bothering me. I went to the kitchen and wanted to make myself kissel. I couldn't find it for a while. Then I looked into the drawer and found it. In that moment some girl came to the kitchen and took kissel. At first I was confused and angry, but then I saw another kissel. So I made it and left.
When I came out, there was... Spider-man sitting on a chair. I wasn't shocked. I said 'hi' to him. After that he got electro-shocked. I thought it's impossible, because there was no sources of current. And I saw two little things sticked to his chair. I took them, showed him and said there is usually just one thing like that (?). He took a look and got electro-shocked again, when he touched it. Then I saw man who was doing it. I said "it's him!".

      ...and don't remember the rest.
